Shouyu was in a main courtyard within the eastern district of the Seireitei. The 5'8 teenage youth looking Captain stared intently into a small handbook. It was just a bit bigger than his palm, and his was fixated on a single page. With his right index finger, he was strumming along the lines of the writing, as if, intently focused on the information given. He was looking for directions of course. Today, he had hoped to find this Urahara's shop he had so much about. He adorned the traditional black and white shinobi garbs with a Captain's black on white top coat which he wore without the sleeves on. This left his arms freely in the typical shinigami outfit to strum through the pages of his little book.
He was looking all small combat items that could further increase the craftiness of his attack potency. Clearly from the outside, his furrowed brows and serious stare combined with a cocky grin, showed the youth was highly interested in something. As high as his senses were, he was too deeply lost in thought. His recent promotion to captaincy and adolescent charm gave way to a eagerly hyped childish behavior. He was not giving notice to the passerby's as he fumbled through the bustling crowd of the Seireitei. Some, of who were even trying to congratulate springtime of life was met with little to no response. They would laugh it off, figuring the pressures and responsibilities of captaincy was weighing down on the springtide. Yet this was not this case, his ambition and passions were flaring like an unstoppable wildfire.
His Zanpakuto rested at his left hip, wrapped in its intricately designed cloth which adorned his seemingly all black scabbard. His free hand held the pommel as he walked through bustling crowds. Occasionally, Shouyu would bump into some of the common citizens. In which event, Shouyu made sure to look away from his book and make eye contact with the person. He would slightly bow his head, but not enough to lose sight of anyone within his peripheral vision. Kindly, he would apologize and continue his path with that cocky smile staring into his book. Occasionally, the teenage looking captain will give out a nod or a "hmpf' in confirmation of the info he was reading.
