New Life. New Master? {Flashback social / Asuka }

[Torre Vulci]

The outer walls of Las Noches, Torre could see them a bit clearer now that he was getting closer. He must of been walking for miles to only be getting close to the walls now. To be honest he didn't even know where to begin once he even got there and who he should even serve. Clearly the strong would have no need for him to be a weapon for them when they could just kill whoever they wanted on their own. Yet he was hoping that there was someone there that could make use of him. Course then he would have to imagine which member of the Espada was gonna be a good fit for him. 

He expected the worst to be fully honest, he expected to be treated like literal trash if he was proven to be significantly weaker than he expected himself to be. He knew he was strong in terms of adjuchas class hollows, but now that he was whatever the hell this form was called. Well he wasn't quite sure to be honest with himself, he heard the Espada were the most powerful beings in the entirety of Hueco Mundo. This thought alone made his warrior heart scream out in joy of potentially finding someone to fight, over, and over, and over again. Then the dread of finding a fitting warrior that would end up being his master set in, the ultimate goal and one he considered never a reality. If he swore himself to someone, he could never raise a hand to them ever. 

To have this extreme view of loyalty and devotion was maybe one his own flaws that he never really thought about, but many would call it a blessing. He would rather die than to raise a hand to whoever became his master even if that said master was a total dick. Torre looked up into the starless sky of Hueco Mundo wondering to himself on whether he was lucky or not. Laughing at the thought of being lucky when he was now in this form of miniature hell hole. 

" As usual.... my luck screws me over... " He said solemnly by now he was close enough to see the entrance to Las Noches. Dressed only in a robe made of hollow hide to cover his otherwise naked body. His hair a utter mess from the lack of combing and proper care well not his braided ponytails, those were in perfect condition as usual. " Well.... I wonder who my new master is gonna be, might as well brace myself. " Torre said speaking to himself if anything expecting the worst, but hoping for at least not the worst.

Life sure was hard.

First, her first batch of cookie batter got on her ceiling. Next, her crate of lemons broke, spilling lemons everywhere.. making her late for her usual rituals of the day! Gah! The prospect of new friends and fraccion and buds and buds with benefits were all too exciting for the Segunda. If she was late or didn’t show up, who knows what exciting things were going to happen without her. That was like having your own birthday party and not going to your own birthday party which would totally suck because at your own birthday party there’d be cake and cookies and ice cream and people and decorations and .. uh..uh! Stuff! Lots of cool stuff!

..Good thing she never missed her own birthday party!

Anywhoosits! Asuka didn’t want to be late to start a brand new day. A whole new lease on life without it being a new life! She had her signs in tow and her cart filled with pitchers of lemonade and a tray filled with the worlds worst (or best depending who you talk to) burnt cookies along with her sign, ready to show the world she was open for business! Even if her toesies were brimming and filled with sand. Asuka was one exhausted soul trudging with dozens of snakes following after eager to keep up. She didn’t know why.. All the Segunda knew was that the day she became the Segunda, they were there. In her backyard. In her front yard… Her kitchen and bedroom and sometimes bathroom. Life got crowded real fast.

Off in the distance, more than a dozen paces away she’d see something that would cause her to break free from her thoughts that would normally have her all kinds of distracted. A figure all by his lonesome trudging through the same white sand she was! He was well on his way to the entrance of that boring ol’ palace. Her pace slowed momentarily as she tried to figure out if it was a familiar face or the ghost of her Christmas past. Thankfully, it was none of those things as both of those things were probably bad for many, many reasons. Ah, it only seemed like yesterday when she was just a lowly Sexta and then fraccion… Those were awful days.

Memory lane wouldn’t be enough to damper such a perky and fine spirit though. The corners of her lips curled into a hopeful smile as the eager teal haired female would pick up her pace, trying her damndest to catch up to the male with the bright, vibrant hair. As she neared him, she’d hear the tail end of what he’d spoke to himself. Bracing yourself… Hmm. How could she not chime in to such a familiar sentiment? “Gah. I know right. Lots of big meanies in there amirite?!” She piped up, now walking along side him with extra pep in her step. “I brace myself every time! Like when I made cookies this morning I braced myself for the burnt stuff and it wasn’t so bad this time around!” She motioned her head to her cart before moving ahead, starting to set up shop.

“You’re a new face! First time here?” She looked up at him with a bright, welcoming smile in between her setting up and laying out pitchers of famous (only to few) lemonade and a plate of burnt chocolate chip cookies.. where even the chocolate chips managed to acquire a questionable taste. Snakes of all sorts managed to catch up and would calmly slither about the general area as she’d merrily set up. When that thought lingered on for more than five seconds, her jaw dropped in amazement as emerald eyes widened upon his appearance. Asuka would bounce up and down repeatedly, excited as can be. “Oh my goshness if its your first time we have to make it special! We have to celebrate or something!! I’m really good at celebrating and first times! Please! Please! Pretty please?!”

And Just like that his luck pulled a full one eighty on him, much to the male arrancar's surprise. He had been stopped by a lone female arrancar that was far shorter than he was. Then again he was probably on the upper side of tall within arrancar standards, course he had no idea if that was true or not. First the scent of burned chocolate chip cookies filled the arrancars nostrals and then the strange, but familiar scent of lemons. Lemons of all things were the first thing he would get reunited with and of course it was all to this strange female arrancar's doing. Something about this woman pulled him to her, almost like she could be trusted. Some natural feeling that if anything she could be considered a friend. 

Course whether this was maybe coincidence? 

Ah to hell with it, this was the first interaction he had in a long time that wasn't violent. The male arrancar turned his attention to the woman fully invested in whatever she has going on. The scents initially pulling him in, but her almost shocking hair color that got him pulled him. The woman was in all honesty beautiful to his eyes and he felt something different about her. The female arrancar didn't introduce herself to him, but she seemed excited to the extreme over this. The snakes that were around were interesting to say the least, its not every day he sees the smaller wild life being so attached. Strangely himself felt some form of feeling towards her that seemed innate and natural, primal even. Being a dragon for a long period of time certainly has nothing to do with this right? 

She talked about celebration about his arrival at the location depending on if he was new or not. It was strange seeing something like this once again, he felt like he reached the metaphorical end of the tunnel. Her warmth, her energy, her seemingly genuine excitement for his arrival, her light. To Torre he had only seen a endless desert basked in nothing but dreadful depressing moon light, but now... Now he felt like he could finally feel the suns warmth once again. For the first time in what felt like centuries Torre sat down in front another being and gave his best at a warm smile at her after stabbing his sword into the ground. His eye now fully exposed and much easier to see, it was hard to probably tell if he was even looking at her with it being the same color as his skin. 

His hollow hole exposed, small as it was it had been hidden by his messy messy hair. " .... If you would wish to celebrate with what you brought, which smells delicious, then i won't get in your way. I am Torre Vulci, a brand new... whatever this form is called. What is your name Dama De Calor? " His natural tongue slipping in once again, he wasn't sure if she actually understood him so he simply waited. His voice was soft and almost serene with how he was feeling, which was strange for the arrancar as only one place brought him this same feeling. He knew of its name of that one specific spot even while as a hollow, the small beach side coast of brazil pointing towards the Atlantic. 
 
" I didn't answer your question before, Yes i am new here. Looking for a master to serve. "

The smell of brimstone hung in the air faintly as she stood around, tilting her head and observing Las Noches’ newest, soon to be resident. He looked super interesting. Almost kinda like he was on fire.. but in a super cool way! Or hot! In a super hot way! That would make more sense. He’d catch her occasionally sniffing the air like a curious dog. As if to try to place the scent but Asuka was having trouble in that moment putting a name to.. whatever it was. Not that she’d know. Her vocabulary wasn’t exactly stellar and the only words she knew well were the names of various candies and desserts from around the world; things that mattered the most to her.

Overjoyed at the prospect of getting celebrate his first time, Asuka bounced yet again, clapping both her hands and squealing as happy as can be. “Gosh I’m so happy! We're gonna have the best first time!” At the mention of something smelling delicious, Asuka would sniff the air further, catching more of that faint warm, charred scent. “The burning smell? I think it’s my cookies?” She said worriedly, spinning around and bringing out the tray. “I-I don’t think you want these. Most people don’t..” She stammered nervously before setting them down. “They smell better than usual this time around though! More.. hmm.. Well it doesn't smell like cookies but it smells better! So I’m making improvements~! Aha!” Suddenly she felt all sorts of encouraged and excited. Her cooking was getting better at last~!

“Oh! I totally forgot!” In a panic she forgot the most important thing; the reason why she was here! Asuka scrambled frantically for the pitcher of cool lemonade and a glass and filled it to the brim, nearly spilling it over in her skittish state. She’d hand the glass off to the taller, fiery male with a nervous smile and a faint rosy tint on her cheeks, clearly embarrassed at having forgotten to immediately offer this fine man a tall glass of the good stuff. “I’m Asuka Hito! Nice ta’ meetcha n’ greetcha~!”, she chirped. That was the whole point of having a lemonade stand after all! Drinking lemonade and making new friends!

He would introduce himself and just that alone made this whole ordeal sweeter as the gateway to any relationship was a name. “How is it?” She asked, with her hands clutched to her chest as she eagerly awaited his opinion with hopeful eyes and inched closer. It turned out he was new and boy oh boy oh boy~! Time for new guy celebrations! Even better, he was going to let her help him! Oh, happy day~! This almost never happens! In fact, this is the first time this has ever happened so it’s everyone’s first time! Yahoo~!

As she’d await his opinion, he’d say something that piqued her curiosity; talk of masters and what not. Asuka would tilt her head, raising one very confused eyebrow. “A master?” She’d blink her eyes repeatedly as she tried to make sense of what he was looking for here. “Serve?” It was probably just Asuka, but she didn’t understand such a sentiment. To force someone’s will upon another and have them do their bidding. It was unfamiliar. “Torre, you don’t need to serve anyone.” What would make him want to do that. “You’re free to do whatever you like whenever you like.” She’d sit on her table, propping herself up as she watched him. “Ehe.. At least around me you can. I'm more of a believer in friendships and stuff like that! Las Noches is uhm…” She turned to look back at it momentarily before looking back to him. “Well, the way things work around here is that the weaker fall in line to the stronger ones but I wouldn’t say you have to serve anyone. You can grow stronger and do anything~!”

It reminded her of a time when she was far weaker. A newborn arrancar standing in front of this place feeling as though she’d never get anywhere close to the likes of Kuroi, her former ‘master’. “I did at least.” She shrugged, smiling shyly. “Lots of others have. Anything is possible here.” She’d casually run her fingers through teal locks as she thought back to much more simpler, torturous times. Times when she couldn’t even count all the times she was knocked or beat senseless simply for her weakness. It was like having a master but as far as she knew, Kuroi did indeed give them free will. It was another something she admired about him. Alas, he was gone. All she could do was carry one the same principles with far, far less violence and vehemence. Oh, and less violence! “Is there anything you want at all, Torre? A-Aside from a master..?”

Torre blinked softly when he noticed that the female arrancar was basically sniffing the air, as if she was searching for something. Leaning on to his right side he smirked softly as watched, noticing her confused look on her face. " If you are wondering what i smell like its called brimstone or Sulfur. A scent typically associated with the inside portions of a volcano active or not. " He said softly wondering if that would calm her confusion. Eyeing the woman up himself after noticing her do the same to him her hair was one of the many details that stood out. Teal blue hair with what appeared to be a crown on her head or some form of head piece that was obnoxiously large for the arrancar. Everything about her spewed out that she was full of life almost like the legendary fountain of youth.

Truly somehow his luck gave his first interaction with another arrancar to be a beautiful one. 

She seemed incredibly hyper about celebrating a new arrancars arrival, maybe they really were small in number? None the less she brought out the tray of deliciously smelling cookies. Completely in thought of how no one seems to like them, but when it was offered Torre snatched one up and downed it in a single bite. The charred cookie mixed with the melted and cooled chocolate gave it a flavor that maybe only the male arrancar could appreciate. Taking a moment to enjoy and savor the taste he swallowed the chewed up cookie, licking his lips. " I don't understand why, that was a delicious cookie. The crisp charred outside with a melted and cooled chocolate inside, perfect. " He gave her a happy look impressed with her seemingly good baking skills, despite probably not knowing better. 

Almost in a embarrassed flurry of movements she quickly made what appeared to be lemonade and handed it to him almost like she was nervous. Why would she need to be nervous? Unless she was embarrassed for not doing this sooner, so if that was the case then he would need to put those nerves down. He sniffed the lemonade and true enough it smelled like it always has, downing it in one sitting. Letting out a satisfied sigh of relief, the lemonade was absolutely amazing to taste again. Introducing herself to him now as a Asuka Hito, which had a nice ring to it really. " Well then its a pleasure to meet you Asuka Hito, the lemonade was lovely. " He said before he spotted a normal lemon and softly stood up. Reaching over and grabbing the spare lemon he tossed it up and down catching it every time seemingly impressed with the state of the lemon. 

" A ripe for harvest Lemon.... yum. " He said softly sitting back down before biting into it like it was a apple, almost back to his usual self. When he mentioned that he was looking for a master he seemed to struck something within Asuka as she started talking. Listening to everything she said he did ponder her last question to him and gave it a good long few seconds of thought. " The ocean.... To figure out why im obsessed with a certain ocean.. " He said softly the idea and thought of it had him puzzled for quite some time, but he smiled softly looking into the bitten lemon. " Asuka... i don't mean to be rude. But for me gaining power means to serve, but then i have the problem of having a master who won't need me. One who is too powerful and violent can handle their problems on their own, yet one that lacks some power or the drive to kill or hurt... that is the master i wish to find. So that i may be my new masters wrath and deal with their problems head on so that they don't have to. Yet i don't believe i will find a master like that, hollows and i guess even this form are trained killers who take solace in that ability.  " 

He looked up into the sky for a quick moment before looking back to Asuka understanding how she thought, if not most of how she thought. " That is how i wish to grow stronger, to be relied on by my master to handle their problems. "

“What’s a— Ahhhhh” So many new words being thrown the Segunda’s way but her fiery savior would swiftly educate her, causing the female to nod her head excitedly. In an attempt to confirm what she’d just been told, she’d push herself off the table, moving closer to Torre and quite literally invading his personal space. She’d sniff the air around him and then smile. The look in her eyes was as if a light bulb went off and all would make sense in the world. “I like how volcanoes smell” She said softly as she smiled, looked up at the taller male. They were better than her cookies at least.

On topic, Asuka watched rather worriedly as Torre eagerly scooped up a very burnt cookie and downed it instantaneously. “Uh— I—! U-Uhm—! “ She put her hand out in an attempt to stop him from eating what she thought was a very terrible tasting, possibly poisonous cookie. She blinked multiple times before watching his face to see if there was any disgust or sign of disdain in his face but what she saw was the look of appreciation. “Y-You like it?” With childlike wonder she looked up at him. Someone held an appreciation for her burnt cooking? “I-I burn everything I cook! Not cause I want to though but cause I can’t help it! I really like it.. I’m just not good at it!.. Unless it’s candy and cereal~!” She bounced. “Are you good at cooking Torre? Will ya teach me sometime~?!” Anything helps, right?

Maybe he’s a master at making tacos or celery. She didn’t like green stuff but the concept of making celery did fascinate her. They were like little trees.. Or was that broccoli? Cauliflower were tiny snow trees and were tasty when fried.. like everything else. “I’m so glad you like everything because no one likes everything of mine” She looked like she was on the brink of tears of joy because it truly was a first. “You’re the first one to say that about my cookies..” It was a moment. Like winning the Oscars only the trophy was burnt. She watched him take a huge chomp into a lemon and Asuka in all in infinite wisdom wondered to herself:

‘Why haven’t I done that?’

“I’ve never done that before! Does it taste good?” And just like that she’d pluck the lemon out of Torre’s hand and take a nice big girl chomp out of it. Of course, it was nothing to Torre but to anyone else with Asuka’s taste buds, she bit into it and she winced immediately, squealing in obvious discomfort as she immediately let go and dropped it back in his hand, running laps around her table as the rich, bitter and incredibly sour flavor hit her tastebuds. “Oh god! Oh god! My mouth!” She stuck her tongue out as if to truly express how bad the taste was before grabbing her own pitcher, taking yet another healthy gulp out of it. The sugary lemonade did help tons. Emphasis on the sugar.

He spoke about the ocean and when her antics ceased, she seemed to think for a moment, fingers pressed up on her chin as she pondered. An idea struck and she’d pass on the pitcher of lemonade to Torre. “We can go to the ocean together! It’ll be so much fun! I love beach days!!” She jumped back towards him. “There’ll be watermelons and lemonade and cookies and ice cream and cute outfits and beach balls and lots of dogs and more dogs and candy and sea shells and starfish and all kinds of amazing stuff~!” God her ideas were just top notch today, weren’t they?! “How ‘bout it Torre!? Doesn’t that sound like fun!?” Her eyes were as hopeful as ever. Imagine shooting a face like that down!? "The ocean smells just as good as volcanoes do!"

She could calm down further at his response to wanting a master. “Gosh I wish I was more like you. I get in lots of trouble for not killing.” Asuka broke into a nervous sweat as she began to speak about her inability to kill. “Or not being violent enough.. My old teacher was an Espada. He trained me. I used to be his fraccion and he hated inability to kill or hurt. I didn’t think it was always necessary but he did.” Once again she sat on her table, looking aimlessly into the distance as if she were recalling a memory. “He didn’t like a lot about me actually but there was respect there I think. He sure had a funny way of showin’ it… Eventually I decided I wanted to be like him but I didn’t want to hurt. I wanted to do things my way and take my own path.” She broke contact from the shifting sands ahead to look at Torre. “There were times where I think that drive is necessary but I could never bring myself to do somethin’ like that. I uhm… I dunno.. Life is precious to me. It feels wrong to take that from someone. I don’t think I could forgive myself if I did that.”

She did envy him; his ability to commit such an act without her remorse. “Was trained to kill but I lack the killing instinct. I tried to fix it but it just never felt r-right.” She looked away nervously with slight embarrassment. Her life would have been infinitely easier if it was and she just fell in line with everyone else. She wanted to be the ideal student or the ideal Espada to make the other happy with her but it never quite worked out for her. “Enough about me though.. Ehehe…How could someone not appreciate the drive and determination you have? Plus you all strong and stuff! Anyone would be lucky to have you, Torre~” He was so comfortable with his wrath and Asuka… was not. The Segunda scratched the back of her head. She rarely got comfortable with such a thing. Still she would give him praise with the most natural, smile.

“So.. your ideal master! You want them to want you? What else do you need?”

Torre simply watched the smaller female arrancar smirking to himself when she was nodding her head vigorously as she took in the information. He simply guessed that her nostrils were as screwed up as his taste buds were, he wasn't aware there would be beings who actually liked his scent. Always figured that his scent would be the main driving force of those wanting to keep a distance from him, but to be accepted like this. To be accepted like this made him feel warm inside, and not his usual wrathful warm either, but a loving warmth. When she got into his personal space he simply looked into her eyes feeling a strange feeling in his chest. 

Was this admiration or something more? Was he quickly falling for this beaming girl of happiness and joy or was he simply just happy to not be alone? To have someone like this who liked the way he smelled and seemed to be fascinated with him was one thing that he never really considered. Either way this female arrancar was quickly showing herself to be more reliable by the moment. She seemed worried when he ate the cookie quickly seeming surprised that he actually liked it. " You burn everything you make? Strange i do the same thing. Before i came here i cooked up some adjuchas and it was....very burnt, but i seem to like burnt things. " Hopefully he didn't just shatter her hopes of cooking without burning things, but would it matter if she had someone that liked things burned? 

" Honestly thats a shame that no one else appreciates such well made cookies. " Was his first thought when she confirmed that apparently he was the first and most likely only being to like them. Asking him if biting into a lemon tastes good and he was gonna answer, then she took the lemon and bit into it. " .....A.... Asuka..... im a bit weird, but i don't think you woul- " He said reaching out to stop her, but failing as she started running around her cart showing signs of not liking the bittersweet and somewhat sour lemon. Sighing softly as he watched her run laps around her own table, he noticed something strange on the side of her head. A big ol black tattoo of the number two in roman numerals, this caused his eyebrows to raise not aware yet of how the Espada are marked in terms of rank. 

The moment he uttered the ocean after she was able to cleanse her mouth of the taste Asuka seemed to bounce right back into her usual mood. Getting close to him again and passing him the pitcher of lemonade, of course he took a decent swig of the yellow liquid. She started talking about things the two of them or however many beings could do at the coastline, having a strange fascination with dogs.  " Ah, That does sound quite nice. Basking in the heat of the sun once more.... I am however not one to be touched by water... Water freaks me out. " He said almost embarrassed of that little fact, being a man of fire it was almost poetically ironic of him being afraid of water. It scared him to no end with how it could cool him down by just touching him was enough to send shivers down the otherwise firey arrancar. 

With her little water fountain of ideas coming to a end for the ocean she seemed to mellow out again having a more serious demeanor. She talked about her past and how she was trained by a former Espada no less, yet never really seemed to get much satisfactory comfort. To him this would all sound as if the poor girl was abused and never given credit when it was due. Seeing her have this sorta sad look in her eye, it lit a fire in his very soul. Even if it would cost him everything he felt like this poor female arrancar didn't get her just rewards for trying so hard. It actually started to physically show on his person when his veins started glowing a dark orange and his hair turning orange as well. 

Then she spoke about how even though she was properly trained how to kill, she never could without having some form of remorse. A being that was once a mindless killing machine, now a sentient being who chose not to kill. Was Torre's luck really turning around? Did he seriously find himself a master this easily when that main desire was something of a rarity? He stood up slowly and gently walked to be in front of Asuka. ".... You wouldn't be part of the Espada would you?.... That tattoo on the side of your head... are you the second strongest? " He asked if his suspicions were correct and she was the second strongest arrancar then he believed he found the one to be his master. 

" Because if you are.... Would you mind having a rampant dragon as your loyal servant? Because i don't think any other Espada would do. "

Asuka watched Torre silently as she watched him come to a certain realization and a knowing smile crept its way onto her face. Her face lit up as he’d recognize a very specific detail about her. A small pang of pride surged within her and immediately after was a wave of bashfulness. She would whistle and look elsewhere. Anywhere else but at Torre for the moment. “Uhhhh….” She didn’t quite know how to answer mainly because she felt as though he likely already didn’t take her seriously or felt as though she might want to fight him or something… Or that she’d get berated again for her position. People often seemed to love doing that to her.

Was it easier to lie to him about something so simple? Yeah.. Well.. no… Well….. Yes…But no!! No no no! Bad! Sure she could skirt around the complications that came with being her while being the Segunda but then he’d just find out anyway. That and lying was bad. Big no no and you don’t lie to your friends right? A-Assuming he wanted to be her friend at all of course~! All of it was all so nerve wracking to the teal haired girl. It was also a possibility that she was making a much bigger deal of all of this than she should be.. Totes. She’d been through a rainbow of emotions in the span of a few seconds until she would look at the taller male with conviction.

“I’m the Segunda Espada.”

She shook her head as if to rid herself of her earlier thoughts. Her chin was raised slightly, as if she were proclaiming something super important. Bright emerald eyes watched his face to gauge his reaction. He didn’t seem terribly aggressive. She didn’t know why she thought all that stuff earlier.. or why she was letting her imagination run more wild than usual! “M-Me! I’m the Segunda Espada! Yessir~!” It took some getting used to as she’d spent most of her life in Torre’s position. She laughed nervously and scratched the back of her head, blushing slightly. “You want to be with me?” Phrased terribly but her mind wasn’t exactly there. "No one's ever wanted that before.." She spoke softly to herself before she started to warm up even more to the idea. It'd been so long! Really, Asuka was getting carried away by the idea that someone wanted to be fraccion. “N-No one’s ever asked me that before! Or said that stuff!”

She was gasping and jumping and squealing excitedly. She launched herself into Torre’s arms, giving him the hug of a lifetime. “I can’t believe I scored! Wow! This is gonna be awesome! We’re gonna have so much fun together Torre! This means so much to me.” She smiled brightly at the taller, warmer male. Elated was an understatement. “Dragons are so cool! Did ya know I was big serpent when I was an adjuchas?” She let go and started waving her hands excitedly. “Ya ya ya! I just had a tail like—“ She looked to the ground, picking up a small helpless snake hollow that was slithering on by rather peacefully. “Like this guy! No legs! It was weird finally being able to walk! Did you fly as a dragon?” She’d let the snake carefully slither on out of her grasp before clasping her hands. Her thoughts and mouth were both running rampant as Asuka was entirely caught up in the moment and his words. “Will you take me flying one day!? Please, please oh pretty please!?”

Her hands were clasped as she looked up at him with a look that could only be described as puppy dog eyes. She’d remain there for the moment, waiting on an answer before grabbing his arms and dragging him along inside Las Noches. “Gosh there’s so much to tell you and show you! Let’s get you a room and settled in first~!” With a hop, skip and a jump, Asuka would escort Torre down the empty hallways of Las Noches. "Soooo... Have you uhm.. uh.. 'served' an Espada before?"

Staring into the eyes of the smaller arrancar he wondered what the result of his question was gonna be. This woman was certainly something special in his eyes for reasons he had yet to figure out, but if she was this strong then it would be as if fate put them together. There was nothing more than he wanted for what his instincts to be telling him to be true. Nothing more was hanging on the edge, she was perfect to be his master in every single way. A kind master who has the incredible levels of will power to not take another life unless she absolutely has to. One where he could rampage to protect or serve out her will however he needed to. 

Then she said it, she said the words he was waiting to hear for all this amount of seconds of silence. She was the Segunda, the second strongest arrancar in all of Las Noches or well that's how he understood it. He could feel a strange humming in his chest as if his heart had started to beat metaphorically of course. She was beautiful, strong, sure she was a bit airheaded or incredibly innocent as far as he was aware. Yet she was the one who fit all of his desires of a master to serve, every last one of them. 

" That is... Absolutely amazing. Milady Asuka. " His voice soft as if he was in his blissful mindset, it was strange to be like this yet he didn't ponder the thought. He bowed his head before the smaller arrancar, getting onto one knee to bend his back forehead as if he was submitting everything he had to her. " I vow to you, Milady Asuka Hito. Segunda Espada of Las Noches. My life, my loyalty, my wrath. All of it belongs to you and you alone, allow me to bear your burden and be the one to stain my hands in the blood of those who earn that fate of going against you. I am the former Great Eruptor from the southern end of Las Noches, and my heat filled fury is yours. " He stayed like this awaiting her after she was done speaking about how no one wanted to be her Fraccion before. 

This was his vow, his eternal promise to the smaller arrancar. Once his words were done, his vowed was sealed and she was chosen to be his eternal master. No matter what happens in the future, no matter what could possibly occur that might separate them. He promised, nay he vowed to be by her side for the rest of his existence. Torre couldn't help, but to be happy that he found the master of his deepest desires. Then she practically flung herself onto him hugging him like a wild koala. Explaining herself being a serpent back when she wasn't a arrancar letting the two know to be of reptilian kin. Standing up he noticed she was assaulting him with so many questions about his time as a dragon. 

" Ah yes i did have wings, although my body at the time was much too big for fast flight. Yet if i ever regain the ability to fly i will take you flying milady. " She asked him if he had ever served a Espada before as she practically was pulling on him to follow, shockingly she wasn't very strong. " Ah.... No.... This would be my first time. I kept to the vast sands during my time as a Adjuchas. "

For someone who was so insistent on being called her wrath and being known for going rampant, he was awfully sweet and soft spoken. Her eyes fell to his kneeling form as he declared his vows to her and they would widen after the first sentence. The color in cheeks would quickly intensify and deepen as he continued to speak. She opened her mouth as if to say something but what could she say in that moment? Her lashes fluttered and she looked around skittishly before focusing on her newest fraccion. This certainly was a new sensation.

Some how the idea of him being hers made her heart skip irregular beats for a few moments before she could get carried away by the next thing that popped into her head. Was that still a new sensation or…? Her fingers laced with one another nervously before she carried on, dragging him through the alabaster hallways. “You sure are strong, Torre.” She commented with a slight grunt as she tugged and pulled him like small puppy trying to pull its toy about. She looked back to him, properly scanning him from head to toe. “I guess I’m in good hands, aha~!” It sounded cool in her head but then she berated herself mentally, unsure of what kinda insinuation she was trying to make and resumed focusing on pulling him around.

She’d pull him to a room that was mainly designated for the Espada. Her Espada room specifically. “I don’t really use my room too much. I spend lots of time in the human world and have a home there so you’d have this nice, cushy room to yourself~!” Pause. Brainwave. She’d gasp just as she’d reach the door and squeeze his arm joyously. “It could be your room and our base of operations! Like a club house! Ohmygoshness!” With that, she unlocked the door and let him in. It was a fairly minimalistic room with the basic amenities. There were few decorations strewn about. Glow in the dark stars on the ceiling and cute ornaments and trinkets fashioned in the form of a serpent of some kind and sea horses. There were sea shells and coral statues, neatly placed in their own corner; she did very much love the sea. Perhaps he’d enjoy it much more here?

Gosh she hoped so. The rooms in the fraccion and numerous corridor were a mess..

Instantly, Asuka would run in and leap for the large blue bed and crash immediately, sinking into the cool feeling sheets. "I remember thinking when I was an adjuchas how much I wanted to get off the ground and do stuff. Flying seems like fun. I'd like to do that with ya some time!" She’d sigh happily before looking to him. She was his first… First Espada of course. “Who did you serve before? It’s hard to imagine you’ve never been with an Espada before.” Her hands slipped under her head and she’d idly kick her feet as she looked up at the ceiling. “I used to be a fraccion. I used to serve the old Segunda who was my teacher.. Eventually I decided I’d had enough. I wanted more.” Was he absolutely okay with this? WIth the way things were? “You’re super duper suuuuure you wouldn’t wanna be an Espada down the line Torre? No other dreams other than to serve and see the ocean?” She looked to him questioningly. “Either way, I’m happy you’ve decided to join me. We’ll have to train together sometime~!”

If one could only see them if was a thin five foot tall girl pulling what was almost a buff seven foot tall man. If it wasn't for her active attempts at pulling him, he was just walking to keep up with her. She mentioned that he was strong and she was in good hands because of this strength. She wasn't entirely wrong, and all these compliments only reinforced his desires to serve as her enforcer & protector. The dragons are typically seen as overprotective of their treasure hordes, which was odd as he had no treasure. Unless you consider his new master as his treasure horde then he has something to protect. 

" I needed my strength to crush the enemies that tried to fricken eating me " 

A beautiful female arrancar which somehow has the brain of a scatterbrained high-school girl, if not even younger in personality type. He wondered what this new feeling in his chest was, was it simply loyalty or something more? That was something more interesting to ponder about, why was he feeling warm whenever he looked at his new Espada. It was a amusing thought, he wondered yet he shook his head and refocused. She opened the door to her chambers and sure enough it looked just like the room of a high school or middle school girl. It wasn't exactly what he expected, but it wasn't terrible to the eyes. 

" Well that is a interesting piece of information. Sticking around in the world of the living sounds like a good idea. " She mentioned just giving Torre this room to use as his own while she is gone. Then she mentioned this being their club house or something, whatever that was he was too old for that concept to ever reach him. He figured it was just something related to a main base or main hide out, something similar to that kinda area. He thought that he could get used to this room however, it would most likely become stenched in the scent of sulfur within at least a day. 

He looked over at his new master resting up against the bed, listening to what she said while looking at the items from the sea. Gently tracing his hands over them feeling a form of pride from being able to touch them without getting wet. A big ol grin on his face from the excitement that came with the pride, god he hated the fear of drowning. She asked him who he had served before and looked back to her, walking over to her and sitting on the side of the bed.  " I never once served anyone in my life as a hollow, i always functioned by myself really. There were two caves i lived in, one in my basic form and one in my larger Adjuchas form. I feel as though i served someone when i was.... Alive, but i don't really remember that. " 

She spoke of her being the former servant to the previous Segunda and eventually had enough of it, made him believe that the previous Segunda was a real dick. Only then asking him if he was sure that servitude was his life goal with viewing the ocean as his side goal. It caused him to think about the future with the desire to gain more power one way or another. " Maybe one day to be a Espada and gain more power, but even then id need a real reason to want that kind of power. " He said softly looking into the eyes of his Espada once more and then nodded to her next statement. " If you would have me for training, then i will gladly join you in it. "

”I wanted to be human once.. Living in the human world lets me play out that fantasy I guess..”

Should she tell him that? Would he find that interesting? What if he decided she wasn’t worthy of being his master if she felt such a way? Asuka remembered Shiki’s reaction when she told him her secret. It was only met with shame and in the end, although Shiki was her best friend, she ended up feeling embarrassed. She couldn’t have possibly expected him or anyone really to meet that bit of news with happiness or acceptance. Las Noches was not the place for acceptance; not without being domineering first. She learned that first hand. ”Is that weird? I guess that’s weird..”

She noted the way he looked at her and their eyes connected for several long moments. With the way he looked at her, she felt like she could almost bare her soul to him.. and that terrified her immediately. While she felt like she could do all that, she felt like she could not. She would be alone again. Loneliness was her true aspect before she’d left before. She hadn’t realized how long she’d been looking at him and when she finally caught herself, Asuka quickly averted her gaze to the faint glowing stars on her ceiling all while feeling a fairly hot in her cheeks. Why think about all this now?

Asuka chewed her bottom lip as she debated wanting to tell Torre more about herself but as he continued to speak, she decided that she was much happier listening to him and turned over to look at him. A small smile tugged at her lips as he recounted his time as a hollow and as an Adjuchas. “Some of us remember our human lives and some don’t! It’s weird stuff! Maybe you remember deep down!” It would be super interesting to hear about his human life. “What did you look like as human! What was it like?! I wanna know~! I bet you looked like a movie star and stuff!” She fired questions and comments one after the other whilst sitting up and scooting closer to the former dragon. She was all too curious and excited to hear about him.

He would agree to training with her and Asuka would smile and silently stand, moving in front of him. She’d attempt to contain her excitement but that would last a mere five seconds until she would bounce yet again, squealing in utter delight and clapping her hands. “Awesome~! Yay! I’m so excited.” She’d calm down, sighing happily and pocketing her hands in her back pockets. “Fighting here is everything so.. I’m glad. We’ll get to learn lots about each other. “ She nodded and she’d start to back away towards the door. “For now, relax for a bit. I’ll find you when I’m ready.” With that, she’d give him a goodbye wave and leave him to his own devices while being all too giddy at finally scoring… a fraccion that is.
