-Basic Information-
Name: Aldwin Blackwood
Age: 23
Birthday (Month/Day): 11/03
Blood Type: AB+
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Appearance-
Height/Weight: 6’2”/181 lbs.
Physical Description:
Aldwin Rose Blackwood is a Nakabakki-Quincy that stands at six feet two inches, and weighs in at one hundred and eighty one pounds. His general appearance is that of a normal human, with almost nothing out of the ordinary. His height is fairly average, and his weight is only as high as it is due to it all being muscle. He’s fairly muscular, and it shows when he’s not donning his armor. Unfortunately for him, his left arm appears similarly to what it'd be in his Saisei Oni, fairly scaled in shape as well as taking on a natural "demonic" look with various deep reds accentuating up to his elbow. Around his arm are tight, large chains signifying that he is, indeed, a Nakabakki.
Starting from the top down, Aldwin is quite the attractive young man. His face is completely clear of any blemishes, scars, or any kind of flaw to begin with. All in all, he’s quite proud of how flawless his skin is. His eyes are a deep brown, and rest plainly atop his face. His nose is an average size, not too large or not too small, and also rests neatly right under the middle of his eyes, as most noses do. His smile is certainly a sight to behold, effectively resonating the definition of purity.
His jawline is IMPECCABLE. There’s very few jawlines that can keep up with the natural beauty of Aldwin’s, and that’s just a cold hard fact. It’s one of the many traits about him that add to his appearance. All embellishing aside though, Aldwin is incredibly attractive, by a large majority of standards. His hair is a strawberry blond, and fairly curly. It gently rests upon the top of his head without any real issue, though it does seem like a bit of a mess. Though, it’s a sort of organized mess, if that makes any sense. He keeps it just neat enough so that it doesn’t look absolutely unruly, but messy enough to add a sort of boyish charm to him.
Aldwin’s clothes are generally fairly simple, depending on the weather. On warmer days, Aldwin can easily be seen in a pair of black jeans, a simple blue t-shirt, and a black pair of sneakers. He tends to not dress extravagantly, and will make that quite apparent. During the colder days of the year, this trait still holds true. Instead, he’ll throw a long-sleeved shirt on in place of the t-shirt, but the jeans are generally an all-year-round thing. He also tends to like to wear his favorite scarf, but this isn’t always the case.
When he’s in a combat scenario, Aldwin is much more likely to be donning a full suit of spiritual armor. He very heavily views himself as a knight, and likes to follow that sort of lifestyle. As such, the armor he wears is a full suit of half-plate armor. This armor’s primary colors are white and gold, with various amounts of navy blue in the undergear. In terms of description, we’ll begin from the top, and work our way down.
On his face, Aldwin likes to wear an eye mask, as to keep his identity a secret when fighting, or in general. If he has to use his Saisei Oni, he doesn’t want people to know that it’s actually him upon using it. As such, he’ll keep himself secretive. The mask is a simple white eye mask made of spiritual steel. While it provides no real armor or protection, it’s primary use is to keep his identity unknown to those he’s engaged in combat with. The top of the mask is lined with a black finish, and small, rectangular holes are carved where his eyes should be, allowing just enough area where he can see out without it being a hindrance, but not enough to where people can see in the mask.
Underneath all of his armor, is a simple outfit, similar to that of what medieval knights used to wear underneath their armor, minus the chainmail. It’s made almost entirely of thick cloth, with a few cotton rings around his elbows and knees, as to make movement on the joints not painful due to eventual chafing. The uppermost layer of this undergear ends with a short tabard, bearing a golden and navy blue diamond on the bottom of it. The very top of the tabard is scrunched up around his neck, as to give an appearance similar to that of a large scarf, much like knights have been seen with.
Directly above this undergear is his suit of half-plate. On his chest is a breastplate, somewhat segmented and an alabaster white. On the center of the plate is a small, golden diamond that protrudes slightly, but this is somewhat eclipsed by the scrunched portion of his tabard. His shoulders provide a similar section of plate, acting as fairly large pauldrons that protect not only his shoulders, but upper arms in general. Around the gloves on his hands are a pair of gauntlets, still holding true to that alabaster color. On both the pauldrons and gauntlets are golden accents, each tipped with a similar golden diamond to the one on the chest.
On his hips rest similar armor compared to what the rest of his suit, with the plates being segmented, and having the same accented pattern on the suit. Unsurprisingly, these plates also bear the same small golden diamonds that the rest of his armor does. His greaves also bear the same marks and alabaster color, as well as his sabatons. The greaves extend up to his knees, acting as a sort of way to protect the joints. Seeing as it would be crippling - quite literally - should his knees be damaged, they’re well protected by armor.

Dislikes: [Create a List below.]
↪ Saisei Oni: Aldwin is far from a fan of his Saisei Oni. He feels as though it’s more of a hindrance to his goals than a help. As such, he’ll use it sparingly.
↪ His Father: Aldwin doesn’t have a very sound relationship with his father. He’s the reason that Aldwin has ties to hell, after all. As such, he’s got quite a bit of pent-up aggression toward the man.
↪ Hollows: They can easily poison him, and they’re mindless beasts. This one doesn’t really need much of an explanation.
↪ Arrancar: These are the exact same way. While not as mindless, they’re CERTAINLY violent, and he’s not very wanting of anything to do with that.
↪ Quiet: He’s not one to do well in quiet situations, he’ll start to get antsy. Natural noise is a relaxant for him.
↪ Hypocrisy: Aldwin has strong feelings against those who tend to be hypocritical a large majority of the time, those feelings not being positive in the slightest.
↪ Addiction: A problem his family has struggled with in the past. It’s a problem that he hopes he’ll never have to face.
↪ Hell: It’s a place of damnation. It’s a place he doesn’t want to end up in. This driving factor is one of the main reasons he is who he is today.
↪ Death: He’s not a fan of entertaining the thought of what’s after death. Granted, the whole afterlife thing has been explained to him before, but he doesn’t want to know where he’ll end up.
↪ Money: This is an interesting subject. He doesn’t hate money, per se, it’s more of a hate that it’s a resource he needs to use to fuel his projects.
Likes:
↪ Innovation: Aldwin is a tech genius. As such, he likes to see breakthroughs happen when he’s working on something.
↪ Music: It helps him get into a state of relaxation. Specifically classical music works the best, but he’ll listen to pretty much everything.
↪ Games: Aldwin tends to play a lot of games, whether these be video games or board/card games. He’s a bit of a nerd.
↪ Quincy: Being one himself, Aldwin tends to really like Quincy. He’ll go as far as to look out for other Quincy before anyone else.
↪ Fullbringers: They’ve quite a unique ability going on. If he gains the time to actually begin researching this, he certainly will.
↪ Bounts: See Fullbringers. They’re a unique race, and he’d like to see if he can’t add a bount’s special brand of longevity to himself.
↪ Books: Aldwin is an avid reader. It’s a pastime he’s enjoyed since he was young, and a pastime he’ll likely continue enjoying for years to come.
↪ Making Money: While not fond of the fact that money makes the world go ‘round, Aldwin will certainly do what he can in order to make the money he needs.
↪ Research: Knowledge is power. This is a statement that Aldwin tends to live by. Whenever he can, he’ll be taking notes on anything and everything, and trying to gain more information wherever he can.
↪ Energy Drinks: Aldwin tends to keep a Monster by him whenever he’s doing his own thing, and not actively in combat. Say he’s sitting on his computer late at night, he’ll have at least one of these by him at all times.
Flaws:
↪ Aldwin tends to get distracted easily. It’s not that his attention span is short, it’s that he tends to get disinterested in topics quite easily.
↪ Aldwin genuinely detests his Saisei Oni. As such, he’s going to hold back constantly to prevent any kind of use of it.
↪ He tends to talk. A lot. To the point where it could easily be found annoying.
↪ He has a general disregard for those he's not actively close with. He can still get along with people, but he won’t go out of his way in order to actively help people he’s not accustomed to.
↪ Fighting is not his strong suit. He’s not the strongest, or the fastest, or the most talented in combat. He tries to make up for these shortcomings with his own inventive tech, though.
Habits:
↪ Once again, Aldwin tends to talk a lot. He’s never been one for shutting up, especially when he gets on a conversation topic he enjoys.
↪ Should he be tight on funds, and require some kind of monetary investment, he may just end up asking people for spare Ryo in order to cover those prices.
↪ He tends to prioritize his research above almost everything else, including himself. He keeps up with hygiene, but because of this he may go long periods of time without eating or sleeping to put time into his work.
Fears:
↪ Aldwin has a constant fear of his work not being good enough. Sometimes he tends to feel like his research is all for naught, and will occasionally scrap projects altogether because of this looming feeling.
↪ Even with the whole hollow and shinigami thing explained to him, Aldwin still fears what is going to happen when he dies. He doesn’t know where he might end up.
↪ Finally, he fears he might not be able to find his place in the world. He wants to find a place where he can proudly show the fruits of his work and actually have the projects he does matter.
Goals:
↪ Aldwin’s first goal is to be recognized for his work. He wants some kind of credit for the time and effort he puts into his research projects, no matter what he might have to go through in order to do so.
↪ Another goal of his is to have his own shop. During his free time, Aldwin is constantly tinkering with various gadgets and items, and one day, he’d like to sell these items, and hopefully make a profit off of them.
↪ Finally, Aldwin looks to be able to remove his hellish half. He absolutely detests it, and will do anything in his power to actually get rid of this form, should he be able to.
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Overall Personality:
Aldwin Blackwood is a somewhat honorbound man. He’s something of a chivalrous man, focusing purely on his honor. He’s the kind of person to treat people right, as long as they’re those close to him. If it’s anyone else outside of his immediate circle, he’s not one to really care for them. Not to say he couldn’t be bothered, but for him to actually look out for those people, he’ll need to be given a reason, generally that reason being through making friends with people and forging those close bonds.
Should someone be on his good side, he will certainly go out of his way to secure the wellbeing of that person. He’ll make sure they’re healthy, in a good mental state, and willing to aid them in any way shape or form he can. If someone isn’t on his good side, then he’ll generally be fairly neutral toward them, but won’t go out of his way to do anything for that person. He’s somewhat the same to people on his bad side, as well, as he won’t go out of his way to harm them, but he does take a generally negative-neutral stance toward them.
If one thing is for sure, it’s that he’s incredibly passionate about his research. He’ll do anything in order to secure the integrity of his research should he need to, and will go out of his way to prove why he’s correct. He’s incredibly argumentative when it comes to his research, his projects, or anything of the like, and will go so far as to write up a forty-five page paper as to why your opinion on the subject doesn’t matter, is wrong, and why you should change your mind to better align with his beliefs.
He’s not one to usually accept help when it comes to his research. Anything that he tends to do he tends to do alone. Only those he’d consider his best of best friends are those he might allow to aid him in some way. Other than that, he’s going to take no outside help on the matter. If someone forces their assistance on him, he’s likely to make an enemy that won’t clear up. If someone intentionally ruins or destroys his projects or research, he will do everything in his power to make their life a living hell to repay for what they had done.
That being said, though, overall Aldwin is a fairly kindhearted young man. He’s a person that has no issue going out of his way for those he cares for. If someone can manage to stay on his good side, they’ll be a friend for life. There’s a good chance he could even go as far as to focus a project for them, if it would benefit that person in some way. He’s an amazing person in that regard, but at the same time he’s not someone to do very much for random strangers. He’ll do next to nothing at all for strangers, in fact.
Aldwin hates hell. Simple as that. He’s not a fan of hell, nor hell races. In fact, should someone be a hell race, he’s likely not going to go out of his way in order to befriend this person. It might be racist in some regard, sure, but after all the shit he had to go through with his father, it’s perfectly reasonable for this to be the case. At least, in his own head it is. Other people might not be fond of this idea of being racist toward hell races, including the hell races involved, but he’d be damned if that wasn’t effectively the point.
Aldwin tends to have a childlike naivety to him. He tends to smile quite frequently, and all-around acts like a mature child, if that makes any sense. He’s constantly filled with a sense of wonder and curiosity, and will stop at nothing to explore those. At the same time, he can still be quite mature should he need to, and even seriousness is an expression he can wear from time to time, should the circumstances call for it. He’s more of a gentle giant than anything, though, and doesn’t like to be overly serious.

-Powers-
Fighting Style:
Aldwin is a bit of an unconventional fighter. Instead of using a primary weapon, Aldwin, being a crafter of sorts, tends to use his own weapons in the midst of a fight. He does what he can to not rely on a release, and as such, is much more versatile than a release-based fighter, while also sacrificing a bit of his ability to hit as hard against one of those fighters. In turn, his capabilities are theoretically limitless, as he can always craft an item or buy certain items in order to best suit what he might need in certain situations. As such, he’s likely to be much more capable in combat than those with a potent release.
Upon entering combat, Aldwin is going to take a moment to decide how he’s going to approach the fight at hand. He’s got plenty of options, especially with the mass amount of items he’ll be able to carry on his person at any given time. Depending on the route he’d like to go, he has a few options. Firstly, is the firearms route; blitzing foes through the use of guns and other firearms. Next, would be fighting in melee range through the use of various spiritual steel weaponry. This will keep him effective in combat, allowing him to rush down an opponent in any way he might need to in order to emerge victorious. Next up, is a release-focused fighting style. While not his preferred method of combat, he can certainly fight in this way should he need to, with his Saisei Oni being especially potent.
Should he decide to go with a Gunslinger approach, Aldwin is going to begin the fight by summoning his guns if he decides not to keep them on his person before the fight. From here, his main goal is to suppress enemies through the use of cold, hard lead. He’ll do what he can in order to keep at a range with this style, and will avoid going into melee combat whenever he can. After all, a ranged fighter in melee combat is effectively a death sentence if they’re unprepared for it. As such, he’ll do what he can in order to prevent himself from taking a hit like that in melee.
If he’s at the advantage while in Gunslinger, Aldwin is going to keep up the ranged weapon assault. He’ll be a bit more spendy with his ammunition, as a way to hopefully lock down the opponent. He’ll continue to press an absolutely relentless assault, and leave next to no room for an opponent to do anything about it. If he’s at the disadvantage, Alduin is going to be more conservative with his rounds, avoiding using them whenever and wherever he can. He’ll focus more on not losing his life than the welfare of his opponent.
In the next approach, Aldwin will take on a sort of Swordmaster approach, using spiritual steel weapons to fight in combat. These weapons have the potential to be supercharged via Aldwin’s reiatsu, which he’ll occasionally do from time to time. Though, the primary focus of this “stance” per se is to rush down opponents with melee attacks. He wants to leave them with little chance to recover from his attacks, and will stop at nothing in order to do so. He’s hyper-aggressive in this combat style, utilizing his effective melee weapons to fight.
Should he have the advantage in combat, Aldwin is going to focus on pressing the assault. He’s going to do far from letting an opponent get a chance to take a breather, and is going to force them into positions they’re incredibly uncomfortable in. He’s going to make sure they don’t get a chance to strike back. At the disadvantage, however, Aldwin is going to fight very defensively. He’s going to make sure he can survive, as opposed to taking his opponent down. Self-preservation is much more important than winning a fight.
Finally, Aldwin may opt to make full use of both of his releases, mounting up like a sort of Royal Guard. This route is far less likely, as he’s not fond of half of the power set he gains from this release. Should he deem it absolutely necessary in order to survive, though, Aldwin will use his Saisei Oni. Until that point, though, He’ll be fighting by utilizing his bow release to its fullest, mounting up and using his divine blade to fight. He’s a fearsome opponent with a bow release like that, and he’s far from afraid to use it properly in order to shut down an opponent.
Should he have the advantage, Aldwin is going to do what he can to keep up the offensive. He’ll make his way in as close as he can to the opponent, and begin to wail on them in melee distance. Because of his horse, he’ll be able to generally out-speed a decent bit of his foes, and will actively look to do so when mounted. After all, a horse is certainly faster than average people, and he intends to keep it that way. Only under very strict circumstances will Saisei Oni even be considered here.
Should he have the disadvantage, Aldwin will turn the fight to the defensive. He’ll focus more on protecting himself, and those around him should he need to, instead of beating the opponent into the ground. Survival is the goal when losing a fight. Though, moreso here than any of his other primary fighting styles, he’ll do what he can in order to take the advantage back from his opponent and hopefully allow himself to pull through and win whatever kind of skirmish he’s currently locked in. This does indeed include using his Saisei Oni, should he need it.
Aldwin’s Saisei Oni is a force to be reckoned with, if I’m being frank. The longer he remains in the form, the more it works to slowly distort his perception of the world around him, even leading to potentially making bad decisions, such as harming his companions. He can’t fully control Primera Etapa, and struggles to control Segunda Etapa even moreso, so he tends to avoid using them. He doesn’t have a set “fighting style” for the time spent in his Saisei Oni, and, as such, it’s somewhat unpredictable even for himself.
{"I cannot afford to get careless!"}
Aspect of Hell: Agony
Saisei Oni Overall Ability:
Aldwin’s Aspect of Hell is inherited from his father; Agony. His Saisei Oni is also incredibly similar to that of his father's. Essentially, what this release does is cause his foes to suffer tremendous amounts of pain, despite taking very minimal amounts of physical damage. This is done through Living Agony, a debuff applied by all of Aldwin’s physical attacks while in Saisei Oni. As these debuffs are continuously applied, this pain continues to get worse and worse, eventually to the point where it’s absolutely unbearable, even to those who have built up the highest of the highest of pain tolerances.
Saisei Oni Appearance:
Aldwin’s Saisei Oni is interesting. With the way that it’s set up for him, Primera Etapa is like that of a partial transformation, while Segunda Etapa would be marked as a full-fledged demon form. In his Primera Etapa, Aldwin’s body starts to turn more into a suit of bio-armor. His skin quickly transitions into that of a chitin-like material, and turns a deep shade of red. Various amounts of spikes rest atop this form’s shoulders, arms, legs, and just about everywhere else. His originally strawberry blond hair is now almost pure white, and appears slicked back. His skin turns a shade of medium gray, and small remnants of horns begin to grow from the top of his forehead. The entire left half of his face takes on a more demonic appearance. His items, belts, and braces still remain on his person, should he have any on. His hands have effectively become miniature claws, with sharpened nails.
{"I planned not to use this form. Seems as though you've pushed my hand."}
In Segunda Etapa, Aldwin’s transformation is complete, making him fully appear like that of a demon. His entire body is now covered in this armor-shaped chitin, and even a makeshift helmet covers his face now. The horns once sitting atop his face have since grown much larger, and even curve back behind his head. On his lower back now protrudes a segmented, demonic tail. This tail is tipped with a long blade, similar to that of a Xenomorph’s tail, and has tremendous piercing potential behind it. This armor is also a deep red, much like the armored parts in Aldwin’s primera etapa. Overall, his appearance can easily be considered much more menacing than that of his Primera.

Saisei Oni Primera Etapa Techniques:
Weapon Technique - Herald of Agony
Aldwin’s first weapon technique is interesting in the sense that it’s essentially one technique, but can be used in two different ways. What this technique does is simple; Aldwin makes an attack, either with natural weapons or with an actual weapon, and, should this attack hit, it applies Living Agony. Depending on what version of the technique is used, the reiatsu cost will be different. If this technique is channeled through a weapon, then it’ll cost Aldwin 75 reiatsu per swing. If he’s using any of his natural weapons gained from the shift into Saisei Oni, it’ll cost him 75 reiatsu, reduced by 25 for every point in Weapons - Saisei Oni he has, down to a cost of 0 reiatsu.
Upon applying Living Agony, every stack of this debuff causes a spectral sword to appear, and pierce through the spot hit on the target. These swords cannot be interacted with, except with Aldwin’s other techniques. They’re essentially just specters. For every stack of Living Agony applied, the target’s body is wracked with pain, causing various feelings of burning, lacerations, and sharp pains, without actually experiencing those wounds. This debuff can be applied a total of 4 times, plus an additional time for each rank in Pain Tolerance the target has:
Rank 1 of Living Agony has the target suffering from sharp pains across the body, but it’s nothing that cannot be tolerated. It feels akin to what one might feel getting constant paper cuts across their body.
Rank 2 of Living Agony starts to get a bit more serious. These constant paper cuts turn into more of a laceration and small, deep cuts. A light burning feeling also occurs. This is certainly unpleasant, but those who can endure a decent bit of pain should be able to continue fighting through it.
Rank 3 of Living Agony is where things really start getting bad. These cuts turn to a feeling of large, deep stab wounds. Think a blade being shoved into you, and having that blade turned. The burning feeling gets more serious, akin to that of third degree burns. This is incredibly debilitating, and even those who have a massive pain tolerance will find themselves struggling to push through it.
Rank 4 is the peak of Living Agony. These cuts begin to feel more like the victim’s limbs are being perpetually chopped off. These burns feel more like that of a live cremation, as though their insides are being permanently burned, equating to the feeling of a fourth degree burn across their entire body. Next to nobody would normally be able to fight through this kind of pain.
Pain Tolerance interacts with Living Agony in a rather unique way. For every rank of Pain Tolerance the target has, an additional application of Living Agony is required for the effects to begin. For example, say that a target had 3 ranks in Pain Tolerance, and Aldwin wanted to apply the Rank 3 effect of Living Agony. This would require 6 total ranks of Living Agony in order to feel that amount of pain. Pain Tolerance does not actually reduce the pain felt, only makes it so that the technique needs to be applied more, simulating that effect while simultaneously not making Aldwin’s entire powerset useless. In Segunda Etapa, Aldwin can pay 50 reiatsu to apply a stack of Living Agony to himself, but suffers the effects as though he had a 2 in Pain Tolerance. Two stacks can be applied to himself per post in Segunda Etapa, but the effects of the second stack applied will be applied to Aldwin as though he had a 0 in Pain Tolerance, effectively making it much worse than it normally would.
Body Technique - Screams of the Damned:
Aldwin’s Saisei Oni works in an interesting way. Screams of the Damned is another armor technique, much like that of hierro, and functions similarly, only this technique does not scale off of his RS in a natural sense. The technique starts to scale off of his Reiatsu Strength, but this armor can be bolstered in an interesting way. For a cost of 100 reiatsu per stack, Aldwin can cause a target to lose a number of Living Agony stacks, to increase the effective Reiatsu Strength of this technique by 100. This tech lasts during the length of his Saisei Oni, both Primera and Segunda, and is activated as part of releasing. In Segunda Etapa, Aldwin can sacrifice his own stacks of Living Agony. The Reiatsu Strength of this technique cannot exceed three times the normal strength of Albin's RS stat, capping at 1200 if his RS were to be 400.
Saisei Oni Segunda Etapa Techniques:
Weapon Technique - Infernal Recall
Infernal Recall is a technique that allows Aldwin to cause very real pain to his target, as opposed to that of what can be done with Living Agony. When a target is afflicted with Living Agony, Aldwin can activate this technique. What it does is as follows; for a cost of 100 reiatsu per stack, Aldwin can remove a number of Living Agony stacks from a target, forcing the spectral swords inside of a target to momentarily materialize and be pulled out. Each sword is equal to 25% of Aldwin’s OS in damage, as these swords are ripped from inside of their victim. The target is then stripped of all of their Living Agony stacks.
Body Technique - Feeding from the Pain:
This technique, much like his previous body technique, is active upon entering Segunda Etapa. It functions as a sort of aura, allowing Aldwin to feed on the suffering of those around him. Any time a living being enters a radius of 15 feet of Aldwin, even for a split second, they’re immediately siphoned from. This siphon, however, only works if that target has been afflicted with Living Agony at least once. For every stack of Living Agony that a target has, they’re drained of 25 reiatsu when they enter this radius. This reiatsu is then stored in his stolen reiatsu pool, and is spent before any of his personal reiatsu is. If a technique would normally require him to spend reiatsu and the stolen pool doesn’t have enough reiatsu in it, his personal pool will lose the remainder of the cost.
Bow Release Overall Theme:
Aldwin’s bow release works to make him a knight, in every sense of the word. His release even goes as far as to change his bow into that of a horse, making him one hell of a cavalier. Interestingly enough, almost all of Aldwin’s Bow Release Properties are Form Properties, augmenting his bow in certain ways and granting him unique little bonuses depending on what aspect of being a knight he’d like to uphold. Depending on how he’d like to fight, this release could easily be used to outclass those he’s against in stylish and honorable ways.
Bow Release Properties:
Class 6 - Form - On A Pale Horse
For this form property, Aldwin’s bow effectively isn’t a bow anymore, in the sense that it can no longer fire arrows. Hell, it even loses the ability to be used as an effective weapon. Instead, the bow itself becomes Aldwin’s personal steed. The horse itself can move at a speed of 600 normally. Normal step techniques cannot be used while on the horse, aside from constant steps (i.e. Hirenkyaku Constant). These steps cost double the original reiatsu cost to use. The horse takes on a spectral appearance, and can only be interacted with by Aldwin; attacks go right through it.
Class 4 - Power - Arthurian Bulwark
Class 4 unlocks a power property for Aldwin’s bow release, this one being a property that turns him into a standard depiction of an RPG tank. Arthurian Bulwark causes Aldwin’s armor to shine brightly, even in the dark. While this property is active, Aldwin exudes an aggressive, powerful presence. In threads with more than one person, foes are drawn to Aldwin, and are much more likely to attack him instead of his allies because of this. This property allows him to be a defender of his allies, much like a knight should. Those with a 3 in Lack of Fear can ignore this effect. In threads where he only has one opponent, this property is effectively useless. This can also be resisted by a 100 in Light Aura or Dark Aura, in conjunction with 2 points in Lack of Fear or Calm Mind.
Class 2 - Form - Divine Sword Excalibur
Aldwin’s final form property is one that changes the shape of his Arrows. With this form active, Aldwin’s arrows become that of Excalibur, planting its roots in that of Arthurian Legend. The sword still takes on a fairly spectral appearance in nature, and is the average size of a longsword. While active, this sword can slash through reiatsu based attacks that are of an equal class or lower, allowing Aldwin to power through the attack itself. In addition, this slash absorbs reiatsu equal to 100 reiatsu + an additional 100 reiatsu for every class above 7 the technique is, at a maximum amount absorbed equalling the cost of the technique it slashed through. While this might seem incredibly powerful, it’s not without drawbacks. Firstly, If the technique slashed through is only a single class lower, then Aldwin still suffers 50% of the technique’s OS in physical strain on his body. If the class is equal, Aldwin then suffers 75% of the technique’s OS in physical strain. Aldwin can only have one arrow out at a time while this property is active.
Additional Tools & Techniques:
{Seele Schneide}
Technique Name: Selee Schneide
Class: 7-1
Technique Type: Quincy Art
Usable By: Quincy
Technique Element: Reishi
Technique Description and Effects: Selee Schneide is the pinnacle of a Quincy's ability to absorb Reiatsu. When activated, a medium-length blade of Reiatsu is formed from the hilt. This blade vibrates at very high frequencies, and is capable of loosening the bonds between Spirit Particles, and then stealing the free Spirit Particles.
When the Selee Schneide is activated, it has an offensive stat of 0, regardless of the user. However, it cannot be overpowered by a technique of equal or inferior class, regardless of that technique's offensive stat. Instead, any technique that interacts with Selee Schneide has its offensive stat reduced by 100, and then the Selee Schneide's offensive stat increases by 100. If the Selee Schneide interacts with a Reiatsu based being - such as a Shinigami, Arrancar, Hollow Akki, Rogue or Beast Clan - then the person struck loses 50 Reiatsu, and the Selee Schneide's offensive stat increases by 50. This includes when the Selee Schneide strikes an extension of that being's soul, such as part of their Zanpakuto or Ressurecion.
At any stage, the Selee Schneide can be fired by the user, using their standard bow, as an arrow. This arrow has an offensive stat and speed equal to that of the Selee Schneide at the time of firing.
How to use technique: Hold the Selee Schneide hilt in hand, and pay the appropriate Reiatsu Cost.
Technique Drawbacks: This technique requires the same amount of TTP as a Class 4 technique to learn. The Selee Schneide can only be activated at a Class equal to or lower than the user's. The Selee Schneide can only steal Reiatsu from techniques or beings whose Class is lower to, or equal to, the Class of the Selee Schneide. This technique requires a Selee Schneide hilt (item) to use, and each hilt can only be used once. The costs for activating the Selee Schneide is the same as normal Quincy arrows. It then costs the same amount of Reiatsu per post to maintain it.

-History-
Birthplace: Maryland, US
Current Residence: New York, US
Memorable Figures: Mother, Father
History: Aldwin Rose Blackwood was born to Julianne Blackwood and and [REDACTED], his Akki father. He was born just north of Baltimore, growing up in one of the upper-class neighborhoods. As a child, Aldwin effectively wanted for nothing. He was spoiled, to say the least. His mother worked as a surgeon, and his father knew how to get money illegitimately, fairly easily. Needless to say, he grew up fairly rich. From the start of his life to the first few years in, it would’ve been easy to say that his life was going to go quite well, in fact.
That statement couldn’t be any more wrong.
Growing up, Aldwin’s grades were always phenomenal, sitting ahead of the curve compared to the average student at his age. While he was growing up, his mother had been quite strict as far as grades went, effectively molding him into a perfect student from a young age. His father was more relaxed about this, never actually seeing the importance of grades with him being what he was. His parents would tend to get into arguments about this every now and again, but he never thought anything of it.
As time went on, and as his schooling improved, Aldwin started to notice his parents fighting more often; not just about grades, but about finances, life plans, and Aldwin’s future. His home life slowly began to turn more and more hostile, and he did what he could to use his schoolwork as a way to distract himself from that life. He didn’t want to involve himself with the problems and issues of his parents, and wanted them to be able to sort it out themselves. He later realized the issue with this choice.
After a while, his father eventually lost the ability to control his temper. Eventually he turned to violence, and attacked his mother every now and again whenever they had some semblance of an argument. At one point, though, it had gotten so bad, that Aldwin’s father eventually took his mother’s life, and made an attempt on Aldwin’s. Neither his mother or Aldwin himself knew that his father had actually been in a gigai for the last eighteen years, and, by sacrificing some of his original power as an Akki, had been able to mate with a Quincy.
Eventually after ditching the gigai, Aldwin’s father revealed himself as an Akki. He promptly slaughtered Julianne, and went after Aldwin. Aldwin had managed to hide from his father for a bit, before a semblance of help eventually arrived. Aldwin’s father was effortlessly dispatched by a Quincy; a man who had heard loud noises, and came to help. Thankfully enough, Aldwin’s life was saved, and he was eventually adopted by the Quincy man.
He began to look up to the Quincy as a sort of father figure, making that man his own personal role model in life. Under the Quincy’s guidance and aid, Aldwin eventually finished high school, and graduated Valedictorian in his class. With stellar grades like that, he was effectively able to enroll anywhere he wanted across the country. Not wanting to leave the Quincy, though, he decided to enroll in an online school, so that he no longer even had to begin to worry about needing to go off to school.
Eventually, he applied to numerous schools across the country, all of the schools needing to have some kind of online program in order for him to even consider applying. If that prerequisite was met, then he’d be more than willing to put out an application to these specific schools. Eventually settling on one he liked, Aldwin put out an application for University of Phoenix, an almost entirely online school. Naturally he ended up accepted with a full ride scholarship, and began this schooling.
As far as where he is now, Aldwin is currently in the process of getting his second bachelor’s; the first one in Information Security Analysis, the second one in Software Engineering. Still enrolled at University of Phoenix, he continues to do his classes online, having moved to New York with the same Quincy that had saved his life only a few years back. On his off time, he looks into the spiritual side of the world, trying to learn just about everything he possibly can on it all.
