Ajraka lifted a brow slightly. She remained calm for a little before that spear lanced it's way in, colliding with the pond and tilting her head for a moment as she took notice of the quincy coming in. She perked up, suddenly grinning from ear to ear. "AH! You must be Priscilla's friends!" She chimed up, interrupting some of their words as she immediately assumed they were in the vandereich. That was, after all, the most recent quincy she had met, outside of the few she had in her crew.

But THEY had been rescued from Hueco Mundo.

All the same, she idly swished her tail as she got a general feel for the situation. So she was right. This child had killed two quincy. And stolen something from them. Ajraka shook her head and sighed, grinning from ear to ear. "I remember when I used to steal things." She shook her head, reminiscing for a moment before she grinned wide, showing those gnarled teeth as in an instant, she was beside Nesr, promptly grabbing the bird and then lifting them. "Put down your blades Zahra. The bird. You said that you could protect her, yes?" She smiled calmly and promptly she WHINGED the bird in the direction of the quincy with ALL of her speed and strength, the bird would have so much force and air pressure behind the move that it would be incredibly hard for her to even use her wings to correct herself.

"Bird is strong yes?~ You say that you will be fine protecting the girl, yes? I will keep the girl from dying. And you can deal with her enemies~ Prove your point that you can protect her. For every attack you fail to keep from her. You will be wrong an extra time~" She hummed cheerfully. She reached down, and TORE a massive rotted log from the ground, about half as tall as she was. She SWUNG it, smashing it into tht lance and knocking it off path and away from it's path to Nade.

Her tail snaked out, slipping around Nade as she saw those electrical arrows. Thankfully, she had left the water on her way to protect nade, so she didn't have to worry about being shocked by those. "That makes one." She hums, in reference to the spear that had almost hit the bount. Her tail shifted, placing Nade onto her shoulder as she surveyed the quincy they would be fighting. Well, Nesr would be fighting.

"Hmmm, you really should be more smart about who you steal from. I used to steal shit a lot too. The killing thing didn't come till later though. Still, you gotta be more careful." She nodded lightly to NAde, a smirk on her muzzle as she glanced at the bount. "Don't worry. If Bird failes, like she probably will. Then I will take them out for you." She affirmed with a bright grin.

After all, she'd cleaned up plenty of her Crew's mess before. What was one more?

[Nadezhda Esterházy]

Nadezhda's subtle smirk continued to mock the group of furious Quincy. It appeared her misdeeds had caught up with her. Not only had she murdered someone but stolen something precious to them. And yet, Nadezhda was rather pleased with herself. She didn't think they would follow the bread crumbs so perfectly. As someone with an appreciation for games, she is particularly fond of games that taunt and confuse participants, whether or not their participation is voluntary or involuntary. This band of Quincy had no clue they were pawns in a game created for her amusement.

Amid her fun, she couldn't help but notice the emphasis on the item she had stolen. It was the first thing they mentioned. One would assume they'd be more upset over the death of their friend, but it didn't appear that way. She recalled the time she spent with them and how focused they were on those peculiarly shaped bracelets. Their motivation seemed far less about grief are more about the item she stole. Either way, she wasn't about to give it back to them. It was now in her possession and that's where it would remain.

Nadezhda shrugged off Ajraka's comments with a coy grin. She thinks you're a petty thief, and a bad one at that. Koschei said softly. Nadezhda couldn't deny the humor of the situation. I think this one thrives on situations like this. You know the type, Koschei. They know everything and never pass-up an opportunity to show-off. Nadezhda thought as her eyes inspected Ajraka. That's not the worst type of person, Naze. Koschei's words prompted her to look at the Quincy before responding. No, it most certainly isn't.

What would you like me to do with these Quincy? Koschei asked earnestly. These three sort of ruin the game I had planned. I was much too distracted with them to notice their approach, but I also didn't think they'd find me so fast. How did they do it?! Smarter than I thought. Oh! Koschei look at that. They have someone capable of sensing you. The small, pudgy one. He can't quite put his finger on it, can he? He knows you're here, but can't see you. Only sense your presence. Give our little friend a fright, would you? I'll be fine. She commanded from her thoughts.

Koschei immediately began speeding toward the Quincy cowering behind the one wielding javelins. He couldn't sense her at all and apparently the one that could was too bewildered to share this with his friend. He began tapping his friend on the shoulder sheepishly. "Ugh, Klaus." He said whistling to get his attention. "What do you want, Günter? Can't you see I'm busy?!" Günter recoiled a bit before a more determined expression came across his face. "There is something coming towards us!!!" He shouted suddenly. Klaus formed a javelin in each hand, but he could not see anything. "What are you talking about? I knew we shouldn't have brought you along. You're so useless. There is nothing there."

Günter's faced reddened as he slapped Klaus on the back. "THERE IS SOMETHING THERE!" He then leaped forward. "And I'll prove it." He wimpishly formed a bow and fired an arrow, though the arrow floundered and barely left his bow. Klaus laughed at his younger brother. "You are just awful. Sit back and let us handle this." Günter's backed away quickly as he stared forward frighteningly. "Coward." Klaus berated as he shoved his younger brother. Günter stumbled backwards, barely keeping himself from falling.

Klaus scoffed as he looked toward, readying himself for another assault on Nadezhda and Ajraka. "Like I said. Let me handle...this...?" His arrogant tone waned as confusion set in. He touched the side of his face, his fingers smearing a wet liquid onto his cheek. He brought his hand in front of his face and incredulously inspected his fingers. Was that blood? As he looked back at Günter, a most terrifying face stared back at him. He stared into Koschei's hollow eyes as a frozen smile taunted him. Koschei began to speak to Klaus, though her lips did not move. Her expression was eerily unmoving.

A soft motherly voice reached out from Koschei's face. It had a gentle quality while also possessing a cold harshness. "You should have listened to your brother." She said as her arm protruded from his front. With her hand still protruding from his body and covered in blood, Koschei wagged her finger at Klaus. "While no fighter, he was not entirely useless. You are to blame for his death." As she spoke her hand gestured to Klaus before withdrawing it from Günter's body. Klaus' eyes trembled as rage collected in his expression. He screamed angrily before jabbing at Koschei with his javelin.

Koschei let out a cruel laugh intended to mock the older brother. Koschei's body burst into ash just before the Javelin made contact. The ash swirled before quickly rushing in Nadezhda's direction. Nadezhda giggled and welcomed Koschei's return. The dark, grainy dust swirled around Nadezhda just before it coalesced back into Koschei. Nadezhda patted Koschei on the arm and smiled before her doll once again faded from awareness. 

"She's right, you know." She said to Klaus. "You were always so mean to poor Gunty. He was a scaredy cat, but he was way more perceptive than any of you. Emphasis on you. He's the reason I left. It could have easily been him instead of the woman. I think her luck was just worse on that day or maybe he knew better than to confront me and tipped her off. I guess we'll never know now that they're both dead." Nadezhda insincerely frowned at Klaus as she shrugged, further mocking the Quincy.
