[Arantima Kawada]

Arantima was Perusing through a few files he had acquired through the Seireitei records more-so than the Kawada Family records. The Kawada barely accepted him, and only did so because he was a Vice captain and having another among their ranks increased their standing among the other families.. And As Arantima was discovering the Kawada were struggling more so than they had in many centuries maybe even millennia. The actions of Harle have addled and rattled Arantima about the family ever since that day.. Arantima moves his hands out in-front of himself and parted them, the Shields covering the door opened, and Arantima sighed gently "If that is as far as you are Willing to Go Taichou than I will not stop you.. But please listen to Our words.. Slash and burn leads to a Failure of a Farm.. And Gouging out organs to remove scarred tissue ends lives.. " He Steps Aside and gestures into the doorway he had just opened, He was not going to impede Her progress forward bit it seemed he likewise was not going to help her.

He Sighed and put the papers he was reading down and looked out of his window, it was Sunset his favorite time of day and the sweet cool breeze between Spring and fall wafted into his room from the open window. He was Content, the Gate guardians was about to become an offcial position and it was going to make a great stride for the security of the seireitei Kyomei Kuchiki was going to Oversee the protection of the Rukongai with his Squad and all was going well in the Seireitei.. For now.. He Rememred though now back to the many times he himself had caused the Rukongai and the seireitei issues with his own release in the past and the way his Release took him over..

He Recalls his fight with the beasts in the Rukongai..Arantima Was Shaken as he Stood up from the crater, His visage had changed as he wiped the blood from his lip and Streaked it through his Golden hair as he flipped his hair back out of his face. He Sounded manic and Violent as he roared out "Oh you little beast.. You had a chance while I was struggling to stay calm.. Now? Now I am Awakened.. Now I am Satsujin!! TENRYU SATSUJIN!! WATASHI WA ANATA NO NYUSATSU GA KONA NI NARU MADE ANATA O YOROKUBA SEMASU!!" His voice was like a Rippling Dragon through a storm. He was controlling his power before and now it just rages around, the Gravitational pressure completely disappearing from the space as he Rushes forward.

He Recalls his fight with Hotaru when he first Realized his Shikai release.. He Rememred the Power flowing through his punches, never connected with Hotaru.. luckily.. The blows that went past her flowed far, and impacted the walls of the training ground to crumble and destroy them as he sent shockwave after shockwave after Hotaru and missed with them all luckily.Had one even clipped her she would have been in the hospital for longer than he had been. He Had refined himself much since then Refined not only the use of his body but of his zanpakuto. Upon fixing his own soul he Attained his own true self Reshaping himself as well as reshaping his blade.

He Felt that the Kawada needed the same reforging.. He KNEW they needed to regain their own soul once more and, that there was currently a parasite sitting somewhere within them he just couldn't find any proof of it. All of Harle's "Proof" had been seized by Squad 7 and that was not allowed to be perused by anyone but the Captain himself and even then he needed to alert several people he was reading it.  There were things however that he was finding that were not so well covered up things he was going to have to act one once he had the standing to do so. Standing was something he was only just realizing that was needed to be a player in the everyday life of the seireitei. He was just happy performing his duties as Guardian of the gate and Vice captain of Squad 10.

The fact that there was more to this life was something he had never considered nor had he ever thought he would be putting himself in its way. He Was more than seriously considering a take over, hostile if need be. The Kawada Elder council was killing the Kawada Family, and the only other member of the Kawada that was even somewhat capable of leading was Tsukyomi Kawada who was.. A Reclusive creature, but likewise a vice captain like himself.  Tsukyomi seemed to be the type to let the status quo be, and that was not something Arantima enjoyed the outlook of at all. The Kawada Family crest was a pheonix and they were currently in the ash stage of the life cycle.

Arantima was going to be the spark that breathed life back into this Great noble family, He Would not resort to Harle's method of kill them all and let the cycle sort them out he would Approach properly, Give his own stance on the matters and If any would refuse him he would challenge them openly and legally.. He was a Member in good standing of the family and a Vice captain of the Gotei thirteen He had to be heard and respected not only this but his connections to the Kuchiki family would make the tension between the two families lessen for a time hopefully, he would only hope seeing as how he was on good terms with Kyomei and Hotaru Kuchiki two of the strongest members of that family.


This was all well and Good, However he was going to have to Do something about his release. He was going to have to do something about Tenryu Satsujin and the way he took over when they released, He lent Arantima his power but in return he demanded control over Arantima's body. He slammed his fist into his desk and Growled softly before turning to look at his blade hanging on the wall of his office emblazoned with the Kawada Family Crest. The Sword with unsheathed and resting perfectly in the Talons of a Wrought iron phoenix in the center of the Crest. He Stared intently at the sword and stood up, sheathing it on his hip as he left his office doing something he NEVER did. He put on his Vice captains Coat as he headed out with a determination. He Was going to the wilderness to find a man he had only met once before, a man who taught him to refine himself and his connection to his zanpkuto.

Arantima was a man with a lot to prove. He had to prove things to himself: that he could control his own power. He had things to prove to his family: that they should change. It was not a journey that he could accomplish on his own. No, what he needed to accomplish this was the help of someone he had not seen in a long time. At least that was what he thought. How much help could this person be to him though? He was a Vice-Captain at this point in his career, which meant he was the among the strongest two dozen or so people in all of Soul Society.

He had journeyed out this way not in search of raw power, but in search of control. He found that as he walked out through the wilderness, the feeling in the air around him changed. With each step further into the wilderness his Vice Captain’s insignia earned him less respect and more fear. It was not just a mark of authority, or service, but of power. As he made his way out through the Rukongai, it was evident just by the looks he got that he was not welcome in this place. A normal Shinigami may even have been attacked, but no one was foolish enough to jump someone wearing the badge of a Vice-Captain.

Once he reached the forest that he had ventured to so long ago, the feelings of animosity seemed to vanish. There were no more people here. It was empty. Vacant. For a bit of the walk into the woods it seemed refreshing. Pleasant even. Perhaps this was all Arantima truly needed. Some time away from the politics. Away from the violence. A place like this could do him some good even if he did not find the man he was looking for. But just as soon as he might have begun to feel some sense of inner peace, he felt something else in the air around him.

No, this wasn’t just in the air. He’d feel it in the ground. In the trees. In the energy itself that swirled through the air. He had come here in search of a man, but this forest belonged to monsters. With a devilish shriek he would hear a cry that was unmistakable. Menos Grande. Clad in flowing black robes and white mask, a creature had emerged from behind a particularly large tree and entered the clearing that Arantima had just reached. Each of its steps shook the entire forest, or at least seemed to. And it had spied Arantima. On instinct, it did what any good monster would do: charged up a cero and fired the house-sized beam of energy straight at the Vice Captain.

[Arantima Kawada]

Arantima walks through the Rukongai and watches the people and their reactions to himself. The hatred in their eyes, the malice in the outer districts, the closer districts are less so but still some hold animosity. He waves at them showing kindness and flipping a helpful coin to many who are begging on the street, hoping that he can at least alleviate some trouble if only for a moment. That is until he gets out beyond the 77th districts, the painful existence out there troubled him but the people out there were doing little to help each other let alone their own situations. There were cutthroats and shivvers, bandits and cruel people of all sorts and yet there were children here hardened children who adapted well to their surroundings but being swept along a dark path because of it.

He Keeps his hand on his Zanpakuto once he starts to see some people drawing knives and blades near him as they watch him move through their territory.  This was a strange feeling he could sense peoples motivations for things and all he could sense here was a motivation to cause harm, a motivation of making others feel the way they did because they thought it would make them feel better. The thought that these people are still here where they can go and make their souls better they believe they are trapped in their state and have to make others feel terrible. The feeling of that made Arantima feel greasy.

The Forest was different, he could no longer feel peoples presence, he felt at ease. The blessing and curse of those who could not sense spiritual energy was that one had no forewarning of imminent dangers. All there was was the scream, the Loud roar of a Menos that was unmistakable, unable to be any other grade of Hollow. The trees shook and the ground quaked with its step as it opened its mouth, the air hummed with power as the Cero began to form.  Arantima Didn't take a moment to think he knew that a Cero was going to be enough to kill him in this state, Even in soulbind it would be enough to kill him if it hit more than three of his bodies.

A Single Flash step, His Captain was a Kuchiki and a master of Ho-Ho, any member of his squad who could not use Shunpo perfectly would be reprimanded. Arantima looked onward as the Cero tore through the ground where he had been not moments before. He slams his fists together and speaks very softly "Heion to heiwa, yasurakana mewosamasu" After he speaks his Zanpakuto burns away in golden fire and the ash floats up through the air to encapsulate his skin merging with it and turn his skin fully golden. His hair washes over with gold as well and becomes as Wire made of gold, while scales of Gold metal coat his flesh and go down his body.

As he  moves his stance and rolls his shoulders he leaves a trail behind himself, 5 separate bodies flowing into the same position simply because that was easiest. The Slowest of the Forms Sent out a single punch forward and then the True form or Arantima sent out a side kick before they both went back to resting Arantima was simply accommodating himself to the Soulbound form before he would proceed with taking down this hollow. He did not Need to release his shikai for this threat, or at least that is what he hoped This would be enough for any threat he faced out here the end of which would hurt but would be less troublesome than letting Tenryu take over for simply a single hollow.

Tenryu would never Let Arantima hear the end of it, to be awakened for a single Menos when he had fought him so hard to learn the Soulbind in the first place. Arantima Moved Then, Not giving the Menos much time to React after his Soulbind was complete. A Second Shunpo this time the Sound of a golden gong preceding it and with Arantima moving much slower than he once did with each of his bodies following suit in slightly slower succession. AS His True Body arrived next to the Hollows Head He Went to Slam a Fist into the Hollows Mask punching with all of his strength, then as the First shadow Arrived It Mirrored Arantima's Attack on the opposite side moving forward enough to Ensure that it could make contact after the True body.

The Second Shadow Arrived and Sent out a Hard Side step Kick towards the Jaw of the Hollow Staying in contact with the fist of the True Body. As the third Shaddow Arrived it arrived Attached to the Foot of the Second shadow with a Spun Back Elbow to Connect with the Menos once more. The Fourth Shadow Showed up Connected to the Elbow of the Third and Sent A Exact Math for the True Bodies punch for the Menos with the Fifth Shadow appearing and Bringign down both fists in a hammer style blow against the beast attached to the fist of the fourth Shadow by the back.

As The Sequence of attacks Rattles off After the Last shadow has attacked They all rush back into Arantima's True body and Take up different Hakuda stances making it appear as if Arantima has Twelve Arms for Attack and Defense.

Ah, soulbind. It was a mighty technique to be sure. In the right hands it was a deadly as shikai, but these were not the right hands. Arantima’s blows rained down on the hollow. Well, his blows and those of his five shadows. They all packed a pretty solid punch, well above the strength of even a mighty animal. The Gillian shrieked in pain as the blows slammed into it, and it stumbled around, but it neither fell nor vanished into oblivion. Arantima had the strength to do great things, but he lacked a weapon with which to slay his foe. He had opted for Soulbind over Shikai to retain his sanity, but that had come at the cost of his hollow-purifying blade.

With all his bodies in one place, the Gillian let out another roar and began to charge another cero. Though it had good power, the creature wasn’t terribly creative. That was certainly how it appeared to be at first, but the creature didn’t just do that same attack again. It waited for some kind of movement from Arantima first. It couldn’t figure out which one was the original, so it had devised a plan to hopefully make it not matter. Eventually Arantima would move to do something about the Cero right? If he did, that was when the hollow would make its move. If he didn’t move, then this was executed at the last possible second before the Cero would go off.

A crack in the sky would open, and the Gillain would vanish. It stepped through the world of the void, and would appear directly behind Arantima with its Cero ready to fire, but the Cero still didn’t come. In its place was a bala fired from each of its hands. Assuming that Arantima had moved, then each bala would target a different copy of him. If he hadn’t moved, then both would converge on the stack of bodies. It had only stayed there for a moment though. Not even long enough to let a counterattack in. As soon as the bala were launched, it cracked the sky open again in another step of Ulcera.

This time it didn’t appear behind him, but rather appeared in the air above him. It was from fifty feet in the air that it looked down and fired off the Cero it had charged. This was no regular cero though, but instead was Cero Lluvia. Nine individual cero branched out from the one red ball that it had charged in its mouth. Six of them would blast out towards the six bodies of Arantima. Three of them would go wide initially, and would hit random parts of the forest. They didn’t explode on contact there though, but instead bounced off the trees and headed back towards the Shinigami on different angles. Depending on how Arantima moved, he may well have to dodge twice just to avoid the one attack.

With it’s attack complete, the Gillain would fall back to the ground. Though the creature couldn’t really show facial expressions the same way a humanoid body could, it was evident that it felt a bit sluggish from its ungraceful landing. The thing had just used a good portion of its reiatsu in one go, but it had been desperate against the six on one offensive launched against it. Would it be enough?

Technique Description and Effects:

This creates a much weaker version of Cero, or more accurately creates several much weaker variations of Cero, all at once. Up to nine can be created at once, all with significantly less explosive power than even a Bala. However, the purpose of the technique is to be used indoors. It can be fired into the ceiling, where it will bounce off once and explode upon hitting something else later. This is particularly deadly in low level combat. Inexperienced, new Shinigami are often challenged by Hollows using this Cero.

Technique Type: Stepping

Usable By: Hollows (Not Arrancar)


Technique Description and Effects: This technique is a basic stale for a Hollow's ability to slide in and out of the valley of screams at will when it is hunting or stalking prey. By gliding in and out of the space used by techniques like garganta or descorrer, a hollow can get around quickly. This technique operates similarly to a stepping technique, but only moves at 5x the user's speed. However, the user weaves through rips in the fabric of whatever world they are in, and as such the hollows exits, and then re-enters at the destination, Hollows do not lose awareness of the world as they move through an Ulcera, and can return to the material world mid-step in response to a threat or opportunity. This technique does not take up a Technique slot.

[Arantima Kawada]

Arantima Watched the Menos reel from his blows but get back up without much issue. He Groaned internally at this, there was not much he could do at this point to actually harm it.. Unless he focused every hit into a single strike and timed it.. Perfectly to match the speed of his slowest strike Which he could do thanks to his training with Timing, Different Tempo was a technique he had learned observing some Hakuda Masters and their students. He Could utilize it to suddenly drop the speed of his own attacks to match that of his slowest arm and have all Six punches land all at once.. It would be risky But it would be possible. He Spread out his Bodies as the Menos Started to Charge it's Cero.

Like Hands Across America There were six Arantimas Joined together at the hands. He Is staring down the Menos almost challenging it to Fire it's cero at one of them, forcing it to guess if all were real or just a few of them were, yet Arantima knew that he was going to get hit. It never came, the Cero blast that was going to Erupt his flesh and sear his scales. The Menos Went through an Ulcera, a Technique Arantima had only seen used by one other Hollow in his past.. And that was swiftly followed by pain from his back. He Had time only enough to take a single breath He turned, The true self and the 1st shadow turned in unison. They each Looked ready to defend and yet were Met with Bala Being thrown at them. Arantima Had Trained a bit with his Soulbind and knew that it was a major source of power and he had expected to be hit in anycase.

Arantima and his first shadow both threw punches towards the Bala coming at them, not even having time to fully extend their fists when the Bala contacted them. The Bala hit their fists and even though the Power behind the Bala Was immense The Raw Tiers of power being exerted against each other were vastly different. It was like throwing a Bala at a Shikai release and that was sheer stupidity. The Bala impacted and Buckled under the force of Soulbind backing up his fists. The Bala Exploded into uselessness but that was not the end of the Menos's Assault. The Menos Ulcera'd once more this time Above the Line of Arantima's Bodies and Began charging another Cero, this time however firing multiple cero's all at once.

Arnatima Flexed his hands in unison and Stared up at the Menos. The Ceros that were fired were All Fast, far too fast to be a Regular Cero but they were also smaller. Arantima Watched as 6 of those Ceros were all Fired directly towards a Version of himself and They all reacted in turn.  If they could punch through a Bala Hopefully they could at least reduce the damage of these Cero. He Takes a Breath and Matches All of his Attacks into one speed, All Measured to the slowest Speed to match each punch thrown So that they all land right when the Cero would as well. Each of these Cero's Felt strange, weaker than they should be..  He was certain he would be burned to a total crisp But instead Each of his blows once again Sent these Strange Cero's buckling.

Arantima Only just barely heard the cero's bounce off the trees behind himself, and he let out a Single Scoffing Tsk. His Only response to such a Tactic was to enact his own plan, He Took a single step using Shunpo to Take all of his clones along the path up towards the Menos' Mask and As they all arrived there was only a slight delay in the attacks Down all the way to Match the slowest Attack speed of all the bodies forcing them all to land at the same time, Hopefully knocking a hole into the Mask of the menos grande, if he couldn't kill it outright in one blow he may send it reeling back into heuco mundo With his sheer offensive force. He Was not sure how many more tricks he had left in him to move through with this Menos But this was a Lesson, he would have to train The way of the winding Dragon more intensively.

All at once the attacks landed against the mask of the hollow. Try though it might have, it couldn’t react to the relatively high speed assault all at once. One strike would knock it around, and two would damage it, but six was too much for it. Even though Arantima struck without a purifying blade, the raw force of six simultaneous strikes to the mask of the beast was enough to shatter the mask into fragments. This, of course, killed the gillian. Had it been more focused on defense maybe it could have survived, but it had just wanted to kill. Poor thing.

Just as the carnage settled down a bit, a new power entered that space. Well no, that isn’t quite accurate. It wasn’t a single power, but rather several. This forest was not home to one mere menos grande, but in fact was a hunting ground for many hollows. Emphasis on many. The strongest member of their order had been dealt with, and that meant one thing and one thing only. It was time to reestablish the pecking order. Dozens of creatures made their way out from the trees into the clearing where the Shinigami was. Though no single creature looked intimidating, their sheer numbers posed a significant threat.

One by one, the bravest of them would venture out farther from the trees. These were young, stupid hollows who saw opportunity, not a vast difference in strength. All it would take is a lucky bite on this man and they would be in charge now. It was clear that Arantima was surrounded by the sheer bulk of them, but at least he had a few moments to think. Could he flee? Unlikely, as there was no visible opening, and he was here for a reason. Could he fight them one by one? Possible, but it risked being overwhelmed. Could he crush them all at once? Doubtful with his power still half sealed.

But he was given no more than those precious few moments to think about what to do. By the time a few thoughts had crossed his mind the beasts were upon. They came at him, one after another, leaving him almost no time to recover after each attack. Their coordination was nonexistent, but their desire to kill was evident. Every attack was aimed at a vital spot. Could he hope to fend them all off, or did he have some kind of other plan in store? If he didn’t either fight his way to freedom or do something else, he would find himself rapidly overcome by the sheer numbers. But Arantima was no slouch. Surely he had something in store for a situation like this.
