There is no door and there are no windows. All three of them were asleep on the floor and are sore when they come to. If they try to destroy parts of the room they realize it is indestructible. Inside of the room is a very short, small green creature with pointy ears. It wears a white robe and holds a cane as it sits on the floor, watching them. When they come to, it speaks. Kitai groaned, slowly drifting back into consciousness. You really get an appreciation for the sensation when you go nearly a year without it. Just another unique torture when you get tossed into the fiery pits of the afterlife. He tried to go back to sleep, desperately wanting to enjoy the lack of death for as long as the moment would last. But, sadly, he was quickly losing the battle. Forcibly kicked back awake, he immediately noticed something off about the place.Lying on his face, he was greeted with a solid white floor. "White?" He asked himself drearly, unused to the bright color.
"I don't remember going to the bone fields..." He said to himself as he pushed himself up. Managing to get himself into a sitting position, he tried to remember what the last thing he remembered was. He remembered hunting in the frozen caves, when some golem looking monster got the jump on him, and knocked him into a frozen pike. He remembered trying to resurrect, but there was a bright light... "Grr..." There was nothing after that. No lava, no guardian, nothing. And now he was here, in... a large white box? Was he still in Hell? Why did Hell have a giant white box? And, oh look, other people.
He checked his back and reserves, and sure enough, he was wearing his skinsuit. Climbing to his feet, he stretched, working the kinks out of his limbs after the first sleep he had without dying in nearly a year, with his chains making more than enough noise to wake the other two. He gave the two people a good hard look, debating on whether he should kill them or not. If he didn't, he was sure they would try to kill him, that's just how it worked around here. Or, how it worked in Hell, anyway. He wasn't sure what this place was, but if it was some sort of special torture, he'd probably want them alive.
Kitai was sure to most people, the room was pretty boring, but after so much time looking at nothing but ugly, unholy abominations that were born after years of suffering, looking at a whole lot of nothing was pretty refreshing. Still, nothing this nice in Hell could be good for his health. Putting on a huge fake smile and sucking in a deep breath, he decided to make sure the others up. "WAKE UP F#CKERS! YEAHHAAHAHAHAHA~!" He yelled, cackling at the end, enjoying the ability to be a general nuisance to beings who could appreciate sentient thought.
He might have continued on, had a voice not interrupted him. Some short, green thing with a stick was sitting against a wall, watching them with hazy eyes. It was smiling at them, almost like he knew a joke that they didn't. Was it mocking them? Probably, but what else is new down here? So the sinner just decided to chuckle along with the wrinkled old prune. "Well hello there! Hehe, are you the demon that trapped us here? If so, good job!" Kitai told him, ready to attack if it didn't give Him an answer that he liked. "HahA, gotta admit, this is the nicest place I've seen all year!" The mad man was eager to strike down the raggedy old muppet.
{Skinsuit Text}{Dark Skill Level 1 Property:} [His first level creates a body for him to enter and use as he sees fit. The physical body is different than his soul body, as it restricts a number of things he can do. The new body takes his highest spiritual stat, and uses it to fuel the physical capabilities of it. While in the bodies, the wearer's highest spiritual stat will act as if it is 50% of what it normally is.
In order to create a body, Kitai must spend 25% of his current reiatsu, but must spend at least 250 in order to use the technique. The amount of reiatsu used to create a body changes the effects. The strength and durability of the bodies is based off the amount of reiatsu Kitai is missing. For every 100 reiatsu Kitai has lost or used in the thread, will increase the durability by 10, with the starting durability being 300. Each body comes with 300 strength and speed as base with every 100 reiatsu missing from his max reiatsu increasing both the strength and speed by 5. If the user has physical stats higher than 300, the physical stat or stats will be changed to that higher number.
The strength of the body is a sort of false one. While the body is strong, it is merely a tool, not truly living, so to speak. While a real body would be able to handle such high strength and speed, this one is a mere tool, and all tools have a breaking point. Those wearing the body will find themselves unable to use main benefits that high physical stats would normally grant. Shockwaves and mending bones through sheer power are forever lost to the user. In fact, the body is completely unable to use any of the perks past 400, for both strength and speed, unless the wearer has those stats already without the body.
Much like a tool, once the body uses too much power, it begins to quickly decay. The max it can use in either physical stat is 300, before the untrained body breaks its limit. After that, the body is doomed to die quickly, and painfully. The body has no issues with stamina after this point, never running out after it breaks its limits, using a sort of Hysterical Strength to force itself to keep going. Normally a body can last indefinitely, but for every post Kitai pushes it to use over 300 in either physical stat, up to 500, it drains a post, while over that pushes it by two posts. The body has ten of these posts before it dies, ejecting the user of it from the maimed corpse. Number-wise, it looks like this; 0-300 costs nothing, 301-500 costs one post out of ten, 501+ takes two posts out of ten.
The creation of the body is instant, forming around Kiati if he so chooses, and can be exited at any time the wearer pleases. The only oddities that make the body stand out from normal humans is that the first stage of a Dark Skill will still shine through, and the chains on their soul will still appear on the new body, but otherwise, the body will be have an appearance of whatever Kitai wishes it to look like.
So long as the body is worn, Hell has a much harder time finding him. For every three posts that a Saika is in the body, the count on the duration of his escape will go down by one for every three posts they make. Can start a thread with a body for an additional 500 reiatsu of the base cost, without activating his dark skill. Any damage the body takes is not fully transferred to him. Damage is reduced by seventy five percent, and attacks that would kill the body will eject the soul before it can be damaged. The body cannot heal via the normal Saika regeneration, but his soul underneath is still able to. The damage done to the soul will not transfer to the body. Once he exits a body, the stats will be reset to how it was before he entered the body. After a body is destroyed, it goes onto a three post cooldown before he can create another one.

The cool white floor beneath his fingertips was the first thing Hadrian noticed when he came to. The wall at his back and the unusual angle of his legs came next. The aches of having been lying there - perhaps tossed there - for quite some time all presented themselves in quick succession. Hadrian stretched out his arms, his joints clicking as he animated them. As he became accustomed to the state of his body, he turned his attention outward to the room - calmly assessing the unusual situation. The room itself was perfectly plain. The walls, floor and ceiling were a perfectly smooth white. The only thing punctuating the uniformity of the room were the shapes of three other figures, their bodies haphazardly strewn around the room as his was.
Hadrian tapped the floor below him gently, trying to get a read on the material it was constructed out of - as well as attempting to gain a clue as to where he was. It was hard to get a reading from his Energy Sensory so soon after waking up, and there was little to be gleaned from physically surveying the room before his eye came back into focus… He may as well use the instant before he fully woke up to draw in Reiatsu and prepare his Timer - there was no telling what kind of threat could be encountered in such an unfamiliar locale. It would be best to be prepared. And so the hands of his Spirit Fragment wound themselves back, his golden eye now displaying boldly 1 o’clock.
His vision swam back into focus soon after, and then Hadrian could confirm what he could see even with his blurred vision. A continuously white room, broken up by 3 figures. 2 of the figures were strewn as he was, their bodies still still on the ground, but perhaps showing signs of stirring. The third ‘body’ was what had caught Hadrian’s interest, however. He had assumed it was simply another ‘inmate’ of the cell, but it seemed to be a creature in its own right. Hadrian had incorrectly assumed, due to his foggy mind and vision, that the non-human proportions were simply a trick of perspective. No, this small green… person? Creature? Whatever it was, it simply stood watching over them…
The rattling of chains snapped Hadrian out of his reprieve, as one of the bodies loudly hauled itself off the floor. It took Hadrian a moment to process the significance of this appearance. The distorted features, the rattling chains… This was a denizen of Hell. Almost reflexively Hadrian checked his own arms and legs - to see if he too had been bound by those Infernal chains. But no, he remained free. For now, at least. However, the presence of this Sinner did reveal one important clue, they were likely to be within Hell - or that this location had some relation to the realm.
”Pl… please quiet yourself, sir”
Hadrian coughed lightly, still groggy from however he had gotten here. A sinner? Sir? This man had clearly committed atrocious crimes without remorse, and Hadrian was surprised that he was so willing to extend a basic courtesy to the Sinner. The cackling and maniacal swearing of it clearly indicated that it enjoyed being as much of a nuisance now as it had been a terror in life. But its deranged laughter was interrupted by an unusual voice emanating from the being in the centre of the room. The voice was light, almost mocking. Was this some kind of cosmic joke?
“Lost, methinks the three of you are.. Yes, oh... Veeeery lost."
The Sinner had referred to the creature as a demon… was this yet another denizen of Hell? Hadrian clutched his jacket pocket which contained his Quincy Cross in an attempt to draw on some of the Emperor’s Divine Strength. This was truly a dire situation if his analysis had been correct. What on earth was he here for? Why was this Sinner and a… Failure here with him?
”We are certainly lost, sir. Perhaps you could enlighten us as to why we were brought here?”
The green creature cackled madly. Because of its small stature and even its tiny voice, it was easy to think of it as adorable or simply as non threatening. No one in that room would be able to sense any of the little green one's reiatsu. It was as if he was a hallucination or was at a level that could insulate him from their energy sensory. There were many possibilities.
If he was a demon and he was from Hell then it made sense that it would be difficult to detect him, or that he might be high level. The little green one kicked its feet out playfully as it tried to adjust its position to get more comfortable. "A demon I am!" it replied to Kitai. "But the one who brought you here, I am not. No, not at all." The little green one pointed his cane at each of them individually before he continued elaborating on why they were here.
"Brought here by bad luck, were you! Yes, ohhh very bad luck. Dead and in Hell are you, mmm, yes." That should be impossible. None of them would remember dying. In fact none of them could remember what they had been doing before waking up here. Their farthest back memories would all be the same. What they had been doing that most recent morning. Anything after that wasn't even there.
No memory at all. Was it a lie? If they were dead then how had they died? Why were they here together? There were many stories of Hell, and there had been denizens of Hell that had made it into the world. All of that was different from this. There was no pain, nor any malice. They were simply in front of this green creature that was mocking them and taking some joy in their confusion. Why was it here? Why were they? The little green bobbed his head.
"Your guide I am." he told them. "For what is to come. Stay dead, you will not. Not yet. Much to do, there is..."

Hell had a way of messing with you. It broke the strong, and destroyed the weak, turning them into shadows of what they once were in life, for the better or worse. Usually the worse. Those too weak usually fell to madness, and became some of the lower leveled fiends, existing mindlessly, no goal or purpose. Demons were almost the opposite. If this thing truly was a demon, then he knew that he probably wouldn't have enough power to actually kill it, no matter how he wanted, especially given how calm it looked in the situation.
Looks were made to deceive in this burning abyss. If something looked harmless, you stayed far away from it, cause it could probably take over your body and wear you like a skin suit. Not a pleasant month. This green little smurf was as non threatening as they came. And that's the issue. Kitai glared at the creature, wanting nothing more than to either kill it, or leave, but neither of those were going to be options. It claimed that it was going to be our 'guide', but to where or what, it didn't elaborate.
The revenant gave it his signature toothy smile, crouching down to meet its eyes. "Hehehehe. Alrighty then Kermit! Why don't you lead the way then, before I use your rotten flesh to make some soup!" He told it, giving it a wicked stink eye. The sinner was someone who liked making his own path, not following one already made. He briefly wondered if the others would follow. He wondered if the green demon would lead? Was it lying? Not like it mattered all that much, they were trapped here, and he doubted the walls would break. Only one way out. But once he was out...

I… I’m dead?
Hadrian’s knuckles grew white and taut as he clutched at the watch at his heart. He had… died? But he still felt like he possessed all of his powers… Surely, if he had died, his powers should have returned to the Emperor? None of this made any sense. Though, perhaps, the most rational thing to assume at the moment was that the creature was lying. That seemed sensible. Most sensible. Hadrian’s breathing, which had picked up quite the pace, settled down. This thing was apparently a demon after all (Hadrian attempted to analyse the creature with his Energy Sensory to get a better idea of its motivations), so it did not feel like there was a reason to be too worried about the situation. Nothing was permanent, and even the creature admitted the temporary nature of their predicament. And so Hadrian prepared himself for the battles ahead, allowing his Spirit Fragment and Cross to draw in Reiatsu.
”Well then, sir. Please lead the way.”
But this seemed very strange. The man in chains seemed certain they were still in Hell, but this matched no description of the location that Hadrian had ever heard. Of course, not much escaped the confines of Hell… but he had imagined it being a little more, eh, fiery. Or at least he had expected a lot more pain to be involved. Here, instead, the only thing that stood out was how cool and smooth the walls of this ‘cell’ were. Quite the stark contrast to the image he had felt in his head. If this were Hell, it seemed they were here for some reason other than an eternal damnation. Though, if this sinner kept cackling and threatening this way perhaps they were all doomed to be damned to Lucifer’s clutches.
”So then, what is it you’d have us do, sir?”
Reiatsu: 3850/2250: +800 from Quincy Cross Timer 2/12
The wait is over. Though babies and plane rides have tired me out. Next post will compensate.
"First, a riddle for you!" the little green one exclaimed with a chuckle. A red door appeared in the middle of the room. "Begin your journey you can if solve this you do." The red door that appeared was obviously a door because it had a key hole but there was no latch or knob. How were they supposed to open a door like that if it was incomplete? It was firmly shut and not as simple as pushing open. It was probably wiser to answer the riddle and see if that opened the door than to try anything.
Above the door fire spelled out their riddle. The more you take, the more you leave behind.
