The memory of the time spent in Jem's Pill was hazy, at best, and Kazura hadn't written any of it down. It had been more of an escape the landscape created by Jem's programming than anything else. The scenes of Jem's creation and programming and history were something he wished he could have held onto better, but it had been a hectic escape, one that he would never like to relive. Even for science. "I'm sorry, I don't have any written notes on the subject of the Mod Soul Pill or the Reiatsu Orb. I haven't recorded my findings for others... well, ever, really. It's always been just me and the occasional inspiration from a colleague. It often comes from getting beaten up." Kazura chuckled, remembering his spar with Asmoskon as well as the recent carnage in Karakura General Hospital.
If only he had taken more equipment into the latter encounter, more lives could have been potentially saved. The media had handwaved the destruction of almost the entire building and the horror bug invasion as hallucinogenic gas having been released accidentally from a sewer leak followed by its detonation by faulty wiring in the hospital. Something that Uzaki Enterprises had stepped up to donate to. They were building a whole new hospital, state of the art, and sparing no expense in the contractor's quality. But enough of reminiscing on the past, Kazura returned his attention to Raph. The latter fullbringer made a comment about handling Lacrima in the right way, so Kazura wanted to show him how it felt to do it correctly.
He took a chunk of the crystal and gave it to Raph. Out of his pocket he removed a similar crystal, one that had been created by pure accident previously. "This is an item forged from Lacrima crafting. It is a Soul Storage Crystal. When it meets a sufficiently powerful soul, and raw reiatsu activates it, the soul is absorbed, sealed, and preserved." He handed that to Raph as well for him to examine. "The mask of the hollow I sealed into my skin with the Black Mark Seal technique, a handy one for smuggling spiritual equipment onto an airplane or similar. So I don't have to lug around gauntlets and rocket boots into a dinner party. It has the added benefit of preserving things like a Hollow's Mask."
When Raph revealed the Quincy's cross, bristling with energy, Kazura placed a hand on it and ran reiatsu made physical into the cross to Trace it. His eyes opened wide. "The Soul Storage crystal that you're holding was procured by using my own soul, in other words my raw reiatsu power, and I'd label that the baseline of Grade 1. The substance of a Hollow, rather than its mask, resonated at about double that, or Grade 2. This is so much more powerful than that. I'd have to label it Grade 4, just skipping 3. I don't think you could get a more powerful source of raw elementless energy." Kazura was extremely serious, and he pushed the cross and Raph's hand away from himself slightly. "Keep that, use it for your own purposes."
Kazura turned away slightly to look at the altar again, pointing away from the CPU etching device. He wanted to finish these circuitry so he could finish an Omni-watch MK II, but this was more important. "Here, let me show you again how to use the device. Start with placing the raw lump of Lacrima on it, then work on shaping it with Soul Command into a replica of the Soul Storage crystal I gave you. Seek to emulate its shape, form, and crevices. Make it hollow in both form and in Soul. When you are ready, place your hands on this spot and give it as much juice as you can muster, trying for about a quarter of your max reserves. Don't flood it too quickly, hold it back and let it ease in. When you're ready, flip that kick switch and let the energies harmonize with the Lacrima and forge a Soul Storage Crystal out of your own power." It was a lot of instruction, but instruction he was ready to regive and assist with if necessary.
