Ludwig
The Abandoned Room (O)
“There it is again.”
Silas slithered about around Ludwig’s neck, shivering almost. His head cocked and turned to Ludwig. Another tell tale, resounding “CAWWWWW” reverberated throughout the house eerily. Asuka himself would grab at his arms, shifting and looking about nervously. Looking at Hibiki, he knew that he wasn’t trying to go anywhere. He sighed, looking on worriedly at Hibiki. Hibi was likely fearful of what the rooms beyond had in store for them. It was understandable. “It’s okay! Aha~!” The teal haired male said stepping away from the kitsune and towards Ludwig with a cheery smile.
“My name is Asuka! Nice ta meetcha n’ greetcha, Ludwig!” He saw Ludwig’s outstretched hand and rather than a handshake, wrapped his arm around the girl and her ferret who scurried to Ludwig’s head so as not to get squished. “Hugs not thugs~!” He chirped joyously before letting go. “Gosh, everyone really changed a ton in this place. I’m about as tall as you are normally!” He laughed, running his fingers through teal locks and pushing them from his line of vision. “I get bein’ lost in my head. I do it all the time!” He exclaimed excitedly. If there was one thing Asuka enjoyed doing it was day dreaming and thinking of all kinds of things. Just staring up and watching the clouds, letting his imagination run wild. He sighed sadly, looking up. There was no sky here though. That was a ceiling. A creepy one with wear and tear and cobwebs galore.
“I really don’t like this place.” He massaged his neck, looking about, thinking something was going to jump them at any given moment. “It gives me the creeps. All these birds and voices and whispers. Everything here feels pretty evil. I think it’s got Amaya down sorta kinda..” He looked to the Kitsune who had a crystal ball in her hands, just staring at it. It was just a normal crystal ball but she’d been unresponsive since acquiring it. He pocketed his hands “Oh! I came first with a guy! It was really interesting rolling over and waking up next to him and all! He looked super strong and tall and stuff. Moved like it too! Aha~!”
Did that mean.. nevermiiiind...
Thinking on it, Asuka figured that since Amaya/Hibi “was down for the count”, Ludwig would have better luck with the stuff he found. Gingerly, Asuka peeled the crystal ball and Angel’s Feather away from Hibi’s hands and handed it over to Ludwig. “I’m gonna hang around here for a bit before I move further. Maybe I’ll take ‘er to the entrance hall back where we woke up. We haven’t found a key but I’ll keep an eye out for ya!” He nodded his heads towards the items, urging him to take it. “We found those though! Maybe it’ll be of some use to you!” He smiled brightly at Ludwig before moving back to the rug and sitting alongside Amaya, trying to console her. There was worry on Asuka’s face but he tried to remain positive. Would Ludwig have any luck in the next room? Gosh.. he hoped so.

Ranth & Rin
The Underground Lake (E) -> The Servant's Quarters (O)
”Careful your majesty, Kaen might get jealous if he heard you saying such things.”
The comment itself was interesting enough that it caused the Empress to momentarily break her concentration and look to her companion, blinking a few times. At the sound of more creaks and bumps in the night, she wouldn’t find the chance to comment. Rather, she would focus. Rin braced herself, ready for some sort of combat. She was ready to knock someone unconscious until he disappeared from their sight. Gone. Vanished. The Empress spun about, shining her flashlight just about everywhere she thought the man could have been. “Yes.” She exhaled, the caution apparent in her voice. “I saw him as well." They were nearly under attack in one moment and fine in the next. It was suspicious. Too good to be true. She didn’t trust anything in this castle.
She’d see Ranth found something and Rin moved closer to him, deciding to be his eyes while he was occupied with something in the gross mud. Moving her light around to see if there was anyone else waiting around. “I’ll keep my eyes open while you investigate.” She half expected whatever it was to be bones. However, Ranth would find a small ornate, wooden box. A box with Jedidiah’s name engraved on the very top. When Ranth would open it, on the inside, was a small note that said “Just in case”. Below it? A shining, silvery revolver, complete with a bag of rounds.
Rin glanced over her shoulder to see the revolver in the box and bent down with a small smile of familiarity. “Have you ever use a gun before, Ranth?” She looked at him questioningly for a moment before looking back to the revolver. The Empress loved to show off so she wouldn't waste a second. She placed her flashlight in her mouth, shining the light on her hands so that he could see what she was going to do. Carefully, she reached for the gun and its rounds. She’d show him how to load it, pull the hammer back and aimed before resetting the hammer. She filled it completely; Six rounds in the barrel with 3 left to spare. Rin would finally hand the revolver and the extra rounds off to Ranth. He should be able to figure out the rest.
“My old Zanpakuto gave me the chance to play with all sorts of weapons~” She said, sighing wistfully before standing and dusting herself off. She’d follow behind Ranth, letting him take the lead. Once he opened the door, the pair would find themselves in a bedroom of sorts. It was basic looking, like it was where the servants of this castle rested. That foreboding feeling was back once more. The same feeling they’d felt in the Catacombs. Ranth alone would suddenly hear the whimpering of something.. Or someone.
“H-Hello..? Someone p… please help..”
The sound of a girl. She was coming from a wardrobe with a broom slid in the handles, effectively locking it from the outside. Ranth would feel himself drawn to it. She was alone. Trapped. He’d feel compelled to pull it out and open the doors, freeing her. Out fell a girl and with her, a crow flew out like a bat out of hell, cawwing yet again. Rin spun, turning to the wardrobe and her eyes widened in complete shock.
“Ranth. Get me out of this house. This. Instant.”
Make a haunt roll.

Luke & Shizuka
The Library (E)
ooc: You both have 50 speed and may move up to 5 spaces in rooms or areas that are already explored. You only go one room at a time when exploring a new room.
Down the slide went the vampire and his girlfri— ah, wait. Whoops. Down the slide went a blonde who was dying to fulfill a certain fantasy in a creepy castle and his poor vampire girlfriend from the top floor down to a room they hadn’t explored yet. In a room that felt a lot better than most of the others. This place was cozy. They could somewhat relax in here. The furnishing of this room was made to relax in and just put your feet up and crack open a good novel or two. This was the Library. It was a well lit and there was a fire blazing already. Though they could see the available doors were open on either side.
Through one of the open doors was a corridor where plenty could be seen from where they were at. Statues. Many pieces were smashed to the ground. Some chunks were red others were white. If they cared to look or explore that room they’d see the room was filled with statues of their heads. Ones of their original faces. One for every person in this house. Shizuka, Luke, Ludwig, Rin.. and more. Luke’s statue in particular was smashed to bits. Not cleanly as it was possible to make out his face but someone passing through here had a good time.. or a bad one.
Someone was definitely here already. Perhaps it was one of their own? In a chair off to the far corner was a pair of skeletons. It was.. unnerving. Creepy. It was a Mother and child, still embracing. A sight that would no doubt warm Shizuka’s heart. On the floor just before the pair, they’d see an open book. It was turned to a page. There was a large image of a key. One with a skull at the head. If they cared to read it further, the book would explain a little more about this castle in detail.
It would tell them about how this castle itself was the source of all the evil going on in this house. How the incredible amounts of evil tailored into the fine details of this house was what brought the strongest of travelers, men & women, down to their knees and crying in total despair and agony. The events of this house varied. What it was dependent on? One of you. The book was confirming everything “Nadezhda” was telling them. The key was their only way out and the key would only be found in a room after the haunt occurs. It was either that or pacifying whatever curse was going to take place soon.
As if on cue, they would hear it. “CAWWWWW” Throughout the entirety of the castle. Someone had discovered another room with one them in it and they were that much closer to “The Haunt”. Based on “Nadezhda’s” count, this would be five. Something or rather, someone, one of their own would be the one that would definitely kill them if they didn’t get the hell out of this place. If they flipped through the book further, the words would slowly disappear from the page. As if someone were taking the words away and replacing it with something..
“Get out.”
Each page after the first few he’d flip would read those same words over and over until the color of the ink turned a familiar crimson color. The color of blood. The book even began to reek of the coppery smell and from the other pages, they would stain red. Where else would they go?
5+ Knowledge to Shizuka & Luke
Wycliff
The Statuary Corridor (E)
At the sound of the old woman on the phone and the slamming of the phone, the chair rattled as if it were afraid and moved towards the door. It bounced up and down over crumbled bits of past broken statues as if to tell Wycliff that it really wanted out of this room. On his way out of the Statuary Corridor, he’d see random name plates. Names of the past. Names of the fallen. His comrades were up to bat now. Would they end up like this. Broken pieces of what once was? Erased with only their faces marred with agony and immense pain as their final stamp on their legacy?
As Wycliff made his way upstairs, the chair eagerly trotted behind him. It did have some trouble. Some wobbling, some tripping. It was like watching a puppy trying to climb stairs and falling repeatedly. However, the sound of crashing from the library was motivation enough. It was loud enough that even Wycliff could hear it as he was only at the Upper Landing at that moment. The poor chair, with fear of death firm in its mind, hopped up each stair and finally made it. It rattled with triumph but the next sound would make it cower, immediately moving behind Wycliff and his mighty axe for safety.
“CAWWWWW”
It would be then Wycliff would take a seat upon his fearful steed and off this mighty duo went! His chair went in circles, clearly indecisive of what room to go in. It would pass doors that we’re open and ones that weren’t. At last, it took Wycliff into a room with desks, and papers and books strewn about. There were even beakers and microscopes. The occasional mysterious stain of who knows what dotted here and there. It was a research laboratory and everything else seemed fairly normal until the blonde would set her eyes on the back of the room.
There laid a closet door. Something about this door would draw Wycliff and the chair to it. So, the chair would bring Wycliff to it, allowing him to open it if he chose to which, he definitely should. Peeking wouldn’t really get him anywhere. It needed to be opened fully. It was just a crack open… Just a crack. There must be something to it. Who knows if there’s something interesting in there!
Roll 2d3{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Roll 2 dice to open the Closet door fully:
