OOC: Training for TTP.
Nadezhda's delicate and innocent laughter seemed to bounce off the trees and she playfully skipped through the densely wooded area. She wrapped her fingers around the trunk of a tree and circled it like a game. She made sure to skip to the beat of her humming, rounding trees with little care for her surroundings. Her soft, high-pitch humming rose in tempo as she circled a vibrantly colored plum blossom tree. As she swung she let her head fall back, her hair scraping the ground.
She reached up and broke a branch from a nearby tree, dragging it along the ground as she skipped. She abruptly swung the branch, flailing it along with her arms as she laughed. Waving it triumphantly like a flag, she skipped to the edge of the forest. She happened upon a large sprawl of land with a particularly expansive body of water. A wide smile draped along her face as she enthusiastically bounced her way toward the body of water. There was a subtle decline from the edge of the woods to the lake, causing Nadezhda to trip and roll down the hill.
She face-planted into the green grass, remaining still for a moment. She abruptly leapt from the ground to her feet, a cheesy grin stretched across her face. She let out a brief chuckle before running crazily toward the water. She stopped suddenly, her feet only inches from touching the water. She lifted her foot and extended her toe. With great precision and steady control, she dipped her toe into the water. She recoiled, covering her mouth instinctively. Muffled laughter broke through her palms as she stared at the water with a wide-eyed expression.
She puckered her lips and adopted a curious expression. She seemed to dance on her toes toward the water's edge before leaping in recklessly. She sank into what felt like icy water. The water settled for a moment, but she did not return to the surface. Like a cautious amphibian, she poked her head from the water, batting her eyes around the field to ensure it was safe to emerge. She then burst from the water loudly, water splashing everywhere. She dug her hands into the dirt, clawing her way out of the water dramatically. Like anchors she kept her fingers in the soil as she looked around playfully.
She released her grip on the soil, sinking back into the water. She rotated int he water like a capsized boat, lying on her back. She stared into the sky as she spit water from her mouth. "There is no one to play with." She muttered. She tapped her fingers against the surface of the water, creating slight ripples. She seemed to be biding her time, hoping someone would arrive to play with her. Maybe a meal would arrive? Who knows. The area was so foreign to her. She only recently escaped the watch of the others, enough so to do some adventuring without them.
