[Ranth]

Ranth's cheeks flushed as the woman who introduced herself as Amaya draped her arm over Ranth's shoulders in what would have been considered a brotherly gesture between two men- which technically they both were- but although Ranth was a girl on the outside, he was very much a man on the inside and the man was not at all accustomed to being in such close proximity with a woman. "U-um, y-yes", Ranth stuttered absently as he found himself being half led, half dragged towards one of the doorways. By the time he realised what was going on, the door had already been opened and they emerged into a brightly lit kitchen that forced Ranth to shield his eyes against the bright neon lights.

"Stop, in the name of the law"

Squinting against the light, Ranth's eyes adjusted to the new lightning and he found himself looking at a fairly tall man with teal coloured hair that for a moment made him think of someone else he knew. At the same time, the stranger spotted them as well and whilst his eyes swept over both of them but focused mostly on Amaya before calling out to her by name and somewhere in the back of his mind, that struck Ranth as odd. If Amaya had been body swapped, then how would anyone recognise her in this form? Ultimately it was a half formed thought that was quickly swept aside by the revelation that the man wasn't a stranger at all, but rather Asuka of all people!

Before Ranth could open his mouth to speak, Asuka all but dived across the kitchen in a fashion that would have been somewhere between adorable and sexy in her regular body, but instead it just looked ungainly- like a puppy that hadn't grown into its paws yet- and Asuka took Amaya down to the ground like a Pro footballer thanks to the significantly increased bulk of her male form. As for Ranth, he'd been standing just far enough to the side of Amaya so that he wasn't floored, but he was sent stumbling and fell on his ass as even the glancing contact was unexpectedly powerful thanks to the inverse effect- his new body lacked the muscle that his usual form possessed and he was considerably lighter as a result.

Wincing as he felt what he was almost certain would turn out to be a bruised butt, Ranth looked up to find Asuka standing above him with her- er, his?- hand extended out to him, which Ranth gratefully reached up to take. Somehow, even though he now knew it was Asuka and that Asuka was a girl, he didn't feel as awwkard about taking the hand of this male version of her and once he was back on his feet, he drew in a deep breath before revealing his identity to her. "Hello Asuka, it's me... Ranth", he said with an embarrassed smile. "We woke up in the room we just came from, there are six of us and we split up in order to try and find a way out", he explained and even as he spoke of there being other people here, he looked off to the side and spotted Luke and Shizuka standing in the room beyond. "Oh, there's two of them over there now", he remarked.

Suddenly, a shrill caw pierced their ears as a raven burst out from one of the cupboard and before he knew what was going on, there was an even more raucous commotion as Asuka wrestled amidst a cloud of feathers for a moment before the raven vanished and Asuka was left holding a book, which she held out for one of them to take. As an avid reader, Ranth found himself reaching out to accept the book without even thinking about it and the moment it entered his hands, he felt as though something had changed within him, but he wasn't sure what. Flicking through the pages, he found that the book was incredibly old and written in a language that even he didn't recognise, which was a remarkable occurrence in and of itself.

"Come on, we'll introduce you to the others and see if we can't find some clues about this place", Ranth said- somehow feeling that this would be the wisest course of action as he tucked the book under his arm and led the way out of the kitchen and into the adjoining ballroom. The book that he now held granting him with just a little more decisiveness than he would otherwise possess. Such was the benefit of wisdom. Upon making introductions and checking in to see if Luke and Shizuka had found anything and showing them the book filled with nothing but gibberish, it came time to choose a door once again. To the left (from Ranth's groups perspective), there was a door and on the opposite side of the room to where they'd come from, there was another door whilst to the right led back to the foyer.

"Let's go this way", Ranth would eventually say and point towards the door that lay on the opposite side of the room to where they had entered (to the right from Shizuka and Luke's perspective).

While she had been happy to explore this place all alone, she was glad that Ludwig did decide to join her in this room. Hearing her captain pipe up about the whole situation was a bit relaxing, however she wasn't that worried. “Yea, I've been in worse scrapes before, but I ain't worried ya know.” Wycliff kept a smile across her face knowing that if she started to freak out it wouldn't solve anything. She was really go with the flow type of person, but it wasn't as if she wasn't freaked out about the whole situation, she just knew that freaking out would have added to just the chaos of the situation, something she really didn't want to do. Wycliff wanted to get out of this place as soon as possible.



Entering in the room he felt that the ground underneath his feet felt different. It wasn't the sturdy and strong hardwood that he had been stepping on in the room before, no under him was something soft, yet had firm patches. Moving the flashlight around he saw that the ground was now stone and grass. With the light provided from his flashlight he could see that they were in what looked like a garden, one that was outside. They were out of the house at least,but as strangs of hair went over his sight he could tell that he was still a woman. “So this isn't bound to just the house huh.” As he muttered that his light went over the creepy looking pikachu doll.



With a simple blink he felt something rush against his body, with luck he was able to push it back and as his eyes opened he saw that the little doll had ran up and was attacking him. Without even thinking he kicked that doll right in the face punting it high up into the air and away from him, possibly over the walls of this room. “Fucken cheap ass weeping angel rip off!” Wycliff screamed out into the dakrness, that damn thing had attacked just like those weeping angels from Dr. Who, you know the ones that attack when you're not looking. Turning back to Ludwig his light shined on something that made his heart sink. “Oh fuck......”



Behind Ludwig Wycliff saw statues.... tons of statues, it was at that moment that she remembered that there were statues in this garden as they entered. “Ludwig, don't blink..... just keep the statues in sight and don't blink.” Wycliff took a step backwards, she felt her foot hit something against the ground. Kneeling down he kept his eyes on the statues behind them using her hand to feel around for what she had bumped against. There on the ground was a brick, grabbing it Wycliff stood back up holding onto it. “We have to get out of here, I'll explain later, just don't lose sight of the statues. Wycliff locked the arm that was holding the flashlight with one of Ludwig's arms and continued to walk backwards deeper into the garden and towards the other door. The brick was just so she could bash whatever came close to him.  She hoped that Ludwig would be able to guide them to the other door and out of this place.1-3·1-3·1-3·1-3·1-3

Despite the ever constant electrical agony in his new chest, Luke was trying his best to remain focused and calm. Exploring the mansion was, no doubt, going to yield some answers to their predicament. Grabbing a flashlight, Luke had decided on which door he was going to take. He had been hoping Shizuka would come with him, as he had no idea who any of these other people were and didn’t trust a single one of them as far as he could throw them. Any one of them could have actually been involved in this. Jäger, however, seemed to be puring in delight everytime Luke’s vision crossed over the one named Amaya. Luke, however, didn’t care. But as Luke grabbed his flashlight, the curse of his tits struck again.

When Shizuka suddenly came behind him and grabbed his new funbags. Luke nearly fucking squeaked. As if someone put a taser to his nipples an electrifying sensation shot through his body, causing his knees to go weak and his brain to be filled with fuck. Despite how agonizing it was...it just felt so good. ”Sh-Shizuka..” Luke murmured, his face having turned tomato red, unable to say the words “Stop”. What’s worse, Luke’s lower waist had suddenly grown very hot. Really, really, hot. Didn’t take Luke very long to figure out what was going on. No, no, no. Not like this. This wasn’t going to happen.

Shizuka whispering in his ear didn’t help matters either. It didn’t seem to matter to Luke’s new body that he was rightfully a man. ”Say it.” that asshole Doll suddenly said, seeing an opportunity. No! ”S A Y it. You know you want to.” Jäger teased again. ”Can you stop? Finally, the door was before them. Finally, after Luke had calmed down, they were going into that room. Pushing the door open and stepping inside, the Bount was actually rather surprised to see what they had found behind the door. He had expected a dining room, a lounge, or god forbid a bedroom. Truth be told...if he and Shizuka found a bedroom he wasn’t sure he’d be able to hold off his new dick controlled girlfriend for long. But instead what the couple walked into was a ballroom. That was unexpected. ”A shame we’re not here under more normal circumstances. I’m sure you’d enjoy seeing Shizuka in a dress and dancing with her.” Windstarke commented, leaving Luke to wonder if that was true and something she’d be up for.

Aiming the beams of light across the floor and walls, Luke’s beam traveled around as he stepped further into the ballroom. ”I have an idea. Why don’t you let me out?” ”So you can sexually harass me and everyone else? You must think I’m an idiot.” ”Well you are...but no. Just with how African dark it is in here I shouldn’t have any problem moving around.” It was true that Jäger was a fantastic scout in the dark, as well as a potential assassin if Luke ever chose to him as such. But, thankfully, letting Jäger out was impossible right now due to the fact that Luke had barely any reiatsu for some reason.

Exploring further into the ballroom, Luke suddenly became aware that something wasn’t right. His light had illuminated something in the room for a moment. When he focused his light back onto it, he saw a pair of kids just sitting there in the middle of the room. He immediately frowned. ”Shizuka..” Luke would say quietly, trying to get his/her attention on the same thing he was looking at. The Bounts eyes would widen with shock as he watched what happened. One child suddenly sprang onto the other one and began to mercilessly beat his brother to death. But then both suddenly stopped and turned to look at the two guests, smile, then vanish.

”...can we just leave? Can we leave, please?” Windstarke asked. Ah, that was right, Windstarke didn’t do good with scary shit. A crow would suddenly caw, but it didn’t seem to be coming from this room. The sound drew Luke’s attention, prompting him to look, and when he turned his head he saw two of the women from the lobby with...another man? Luke frowned a little, noticing that they were heading their way. Well, seems the white haired girl was actually concerned with them and wanted to see how they were holding up. Luke shared with them what they had seen, and was a bit confused at the book Ranth had.

Looking at Shizuka and just shrug. ”Which way you want to go?” he asked, since he picked last time.

Luke's reaction was too cute for words. It made Shizuka want to keep going, but he knew that wasn't a good idea. Luke wasn't going to know how to handle being wet and Shizuka didn't understand how to make the hardness he felt go down. What did guys used to think of to make this go away? Dead things? That might work. Shizuka tried her best to imagine things getting killed and how gruesome it could be. He pictured what it would be like to watch someone be torn apart right in front of his eyes. He thought about their organs being separated between the two halves of the body and how bloody the whole scene would be. As he looked down, hopeful, he noticed that it still wasn't gone. He rolled his eyes. He had seen worse.

Shizuka pressed onward with his now effeminate boyfriend. Or, rather, girlfriend. He kind of liked the thought of that. Normally, he only really paid attention to extraordinarily attractive women. Girl crushes, you could say. But this was somehow different. Luke had become female, yet Shizuka's now-male mind changed the way he thought about the entire situation. Luke's feminine body was attractive to him. He couldn't look away. He didn't want to. All he could think about was stripping her down, bending her over, and making her his. He enjoyed that kind of thought, too. Is this what it was like to be a man? Was this how their brains worked?

No matter. Soon enough, they made it to the room. It wasn't well lit and that made Shizuka nervous, but it wasn't anything he hadn't dealt with before. Perhaps it was his training as an assassin, or maybe the fact that he was an indestructible boy now, but he wasn't too entirely worried about the room. Nothing about it was any creepier than what he'd seen in horror movies, and even those didn't tend to bother him too much. Honestly, it was kind of beautiful in its own way. He admired it for whatever reason. That, and when he looked at Luke, all he could think about was kissing her pretty face. He needed to get his mind out of the gutter and focus.

Thankfully, Luke got his attention. Shizuka watched as the two boys bickered and eventually disappeared with entirely-too-creepy smiles on their faces. That was enough to make Shizuka clench almost every muscle in his now masculine body. The typical ghost he was used to was a soul from a dead body. Well, that or a Shinigami. They were normal. These two children were not normal. It wasn't like any child ever was, but these two really broke the bank on that one. A shiver was sent up Shizuka's spine as the invisible crow cawed, so he reached to hold Luke's hand reflexively. There were some habits that couldn't be broken even if he was a guy.

"Let's go to to this door on the right. I can feel myself going crazy here. But speaking of crazy..." Shizuka grabbed Luke behind the back, slithered his hand up towards the back of her head, laced his fingers between her hair, and kissed her. After a brief moment, he pulled away and smiled. "It may not be the most ideal place, but I wanted to know what it was like to kiss you with my body like this before we turn back to normal. As fate would have it, I enjoyed that."

[Kamikawa Hibiki]

What the what? There were so many thoughts swimming through Hibiki’s head at that moment that it had given him an instantaneous migraine. He had been able to rationalize away his own change back into the true form of his body. That had been easy. The others… he had mostly tried to avoid thinking about that honestly. He didn’t really know any of them. He knew of some of them, but he didn’t know them. This was different. This was something that hurt his brain immensely. Asuka was someone he knew about as closely as Hibiki ever got to know anyone. Given that he had just been pounced on by a very non-female Asuka, his brain was forced to actually acknowledge what had happened around him.

And that had broken him for a moment. He had used the name Amaya because that’s the body he had, but he hadn’t expected this complication. Asuka was, to his knowledge, one of the only people alive outside of Soul Society that het met Amaya. Meeting anyone that previously knew Amaya was enough to through a wrinkle in his plans, but Asuka was the worst possible person to see right now. Given their recent intimacy, and his feelings for her, he simply couldn’t come up with what he was supposed to do. Weakly, from beneath her, he spoke.

”NoYeee, it’sit’s meme, HiAmbiaykia.”


What. WHAT. W H A T

His mouth had used two different voices at once. He had spoke two sentences at the same time. That was weird, but he knew that voice. It was Amaya. After, what had it been now, a few months of silence, she was back? How? Was it this space? Was it his body? Was it the weakening of his power? Was he going to crumble away to nothingness like he feared she had? He didn’t know for sure what had caused that just now, but he knew one thing for sure. He was afraid. Every ounce of his instincts screamed out that this wasn’t a good thing to him.

For a few moments he just laid there scared and confused. He thought he had been in control, but Asuka, even in this shocking attractive male body, had somehow managed to drag Amaya out of the depths of Hibiki’s soul. For quite some time, he just kinda laid there on the floor, trying to figure out what had happened. He missed most of what had happened around him for quite some time, and could only muster up the brainpower to try and speak once more from his position on the floor.

The first room on the left - The Kitchen (O)

Poor Asuka was thrown for a loop. First his spirits had been up at seeing, “Ranthy! Wow! Is that really you!?”.. To, “Amaya..?” First he heard No but then Yes. The ‘it’s me’ bit was clear but the name? Asuka moved closer to Amaya and pocketed his hands and titled his head. There were two different voices talking at the same time. That didn’t make any sense and neither was what they were saying. “W-Whazzat? I didn’t catch yer name there! It sounds like someone’s talking over you.” Good gravy this sure was confusin’! Asuka turned around to see if there was anyone else with them in the kitchen but Ranthy had already left and they were all out of gravy.

Asuka watched Amaya just lay down and he would sit beside the foxy female, poking at her ears and pulling on them just as he’d done many times before. Amaya would continue to speak but Asuka would only be able to catch a fraction of it. “What.. am… I .. doing.. here..?” He tried to speak aloud to make sense of what she was saying. “Uhm.. I woke up here! I was shopping for stuff to make chocolate cake. I left the grocery store and somehow I woke up here! Like this! Aha~!” He pointed to himself proudly though, admittedly, Asuka didn’t know about being a guy. "A really special person taught me how to make it! Man! I was so excited!" Wasn’t used to it. Sure he’d done it once for training with Amare but that was a one time thing and this felt a little more permanent than that.

“Why.. am.. I.. still.. guy…beautinow.. Asuka?”

Asuka shook his head and sighed. Her head hurt? Asuka’s head hurt trying to translate. He’d ruffle Amaya’s hair and smile, constantly trying his best to cheer her up. “Take your time. I know this place is creepy. When you’re ready, let’s explore together. We can catch up while we try to find a way out of this place. I’ll go wherever you go~ Aha!”

The Conservatory (E) -> The Organ Room (E)
Ranth

What had Ranth been up to in the brief moments he’d been alone in the Conservatory?

Upon entering the room, Ranth would quickly notice one very loose brick with a faint orange glow at the bottom of the fountain. If he pulled it apart, he’d see a hidden compartment containing a syringe, glowing bright and a small piece of paper that would read: “this will help. good luck.”. The liquid was a fluorescent orange and there wasn’t very much of it in the syringe. Like there was only enough for a one time use. He wouldn’t get the sense that there was anything heinous about this liquid. Maybe someone hid this there for a rainy day?

“Come here, Ranth.”

Just as soon as he’d get ahold of the syringe, Ranth would hear voices in his head. At first they were whispers that… knew his name? “Come here.” It wasn’t coming from anyone else. He’d soon see Luke & Shizuka enter the Conservatory but they wouldn’t be afflicted with anything like that. They would hear no whispers. They would just see Ranth and a normal Conservatory. No more secrets to this room. Just Ranth alone would hear the words, “Come!” It would get louder as he’d leave the conservatory and exit into the Ballroom and then he’d turn right, into a room that wasn’t explored yet, leaving Luke & Shizuka alone as soon as they walked in.

Two steps into the new room, Ranth would be sent on a one way trip to the basement. Someone wasn’t watching where they’d been walking! The hole he'd walk in would close up immediately and there would be nothing but solid floor. He’d fall from the ground floor and crash into something that wasn’t quite soft but it would be a lot better than landing on the cold hard ground. If Ranth looked around, he’d notice beside him that there was an enormous organ with two lit candles and on the other side, there were rows and rows of benches with music sheets strewn about. "Fool! Hahahahah~!" The whispers would turn into mischievous laughter for a few second before subsiding. Though, that wouldn’t be the only thing he’d hear. He would hear the groaning and snarling of one very angry man, sprawled out underneath him.

“Ow!! Honestly! An Empress is not a mattress! I’m not here for you to just jump or lie on! Ne~!”

Weakly, the man would attempt to sit up, though it was clear he was in pain. “First this ugly house and my zanpakuto is gone and now…” He’d looked down at himself and stare at his chest. “W-Where are they..?” He’d start to pat himself down and look at himself, grabbing at his clothes and looking around. “There’s no way this is real. I’m not a man! I’m not a man! I thought this was just a silly dream!” he spoke in panicked tones, pulling at his kimono. “I’m an Empress! Not an Emperor..” Orange eyes turned to look at the one who dared to come falling through the ceiling and inspected the female for a moment. His entire body would relax as he just looked plain confused.

“You’ll have to excuse me, darling. It seems I’ve fallen quite hard and passed out here for sometime. My name is Rin Minamimoto.” He gestured to himself with pride and a welcoming smile. He pushed his hair out of his eyes and somewhat leaned closer as if to get a better look. “You look awfully fami— Wh-What..“ He gasped with fear, cringing back. His eyes moved behind Ranth and widened in horror before grabbing him by the collar and yanking him further away and towards the bench of the organ before pointing.

It was a ghastly couple, strolling along in their wedding best down the aisle and they were heading straight for them.

Luke & Shizuka
The second room on the left - The Conservatory (E)

Those who entered the Conservatory would notice immediately how dark it was. There wasn’t very much light in this “room” aside from what little light came from the outside. It wasn’t a closed off room. It was rather spacious with an enormous window overlooking the outside of the castle and if they cared to look outside, they’d notice a sea of trees stripped of their leaves with heavy fog rolling on the ground as far as the eye could see. It was ominous. It was almost as if they were in a castle in the middle of nowhere and salvation was nowhere near this group of heroes.

In this room, there was a dried up fountain in the very middle of this room and the floor was cracked. Like if someone took a giant hammer to it and the damage spidered throughout the room. In between it was moss and patches of grass with potted plants and ivy adorning the walls. You could imagine that if it were day, this room would light up like Christmas Day.

Luke & Shizuka would get to this room a little later after Ranth did and as soon as they entered, they’d see Ranth leave the Conservatory in a normal fashion and the loving pair would be left alone to explore this room. Though, there was nothing here. It was a perfectly normal room until they turned around.

If the pair turned around they’d see a little girl sitting atop of a bike, riding towards them and stopping just next to Luke. He would recognize her. He knew her. He knew THIS girl. She was creepy. Extremely creepy and she was eating a sandwich. She wore a smile that was eerie. Ominous. It was meant exclusively for Luke & Shizuka. They'd hear the sounds of the wheels of her bike echoing throughout the empty Conservatory and the sound of her ripping into a sandwich that would never be anywhere near done. She kept making bites here and there but there was no apparent change to the sandwich. She stared up at Luke innocently and tugged on his clothes. “Dad?” She grabbed his hand and held it tight. “Hi Dad!” she giggled loudly as she peddled closer to him, sandwich in one hand and Luke’s hand in the other. She didn't say anything for a while, swinging it back and forth, letting out a creepy snicker every now and then before holding up the sandwich. "Want some?" She wasn’t going anywhere and if they tried to run, she'd keep up no problem, peddling along.

Luke, Shizuka and that very familiar little girl could probably explore the other room on the ground floor no one went through or go through the Ballroom and explore the other room they didn't go through.

[Ranth]

Ranth examined the glowing vial with mixture of trepidation and curiosity. If it wasn't for the hastily scrawled note that had been wrapped around it, he may have just put it back where he found it and run the other way as quickly as he could. But something told him that it couldn't hurt to hold onto this mysterious vial in case it came in use later- though he had no earthly idea what that use could be. Slipping the vial into the inner pocket of his robes, Ranth was about to begin a more thorough examination of the room for clues or anything of that ilk when the whispers started.

They were quiet at first, barely audible over the whispers that had been there since he'd first woken up and- to his surprise- he had already become accustomed to. But there were different, for as they grew in volume they also grew in persuasiveness. How could he refuse their guidance? In a daze, Ranth passed the others as they entered the room- apparently deciding to check the same room that he'd entered instead of one of the unexplored rooms. Amaya and Asuka were still chatting merrily in the kitchen- though there were three voices now instead of two. Gosh this mansion was getting crowdeeeeeeeeeeee- thump.

While he'd been thinking about the voices, he'd wandered into one of the unexplored rooms and the ground immediately caved away beneath him. The sudden terrifying sensation of falling snapped him out of the dazed trance that had claimed him and he landed heavily on his bony backside with a girlish squeak. In the darkness, two flickering candles cast a dim light over the room and allowed him to vaguely make out the form of the disgruntled person who had inadvertently broken his fall. The string of curses came from an unfamiliar, masculine tongue but the words themselves- the content- were so familiar that Ranth's jaw dropped in astonishment as- using his newly empowered knowledge- he put two and two together based on this man's manner of speaking and Ranth's first hand knowledge that everyone in this place had been body swapped. Not that it mattered when he/she came right out and confirmed his hypothesis on the spot- and in doing so robbing him of the satisfaction of demonstrating his knowledge. First he'd stumbled across Asuka, but now Rin as well? What were the chances? Who would he run into next? His long lost twin brothers?

"Your ma-", he started to say before his companion's eyes widened and he pointed over Ranth's shoulder with a quivering finger and Ranth turned instinctively to see two ghostly figures strolling through the air, both dressed in wedding apparel and they were coming straight towards them. Ranth's first instinct was to flee, but he felt a warmth behind his eyes as knowledge from the book he still held under one arm was conveyed directly into his mind. Jedediah and Mandy on the day of their wedding. They once lived here in this mansion and were buried in the cemetery after leading long and happy lives. Their spirits linger to this day to provide guidance to any travelers who are unlucky enough to set foot inside the mansion, but are brave enough not to run away at first sight of them".

Swallowing his fear and trusting to the voice in his head, Ranth placed one reassuring hand on Rin's shoulder as he turned towards the ghostly bride and groom and drew in a deep breath. "Jedediah? Mandy? Can you help us to get out of here?" He didn't know if he meant out of the basement or out of the house altogether- or both- but he hoped that if he left it vague then maybe that would yield the best results. "It's okay your majesty, I don't think they mean us any harm. There are other people here as well, we split up to explore the mansion and look for a way out", he explained with a gentle smile. Even though he was the one reassuring her, Ranth was the one who felt the most reassured by Rin's presence.

It happened right after Luke had given the choice of where to go next to Shizuka. Before he knew it he felt a series of fingers sliding through his hair and across the back of his head, and before he could even ask what she was doing he felt a pair of lips slam right into his. Granted, while it only lasted a few seconds it felt like minutes for the turned girl boyfriend. His eyes widened with shock and surprise for a moment, just a moment, before his entire brain BSoD’d. He wasn’t sure if it was his lips that had become soft or if Shizuka’s retained their softness, but in no way shape or form could Luke deny that he didn’t like this. Kissing a guy wasn’t something he wanted to do, but with his new body being what it was he couldn’t deny that his body had become practically electrified. His face felt like it was burning, and had turned a deep, dark, red color from the blush.

When Shizuka pulled away and offered her explanation, Luke just stood there blushing like madman-woman. He didn’t look at Shizuka, staring down at his feet, and fiddling his thumbs together in raw embarrassment. He was trying not to cry. What was wrong with him? He wasn’t like this normally. Sure, Luke always had a bit of new-to-this-game shyness when he and Shizuka did things like this but it was never this bad. Hell, he’d been stepping his game up lately too now that he had grown some balls when it came to flirting. But it seemed without a pair of balls he had not only regressed back to a blubbering virgin state, but had descended even further beyond that.

We need to get our bodies back...before it’s too late. Luke said to himself as he followed behind Shizuka. ”Why? Aren’t you enjoying this?” Jäger asked, barely able to control his snickering. No! I’m afraid that if we don’t fix this soon then Shizuka is going to want to know what everything feels like as a guy...and I mean everything. Luke confessed, in horror, as the horror of his first time with her being in these bodies came to mind. They needed to GET OUT before Shizuka lost complete control over her libido and went looking for the nearest warm, and wet, hole.

Following Shizuka into the Conservatory, Luke was beginning to wonder just how big this fucking place could actually be. ”Certainly seems someone was rather frugal with their money when it came to designing this place.” Windstarke commented as they took in the sights of the room. ”Watch out for trap doors that open up to holes with spikes at the bottom. Don’t need to hear the satisfying sound of Luke’s impalement. At least...not that sort of impalement, hehehe.” Jäger earned himself a groan from Luke and Windstarke. Wait, they really were in a castle. What the fuck? There wasn’t any castles around or even near Karakura Town. What the fuck?? Where were they?

The chick they were following was gone. Okay, whatever. He, she, it didn’t want to stick together with them it was fine. It wasn’t like Luke wanted someone around to help peel Shizuka off him when she got too bad. If she got too bad. Investigating the room didn’t yield anything of note, at least until the two turned around. When Luke turned to shine his light around more, he would suddenly see the tricycle heading his way. Luke paused, frozen, when he looked at who it was riding the tricycle. ”Okay...what…”

”What the flipping fuck is she doing here?”

”Nadezhda?” Luke asked before she would refer to him as “Dad”. ”Eh?” Luke squeaked. Dad? Who? Him? Was she calling him dad? Nadezhda clutched his hand, giggling to herself, and offered him her sandwhich. ”No...no but...Nadezhda what are you doing here? How did...how did you get here? Also why are you calling me Dad? Where is Vesta?” Luke fired at her, though Windstarke also had something to say. ”How did she know you were you?” That was...a good question.

Regardless, Luke offered a confused and weirded out look to Shizuka. It didn’t seem, aside from Nadezhda, that there was anything else of note in the room. ”Come on...Shizuka. Everyone else seems to be checking out the ground floor.” He said, deciding now that he and her should go back to the Hall they started at and head upstairs. Luke hadn’t heard anyone shout yet...so he figured that meant nobody had found anything. ”Lets head back to the entrance hall and go upstairs. We might have better luck finding something up there.” Luke suggested, taking the lead in heading back. ”Yeah, like a bedroom.” Shut. Up! ”Your underwear is soaked right now and you know it. Won’t be long till Shizuka catches the scent, huehehehehehehe.”

[Shizuka Sanamizu ✮]

Shizuka thought all the blushing Luke had been doing was cute until he noticed that she was holding back tears. He frowned with worry and glanced down to the side. He didn't want to hurt Luke, and that would always be his last thought, but he also hated the fact that he basically already had. All he wanted to do was kiss his girlfriend. Er, boyfriend. Oh, no. Either way, that was it. Shizuka wasn't in it to embarrass her or make her feel uncomfortable. That red face said it all. The Fullbringer was treating his significant other horribly this entire time. Was it going to stop him? For now. But like any man, he was going to try again in about five minutes.

In this moment, he decided just to gently take Luke's hand. It wasn't hugging, but it would do. Shizuka was nervous that hugging would send Luke into a panic, so he assumed it would be best to keep things PG. Having to resist his hormones was going to be enough of a challenge, but seeing Luke's face the way it was happened to be enough to calm him down. He didn't know how long it would last, but it was a start. Besides, they needed to move on. Being in this building was a huge concern because creepy things kept popping up. With no end in sight, Shizuka sighed. How were they supposed to escape?

The conservatory was fairly dark. Strange decorations adorned the walls and a useless fountain sat in the center. The entire place seemed to be in disarray, as well. Cracked floors meant a bad subterranean system which allowed for deformation. So the floor had the potential to break at any moment with the two standing on top of it. Shizuka and Luke both didn't have enough going on for them to adequately defend against such a disaster, so being careful would have to suffice. They couldn't risk damaging anything further. It would likely result in something rather unfavorable.

Some stranger ended up leaving the room as they entered. Shizuka recognized her from when everyone was together at the beginning, but he made no note of it. If this girl wasn't with their group, she was probably just exploring everything in the same way as they were. He didn't want to bother her any more than he really needed to. Not only that, but upon further investigation, the Fullbringer noticed a little girl standing behind the pair. She was definitely very young, perhaps twelve? Maybe thirteen? Either way, she wasn't anything more than a kid. A creepy one. Shizuka sneered noticeably at the child.

She referred to Luke has her dad. First of all, Luke was a girl. Second, they had talked about this. Both Shizuka and the Bount were infertile. The comments made him pause for a moment before slowly turning his face to his now-girlfriend. The expression was that of anger and betrayal, though his face was somewhat overshadowed by darkness as his wide eyes and frowning mouth were practically all that were visible. It was threatening and had a good chance of freaking Luke out, though she would possibly know why. Shizuka didn't even want to think of the possibility of Luke having something terrible like a child.

But, Luke was right. They needed to keep going. He reluctantly followed his girlfriend back to where they started so they could make their way upstairs. Before they left, though, Shizuka gave this Nadezhda a look. This look could only be described as one of the most disgusted expressions he could come up with. Shizuka did not like kids. He didn't even want to think about them. This child was a nuisance and all he wanted was to destroy her, but he had a thought for a moment that she was also nothing more than an apparition. She may not be real. Everything in this castle may not be real.

"We need to get away from that thing before I murder it."

As Ludwig and Wycliff made their way out to Ludwig could honestly say he was pretty satisfied with where they ended up. He had, just a small worry, that Wycliff would take them to some dungeon or something on that level of “We’re fucked.” But instead they’d managed to go to a garden. A rather nice one at that. Clearly whoever had this house, scratch that castle, as while looking around Ludwig noticed the distinct difference in the building they were now outside of. Regardless whoever owned this place clearly had at least some level of care for this area as the number of various plants, sculptures and even a working fountain. Ludwig would need to remember this for his garden at the barracks. Honestly Ludwig was so enthralled that he almost didn’t notice what had attacked Wycliff. Had it not been for Wycliff screaming out in rage before punting the thing into oblivion he’d have never noticed that his companion had been attacked. Note to self Ludwig don’t let your guard down. Wycliff may be leading us through this place but your still in charge of him. What happens to him is your responsibility. Not to mention we need to take this nice and slow. We can’t be making any fuck ups lest something else like a man eating plant for example pop up.

When Wycliff finally turned around before Ludwig could even ask if he’d been injured Wycliff all but paled to a sheet. Ludwig tried to look behind him to see what had his subordinate so spooked but promptly found himself hooked via his arm to Wycliff who had no intention of letting him go backwards. Instead all he’d mentioned was continuing forward and avoiding the statues. In a small part of Ludwig’s mind he was actually kinda sad he didn’t have a chance to at least pick a flower or two. For some reason he had an inherent want to make a flower crown. With a quick nod towards Wycliff and a newly focused goal of finding the door or some exit to the garden that didn’t involve going backwards he promptly let the want fade.

Turning his flashlight on he took a quick look around the area as he tried to see what all was around them exactly. Especially given he couldn’t actually tell where the murderous doll Wycliff had punted had landed at. Which brought another good point forward. What if there were more? That must have been what Wycliff meant with the statues. Good on him for thinking that far ahead and not being distracted by the flowers. Seriously what was with him and wanting to mess with the flowers so much? Another shake of his head and he walked with Wycliff towards the other side of the chair the doll had been on. Really there wasn’t another way save for the way they entered and Wycliff wasn’t having any of that so all he could do was shine his flashlight around and hope that he’d find the exit sooner than later. “When you have a moment Wycliff let me know if you got injured at all. I didn’t see what all the little doll(?) did to you but I want to make sure it didn’t do any significant harm. Let alone if it was laced with something. Also if you see anything move let me know, or if you see a door I'm struggling to see any other door."

((I have no clue which room is what, so until a map exists, I’m just going with a random unexplored room of DM’s choice. Let me know if I need to roll anything.))

And as quickly as that sensation had started, it had faded. That was painful. So very painful, in so many ways. It had hurt Hibiki’s head, because there were two voices that tried to talk at once in it. It hurt even more because of what voice that was. That wasn’t the magic of the house. That was Amaya. Her consciousness had reemerged for a few moments in the presence of Asuka, but it seemed that it had faded away once again. Now there was a bigger question. How was he supposed to explain this to Asuka? There was a chance that this would be even more painful than the revelation that Amaya had come back for a moment.

As was often the case, he decided that the truth was probably the best. Maybe not the whole truth, but at least as much of it as he needed to for right now. ”It’s a long story… but no. It’s Hibiki, not Amaya.” He stood up, and smiled at Asuka, before he made sure that Ranth was out of earshot. ”To make that long story really short, there were some unintended consequences from an experiment a long time ago, and I’m the personality in charge of this body. The form you know was what my body originally looked like, and that appearance was the result of some healing spells. As for this…” she gestured down at her current body, ”This is what this body originally was.”

Hopefully Asuka would still feel the same way, as he could really use some support at a time like this. The house had messed with most people a little bit, but the reappearance of Amaya had visibly shaken Hibiki. That was something that, as far as he was aware, was impossible. He wasn’t sure what to feel. Should he be grateful that his daughter had a chance to come back? Yes, he should be. But he wasn’t. He was terrified. He had become accustomed to having a body again. He had found a place in the world. He had found love. He wasn’t willing to give that up and go back to being a spirit on the inside of someone else’s body.

God he hated himself for feeling that way.

”I promise I’ll give you the full story if we can find a way out of here, but for now let’s focus on the escape.” With that said, Hibiki wandered off, hopefully with Asuka in tow, towards a random unexplored room in the house.

Hibiki & Asuka
The Abandoned Room (O)

At the first mention of Hibiki, Asuka stared at the fox girl confused for a moment. Amaya was Hibiki? The confusion wouldn’t stop her though. Instead, Asuka reached out to the fox, hugging her warmly, laughing joyously as her favorite T.V doctor star was apparently here!! “Hibiki how’d end up here? Aha~! This place is super creepy.” She didn’t quite let go and let her arms around the fox linger for a while as she explained her extremely peculiar predicament.

The poor teal haired male struggled immensely to understand. “E-Experiment..?” was a word that stood out to her and she looked as distressed as ever as Hibiki tried to give her the ‘too long; didn’t read’. Yeah that wasn’t gonna cut it here. “Wait wait wait… what?” Amay— Er.. Hibiki was explaining that this was what their body looked like and.. well.. DUH. Asuka smiled and pointed to herself er.. himself! “Yeah! Aha! This is my body too!” She placed both hands on her chest smoothing her clothes out only to look down and notice that something was missing. Physically and maybe mentally too.

“Oh yeah.. They’re gone..” She mentioned sadly, patting a well defined chest. It would seem Asuka didn’t entirely understand the first part of what Hibiki said… or most of it. Though, she could easily see how distraught Hibiki was and her expression would fall into one of concern as she looked at Amaya inhabitant. Was that what it was!? “I’m gonna need you to explain this to me when we’re not so uh.. Ehehe..” She gestured to the rest of the house and the two would hear the same familiar cawwing coming from across the hall and Asuka visibly cringed at the sound, looking down the hallway before looking back at Hibiki. “So trapped in this yucky place.” She took Hibiki’s hand, squeezing it gently before leading her along, wandering about the house. “Let’s find a way to leave this place and then we could make chocolate cake and you can explain everything to me, okay?” She smiled warmly, leading Hibiki away to explore the rest of this ground floor.

Eventually this pair would find themselves in a room that was almost entirely empty. There was a large rug covering the middle of the room and some small floorboards were missing but nothing major. Sitting in the very middle of the room was a crystal ball and their favorite animal sitting on top of it. “CAWW CAWW” It screeched as it flew past Hibiki just barely over her head. “Get out of here you dumb bird! That’s not nice!!” Asuka yelled at the crow that was now long gone.

She walked over to pick up the Crystal Ball and handed it over to Hibiki. “I dunno what this is but it’s shiny and pretty and you should have it, aha~!” Hibiki could feel a weird energy rolling off the object and if he looked into the crystal ball, who knows what he’d see in there!

The Organ Room (E)

Rin’s eyes narrowed in a mixture of fear and skepticism as the female began to speak. Fear of the apparitions in this strange castle, and the other..? This girl reminded the Empress.. er.. Emperor so much of someone. If she was a male in this house, was it the same for her white haired companion? Every muscle in her body was screaming at her to run and to bring his new friend with him to safety. Before she could dwell on it further, she felt the girl’s hand on her shoulder and looked between it and its owner in bewilderment. She wasn’t leaving? It seemed as much. Such confidence this one had! She even called out names? Was it theirs? She couldn’t help but feel the tension from her body leave somewhat, nodding. Rin allowed their hand to linger on her shoulder as she looked on at the ghostly bride and groom.

“Oh! Look Jed honey~! He knows our names!” The female ghost bride pointed at Ranth and squealed excitedly. She was southern as fried chicken. She rushed over to him with loving husband in tow. “Why! I reckon he’s lost just like the rest of ‘em!” The ghastly pair stopped just a foot in front of them and marveled at both Rin and Ranth. “Yeah.. Yeah.. We can help ya. At least ya didn’t run from us like the others.” Jedediah grumbled and waved. “We’re friendly folk. They’re just a buncha fraidy cats.” Rin shot a quizzical look at the girl who’d just addressed her by her favorite title and sighed as Ranth gave her a smile that would put her mind at ease. It was him. “Very well, my dear.” The Emperor would stand tall and brush her kimono off before offering Ranth a hand to pull him to his feet if he chose to stand.

“Of course we can help sugar! That’s all we’ve been tryin’ to do this whole time! Oh those poor, poor children. What happened last time, Jed?” She looked to her husband who scratched his beard and seemingly looked into space for a minute, trying to recall the events of this house. “I think.. I think they were run over by rats. One of their friends did it, Mandy. Those poor kids..” He shook his head. As soon as those words left his mouth, he looked to both Ranth & Rin with fear and gasped. “Heavens to Betsy! That’s right!… Y’all don’t know.. One of you will be blowin’ up a storm soon..” Mandy tightened her grasp around Jedidiah’s arm worriedly and he pat her hand. “There are secrets in this house that’ll turn one of you against your little friends in this here castle. I reckon’ they’ll wanna kill the others like last time. Haven’t you seen the crows? Those nasty birds!” She leaned a little closer to Ranth and Rin, almost unnervingly so. “The more of ‘em you see and hear, the sooner one of you will get to killin’!” They’d mouthed off about other things and nearly forgot Ranth’s question.

“Get out..?”

“Get out..?”

Both Jed and Mandy turned to look each other, seeming to think something over. “Mm. There is a way actually.” Mandy nodded excitedly, looking to her husband “Wasn’t it how that nice young man escaped and then all his friends after that!? Oh you must tell them Jed!” Rin perked up and looked to Ranth. “You said there were other people here as well, ne~? We absolutely must find a way to save them as well as ourselves.” She looked to Jed expectantly. “Well, somewhere hiding in this castle is a key. A skeleton key that opens that there front door y’all woke up in front of. That’s kind of your only way out.” Rin would begin to pipe up but Jed would cut her off swiftly. “We don’t know where it is. It’s just somewhere in this castle hiding somewhere. We’re awfully sorry.” Rin sighed and looked around the room, thinking of places where this key might be. “I hope you can get out before you or one of your friends running up there turns on the rest of ya.”

Jed and Mandy lingered on just in case there were any other questions Ranth had. If he was done, he’d see a cautious look on Rin’s face as the tall male looked at the only other doors they could exit out of. One to the far south of the room where Jed and Mandy came from and another to the side. He could do whatever he liked.

Luke & Shizuka
2nd Floor - The Bloody Room (I)

The little girl’s giggles only grew louder as both Luke and Shizuka addressed her. Especially at Shizuka. She looked at Shizuka as if she knew something and he didn’t. Though, that was very much true. Maybe, this “Nadezhda” seemed to know the inner machinations of this castle. She gave Luke a triumpant grin as she bit into the sandwich that never seemed to get smaller again. Chew. Chew. Giggle. Chew. Swallow. She was taking her time, remaining mostly silent to mostly the Bount’s questions as she ate and only spoke after a couple of unnerving minutes.

“Heehee! I’m not leaving you guys~!” She continued to ride on her little bicycle and trailed closely next to Luke, continuing to multitask and hold on to his hand. “ ‘Cause I can!” That answer could have been applied to any one of his questions he’d fired at her. As soon as the loving pair reached the staircase and started to ascend to the upper floors of the house, they’d see that “Nadezhda” was gone. There was peace for a minute or so and the only sounds the pair would hear was their own footsteps padding on carpeted runners that adorned the old, grandiose staircase. Some steps creaked more than others and ocassionally, they’d hear a knock or a scratch here and there. Almost like something was living under it. Still, they’d make it to the upper landing and see a hallway that split off in four different directions.

One step. Two. Three. Four. Four steps from the staircase and into the hallway, they’d hear a voice boom excitedly from behind them. “You know… one of you guys is gonna be “it” soon right?” She spoke cryptically as she cycled up the pair. She was back. The girl looked up at Luke and then Shizuka, letting her last words sink in before moving closer to them, taking Luke’s hand once again and looking at Shizuka. “Want some?” She asked the blonde male with a challenging smirk, knowing full well he didn’t.

“It’s nice that you’re so cozy to one another. Is that gonna change when one of you becomes “it”?” She looks up at both Luke & Shizuka, wide eyed and curious. Though that innocent, bewildered little girl look would falter in four seconds. Her face would contort into one of malice and she giggled, slowly moving ahead of Luke and Shizuka, leading them to a room. “Anyways~! All kinds of creepy things happen in this house, Dad! You should reaaally be careful..” She cautioned Luke as she peddled along.

Eventually, she led them into a room and rolled right in past the shadowy screen in the doorway. Upon entering it, they would see bloody swipes in the door frame. When finally inside, they’d notice that most of the room was covered in blood. Especially in the middle. Just a huge puddle of it sat in the middle of the room and spidered out. There wasn’t so much on the outside but they’d see handprints, bootprints, claw marks. All tell tale markings that there was a struggle in here a while ago.

“I wonder who it'll be..” She hummed a random tune and continued to munch away on her sandwich. In the very middle of the room the pair would see an ornate dagger wedged into floor amidst all the blood. The blade was two pronged and curved; one edge was spiked to the top down to the hilt and the other prong was shorter than the other. There were strange symbols carved into the metal and the hilt was seemingly wrapped in a small bandage with a long dangling wire hanging from the hilt with small charms that resembled the tooth of some kind of feline or canine animal.

“Nadezdha” see this and points out to the dagger. “Oh! That would be really helpful! You can defend yourself with that one!” Which was definitely true. She was honestly trying to help her dad out. They’d hear the distant sound of a crow cawwing likely coming from the ground floor. “Ooooh yeah..!” She giggled, looking at both Luke and Shizuka sympathetically. Pitying almost. “You definitely want that.” Whenever Luke and Shizuka were done with this room there was a doorway north and another two on either side of the room they could enter.

Ludwig & Wycliff
The Dining Room (O)

The nasty little puppet that attacked Wycliff was thrown off. Flung like rag doll up and over the walls. The pair would hear only the most adorable, extremely audible squeak as Wycliff’s fist connected with the puppet. It seemed that with all this female’s mighty strength and courage, she set that screwy, troublesome puppet up and over the garden walls! Somewhere in the back of their minds they heard a faint ghost of a whisper, ”Team Rocket is blasting off again!”. Though, no one was here.

After Wycliff sent that puppet packing and wreaking havoc and all kinds of poor helpless, innocent angel statues, they’d continue on into the next room. Upon entering it, they would see that it looked like a completely normal dining room. It was beautiful actually. Large, elongated mahogany table with lit candelabras sitting atop it with a burgundy ornate runner in the middle with something extremely interesting sitting on the very middle of the table, almost like a centerpiece. Golden plates and cutlery neatly set on the table and large comfy red dining chairs…. Though one of them looked displaced and wasn’t placed at the table like the others were. It was a beautiful well lit room.

Though, it wouldn’t feel as such. The would find no solace in this place no matter how pretty it looked. The air in here felt really heavy and almost foreboding. It might even give them chills. It was unclear why at first but if they moved up and looked at the very center of that table, they’d see a mask. One that looked quite demonic and had two crimson ribbons dangling from either side. There was nothing off with the mask if they just picked up though, one of them could try to wear it.

“CAWW CAWW”

There it was again! The sound of another crow crying out, echoed throughout the entirety of the castle. Though it was much louder for these two this time around. If they turned, they’d see a large grandfather clock standing in the corner ticking away and perched on it, a large crow with red eyes swooped down and flew past them both, cawwing loudly in their ears. It flew off back into the gardens but if they looked through the doorway again, there wouldn’t be a trace of the bird.

If they looked around the dining room again, everything would seem fine. Ludwig would find that one of the dining room chairs was a lot closer to him. Nudging against the side of his leg almost. There was one other door in this room that they could explore and was to their left.

Well, ya know, that actually could have gone a lot worse. Asuka was, as always, perfectly innocent, and quite talented when it came to reassuring Hibiki. He had definitely been in a bit of a funk since arriving here, but his… significant other... had managed to snap him out of it. He her them for that. The healer returned the embrace, and was grateful for the companionship and closeness at that time. It also didn’t hurt that he was bi, so Asuka having swapped genders didn’t make this an unwelcome experience for him in any way. In fact, a decent chunk of him just wanted to forget about the whole predicament and stay there with the Segunda Espada. As Asuka mentioned their changed form, Hibiki, now fully in control of the his body again, was quick to reassure her that, ”And yet you’re still so stunning as to take my breath away with but a glance.”

Alas though, they couldn’t just sit around and flirt forever, no matter how much Hibiki would have liked that. Instead he told her the bit about promising to explain everything later, but he then could help himself. As Asuka pulled him along, even if it was just a slight gesture, he gripped her hand tighter. He didn’t want to let go. It wasn’t that he couldn’t handle this place on his own, but when he was with his significant other, he just didn’t really feel afraid. And she had returned the gesture. He had known their feelings were mutual, but it was the little things like that that kept him going. Besides, Asuka was one of the most powerful people alive. If he was with her, he had nothing to fear. More importantly though, she was simply too bright a ball of sunshine to let him get away with being a debbie downer for too long.

”When we get out, I’ll bake whatever you want darling.”.

Hibiki couldn’t help but giggle at Asuka’s reaction to the crow. Where he might have been afraid on his own, instead it was just silly because of her. Lord he adored this woman. Soon enough he had received the crystal ball from Asuka, and began to examine it. ”Not sure either. Wonder if it does something?” He looked straight into the thing, and looked to see what he might find. Regardless of what he did or did not find, he moved over towards the room to the west. Hopefully Asuka would follow him. The only delay would be if the Crystal Ball showed him something beneficial in this room, which he would of course retrieve before departing.

[Wycliff]

As they entered the new room Wycliff let out a sigh of relief, it seemed that none of the other statues in that place were weeping angels, that or she and Ludwig had actually gotten through the place without blinking. “I'm fine, was able to punt that fucker before it got to me. Don't worry too much about me, I'm a grown adult ya know. I ain't yer third seat for nothin ya know.” While she did appreciate the worry that Ludwig had for her, Ludwig had to have some trust in her that if something was wrong she would actually say something and bring it up. There was no use in wasting time worrying about everything that happened especially when nothing came of it.

In this new room things felt off, Wycliff wasn't sure, however there was one thing that drew her attention and almost like a magnet she went towards it. The whispers of words came from it as it called for him to it. She grabbed it and without even giving a second thought he slipped it on over her face. The mask it's self was that of an oni and the moment he put it on she heard the screams of tormented souls echo through his head. However instead of being afraid of the screams and being afraid she relished the sounds allowing them to overtake them and fill his mind with new information. As this was happening she didn't even realize that he was letting out a soft chuckle mixed with a crazed intention.

With the mask on Wycliff looked around the rest of the room, there really wasn't anything she wanted or saw that was worthwhile, well that wasn't exactly true. Wycliff grabbed a about half a dozen forks from the table stuffing them in his pocket. “Gold, worth something ya know. If we get out I'ma sell them for some cash for a vaca for the squad.” she told Ludwig as she grabbed them not wanting her to get the wrong idea as to why he grabbed the forks. With that said and done the only other way out was another room so she opened the door to it and walked in not really waiting for Ludwig this time or paying any attention to her.

While the way Shizuka phrased that sentence was a little over the top, Luke couldn’t agree more than they needed to separate themselves from whatever this...thing was. He/She was convinced that this wasn’t actually Nadezhda at this point. The possibility of Nadezhda being here was next to none. On top of that, why hadn’t her gender changed as well like everyone elses? There was also, as Windstärke pointed out, the fact that Nadezhda recognized him despite his transformed body. Also the sandwich. Sandwiches didn’t just infinitely regenerate. However, despite Luke’s suspicions, he couldn’t act on them. Not in his current state. Normally? If Luke was some evil bastard he could obliterate Nadezhda without trouble. But, right now, he wasn’t in a position to do anything.

For now...Luke was forced to accept “Nadezhda’s” company. She had a hold on his hand and followed them along on her tricycle as Luke lead both her and Shizuka back to the main hall. The house didn’t seem shy when it came to making spooky noises at them. Stepping back out into the hall and beginning to ascend the stairs, Luke noticed that Nadezhda wasn’t following them anymore. ”She’s gone? When did..” Luke asked out loud, before he simply frowned. ”She’ll be back. My guts telling me whatever “she” is isn’t done haunting us yet.” Windstärke might have been right. Once the couple had finished their climb, they’d be welcomed to the sight of four hallways. ”Fucking..” Luke cursed, his head bouncing back and forth as he took in the sight of all the halls.

As Luke began to venture down one of the halls he would stop, hearing a familiar voice that he only got a break from for about a minute. Turning around, Girluke look at “Nadezhda” as she cryptically said something about one of them being “it” soon. Luke’s dark colored eyes narrowed as he threw a glance at Shizuka, before returning his stare to the apparition on the tricycle. ”Let me guess...you’re not gonna tell us what being “it” means, are you?” Luke asked with a hint of irritation. He wasn’t having fun with this haunted house bullshit. His tits were on fire and his underwear was soggy.

Luke would blink, for a moment, when he watched her face contort from something innocent to something built out of pure malice. It made him have a cold sweat, actually. The child rode past him and looked to be leading the two of them to a room. ”Why are you following her??” Jäger asked, which was a fair question. ”Thanks for the warning..” Luke grumbled at Nadezhda, following behind her to the room she was leading them too. However, what met them when they stepped into that room was quite the surprise.

Blood covered the walls and floor. Signs of a struggle were apparent all over the place. ”Looks like the chamber of Amy Schumer's Period.” Oh, a period joke. Thanks Jäger. Point was, though, the room was a bloody mess. ”Hah.” Luke, though, would cautiously step into the room when he saw something on the floor. Stepping over the puddle of blood and crouching down, he’d wrap his hand around the hilt of the dagger and, with a twist and a tug, pull it free of its resting place. ”Knife to meet you.”

Lifting it up and showing it to Shizuka, Luke decided it might be best if he kept the dagger. A dagger was just a short sword...right? Well, unless Shizuka wanted it. Hearing the crow caw in the house, Luke had to wonder if the place had a bird problem or something else was going on. Honestly, part of him hoped against running into one of those crows. He was beginning to suspect that they were a part of the system at play against them. Looking at Shizuka and the doors that they had to go through, Luke would let out a sigh. ”As bad an idea it is...maybe we should split up for a minute here? I’ll take this door and-” he would point to the East door, ”-you go through the west one. We'll cover more ground if we search two rooms at once. If anything happens I’ll come running.” It might have been stupid to split up, but in truth Luke wanted to. Not for any reason that Shizuka had done, but to get her away from the Nadezhda apparition. It seemed to have been attached to him and he didn’t want Shizuka getting caught up in whatever game it had in mind.
