Such a nuisance that all they had become to him now after facing off against them for the majority of his life. Throughout his existence there had always been two constance. Both of which just so happened to be his enemies. The Vandenreich were arguably the biggest aspect of his life despite the fact he wasn't one of the Quincy within the Emperor's feeble grasp. The Hollows though were part of what gave Quincy's their reason for existing and Asmoskon always lived to face them down even now when it was established by him for all free Quincy that no Hollow shall be slain by a Quincy for the sake of the greater good.
Soul Society had always been against the Quincy from the moment they realized that the soul cycle was in danger of them. So many had tried before only to fail in swaying them towards a partnership. How he had succeeded in gaining the protection of not only himself, but all Quincy who follow and uphold the rules agreed upon was still beyond him. All he could credit the outcome towards was his stubbornness and relationship to Hotaru. Now though it just made dealing with the typical beastly Hollows so . . .trivial. Long gone were the days when a Hollow was considered a challenging foe.
Still wounding them heavily or keeping them bound long enough for a shinigami to arrive and purify them was the best course of action and the rules. Even if he had a meeting to attain. Standing in the middle of the subway platform with several of the Hollows scattered around him forced to the ground by his spiritual pressure. They had believed him to be weak simply because they couldn't gauge him and had foolishly walked into their cages.
Now though as he fired one arrow after another blasting through the limbs of each Hollow. The perhaps was the same as always to simply keep them from getting away. The screaming and smell of Hollow blood were sickening after dealing with them for so long. Perhaps that was one of the things that truly made him evil. He couldn't stand the stench of Hollow blood anymore yet the blood of Quincy still was a welcome scent. Just then though he felt an Arrancar coming to the rescue.
Wandering around Tokyo certainly had its benefits when you couldn't be seen. For one, all the chocolate in the world was available for the taking, as long as you were careful enough to hide it. Luckily, Adolf had mastered this practice back during his time in Brussels. Gods, how he wished he could relive that day just once. Either way, the past is in the past, and things are even better now than they were then. For one, the candy addiction he seemed to be developing was certainly a "positive". While it certainly came with some health problems for a normal person to consume as much as he did when he got the chance, Adolf was not a normal person. He was dead, after all. And as such, there was nothing in his path of candy consumption for the day, or so he thought.
While making his way to a small corner-store near the subways, Adolf quickly picked up on the presence of hollows. While it was faint, it was certainly there. Perhaps this would take a pause to his candy runs, in order to say he did something productive in the Human World? After all, spending his entire day taste-testing various types of sweets was not something that an Espada really should've been doing. Being productive with his time was almost a necessity, and what better way to actually do so then to help fellow hollows with their hunts? This is exactly what Adolf was thinking, as he made his way down the stairs and into the underground.
As he began to take each step downwards, descending into the subway, a distinct smell came to his nose. Hollow blood. So whatever was down there that they were hunting was certainly able to hold its own against them. Perhaps this would make for quite the fight? It was certainly a chance he was going to have to take, as hollows were being hunted as he walked. His pace picked up, and the scent got stronger. Eventually he was within earshot of various wails that the hollows in question seemed to be making. His pace grew even faster. What was causing them to freak out like this? Surely it wasn't anything outrageously powerful, right? Hell, he couldn't feel anything spiritual from down there except for the hollows, surely his senses were fooling with him?
Upon reaching the commotion, Adolf called out to the Quincy who happened to be standing there. "Hey," he shouted, "Mind if I ask what the hell you think you're doing?" Before even saying anything, Adolf's weapons were out, and he was on guard. All it took was one fight for him to learn that not being on guard had a likelihood of costing him his life. Never again would that happen. "Look," Adolf said, his tone of voice turning quite condescending, "if you leave now, things'll be better off for the both of us." He smirked as he watched the man in front of him. If he hadn't fired an attack by that point, Adolf knew that the fight would be a nice change of pace from what he'd been used to committing himself to in the past. He began to hope that this was the case as he reversed the grip on one of his twin daggers, and assumed an obviously defensive stance.
This was such an annoyance even if it had been the best possible outcome. He had fought so hard for the Quincy at the hands of Central Forty Six the court of Soul Society. After finally coming to the agreement Asmoskon had been so ecstatic he has succeeded in that which the Emperor has failed. At least that’s what so many of the Quincy that pledge to him believed now yet despite everything he was still so weak by comparison. The Emperor may have strength yet Asmoskon knee that that man hadn’t actually tried to ally with Soul Society. He had used his own people as pawns to grow himself and that was the ultimate betrayal.
The pain filled subway station was starting to give him a headache. It wasn't enough that there was a handful of Hollows crying like a bunch of toddlers, but the stink of their blood filled his nose. He had to uphold his position though despite how easy it was for him to simply kill them all now. Doing so was the very reason that Soul Society had gone against the Quincy and after all his hard work Asmoskon couldn't afford any of his followers to slip up so how could he do the very thing he was asking them to not.
After a bit more time passed he could feel the Arrancar stepping down into the subway station. Turning Asmoskon would look right at the Arrancar as he began to speak. Well this certainly had the markings of a situation that was going to quickly get out of hand. Although he wasn't very good at sensing rieatsu Asmoskon could tell that this Arrancar was worlds beyond the basic Hollows still crying in pain. He had his zanpakuto drawn and yet Asmoskon would keep his hands in his coat pockets listening to what he assumed was reason from this Arrancar.
It seemed that he wanted to keep the Hollows from being purified yet didn't want to fight, or perhaps he just believed that he could defeat him and didn't wish to expand the effort of doing so. It had been some time since he had faced off against an Arrancar that was powerful enough to challenge him. The last truly strong Arrancar he had come across had been Kashmir shortly before the abomination that was the Primera of the Espada Adolo had vanished once again. Compared to the strongest of the Espada Asmoskon was certain this dark haired Arrancar would be easy to handle, but caution was still his ally.
"If you wish to keep these Hollows the way that they are then you have no option, but to face me in combat. You should really think about this before you decide. Are they worth saving? They're still beastly spirits. Hollows and Quincy may be enemies, but you're an Arrancar. You have regained your reason so I suggest you use it and leave. These Hollows and all of the souls within them will be soon living in Soul Society. So make a decision. Step up or shut up." Asmoskon was finished speaking now was the time to see just what this Arrancar would do and he would return his actions in kind.
These words quickly told Adolf a lot about the man before him. He was reasonable, that's for sure. Adolf was certainly smart enough to realize that this fight was going to be rather one-sided. That much was a given, as have all of his past fights. He certainly prepared for the worst making his way down into the subway. The fact that this man was still giving him the chance to flee showed that he either recognized that he was stronger than the hollows that had just been subdued, or he didn't want any unnecessary conflict. Another thing he picked up on were the words, "Are they worth saving?" Surely the man before Adolf was a believer in survival of the fittest? That would certainly explain the current situation at had if that were true. Either way, Adolf already knew he was going to like this man.
He let out a long, drawn out sigh, and shook his head into the ground. "Fighting isn't something I'm particularly looking to do here. In fact, fighting was one of the last things I was hoping to do. Though, if you're not going to change your position, I suppose I have to. Such is the life of an Espada." Adolf rolled his eyes with this last statement, resuming his stance. He understood that this may not actually been the case, having to need to protect these lesser beings due to his position and rank, but this is what he felt he needed to due to that same title he had been given. Quite apparently, this was something he was not happy with. "Adolf Reinhard, Octava Espada. Pleased to make your acquaintance." For one of the first times after getting the position of Espada, he actually told the truth about his rank. This was due to a sort of respect for the man before him. Still though, respected or not, Adolf knew that a fight was necessary.
"So, I'm not particularly looking to die, here, and I'm sure you're not either. So, why don't we take this rather casually? Y'know, perhaps have some kind of conversation alongside the conflict? It'd certainly take the edge away from locking blades, that's for sure. Granted, that decision is still up to you either way. For now though..." As Adolf trailed off, he quickly snapped, releasing a Pesquis as to keep an eye on his surroundings with the wave of pulsing reiatsu trailing from his fingertips. He was not about to be caught off guard by anything that this man was planning on doing. Should he be looking to take this seriously, opposite of what Adolf was planning, that'd surely be the end of the Espada. "Let's just try to have a little fun with it. So, might I ask what brings you here?"
The first reaction that this Arrancar gave Asmoskon after he had given him the option of simply leaving just as he had given him in hand was a meager sigh. It seemed that despite both of them being powerful spiritual entities neither of them wished to face off against the other. Asmoskon wasn't quite sure why an Arrancar would have a problem with facing him in the field of battle given the natural advantage that he possessed against him yet judging a book by the cover was never a good idea.
Asmoskon took notice of this Arrancar's weapons. "Knives. Could be interesting at least." The thoughts rushed throughout his mind as he pulled on his experience of the past when he had utilized both knives and hatches in combat. It had been years since he used either type of weapon yet the knowledge of how it felt and what a novice could do with it at least were still present in his mind. His left eye stayed steady on the Arrancar only shifting slightly as the Arrancar revealed himself as a member of the Espada.
"So just like I thought. He'll be the first one in awhile. I wonder just what number he is though. I'll have to find out otherwise my curiosity won't let me get any sleep tonight." Asmoskon smirked slightly turning his gaze for a moment to the left as one of the Hollow's tried to focus it's reiatsu in order to regenerate one of its lost limbs. The look of his eye was clear and the beast understood. Move again and you'll lose more.
He made sure that he was constantly sensing the reiatsu of the Arrancar while his ears and nose were set on him as well. He was no fool and his experience kept him alive even against those vastly more powerful or older than himself. If the Arrancar moved Asmoskon would be able to tell and react in turn. Turning his head back though if the Espada stayed still and waited to hear if he would leave the Hollow's be he would be able to tell by his eye that such wouldn't be in the deck today.
"You're much more pleasant than the last Espada I came across. I cannot bend in this situation. These Hollows are here to devour innocence. As a human I cannot condone the slaughter of innocent humans. A little advice for any Hollows who may follow you Espada. Have them feed in prisons. I'm sure others including myself will be less adamant on keeping the humans alive if they themselves are beasts."
Combat was pretty much set in stone now between them yet the Espada answered in kind once again. Giving him name was something that Asmoskon hadn't received, at least not in this way from an Arrancar before. Whoever this Espada was when he had been human perhaps he was a knight or doctor. He was far more fair and kind than the typical and it was a shame that he had to be here now. "Asmoskon Masurao, Head of the Masurao. Your acquaintance would certainly be welcome if the situation was different."
Asmoskon could see Adolf's stance and knew that despite using daggers the Espada could throw them accurately as well. The biggest question though was whether or not he could utilize them alongside techniques such as cero or bala not to mention if he had some way of returning his zanpakuto to him after they were thrown. As a primary practitioner of distance combat these were basic questions and concepts that Asmoskon took into account during every battle now though it would just be a matter of time before he found out.
"You may speak if you like I have no right to keep you quiet. Silence may serve you better though as you fight not just for your life and theirs. I'm unsure if you know this or not Octava, but I'm not your only opponent. Time is on my side today. Shinigami have already been notified of these Hollows. It will be a short time now before they arrive and then how will you fair. They're not as open as I when it comes to Arrancar. Especially an Espada, elite soldier of their enemy. I will give you the option though. Retreat any time you wish while you can. I give no other courtesy."
Asmoskon would wait a moment while focusing on his cross that like most Quincy draped from his neck. The reiatsu of the area was saturated with Hollow yet the Human World reiatsu was so easily manipulated that absorbing that which had yet to be tarnished was simple. Asmoskon would afford the Octava a moment to ponder everything that had just been said before he extended his right hand outwards with his index extended pointed at the face of the Octava. In the next moment a small black arrow with crimson edges would be fired from his finger and rush for the Espada at a speed of 800 prepared to pierce through his skull.
Upon seeing Asmoskon raise his hand, Adolf knew it was time to act. He took a shot in the dark and decided to duck, hoping that the Quincy was aiming for his upper body. Luckily enough, that was what happened. Through the use of the Pesquis he had active, it was it was quite clear to the Espada that the arrow fired was aiming straight for his head. "Damn, alright then," he said with a smirk. Upon ducking underneath of the arrow fired, Adolf almost instinctively began to rush towards Asmoskon. There wasn't any real need to blitz his way towards the man with a Sonido at the moment, though he wasn't above using it if necessary.
During his sprint towards Asmoskon, Adolf decided to stafe left and right, as to keep himself from taking any hits he could. That, plus it'd look pretty badass along the way, and this was a top priority for the Espada, no doubt. The second that he made his way towards the Quincy, he'd take one of his twin daggers, and slash immediately at the back of his legs, reaching out to actually do so. With this, it'd set up for a rather effective kick straight to the head. Upon pulling himself backward from the attempted attack, Adolf would begin to spin as quick as he could followed with a small hop into the air, as to release a kick straight into the Quincy's head. Granted, physical attacks were not exactly his forte, that wasn't to say they were ineffective.
If the kick landed, he'd surely use Asmoskon's head as a form of surface to push himself off of, sending him backward almost to where he started. If not, a Sonido was surely to follow. His "plan" was to get in, attack, and then put some distance between the two of them. Even though he knew that Asmoskon was a Quincy, and that ranged attacks were probably the best situation for him to be in, he wanted the man to think the same of Adolf. He wanted the man to think that ranged attacks were his specialty as well. As such, he followed up quickly with a bala from that range, allowing it to fire at roughly the same speed as a bullet, all the while throwing one of his daggers into the air high enough so that he could use one quickly, and then catch it.
"I appreciate your allowing me to escape if necessary," Adolf said with a friendly smile, "but hopefully it won't need to come to that point. I'm here on a personal trip, I'd like to keep it that way!" A small chuckle followed suit once he finished speaking, and then he continued. "So, like I asked previously, what brings you here, Mister Masurao? Are you stationed here, or similarly to me where you're here because why the hell not? Granted, don't feel like you need to answer. I'm just tryina' make some friendly conversation that you're more than welcome to participate in if you'd like." Even through the talking, Adolf kept his guard up. Sure, he was a chatterbox, but that wasn't to say that he wasn't smart about it.
Reiatsu Pool: 2750/3000
-50 for Bala. -100 for Sonido, refunded if action is interrupted or alternate conditions are met.
A straightforward and simple technique that hardens the user's Reiatsu and releases it like a swift blast of spiritual energy. While the technique is not nearly as powerful as a Cero, its speed is 20 times faster and allows for it to be fired in quick repetition. The orb of reiatsu fired varies in size and strength, some Arrancar creating one the size of a basketball with the rough power of a massive punch, and others creating Bala with enough power to blast holes in adversaries. Some Espada can create Bala as large and powerful as an average Arrancar's Cero.
How to use technique:
The user must first aim and then fire the technique, as is custom of any projectile type.
Technique Type: [Hollow Technique] - Kidou, Quincy Technique, Bount Technique, Human Technique, Hollow Technique, Other
Technique Element: [None] - If any
Technique Description and Effects: [What does your technique do? How strong is it? What is it's range of abilities? List these things below.]
A powerful technique, Sonido is a step that increases movement speed for a single step. Essentially, it magnifies the speed of just that one step, by 13 times. Each step for Sonido costs 100 Reiatsu. Additionally, this technique does not take up a technique slot.
How to use technique: [How do you use this technique? List below.]
Just use it and drain the Reiatsu.
Drawback: [What are the disadvantages and drawbacks of your technique? Don't forget that the drawback must be equal in strength to the technique. List everything related to the drawback below.]

It was to be expected yet that didn’t keep Asmoskon from taking note in his mind that this Espada was capable of reacting the moment that he had extended his index finger and managed to duck down low enough that the arrow that Asmoskon had just fired passed over his head harmlessly. He was fast enough to think and react which meant that if nothing else hitting him would be harder than the basic beasts that were Hollows.
Rushing towards him Asmoskon finally took his left hand from his coat pocket now revealing not his hands to the Espada. It might come off as fairly odd though that despite being a Quincy Asmoskon hadn’t revealed his bow yet and only after the distance between himself and his opponent was being decreased rapidly did he actually take his hands out. He watched carefully studying the movements of the Espada as he approached. The way that he shifted form left to right was correct if he were facing a typical distance practitioner. He was almost as fast as himself which meant that up close he may be in even more danger.
That was a key part of his fighting style though that had both injured and saved him multiple times in the past. Now he would just have to act accordingly and see if it was worth it. To his surprise the Espada continued until he was virtually touching him while still ducked. It was an usual attack method, but as he reached out with his arm Asmoskon could tell his target’s plan of attack. It wasn’t hard to tell when the Espada was holding knives and ducked slow as if he were a slut in the middle of a dance floor. When his zanpakuto would touch against Asmoskon’s skin though he would feel resistance almost as if he were trying to cut another Arrancar.
Asmoskon could feel the texture of this Espada’a zanpakuto pressed up against the back of his leg. He was ready to fire off an arrow right here at point blank range yet he could see the movements of the Espada swaying into another motion. He was ready to move once again. Asmoskon waited patiently for the right moment to present itself. Although incredibly different form his usual fighting style waiting unfazed as long as his tattoos stayed active seemed to be working. He was watching pinning down how this Espada fought. He stepped backwards and began to spin. Asmoskon had fought against enough physical practitioners that he had a idea of what the Espada was planning.
Stepping backwards Asmoskon out just enough space between them that the Espada’s foot would pass by his face. In that same moment though Asmoskon channeled his reiatsu causing his short pitch black bow to materialize in his grasp. He wouldn’t wait shooting an arrow from the bow at nearly point blank range aimed to pierce the Arrancar on the back of his thigh through the leg that he had just used to kick. This Espada utilized rapid movement heavily so far. It was time to disassemble his fighting options. Whether or not the arrow managed to pierce through the Heirro of the Espada or not he would be quick to execute sonido returning the distance between them once again.
Asmoskon now has his short bow held outward in his right hand. If the Espada hadn’t noticed it while he had tried to kick him he would have a clear view now. What skin of Asmoskon he could see such as his hands, neck and face were covered in what looked like tattoos. It wouldn’t be hard to piece together that the resistance that had prevented his zanpakuto from cutting the Quincy was what he was seeing now. Whether he gave anymore thought to it Asmoskon was uncertain as the markings vanished from Asmoskon’s form as the Quincy deactivated the property.
Asmoskon could sense the reiatsu flow of the Arrancar suddenly spike slightly meaning that he was channeling his reiatsu in order to execute some sort of technique more than likely. The distance between the both of them was the same that it had been a moment ago prior to the Arrancar rushing him. The Arrancar took aim giving away to the Quincy just what he was intending. Asmoskon fires an arrow form the short bow which would soar between them striking the bala dead center and destroying both of them. Perhaps the Arrancar would begin to realize just what he was facing.
Asmoskon noticed that one of his hands were empty yet hadn’t seen where he had placed the other. Could he have some sort of technique to make it invisible? Teleportation? Could he have simply dropped it? Did he already stab him and he just couldn’t feel it? So many questions yet Asmoskon had learned that the simplest of answers was usually the correct one. He simply took a moment to listen as the Arrancar spoke once again. He could hear the sound of the knife cutting through the air between them. He was planning something time to play along.
“I’ve got business in the city today. If you don’t want to fight and don’t plan on causing any trouble than I suggest once again that you get out of here fast. Otherwise you’ll be found by the Shinigami. Once they arrive it won’t matter if they’re strong or not. I’ll be forced to capture you as well.” Asmoskon paused to let what he just said sit in. “You’re an Espada after all. Think of all the pain you can save yourself from if you don’t get captured and tortured for information by Soul Society.” Asmoskon would fire another arrow from the short bow yet this time it wasn’t aimed at Adolf. It was at his side. The arrow would hit the edge of a cement support beam. Reflecting off the cement the arrow would begin a new course for the Arrancar‘s left hip. Asmoskon watched for the moment that Adolf realized what was going on he would shoot another arrow this time at a speed of 1600 aimed to strike him in his right thigh.
Remaining Reiatsu: 1175/500 Markings of Archer: {-100} Class 3 Arrow: {-100}
Managing to quickly dodge out of the way from the first arrow, Adolf grew cautious. He knew this was going to be far from easy; his opponent surely meant business. He'd need to fix that sometime soon. Perhaps throwing the fight on its head? That'd certainly be an interesting way of going about it, and surely it'd be a good idea. He smirked, a way to actually disrupt the fight quickly growing in his head. He had a plan, all right, and was certainly ready to act on it first chance he had actually gotten. As such, he took a few steps back, keeping an eye on his opponent. As soon as he had the area to himself, he quickly... ran himself through with his blades?
Letting out a small grunt from the pain, The wounds in his stomach began to glow a faint red. A small heat could be felt rising in the tunnel, as both the wounds and blades began to glow brighter and brighter. Adolf smirked. "Dragon Up, Macht Des Drachen!" he shouted. He was soon coated in a small "suit" of crimson flame, completely covering him in less than a second starting from his blades. After a short period of time, Adolf quickly flexed his newly formed wings, sending the flames everywhere. They weren't anything large, but could certainly burn if exposure was extended. His smirk persisted through the transformation. "Resurrection: Primera Etapa."
Standing before the Quincy was effectively a new person; his hair had been seemingly cut short, and dyed mostly silver. His eyes transitioned to a blood red color. From his back, newly formed wings rested close to his frame. His arms were now clawed, with rather long ones at that. His legs were now digitigrade, and also sharpened like his claws, though more representing the shape of the beast he represented. Sticking true to the theme, Adolf's body was quickly coated in a set of scales, and had various sharpened and curved spikes all over his body. He was quite effectively his own weapon, and a damn good one at that.
His smirk now displayed sharpened teeth, showing much more of an evil grin. He continued to wait patiently for the Quincy to do something, though was pleasantly surprised by the sound of his voice. He was speaking, something Adolf had began to think against. Had he diverted some of his attention to words, he might've gotten overwhelmed in the fight. To demonstrate the weaknesses of speaking, Adolf flexed his hand up as fast as he could, keeping his hand pointed slightly upwards, and immediately began to focus reiatsu to the tip of his finger. This reiatsu, however, was quite odd in nature; as opposed to the normal crimson color of his reiatsu, this was quite dark.
As Asmoskon was in the middle of speaking, the likelihood that the roaring of the black sphere from Adolf's fingers would drown him out were rather high. Due to the charge time, he'd surely be able to have a second to react, but due to the size of the wave he was about to release, the situation could have been supremely dangerous for him anyway. The hell that was about to be unleashed would've likely been enough to destroy through The sphere began to condense in on itself just as quickly as it formed, into seemingly nothing. It was at this point, the roaring seemingly stopped for a split second.
"Cero Oscuras," Adolf said in the silence.
At that moment, A black wave of destruction erupted from the sphere, blasting through the subway, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. Due to the positioning of his arm, he made sure that this blast would reach surface level. The slight upward curve of his arm was both enough to send the blast through the ceiling, as well as through the floor beneath them, due to the cannon of black reiatsu just being that massive. It was, after all, several times more massive than a normal Cero, and much, much more powerful. He was not about to let someone as arrogant as Asmoskon seemed to be show him up. If anything, it was going to be the other way around. Worst case, he'd just fire another one if the Quincy had a way to escape from the blast.
Whether or not this Cero or the Gran Rey Cero is the ultimate traditional Arrancar Cero is unknown. It has been speculated for several years in Hueco Mundo, but no definitive test has been able to prove it. Thus far, they have seemed quite equal. Cero Oscuras from an Espada #4 or higher is forbidden under the dome of Las Noches, but only because any Espada #4 or higher is prohibited from Ressurection under the dome anyway. This Cero is usable only by Arrancar in their released state. It releases an enormous, menacing black Cero several times the size of a regular one. It immediately obscures and removes all light from the area, so that all can be seen as it approaches is an all-consuming black.
Its charging speed and firing time are identical to a regular Cero, and it fires in a straight line. However, the explosive potential is considerably greater, and this Cero has twice the reiatsu strength of the user.
How to use technique:
Fire like a regular Cero while in a released state.

This Espada although he fight between them had only just started was holding his own fairly well. Asmoskon knew in truth that the reason he hadn't been faced with a difficult opponent in what felt like months was simply because his training had pushed him into a new league. This Espada was a good refresher and Asmoskon although he had no intention of losing or allowing him to save these Hollows was interested to see just how much he might get pushed.
He had managed to evade the first arrow which wasn't a surprise it hadn't been fired with any sort of strategy. Now though it looked like the talkative Espada was keeping his mouth shut in order to focus. He could see the smirk run across the face of this Arrancar and for a moment thought perhaps he had over looked something. Maybe the Arrancar possessed an ability that he had overlooked and he was trapped now. Could he have made a rookie mistake?
When the Espada ran himself through with his zanpakuto all those questions were answered. "Oh he's just releasing his full power. I did tell him that time isn't on his side. Still was hoping he could do more without relying on his release. Whatever guess it's time to start being serious." Asmoskon had stopped speaking out loud and now thought to himself as he watched the Espada release his might.
It might came as a surprise or perhaps puzzeling to the Espada, but Asmoskon remained standing. Unlike the typical opponent that would normally answer a release with their own Asmoskon did no such action. He remained sturdy and began to study everything that had changed about the Espada. Experience facing off against more than a few Arrancar had taught Asmoskon that based on the form one might be able to figure out a general thing about their abilities. This Espada definitely wasn't a subtle one. Asmoskon could see the long claws that now were apart of his hands along with the scales that glimmered across his body now. "Some sort of lizard it seems although he said dragon so he may possess a fire ability or some sort of element." Asmoskon pondered just what sort of ability this Espada would have now that he released.
The scales and claws weren't the only thing though. He could easily see that spikes also dotted across his body. So far this Espada had displayed a tendency to fight up close which meant that the spikes could be a potential weapon just as much as the claws. Close combat was definitely no more of a threat than it had been mere moments ago. The Espada flashed a smirk which Asmoskon couldn't help, but answer with a grin. "Give it everything you've got Octava."
Asmoskon had cut himself short from what he had been planning on saying to answer the Espada's previous questions. It was obvious that the battle between them was quickly becoming more and more serious. This Espada hadn't wanted a serious fight and while Asmoskon had told him that he wasn't going to take the match easy he hadn't gone full power from the start. In fact Asmoskon had been giving the Espada pretty much what he wanted.
Now it seemed though that he would need to meet the unbridled power of this Espada with his own might. The Espada held out his finger much the same as Asmoskon had done at the beginning. The Quincy could see the cero being channeled yet noticed the difference immediately. It was black reiatsu which meant nothing good. Asmoskon was quick firing off an arrow from his short bow aimed directly at the face of the Octava.
This shot though wasn't meant to cause him any sort of harm nor was it meant to stop his cero. Asmoskon knew that preventing that cero from being fired now was virtually impossible. He had seen the manner that he was aiming and knew the trajectory of the cero. By firing an arrow directly at the face Asmoskon knew that at least to some extend the attention of the Octava would be drawn by instinct.
Asmoskon had just fired off the singular arrow from his shortbow towards the face of this dragonic Espada while he prepared to fire off the black cero. Asmoskon hadn't noticed it yet, but the reiatsu of the cero matched in a way his own reiatsu. It was pitch black with only coloration on the edge of the outside rather strange, but nothing beyond the the occassional circumstance of random fate.
Asmoskon had fired off the arrow in order to pull the attention of this Espada right towards it. He was certain that the Espada would be confident he could fire off his cero before the arrow reached him which would save him from it. He like virtually everyone though didn't know about perhaps Asmoskon's most versatile technique. One that he had developed after years of intense mental and reiatsu training. He had fired the bow with his left and now he motioned his right fingers to the side.
Just like that the arm of the Espada would be pushed to the side towards the subway tunnel wall away from Asmoskon. The cero would be fired from the Espada blasting through the wall and the hard stone and cement behind it. It was both a good and bad thing that they were beneath the streets of Tokyo at the moment. The cero had torn through the underground it the point that off in the distance other subway tunnels could be seen.
A massive tunnel had been formed now from that cero one large enough that several semi trucks could drive through it at once. Asmoskon was certain that it was at least three perhaps even four times the size of the actual train tunnel. If this Espada had fired that cero off above ground at the city itself the capital would have lost a large portion of itself. If nothing else Asmoskon couldn't and wouldn't allow him to execute that technique again.
Asmoskon absorbed the reiatsu from the surrounding area into his cross knowing that he would need the abundance of reiatsu to utilize his more potent techniques. The Espada would have to deal with the arrow that had been fired off towards his face now and while he did Asmoskon prepared to get serious. This Espada had taken the action necessary that he couldn't hold much back anymore. So whether he got hit or didn't the Espada would see Asmoskon right in his face the moment after.
It wasn't quite Asmoskon though. It was his face and his features, but the coloration was completely different! His skin was pitch black, but his eyes, mouth, lips and hair were all crimson red. "HI THERE! NICE TO MEET YOU! BYE!" The tone was a happy, loud, energetic one that seemed fitting to a child. A massive smile spread across his face as suddenly the Asmoskon in front of Adolf exploded in a large mass of reiatsu that would be hard to evade as it spread eighty feet in all directions.
