Arcadus stood there, letting th humans and the hellion converse and spout their pleasantries and not so pleasantries. "Well Rose, I'm glad we get along so well. We did just meet a few hours ago, but nothing like a long RV drive in silence to make two people friends!" The smirk on his face could pain an entire cathedral smug, and as he shifted on his invisible wall, he could see that he was bending the tile slightly. tepping into a chair, Arcadus gestured to Rose.
"Well, we have a destination and time, and if we want to get there we shoule leave soon, but if were going to bbe asking questions, we should get those sorted soon. Don't want to be in a shoot out with people you don't trust. As much as it can be insufferable, Kitai is that Kitai, and he's not as bad as the stories make out." Listening to the story Kitai was telling Arcadus sighed. Scaring a full bringer wasn't the kindest of him, nor was it the smartest thing.
"Like I said, don't believe everything about the stories, especially the one's he tells himself." Arcadus flashed a reassuring smile towards Luca. If he was going to get his cut, it was going to have to be with all these creatures actually working together, not with him having to worry about them clawing each other's throats out. While that would give him a bigger cut, he needed Rose and Luca's information, and he didn't fancy his odds against Kitai, as much as it pained him to admit.
"As for the broken security cameras, good work, you do seem to know your stuff. Now, if we can make our way to the RV, I think we are going to have to shift some boxes to make room, unless you want to ride in the bathroom. Though, Rose as has already driven, and I can't drive. I normally fly, so this is an interesting experience, to be sure." Arcadus assumed flying in these tin cans was similar to driving rather the flying he was accustomed to.
Stepping towards the exit, "Lets move today, if you would. We have customers waiting, and we have things to move." Strutting off towards the RV, Arcadus rolled his eyes. The only person there with a brain was rose and they aspired to be a low life rat peddling arms apparently. Luca had the foresight of a pidgeon, leaving a trail of destruction and not just clues, entire portfolio's of evidence. Thank the gods for spiritual folk being able to cover their tracks with warping across the planet and through changing their appearances.
Of all of them, Luca had the charisma, barring himself of course, to be able to sell these and move these. It was very much his street smarts however, that would prove to be most useful. Kitai wouldn't be much beyond expertise, he had the raw way with words, and Rose had the actual information and location. All together they made an interesting team, though they seemed to have a key missing factor, that being that they were all very self interested individuals.
Now inside the RV, Arcadus lounced around the inbuilt table and couch. Speaking to Luca, Arcadus had made an uncomfortable amount of eye contact. "So, Luca, do you live in Japan? I did for a while, out in Karakura. Great place, great food. Its a lot more spiritually active as well, great place to meet people from all three worlds. You can even meet some odd jobs who live outside thier world of origin, like Kitai." Jerking his thrumb to Kitai who was nestled in amongst crates of guns.
"So as for the sale, who are we selling to, what is the plan? Is there a plan?" Arcadsu's eyebrows had arched up like an italian church, and his tacit smile had been replaced with a sincere question as he broke Luca's gaze and flicked around the RV, now trundling down the road. They only had a few minutes to come up with a plan and as Arcadus waited for a responce, he figured this would be either a pleasantly tense negotiation, or they would just kill whatever punk shits were there and take thier stuff, and find a new buyer.
What was he getting himself into. He had an experiment to plan for, getting himself tied up in arms dealing was only going to waste his time. Soon, he'd have all the money he needed, so what was he doing here? Shrugging to himself, he stared at the table. To follow the threads, he figured, so he might as well jus see what was happening. Oh, and how could he forget, to ket back at Kitai for ruining one of his production centers. Touching on e of the crates full of 3d printed bullet sprayers, Arcadus though wat a motley crue this was.
