Circumstances: A few hours after her final conversation with Celes Shindazu, Camila has spent her time wandering through Japan in search of a place she could call home, at the very least temporarily. During this time, however, she encounters a particularly interesting foe, especially given Albin's recent restlessness.

It couldn't have been what, more than three or so hours since she'd left Soul Society? And even then, she felt like it had been an eternity ago. She felt like the amount of time since she had lost her best friend; the only person she thought she could really trust had been incomprehensible. Every second that passed had her regretting the decision more and more, like it had been eating away at her very being since then. She did what she could to shrug it off, as she kept walking, pulling her jacket close around her.

The night had been surprisingly cold; so much so to the point where she could see her own breath if she exhaled hard enough. Normally she'd been fond of the weather, but tonight was different. She felt like it was some form of karma, even if the concept had been nothing more than a stretch in her mind. Though, it wouldn't be inherently wrong, would it? Every action she'd made up to this point seemed to be some sort of "sin" against the Soul Society, perhaps this was just the universe's way of punishing her?

Stop thinking. Just keep walking.

Gods, Albin really wouldn't shut up would he? The past few days have been hell partly because of him. If he hadn't been pressing himself so heavily into the picture, she wouldn't be in this mess in the first place. And yet, he was also the reason she was still alive. Over the years, while it had taken her some time to realize the fact, Albin had been the reason she was able to fight through a very large majority of her problems; the reason she was still alive after fighting Elke, her encounter with both Espadas, especially Ailene, whom she thought spared her solely for the unique circumstance, and more.

"Yeah, yeah," she mumbled to herself aloud, "just do me a favor and keep out of my head here, will ya? I'm getting kind of sick of dealing with you recently, Albin." As she finished speaking, she could've sword she heard him chuckling. "You wound me, Cami," he said in her head, as she sighed, her mind too focused on other topics like where she was going to spend the night to reprimand him for that nickname she detested. Eventually, she stumbled upon a small town, after having followed a road out of Karakura for a few miles.

Her first goal upon arrival was to find a reasonable place to sleep for the night. Thankfully, she'd taken whatever belongings she had before she left Soul Society, so she had quite a bit of pocket change on her. While it wouldn't be nearly enough to last a lifetime, it could certainly hold her over for at the very least a little while until she found a source of income. Unfortunately for her, money was a necessary evil, as she preferred to spend this time in a combat-able Gigai; at the very least, she'd be able to interact with people instead of having only Albin for company. She shuddered at the thought.

[Beast]

The ground shook slightly as Beast jumped. Why was he awake at 2:30 in the morning? He had no idea, but he was enjoying being out in the Japanese countryside for the time being. It had been some time since he had been here, the last time being... when he was a Hollow. He had fought that one funny guy that had known nothing about the nature of Hollows or Souls or anything. The guy had used technology to avoid and try and damage Hollow Grodd. The Hollow's prehensile growing hair had been too strong for that human though. Ah, those were the simple days, when there was just hunger and eating. When pretty much all he knew how to say was "I eat... I devour..." and something else simple afterwards.

Back to the jumping, though. Beast was traversing the countryside by jumping with impressive physical strength. The ground cracked beneath him as he landed, crouched, tensed up, then released his energy into another jump propelling him further. He continued jumping through the air, the wind whipping through his ashen-gray suit jacket as he travelled. From his vantage point in the air, he could see a small town a few miles outside of the spiritual hub of Karakura Town that he wasn't willing to visit at the moment. Too many powerful figures having grown up there in recent days. Hoping to find a meal that could be used to curb his new kind of hunger, that of the Wraith instead of the Hollow, he headed in that direction.

Beast's Energy Sensory was low to average, so he might have missed Camila if he wasn't paying attention for a meal. The former Shinigami, however, as a Permanently Released type of fighter was not the kind of person who could hide their reiatsu well, if at all. Sensing the overwhelming amount of energy she had in her possession was enticing, tempting, intoxicating... He just had to pursue her and attempt to gain a meal out of the encounter. Aiming his next jump very carefully with his Mastery of the Strength Step technique, he aimed to land just a few feet behind the deserter...

Due to her sub-par skills in energy sensory, the only way Camila was able to recognize that she was potentially in danger was due to the rather loud crash of the ground beneath the man's feet. Quickly turning around, she immediately went on the defensive. She quickly unsheathed her Zanpakuto, and assumed a defensive stance. Looking the man up and down, she was taken back quite quickly by how he seemed to absolutely tower over her. He was astoundingly tall; taller than anyone she'd really ever seen before, without being outside of the realm of human possibility.

"So," Camila started, "who might you be? You don't exactly look like the type to hunt rogues, but who am I to judge?" She gripped her blade tighter, and stared at the man with a determined look on her face. While relatively unsure of what was going to happen next, she took it upon herself to prepare for a fight; after all, with her current status, what else would someone be here for? Some sort of friendly meeting? There was no way. Especially with someone as intimidating as this man.

She decided to get a closer look at the man, and was immediately taken back by his rather odd eyes. That same golden color on a black sclera had been shared with Albin, when she'd seen him. The thought made her shudder. Just what was this man? Fearing the inevitable, she held her weapon out in front of her, and her own reiatsu began to spiral around it. "Make them bleed, Buveur de Sang." With those words spoken, her sword had been wrapped in a deep red shell of her own reiatsu, and transformed into her Shikai; her signature longsword, with a red serrated blade.

She glared at the man, a look of distress and anger on her face. "Just once," she said, "I'd like to be able to spend my time in the Human World in peace. It seems like every single time I arrive I'm stuck dealing with something." As she finished, she dropped her weapon down to her side, not as focused as maintaining a stance, as four pikes that appeared around her, each one blood red in color and semi-solid, with small drops of some kind of liquid dripping off of them; to those perceptive enough to smell them, they'd have the same iron-like scent of blood.

{Sanguine Lance}Technique Name: Sanguine Lance

Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect):

Camila focuses her reiatsu into the shape of a spike, with its length being two feet. The spike forms to the left of her, slowly taking on a thick, blood-like appearance, while not actually being made of blood. The lance then fires that same post at a speed of 800 towards a target, in a straight line. Upon impact with a solid force, the lance will implant itself, remaining within the object or person for a cost of either 100 reiatsu per post, or 1 blood counter per post. Upon contact with a person, the lance slowly siphons reiatsu from them, and replenishing Camila’s reiatsu pool in turn. The amount of reiatsu siphoned per lance is equal to 100 reiatsu per post. After two posts have passed, the lance then disintegrates, leaving behind a blood-like liquid on the ground where the lance dissolved. In addition to the normal Reiatsu cost, Camila may spend up to three Blood Counters for an additional cost. For every Blood Counter spent when using this technique, another lance forms near the original for no reiatsu cost, up to a maximum of 4 lances total. The lance made of Reiatsu has an attack power equal to her OS. Additionally, Camila can decide to siphon blood counters from a target impaled with these lances. These lances can forego any reiatsu drain, and instead siphon blood counters at a rate of 1 per post from the lance created with reiatsu, and 2 per post from lances created from blood counters.

Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc):

Costs 150 reiatsu to use. Upon firing, the Sanguine Lance manifests in a physical form. This means it can be interacted with, and in turn, pulled out of the target, stopping the siphon (Though, in turn, if a deep enough wound is left, it can in turn be drawn upon for a Blood Counter.). The lance can only be fired in a straight line, and does not curve at all. The Reiatsu draining effect does not stack upon more than one lance being implanted in the target.

[Beast]

Beast watched as the woman unsheathed a Zanpakutou and called herself a Rogue. How... interesting. While he'd never met a Rogue before, he was pretty sure the Central 46 didn't usually let them keep their powers when they defected. Something else must be powering her Shikai. Something... Sinister, perhaps? And just as soon as the thought crossed his mind, it was gone again as the woman was releasing said Shikai and preparing to attack him. Two could play at that game. "Grow or Else, Oerwoud Hart! Burn It All Down, Bloeding rand!" Twin Zanpakutou that were drawn from his side became two sides to his body. On the right side a glorified set of plates of pure white bone that covered the outside of his forearm and his knuckles. On the left side, a flaming saber and bronze gauntlet that covered the entirety of the arm up to the elbow with an additional cosmetic band of bronze around his upper arm. Additonally, his fingernails on his right side grew into inch long claws and his hair grew out an extra foot in length. He also was getting taller than he already was, with his arms compensating by growing as well.

She said she wanted peace in the Human World. That was a laughable concept to Beast, who had only known hardship here. Here he had been in numerous fights, been hunted by more than one entity, and just all around never had any sort of peace in this world. He had fought humans who wanted him dead as a Hollow, he had hunted down Shinigami defectors and consumed them for their energies, he had tried to do the same to multiple individuals such as a powerful Mod Soul. Everywhere he went in this world there was death and destruction, never peace. He intended to show Camila just that. "There is no Peace here, only Suffering. Now, defend yourself like your life depends on it. Because it does..."

Those bloody Lances looked dangerous, so Beast wanted nothing to do with them. His sword was casting light as it burned, so he knew that hiding was not going to be an option here in the middle of the night. In fact, it made him easier to target most likely. He waited for the slightest of movements from the lances to start moving towards him and then tested the waters with a quick, Mastered Shunpo Eichi. A shockwave would be left where he previously had been, kicking up dirt and rocks and flinging them all manner of directions. With only the light of the nearby town and the moon illuminating them, it was potentially very difficult to see anything else. Beast would have stepped to the right about twenty feet before raising his saber over his head straight up.

Slashing downwards at nothing in particular, Beast used his Bloeding rand Shikai ability to create a crescent slash of bladed flaming leaves towards where Camila had been previously. For every inch that his sword travelled, a bladed leaf was created, forming the appearance of that crescent slash. Assuming she hadn't moved too far out of his ability to see with his athletic vision he would aim his slash directly at her instead of trying to guess which way she would dodge and plan accordingly. He wasn't that kind of fighter. He was much more a direct kind of combatant. The leaves would travel at speeds and strength equivalent to his own physical prowess, that is to say 188 speed and 450 strength. Easily dodged when they illuminated the night so harshly contrasting to the darkness.

Camila couldn't help but eye at him cautiously as he seemed to speak out what sounded like a release command after she had finished hers. Was he some kind of Arrancar? She'd known about the nature of Albin being a hollow, and this man seemed to have a few similar traits; namely the pale skin and rather freaky-looking eyes. Sure, that could've been left up to coincidence, but what were the chances of that? Surely there was something more going on than just coincidence? After all, every other Arrancar she'd seen before didn't have those same traits; they looked like normal people, except for that hollow hole they all seemed to have.

"Fancy gloves you've got there," Camila said, continuing to eye the man, as he'd been growing taller and taller, with various other changes across his figure. This wasn't some Shinigami release, from what she could tell; the only kinds of people that did this to her knowledge were Arrancar. But there was so much wrong about that theory! Either way, she couldn't spend her time pondering this idea forever. A fight was fast approaching, and she'd need to be ready to defend herself, or strike if he went on the offensive.

Unfortunately for her, though, while she was lost in thought, Beast had thrown himself to a different location, and with a bang at that. The explosive after-effects of Shunpo Eichi had caught the girl off-guard, as she did what she could to plant her feet to the ground and brace herself from the force of the man's movement. While still reeling from the effects of Beast's movement, her lances had effectively dissipated; there'd be no way for her to get a good shot with the remaining ones, so it was better to start over and try again with them.

She darted her eyes all around, looking for that same source of light that had been illuminating from his blade at the time, in hopes of finding where he was as quickly as she could. Sure enough, she'd spotted him not too far away, and to her left. As he'd been spotted, she'd noticed some sort of attack that had been coming from his blade. She couldn't quite make out what it was, but it seemed to be numerous little flaming spikes headed straight toward her. Taking the opportunity to move at her full speed of 200, she managed to sidestep them with relative effectiveness.

"No peace, huh?" She shouted as she began to sprint toward the man, pulling her sword back with both hands, "well, I'm gonna have to beg to differ! I promise you that the only one needing to defend themselves here is gonna be you!" If he hadn't moved, she'd push herself off the ground and attempt at an overhead swing, trying to cleave down through the middle of her opponent. Whether or not this attack was successful, Camila once again decided to create and simultaneously fire four more of these bloodied spikes toward Beast, aiming for a shot at point-blank range. This wasn't so much an attempt to wound him, but more one to see just how he'd try to escape.

Beast was now another inch taller, and his hair now measured three feet long. Camila simply sidestepped his single directional slash of leaves, which was to be expected. He was fairly far away, the leaves didn't move very quickly, and she was faster than they were. He had ways of fixing that, but he was biding his time and trying to stay ahead of exhaustion. He knew he could end up burning himself out too fast if he wasn't careful. He had ways of dealing with faster opponents, and ways of making his attacks faster, but if he ran out of spiritual energy too fast it would all be for naught. Camila started to run towards him and when she got within range she jumped up and slashed downwards in an attempt to cleave him in half.

Beast's eyes just glinted in amusement. "Gotcha"

That's when the power of Grodd's Shikai manifested. Oerwoud Hart allowed Beast to manipulate the former Shinigami's body in very specific ways. Most significantly it allowed his growing hair to become very physically fast and very physically strong. The three foot long "fifth appendage" flowed upwards like a shield to block Camila's attack. Having already sensed that she was spiritually strong and guessing that she could cut through the hair in its natural state, Beast quickly fortified the hair with reiatsu and twisted it to form a defense with a durability of 1,200. The hair's natural durability was 600, equivalent to its strength, but when it was fortified it had doubled defensive durability but could not attack while in this form.

That didn't stop Beast from trying to attack with his arms, though. Rather than try and cut Camila with his saber, he opted for a more simplistic and unrefined technique. While she was creating four more lances, his arm was lashing out at 1,880 speed with Shunpo Karin to aim an open palm at Camila's core. With animalistic instincts, this attack was happening just as the serrated Shikai was clashing with Beast's fortified hair. If he managed to connect while she was off balance in midair having been blocked, he'd release a jet of reiatsu from his hand that would send her flying upwards and backwards exactly thirty meters at which point she'd just stop moving and fall to the ground.

If she could still get off her blood lances, Beast had no choice but to take four shots at point blank range given they moved faster than he could reasonably accommodate. He was hoping that his Partial Shunpo with his right arm was faster than the lances and that they would travel along with her instead of remaining coming at him, but there was still the chance that he just took four shots to the torso. Would that slow him down? Probably not top much given he felt little pain any more, was a stubborn man with a high Strength of Will to push forwards, and could recover from Damage and an incredible rate. The drain on his reiatsu from the lances would definitely be frustrating and annoying given he had such a low pool to work with, though...

This basic Hakuda technique requires an open palm to the enemy's chest. This technique causes reiatsu and raw force to jet from the user's attacking arm when it hits. This blasts the enemy back exactly thirty meters. Momentum suddenly stops after 30 meters, forcing the enemy to an awkward, jetting stop. This results in their being offbalance.

The famous "partial Shunpo" technique. This allows the user to initiate a single movement at Shunpo speed with one limb. This cannot be used without initiating the forward momentum. The user will need to move their arm the way they normally would before this technique can be activated. Momentum for this technique cannot be controlled. This means once the user initiates this technique, they cannot stop their limb from the movement.

Also stated above. Higher reiatsu cost than normal Shunpo. Limit is once per post. More stamina taxing than regular Shunpo.

The very moment Camila made contact with "Beast", she was interested quite quickly. Hair as a form of defense? That was certainly a rather unique power, and she was excited to see what was going to happen next. She was truly beginning to think that he was an Arrancar. At the same time of her making contact with Beast's hair, though, she wouldn't have the ability to react to the hit to her abdomen in time. As such, she'd be shunted backward by the force of the technique against her.

Unfortunately for her, Camila's lances were also launched with her, which dissolved in midair per her own desire. Once again, no sense in keeping them active if they didn't connect. Her main goal here instead was to rebound while in the air, which, she eventually managed to do, if it wasn't for the fact that she'd lose absolutely all momentum and be shunted downward in turn, once again doing what she could in order to land on her feet upon hitting the ground.

"The hell was that?" Camila asked, "nice party trick, but it's not gonna work again!" With that said, Camila would take the opportunity to launch herself forward at a speed of 2000, thanks to a standard Shunpo. Her goal was to appear right in front of Beast, though in a crouching position this time, she'd aim for an upward slash against the man, once again jumping into a strike, and once again preparing an additional four lances around her to launch aiming for his abdomen.

Her goal here was try to rush down Beast; to stop him from being able to react to the best of her ability. She'd always felt that the best defense is a properly calculated offense, and as such she was going to make sure to keep the offense up on Beast while she could. With someone as physically imposing as he was, she threw her energy reserves to the wind and would absolutely keep up with an attack as much as she possibly could, as her eyes were likely glaring with raw aggression that had been changed over the last few moments.

"Did they not teach you at least of the existence of Hakuda in the Academy?" Beast mocked Camila after his successful strike which couldn't have felt comfortable. Though Camila was almost as resistant to pain as Beast was so it was likely that she simply shrugged it off. Good to know. While she thought he was an Arrancar, he seemed to have knowledge that only a Shinigami would have. He knew of the Shino Academy, knew of the Shinigami martial arts, had learned at least one of said martial arts as far as Camila knew. "Party trick? I've got so much more up my sleeves..." And with that, he let out a wild stream of raw and untamed reiatsu. Gravitational Pressure. Since Camila was too strong to be affected by it normally, this would be ineffective at stopping any of her advance.

Now four feet long, Beast wound up his hair again and used it to parry the upwards strike from Camila's jump. It could move at 400 speed to protect him from being cut in half, but would leave him open to being hit by the four lances to the abdomen. Focusing on the incoming attacks, he would flex his Tortoiseshell armor technique across his entire body to fortify his skin, though that would be ineffective as well due to Camila's piercing power being nearly double his durability. All four lances would connect with his body, but Camila would notice the attacks pierce about half the distance they should have gone in and bleed only a tenth of what they should have as well due to Beast currently restricting all of his blood flow across his body.

Once whatever negative happened from being pierced by the lances, Beast would upgrade his Gravitational Pressure with Hakuda. An Aura of Predation would release, a Dark Wild Art, increasing his effective class for his Pressure by 1 which would drive Camila to the floor if she didn't pay 300 reiatsu to resist it. She had the reserves, so that wasn't probably as effective as the second effect of the Aura, that of the fear it generated. Camila would lose 20% of her Instincts, a harsh blow, as the Wraith generated a frightening presence. In his mind, he also prepared to wordlessly cast Hado #55: Hiragana, preparing to take away Camila's speed advantage entirely. That is, assuming that these lances that were sticking in him didn't somehow incapacitate him in a way he wasn't expecting. He was still stationary completely, maintaining concentration on his Tortoiseshell armor at the moment.

Technique Description and Effects:

This technique is an intimidation ability used in order to slow down and weaken the opponent with fear. Making use of the concept shown in Gigei Mikon: Douzen Heisei and reversing it, this technique creates an aura of Reiatsu around the user that is used in a sense similar to excessive spiritual presence; when active, it makes anyone around the user, whether friend or foe, see the user as something to be more feared, to be concerned with; slowly this fear builds into intimidation, making the victims more easily frightened, unable to focus as well. As long as this aura is active, the user’s gravitational pressure is treated as if it were one Class higher than their usual Class. Atop that, anyone who is under the adjusted class loses 10% of their Instinct for every Class they are beneath the adjusted Class. The range of this technique is 100 meters in radius if the victim can see; if it is only felt, rather than observed, then the radius is halved to 50 meters.

How to use technique:

Disperse Reiatsu out from the body to form an aura, one that suggests a greater presence and causes fear in those who are within its range.

Technique Drawbacks

There are a few drawbacks for this technique. The first is the cost; this has a cost of 150 Reiatsu per post it is active. This drains Reiatsu over time. Second is the ability to resist this technique; with a 2 or higher in Lack of Fear OR Calm Mind, an opponent can reduce the loss to 5% of their Instinct per Class difference after adjustment. With a 2 or higher in BOTH, this technique can be completely resisted. Naturally, having a higher class can allow this to be resisted as well. This also requires at least a 2 in Hakuda.

Iron Muscles: Tortoiseshell Armor

Technique Description and Effects: [There are some people, some creatures, who exist in this world who are so massively muscled, so physically powerful, that they seem to be almost invulnerable. Fists bounce off them, bullets crumple, and rocks shatter as they hit his flexed muscles. Even swords don't do as much damage, barely cutting him before he shakes them off. These people are fearsome when faced in a combat situation. And Kubi has mastered this technique.

The "Iron Muscles" technique is one developed by Kubi; in leu of any defensive techniques he could use, Kido being beyond him, and the likes of Hierro and Blut being beyond his racial abilities, Kubi has delved far into the realm of physical prowess and discovered this technique. A way to harden the body to the point of being near invulnerable.

What the Iron Muscle: Full Body technique does is simple. It's based on physical strength; so long as this technique is activated, blunt strikes - a.k.a. any strikes that do pierce the skin - are completely negated, the user's sheer physical strength completely blocking it. Additionally, bladed attacks are reduced in effectiveness by 50%. They'll cut less and hurt less than they normally would. In addition to the damage negation, blood flow is stopped by 90%, due to the clenched muscles restricting the blood flow to the wound.

[First and foremost, this technique can only be used for three posts at a time until mastered, which brings it up to five posts. It requires a single post of rest between every use. Camila couldn't help but remain confused at Beast's comment about Hakuda. How could he have known about that, alongside with the Academy? Something here didn't add up. She was once again starting to question her guess as to whether or not this man was an Arrancar; there's no way he could've known that information otherwise, right? She'd like to take a poke at that and see if she could get more information out of him as time went on, but she'd have to wait and see if that was possible.

Realizing her attack was ineffective, Camila followed through with her initial plan, and struck Beast with her four sanguine lances. Only one would be focused on draining his Reiatsu, while the others were looking to siphon something much different from him; blood. Unfortunately for her, he hadn't seemed to be bleeding all that much, so gathering blood from the man was going to be rather ineffective. Nonetheless, these would still hope to draw out some of his spiritual vitality over time, providing a phenomenal way for the girl to slowly weaken the man, even if she wasn't able to capitalize on the main purpose of the lances to begin with. Beggars can't really be chooser, could they?

The moment she made a small hop backward to put some distance between the two of them, though, Camila was immediately overcome with an absolutely massive sense of creeping dread, as well as a tremendous weight being applied to her being; gravitational pressure. All she could focus on was this man's absolutely horrifying visage, as something forced her to truly take notice. He was absolutely unlike anything she'd ever seen before, and the thought of that frightened her immensely.

She began to consider whether or not fighting against someone such as him was a good idea; she'd never really been afraid of any foes she'd fought, aside from the Espada she'd taken on, but something about this man felt like he was on an entirely different plane of existence compared to those two. She needed to put some distance in between them; mostly as a way to protect herself. As such, she'd make sure that she remained a solid 30 feet away from him consistently. If he was able to get a closer look at her, Beast would likely be able to observe her rather apparent trembling, and wide-eyed expression. She genuinely feared for her life.

Doing what she could to resist the crushing force of Beast's gravitational pressure, Camila prepped a ranged attack of her own; one she had actually been quite proud of in concept, but was far too fearful to actually take the time to congratulate herself because of it. Her plan was as follows; she began by prepping six sanguine lances, each one hovering around her. From there, she held her hands out in front of Beast, and mentally spoke the incantation for one of her favorite Hado; Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! On the wall of blue flame, inscribe a twin lotus. In the abyss of conflagration, wait at the far heavens. Hado #73: Sōren Sōkatsui!

From there, she fired off a pair of pale-white fireballs with an OS of 451 straight for Beast. Though, this wasn't the main attack; her main goal was to use this Hado as a diversion as she fired all six lances, each one right after the other in a single-file path. Upon finishing this technique combo, her breathing began to get heavy. Using a technique combination like that was extremely taxing. She'd need a second to recuperate, which she'd take after making that attack. She'd done what she could to hold a defensive stance, though it wouldn't be the most effective considering she was starting to wear herself out.

{Soren Sokatsui}Technique Name: Hado #73: Sōren Sōkatsui (Twin Lotus Blue Fire, Crash Down)

Technique Description and Effects: This spell is, in all practicality, a doubled version of Hado #33, Sōkatsui. When released, this spell fires with the potency of not one, but two Sōkatsui orbs, creating an enormous blast of blue fire that can easily consume a target as it envelops them. Even glancing hits can cause first-degree burns with ease.

How to use technique: Speak the spell and point hand towards the target.

Incantation and Effect: “Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! On the wall of blue flame, inscribe a twin lotus. In the abyss of conflagration, wait at the far heavens.” With the incantation, this spell gets a 30% increase in Reiatsu Strength (i.e. if Reiatsu Strength is 100, this is treated as 130 with incantation).

[Beast]

Those lances hurt to be pierced with, and worse one of them was draining away some of his precious reiatsu. Beast was having none of that. While Camila created six more lances and then started charging a powerful Hado with the incantation, Beast powered through the pain and ripped the lances out. He used his prehensile hair to do so, now five feet long. He divided the hair into two strands that each moved at 400 speed to grab and pull out the lances with their full 600 strength and fling them to the ground where they couldn't drain him as easily, if at all. Did this hurt? Yes. But Beast was used to pain, and was a Master at Tolerating it and Recovering from Damage and pushing through through sheer force of Will.

Body still flexed tightly to keep his blood flow to a minimum even though it would cut his speed and prevent him from attacking with his body, Beast still had his prehensile hair to do the work for him at his mental command. Soon it would be long enough to cover his entire body and shield him from anything that Camila threw at him. Anything except fire, of course. As the Soren Sokatsui erupted from her hands, Beast flash stepped away using his instincts superior to that of a savage animal by a significant degree. If one had ever tried to catch a wild rabbit with their bare hands or pin down a bird they would realize just how futile it would be trying to catch Beast off guard with a single directional series of attacks such as those.

He moved about sixty feet to the left, pushing the upper boundaries of his Shunpo even with it having been Mastered by him. His Shunpo was slower than normal as a result of his Tortoiseshell Armor, but he was prepared to even out that playing field with a Hado of his own. He cast his prepared spell, Hiragana, forming a 200 meter earthquake that started shaking the ground and making it hazardous to move quickly. Dropping his flaming saber, he mentally commanded his hair to grab it, carefully, by the hilt and hold it aloft. "Careful now... Playing with fire is sure to burn you..."

With a set of swings of his hair, he let out a pair of slashes of leaves that formed the appearance of a cross in orientation this time. They were much more dangerous than before, this time moving at 400 speed and 600 strength. Easily strong enough to knock Camila over even if she managed to block one of them with her sword and fast enough to catch up to her before she had a chance to rest from the attacks she launched. If she tried to avoid the slash by stepping to the side, she could get hit by the horizontal slash. If she tried to duck underneath it, she could get hit by the vertical slash. If she tried to block, the inch gap in between each bladed leaf would make it hard to catch them all simultaneously. And if she moved faster than 100 speed, she would become off balance and have a hard time walking straight. She'd have to do all of this while the Predator Aura continued to instill fear and maintain its 20% cut to her instincts.

Knowing that his reserves were being taxed to their maximum already, Beast knew he had to work to finish this quickly...

The soul purpose of this technique is to counter fast, physical fighters. While it itself cannot do any direct offensive damage, Hiragana creates a small, localized earthquake that may prevents any ground movement at a speed more than 100. Any moving about a speed of 200 would lose their balance and fall to the ground, where they are vulnerable to attacks. Those moving at a speed between 100 would be unable to walk straight and have a hard time keeping their balance, as opposed to being knocked off their feet at a speed of over 200.

How to use technique (How is it activated?):

The user must have both feet planted firmly in the ground upon activating this technique. After it is activated and the reiatsu cost is deducted, the user is free to move around, though if they move too quickly, Hiragana will knock them off balance as well. The user may then pay the reiatsu cost to maintain this technique without having their feet planted in the ground.

Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc)

Firstly, this technique does not have the power to level a stable, standing building. It cannot be used for massive destruction, but only to slow down physical fighters. In addition, Hiragana only affects a circle with the radius of 200 meters, making it difficult to leave rapidly if one is forced to move on the ground. For each post the earthquake is active, the user must pay the reaitsu cost, and it may be ended at the user’s will. Finally, step techniques such as Shunpo, Sonido, and their equivalents would be able to aid those trapped inside the earthquake zone in escaping. Also, techniques such as Advanced Air Ground, and others that allow the user to walk on air would ignore the effects of Hiragana, even if the incantation is used.

Incantation and Effect:

(Incantation strengthens the earthquake to the point that step techniques would be impossible within it. Watching her attack miss completely, Camila couldn't do much else but stare in frustration, shock, and worry. Granted, this was all before having to deal with the ground now beginning to rumble and shake. She struggled to maintain her balance, let alone to try to dodge or effectively block the barrage of leaves that had been coming her way. In turn, she'd hold up her blade as to block most of the leaves coming at her vertically, though some of those would still hit and there wasn't anything she could really do about the ones coming for her horizontally. She'd have to take the hit.

With a tremendous amount of force behind each leaf, Camila was easily thrown back by the strength of each hit and onto the still shaking earth. She winced in pain as took a second to stand up, and to focus her reiatsu across her entire body in an effort to heal all of her wounds. Thanks to each point of impact being rather small, healing each wound wouldn't be too much of a problem, but the sheer force of each hit had left her with a pretty painful soreness across what was effectively her whole body. Using her sword as what was effectively a cane, Camila forced herself to stand and face Beast, that same look of worry on her face growing ever stronger as she tried to move against the ever-creeping gravitational force being forced upon her.

With each passing minute, she was far from sure how she had any chance of coming back from this fight. Partly because she couldn't do much of anything but keep her focus on the absolutely terrifying presence of her foe before her. Her mind began to race as she tried to think of different ways to keep that distance, while also keeping up an assault on her enemy. In turn, because of her fearing for her life, she'd burn through far more reiatsu than she could've ever hoped to.

If she hadn't been attacked during the time she'd spend healing and standing back up, Camila held out her hands toward Beast once again, and mentally spoke the incantation for a Bakudo this time; Walls of ironsand, a priestly pagoda, glowing ironclad fireflies. Standing upright, silent to the end. Bakudo #75: Gochutekan! Once she had finished, five large iron pillars had begun to fall above Beast at two times the speed that the spell normally fell at. Her goal here was to try to seal him for the time being, until she found a way to deal with his advances.

From here, without a care as to whether her first spell had successfully bound the man, Camila kept her hands outstretched as she began to cast another, once again mentally speaking the incantation. By the time she'd finished, if Beast hadn't moved from that exact location he was at, nine black, spiked orbs would begin to form around him, each one binding a specific limb, with the final orb resting in front of his chest. Thus was the result of Bakudo #79: Shibarikuyou.

Once again putting very little effort into telegraphing where Beast could've moved, and focusing solely on where he was at the moment, Camila summoned another six of her lances the moment her most recent spell had finished casting, and launched them straight for where Beast had been. While this assault could've easily been viewed as something heavy, in truth only above Beast and in front of him were the only areas that were effectively "cut off"; if he could move fast enough to escape from either side, they'd both be very viable escape options.

Camila once again took a deep breath and exhaled heavily as she continued to exert herself. This attempt to subdue her opponent had been what was effectively a last-resort; there wasn't much else she could do beside these spells that would allow her to keep up the fight; simply put, she was out of options from here on. Her heart started to race even faster as she realized this, and the panic in her actions, her trembling, and overall fear of the man had begun to grow more and more apparent with each passing second. A certain someone, however, saw this as an opportunity for himself, as Camila's head started pounding with one of the worst headaches she'd ever felt.

Let me join in on the fun, Cami, I'm itching to fight.

By taking three seconds to activate this technique, Camila can spend 200 Reiatsu in order to sacrifice all of her current Blood Counters. By an amount of Blood Counters selected by Camila based on the chart below, an effect is activated based on the amount Sacrificed:

1-5 Blood Counters: Camila feels refreshed, giving her a small stamina boost. This is enough of a stamina boost to bypass the stamina drain for this technique. This also closes miniscule wounds, and fixes any small bruising. Wounds that are larger than an inch in length are not fixed.

6-10 Blood Counters: Camila is granted the benefits from sacrificing 1-5 Blood Counters. On top of that, larger wounds are healed, and all bruising is fixed. Wounds that are larger than 5 inches in length are not healed.

11-15 Blood Counters: Camila is granted the benefits of sacrificing 1-10 Blood Counters. On top of that, she's able to repair a fair amount of potentially lethal wounds. All cuts and bruises are healed, and Camila can restore small parts of her limbs (She can restore a lost hand or foot, but not the entire arm or leg).

16-19 Blood Counters: Camila is granted the benefits of sacrificing 1-15 Blood Counters. On top of that, she can restore damage to entire limbs, though only one limb can be healed per use at a time. She also gains 2 points in Poison Resist, but loses them after 1 post. This technique is used to heal wounds. It is not meant to restore stamina. It only helps to prevent limbs from being useless through breaks, or to prevent blood loss. Camila will still tire normally. Camila must remain stationary during the three seconds this technique requires to activate. If she is hit out of this channeling effect, all Reiatsu and Blood counters spent for activation will not be refunded.

{Shibarikuyou}Technique Name: [Bakudo #79: Shibarikuyou (Death's Blackening Grasp)]

Technique Description and Effects:

This technique has only been used once in Tite Kubo's canon, and thus the effect is rather obscure. Once this is cast, several small black tears of reiatsu form around the victim, connected by an invisible connection, each within a meter of the last, and one for each individual body part. The entire body is instantly sealed and immobilized. While this technique can be dodged by the quick or quick thinking, it is unique in its ability to delay being broken once a victim is caught. No matter the reiatsu strength, this technique requires four seconds at minimum to break. However, this is an easily dodged technique as well which is usually rare in connecting.

How to use technique:

The casting hand must be aimed at the victim.

Incantation and Effect:

The incantation does not increase the reiatsu strength, but instead, if the technique is used with it, then every post of being caught in this technique, the victim's remaining reiatsu amount will halve from its current point. This is excluding the post of capture. Incantation unknown.

[Beast]

The little one was hardy! Managing to stand up healed after taking numerous flaming blades to the body, Beast frowned. She struggled to stand, at which he just watched and taunted. "What, no snarky comeback this time? What happened to your promise that I was going to be the only one needing to defend myself?" She held out her hands and began casting another spell. Waiting to react to the attack that was probably something he'd need to dodge, Beast waited for her to finish casting so he could just avoid it with better ease. He too couldn't move too fast or he would fall over, though he personally knew that he could still use Shunpo without too much effort given he hadn't used the Incantation for the Hiragana.

When the pillars began to fall from the sky, Beast actually decided to do something crazy. He bent his legs in a squat, and jumped up high to meet the falling Bakudo. Dividing his hair into two strands again, a small braid held his Zanpakutou and the rest of the six feet punched upwards with all its might to meet the attack head on. Having nearly double it's Offensive Strength, the pillars Beast aimed for would break apart by the force that could have shattered steel. The rest of the pillars would fall to the ground where they'd pin down nothing of note, given Beast was in the air. His flaming sword still giving away his position, Camila could probably still see him and aim her second Bakudo at him, so he pushed off a slanted ledge of Advanced Air Ground with his Strength Step again to fire his body like a rocket towards her to dodge the Shibarikuyou.

Maintaining both his Predator Aura and his Hiragana was spiritually exhausting and was not helping him as much as he would like. Yes, she was burning through reiatsu and looked incredibly frightened by him. Yes, she couldn't move very fast. But she wasn't moving. He'd have to fix that. As he flew towards her, he made the conscious decision to let go of his Predator Aura and Hiragana then pushed off a second ledge of Advanced Air Ground to change his trajectory to aim for her left side. He couldn't let her lances pierce him again, so he executed an exhausting but well intentioned attack. When he was about to hit the ground, aiming for about a half meter away from her, he pushed off a third Advanced Air Ground platform with a Shunpo Eichi again, creating a shockwave with 450 strength a meter in size to burst out.

But she had already seen him do that...

What he added to the technique was one of his Bloeding Rand Shikai Techniques, Draakstaking. Instead of just being a shockwave of 450 strength, it was now a flaming shockwave of 450 strength, right next to her. This coming very close after her Bakudo had been dodged would potentially be a large surprise and though the earthquake had faded, wasted, Beast was not letting up his assault. His Shunpo Eichi took him up into the air where he spun around to face his opponent and see what damage the flaming shockwave had done to her, the ground, and her morale. He didn't know if she could continue to heal her wounds over and over again, so he tried to do as much damage as possible as quickly as possible. Eventually he'd run out of energy and have to jump in for an attempted kill shot, but this one was as good as any for that purpose...

Technique Description and Effect: Not always is a single stripe of bladed flaming leaves good enough for Beast. By activating this technique for 100 reiatsu, Bloeding Rand’s flames can be imbued into another technique. For example, a Gouzen Demizu Kidou spell would be a tidal wave of burning water capable of drowning and burning victims or a Shunpo Eicchi could be a shockwave of flames. This can be done once per post maximum.

Technique Name: Advanced Air Ground

Technique Type: Spiritual Technique

Technique Description and Effects:
This is a technique designed especially for breakdancing and parkour, utilizing a more advanced version of air ground. While in a terrain where air ground exists, the user can create more complex surfaces like air walls, air ceilings, air ledges and even an air push. This allows the user to perform handstands and windmills on air as if it were normal ground or even stand upside-down on air as if gravity was reversed. The air push makes the air ground very elastic so that the user can jump higher and allows for slight movement even when restrained by a bakudou.

For a reiatsu cost of 25, the user will be able to momentarily cast an "air ground" on areas such as soul society and heuco mundo, allowing the user to "double jump" or cast shunpo in midair. If this technique is mastered, the user will be able to create air grounds that last for as long as a post. This can be used in creative ways to improve acrobatics and visual impressiveness.

Camila couldn't help but watch in horror as her Gochutekan had failed miserably against Beast, as he seemed to effortlessly tear the hope of that technique hitting apart, and sent himself flying toward her. While normally she would've made note of the fact that she no longer felt that creeping dread or the gravitational pressure being exerted on her, Camila was far more focused with that headache that had been causing her rather extreme amounts of pain at the moment.

Sorry, Camila, but it's my time to shine.

Due to her current complications, Camila did nothing to dodge the effects of the amplified shockwave that had started right next to her. Instead, the shockwave wracked her body with burns, and sent her tumbling against the ground, unable to catch her balance for a little while. Thankfully while she had tumbled most of the fire that had caught from her clothes had been put out, though it hadn't left her without burns across her body. It was painful as hell, and quite easily reaching her threshold for what she could take, but it wasn't quite there yet; one more good hit, though, and she'd likely be down.

As she eventually caught her balance and forced herself up, Camila couldn't help but grip at her head and let out the loudest scream of pain she could've. As she did, whatever minimal control she had over her spiritual pressure had vanished as she seemed to apply that pressure to everything in the area, whether it had any sort of effect on the area or not. Though, those who could interpret specific reiatsu signatures might've picked up on the traces of hollow reiatsu within this area.

As she raised her head and turned her gaze toward beast, her breathing still heavy from taking that hit, volumes of this hollow reiatsu began to condense right by the left side of her face, forming what might've looked like that of half of a full-face masquerade mask, though down the jaw rested the iconic sharpened teeth of a hollow's mask. Her eyes began to go black, her irises brightening to form that same golden color in those of Beast's eyes.

As her breathing was still heavy, she focused heavily on the man before her, her arms drooping down and her posture slouching a small amount. [smear:ff0000]"Snarky comeback?"[/smear:880000] She asked, her voice reverberating heavily, as though a different, more masculine voice had been overlaid on hers, [smear:ff0000]"I don't need any kind of comeback in order to back my strength. And trust me, I intend to keep good on my promise!"[/smear:880000] With her shouting finished, Camila immediately made use of a Shunpo in an attempt to close the distance between the two of them. From there, she'd enter a wanton frenzy of slashes with her Zanpakuto, moving as fast as she possibly could, with the last of these slashes being amped up with Shunpo Karin in an attempt to slash at the man diagonally across his chest.

There was a smile across Beast's face as his opponent went flying covered in burns. That was more like it. As she struggled to stand up, Beast landed on the ground and brandished his sword, threateningly spinning it with his now seven foot long hair. His hair was now long enough that he could form three braids of it with sufficient length to be useful. One braid held Bloeding Rand like a scorpion's tail over his head and two formed bulky arms of hair that looked like big meaty gorilla arms. His real arms crossed across his chest, the hair arms would be of more use to him than those. They were faster and stronger than he was.

While he hated to be so dependent on Grodd's Shikai powers, he was pleased at how he had used the twin Shikai in harmony this fight. The powers worked well together, the hair being like another stronger appendage with which to fling flaming leaf blades. And the Draakstaking was perfect with what was left of Grodd's Kidou. His control over the Shikai was getting to the point where he felt comfortable training to unite them in Bankai. His last attempt had failed horribly and had cost him his pride and his meal against Ken'ichi. This fight was going much differently. He was pleased, and was hungry...

When Camila screamed and let out the massive outpouring of reiatsu, Beast immediately sensed the Hollow presence in it. One like him. A trapped Hollow inside a Shinigami that was itching to come out and was taking possession of the host in its weakness. He remembered this occurrence against Kuroi Naito the Segunda Espada who had been attacking the Soul Society at the time, and remembered the humbling defeat he had suffered. But it had made him stronger. Kuroi had been able to keep his possession from ending long enough to form the Seal that kept Grodd chained in the burnt forest that was what was left of the Inner World there once was.

Beast looked at his right arm, the discolored arm. While the rest of his body was an ashen gray, this one was pure white with black Sanskrit tattoos and the image of a closed eye on the back of his hand. "I was like you once... Trapped inside the body of a weak Shinigami... I am reborn, a Hollow Wraith, with the power over my own destiny and the possession of this body." Camila/Albin rushed at him, slashing with great speed in rapid succession in rage. They were evenly matched, save for Camila/Albin's incredibly high cutting power. Beast was acutely aware of this deficit he had.

Instead of using his Zanpakutou to try and fail to deflect the blows, or winding up his hair to increase their durability, he aimed for the arms instead. Every time Camila/Albin slashed at him with the 400 speed attack, his hair moved at the same speed to intercept the attack by slapping her forearm and pushing the arm away. The Hakuda discipline of Mushi was something that Beast had mastered and while he had a great deal of superiority in physical strength against the Hollowfied Shinigami, he didn't have long before they went and did something different to catch him off guard. They had the same level of instincts, the same speed (well, the hair did), so Beast was focusing all his attention on keeping up his Tortoiseshell armor and blocking each attack at the arm instead of at the sword. This would cause each strike from Camila/Albin to hurt themselves, but negligibly due to their Pain Tolerance and Strength of Will.

When Camila/Albin used the Shunpo Karin, though, there was no stopping that. Beast couldn't do the same for his hair, so he took a violent slash to the chest. It only cut and hurt half as much as it should have, and only bled a tenth of what it should have, so while it was a very fast attack with a very high cutting spiritual pressure behind it, Beast wasn't fazed by it as much as he should have been. "My turn" Camila/Albin had unknowingly walked into a place they didn't want to be. Close to Beast.

All of a sudden blood would spray out as Beast relaxed his Tortoiseshell armor. No doubt doing something with her blood Shikai, but he didn't care. He simply aimed his right hand towards the Hollow and let out a burst of hair. It had been slowly coiling underneath his gauntlet, unable to be sensed or detected. Just growing, silently, passively. Camila/Albin was within melee distance of Beast, but these three braids of hair that were extending out were 16 feet long. They sprung out like snakes in a can, grabbing at the Vizard hopeful with their 600 strength. Wrapping around the body and pinning the arms to their side so they couldn't move to slash any further.

If successful, Beast would say, nearly breathlessly, "You've five seconds before I consume you for your energy to maintain my possession of this host..."

The force causes the enemy limb to shoot upwards, and force equivalent to their own strike to reverberate through the arm and cause damage.

Technique Name: Stil Roofdier (Silent Predator)

Technique Description and Effect: Stil Roofdier stands for Silent Predator, which describes the kind of hunter that stalks his prey without noise. This technique is activated passively when the Shikai is released. Hidden in between the skin of his hand and the bone plate over his fingers is very tightly coiled hair. This hair isn’t spiritual, so it cannot be sensed or seen. This hair simply grows, starting at one foot in length and doubling in size for each post that it remains wound.

At will, for a cost of 200 reiatsu, Beast can allow the hair to explode outwards in three braids per hand. These stop growing after being released, and cannot be rewound to increase the growth. He only gets one shot at it per release, and would have to completely seal and re-release his Shikai in order to gain access to it, a very costly choice. Once out, they possess the same strength and speed as Beast’s regular shikai hair.

Drawback: Large reiatsu cost, and the inability to perform it again. If used too soon, it can be weak, and if not used at all, it goes wasted. The hair is vulnerable to Fire when released.
