Irina wouldn't have any sort of issue getting one of the larva out of Yuri and into a cup. Perceiving it wouldn’t be hard although it didn’t really look any different than what someone would expect this sort of bug to be. When Irina took a picture of the bug and used Google to try and find any sort of information about it she, like thousands of humans across the globe would be left with the question. Why do I even bother this never works. Not a single match to what was inside the cup right now which left the both of them with very little to go on now. Kazura was right to rush over to the corpse to make sure that there weren’t any further larva inside of it, but for once his caution was unneeded as they had all grown into the bees that he had managed to eliminate.
Kazura would realize now that the reiatsu he was sensing inside the room was originating from the larva that they had found. So there wasn’t any real threat in the room at the moment that he could tell so long as they eliminated the larva before they could grow into the bee stage. Yuri began to wake up making small noises and opening her eyes a few moments later to see Irina over her. She didn’t speak right away, instead her facial expression was similar to someone on the verge of passing out from exhaustion almost like being awake was taking too much energy for her.
They would have about a minute to ask Yuri questions and if Irina was willing she could freeze the corpse, but after that minute Kazura would be able to pick up the sounds of rushing movement. Somewhere close people were running through hallways with a purpose. They weren’t coming right to the morgue, but they were close enough for him to know that someone else was going on now.

On seeing Yuri stir, Irina's eyes lit up. "Hey, how's it going?" she asked, tilting her head. In classic Irina fashion, she hit the detective with a barrage of questions. "What were those things? Have you ever seen anything like that? How did you hear about this? Are there more cases? Is-" Irina cut herself off. She was trying to work on her social skills. "I'm sorry, I'll start over. What can we do to help?"
Knowing that the insects that had infected the corpse was inactive, Irina left it alone. She wasn't yet worried about answering questions about this whole mess when it was over, but she figured the fewer strange, supernatural goings on, the better. "What do you want to do with these things?" Irina asked Kazura, gesturing to the sealed plastic cup. Clearly, they wouldn't be sending it to the pathology department.

"You're going to make her pass out again, Irina. Let her breathe." Having seen that the corpse didn't appear to have any further infestation and having seen that Yuri was okay enough to regain consciousness at least temporarily, Kazura took the minute of "peace" to simply focus on getting back to a normal mental state. Still in a fugue from having not slept well all week, he tried to focus on scanning through the autopsy report for any irregularities and oddities before he heard the sounds of rushing in the hallways. Something was going on and the minute he had to breathe and let Irina talk to Yuri was gone. The detective most likely wouldn't be awake for long, with that facial expression she was making, so Kazura moved towards her to try to help her the best he could. He removed some gauze from a cabinet and began wrapping her wounds as tenderly as possible with his proficient Healing Expertise.
"I need to go check out the commotion in the hallway. If you can, try to rest. Let us know when you're ready to answer Irina's many questions or if you just need to take it easy that's okay too. You are lucky to be alive, Yuri." First looking for a medical coat of some sort (that shouldn't be too difficult, being in a hospital morgue), Kazura attempted to appear like he belonged here with a doctor's authority. He had the knowledge to pull off the deception for a brief amount of time, so if he found that he'd continue. Moving quickly to the door of the morgue, Kazura opened it like he was supposed to be there to get a peek at what was happening on the other side. He wasn't being sneaky, he was acting with confidence. A false confidence at the moment, given everything that was weighing on his mind, but a pretense of one none the less.

Bombarded didn’t even really begin to explain how Yuri felt once Irina started asking her questions. Kazura was right to stop her from asking anymore as Yuri was starting to get light headed just from attempting to keep up and figure out the answers to such simple things. She took a moment and a fresh breath of air. “I’ve never seen them before. You probably know more than me honestly. I got stung almost right away and then next thing I know is what’s happening right now. This was the only case when I called though.”
Yuri didn’t say much else as it was obvious that it was taking a toll on what little energy she seemed to have at the moment. Irina wouldn’t have any sort of problem looking after her and now as Kazura moved out from the morgue he would see that the commotion was coming from virtually everywhere in the hospital. Individuals whether they be patiences of workers seemed to be screaming in terror for some unforeseen reason. A woman would pass Kazura by that was definitely a nurse giving him a moment to ask her what was going on if he wished. As for Irina well she would be fine, but after about thirty seconds she’d start to hear another new noise. It wasn’t buzzing like the bees, but more like crawling and would sound like it was below her somehow.

Yuri remained on the floor, which didn't look particularly comfortable or terribly clean, so Irina quietly helped her to a chair that probably belonged to the coroner. Plus, if they needed to move quickly, Irina figured, it would be easier to move Yuri from this position than if she stayed where she was. The quick footsteps outside the door were joined by yelling, and meanwhile, Irina started to hear a shuffling sort of sound below her. She hoped there was a basement under this floor. "This is probably fine," she assured herself and the detective aloud. "We'll get this sorted out in no time." Yuri didn't waste any energy by communicating other than rolling her eyes. "Well, just in case," Irina thought to herself as she fished her Fullbring, a decorative sword hilt, out of her bag.

Kazura let the nurse pass him as he glanced back into the morgue temporarily. "Irina, make sure to take care of those larvae somehow. Squish them or something. Careful for the acid, though." When he returned to the hallway, he took in all the pertinent information as to why people were screaming and running around. He remained as calm as possible, but the screaming was starting to raise his blood pressure and cause his heart to race. This felt like a nightmare of his, but in real life. In waking moments. Anxiety flooded his head as he tried to calm down, but the pressure in his chest from the anxious feelings clouded his thoughts. He took a moment to mentally reset, almost like shutting down and turning himself back on again, which would simply look like him closing his eyes and meditating for a moment. With how fast his brain processed, it wouldn't take long for him to get back up and running again.
Moving towards the sound of the screaming, against his better judgement, he looked for what was going on. He extended his Energy Sensory as best he could and kept an eye out for everything in his area. Activating Push to get more of an opportunity to react to things, he opened his awareness by an extra two inches. While that may not seem like much, with his level of Instincts he could get a lot done in the time it takes something to travel an extra two inches. Something beneath the floor would have a harder time surprising him from below, something on the floor above would have trouble crashing down on him successfully, and things through rooms in the walls would struggle as well to surprise him.
Armed with as much knowledge as he could have, he moved down the hallway ready to take on whatever creatures were causing this craziness.

This definitely wasn’t something that anyone in the hospital had experienced in the past nor was it anything that anyone likely would have. Kazura would notice what was causing virtually the entire hospital to scream in horror at about the same time as Irina. Turning around a corner Kazura would get a good angle on a vent in the ceiling. Working from the ceiling through the vent and then down to the floor we’re hundreds of small insects that were black in color. Irina would be able to see the same disgusting things moving up from the drain pipe in the morgue only a few feet from her. Moving almost like maggots with a purpose these insects suddenly stopped. No action was taken towards either Irina or Kazura while the screaming continued throughout the halls. It would be easy to piece together now that these bugs seemingly invading the hospital walls and vents was causing all the fear from everyday normal people. Wait though! That meant that these bugs could be seen by the spiritually unaware!
The bugs in the morgue with Irina out of nowhere began to burst apart essentially popping themselves somehow. After a few moments of completely gross visuals the flesh and liquid of all the insects took the shape of a puddle on the floor. A few ripples would be seen and Yuri continued now to fight to stay awake staring at the puddle. “So you’re the one that killed all my babies. You’ve made a big mistake. Those who cross paths with an insect are destined to be food.” The puddle was literally speaking in a dark voice that gave off no hint of gender.
As for what was going on with Kazura well the insects in front of him didn’t pop instead moving over towards the wall furthest away from him. Kazura likely wouldn’t know what was going on, but the insects were now being sent a signal far different than before. They had been sent to find out what was keeping the bees so long now they had found out. So it was time for the bugs to do the job that the bees were meant for. Kill all of the citizens inside the hospital!

A puddle was talking to Irina. That was a first. Naturally, she activated her Fullbring, and began slicing into it. Irina's ice sword grew out of the empty hilt, and Irina willed a two-foot icicle to grow out of the tip. She knew the ice would freeze most substances about an inch from anywhere the icicle touched, so, standing as far away as possible from the blob, she sliced at it repeatedly, making a grid of slices 2 inches apart. If it was anything made of regular bug cells, Irina was confident that would finish it off, but she was also pretty confident that this was no regular puddle. Regular puddles, obviously, do not talk. She did not dignify the puddle by verbally responding to it.

Kazura sensed Irina's Fullbring being released and while he wanted to go back to see what was going on, he was staring down a horde of bugs coming out of the vents in the walls that was causing mass hysteria. Not to mention they appeared to be heading towards groups of people intending to do harm. Irina could take care of herself, Kazura decided, and he grabbed onto his belt underneath the doctor's coat and transformed his own Fullbring. He moved through the Incomplete version and didn't stay long, landing on the Completed Main Fullbring taking the form of his iron armor. That would give him a sense of anonymity as he moved through the building to do his best to save the people from these insects.
In his Completed Fullbring stage, Kazura had a lot of power, but also gave off a lot of reiatsu. He was hoping this attracted the bugs towards him, but wasn't convinced releasing was going to solve all of his problems in the Hospital. No, he'd have to eradicate them as he moved through the building. He hadn't brought any of his equipment with him save for his Fullbring when he left the office, partly because he wasn't in a good frame of mind and partly because he wasn't expecting the initial meeting with Yuri to come to this. He would need to create what he needed with his talent at Crafting and his natural Fullbring abilities.
Stepping forward with Movement towards the far wall where he could see the bugs heading, he formed a flyswatter out of pure reiatsu using his Complete Fullbring's "Creations Evolved" property. Was he proficient with said flyswatter? No, but how hard could it be to swing a stick at a wall and squash some bugs? With his cutting power currently at 1,000 he shouldn't have a lot of difficulty in getting through any exoskeleton that the bugs had to squish them completely to the wall and hopefully not burn himself with any acid blood they may have in the process. He flailed at the bugs, trying to squash as many of them up against the wall as possible. There were a lot of them and he hoped that squishing them would attract more attention from more of them to keep the citizens of the hospital safe.

Irina definitely wasn’t the kind of girl to let things have a chance against her it seemed. Releasing her Fullbring almost right away which may have seemed like the correct thing to do or perhaps it just didn’t seem like it would matter much when there was a puddle literally speaking to her, but regardless in war information is key. She was correct though the puddle couldn’t stand up to the might of her Fullbring as it was frozen and then shattered ending whatever had been going on with it. Now there was a different problem though Irina had acted almost right away and shown her Fullbring. Neither her nor Kazura would be able to sense it yet, but already the source of these insects was moving in on them all and Irina was believed to be the one stopping the spread.
“Irina, you need to help Kazura. I don’t like it, but I can’t help you right now. Put me into one of the draws and freeze over the front. The bugs won’t be able to get me once you do that . . . I hope. Just make sure you come back for me after.” Yuri spoke with as much energy as she could muster although it was apparent she didn’t have anything left. Sweat was breaking out across her forehead as she struggled to finish what she was telling Irina. This woman couldn’t fight if even speaking was an issue so did Irina have much other choice than her suggestion? She’d have to decide quickly as the ground began to shake in the morgue. Insects were obviously coming once again, but this time it was something much bigger.
IT would take only about half a minute before the morgue floor burst apart revealing a massive worm like bug with black armored skin. It didn’t have any sort of head nor limbs, just a wiggly hard body with a massive mouth in the front filled with teeth the size of a shortsword. Wiggling a few times the creature got its bearings and would then turn to Irina. Roaring like some sort of demented lion the creature sip out a ball of green liquid the size of a volleyball at Irina. It would quickly follow up rushing her with every intention of biting into her legs.
As for what was happening more so in the main part of the hospital well Kazura definitely wasn’t holding anything back. Going right through the first stage of his Fullbring and into the second where his true power was more than apparent. The insects that he could see had no chance as he rushed towards them and reduced all of them to little more than liquid against the wall. There was an issue though that much couldn’t be questioned as thousands upon thousands of the insects began to swarm through the hospital just like Kazura had hoped. The only issue now was that in less than a minute just about the same time that the worm would be attacking Irina the enter room that Kazura was standing in would be in complete darkness.
So many insects seemingly seeping through vents and walls until virtually every spot in the room was covered. Even the lights in the ceiling were concealed reducing the vision in the room quite a bit. Such a tactical move though would definitely come off as strange from some bugs though. It wouldn’t matter all that much though as the bugs began to glow. Kazura would likely have some method to deal with a good portion of the insects however, would he be able to get rid of them all. This glowing was a warning signal that every single one of them was about to explode. Tiny little pieces of C4 that were about to go off no doubt leveling not just this room , but potentially the entire hospital. Could the leader of UD handle this situation?

"I...you want me to shut you in the cooler for the bodies?" Irina asked for clarification, looking at Yuri sideways. Even if there was enough room to breathe in there (and she wasn't confident there was; it wasn't exactly designed for that), Irina was sure it wasn't healthy to hang out in a refrigerator for too long. She agreed, though, that she should probably rejoin Kazura, so Irina proposed a compromise: she would lock Yuri in a closet. There should be plenty of air there, and it was a reasonable temperature.
Now to barricade Yuri in there somehow. Irina used Yuri's idea: She produced two icicles from her sword, and willed those to branch into a tree of sorts, crossing over each other and blocking the door. The ice branched into ten icicles total, each with a durability of 435. Before Irina had time to admire her handiwork, a huge worm burst through the floor, apparently finding Irina either threatening, or tasty. The smaller insects hadn't seemed to tolerate cold well, so Irina cast a blast of snow at it from her hand. The snow blast, the size of a bucket of water and moving at 300 stat speed and 200 strength, was aimed at the beast's head. Hopefully that would at least disorient it, and if needed, she would slash it with her sword. Irina preferred to stay a little farther from the creature if she could, but she would get close enough to try to cut it if she had to. If she was able to disable the worm, Irina would run off to locate Kazura.

Kazura had attracted a lot of bugs, and with his instincts he could discern that something was about to be very wrong as they coated the entirety of the walls, floors, and ceiling around him. With just a glance he discerned that there was something different about the way they were acting, and as soon as they started to glow with a threatening light he understood that they were going to explode. He acted quickly, gathering up all of his mental fortitude and Willpower into as much spiritual force as possible while forming his right arm into his Secondary Fullbring's released state. The solid titanium limb exuded a cloud of nanobots, capable of consuming inorganic material and shaping it to his own personal use that could be imbued with his Spiritual Pressure in durability and offensive power. With Gate being used, his inorganic constructs could have a durability of 2,000.
He didn't have much time to act before the bugs went off and blew most of the building's supports to kingdom come. He directed his nanobots with a mental command. "Gather material, surround bugs, squish, leave just enough surrounding, repeat." He had never tried to give the AI in the bots a series of commands like this before, so he had to trust in their programming as he continued to act independently of them. The nanobots would eat through all of the inorganic material in the room, including the hospital beds, the chairs, and the vitals monitors and surround the bugs in basketball sized clumps. Then they'd squish the bugs and remain there, holding the bombs into a grip with 2,000 Durability.
That would only get clumps of bugs that were basketball sized, though. There was a whole room full of bugs to deal with. As the nanobots compressed and needed less space, some of them would divert into more material and repeat the process until all of Kazura's nanobots were holding a grip around a basketball sized group of bugs in a marble sized compressed amount of material with high durability. This would hopefully take care of a lot of the bugs, but Kazura was acting independently of the nanobots and their programming to take care of more bugs at the same time. Gathering up all of his measly Reiatsu Strength, even with Gate, he summoned four spears of Aisusupia and threw them at the walls. Having Mastered the technique, he willed the explosions of freezing ice shards to burst in a flat plane.
This flat plane was aimed to take out most of an entire wall at a time with piercing shards that would freeze the threatening bugs. The explosions would hopefully cut through the bugs and freeze them over before they could explode. The aim of the flattened explosion was to eliminate just the bugs coating the walls without damaging much of the wall or exploding into the room and interrupting Kazura's nanobots movements. If any of the shards managed to get loose and hit Kazura, it wouldn't go through his armor at all, but he attempted to get the explosions as flat as possible to only hit the bugs and not worry about hitting himself or any of the rest of the room. It was all very taxing on Kazura's stamina to keep up both his Completed and Secondary Fullbrings, and while the nanobots acted of their own accord without him having to mentally control them, using Gate at the same time as four Aisusupias was hitting him hard in stamina.
He dropped to his knee in exhaustion, partly from the lack of sleep and majorly from the exertion. Now all he could do was wait for the bugs to explode and hope that his nanobots could contain most of the explosion. While he assumed that they wouldn't pierce his highly durable armor, he couldn't say the same for the hospital walls...

“Yes I know it’s gross and probably not healthy, but is there any other way?” Well turned out that Irina did in fact think of a different way to protect Yuri that would allow her to leave and go help Kazura. Whether or not this one would protect her as well as the other couldn’t be known nor would either ever find out. Yuri wasn’t the target whether either of them knew it or not. Now she was safely held behind some of Irina’s ice and wouldn’t need to worry about accidentally getting her killed. Now as the worm burst through the floor and began its targeting of Irina the young woman made sure to show that she wasn’t to be taken lightly.
This worm though wasn’t like the other bugs that they had seen so far. The bees were an experiment whereas this worm had been tested and improved upon by whoever was leading them. It should be obvious to Irina and Kazura at this point. These insects weren’t attacking this hospital randomly. Someone was commanding them to do it. The snow blast that Irina sent out covered the worm’s head turning into ice around it causing it to thrash for a moment. This gave Irina enough time to rush in and slash at the worm with her Fullbring. Irina would feel the resistance of the armor like skin though. Her Fullbring barely even scratched it! Instantly she’d hear the sound of the ice shattered from around the Worm’s head as it opened its mouth. Whipping the portion of its body out from the floor now in an attempt to bash Irina this worm was angry.
As for what was happening on Kazura’s front of the battle . . . well he hadn’t gotten lucky when recruiting spiritually entities. Kazura proved that he was a threat to whoever was targeting them. Managing to eliminate hundreds of bug bombs before they could detonate. After a few more moments though the room would blow! A large explosion that left the walls dark and crumbling. The room itself was ruined and barely holding together, but Kazura had managed to save the supports meaning that while there was a good chance at any moment the floor above could fall down into this one, the hospital itself was saved.
He’d have a few moments to catch his breath until the next issue presented itself. He’d likely be able to hear the sound of the worm thrashing about in the morgue, but wouldn’t have enough time to investigate. Coming around the corners of the room were three separate insects that all looked identical. Things that didn’t even seem possible, dark armored skin with pincers on the front of their heads. Walking across the floor similar to a canine or feline yet obviously insectoid. Whatever these things were they weren’t natural and Kazura would be able to tell as much easily.
Around the same size as a husky dog the insects enclosed on Kazura utilizing pack tactics similar to wolves. It wouldn’t be more than another few moments when they rushed. Two positioned to attack the back of Kazura’s legs grabbing him between their pincers and pulling backwards to take him off his feet. The one that was in front set to leap at Kazura. It was determined to smash into his helmet for whatever reason. If successful or not though these insects would begin to claw and pinch at Kazura.
(The Battle-Bugs pincers are special as they clunch at a force of 2x the strength, the usual strength of everything else the bugs have to offer.)
Post by Irina Davayte on Oct 25, 2020 23:01:08 GMT -5
Irina decided that maybe it was time to change tactics. Two different types of insects had come after them, and that was too many to be a coincidence. "Hello there, giant worm," she said, backing away from it, keeping her sword between them. "What's this all about? Can I help you with something? I'm getting concerned about all the people in here." Sure, she felt absolutely crazy talking to a giant worm thing, but maybe there was something or someone who could understand her behind this. Anyway, it couldn't hurt, she figured. She backed herself toward the door, ready to duck if it tried to spit anything at her again. "Do you mind if I just-" What was she thinking? The worm wasn't going to talk to her. Thinking about all the people in the hospital, Irina pulled the fire alarm on the wall. It definitely seemed like those around this area would know that they should be evacuating, but she didn't know about the rest of the hospital. How large was this disaster?
Post by Kazura Uzaki on Oct 25, 2020 23:22:29 GMT -5
Kazura, while very tired already from the exertion, felt intense shame as he didn't manage to get all of the bomb bugs, even with the massive amount of energy he had given up in trying. What's the point... in trying... if I can't save everyone... While he had managed to keep the supports of the room standing so the whole building wouldn't collapse, the floor above looked weak. Repair the walls He directed the majority of his nanobots to grab whatever blasted materials they could find, including material from the floor and ground beneath if necessary to construct new walls. Meanwhile, the fire alarm went off and these giant insects closed in on him. Mentally controlling what little nanobots he had saved for himself, he gave them a different command. Build me a sword
They grabbed what they could from the materials that had withstood the blast from the bomb bugs, mainly metal from the hospital bed and electronics that had been consumed. They quickly formed a saber that he could hold in one hand and fortified it with his Spiritual Pressure as its durability and cutting power. They would be suspended in the metal, unable to be used for anything else but would be strong enough to let him attack these battle bugs. Not wanting to expend any more of his reiatsu than necessary, he relied on his brute force to carry him through. They demonstrated speed slightly faster than him, so he would need superior skill than they had and a really really sharp sword. He jumped forwards with Movement to guarantee that he could get a hit in, sliding his sword through the open pincers of the dog sized insect and attempting to cleave the first one clear in half from the head down to the tail.
