A day off, a nice thing to have, but in the shambles that is squad thirteen it was a rare thing nowadays. Wycliff often snuck away from his captain's office to go goof off when he wasn't getting all the paperwork that Ludwig didn't want to do, but to have a real day off was a different thing. To know that you didn't have to actually do anything and not have to hide? That feeling was amazing, yet instead of being on the sandy beaches in the real world Wycliff was still in the soul society. Why? the answer was simple he was waiting for someone, someone he hadn't seen in a while and with the stars aligned in the right way he would have a chance to catch up with them.
Wycliff waited quietly by the entrance into the squad four barracks. It wasn't often that he came back this way after the way he was forced to leave. Honestly while he did care about his old squad mates he really didn't have much of a reason to come back to his old squad most days. For the most part he was sure that they could at least handle themselves and weren't dying left and right when sent out as medical back up. Something that he had seen happen way too often when he was here, which was why he made it his mission to help train everyone so that they could actually fight.
However today was different, Wycliff actually had a reason to be here. Musuhina one of the few squad mates that he had kept in contact was going to actually be around the barracks today and he wanted to catch up for a bit. Given that they weren't in the same squad anymore it was hard to concordant to hang out. Last time they did he forgot how much the two of them drank because of a silly contest between the two of them. Either way he was looking forward to hanging out for a bit and to see how she had grown. He hadn't forgotten her goal of becoming a captain, he was just wondering how much stronger she had gotten.
