Name: Ailene Haschiro
Age of Death/Rebirth: 26/27
Real Age/Age of Appearance: 691/25
Birthday (Month/Day): February 24th
Blood Type: A+
Face Claim: Haku [Naruto]
[smear:931aed]Appearance[/smear:4e0c7e]
Height/Weight: 5'7"/126 lbs
Physical Description: Ailene stands at a height of 5'7". Despite being of a somewhat thinner build, she certainly does not borderline underweight. Ailene has long black hair and her eyes have a dark brown hue. Her hair is normally kept up by a white bun holder on the back of her head while two thick and long locks of hair to fall before her face. Her overall appearance is on the androgynous end although she does have very minor breast growth and other feminine features.
Typically, Ailene the Espada robes that are white in color. Ailene's are a little different, however. For one, Ailene's robes appear more like those of a white scholarly outfit or a mages robes in fantasy. They are kept as pristine as possible. On the side of her robes, she normally keeps a satchel with small novels in them to read them intermittently. It should be noted that much like her predecessor, Ailene chooses not to wear shoes, often walking around barefoot though it never bothers her.
Ailene's hollow-features are very distinct. For one, her hollow hole is in the middle of her stomach around her gut. Naturally the Hollow-hole creates a gap in her gut. As an Espada, the denotion of her number, 9, is on the side of her waist. It's not too large, but it is definitely noticeable if her robes were torn. Ailene's hollow mask is a little more unique. It appears on her forehead and takes the shape of a headband. In that sense, it almost likes like a protective covering for her forehead.
Ailene's facial features despite being androgynous are often regarded as being more feminine. Beautiful spaced eyebrows and long eyelashes adore her eyes. She has a little bit of a smaller mouth and nose, but defined cheekbones and in a way, she has a facial structure. This is why some see her as female at a first glace, but oftentimes they actually cannot determine her exact gender. Overall, she has somewhat tan skin and has a rather beautiful outward appearance especially in her Espada robes.
Ailene's resurreccion appearance is somewhat unorthodox. Many Arrancar maintain a somewhat humanoid appearance with appendages depending on their resurreccion. Even the less humanoid ones are still able to be identified as an Arrancar release. Ailene, however, assumes a very bestial form. One could say that she appears and acts much more like a Hollow in her resurreccion. The only thing to separate her and Hollows is the fact that she does not manifest a hollow mask in her resurreccion.
After calling out her release phrase for her Zanpakutou, Ailene digs it into the ground before the ground before it promptly and seemingly fades to dust, blowing away in the wind. Almost immediately after this, a dark orb forms around her, seemingly enveloping her and swallowing her whole in the darkness. In this orb is where Ailene's form changes into that of her resurreccion. Slowly crawling out of it, she then is ready to fight in her imposing resurreccion along with a frightening appearance.
Ailene's appearance is more likened to that of a wyvern, more specifically, the Gore Magala. To start out, this form begins when Ailene releases and is enveloped within a dark sphere. From this sphere, Ailene emerges in their resurreccion. This new form has dark purple scales, wing-like appendages that have feathers that appear to be more like a shroud of purple fur. These are inactive when first releasing. It should be noted that these dark purple scales seem to also have a mist about them.
While released, Ailene's size increases to a length of 15 ft. Their wingspan becomes 26 ft which effectively allows them to drape themselves with their wings appearing somewhat like a cloak. Unlike the form that this is based off of, Ailene does have eyes and can see. The roar that Ailene has while in this form has an eerie tone to it. In fact it sounds like a mixture of screaming and wailing in pain. Overall, it is just an unsettling sound. The scale like hide of Ailene appears firm and strong.
Due to being a Soul Specialist, Ailene becomes stronger as they continue on in their resurreccion. Due to this, only when Ailene reaches full strength is the true form of Gore Magala revealed. Ailene's wings become usable for flight and can separate them from the body revealing the appendages. The beast in fact has 6 limps, but moves on all 4s. Additionally, Ailene's head now gains purple horns that glow an eerie color. This also allows the wings that have claw-like appendages to be used as weapons.
[smear:931aed]Personality[/smear:4e0c7e]
{Dislikes}Hollows - The dislike of Hollows mainly comes from the mindlessness and absolute insanity that they represent. While Hollows can very much be intelligent and cunning, it is still a more common trait to see them be bloodthirsty and driven by an endless hunger that consumes the Hollow itself and leads it down a path of blood and hatred.
Shinigami - This dislike of Shinigami is interesting. Ailene has no inherent problem with Shinigami themselves, but moreso the greater system under which they operate. The corruptness of the Gotei 13 and the want to remove all Hollows off of the face of this earth. While it is true that they do purify Hollows which is far better than Quincy, Ailene just doesn't like how they try to act as the universal police.
Her Resurreccion - The Resurreccion of Ailene's Zanpakutou, Ausbruch, is something that Ailene genuinely dislikes only because of what it turns them into. To be more exact, the personality that they take on. While still semi-intelligent, the personality is murderous, wanting and just outright destructive. It also lacks the same conversation skills that Ailene has.
Brutes - This semi relates to Ailene's enjoyment of etiquette. It seems that brutes simply have none. Atleast if they do, it seems that they think mostly with their body than anything. There is no positive thing to come out of not using your head and rushing into things without a plan according to Ailene. It is for this reasons that she naturally has a negative predisposition to these types of folk.
Quincy - Very much like Shinigami, it seems that Quincy just want to eradicate all Hollows because it suits them. This is something that Ailene simply cannot stand and they will try to kill any Quincy if it means their endangerment or the endangerment of someone that the Espada cares about. This does include other Espada and other races that Ailene has taken a fondness to.
Healthcare - If Ailene enjoys the spreading of bacteria and viruses along with watching bacteria just outright take over the bodies of their enemies and other victims, then why would Ailene enjoy the healthcare system? In fact, Ailene is not very fond of the healthcare system due to this. They cure something that Ailene feels should just be left to its own devices. Let nature take its course. Though she dislikes healthcare, she can admire the rigorous nature of the education.
Interruptions - This once again extends to this idea of etiquette that the Arrancar has. Being a rather polite person, Ailene hates it when they or anyone else is interrupted. In fact, it gets under their skin as much as any other topic on their many dislikes. In fact, this is by far one of their most annoying pet peeves that they will be very vocal about it.
Zanpakutou - This is a bit of weird one, as it is not their Zanpakutou that the Arrancar dislikes, but instead the Zanpakutou of Shinigami. In Ailene's eyes, the Zanpakutou of a Shinigami gives them a companion. When Kazuna and Eleana fused into a single being that resulted in Ailene, most of the memories and personalities of those two former Arrancar were given a new form. Ailene will never have something similar to a permanent partner like a Shinigami does.

Ailene will never have something similar to a permanent partner like a Shinigami does.
{Likes}Pestilence - This one should be rather clear after understanding just how Ailene's power functions. Ailene uses a form of Yersinia pestis that they generate within their body and share somewhat of a symbiotic relationship with. Ailene spreads these disease and allows it to proliferate while the Arrancar themself does not actually suffer any negative effects from the potentially lethal pathogen itself.
Germany - Despite growing up in Germany during a time in which it is radically different than during their time alive, still shares a deep love of Germany. They consider themselves fortunate to have access to the Garganta that allows them to travel there and visit whenever they like. Overall, it just lets them enjoy reminiscing in the past, even though their memories are just an amalgamation of two people's memories.
Literature - As a scholar and researcher, Ailene just outright enjoys the beauty of literature and reading. By far, one of their favorite things is to get lost in the text and almost come out of a trance-like state whenever they are done reading. Outside of books, they also enjoy medical journals and other such literature that allows them to understand the modern world far more.
Espada - As a member of the Espada, Ailene holds a great deal of respect for their comrades and wants nothing more than to see their group flourish and succeed. The only grip she does have with this group is that they often turn to violence and lack of talking more than anything. Unfortunately, their people have garnered a lot of hate from all manner of races.
Kouhai - As the superior of the Espada and the de facto King of Hueco Mundo and Las Noches, Ailene has a lot of respect for Kouhai in the sense that he was able to gain all that he has now through his own perseverance and wants. In a way it is really something to be admired and a characteristic to strive for. Despite all this though, Ailene dislikes just how secluded he is.
Epidemiology - Tying back to their love of pestilence, Ailene has a certain fascination with epidemiology. To understand just how viruses, bacteria and other pathogens work and interact with the environment. To see mutation unravel before their very eyes and having a power that brings out the Bubonic Plague in all living things, it makes Ailene even more fond of this study of pathogens.
Fullbringer - Despite being enemies of Hueco Mundo, Ailene has a certain fondness of Fullbringer. The children of mothers who had survived a Hollow attack. There is something to be said about the tenacity of not only the mother, but the residual spiritual pressure within the Fullbringers that make them more like Hollow than Soul Reaper. it is something about it that just makes Ailene so interested.
Etiquette - As an experienced conversationalist and overall enjoyment of talking to others, Ailene does just adore people to adhere to common etiquette while eating, talking and so on. It is the exact reason that she can't stand those that would throw away old traditions simply because it does not suit them or is simply inconvenient.

It is the exact reason that she can't stand those that would throw away old traditions simply because it does not suit them or is simply inconvenient.
{Flaws}Amnesia - This is a little bit of an odd development due to the fusing of two souls. Ailene acts as a separate agent from Kazuna or Eleana and as such, they suffer complete and utter amnesia about the lives of the two that they originated from. In fact, the only thing that Ailene knows is that one of their parts as the Noveno Espada and that they came from two people.
Vindictive - Ailene is unfortunately a very vindictive person. As someone who appreciates others to practice proper etiquette, Ailene can be rather nasty to others if they do not align with the things that Ailena likes and align with the things that Ailena dislikes. While they will never engage in open combat with someone over this, the salt in their voice can be heard.
Trouble Making Friends = Being insecure and vindictive can make it difficult to make friends. Especially being an Arrancar who are almost unanimously disliked by other races, Ailena just wants to have a good conversation with others, but can have severe difficulties when it comes to actually getting it started.
Resurreccion Personality - This ties back to the fear of losing themselves. In fact, the personality of the Resurreccion state is one big problem as it does not discriminate between friend or foe. A morsel is a morsel so why should Ailene care who it was before they enter this state of increased aggression and ability.
Insecurity - As mentioned countless times before, Ailene is a very insecure person. So much so that they doubt their own ability and even more so just feel alienated from everyone. Someone can be the nicest person to them and they will still feel as though they are only pretending to be nice to Ailena. It can become a pretty severe problem as they become awfully mistrusting of others' good intentions.

{Habits}Maintaing conversations - Ailene has a rather nasty habit of going on and on when it comes to a topic they rather thoroughly enjoy. This can be annoying to others as it makes them rather difficult to talk to. After all, Ailene could be going on about the same topic for hours on end and there are very few people who can effectively handle it.
Use of medical jargon - This is another habit of theirs that more relates to their new likes of epidemiology and pestilence. After all, to understand these topics, one must be very well versed in the use of medical terminology and jargon. Overall they will use terms that most would not go out of their way to use if they can.
Being nice and tidy - It should be said that Ailene despite being the manifestation of Yersinia pestis, the bubonic plague itself is actually a rather neat person. They like to have a clean uniform, a nice and tidy work and environment and just overall enjoy to be free of messes. Quite ironic for someone who literally represents disease.
Bookworm - This is yet another a nasty habit that Ailene has. They thoroughly enjoy reading and do to this, most of their time is spent in books such as medical journals, anthologies of poetry and literature, historical books, anything that they can get their hands on. It is actually rather difficult to get them out of this as they enter a sort of trance.

{Fears}Losing themselves - This more ties to the Espada's Resurreccion personality. This is because when releasing their Primera Etapa, Ailene becomes very murderous, with a ravenous hunger very much like a Hollow. In fact, their body is not even humanoid in Primera Etapa and looks very much like Gore Magala from Monster Hunter.
Being disliked - Ailene is unfortunately a very insecure person despite being one of the Espada. They have this odd fear of feeling that people are talking about them behind their back whenever they are not involved in a conversation. This does make it a little difficult for them to trust others as they have this natural mistrust of others.
Splitting back into two - This is an odd fear because Ailene originates from the two siblings, Kazuna and Eleana joining together and becoming a single entity. Much like the opposite of a Fractured splitting into two souls, the two formed to make a completely unique individuals with their own wants and needs. This in turn gives them this irrational fear of turning back into two and ceasing to exist.
Excessive Violence - A little ironic for the literal manifestation of the Bubonic plague, Yersinia pestis, to fear excessive violence. This is partly due to them fearing extreme violence in the form of blades or other weaponry. Violence or gore that is caused by disease is a little different and in fact, they see it as completely natural.

{Goals}Move up in the Espada - This is a rather interesting goal as this requires Ailena to look past their insecurity and seek new and higher positions. It could also mean requiring the usurping and potentially killing of another Espada. While this is counter-intuitive to the nature of the overall goal of wanting the Espada to flourish, Ailene understands that they need to move up for more influence.
Find out more about their past - As mentioned before, Ailena suffered a sudden amnesia from being formed from two souls. This in turn has left massive gaps in their memory which they cannot remember anything from the past lives of the two who formed them outside of very minor details that are all just one big puzzle. They would like to know who originally made them.
Attend a University Class - This one is a little odd, her being an Arrancar and all. Ailene loves to learn and as such the idea of actually sitting in a class and learning about all manner of subjects from biology to astrology to her favorite, epidemiology fills her with all manner of excitement. In fact, it could be said that she truly cannot get enough. Learning and studying is her passion and she would give anything to sit in a university class and contribute anything she could.

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Aspect of Death: Pestilence
Overall Personality: Ailene is for all intents and purposes, a very non-aggressive Espada. Hell, a non-aggressive Arrancar. At the top of her pyramid of values is the idea of good conversation. In fact, in most conflicts, Ailene will resort to therapeutic communication and non-aggressive gestures to try and display that she means no harm, although she very much has the potential to do so. Ailene can overall be described as a mediator as there is nothing outside of her studies that she enjoys more than a good conversation.
Ailene could be described as incredibly patient. In both battle and beyond, she exercises not only extreme caution, but also carries the virtue that patience is a virtue. She dislikes pushy people and others who would force options on people if it is not going fast enough for them. This is admittedly one of her biggest pet peeves and she will act very aggressive to those who try to push her or others into situations that they have not thought out completely. Ailene likes to have a calm and clear head.
At her very core, Ailene is a scholar. A researcher and avid reader. In fact if she were alive and in the human world, she would most likely pursue epidemiology as that is where most of her interest lies. If others saw her room, it would be filled with novels, medical journals and studies on disease spread in the 14th century. Only those that knew Ailene closely could deduce as to why she has such a profound and powerful interest in these topics. After all, not many would know her from the former Noveno Espada who now makes up a half of Ailene.
Relationships is a topic that Ailene has a fickle history with. On one end, she loves to connect with others. She adores the idea of not only getting to know others better, but share ideas and differing philosophies that may educate her more. On the other hand, however, Ailene is a rather insecure individual and oftentimes places far too much value in what people may think of her rather than their actual opinion. Her imagination can go wild and she can form various ideas about how others may feel about her. Oftentimes, it's just her paranoia though.
Ailene's personality and demeanor admittedly do not change much while she is engaged in the ring of honor. Assuming that healthy communication and diplomacy are still options, Ailene will choose to pursue those. However, if all else fails and Ailene is forced to engage in combat, she will assume a defensive demeanor. She is not usually the one to strike first, but when she does strike, she can be exceedingly cruel. Additionally, she feels strong senses of comradery.
It is interesting because this compassion and mercy can extend to opponents. If the enemy seems to weak to defend themselves, Ailene will not strike them down. Instead she has been known for ferrying them off to safe places and going as far as to protect them. Within the Espada, Ailene is certainly an interesting phenomenon. She is capable of great compassion and mercy. She can, however, also be ruthless, sadistic and torturous if need be. She knows where to draw the line.
It should be noted that while sealed, Ailene is a pretty sociable Arrancar while not possessing much hate or ill will for others. This all changes in her Resurrreccion. In fact, her resurreccion is what Ailene sometimes fears most. The sociable and sweet Arrancar becomes a cruel and vicious killer that is hell bent on obtaining its next meal. This is why Ailene appears much more hollow like while released. While sealed, Ailene is on the weaker end, most likely not able to contend with even an Unseated Officer. In her released state, however, Ailene has the potential to go toe to toe with much stronger opponents.
While released, Ailene not only becomes violent, but very instinctual. Friends and foes are, but blurry concepts to her and she will view anything that gets too close and too quickly at that as a very serious threat. As such she will respond in kind. The final thing that should be noted is that while released, Ailene speaks in very short and vague phrases. It's more like a beast trying to communicate after hearing human speech. She keeps her raw intelligence, but coupled with bestial instinct, she chooses not to waste too much energy on coherent sentence structure.
[smear:931aed]Powers[/smear:4e0c7e]
Fighting Style: Ailene has a fighting style that changes based on her state and the situation. To start with, Ailene has a very formidable spiritual ability. Her preferred way of dealing at a range involves using bala. With its speed and kinetic impact, it is ideal for Ailene as her Cero can threaten to wash over her target and burn it to a cinder. Even in her sealed state, her spiritual ability is nothing to scoff at. As such, she assumes a very aggressive style when it comes to her use of techniques like Cero or Bala.
Past that, Ailene has access to several other abilities that help her fight at a distance. Among these is Cero Lightning while allows her to discharge electricity at her opponent, Bala Obscuras which essentially acts as an amped up version of her normal bala. As with her regular bala, this is a personal favorite of Ailene even despite the blood price and the devastating effect it can have on her target. Normally those she fights are resilient enough to take one head on, but they are quite a bit worse for wear afterwards.
When Ailene truly needs to get serious, she has access to one of the most devastating moves in the Espada arsenal. The Gran Ray Cero which despite also requiring a price in blood, has the capability to utterly annihilate whatever Ailene is facing. In truth, she uses the Gran Ray Cero on rare occasion. It's taxing reiatsu cost and destructive potential makes it less than ideal for when Ailene is just looking to incapacitate her opponent. That's the key to her style. She rarely for a lethal blow unless there is absolutely no way that her opponent will choose to spare her or show mercy themselves.
Due to her high density reiatsu, Ailene has an extremely powerful Hierro. As such, especially in her released state, Ailene is capable of just taking hits. Most times, the opponents spiritual strength will not be able to contend with enormous Hierro she has. Despite the Hierro weakening over the course of a battle, Ailene can still make rather effective use of it depending on the opponent. Overall, her Hierro provides her with an excellent defense when she really has no way of avoiding something.
With her Zanpakutou, Ausbruch, Ailene can certainly hold her own. While her swordplay is far from excellent, centuries of experiences have allowed the Espada to assume a very defensive style. She will often wait for others to come to her. Ailene is the type of individual to fight on her terms, not on her opponents. Often going for parrying blows and ripostes, her natural understanding of anatomy due to copious studying has allowed her to isolate tendons and various other weak points to disable her opponent.
Naturally with her high spiritual ability, Ailene's blade is extremely sharp and able to cut very efficiently. This allows Ailene to certainly deal a killing blow if she needs to although she simply chooses not to. In general, her style revolves around simple bladework with parries and ripostes, but with the ability to very easily cut at the vital spots of her opponent coupled with an extremely sharp edge, she can make short work of anyone who stands in her way if she so wishes.
Ailene's released state is by far her most aggressive state. The bestial instinct and nature causes Ailene to assume an extremely offensive fighting style. Ailene is by far at her best when she is close by her opponent. The cloud of miasma she creates is able infect her opponent and build up the bacterium that matures inside of them. It is a very insidious fighting style as her razor sharp claws and teeth allow her to not only bisect and tear anything they touch to shreds, but it also allows her to crush bone with ease.
When at her full power, Ailene is able to become even more aggressive in her fighting style by being able to take to the skies. The benefit of having usable wings allows her to not only assume temporary flight, but it also allows her to swoop down with the claw-like appendages that are on her wings as well. This in turn allows her to create an air superiority. From her maw, Ailene is also able to discharge techniques like Cero, Bala and so on. This allows her to be very versatile as despite her bestial appearance, she still has all the typical things one would be cautious of while fighting one of the Espada.

{Overall Ability}Ailene is the aspect of Pestilence. As such her ability relies on disease. To put it simply, Ailene's ability is to invoke the plague in all things. As such, Ailene physically generates a microbiome in her body that holds the bacteria that she spreads in her miasma. This miasma than erupts from her body and is able to infect all it touches. Once infected, the opponent has but a moment to rid themselves of infect. If they chose not to, there is no return as the infection will either ravage their body or Ailene's release will end causing the infection simply dispel.
As the bacteria grows within the victim, it's symptoms not only worsen, but it becomes excessively harder to maintain. A bacteria or any disease is easier to treat in its early stages. Its the terminal stages that can become complicated as the victim waits too long to face the disease head on. This is what Ailene's power emulates. It rewards assertive opponents who are proactive about the disease spreading inside them while punishing those who feel that its a minor disease.
With her bestial form, Ailene has sharp claws that are also able to spread this infection. Additionally, Ailene has the potential to induce a form of toxic shock syndrome which expedites the rate at which the bacteria multiplies. This makes it a very important part of her kit as it is the only way to effectively increase the amount of bacteria that are ravaging her victims body. As such, Ailene's power is similar to a toxic stall strategy. Eventually the opponent will become too weak to resist.
The bacteria, modeled after the plague that ravaged Europe in the mid 14th-centure, eventually infects the lymph nodes that result in stamina and reiatsu drain. These are especially effective since Ailene can burst these sores causing intense pain within her victim. Finally, Ailene is able to release a concussive blast of biological and viral matter. When coming into contact with an opponent who is infected, the bacteria violently react and sacrifice themselves to increase the potency of the concussive blast.

{Primera Etapa Overall}The form that Primera Etapa grants Ailene is one of elegance, quick movement and death. To begin with, Ailene's new imposing form gives them sharp appendages to fight with. With in this form, Ailene doesn't have a traditional Zanpakutou, instead using their entire body as a release weapon of sorts. Deadly claws, a crushing maw with rows of razor sharp teeth, a long slender tail, and just the size of the form itself gives Ailene an entire body to use as a weapon. Each one of these appendages strikes with Ailene's OS.
Due to trapping most of their power within their release, Ailene gradually unlocks use of their body as a weapon. Once fully attaining the maximum power they are capable of in the form of regaining all their stats via Soul Specialist, Ailene's true form is revealed. Gaining a new set of horns that act as piercing weapons which are based off of Ailene's OS and the ability to use their wings allows Ailene to be become an absolute dominant force on the battlefield with the use of wings allowing for short term flight.
The true ability behind Ailene's form is its ability to manifest the plague in all living things. Yersinia pestis known more commonly as The Black Death or the plague was a vicious disease that claimed the lives of many Europeans. Ailene hailing from the time of the Black Death uses this to their advantage to cause a chain of infection that gets worse as the victim goes on. The worst effects of this disease may be delayed, but eventual consumption is inevitable for even the most resistant of souls.
Ailene has three vectors of infection. The first is Ailene's claws. Striking others with their claws initiates the incubation process as the infection will begin to develop within their body. The second vector of infection is a fine mist that Ailene exudes. This mist surrounds Ailene almost all times in release at a distance of 10 ft surrounding them and in fact is an airbone form of the disease. To facilitate infection, an opponent must remain within the mist for 2 posts. This means that those within 10 ft of Ailene for 2 posts become infected. The third and final vector is Pandemic Virula.
Once infected, the bacteria undergoes a virulent mutation as it reaches new heights. When becoming newly infected, Yersinia, as it will be called is in its most infant stage and in fact is at a stage where it is most vulnerable. The victim can at this point remove the disease from their system by spending a modicum of reiatsu. By spending 100 reiatsu, dedicated to purging Yersinia, the victim will not only not suffer its further effects, but gains a 2 post immunity to becoming infected again. In the case that the victim chooses to let it be, the incubation process will begin.
This incubation process requires 1 post after infection to finish. Once incubated, Yersinia becomes integrated into their body and now cannot be removed. From this point on, infection can only be delayed. The victim begins at 0 stacks of Bacterium. Every post, this value increases by 10. This is not the only way to increase the value, however. When the victim uses a technique, 10% of the reiatsu used to create the technique actually gets converted into a value rounded up. If the victim spends 100 reiatsu, they still fire the technique at a cost of 100 reiatsu, but they gain 10 stacks of Bacterium. If the victim spends 25 reiatsu, they gain 3 stacks of Bacterium.
Yersinia, once having infected a target, can be increased as Ailene strikes the target with his claws. Every time Ailene strikes the target with their claws, the victim in question gains 5 stacks of Bacterium. Additionally, the natural mist that Ailene creates applies another 10 stacks every post that the target is standing within it. Much like natural accumulation, points of Poison Resist will reduce this accumulation of stacks via mist. Each point reduces it by 2. With a Poison Resist of 2, the accumulation via mist is 6 per post when the target is within 10 ft. If the target has a Poison Resist of 4, the accumulation is 2 per post.
Yersinia has yet another way of accumulating more stacks of Bacterium. As metabolism is fortified by faster movement, moving at certain speeds will make it so the victim feeds the bacterium. Starting at 300, every post that the victim moves at that speed, the stacks of Bacterium increase by 20. This value increased by 20 for every 100+ speed they move at. If the victim is moving at 400 speed for 1 post, they accumulate 40 stacks from moving at that speed. If they move at 400 speed for 2 posts, they gain 80 stacks over those two posts. This does take into account the speed of step techniques. Step techniques incur both a reiatsu conversion and speed conversion for stacks. Step techniques are unique in this regard. Step techniques can only accumulate a speed conversion equal to the top base speed of the target. I.E if they Shunpo and their speed of 400, but they are moving at 4000, the converstion will only take into account base speed and 10% of reiatsu. This would make it 50 stacks.
Once Yersinia reaches certain thresholds of Bacterium, it not only has a more profound effect on the physiological processes of the body, but it also mutates. This form of the plague likens to an extremely virulent form of Yersinia pestis. As the stacks increase, the victim suffers a worse effect from the bacterium itself. This will also be detailed in a table titled Yersinia Bacterium. This all goes to show that once a bacterium is left to its own devices, it will consume feed on the resources given to it by the victims body.
It is important to note that despite all this, the victim does have a few devices in place to delay the infection process. First and foremost, points of Poison Resist will actually slow the rate at which Yersinia naturally accumulates stacks. Every point of Poison Resist will reduce the accumulation by 2. With a Poison Resist of 2, the natural accumulation per post is reduced from 10 to 6. A 4 will reduce the accumulation per post from 10 to 2. Furthermore, it will also increase the time it takes for the victim to begin experiencing side effects. Starting at Poison Resist 3, the victim will only begin suffering from its effects at Stage 3 of infection. A Poison Resist of 4 will leave the victim suffering from its effects at Stage 4 of infection. A minimum of 800 in Healing Expertise will decrease the natural accumulation of infect to 2 per post no matter the Poison Resist.
Aside from this, the victim can make the conscientious effort to refuse moving at high speeds. They can also limit the amount of reaitsu techniques that they fire. These two efforts will prevent them from accumulating stacks too quickly. There is one more option that the victim of this vile disease has. While it is true that spending reiatsu worsens the disease, this only applies to techniques. The victim can choose to spend reiatsu at a 5:1 ratio to lessen the stacks of disease. This reiatsu is specifically dedicated to lessening the severity of Yersinia. If the victim spends 100 reiatsu dedicated to this effort, they reduce their amount of stacks by 20.
The last ways to combat this disease is by simply being stronger than Ailene. A 2x OS superiority will also make the victim immune. If the victim gains a stat boost while infected that gives them a 2x OS superiority, they will be immune to the effects of Yersinia as well as accumulation of stacks for as long as they have this superiority. It should also be noted that if Ailene should ever drop out of Resurreccion either by their own volition or fatigue, Yersinia will die as it leaves their body, leaving the victim without this Plague.

{Yersinia Bacterium}0 Stacks: Known as Stage 1, the victim suffers no real negative effects. They realize that their body has been infected with a foreign agent though as they suffer a minor immune response resulting in extremely minor lightheadedness. Nothing serious and in most circumstances, the victim can simply resume fighting as normal. This is also the point of no return.
10 Stacks: Known as Stage 2, the victim begins to suffer minor side effects. This consists of minor headaches, lightheadedness and nausea. The victim also begins to notice minor muscle fatigue. This may manifest in the form of losing a little bit of their grip on their sword. Alternatively, this could be a general feeling of weakness. It is up to the Rper to decide how this affecting their character.
50 Stacks: Known as Stage 3, the victim begins to suffer what would be considered mild side effects. The formerly minor headaches become mild, the lightheadedness and nausea become more pronounced. Additionally, the victim will sense sputum from their respiratory system as the body begins to realize that something is terrible wrong. Additionally, the victim will begin feeling an uncomfortable feeling as lymph nodes are beginning to slowly enlarge.
250 Stacks: Known as Stage 4, the victim now is still suffering from mild headaches. The nausea at this point remains, but a minor fever develops as the lymph node now grows as it become swollen. This is also where Yersinia shows another nasty side effect. The swollen lymph node at this point acts as though it is a parasite and siphons reiatsu to keep the cells alive. This occurs at a rate of 50 reiatsu per post and only one swollen lymph node will actually do so.
1050 Stacks: Known as Stage 5, the victim now suffers headaches on the more severe side. The former developed fever now becomes mild as the temperature of the victim increases. Yersinia at this point infects yet another lymph node which induces a 100 reiatsu drain per post as the two swollen lymph nodes drain 50 reiatsu each per post. Pain will form due to frequent blood clots in major vessels around the body. Adequate levels of Pain Tolerance to be determined by the Rper can resist this pain.
5250 Stacks: Known as Stage 6, the victims headaches are still severe. This fever is now considered a high fever as fatigue sets in. Additionally, another lymph node is infested as the victim now suffers from a total reiatsu drain of 150 per post. The lymph nodes have also begun feeding on the bodies' natural resources. As such, these lymph nodes each incur a stamina drain of 50 each. If at this stage, the victim is moving at 50 speed, they incur a 150 stamina penalty and their body perceives movement at 200 speed. This stamina penalty is taken into account for accumulation of bacterium. If the victim at this stage is moving at 150 speed, the body perceives it at 300 speed not only incurring the stamina drain associated with the speed, but accumulating 20 stacks worth of Bacterium as if they were moving at 300 speed.
10500 Stacks: Known as Stage 7, this is the pinnacle of Yersinia. The headache has now become unbearable, requiring a high Pain Tolerance to endure. Blood clots have formed in numerous areas of the body, causing one limb per post at the discretion of the victims' Rper to go numb. This limb always changes as the turns a blackish color for the post which is indicative of gangrene and potential necrosis. The high fever continues to torment the victim's body causing general increased discomfort and feelings of fatigue. Yersinia reaches a maximum lymph node infection of 4 which not incurs a constant stamina penalty of 200, but also drains 200 reiatsu per post. Yersinia can continue accumulating bacterium, but it will not evolve any further from this point on. In a DE thread, the victim will die from this is they are at Stage 7 for 5 posts. Their body will simply stop working as it works overtime to keep itself alive with the increased consumption of resources. In an NDE or DP thread, the victim will simply fall unconscious from the severe taxing disease on their body.

{Primera Etapa Techniques}Technique Name: Toxic Shock
Technique Description and Effects: Toxic Shock Syndrome is traditionally an immune response that the body executes when it detects toxins to the body. Ailene twists this concept and uses it to violently proliferate the victims disease state. This technique causes Ailene's talons to become infused with reiatsu as they glow a similar color to the color of Ailene's fur. This lasts for 2 posts and if Ailene were to strike a target with the talons, it would leave a nasty laceration on the targets' body. This initiates the first response of the Toxic Shock Syndrome. Due to this, the victim becomes immune to the effects of Yersinia for a post. Once this immunity has faded, however, the current stacks that the victim of Toxic Shock has accumulated instantly double. If the victim is not infected with Yersinia and is hit by Toxic Shock, the inherent weakening of the immune response will make it so the target immediately gets infected without need of an incubation period. Toxic Shock requires Ailene to expend 100 reiatsu.
Technique Drawbacks: Toxic Shock while a powerful way of increasing the amount of stacks that the target is suffering from does come with several drawbacks. The toxin that Ailene laces the wound with can be delayed with Poison Resist. Beginning at Poison Resist 2, each point in Poison Resist delays the proliferation by a post. If the victim has a Poison Resist of 2, it was 2 posts for it to double. A 3 requires 3 posts for it to double. Additionally, the poison is immediately neutralized by having a 2x OS Superiority to Ailene.

Techique Name: Pandemic Virula
Technique Description and Effects: Pandemic Virula harnesses Ailene's ability to increase the virulency of Yersinia. Ailene does this by coating the ground in a thick virulent secretion. By spending 200 reiatsu, Ailene temporarily spreads their wings and screeches causing the surrounding 30 ft to become tainted in this secretion. It spreads out a speed of 1000. Upon contact, this secretion immediately infects the target with the incubated stage of Yersinia. After 1 post, the target becomes affected with Stage 1 of Yersinia. Ailene can increase the reiatsu used to infect targets with more virulent stages of Yersinia. By increasing the reiatsu cost to 400 or 600, Pandemic Virula infects the target with Stage 2 or Stage 3 respectively. This also decreases the range of Pandemic Virula by 10 ft each time to a minimum of 10 ft. The higher stages still incur the 1 post of incubation.
Technique Drawbacks: Pandemic Virula while a potent technique to jumpstart Ailene's infection comes with drawbacks. Pandemic Virula only spreads along the ground so it can be avoided by those that are in the air at the time. Additionally, this secretion only lasts for 2 posts and cannot move outside of the distance it is discharged at. Additionally, the large reiatsu cost at higher virulency along with encompassing a smaller radius requires Ailene to get in close for maximum effectiveness. Upon use, this technique is placed onto a 2 post cooldown and for those 2 posts, Ailene's natural mist that infects others is rendered inert. Finally, the incubation period can still be forcibly removed from the body for 100 reiatsu and initates the 2 post immunity.

Technique Name: Breath of the Plagued Mist
Technique Description and Effects: Breath of the Plagued Mist is a focused discharge that actually does not spread the Yersinia bacteria. Instead, it channels all of Ailene's mist into a devastating attack. Ailene starts by drawing in the mist that Ailene naturally generates. Directly after this, Ailene unleashes a 50 ft long beam of mist that is about 5 ft wide. Ailene is able to move their head to aim it, although it is very rigid and difficult to move. Breath of the Plagued Mist has a force equal to Ailene's OS and moves at an impressive speed of 1000. Due to the compression and concentration of the actual breath weapon, Breath of the Plagued Mist is a concussive force. There is a catch, however. If the target hit by Breath of the Plagued Mist and is affected with atleast Stage 3 of Yersinia, the Bacterium will resonate violently to this and Breath of the Plagued Mist will be treated as 2x Ailene's OS, but this kills some of the bacteria as a result. Breath of the Plagued Mist requires Ailene to spend 400 reiatsu.
Technique Drawbacks: Breath of the Plagued Mist is by far Ailene's most direct ability. Despite this, it comes with a number of drawbacks that make it challenging to use. First comes the hefty reiatsu cost. Additionally, while it is true that later stage of infection benefit from the added power, getting hit by Breath of the Plagued Mist reduces the victims' Yersinia infection by 3 Stages. If the victim is at stage 3 or below, they will be rid of the infection if they get hit by it, but only Stage 3 or higher will treat Breath of the Plagued Mist as 2x OS. Additionally, if Breath of the Plagued Mist regresses the Stage, but they are still infected, they will start at a # of Bacterium equal to the threshold. If they get knocked down to Stage 1, they have 0 Bacterium in their system and the disease must progress from there. The final issue is that Breath of the Plagued Mist eliminates Ailene's natural mist for 2 posts.

Technique Name: Bursting Sores
Technique Description and Effects: Bursting Sores is a way for Ailene to not only deal a harsh blow to their opponent, but it also acts as a way to aid Ailene while giving a short reprieve to their opponent. Bursting Sores can only be used on targets that have progressed to a Stage of Yersinia that develops the lumps. These Stages include 4, 5, 6, & 7. While an applicable target is within 20 ft of Ailene, they can choose to spend reiatsu to causes the lumps that form to detonate. They can only cause a number of lumps to burst up to to the maximum amount that can form on the target. If a target is at Stage 6, Ailene can cause up to 3 lumps to burst. Stage 4 allows for only 1 lump to burst. For each lump that is burst, Ailene spends 100 reiatsu, but each detonates with a force equal to their OS.
Each burst lumps does have a secondary effect. As the sores burst, they become infected and naturally weaken the immune system as the inflammatory response kicks in. As such, Ailene claws increase the amount of Bacterium that is acculumated every time Kazuna strikes the target with their claws from 5 to 10. This effect lasts a number of posts equal to the amount of sores that were burst.
Technique Drawbacks: Bursting Sores has a number of drawbacks. The first and foremost issue is that to even use Bursting Sores, the victim needs to progress to a Stage that is deep within the infection cycle of the Yersinia. Additionally is its shorter range and reiatsu cost that goes up with every lump that is burst by this technique. Bursting Sores has one more interesting drawback of note. While it is true, that infected areas remain, the target does not actually generate more lumps nor do they suffer the effects of the lumps for a number of posts equal to the # of lumps detonated. If Ailene burst 2 lumps, they will not regain more lumps for 2 posts. As such they will also avoid all effects tied to lumps for 2 posts.

{Cero}Technique Name: [Cero (Zero)]
Class: [4]
Technique Type: [Hollow Technique]
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects:
Available only to Hollows or Arrancar of at least Gillian status, Cero is the signature technique of higher level Hollow races. This concentrates their reiatsu into a condensed blast of light which fires out, usually from the hands or similar body part, though many can use it from their chests, feet, mouths, or other appendages. Color is usually red, but many Arrancar have learned how to alter the color of their fired Cero. When charging it appears to be an orb, but when fired is a large, very wide beam. It has a distinct high-pitched sound when charging, and a very low growl when fired. Anyone can hear either, and thus discerning a Cero is very easy. In power, weaker Cero explode on contact with targets, but some Cero have enough power to keep going after hitting a target, and simply consume and disintegrate it.
How to use technique:
Aim body part at target and charge the technique, then fire. In speed, takes a few seconds total.
Technique Drawbacks
Reiatsu cost of 200, despite being class 4.

{Bala}Technique Name: [Bala] (Bullet)
Class: [6] [Cannot be learned until class 6]
Technique Type: [Hollow Technique]
Technique Element: [None]
Technique Description and Effects:
A straightforward and simple technique that hardens the user's Reiatsu and releases it like a swift blast of spiritual energy. While the technique is not nearly as powerful as a Cero, its speed is 20 times faster and allows for it to be fired in quick repetition. The orb of reiatsu fired varies in size and strength, some Arrancar creating one the size of a basketball with the rough power of a massive punch, and others creating Bala with enough power to blast holes in adversaries. Some Espada can create Bala as large and powerful as an average Arrancar's Cero.
How to use technique:
The user must first aim and then fire the technique, as is custom of any projectile type.

{Hierro}Technique Name: [Hierro (Harden)]
Class: [3]
Technique Type: [Hollow Technique]
Technique Element: [Metal]
Technique Description and Effects:
Hierro is an Arrancar technique in which the user's reiatsu condenses, creating a steel-hard skin strong enough to block a Zanpakuto. This also allows them to fight some of the sword-wielding Shinigami barehanded. This technique guards against reiatsu based and melee techniques. If the user has 150+ reiatsu strength superiority to the enemy, then the user is totally undamaged by all attacks from the enemy. This means an Arrancar is essentially invincible based on Hierro for some time. At 75-149 reiatsu strength advantage, damage is very minor, but present. A large slash could be a tiny cut. At less than 75 advantage, there is resistance to damage from the Hierro. Small resistance.
How to use technique:
Always active. Doesn't use reiatsu to keep active, uses reiatsu strength for strength. Permanently active as soon as it is learned.
Technique Drawbacks
Must deactivate this to use High Speed Regeneration. Reiatsu is lost upon deactivation, reiatsu equivalent to the technique class, which is 3. 400 is lost upon deactivation. 400 is then also lost upon reactivation in the same thread. Final stage release bypasses Hierro automatically by default. (Bankai, Fullbring Stage 2, etc.) Vizard Bankai does NOT bypass Hierro. Vizards, even if they have not yet become full Vizards, must use their mask to bypass Hierro. Those facing Hierro can gradually adjust to it per combat hit against the enemy, though within a certain post limit. Let's say Person A has Hierro, and is fighting Person B. If Person B hits Person A twice with attacks, then after 8 posts of their combat have elapsed, then Person A's Hierro counts at 80% of its strength (100 Reiatsu strength would be 80). After 12 posts of combat, if Person A has been hit at least four total times, then Person B can now treat Hierro as if it is simply 60% strength (100 Reiatsu Strength would be 60). After 16 posts of combat, if at least six hits have been landed, Hierro stops working against Person B.

{Pesquis}
Technique Name: [Pesquis (Sight)]
Class: [5]
Technique Type: [Hollow Technique]
Technique Element: [None]
Technique Description and Effects:
An Arrancar exclusive technique that allows the user to cast a seeming "radar" for a one mile radius, allowing them to sense any and all beings that have reiatsu in the area, and tell how strong that reiatsu is, and even locate an enemy in battle. Vizards can slip through Pesquis during use of step techniques. Those of speed three or more times the user's can also slip through Pesquis. This allows a one mile radar per 50 energy sensory. Its accuracy also increases with higher levels of energy sensory.
The default version can sense location, general flaring and fluctuation of reiatsu, and basic movement.
How to use technique:
Focus. Lasts for 5 posts once activated.
Technique Drawbacks
In addition to diverting some of the user's focus, this technique can be fooled by mid to high level illusions, and step techniques which reach a speed at least 30% or more of the user's step speed can slip through Pesquis, seeming to disappear like a ghost off of the radar.

{Bala Obscuras}Technique Name: [Bala Oscuras] (Black Bullet)
Class: [3]
Technique Type: [Hollow Technique]
Technique Element: [None]
Technique Description and Effects: [The Espada-only version of the bala. The Bala Oscuras (Dark Bullet) version turns the bala into a jet black and fires it with tremendous velocity and power. This can only be used while in Release Stages. It packs the nearly punch of half a Gran Rey Cero. Unlike regular Bala, which merely puts holes in adversaries, and occasionally blows limbs off, this one will blast holes easily twice the size of the actual blast, and splash burns across the enemy as well. On top of that, it is capable of completely disintegrating limbs, rather than just blowing them off, meaning that reattachment is impossible.]
How to use technique: [Same as regular Bala]
Drawback: [Unlike Cero Oscuras, this technique requires there be the user's blood on their hand, rather similar to the conditions for Gran Rey Cero. This will also slowly burn the hand with each use. Consecutive uses will add second and third degree burns to the hand that uses it. After too many uses, around 6 or 7, that hand will not be able to use any more reiatsu based techniques, unless it is healed. High speed regeneration cannot heal the damage caused by this technique.]

{Cero Lightning}Technique Name: [Cero Lightning]
Class: [3]
Technique Type (Kido, Hollow/Arrancar Technique, Human World Dweller Technique, Other): [Arrancar]
Usable By (Technique is available to which races?): [Arrancar]
Technique Element: [Lightning]
Technique Description and Effects: [Cero Lightning is one of the most advanced, forms of a Cero. While it does not provide the stunning raw power of the higher class Cero, it is nonetheless a formidable weapon and also can be adapted to multiple purposes in battle, or out of battle.
When used, instead of the blast of energy most Cero produce, Cero Lightning creates crackling bolts of lightning to expel from the user in the direction they have aimed. While not as fast as a Bala, this technique requires no charge time, unlike normal Cero, and is three times as fast as a normal Cero. Like Shoji Cero, this technique can be extended for longer durations, and a user can employ a single use of this technique for up to two posts (including the post they used it). When unleashing this Cero at full power it is capable of burning targets with half or less RS than the user to ash instantly. In fact, even those that have equal reiatsu strength to the user can be burnt to ash if they are exposed to a full power blast for two consecutive posts. Even if a target is too strong to outright destroy with this power, it causes serious burns and blisters across the target’s form, and creates immense pain and electric shocks to cascade across their body, requiring a Pain Tolerance of 2 (or equivalent) to withstand, else the target will crumple in a heap, incapacitated by the pain and electrocution.
There is one other incredibly useful trait to this Cero. The user possesses complete and utter control over its power and form. The user can unleash concentrated, killing bursts of this power to annihilate the opponent, or they can create massive arcs of lightning to ensure that the opponent cannot dodge. The user is freely able to adjust the power of this technique on a 1:1 ratio with size. That is to say, if the user halves the power of the technique, they will double the space the technique covers, and so on and so forth. Naturally, because the user is lessening the power, it makes this technique easier to resist, but compensates by making it much harder to avoid. The amount of space this attack covers at full power is comparable to that of the user’s bala.]
How to use technique (How is it activated?): [Although this technique is a Cero move, it is used much more like a Bala.]
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc)
[If one possesses a reiatsu strength that is 50% greater than the user, then they can resist the effects of the pain, getting away with minimal injuries, or even, if their reiatsu strength is double the user’s, being completely unharmed. Individuals with a Pain Tolerance of 2 can ignore the agonizing pain, though it will still be present, and continue to fight, only suffering the weakness of their injuries. Individuals with a Pain Tolerance of 3 (or greater) can outright push through the Cero, and be relatively unimpeded by it, if they are strong enough to survive it, minus the injuries they would receive from it. It has the standard cost of a Class 3 technique. Using this technique for more than a post fatigues the user greatly. The fatigue is intense enough that the user cannot maintain a single use of Cero Lightning for more than two posts.
The use of this technique causes slight burns to form on the bodypart using the power, which will steadily worsen with repeated use. These burns cannot be healed by High Speed Regeneration, or other immediate healing techniques and must either heal on their own, or be treated post-battle. Repeated use will cause these burns to worsen, and if a single limb uses them enough (ie. Over ten times in a single thread), the limb will burn away into ash.

{Gran Rey Cero}
Technique Name: [Gran Rey Cero (Grand King's Zero)]
Class: [2]
Technique Type: [Hollow Technique]
Technique Element: Lightning
Technique Description and Effects:
An Espada-exclusive Cero of such great might that its use is forbidden while under the dome of Las Noches. It requires the user's blood to be used as a sacrifice to activate, but when activated is charged at about the same speed as a regular Cero. It is always blue in color, and appears to have the shape of a razor with several prongs. When fired, it zig zags at the enemy instead of firing in a straight line. While charging speed is the same as Cero, firing speed is three times that of Cero, and the actual destruction potential is twice the user's reiatsu strength.
Furthermore, the explosive power is so high that not even several Cero put together can rival it. This technique also releases a large mass of lightning and electricity not only upon firing, but on impact as well. The ferocity of the Gran Rey Cero is nearly unrivaled.
How to use technique:
Fire like a regular Cero, but only after also getting blood on the firing hand from its user. This is usable only by Espada. The secret to its use and why only Espada can use it are both unknown at this present time.
Technique Drawbacks
400 reiatsu cost and blood sacrifice. Can only be fired once per post, up to four times a day.

Memorable Figures: The Hashiro Siblings - The most memorable figures to Ailene are arrancar that she technically never even met. As Ailene is a fusion of two souls, Kazuna and Eleana, they hold significance not only to her history, but her entire existence. She does not know them intimately as they for all intents and purposes do not exist anymore. When Kazuna and Eleana fused into one, some traits made it into Ailene, but the actual product is independent of the two souls that created her.
History
{Chapter 1 - A Former Life}To talk about Ailene's history, it is to discuss her former life as Kazuna Hashiro. In the early 14th century, Kazuna was born to a small family in Trendelburg, Germany in the region of Hessen. The family lived a very humble life. Kazuna's father was a farmer by trade and despite the systems of agriculture not being very robust, the Hashiro family made due. In fact they lived rather comfortable lives. The seclusion of Trendelburg allowed it to stay safe from civil unrest and other social grievances.
Kazuna did not grow up alone and in fact had a sister. Eleana Hashiro was a few years older than Kazuna, but she was essentially a protector for Kazuna. She would often be by his side in his younger years. For many years, Eleana would be there to protect Kazuna from the injustices and harsh nature of the world. In a way it made Kazuna sheltered and it truly broke him when Eleana became very sick. Kazuna being five at the time, Eleana's death hit him incredibly hard. It was like a piece of his life suddenly fragmented.
With the severity of the disease and the povertous condition of the family, they had no choice, but to effectively burn Eleana's body. Such was the practice in the day. Disease could not be risked and it could not be tolerated. The Hashiro family had the chance to say their goodbye's, but they never attended. Kazuna and his mother at least did not. His father did and mourned greatly over the loss of his child. However, Kazuna could not bring himself to look upon his sisters' body be burnt to a crisp. Unbeknowst to all, Eleana was there.
The chain of fate that connected her to her corpse tied her down. It forced her to watch the desecration of her body and the lack of her family being present. In a way, the deceased Eleana felt betrayed. Forced to remain there in suffering until the chain of fate encroached and ate at her very sanity. This would not happen for another few years however. As the years passed as Eleana was forced to watch the passage of time without as much as a thought, Kazuna was beginning to grow up into a fine young man.
As the now only child of the Hashiro family came of age and the passing of his father from a deadly disease that was suddenly spreading around, it was clear that Kazuna had to take the reigns and lead his family. Continuing the family trade of farming, Kazuna would still live a few more years with his mother. Eventually, the passing of his mother from sickness and disease was inevitable and Kazuna was all alone. Continuing field work, he felt that he owed it to them to continue to live on. Despite the grief, he could not just give up now. He had a life to live and they all would have wanted to live a fruitful one.
It seems, however that fate is not kind as Kazuna took one of his routine walks in the forest to clear his head. As he did this, a familiar entity stalked nearby. Eleana, at this point now a Hollow, stalked after the family member whom she loved so dear. Yet in her anger and grief, she unleashed herself upon her former sibling. Due to this, Kazuna felt a strange coughing fit. Unlike the rest of his family members, Kazuna would not have the time to talk to the village elders about this incidence. Instead his coughing would grow louder and louder, vision growing dimmer until there was not a single sound.
As Kazuna awoke, there was nobody nearby. It was nighttime, but he felt this strange feeling in his chest. As he looked down, a scream of disbelief erupted from him. The chain of fate hung from his chest, lodged within his body. As he recoiled from the shock, he looked to the side and saw his diseased body. Riddled with sores and bleeding orifices. It was a terrible fate and he could not escape. Much like his sister, he was stuck as the chain of fate kept him locked in this forest.
Hours would soon turn to days. Days would become weeks as the chain of fate encroached, devouring itself greedily until finally it snapped. The agony of isolation that befell Kazuna in that forest made him turn. A white mask forming around his screaming mouth which soon formed a reptilian grin. Dark scales adorned his body as Kazuna was now reborn as a Hollow. The pain and agony that he endured ate at his sanity and he was hungry. Hungry for innocent souls.

Dark scales adorned his body as Kazuna was now reborn as a Hollow. The pain and agony that he endured ate at his sanity and he was hungry. Hungry for innocent souls.
{Chapter 2 - A Regretful Afterlife}The cycle of hatred that befell Kazuna would urge him to do unspeakable things. The first order of business on the new Hollow's mind was to go and devour the souls of the innocent. Returning to his home that he knew so well, his time of indulgent and gluttony would begin. The Hollow would lay siege on his hometown, devouring a few at a time to satiate the incredible hunger. Most would scream as they were devoured whole by Kazuna, all shred of conscious disappeared from the Hollow.
Every night, Kazuna would arrive back at the town to feast on more and more. His endless hunger would in fact become unbearable and it would grow with every passing meal. In a way it was torturous to be condemned to an existence of devouring those that he once called his friends. Yet compassion, empathy and all had disappeared. In its place came a mindless mind that only sought to do one thing. Devour those that he came across. Buildings would be ripped open, families plucked from their beds and nobody knew why.
Eventually the sport of hunting human souls warped poor Kazuna. Years upon years of devouring innocents made him lost his mind even more. Eventually the Hollow would tower above all others in the Human World. The mindless beast chose to go to the only place it could. Hueco Mundo. Within the Menos Forest, the Hollowfied Kazuna would begin to devour others of his kind. Comradery meant nothing if it meant survival. Such was the life of the Hollow. Eventually, these would congregate into a large Gillian.
For many months, possibly even years, the multiple personalities would strive for some semblance of control. Perhaps through a stroke of luck, mere coincidence or just clear superiority, the native personality turned out to once again be Kazuna. The large gillian would soon become a much smaller Hollow. Almost appearing like the grim reaper, the adjuchas would seek to devour more. What more was there than to gorge himself in the souls of those like him? There was no sweeter irony.
More years would pass by and Kazuna would become an epoch hunter within the Menos Forest. There were few that could contest his claim to the souls within his little region of the Menos Forest. In a way, it was a paradise for the Hollow as he began to gather more and more of his once lost intelligence. Yet deep down, Kazuna felt that there was more. More to his evolution. A step beyond this to achieve even greater strength. There was one thing that was holding him back.
This mask restricted him. It forced him to a lifetime of servitude to his hunger. This endless hunger. As such, Kazuna only had one more thing on his mind. He needed to rid himself of it. For many days he would approach it from different angles. Simply trying to remove the mask to ramming his head against a wall, but to no avail. All hope seemed lost for the Hollow. Would he be prevented from moving on? Such a cruel fate until suddenly a crack could be heard. With a new sense of invigoration, the Hollow began to tear at his mask eventually finding the strength to rip it off. In a flash of light, the hollow passed out in pain and shock.

{Chapter 3 - The Scourge of Hueco Mundo}As Kazuna woke he felt different. The mask that once plagued him was gone. He felt more powerful as he stood in the cold sand of Hueco Mundo. It had been so long since he used a humanoid form. So long that he stumbled through the sand, falling to it and gritting his teeth. This was his next test. Reborn as an Arrancar, he could achieve new heights. His back felt heavier though. Reaching back, he felt a hilt and looked upon his weapon. A great scythe with which he could cleave his enemies and attain greater strength.
As the Arrancar's experience grew, he would find himself at the gates of Las Noches. Hacking his way through the opposition it seems that he garnered the interest of a high value target. The King of Hueco Mundo himself, Lord of Las Noches and organizer of the Espada offered Kazuna a spot amonst the fabled ranks. Thinking about it for a bit, the Arrancar took the offer and was sworn into the duty of serving his new Lord Kouhai. With this and his new symbol of his status, a 9 imprinted on his back, Kazuna would find himself in many unique situations.
The Arrancar would find himself meeting several members of the Espada, most notably Sargon who had wanted to test him and Shiki who had rescued the poor Noveno Espada from a terrible fate in the Soul Society. Yet despite all of the strife, Kazuna was never prepared for his last mission. When Sonken tasked Kazuna to eliminate an Arrancar who was dealing with temporal and spatial anomalies, Kazuna was prepared to do so without question. Within the Menos forest, however, Kazuna would find and for a short while fight a familiar face. It was Eleana, now an Arrancar.
As the two fought, they ended up falling into the temporal anomaly. After discussing their past, Eleana offered an interesting proposition to Kazuna. Both of their powers were one, fragmented from their bond. To become whole, the two could join forces and become something else. Agreeing to this after just being happy to see his beloved sister again, the last thing that befell Kazuna was a fusion that essentially killed both Eleana and Kazuna. As Eleana promised, the end result would be greater than either of them.
From the portal erupted a beast. A 15 ft long wyvern that wailed with a terrible sound. Quickly moving up to the sands of Hueco Mundo, many Hollows came to meet the challenge, but none were prepared for the biological horror that this creature could inflict. Upon brutally infecting each and every Hollow, the beast eventually began shrinking and returned to a new form. Now female in appearance, lacking a scythe and instead having a proper blade, this new Arrancar would begin to move to Las Noches.
As this new Arrancar ended up in the throne room to tell of the mission, she was met with interest by the King of Las Noches. Regarding this as an interesting development, he simply let her go on with his business. Upon asking this new face for her name she looked back and had a smile on her face. The robes that adorned this new Arrancar reminiscent of a scholar's robes rustled from the movement as she simply bowed and introduced herself as Ailene Haschiro, the Noveno Espada.

{Chapter 4 - Rebirth of the Plague}Ailene Haschiro would continue on to fill in the spot of Kazuna. For all intents and purposes, Kazuna was deceased as was his sister. Now all that existed was this unique fusion. Sharing similarities with the two siblings, but being an entirely new soul, this allowed Ailene to pursue her own agency. This was most interesting since the new Arrancar suffered total amnesia. Only having glimpses of odd fragmented memories and feelings of Deja Vu that would haunt her.
As she continued to get accustomed to the life of an Espada, Ailene took up a few hobbies. Mostly in research and education although she found herself drawn not only to Germany, but a specific era. The era of the black death. Ailene was acutely aware of her ability to invoke the plague in all things, but she always wondered why she kept being drawn back to this time of all things. As time went on, Ailene would continue to study more and more, becoming increasingly interested in epidemiology.
Eventually, she would receive her first take and look to assault an encampment of Quincy. Naturally, being a non-violent Arrancar, Ailene tried to reason with them, but she seemed to have an unlikely ally. Camila, a Shinigami of the Thirteen Court Guards helped her with the somewhat unjustified eradication these Quincy. Being forced to release left Ailene with little choice as she flew into a frenzy and began devouring the quincies whole, eradicating them and feeding on their corpses.
Since then, Ailene has had more interest in her past. After all, the fragmented memories were become more and more frequent and she was growing increasingly curious. Being a gentle and calm spirit at heart, Ailene knows that it is only a matter of time until she finds out more about her past. Until then, she will continue this path as the Noveno Espada and serve Lord Kouhai. Many more tasks and adventures with the unruly group will surely result in a curious time for Ailene.
