Technique Name: Dipping Swallow
Class: 8
Technique Type: Physical
Usable By (Technique is available to which races?): All
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): A very simple - and somewhat niche - technique with roots in Stepping Techniques, Dipping Swallow is a very simple thing. When thrown off balance, beleaguered or overextended, Dipping Swallow is a footwork technique designed to regain a proper stance and stable footing. The actual distance moved in negligible, but trained vigorously, it can be of use in situations when one needs to rapidly regain a firm stance without giving up any ground.
How to use technique (How is it activated?): Dipping Swallow is an acrobatic shuffling of the feet to realign the centre of gravity and return to proper form. While it technically can be used any time, it only really benefits the person when off balance or in need of reshuffling their stance.
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) The technique counts as the use of a Stepping Technique for that post, and can't be used if the legs are immobilised or movement is otherwise restricted.

Technique Name: Mince
Class: 4
Technique Type: Physical
Usable By (Technique is available to which races?): All
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): Once the user has effectively blocked a person's sword or fist, they can shift their sword and take advantage of the physical contact by twisting and flickering their sword. This requires good skill with the blade to pull off, and the effects are based on the user's physical power, but it is a good thing to catch an opponent off guard, especially if you have blocked their fist rather than their sword.
Once activated, the technique rapidly flickers up and down the object, making thousands of cuts along it which effectively mince - hence the name - the object. Though this is merely the desired outcome, and the capabilities of the target can change how it ultimately goes down.
How to use technique (How is it activated?): (Detailed above)
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) As a technique that relies on continues physical contact, it's only something that is viable within a Bladelock (Or indeed fist on blade if the opponent is durable enough). Though creatures of supernal speed might be able enact it within the moment of a physical strike, this is far beyond most beings to enact. It also has a cost of 25 reiatsu to ignite the initial snap, though the cost is low as one can sustain it easily once ignited.

Technique Name: Bull-stopping Stance
Class: 4
Technique Type: Physical
Usable By (Technique is available to which races?): All
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): When a warrior plants his feet, the world may not pass him. This technique seems simple, with a sturdy footing and slightly lowered centre of gravity, but the key to it is clenching the toes into the ground and creating a small reiatsu platform there to hold on. This exceptionally sturdy foothold allows them to channel stability of both body and soul upwards to their whole body, preparing for the oncoming storm.
Once this technique is used, the user can count their strength as three times higher for the sake of blocking a physical blow. This is a short term boost that lasts until they move.
How to use technique (How is it activated?): (In description)
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) A wholly defensive form, there is no offensive application for this technique. Additionally, as a bulwark of one, the technique only lasts as long as the person remains standing and still. Moving or having one's footing taken away immediately ends the technique. It costs 50 reiatsu to create the platform needed to retain one's stoic resistance.
