OOC: Sorry for short post, was like blleeeehhhh and brain dead at the same time now.
There was no point to it all. But, as the panther wanted to, Lisa revealed the way back. But, as it stood just as she left it, there was nothing to it but an empty lake. An empty lake with an empty nest in which Nesr used before when they were all together. Just images and references to life being there before, but now, no longer there. What resided there before, a home, a living, a Hive, all but now gone. What the Panther sought to find he will not as nothing else resided there but the nature around them. The sight of it all only angered Lisa all the more as the silence took over the scene. There was nothing there for the two. Despite having not know what human emotions were, the sense of dread and solitude, and anger. This was the atmosphere that Lisa resided in ever since their disappearance. "Silence. Hive iz...silent.." she repeated again and again. It is now that the Panther should realize what the girl meant about the hive being silent.
There was nothing more to it than that. "Hive... silent.. Humans... doing... Humans .... make Hive silent... " Lisa growled. "Make humanz pay.... Kill humanz... Hoomanz... be silent.."
Rafael followed the bee girl wondering just how much longer she was going to continue to be on edge around him. He wanted to heal her immediately from the wound that had been inflicted upon her by that Shinigami, but with her attention span and overly aggressive nature accompanied by the fact that she still didn't trust him Rafael figured that it was best to wait and see if she needed his help or not. When they finally reached the familiar lake Rafael could feel something was off before she even said anything. Although it looked the same as it had the first time he had been here right now it felt like something was missing, a part of the lake was gone.
That was when the bee began to speak once again and Rafael listened to everything that she said in the hopes of learning clues to what could have happened. It was pretty obvious what had happened here even before she began to speak again, but Rafael wanted to be sure he wasn't assuming anything. Just as he had thought though it seemed that the Shinigami had come to the lake and attacked not only the bee, but anyone else that could have been living here which he knew at least at one point had been the lizard who had helped him survive during the first encounter against the aggressive super power insects. She began to speak sadly once more as if her purpose was gone like she had nothing more to live for. "Anyone else get away?" Rafael asked her as he turned his head to look at her directly.
Did anyone else get away? That was a dumb and senseless question to ask the Hornet. The lake was empty, void of life. The soundless grave that stood before them was all that there remained of the beast pack of Umaroth. The giant lizard came and brought the Hornet into the pack, now only to be left alone with what remained. Those that use to linger around this lake were now all gone. Each one of them dispersed to their own desired direction, hoping to seek what would come to fill the emptiness that was left for them to wallow in. Lisa was of the same accord. With no leader, each of the Beastclan members scattered, following their natural instincts. What became of them she did not know, nor wished to know. As far as she was concerned, they were all traitors to the Hive; Umaroth as well.
The pack was small, but was made into a home. What was suppose to be a home became a grave. Everything that symbolized what Lisa had lost in her previous life. The Hive had gone numb, quiet, hollow. That was all that remained in the sights that the pair took in this day. Clouds gathered and turned the very scene gray. Those trees that surrounded them bristled with the cold air seeping into the territory. All that there was that of the utter loneliness that remained on the hollow ground of the Lizard's pack home. "Quiet.... All...gone..... Quiet..." Lisa responded to the Panther's question. Although broken, her wording couldn't be expressed any better as to what they saw in front of them.
Beyond the traitors and the scene before them, there was nothing left to say. Lisa had no words left to express beyond the fits of rage she had towards the Shinigami, and that of the pack. That was what made the Beastclan member buzz up into the tree line over the Panther. In the thickness of the dead trees, Lisa had made her home. A part of what made up her part of the entire Hive. The only space that appeared to be inhabited. The only part that actually had some form of life in the area of the patch of open land. "Hive..izzz....quiet... No noise.........No noIse.... Will....go.... Will leave...dead...Hive.." she said, taking a single look around before her wings resonated for lift off.
Rafael had come here to try and find the large lizard Beast that had helped him survive the first encounter against the large aggressive insect beasts. He wanted to know if the lizard had seen any of them again like Rafael had and wondered if they could figure out some way to work together to protect each other from them all. He now knew though that he was to late. The lizard like Rafael had started to form his own pack yet had been unlucky enough that the Shinigami had found them to early and now he was gone. Purple blood dripped down from Rafael's paws onto the grass as his claws pierced into his paws.
A friend was gone and once again it was because of the shinigami. Constantly pushing around those different than themselves for no other reason than their own self importance. How much longer did he have before they hunted him down once again and found Lolth and Zadora. Would he be strong enough to protect the both of them without leaving them behind by being killed himself? So many possible threats in this world and Rafael still only sought out the best option to keep those close to him safe and happy. As Lisa began to move away Rafael's attention snapped back to her. "Come to a loud place. Follow me and join a new hive." Rafael might not have said a lot, but at the moment he felt like Lisa would know that if she followed this feline she might find happiness once again.
Lisa didn't know what to make of it all. An easy decision obviously since there wasn't really anything that kept her bound to the lake anymore. What life lingered here was that of the howling wind and utter depression of it's sights. Completely and utterly cold to the skin. And no, it wasn't due to the wind either. The sounds of the rippling water of the lake lost its lush emphasis. Once were blooming trees with the season reverted back into hibernation. There was nothing left for Lisa but to take the fight to them. A soldier without a cause was no more than a brute seeking a for a purpose. Without knowing it, Lisa strove to continue on with what she had originally planned on doing.
Revenge.
The Humans were those that took things. They made the noise that took that of her own. By their hands did they silenced the Hive. Not just this one, but even the one before as well. Again and again her home was taken from her by their malicious hands. Too many times had it occurred. All the more reason why she would come to follow the Panther. If following meant it would bring her closer to the goal. Lisa would follow if it meant she can use the Panther, and his so called "hive." There wasn't much to it but to leave the dead scene behind her. Snapping her talons away from the dried bark beneath her, the buzzing wings aided in the girls lift as she watched down below waiting for the Panther to lead the way.
The expressions while hard to acknowledge let alone understand were in constant flux across the female bees face as Rafael finished speaking. He hadn't planned on offering anyone a place where he and his friends called their home. He had only come this far south in order to try and gather information on the large insect Beasts that seemed to be attacking anything they come across yet now he was willing to bring home a different type of insect who obviously was starting to be consumed by her rage. He could only hope that by being around Beasts who could grow to care about her perhaps she could find happiness again.
Based on how she was looking at him now along with how she moved from the tree he assumed that she accepted and was ready to be brought to her new home. "Alright then let's go . . . what's your name?" Rafael asked realizing now that he hadn't actually asked her about her name until just now. Once she would tell Rafael her name he'd grin and begin to walk back the long way West. "I am Rafael."
