Circumstances: Trying to hone her skills with spells, Camila's hollow purifying is quickly brought to an end upon launching a stray blast toward Elke. Violence ensues.

Ah, Karakura. Both a spiritual haven, as well as a spiritual battleground. This much was quite evident to Camila, who, after having been to this place quite a few times, has realized just how much of a potent location it is for hollows to show up. During her free time, and after getting approval to arrive in the World of the Living, the young Shinigami decided to make haste to Karakura, in order to better practice her combat capabilities. She was far from the best, especially now that she had trouble calling upon Albin's assistance. Even now, when she thought she'd never have to experience it again, she was truly and utterly alone in the world, with very few people in her life to actually sway her opinion on the matter.

She tried not to think about it. After all, this was a break from all of these things, was it not? Just a day to herself, one where she could practice every aspect of combat she needed to; she was quite lacking in her physical ability, so perhaps that'd be a good idea? Another possibility was practicing her spellslinging skills! She was starting to really, really enjoy Kido, even if she only knew a very minimal selection of the spells. That didn't change the fact that they were actually fun to use in combat, though! She liked being able to just sit back from a range, and cast spells to her heart's content. Physical targets seemed to not know how to really handle them, after all, so why not? Perhaps she'd spend her time trying to learn some more Kido!

She nodded to herself, a smile on her face as she wandered the streets of Karakura Town, a majority of the town's residents unaware of her existence. She didn't bother using a gigai, as she was just going to be fighting most of the time, anyway. What was the point of trying to blend in if that was the exact opposite of what she was going to try to do? She giggled at the thought, and kept an open ear toward her surroundings. It wasn't the easiest to do, as she was still somewhat hard of hearing, but even someone hard of hearing could hear the obnoxiously loud wails of a hollow when one decided to shout. In fact, having just heard one, she quickly made haste toward the source of the noise.

At arrival, she made no effort trying to hide from the beast. That being said, before beginning an assault, she began to forcibly lower her own spiritual pressure. Her plan was to effectively "reroute" the power itself, as to try to have more control over it, and focus it into her own attacks, rather than using it as a force she could exert over those she was looking to fight. She wanted to hone that power into something more effective, and planned do to just that. After she was ready, she walked up to the beast. She watched its movements, eerily similar to that of a gorilla, which is a shape the hollow seemed to resemble. It was likely a physical fighter; just her luck.

As the lesser hollow was thrashing about, destroying property, Camila saw her opportunity to attack. She made a leap into the air - nothing significant, but enough to give her just a bit of height - and pulled two fingers back toward her head; her index, and her middle finger. They quickly began to swarm with what looked like electricity, as small shocks could be seen dancing around her fingertips. Opting into a surprise attack, she said iconic incantation in her head; Arise god of thunder! Awake mother of storms! Unleash the lightning on the sinners! She moved her hand to point these fingers toward one of the beast's hind legs, and shouted the name of the spell. "Hado #4: Byakurai!" Normally she'd been pretty good at hitting her mark, but this time was a bit different.

The beast wailed once more, sending out waves of raw physical force behind it, somehow. This had to be one of the hollow's unique abilities, much like she was informed by Celes about hollows having. She was sent flying backward, and her bolt of lightning flying off in some direction other than where the hollow was. She was getting frustrated. Instead of looking to fight the hollow from a distance, she decided it'd be better to just end it now, after that little trick. As such, once she recovered her balance, and the hollow's eyes were locked on her, she drew her blade, ready for it to charge. Sure enough, it did just that, barreling over people, vehicles, and probably buildings too if any would've been in the way. Either way though, she was ready.

Through the use of Shunpo, she quickly appeared in front of the beast's face, and made a slash straight down the mask with her sword, crippling it from then on. Once she landed, the hollow slowly but surely began to fall, leaning to its left before just collapsing and starting to dissolve from the ground up. She sighed, as though she had been holding her breath, and sheathed her weapon. Well, so much for the plan of only using Kido. Her first opponent had basically stopped that from happening to begin with, and she'd only been in the World of the Living for what, fifteen minutes tops? Hopefully the other hollows she would encounter would allow her to better utilize her spells, instead of just causing her to launch them off wherever her arm had pointed. Speaking of which... where had that bolt gone?

She never thought to herself that she would have to embrace what she despised the most. Harboring the hate of her sister Ashisu, Elke never realized the immense strength that she was really given. Sure it was a curse day in and day out. Her birth was beyond average as her origins bared with it a disgusting secret that only the highest of Quincies among the Vandenreich knew of. Them, and along with her mother. In a sense she could feel that woman was alive. She was strong and very stubborn. In a lot of ways Elke inherited that from the Vandenreich woman. Her tenacity, that fire that brewed deep within herself, all that waited to be unleashed upon those that did her wrong. Never was she really at fault for the things that she could not control. The Vandenreich made her in such a way. She was born as she was because of them. They desired a weapon, and instead, got a monster. Elke sighed for the memories that constantly bashed into her thoughts. The same as her fist bashing into the Quincy's head.

Red puddles were beginning to form along the lips of the Vandenreich servant. A soldat that was sent to train among the Humans, to help blend in with their environment to pass off as a regular Human. Would have worked too if not for the emblem that only the Vandenreich were known to wear. A single artifact that was on his person and the same artifact that ratted him out all the same. Elke had been spending the past few days hunting, killing, taking away from the Vandenreich equal to what they have taken from her. But mostly information. She wanted to learn more as to what they were planning. Information gathering was essential to the hunting of prey. The more she collected the more that she could use against them.

The man looked up in shock as the constant pummeling of his scalp made his focus drift here and there, only to use the surge of pain with another strike to quickly reign it back in. Elke was the monster that the Empire had created, and only took her some time to come to realize that it was better to use it than hide it. Ashisu's death was something that constantly came to mind. Despite being from the Vandenreich, the two shared a similar mindset. Both had been robbed of a life due to the Empire's methods. Both had come to lose a future that they saw as bright. Both had lost a family. If Elke had been born a normal girl, then perhaps her mother would have loved her. The Sinner shook her head as the man continued to speak.

She needed to know how many there were posted in Karakura. With the information that Impo had given to her regarding a sternritter in Karakura, then perhaps there were more. Areas that may have thought to be suspicious and constantly surveillanced for Shinigami or other foreign concerns to the Empire. These areas were important for Elke to know so she could make a strategy as to how to use them for herself. That was the best part of it. The more she gathered the more that she could turn that information against the Vandenreich. What she had in mind, at least right now, was to avoid being found out by them. So by knowing which areas they had their eyes on, she could best avoid them. And if needed, attack to get more information later on. But first things first, she needed what the man had in him.

He began to speak again, this time adding more of the usual Vandenreich talk about the Emperor, how their God will show her no mercy when she passes on. Her existence being a mistake. Some of what he said was right. He was right when he said she was a mistake. A big mistake. But that actually started to make her happy. She was a mistake. A mistake that the Vandenreich made to secure their own demise. Elke would be thrilled to make that happen. Before she could twist his arm to make him give out more as to what she needed something came at them. A bolt of reiatsu that came crashing into the alley way. An eruption came about and fragmented like a grenade. Elke was able to whisk herself away before it came to impact with her standing, but it was unfortunate that the man wasn't able to do the same.

His body was beaten to a near pulp, with more than a concussion that she inflicted on him over some time. The reiatsu bolt collided with the man, burning through the side of his body before igniting. A burning sear through his flesh and bones that made it impossible to remain with the World of the Living. He was dead. He was dead, and the knowledge he had with him gone. It was already bad enough that she was going to have to deal with more Quincies in the future given what he had told her already, but for her to lose an important detail because of what happened was unforgivable. Her horns had already erupted from their hiding spot from beneath her hood. The face mask she wore torn from its place over her lips with her skin darkening, and eyes flaring. Her curse was active more than ever before.

Elke rushed out with her hood still somewhat covering her head. Fangs drawing out from her original canines being bared out as the fluttering sense of reason being slowly released by her strong grip. Someone was going to pay for losing what she needed to get to insure that the Quincies paid for what they did. Only when coming around the corner did she see the fading of a masked beast, and a black garbed girl standing over it. The burned pathway that Elke followed through the buildings led her to the source, and the reason why she lost her information. She could feel the pressure being emitted by her hands clenching into fists. The anger being drawn up to the surface. Ashisu Make her pay.....Make her pay.... Lost information because of her........

Elke's bow came before her as the particles of reiatsu were gathered into her hands. A cry of anger Elke vented out as the quiver was drawn as she started to charge forward. With her quiver pulled back, the bolt of light was forged and aligned. Her eyes focusing but not taking to the peak of that which could have insured a better shot at the girl. Her fingers released the arrow. The arrow soared cutting through the air towards the woman, yet, coming to miss as she didn't brace herself for a better shot as she ran towards her. It began now.

Had it not been for the girl's anger causing her to vocalize, Camila would've never even known that Elke was aiming, and preparing to fire at her. The moment she heard the noise, she immediately went on the evasive. The young shinigami turned to focus her full sight on the girl, and luckily, had done so quickly enough to prepare for the bolt travelling toward her. She jumped a foot or two to her left as fast as she could, just barely managing to avoid the attack itself as she took a moment to realize just what the hell had been going on. There was no way that whatever launched that was hollow. In fact, she'd recognized that method of fighting before...

Quincy. Out of any kind of combatant it could've been, it had to be a Quincy, didn't it? Her brow furrowed. Should the girl attacking her had been any other race, she would've done what she could to lay down arms; to avoid provocation on any level. But, that wasn't the case. She wasn't about to have another close encounter with one of these damned archers. As such, she began to steel herself for the attacks to come, and once again took the defensive. She knew in advance this wasn't going to be the best of options, considering how Quincy fought, but until then, she'd stay back and fight defensively until she had come up with a way to tackle the fight at hand. 

If nothing else, her best plan of action would be to put the Quincy's abilities to the test; see what this girl could really do, so she knew exactly what she was up against. That being said, though, this girl didn't seem... normal. She seemed almost evil in appearance, and far from what she'd expect from a Quincy; they usually wore all white, right? Didn't they generally have some kind of uniform on? Nevermind that, she needed to focus on the fight at hand, else there wasn't going to be much of a chance for survival. Camila slowly began to take steps forward, her blade out in front of her, as she prepped herself for any attacks that might've been ready to come from the girl before her.

Her fighting style as of recently had turned to what was easily referred to as a "bait and counter" way of fighting, as she no longer had the ability to be supported by her friend. Ever since that fight with the Espada, she'd been alone, though she was making the best of it. She'd gotten over what she thought would be the worst of it, and as such, she's been getting better in dealing with it all. As time passed, she'd eventually be able to fully fight on her own, but as for what was happening, she needed to make sure she focused on the fight so that she could get to that point; no sense in planning for the future if you're just going to end up dead soon, right?

As she originally had planned, she needed to get within melee distance. If she couldn't, then she didn't really stand a chance here, now did she? How this fight would go easily hinged on how quickly she could get within a reasonable distance for her to be able to fight the girl. After that hollow fight from before, her reiatsu wasn't looking the best, so casting spells constantly wasn't going to be a reasonable option. She'd need to fight off the girl where she could, putting emphasis on that "bait and counter" style. "Hey!" she called out, still keeping her focus on the girl, "why're you looking to fight? Are you sure this is something you'd want to do?" If nothing else, she'd try to see if she could get the girl's motivations for an attack from her. She could get other information later, but she wanted to test the waters to see if the girl would be receptive to banter during combat.

This Shinigami made her miss out on getting something fairly juicy from the Vandenreich. A missed opportunity to get some dirt on the faction that was responsible for putting her into the situation that she was in. For the lives that they will come to brainwash later on, and for those that were going to be wasted in their joke of a cause, Elke had to do something about them that will prevent that from happening. She wanted that end result to happen. But there was an issue now. The Sinner's own curse was getting to her. Elke not really being an even tempered girl, not even since she was in the Vandenreich ranks. She was ostracized from the get go in the Empire. She was an outcast for something that she couldn't control, or ever desired to be. But still, she was bare the burden that no one else wanted, not even her own mother.

That sense of effort slipping away from her fingers was casted upon the Shinigami. What she had in her hands was essentially taken from her. That anger swelled, even going as far as having the Sinner pulling her quiver again to target the girl that robbed her. "Hey, why're you looking to fight? Are you sure this is something you'd want to do?" Elke didn't say a word back as her actions did that for her. Her fingers slid away from her bow with the flow of a steadied breath. Her eyes were locked onto the target that she wanted to skewer. The only issue to that was her expertise with the bow on that matter.

The string vibrated violently before coming to a halt. Its strummed cord continued as quickly as the Class 6 arrow (-20) was released once again up at the Shinigami. Her usefulness with the bow wasn't really all that well. Too much passed before she went ahead and used the bow once more. This was more to the fear and paranoia that there Vandenreich Quincies all around her. Talking to people was hard enough as it was, more so when finding out that their numbers were growing, and the introduction to the Sternritters from what the Failure spoke of before. For Elke to freely use her reiatsu meant that at one point she would be found out by the Empire, or by those similar in nature to them. Wycliff came to mind. Someone who looked to be decent turned out to be similar to the Vandenreich.

His overall attitude had a drastic change to it. A suppose nice guy who seemed to be charming in a way. Despite having her own thoughts about him, he did help her with food without saying anything. The taste of the Creampuffs was what she could remember on how kind he was and - Elke shook her head. She couldn't let herself be distracted. Not that her curse would let up on it. She was lied to. She fell for it. The Shinigami were no different from the Vandenreich, and who was to say that this bitch was anything different from him. Her rage was coming up again, drawing the quiver once more to wait for the Shinigami's movements to cease, then fired again. Another Class 6 arrow (-20) came out from her spirit bow towards that of Camila, not wanting to trade words with the likes of her kind.

Though the arrow was released, Elke had to keep on the move. She didn't want to lose sight of the Shinigami if she ended up running. The bitch was going to pay for letting that sort of information getting away from her. Her feet carried her out and down the street to up the sidewalk. If the girl ended up running, then she would at least keep clear sight of where she ended up. Same was said if she was getting close too. Elke had the advantage over most Shinigami with distance, but that wasn't really her forte. She came to use everything about herself, at least that was what she was trained to do. Some parts she did so as a Quincy. She practiced archery to an extent that made her useful as any regular Soldat. However, she wasn't to be made a complete marksmen as to the fear and danger she would oppose if she couldn't be controlled either. This was why it was preferred that she went with endurance and stamina training instead. She was to strengthen her spirit as well as her physical capabilities beyond that of the average Soldat.

Another arrow was loaded onto her reiatsu bow, taking a moment to eye her target before releasing the quiver yet again (-20). Elke held no hesitation to use what she needed in her arsenal. She had no trouble with using the powers that she was granted, however, what she did have was some glimmer of fear about using her "other self." The monster that she didn't want to know for, to accept that she was after being called names. Her thoughts drifted back to those memories again, against her own will. She couldn't shake them off. She couldn't let them go. Elke was drifting again before her anger pulled her back to do what she needed to do.

Still watching the girl in front of her, Camila focused on side-stepping the arrows to the best of her capabilities. After the first, she knew that this wasn't going to remain to be an effective strategy. She needed to start to get in close, else she was going to get nowhere. It was at times like this she really wished she had Albin to fight alongside her. If he were here, she'd likely be able to use him in order to go for a quick blitz in melee range while she stayed back and provided the suppressive fire that would've been useful through the use of Kido. Unfortunately though, there was no use harping on it, as what happened in the past happened, and there was no way to go back and reverse it.

Deciding to press forward, Camila once again charged that bit of lightning into her fingers. She was going to try to strike back to the best of her ability here, and the bolt of electricity she had lost earlier would be more than enough to make up for it. She'd like to see how the girl dealt with the attack. If not well, then she'd look to put the bolt straight into her if possible. She held her fingers back by her cheek like the last time, as though she was charging it up before she launched it. She'd need to take the time to aim, and moving around while doing so wasn't exactly helping, but she needed to stay mobile else those arrows would hit her.

Speaking of arrows hitting her, though, while strafing from side to side, Camila was eventually forced to take a bolt straight to the shoulder. It was a combination of both her own carelessness, as well as the aim of the girl before her. Simply put, she was disappointed in herself. She wanted to do what she could in order to make sure it didn't happen again, and was sure as hell going to avoid taking another hit if she could help it. Either way, though, she had a bit of a trick up her sleeve, and was very reliant on the fact that it would hopefully work. If it didn't, she might not end up pulling through the fight with a victory under her belt, and she could very well end up pretty injured or worse from this whole thing.

Swiping her fingers in front of her from her side, Camila launched the bolt of lighting from her fingertips with an appropriate "Hado #4: Byakurai!" echoing from her own voice. The lightning travelling at the fairly fast speeds it did was headed straight for the girl's chest, and she prayed that it would hit. A Kido like that, even while she was as weak a shinigami as she was, could've still been devastating to herself. There was no telling what it could've done to the girl, as she hadn't been able to gauge her strength. Perhaps she'd power through it effortlessly, perhaps it might even take her out of the fight. Only time could really tell, and that was only if the hit had actually managed to land.

Whether or not it did land was beside the point, though, as she'd look to trace her opponent's movements to the best of her ability, and try to predict where her opponent would move to. Call it intuition or luck, either way Camila was banking on it. If she was right, she'd hold a hand out to the girl, making contact after a Shunpo straight to her, and attempt to bind the girl with hopefully relative ease. "Man, shaped by Divine hands, revert to the form before limbs, clutch at your own throat and be afraid!" she had said in her head, preparing the Bakudo, "Bakudo #1: Sai!" 

Should all have gone according to plan, and Camila's predictions been correct, the girl would bound by her arms, which would be immediately forced behind her back. From there, Camila would then try to force her to the ground, making it that much harder for the girl. She'd hold her down if she could, and if not simply back off and stop attempting. Either way, she'd begin to speak; "Please, cease the hostilities. I don't wish to keep fighting you, but you're coming close to leaving me no choice. I'll strike to kill if you continue to put a threat on my life." She tried to avoid sounding self-righteous, but it wasn't the most successful attempt she could've made, and she knew that. Either way, hopefully she'd been able to at the very least bind the girl.

The arrows were fired and send to fly at the cursed Shinigami welp. Elke didn't have reservations as to how she was going to beat the girl into a living pulp. There was no way that she was going to hold back from making sure that the bastard wasn't going to get away. She bounced from place to place to avoid what Elke had sent her way. Two arrows missed. Her accuracy wasn't all that great. She lacked the skill that all Quincies should have when wielding the bow. Her proficiency level with it was on average. Not skilled or amateurish either. She thought to herself as to probably train more with it when she does have the time to do so. If she was really going to be hunting down Quincies, then she would have to make use of every aspect of herself.

But, there was a fear to that idea too. She didn't want to delve deep into the aspect that she was labeled as. Elke was fighting back that urge despite being cursed with its power. That same curse that made her easily enraged. Such influence was coursing through her veins as she directed the arrows to her adversary. It drove the Sinner to fight, and furthermore, to destroy those that would get in the way, or hinder her. Her kindness was something that Elke had to get a grasp on. It had to be restrained. Looking back on it, Ashisu may have lived if she did not restrain. If only she had looked and listened, then her sister would have still been alive now. The two of them would have been able to fight the Vandenreich together.

Elke still felt that twisting knot in her stomach. She had merged the girl's flesh with her own. The taste of her flesh in her mouth couldn't be wiped away. It was a sin that Elke committed. One sin on top of another. Elke wanted to - "Hado #4: Byakurai!" Her head perked back up from facing the ground. Light was forming, cracking from where the Shinigami was standing. "A spell?" It must have been one of the spells that the Shinigami were known to use in fights. They had a large arsenal of sorts with each having their own particular styles. This much she knew. Something about Bakudo, Hado, or something like that. Whatever spell it was Elke had to dodge it, and quickly too. The Sinner's feet sprang out from where she stood. More like a dive really towards the side as the spell shot out at her.

Its concentrated reiatsu form scorched the air from the spot where she previously stood at. Her own heels could feel the heat coming from the impacted surface as she narrowly missed being struck by the bolt. Its intense shine reflected the appearance in which she saw earlier on when the Vandenreich member was killed. It had to be this Shinigami that did it. There was no doubt about that now seeing as the similarities were identical. The small hole made into the ground would have been her if she didn't dodge it. Skewered by a Shinigami spell would have made things more difficult later in the fight, if not immediate. Still, if she was going to continue using spells then Elke had to keep on moving. She couldn't take her time to aim her bow now.

It didn't take long for the Quincy to get back to her feet, though feeling the gush of wind spiral in front of her. Eyes widened, looking to see the Shinigami woman in front of her now. A quick peek to the last location she saw her, to be able to move from there to in front of the Sinner, could it be that she was a lot faster than what she first showed off? "Bakudo #1: Sai!" Another spell? "SHIT" Her foot slapped down hard into the floor. Heel twisting as quickly as it could while shuffling her body weight to turn itself away. TOO LATE. Her back was to that of Camila, not even a step away before she could feel an immense sense of pressure coming around her, snapping her arms onto her back.

Both of her wrists became chained together, interlocked by some kind of band of energy that pulled it towards the back of her waist. As if locking them into place, the sudden infliction on Elke made her fall to the floor. The Shinigami and the Sinner wrestled before Elke couldn't be able to move. Her strength wasn't able to be mustered because of her tumble, and lack of concentration. She didn't expect the Shinigami to pounce over her buckling body, squirming left and right with wild ambition. Elke snarled angrily from below, even hearing what Elke thought to be mocking. Please, cease the hostilities. I don't wish to keep fighting you, but you're coming close to leaving me no choice. I'll strike to kill if you continue to put a threat on my life." Was this Shinigami making fun of her? She was looking down on her?

This situation royally pissed Elke off beyond anything else. Her anger boiling over the rims of her control. Not only that the Shinigami stole something from the girl, but now was making fun of her too. Both arms twisted, pulling and tugging away from each other to little to no avail. The bindings that kept her arms together were too strong to wrestle out of, let alone peel them apart. A cry of anger came out of Elke's mouth. Utter frustration as she tried to get her legs back under her to stand back up. But with the wobbling going on, her strength would mean little if she couldn't keep her balance in this state.

This bastard. Do it... Fight. I can't. Let it go. Kill. Something was burning deep inside of her. Her veins were beginning to blister. The shade of her skin darkened. Horns splintering from the tips, shedding away the cast that kept them their average size. Elke was drowning. Burn..Let it flow Bones were snapping. Reiatsu spiking. Hills forming alongside her backside, mainly the back of her shoulder blades and waist.

Skin tenting upwards before splitting open. An emergence of bone piercing upwards that would come to tear through the material of her hooded jacket, and spiking up through the Shinigami if not avoided. Four horns spiking out of the Sinner's back, each one stretching out easily to match that the length of 5 foot long arms. Smaller spikes easily noticeable poking out through the sleeves of her jacket, as much as they did spring out along her legs. At the same time, reiatsu flowed along through her arteries. The four horns whipped about, lashing at the Shinigami girl with sharpened tips. Each one matching the physical strength that the girl herself wielded.

This was what Elke refused to acknowledge. This was the part of herself that she never wanted to use. The very thing that lurked deep inside since her birth. What the Shinigami would come to see in front of her was the full form of Elke's Saisei Oni. Her tail like horns directed themselves, firing off in stabbing motions to that of the Shinigami, leaving the Sinner to twitch and spasm on the ground from the sudden eruption of her new appendages. Her legs were pulled back, brought closer to her core. They pushed her upwards with two of the thorns acting as her brand new arms to balance the new form back onto its two feet. Elke's eyes now more clear than ever, stabbing to the figure of the Shinigami that stood before her. From there, she charged.

She couldn't believe what she was watching. As soon as the girl started to freak out, she immediately took a few steps back. She had no idea what was going on, and wasn't about to find out should she be about to get hurt. She readied her blade, and continued to back up. This... this girl was far from what she'd ever seen before. Something needed to be done about this girl. Now. She began to channel another bolt of lightning into her fingers, and prepared to fire it whenever necessary.

Unfortunately, this preparation wasn't one that was going to be able to be used, as the girl's new limbs were being effectively launched at her. She fought them off with her blade, but it was still quite a bit to keep up with, and very unwanted. Either way though, thus is the way of combat. She'd need to find some kind of way to get around it. As such, once these relentless attacks stopped, and the girl seemed to calm for a slight second, she began to once again charge another Kido. She was trying to process just what the hell was going on, but this girl was FAR unlike anything she'd ever seen before. Just what was she? She'd have time to ponder that later, but for now, she needed to focus on surviving.

As the girl charged her, she saw the perfect opportunity to strike where she could. The Kido obviously proved somewhat ineffective, so she was going to try a more physical approach. She forced her reiatsu into the length of her Zanpakuto, and prepared a defensive stance. If the girl was finally going to rush her down, then she'd been in her home turf for combat. She'd finally be able to fight the way she felt most comfortable! She smiled at the thought of being able to do so, and continued to watch the girl rush straight toward her.

The moment she ended up within melee range, Camila, through the use of another Shunpo, would shoot herself a bit to her left, and slash along the girl's side as forcefully as she could, using her Reiatsu Strength as the driving force behind the blow. If all went well, even against whatever this girl was, it'd certainly be a painful strike. Still, though, it was a risky maneuver that left herself open if predicted. It was a risky maneuver that she still decided to attempt anyway, solely for the purpose of looking to disable the girl where she could. She wasn't going to lose the fight if she could help it, even if that meant needing to leave herself open.

After an attack like that, she'd jump back and try to clear some space between the two of them. If unscathed, she'd focus on charging another Kido through her fingertips. She'd need to constantly mix up her fighting as to throw off the girl to the best of her ability, even if that meant that she'd be pushed out of her comfort zone. She mentally spoke the words she'd need to in order to cast the spell; Arise god of thunder! Awake mother of storms! Unleash the lightning on the sinners! As soon as she was done speaking to herself, she pointed her fingers toward the girl, and once again shouted the spell's name and number. "Hado #4: Byakurai!"

If she had taken a hit from the earlier attack, though, her focus upon gaining distance would be primarily to catch her breath and recuperate if she could. There was no telling just how strong this girl was, and what she could do. For all she knew, she could have another one of these outrageous forms up her sleeve. She didn't know what to expect, and needed to try to prepare either way, but this was her first time fighting someone like this. She genuinely had no idea what to do, and was quite easily improvising. She was going to be prone to making mistakes. 

Either way, though, she wondered if the girl would do the same thing. Perhaps taunting her would be a potential idea she could capitalize on? "Hey," she shouted, no matter what happened whether she'd been hit or not, "I heard your little shout earlier. What's the matter, can't deal with spells? If you can't, then come at me! Make whatever rush you want toward me, but come on and fight, dammit!" She was getting a bit more into it than she might've wanted, but even then she was still somewhat ready for the potential repercussions of her actions, unless the girl threw something unique at her.

Rage. Just pure anger is what Elke felt lunging her forward at the Shinigami girl. There were no thoughts that were able to remain up in her head, at least not those that could stay there before being eaten up by the mawing jaws of what she was feeling now. She wanted to kill, to maim, anything to help vent what was stirring inside her. The sounds of the world around her deafened as much as her mind narrowed. Tunnel vision is what Elke believed it to be, but that didn't matter. Thoughts poured in as quickly as they poured out. Nothing was making much sense at the time. Everything that she believed in was slowly fading away into the sea of red dye that was filling her vision. She howled. She cried out. The Sinner bared her fangs as though she lost the very essence of what made a Human, well, a Human really. It didn't matter what went on so long she was able to fulfill her wish; to kill all Quincies.

Wait. Was that her wish? Pain came to strike at her side. It stung. Burned even. The Shinigami that she charged at before didn't stay where she last saw her. She blurred out of her sights. Again? She quickly thought before that idea faded away, almost coming to look for her with bouncing eyes swaying from one side to the next. Fortunately, Elke wouldn't have to spend time looking for where the Shinigami went. Unfortunately, the girl went about to Elke's side, swinging her blade to that of the Sinner's side. The edge of the Shinigami's sword sliced into the reiatsu veins that lined down her waistline down to her legs, leaving a bloody splat at the surface of the wound. It bolted up to her brain, sending chills and another cry of anguish that pierced out from her mouth.

It had cut through, burning as much as it singed wound with some sort of heat. Fire? Reiatsu? Something hot pierced up and down along her nerves very so much as it was cold too. Senses confused, not knowing what to tell the body. Elke could only acknowledge the pain that was there, a pain that she instinctively lashed out at. Or rather gripped. What the Shinigami would come to find out was that the blade wouldn't easily be withdrawn from the wound. The metal sheen of her Zanpakuto will have found itself clutched by bone like structures forming from within the flesh that it sliced into. White fangs protruding out that pinched down on the surfaces of the blade with the same physical strength that the Sinner had. Between the two, it was obvious who was stronger in this field.

It was though the side of her body had altered itself into that of a mouth. A bloodied slit made itself out to be lips forming. From behind those twin curves flowing inward was that of the canines that lined the wound itself, almost from where her belly button was curving around the side to that of her spine. It gaped shut, but the whites of the fangs were not easily dismissed. A mouth had formed from where the wound was made, gripping onto the blade, refusing to let go. Another moment, the newly made arms sprung back into action, as though to run through the arms that were holding the sword's hilt, skewering them with two arms, while the other two shot forward to stab into the girl's shoulders.

The consequences were there, even when Elke stepped towards Camila while her arms were going to stab her, if the Shinigami refused to release the blade, then the chances of her getting stabbed her high. Wrestling her weapon free was there, but still wouldn't have stopped the arms from getting to her, with a Sinner closing the distance. What more unknowns were there about her should the distance be closed. Elke's natural arms were still bounded behind her, though that didn't seem to restrain her from causing bodily harm to the Shinigami. Not to mention the reiatsu that was instilled into the blade, bits of it was being taken into the mouth to feed on. Such a result wouldn't really do anything negative to that of the Shinigami. What the mouth did wasn't to steal reiatsu away, but instead use it for its own means. A means that took on the form of another mouth opening at the tip of one of the fangs aiming for the girl's right shoulder.

Its nature resembling one that her wound shared, yet smaller in size. Nothing that was large, but still could be deemed effective due to Mosaic Fangs overall ability. If this mouth was ignored, then surely it would have clamped down onto the girl's flesh, keeping her from being able to get away from the monster that was transforming in front of her. A monster that was seemingly evolving with nearly every moment that went on. What was there to decide?

The shinigami watched in horror as this girl's wound seemed to almost transform. She tried to pull her blade out in an attempt to flee from close combat, but surprisingly to no avail. The wound, having now changed shape into something like that of a mouth, slammed shut around her zanpakuto, stopping it mid-slash. She tried to jam it out, doing what she could to pull it free, but to no avail. It was lodged pretty tightly in, and she was not going to be able to get it free. Rather, she merely decided to give up, and continue with her plan anyway.

Jumping back in order to clear space between the two of them, she began to focus her reiatsu into the tips of her fingers once more, looking to fire off another bolt of lightning. Whether or not the girl would have a way to counter it at this point was up in the air. She had absolutely no idea what to expect anymore, and couldn't really do much to figure that out except for continue with the fight at hand. The whole situation had been dangerous, to say the least, and she needed more than anything to make sure she was careful if she wanted to win the fight. Hopefully, a Byakurai was just the right tool needed in order to do so!

Unfortunately for her, though, as she began to think about actually using one, her shoulder was immediately pierced by... whatever the girl had grown from her. She winced in pain, being taken back a bit from the attack, and immediately looked to shunpo away from her. In the process, while the appendage was no longer in her shoulder, she managed to tear her arm up much worse than was likely the original plan. The attack went from what seemed to be a pierce, into more of a slash, as her body turned away from the appendage and allowed it to slice up her arm.

Once clearing some distance between her and the girl, Camila gripped tightly at her shoulder, now pretty badly wounded. Her breathing was beginning to pick up rather quickly, and she couldn't really calm herself. This woman was certainly something else; something unlike what she'd ever thought to be something she'd encounter. What exactly was she? The time for pondering that later would come, though, as she needed to focus on surviving. She needed to go on the offensive if she could.

Facing the girl from behind her, having positioned herself where Camila could only hope she couldn't see, she began to once again focus her reiatsu into her fingertips, but this time using her right hand instead of her left. Her left shoulder had been pretty badly damaged, and she didn't want to put further stress on the limb if she could avoid it. So, she began to condense her own energy around her fingers, eventually channeling them into a familiar, lightning-like form.

As quickly as she could, she discharged the bolt toward Elke, blasting her with a weakened, wordless version of the kido, but one that was still certainly going to pack a punch behind it. The bolt of raw electricity shot from her fingertips at a fairly fast speeds, straight for the wound she had already left on the girl. Why open up new wounds when you can target a preexisting one and look to make it worse? This was the mindset that Camila had while looking to target the girl. If nothing else, hopefully it'd be enough to give her even a few seconds of time to recover from the nasty wound she had just taken. She'd certainly need it, if she could get it.

Elke winced at the pain at her side. The blade that the newly formed mouth had gripped stayed from the Shinigami stayed in place, but the wound that it made moments before caused the Sinner to bleed a bit. The mouth wasn't bloodied for a reason but that of the injury that the Shinigami gave to Elke. Only afterwards was the mouth formed to keep the girl's Zanpakutou in place, and to force the Shinigami to make a decision of leaving it or not. What Elke came to witness was the struggle the Shinigami having to go through in an attempt to pry her weapon free, only to result in the mouth coming to munch on her left shoulder. A bite into the girl's flesh occurred when her appendage made contact. Not a deep bite, but a solid mouth full to cause some bleeding to occur. Was it as bad as the cut into Elke's side? Definitely not, so if this came down to a fight of attrition, then Elke was going to be the one to lose out on this. She couldn't let that happen.

The mouth made by Hell Beast was keeping the wound from forming entirely. What Elke could do was use up her reiatsu in order to keep her injury as a new mouth. Doing that would keep the bleeding down to a minimal, so she wouldn't have to worry about losing too much blood. The only down side to that was burning up reiatsu to maintain it. Elke winced again when Camila tugged herself away. The exertion of the Shinigami doing so only made Elke's own body jerk forward, forcing those injured tender muscles to clench up together. Fangs gritted tightly seeing that the bite wasn't enough to keep the girl in place or within arm's reach. She was trying to create space between them. Elke had to wait for a moment to recover from that jerking pain in her side before she could move her feet again.

Elke had enough willpower to keep her technique going, but not enough to delegate it to two conscious actions. She needed the moment to recompose herself, but that itself was costly. Camila was already creating an array of light in her hand. "Another spell?!" The Shinigami was going on with another spell, and Elke wasn't capable of avoiding something so close. She didn't have the ability to step like Camila could. Her body wasn't familiar with step techniques just yet which meant she wouldn't be able to dodge it. That only left the alternative with one of the newly formed appendages came lunging forward. It's length whipping forward. It allowed itself to be consumed in the glowing light that the Shinigami produced. Her new limb would come to take the hit that Elke would have taken.

Even if it was not originally a part of Elke's body, it was constructed from her body from the result of her Sinner's release. It's composition was that of her own flesh and muscle, making it a sensitive as she was if it was able to be torn apart. In this case, Camila's reiatsu was strong than Elke's defenses. 'AAGGHHH!" Elke cried out as the beam of reiatsu tore through the intervening appendage. It burned through the Sinner's limb as it sought out to protect the main body. Again Elke was brought down to her knees while trying to keep herself up from the pain. Both legs shook, trembled, then caved in. The Sinner couldn't keep herself standing up when feeling one of her limbs being burned into by concentrated reiatsu. She had come to sacrifice one of her release's appendages in order to protect herself, causing her to tear up from the pain. Yet, the rage was still there. She wanted the Shinigami dead.

She needed something more than what she has already. But before she could even decide how to approach that thought further she disappeared. That annoying movement was used again. A stepping technique that caused Camila to move out of Elke's sights. The Sinner had to look for her, though that didn't take much considering that the Shinigami didn't go that far off. She only moved behind Elke, some distance away with reiatsu already gathering up again. "SHIT NOT AGAIN!" Elke slowly climbed back to her feet only to drop down again. Her side felt hot again. Her eyes fell onto her tender side to see that the mouth was no longer there. It went away. Elke couldn't maintain it's form which caused the wound to return, bleeding profusely this time around. Her transformation kept the blood from leaking out as it was now as much as it did the pain. She couldn't move the way she was now, at least not immediately.

There was no way for her to avoid the coming spell but to resort to what she did before. Two of the over grown throwns coiled themselves around her body to act as a protective shell as she heard the discharge of the spell was released. As it happened before, the thorns collapsed under the condensed form of the reiatsu bolt that struck their protective figure, leaving the Sinner to cry out in pain again. Elke shuttered in both pain and anger. Pain that her limbs were burned, shredded into scraps of muscle and flesh that hung as they uncurled themselves from around the Sinner's body. Three of them were destroyed, leaving Elke with the one remaining thorn to use. She was bleeding from the wounds, and wouldn't be long before she could passed out. Anger, a sensation that she felt boiling up constantly as the fight went on, and to the situation that she found herself in being unable to move without some amount of rest. If she were to move, then her wounds would open up and make her bleed out more.

Elke couldn't risk it. She had to stay put and heal first. What proved to be an issue for her was the range fighting. Something that Quincies were suppose to be good at, yet Elke had a problem with it. Her body was starting to show signs of fatigue. Her mind wandered towards keeping her wounds closed, still trying to rip the shackles that kept her arms tied together. She hated it. She hated the Vandenreich. She hated the Shinigami. She wanted more. More strength. A way to win. A way to keep fighting. Elke cried out again as her arms struggled to pull themselves apart, and to free herself from her bondage. She needed a new way to fight. More. More. She needed a way to reach the Shinigami from where she was now. Elke's reiatsu poured into the palms of her restrained hands. She was bringing her strength there that when condensed brought upon the form of her regular bow. But that wasn't enough. She needed more. Something that she didn't need to use her hands to accomplish. She focused. More...More....MORE. (-100 Form property)

An image came to mind. Her bow began to emit a small light with the image that she saw in her mind. The light caressed the form of her bow, shaping it, molding it into what she desired. Or rather, the next stage in which was given to her by blood line alone of being part Quincy. The bow restructured itself to mount its new form to that of silver metallic wing rooting out from her left shoulder. A skeleton like structure that seemed almost organic in nature, but shined with a reflective metal surface. A wing that expanded outwards easily of four feet away from her body and directing itself to that of the Shinigami. Elke wanted more. She needed to do so in a hurry. Yet even the Sinner did not notice to what was really going on, that the image she had in her head took physical form in reality, even to the point of releasing the arrows that would soon fire at Camila.

The wing expanded, each individual metallic feather twitching. A signal. A signal that soon made the feathers turn to light. A light that took on the form of an arrow that was directed towards the Shinigami. Then, it fired. (-20 Class 6 arrow) A single arrow shot out towards the Shinigami, almost as if it was the scout. No, not a scout, a starter as to what was going to come next with each of the feathers twitching as the feather had done before. Soon, five more feathers converted themselves into bolts of light that mirrored an arrow. Five more arrows shot out from the wing out towards the Shinigami. (-20 Class 6 arrows x5) Elke didn't know what was going on as her mind was more focused on the single thought of killing the Shinigami. Her head pulling up to keep the girl in her sights as another volley of arrows were fired. This time around there were ten. (-20 Class 6 arrows x10) Elke was losing control as to how many arrows she was firing off, only to leave debris and whatever the arrows struck left behind.

Camila smiled over the current predicament she had put the girl before her into. She wasn't particularly fond of hearing the absolutely agonizing screams the girl had been letting off; in fact, it was quite disheartening. Something about it made her exceedingly uncomfortable, and almost feel bad for everything she had been doing. That being said, though, there was a serious threat on her life here. She couldn't just sit by while she was going to be under the threat of an attack, and she needed to act in order to preserve herself in this particular situation.

And preserving herself was the intent here. She wasn't going to kill the girl if she didn't need to, and was hoping that, at the very least, she'd be able to incapacitate her. Thankfully, while the girl before her was recovering from the attacks Cami had thrown at her, it was giving her the time she so desperately needed in order to catch her breath from the wound now sitting upon her shoulder. She winced, feeling a surge of pain shoot through her arm, and even into the rest of her body at a lower degree as she tried to move her arm to the best of her ability. It hurt like hell, but nothing she couldn't fight through if she could get a rush of adrenaline going of some kind.

Unfortunately, though, while she was taking the time to recover, the girl seemed to be preparing something. She wasn't fond of the thought. Before she could actually realize what was going on, some kind of wing manifested from the girl's back. It caught her off-guard. With something so... unnatural that was this girl's transformation, what was with this wing? It didn't really fit in with the sort of image she had from the girl. Was it something separate from this form the girl had entirely? She felt a shiver go down her spine.

Before she knew it, an arrow was sent straight for Camila. Due to the speed it was travelling, she had no real chance to pick up on it in time, let alone avoid it, and it lodged itself in her already fairly injured shoulder. She instinctively reached to grip her shoulder tightly, feeling the searing pain now spread even more intensely as she brought herself to a knee. She glared at the girl before her, gritting her teeth together in some sort of rage. She knew it was due to herself being lost in thought that she got hit, but still seemed to blame the girl for it.

This anger didn't seem to last too long, as it was quickly eclipsed by immense amounts of pain as she felt the next five arrows find a sheathe in her body. She held back a shout to the best of her ability, as these arrows were scattered across her skin, each lodging themselves in different places. Moving at this point wasn't going to be easy. She needed to get out of the line of fire for sure, else she wasn't going to last. These wounds alone weren't something she could endure if she had more of them, as the pain from these was already beginning to be just a bit too much for the shinigami.

Through the use of a Shunpo, Camila quickly launched herself above the girl before the last of most of the arrows could hit. She had taken two more to her legs, but the others she managed to avoid. She took to the air, letting out a shout in agony due to the fact that she was effectively a living pincushion at this point; moving in general hurt like hell at this point, but she needed to keep going. She couldn't let herself fall here. Much to her surprise and relief, it didn't feel like any of the arrows managed to make their way through bone, and instead only tore through muscle, skin, and other sections of her body. At least nothing was broken.

Using her good arm, the shinigami did what she knew best, and prepared another Hado directed toward the girl as she started to lose her height in the air. The plan she had was far from practical, and so much as a single mistake could leave her open for a devastating counterattack, but a bit of recklessness was required when she didn't feel like she was going to last much longer. She needed to make these last few moments count, and she damn well planned on doing just that.

As she continued to lose more and more height, she allowed for another Byakurai to charge against her fingers. She dared not speak the incantation, as that'd only give away what her plan was. In order for this to work, it needed to be a surprise attack. If it was going to work. As she continued to fall, Camila would focus every bit of concentration she could to pointing her fingers toward the girl's back. Through anything the girl had to offer in retaliation, whether it be another rain of arrows, an attack with the last remaining appendage, or even a combination of both. If she was going to go down, she'd look to take the girl with her if she could.

Once she was in point blank range, Camila forced her reiatsu outward in another bolt of lightning. Hado #4: Byakurai! She shouted in her head, as the blast released and hopefully went straight into the Quincy's upper back. From here, the shinigami let herself fall onto the Quincy, hopefully using her as a way to cushion the landing, even if it was by just a bit, while also looking to slam the Quincy into the ground from the force of gravity. Granted, she didn't weigh very much, so it likely wasn't going to be much of an impact, even after being about twenty or so feet in the air above her. At this point, she was likely to be exceedingly exhausted, after having taken as many hits as she was forced to.

Why. Why isn't this damn Shinigami going down? Why isn't she dead already? Elke repeated to herself in her head. Regardless of the amount of arrows she shot out the girl didn't go down. Her blurred motions moved beyond what Elke could track, at least not in her current state. Her vision was already blurring from the loss of blood. The Sinner kept movement of her own body down to a minimum in order to help keep her wounds closed, or at least from bleeding out as much as before. Her clothes were horribly stained with red blots. The street that she remained on was stained with the same fluids. A bit of blood here, and a little bit there. Honestly, she must have lost almost a pint of blood already. She didn't know to be honest as to how much blood she lost. Honestly, whatever she lost must have been a lot considering her head felt light and almost in a daze.

Losing reiatsu wasn't a big deal, but made it bothersome to keep it up. She had to take a breather. Some air would have done her nicely. The Shinigami blurred out of sight again only to see her falling. Her movements were slowing down than what they were before. Not yet....Just..a bit further. A little more... Just a little bit...further. she thought to herself. Elke wasn't use to her transformations yet. The form property that manifested took a lot to produce given her first time using it. Its appearance was sheerly out of pure luck that it came when it did. Still though, by releasing it now only made it more taxing to maintain control over it. The Sinner was exerting herself as is on top of her Demon form. Both were exhausting to use, and partially losing.

Despite not being originally a part of her, the broken thorns that protruded from her backside were apart of her nonetheless. A part of her like an arm or that of a leg. Appendages that she grew out from her own body and were used as such given the amount of control she had over them. All the more reason why they hurt. All the more reason why she felt the pain that she did when they were destroyed, and left broken. Elke wanted to throw up from the nausea she felt, looking at the remaining gore that was left hanging off of her back. It was disgusting really.

The Sinner couldn't waste more reiatsu without knowing whether or not they will hit. With sure fire way to know that they will hit, it was more of wasted effort. Given her predicament, she couldn't afford to lose more. All the more reason why she had to wait for an opportune moment to end it. Fat chance or her dealing a finishing blow really. Elke felt heavy. Her body slowly slumping down onto itself from the sheer weight. The only thing that she could utilize was that of her head to try to track the Shinigami's movements. Her own being sloppy, only to see the girl in black garbs blur out of sight once more. She heard it. A familiar crackle of reiatsu that was used before. It was soft, but still present. A small shadow looming over her, descending down upon her like a predator. Her lazy eyes drifted to come to see the Shinigami falling. SHIT!

Elke's wing snapped to attention, utilizing the adrenaline of the surprise to move it. But it hesitated. Elke's eyes widened. Her wing stalled. Why? Why now? Her mind didn't realize it, but her body recognized the sense of shock that surged throughout her nerves, seizing them up. The mixture of pain and blood loss forced her body to respond in the only way that it could to prevent itself from destroying itself further. Or perhaps, it struck its overall limit. Then she'd come to feel it, a familiar piercing sensation that came out of her chest. An inch or so from beneath her collar, Elke felt a familiar sting that kissed her upperback for but a moment. That sensation later coming to be a bright stream of light that erupted like a thread from her chest. Elke couldn't process the technique that was used to inject itself into her body, nor the weight that came after to squish her.

Numbness overcame her body. Shadows coming to shroud the edges of her eyes as the fatigue was settling. The front of her body pressed against the ground, the particles of reiatsu dispersing from her wing to reunite with the air around them. She was so tired. Portions of her thorns were fading away, reversing the darkened effect her Demon's release had done to her skin. The shredded gore of her thorns slowly dissipating just like her Bow Form, turning to ash as pieces floated off into the air. Not......yet....No......et... Just one final squeeze. One last stitched effort before her fatigue took over, before her release was completely undone. She had to squeeze out the last bit of reiatsu from her body, one last momentum of her anger towards the Shinigami girl that resided on her back. She pushed out small fragments of energy from the drum within her core, sending steady streams out into the small horns that were lined down her backside.

Soon, ..Hell.....Fa..ng. Reiatsu infused into the small horns roared to life, expanding their size and length outwards as curved talons. Piercing thorns that doubled as blades stretching out five feet from the Sinner's body. As thin as they were, their overall cutting ability was there, and if the girl was still laying directly on top of the Sinner, the scene would be that of a Doll being skewered by four sword like spines puncturing through soft tissue and material. From there, and only then did the release fall apart, turning the girl back into her original form as she went ahead to slumber for a bit to regain her strength.

After everything that had gone down resolved, Camila was tired. No matter what happened, that final stretch was to be her last; at least, for this fight, anyway. As such, she was struggling to remain conscious after colliding with the girl before her. Doing so was a hassle, even if she did realize she had the time to break. A few more seconds, and she'd be out. Though, a few seconds after impact was all it really took for the Quincy to make one more retaliatory attack, it seemed.

She realized something was coming as the girl spoke. She wasn't sure what, but the word "Hell" alone was enough to register as something she should've prepared for, but she couldn't physically will herself to actually do so. Her eyes widened, but she felt she had nowhere near the stamina to even move at the current moment. The fact of the matter was that at the current moment, moving seemed to be an impossibility. Worry shot through her, as did five long spikes a few moments later.

The moment the girl was pierced, her consciousness began to fade at an exponential speed. She couldn't keep herself awake as it stood, and this attack wasn't exactly helping in the slightest. She tried to persevere, she really did, but in the end it wasn't quite enough for her to remain conscious after it was all said and done. Truth be told, at this point, even so much as a simple punch would've likely taken her out. This Quincy had quite easily pushed Camila further than she had been really pushed before, and that was likely to be a title that'd be held for a long time. Her vision blurred as she passed out.

Bouncing this back with a Tie, neither girl is conscious at the current moment.
