It was as Luke spoke of. The Humans were entranced by the spells that only the Bounts were capable of mustering. Their art form of fighting wasn't necessarily weak compared to the other races. Far be it from that fact, as the Bounts learned to use the shadows that they were cast into as a means of manipulating, and controlling the situation to meet their expectations. Bending shadows by instructing them, to become one with their environment, was how the Bounts managed to survive for so long. Such abilities to be used in such an era was appropriate given what resided in the shadows of society. What the Humans, and other races, did within the shadows of society was only the tip of the iceberg so to speak. Their understanding, their methods of using the unknown was an entirely laughable level compared to that of the Bounts. For their race however, the uses were nearly endless.
The two traveled again down the lonesome sidewalk, a means to step away from the environments in which they had discussed business matters. This was merely meant to breath, take in the scenes around them, to enjoy the peace that resided. This was but a moment that could last for years to come, with a war kept out of sight of Human society, and slowly change the world that was seen into something better. Such a world served to be beneficial to the Bounts, and those who would come in the future. Newer generations of their kind coming into the world which they do not need to fear. A world that they can call their own, without the fear of the other factions having to hunt them, to finally be able to grow into individuals who will help to serve Humanity, as well as the Bounts. The other races will no longer be able to have a say as to how the Bounts were to live their lives.
But, to have such a future the Covenant were in need of people who could make such an ideal a reality. They needed capable individuals. "Many of the Yakuza here in Karakura have been implanted with a phrase that will enable us to take control if need be for a short period of time. Such a phrase will place them into a trance, one in which we can input directions for them to follow, or to carry out duties that are needed to be done." she answered Luke. Being limited in numbers, the Bounts required the assistance of others to help the race with their expansion. Such hands meant Human hands, and better yet, those who plagued on society. "Once the phrase is utilized again, the Humans will lose memory as to what transpired, and will carry on as to what they were doing previously. As for the photos that were taken, we learn to familiarize ourselves with their faces, to know who has been influenced, and who has not been." she added. "Should the time come that we need to make use of them, then we know who to look for to request aid from. This does make it quite useful when needing information as to what goes on around Karakura, wouldn't you agree?"
Eris didn't allow the photos to be kept on the phones of the Bounts. All such pictures taken were to be sent to the Covenant before being deleted. She did not wish to risk the phones being stolen, or misplaced, carrying with them vital information that could be hazardous to the Covenant, or the Citadel. When the time came for missions to be done, each Bount was to familiarize themselves with the Human faces whom were implanted with the phrase. This made it as a precaution when the situation had a drastic change, or needed to make use of the resources that the Humans had to better situate themselves in handling the mission. These Humans came to serve as information hubs of Karakura, suppliers, and if need be, distractions. Eris could not count as to the number of uses each of them could serve the Bounts, but it was better to keep an open mind when doing so as it will aid them all in surviving. Besides, if the Humans that fed on the rot of society were to be killed, who would mourn their departure. Death, for them was common.
Eris didn't have a particular place in mind to travel towards when they left. Merely wanting to wander aimlessly without having a thought on a destination was relaxing. For such moments to be taken was often rare according to their schedules. While there will be some people who prefer to travel somewhere at times such as these, for Eris, it was to take in the silence that she believed to be truly free without worry about the other races. A Bount that can be free in all essence of their current case. "The use for these particular Humans are to be utilized as the Bount's eyes and ears. To gather intelligence as what they see, what they hear as they carry on with their daily lives. This includes when they discuss matters with their superiors within their organizations." That was the first role that they played as. It was as Eris believed to be; information hubs. "After two to three days, we will seek them out and use the phrase to place them into the trance, and uncover what activities they have been going on about. After, we act accordingly if we need to become involved, or not."
This was what the information that the Humans provided to the Bounts. Criminal activities played out without interference nor that having potential leaks as to the Humans discovering as to whom spread such information. Each of the implanted criminal, gang member, politic, each individual who would come to do harm onto the Humans that sought out prosperity for the all would come to serve the Bounts to make use of for their own purposes. Of course, there may be the Bounts who would come to abuse this sort of power. Not on the watch of this Bount. Eris made sure to document all resources along with Leon. Leon, being an ex-criminal himself, knew to how operate and watch over such resources. Each one to be documented, tagged by the Bount with links as to the Bounts who operated in the areas at the time. Those who acted as Leaders within the Covenant kept a watchful eye on those who beneath them.
Eris had to teach them responsibility. A lesson that needed to be taught through experience, and with purpose. Soon, they would come to find themselves a park overlooking the city. Grassy patches circling stone benches at the center with several walk ways that intersected. The starry night was best seen here, over the hillside to overlook the dazzling lights of the city below. A sea of light with a full moon over head to bless them with such a serene view. The chill breeze came about to force the Bount to wrestle with her hair, only having to figure out how much information they can gather from the newest recruits. "Those Humans are young, so gathering information would be best suited for them while their elders, their supervisors we will come to meet on another day to do the same with them. After we have gathered the information we require, shipments, their lines of operations, and of course with more Bounts, we will be able to control where their influence flows to. And beyond that, to hopefully aim for larger predators that reside within the Governments."
