Location: A Hard Rain pounds the area, nothing but open fields as far as the eye could see. Long yellow grass parched from a particularly dry summer fills the area, now drowning in the rain.
Special Conditions:
Circumstances: Timor is caught fighting off hollows by Luke, however after eliminating the threats, Luke is greeted with violence rather than gratitude.

She fucking Hated the Rain (Music)

As that wet deluge poured down around her, she couldn't help but feel a deep sense of unease as she ran through the field, panting softly as she stole a glance over her shoulder. Three of them were still alive. She had only managed to murder one of them, and she had snuck up on that one. She had managed to shove her claws into it's neck and paralize the thing before tearing into it's head with her claws. However, as it were, she found out that the thing hadn't been alone.

She already suffered a cut across her cheek from one of the things, and she had gotten almost blinded when one of them spat out a cloud of stinging gas, she had been running for a good while now, and thankfully the effects had worn off, but that didn't make them any less intimidating. Her only saving grace was that they weren't too enormous. As she stopped and dropped down to her knees in the grass, letting the tall plants hide her, she took a moment to peer around, trying to look as she suppressed her spiritual pressure, not that she had to much to begin with.

She could see them entering the field now, and she felt the electric hum of worry traveling up her spine as she knew that she didn't have a lot of time before they just started razing the area. She could only hope that the rain washed away her scent enough to the point that they wouldn't be able to find her. She swallowed audibly and shifted, her clawed hands digging into the mud as she watched from where she was, lowering herself down to the ground, trying not to make a noise.

It wasn't until a drop of saliva landed on her shoulder that she realized something was off. Her eyes went wide and she felt a sudden chill in her chest. Without even looking behind her, she dove forward, just as a massive claw tore a trench in the ground where she had been just moments before, her eyes wide as she spun about and saw that enormous monster starind down at her. And in her heart she wondered if this was how she was going to die.

What? That's IT?!

And to think I thought you were tough shit!

She suddenly paused, suddenly frozen as now she was hearing voices. And an irritated hiss filled her head. What a fucking.. ARGHH, goddammit. I am NOT gonna die because we don't have time for this! GET UP! Zeige DICH! The voice shouted, and in those last few words, as if possessed, Timor felt herself suddenly shouting, as a sudden....anger poured into her from every cell in her body. A heat that seemed to override all of the fear and confusion in her heart. A pure feeling that pulsed with the fire that coursed through her engines.

Affenkonig.

With a sudden burst of reiatsu, Timor's jacket burnt up, bursting into flame from her body as out of nowhere her doll manifested itself, that jacket blazing into view once again, this time worn by the voluptuous form of that monkey king. The Hollow that had been attacking her roared, hissing out as it lunged forward, it's massive claw set to slice down on them, a wicked grin burning it's way across Affen's features before she held out her hand, palm facing out at the incoming attack.

A massive burning fist suddenly manifested, catching the hollow off guard as that massive set of knuckles made completely out of magma suddenly slammed into that claw, and then plowed up, burning brilliantly as it burned through it's arm, and most of it's chest, obliterating the hollow from the waist up as that fist launched outward and into the air, eventually arcing and then landing off in the distance with a loud crash, collapsing into a pile of molten rock as the rain hissed angrily against the surface of it.

Timor felt amazed at the sight of the doll, her heart pounding in her chest as she watched them deal with the hollow all on their own. Amazed and wondering. Could she do that as well? Did she have the strength? And that answer came in the form of a hand suddenly grabbing her by her shirt, yanking her up and onto her feet as Affen shouted in her face. "Of course you can dumbass! Get up off that pretty little ass and FIGHT!" She shouted, spinning Timor around before stepping in beside them, her fists up as the other hollows moved in.

There were still the three that had been chasing her from before. And now they DEFINITELY knew where she was. Timor felt her insides suddenly grow hot. And she felt... angry. Angry that she had been running from these things. angry that she was so weak to begin with. Angry that she had almost got done in by some fucking monster. She felt ashamed, and most of all hotheaded. Something about Affen being there beside her. It felt...right. and it got her pumped. Even as four more hollows emerged from the forest behind them. Spelling disaster, even with the firepower that Affen could offer.

Looks like his curiosity had paid off. He'd just been riding by, looking to get home, when he had suddenly felt the reiatsu at the distant borders of his own sensory capabilities. He'd requested an emergency stop, something the bus driver didn't take kindly, but Luke didn't stick around long enough to apologize. He dashed off into the darkness of the woods. Moving at his speeds it didn't take him long to find what he was sensing. It didn't take long at all. In fact, what he found almost surprised him. The Bount approached from behind Timor and her Doll. He didn't necessarily try to hide his presence, but with the torrential downpour, the dark of night, and the fight taking place he sorta just ended up being nearly unnoticed. Nearly. Plus wearing that thick, dark colored, rain coat with its hood up didn't help make him noticeable either.

But while Timor and her Doll didn't notice him, the seven Hollows did rather quickly. Each of their heads moved to look at the man approaching Timor from behind. His face hidden behind a veil of shadow created by the combination of the hoods shade, the night, and the waterfall of rain water coming off his head. A sheathed sword was held in his hand, which the Hollows noticed pretty quickly. But was it the sword they were hissing at...or the hooded figure? But Luke's attention wasn't focused on them. It was focused on the pair of asses ahead of him. Well, it wasn't Luke who focused on their asses at first. Jäger decided to make mention of them. Luke just happened to look because they were mentioned. "Fuckin dumbass..." Luke whispered to himself, scolding Jäger for his perverse attitude.

Ever since that night he'd been different. Ever since that fight he'd been different. He headed the words spoken to him by that unknown voice. Ever since all those people died because of his fight, those deaths he had to carry on his shoulders, Luke had been different. The Hollows hissed louder, before erupting into a series of howls as they turned their attention away from their original prey and towards something far, far, more tantalizing. Luke's attention shifted from the women and towards the seven drooling monsters. "You assholes sure are loud.." Luke mumbled quietly, shaking his head softly for a moment before suddenly, those Hollows froze. They froze, utterly, and completely...in nothing more than sheer terror. "You should leave or..." Came his words, now speaking over the downpour from the heavens.

The aura emitting from him was, without a doubt, overwhelming. An aura of such intense bloodlust that it made the Hollows look like angry chickens in comparison. If Timor and her Doll turned around, they would see the hooded figure and be subjecting to that same aura of fear as the Hollows. What the Hollows were experiencing, the fear they were facing, was the same sort of fear they induced on anybody unlucky enough to be on the receiving end of their attention. The aura of intimidation they were facing from Luke was delivering a single message into their skulls. A message spoken to them by their very instincts. Those amber eyes spoke the words just as well. I'll eat you!

Sure enough, the sound of stampeding fleeing Hollows was heard as the seven turned tail and fled like their lives depended on it. Now alone, with Timor and her Doll, the amber eyed Bount returned his gaze to them. Raising an eyebrow, Luke looked Timor up and down. She was certainly the type of girl he liked, but those hands caught his attention more so than her ass or chest. "So...there was another Bount in Karakura, huh?" Luke commented to himself and his Dolls more than Timor. Turning his attention to her Doll, he eyed it as well. "I wasn't aware Dolls could take on such human-like forms. That's surprising." Luke commented, before returning those cold, amber, eyes to Timor. "They've both got such lovely titties!" Jäger laughed. Ones you wont get to touch.

He kept his attention on Timor, the amber eyed Bount simply looked at the halfling as the rain continued to come down around them. The full details of his face were still rather hidden behind the shade of the hood, but those eyes seemed to just glow in the night. "Are you hurt at all?" Luke suddenly asked, noticing the cut on her cheek. She seemed weak. Was this her first time summoning her Doll? Looking at her Luke could...just tell. He could sense how little reiatsu she possessed, how pitifully weak it was even compared to his own. "Not far from here is my home. It's pretty warm and dry. Would you like to get out of this mess or just drown out here?" Luke asked. Despite what he'd been through, his kindness was still there. Luke had simply...decided to begin being what he really was.

Timor paused when she noticed the hollows suddenly halting their attack, and for just a moment, she grinned. Imagining that the sight of their dead comrade must have instilled some sort of hesitation in them. That the sudden gorefest of the hollow would have caused them to back down from the fight. But it was t hen that she noticed Affen had turned around, and she glanced over her shoulder to see that hooded figure. And suddenly she felt...uneasy.

The sudden wave of murderous intent hit her as well, and the way he stood, the shift in his body language. When he hit the hollows with it, Timor felt just a sliver of it, her own skin crawling as she was reminded.... of the beast she'd fought before. Back home. She felt her throat run dry in response to the aura and she took a step back, even though Affen took a step forward, a slow grin spreading across the Monkey's face, suddenly lighting up. "Fee fie Foe Fum, I smell the dicks of HIDING DOLLS! Eve! This guy's a Vampire!" She suddenly called out, looking excitedly to Timor before clapping her hands.

Timor herself balked at that, her eyes a little wide. And she felt a slight goosebump along her skin at his words. Back to his place... She had a lot of scummy places she lived. But most of it, when she worked at that club, she recognized the meaning behind certain words. And it occurred to her. This guy was strong. Too strong. Too strong for her liking. The way those hollows backed down. What if he tried some shit? She didn't even notice the look of surprise and concern on Affen's face then Timor suddenly gritted her teeth, her lips peeling back.

"Bount? You're only half right fuckboy." She growled, those eyes glowing softly as those hands of hers clenched into clawed fists, and her spiritual pressure rose, her reiatsu flaring slightly as she felt a slight hiss in her arms. She felt an urge to do....something. But what? She didn't know any techniques. She didn't even know a step yet, and she felt very...vulnerable. and unlike Beast, this wasn't a guy she could just latch onto and butcher with her claws.

"Eve what's up?" the doll asked, looking perplexed for a moment as Timor suddenly growled. " Affen! Get him!" she shouted, and stood back, dropping back into the grass, attempting to hide herself. Thankfully Luke would get a sudden surprise. An afterimage of pure fire left behind as very rapidly, Affen vanished and appeared right before Luke, aworried look on her face as she faced him. Orders were Orders. even if the guy seemed rather cool, her master felt threatened.

And In her hand, reality hissed in pain as her bo staff screeched into reality, burning it's way into the monkey's hand before it was spun and aimed to slam in and hit Luke in the center of the chest with that bow, a very faint glow forming in the fur lining of her clothing in response to when Timor had moved. Of course the magma staff itself didn't move all that fast, as both Timor and Affen were laughably slow in comparison to Luke. But it was still magma, and bits of it flicked from it's length as it was swung.

Timor herself was trying to think of what to do. She considered all of her options. Should she run like the hollows? No that was just stupid. He would just chase her down when she was tired. Too many memories of overcurious hands. She needed to kill him. This guy was no arrancar, and no quincy. Affen had said herself, he smelled of dolls. That meant he had a physical body. It meant she could hurt him, and kill him. She just needed to catch him off guard.

She'd kill him just like she'd planned on killing that beast. She'd use her claws to carve into his chest, and rip his heart out. She could never trust him to keep her secret. Sh could never trust him to just leave her alone if she somehow DID manage to beat him. In that fightened, panicked mind, with just a hint of hypothermia from the rain tacked on, she didn't see any way she could spare this...whatever he was.

Because she knew exactly what bounts were. She knew they were vampires. And that she was a demon. Corrupted. And she knew that her kind was not accepted. By Humans. By Soul Society. By Anyone. If he was playing nice, something was up. She didn't know, and she didn't care what it was. But the only person she could rely on was herself. And no charming vampire was going to change her mind about it. Not until he had a stake in his chest where his heart used to be.

Beneath that hood those brows furrowed into a rather intense v. The Doll made itself the center of the attention by rewording a nursery rhyme and wanting to scream out about how it could smell his Dolls dicks. Luke was pretty sure his Dolls didn't even have dicks. "I wish I had a dick. I wanna fuck that monkey!" Jäger cried out, earning himself a mental sigh from the Bount. Luke could already tell that the situation was going to change into something he probably wasn't going to like. Also Affen calling him a vampire hit a rather sour spot. The Doll seemed excited though. Kind of like a female version of Jäger, though she didn't seem as sexual assaulty. Even so, Luke found himself looking a little too much at both Affen's and Eve's lady parts for his own liking. Jäger certainly enjoyed it, but Luke really didn't want to be caught looking.

Unfortunately though, the situation was turning sour. "Hmm?" he mumbled, confused, when Affen had turned to ask the girl named Eve what was wrong. Luke was only half right? Just what was...oh for fucks sake. Just as Luke was going to open his mouth to say something, this fledgling Bount decided to sick her Doll on him. Great. Did Luke do something? What, exactly, did he do wrong here? He'd come by, like a good samaritan, and helped out the damsel in distress. Sure he looked at her tits, but when girls hung them out like that it was because they wanted guys to look! Was it because of his use of Cog? Had Eve been hit harder by that wave of intimidation he used to scare off the Hollows than he thought? Sure he hadn't directed it at her, but he might have messed up its usage and hit her full blast with it. Though if he had she wouldn't be wanting to fight what so ever. Hmm. Maybe there was another problem at play here. "Idiot."

Regardless, Luke didn't think he had the time to stress over the whys. The Doll called Affen was on the move, vanishing in a burst of flame only to reappear in front of the senior Bount. So she was a fire powered Doll? Granted he probably figured that out having walked into their battle and seen the attack Affen launched against the Hollow, but that instance could have just been a fire attack and not the entire theme of the Doll. Was using a fire type Doll in this environment really wise however? "I'd be much more effective than the rain." Springflut wanted to fight? That was rare. "Don't get the wrong idea, idiot. I'm just curious." Well he could take a back seat on this for now. Luke didn't need Springflut killing these two.

He couldn't help but notice that look on Affens face, however, when she reappeared in front of him. Worry? The Doll was worried? Immediately Luke was reminded of the first time he had summoned Jäger. When he first made contact with the Doll his own life had been in danger, and in a rare turn of events Jäger had been the one who knew more about what was going on and how to deal with it than the Bount did. Was this another case? Did Affen realize how bad an idea it was to attack Luke, unlike her master? An attack was coming his way, one that he needed to respond to. A bo staff, made of actual magma, was aiming to slam itself right into his chest. Luke was no genius, but considering Eve's, well, weakness he couldn't imagine the Doll being much stronger than the Master.

Luke decided to respond to the attack with a defensive measure, rather than opting for offense or evasion. As Affen swung her staff, Luke's hand was in motion at a speed far exceeding the monkey kings own. His left hand opened itself up, as a construct of pure reiatsu was formed in a mere instant. It looked like a shield, but large enough to easily cover up Luke's entirety to keep him safe from the staff and any spilling magma. Luke had decided to use Advanced Air Arsenal to create himself a wall like shield in order to protect himself. He'd decided to be safe and use a Class 4 version, which granted the panel a defensive value of about 375 which was well over Affens own Offensive Stat. Being two classes greater than Affen herself meant that the Doll was going to need to put out a lot more power to get through the shield.

Considering the weapon lock, Luke decided to offer some advice. "It's impressive that your Doll is so subservient despite being so recently born. At least I'm assuming that's the case." He was speaking to both Affen and the apparently trying to hide but doing a terrible job at it Eve. "I'm not quite sure what I did to warrant being attacked...but let me make something clear to both of you. If a Doll loses its life, what do you think happens to the Bount?" He was being serious as well. If Luke killed Affen, Even would share the same fate. Would Luke do it? Even he wasn't sure. But if he was backed into a corner with no way out other than killing them? Then maybe. He didn't see the situation getting that bad however. Perhaps he'd use this as an opportunity to just mess around. Blow off some steam.

His amber eyes softly glowed in the dark as he cast his gaze to the weapon lock he was in. Luke decided to show Affen, and Eve as well, that he might have very well been able to take them both on without using his own Dolls. Advanced Air Arsenal suddenly ended, but Luke didn't remain standing to be swung at once again. He vanished completely from both Affen and Eve's sight, only to suddenly reappear closer to Affen...but had used that opportunity to attack. His right arm flung itself forward, sword in hand. His sword, still sheathed, had its butt rammed right into Affens own perfect stomach. He'd approached and attacked at 3x his own speed using Movement, but had decided to hold back a considerable amount of his strength in that jab. He only used, more or less, a half of what he was capable of right now. He hit her in the gut with 100 strength, which considering how piss poor her own Strength stat was would probably leave her gasping and gagging. Or throwing up whatever fluids were inside a humanish girl Doll.

"You're tough, right? You can take it. Can't you, monkey?" Luke asked Affen before backing away from her, getting about ten paces away and simply standing there, watching her. Why not. Not like he had better things to do than smack around a pair of hotties. Granted they attacked him but...whatever. It was going to be like slapping preschoolers around. "HOT preschoolers!" the Doll chimed in. I'd rather not use hot and preschooler in the same sentence, okay? Luke asked Jäger.

The sudden surge of motion from luke did catch Affen off guard, and it surprised her. Incredibly so. Because both her and Timor had been so much stronger. They had been practically unbeatable before her father had corrupted them with his dark ritual. Sure Timor herself was weakened, but Affen had not expected her own abilities to reset as well, and when Luke shouted out to Timor that she might die, Timor narrowed her eyes. She knew damn well about that.

She knew that if her doll was defeated, that she was screwed. She'd seen it happen. She'd seen what could happen, she'd done it to other bounts before. To her own displeasure, and that of Bailarina's. She'd been the one that usually killed Bounts for her. And in the pit of her stomache, she missed the woman. A feeling that no doubt would insult Affen if the monkey knew about it, she probably would find out once she was desummoned.

However her attention jarred back up when she heard Luke slam into Affen, the monkey grunting in pain as she doubled over, gritting her teeth as that handle slammed into her abs and knocked the wind out of her. Her body shuddering before glancing back up, just as there would be a spiritual blip far away, but it wasn't an attack, it was as if something had run away. Affen, still seeming to be infront of Luke, would glance up and smirk. "You got a strong hand there buddy. I wonder if your hips are too." She growled menacingly, but in a very provocative manner. The moment Luke had used that sudden speed to close in on her, the fur lining in Affen's clothing had suddenly glowed incredibly bright, even in the hard rain, they seemed charged up. (+600 Heat)

Before Luke went ant backed up, or at least in the midst of him doing so, the clone that had sent him that little snipe suddenly detonated, a sudden massive pillar of fire bursting from her body, twenty meters high and five meters in every direction suddenly blasted with bright fire, attempting to at least snag Luke slightly with the edges of the explosion, all the while the Real Affen was clutching at her navel, panting softly as she was backed up.

That Bo Staff has suddenly shrank, down to the size of a scroll in her palm as she panted and did her best to recover from the attack, and what was more, now Timor was furious. She rose to her feet, her own rage swelling within her, but suddenly dampened by a sudden, cold focus that hit her like a ton of bricks. That angry face vanished, and the most cold, unfeeling look she could muster was now on her face, standing straight up as she focused on the fight occurring. Trying her best to keep up with what was going on.

She felt...different. Something about the danger had kicked her into some old forgotten habbit. She was glaring at Luke, with a cold, determined look. As if that rage had simply been smothered by the change in attitude. Those clawed hands crackled as very xsubtly, the black, glassy skin began creeping up her forearms, heading for her elbows as it crawled and spread up her body, and Timor's heart pounded away in her chest.

Not just because Luke was already outmatching Affen, but because of the fact that he probably had dolls too. And those dolls were probably just waiting to be let out, primed and no doubt ready to take them out. All it'd take is some sort of stealth doll to do her in, and were she not so consumed by that cold mood, she would likely have been sweating despite the pouring rain. She was terrified. IT was clear this guy was too strong. But she had to hope he would get careless and be taken out.

{Big Volcano Step}Affen sheds some fur from the lining of her jacket, and the hairs instantly vaporize. In that instant, Affen is replaced seamlessly with a clone afterimage made of fire, though by expending at least 600 Heat, Affen can cause this clone to appear exactly like herself, the only way of discerning this clone being to feel it's flame, requiring 200 ES or with 150 Senses if the target has at least two skill points in Battle Focus, Focused Eye, or a Movement skill (Hoho, Sonido). During this replacement, Affen steps at 6x her normal speed. On arrival, the clone detonates, causing a massive vertical eruption with a height of 20 meters and a 5 meter radius. Costs 200 reiatsu for the full technique, or 30 reiatsu for just the step without the use of the clone or eruption.

An eyebrow was raised as he turned back around to look at Affen when she made her comment. A small smirk painted itself on his lips before he replied with "Here's hoping you don't quit on me halfway through." Maybe he could have some fun with this. At least it was better than them screaming about how they were going to kill him. But something wasn't right. In the tall grass Luke spotted the glow of Timor's jacket. Luke had also felt a shift in spiritual pressure. As if Affen had suddenly...run away? But she was here. Right in front of him. Unless it was...oh Shit! She suddenly glowed brightly, as if a light bulb, and then erupted into a brilliant pillar of firey destruction. A tower of flame. Twenty meters high and five meters around. A rather destructive technique at that. "PRAISE THE FIRE GOD!"

Affen had a good technique. Her own Step Attack was something worth being impressed over, but it wasn't anything that Luke was horribly surprised about, his own Dolls had things like this. He'd been surprised at how the technique worked, rather than the fact it existed. But, well, perhaps much to Timor and Affens displeasure he was still very much alive. Luke was nothing if not quick witted. He'd been able to spot the glow of Timor's coat, which immediately clued him in that something was up. Granted the heat building and Big Volcano Step were completely separate abilities, it had still put him on guard. Second was the sudden shift Luke felt from Affen. He didn't have the ES yet to tell him that the clone was a clone, but he did have the ES to tell him that Affens original source of reiatsu had suddenly moved.

How Luke dodged, though, was rather simple. He'd realized an attack was coming, though he wasn't sure what it was, and had acted when Affen had begun to detonate. For the first time since he'd learned how to use it, Luke used a Step Technique that wasn't Movement to dodge. He felt Movement wasn't going to be fast enough, so he instinctively used Schiene instead. While Movement was a step that attuned the physical body to the reiatsu in the air, Schiene was different. It, essentially, going from point A and B. You collected reiatsu under your feet, and basically rode a rail to where you wanted to go. Well, Luke wanted to go to where Affen was, but first he needed to avoid that explosion.

So he moved backwards. While he created a curved rail to get to Affen, he was instead going backwards first to outrun the explosion by moving at 5x his normal speed (1000) before he would curve and veer off around the explosions radius, and stop when he reached his location behind Affen. That sheathed sword was held upwards when he reappeared, before it would come down with as much strength as before and slam itself into Affens backside, aiming to send her down into the mud and wet grass. Luke would look down at the Doll, exhaling softly from his nostrils. She'd managed to force him to use Schiene. He was happy to get some use out of the technique. But he'd need to pay closer attention to that step technique.

The Bount turned his attention to the halfling. Those amber eyes narrowed within the shade of that hood as he watched her grow ever more angry. But that look in her eyes betrayed the anger. Oh she was pissed. He could tell she was pissed. But he recognized that look in her eyes. Cold, hard, determination. It brought a small smile to his face. But he didn't fail to notice what was happening to her hands. A black glossy surface was creeping up her arms, similar to what was all over her hands. Always something weird in this world. "Luuuuuke I wanna play with the monkey!" Jäger whined, but was ignored by the Bount. He simply looked at Timor, but his attention was still very much on Affen.

"So...are you capable of doing anything?" Luke suddenly asked, the question directly aimed at Timor as the Bount tilted his head lightly to the side. "Or are you just some one trick pony?" Luke asked with a sigh, a coldness creeping along his words that seemed didn't seem right for him to have. He was beginning to get bored all of a sudden. Like a cat playing with his food and then suddenly becoming disinterested. Luke was even considering just summoning Jäger out to deal with them, much to the Dolls enjoyment. Honestly he could just leave, but he at least wanted to teach this chick a lesson in manners. You don't suddenly attack someone who saves you and offers to take you to a club that was warm and had food and drink. Wasn't like Luke was propositioning her for some much needed sex.

Technique Description and Effects:
Schiene allows the user to move from one place to another by gathering Reiatsu particles under their feet and connecting it to Reiatsu at a location that the user wishes to go to. The user then rides the invisible path of Reiatsu connected between the two, until they reach their destination. Initially, this technique can only be used to travel in straight lines, allowing the user to move at 6x Speed from the first point to the next. At mastery, this straight-line movement increases to 7x Speed. However, at mastery, another trick becomes available; at this point, a Bount can create curved rails rather than straight lines. While they cannot move at sharp ninety-degree turns, they can gradually curve up to a maximum of that full ninety degrees when traveling from one point to the next. Because curved paths require a little more focus to maneuver along, speed is reduced to 5x along these curved paths in exchange for versatility of greater movement range. A straight-line rail costs 50 Reiatsu per use, while a curved rail costs 100 Reiatsu to use.

Finally, this technique is modified further by the True Bount technique Vok Sheit, which gives the user a greater mastery of the manipulation of spiritual particles. This technique, if active while Schiene is being used, increases the movement speed of Schiene by 2x for each different method of movement (8x for non-mastered straight-line, 9x for mastered straight-line, and 7x for curved). Additionally, this technique does not take up a technique slot.

How to use technique:
The user must first create a platform of Reiatsu under their feet and then think of where they want to go, which is where the platform of Reiatsu will connect to. From there, they ride the platform of Reiatsu to its new location.

Drawback:
The drawback to this technique is that the user must stick to the path of reiatsu that they created. They cannot deter from it at all, and at lower levels this leaves them open and their attacks able to be easily tracked since they move in a straight line. As they grow more proficient with this technique, they are harder to track.

[Eve Timor]

Shit. Affen could see the bount, her own Battle Focus kept her primed, her eyes locked onto him for just a few measley seconds. For just an instant she saw hs general direction, her eyes even tracked him for a small ammount, but as soon as he changed direction she lost him, immediately tensing up as she braced herself for the attack. This time Luke was striking her with that sheath, however he would likely notice that her body was not bruised, even as she was slammed powerfully into the ground with a heavy THUNK, that flesh of hers seemed to take the attack fairly well, except for a bit of her flesh that had....cracked. A layer of skin simply crumbling away rather than bruising, and Luke would see another layer beneath it. (+1000 Heat from Luke's Movement, +100 from Reiatsu use)

The Monkey was made out of spiritual stone, so she didn't bruise or break like a normal being, but rather that soft, plush flesh of hers when struck hard enough revealed her true material making. His held-back strength wasn't enough to destroy her, and it was clear that her body was a lot tougher than normal, much more than Timor's probably was to be certain. The Monkey even smiled as her glowing fur-lining weakened, as if that blow had taken some of the energy out of her body.

However in actuality, she was just using it. That tiny scroll-sized staff in her hand suddenly exploded up and in the direction of Luke's chest at an incredible speed several times his own (550), that staffstill made completely out of magma as it aimed to slam into his chest as it expanded, aiming to try and plow clean through his left shoulder as that narrow beam of molten lava would attempt to pierce him, bursting out to a full four meters in length in the span of almost an instant. (-800 heat for 4 Meter length increase, flat 200 reiatsu cost for expansion)

Immediately after she vanished, once again relying on her Big Volcano step as fire took her place, the Monkey appearing beside Timor and grunting softly, reaching out and planting her hand on the woman. And that heat emptied out entirely, flowing into Timor as Affen dumped the rest of the heat she'd built up into Timor. "Cheer up Kiddo. I'll do all the fighting, you just need to stay put. and as for YOU!" She pointed at Luke.

A slow smirk crossed her features as she eyed the Bount, her smugness unaffected by wether or not her attack earlier had been successful or not. She pounded her chest with her fist proudly, swelling with her own warrior vigor. She had heard that comment about only one trick, and she'd been insulted. The very IDEA of the man faulting her wielder for her weakness?! He was way stronger than her! And she was disgusted by his attitude. That pompous tone, that bored voice. "You think you can just act like some kinda big tough shinigami?! Can't you tell she's SCARED?!" Timor blinked, and suddenly glared at her Doll.

"Sorry boy, but I've got more than one trick up my sleeve! You have to STOP being such an ass-" FWOOMPH! that sudden burst of flame as Affen completely vanished. But, despite the fact that Luke would probably think she had used a step technique, Timor had actually desummoned her her, sealing her back into Jacket form, as the woman panted a little, and that voice screamed in her head. WHAT THE FUCK?! ARE YOU CRAZY?! He's Gonna Kill you! CALM DOWN! You don't have to fight him!

The heat pumped into her put some vigor back into her body. Namely in the form of reiatsu. (700 Heat transfered, 140 Reiatsu recovered by Timor) She narrowed her eyes at Luke. She SHOULD have kept Affen out. She could tank hits AND just sit around and build heat to recover Timor's reiatsu. But she couldn't let Affen keep running her mouth. The anger was gone. And a cold, heartless look crossed ver her features as she felt...oddly...clear.

As if some sort of information had just sortof slipped into her skull. Just as black, glassy armor grew out under her left eye like some sort of hollow mask fragment, slithering across the skin as the black glass crawled up her left arm all the way up her shoulder, and suddenly the air in the viscinity of her body suddenly grew cold. In a 20 meter radius, all of the tall grass aronud her instantly shattered as her passive ability froze it to death, causing it to form a floor of black ice.

A chain that had been invisibly wrapped around her arm suddenly dissolved, vanishing completely as it reformed in Timor's hand, forming a black ice bow in her hand. Her claws serrated and she shook with the anger that was being pushed down inside of her, smothered by this new mood swing. She raised the bow at Luke and suddenly an Arrow screeched into existence, ice warping as it materialized into her hand, already strung into the bow before it fired at Luke.

She expected some sort of answer to it. For him to smack it away, for him to dodge it, or for him to go around it and attack her. And she was ready. Her eyes locked onto the bount as she waited for any sign of his defense or evasion. The arrow would fly true with the strength of her own power, aimed right at the center of his chest. And bracing herself for his response. That fear coiled in her stomach.

So she wasn't made out of flesh and blood then, huh? Like she's made of stone or clay...like a clay furnace. He commented to himself mentally as he inspected the damage he had done to Affen. He was well aware she wasn't dead. Her body still glowed with life and reiatsu when he looked at her with his Energy Sensory. Those glowing eyes blinked before noticing that scroll shaped object in her hand suddenly explode with size. So that's what it was. It was fast. Way too fast for Luke to dodge on his own. But he vanished from where he was standing, using a normal straight line Schiene to appear about eight meters away from where he had been standing just as Affen detonated with another Volcano Clone.

A normal, non curved, Schiene was actually faster than the non curving version. 7x the Bount's speed rather than 5x. So he simply dodged her again, reappearing a good seven meters away watching the pillar of fire. Useful technique. Even had herself a very good Doll. He was impressed with just how well behaved she was as well. Also flirting helped win him over a little. "Still as thirsty as ever." Springflut sighed. Better than her screaming how she wants to kill me. Luke replied back as he returned his gaze to Timor and Affen. But before he could do anything he actually blinked with surprise, his eyes widening, when Affen called him out directly. He watched that smirk paint itself across the Doll and begin pounding her chest. She was a very prideful, smug, Doll.

Luke liked that. He liked it when things had a lot of personality. Better than talking to a rock. Or Aevus. "Pftheh." He was suddenly being called out. He was compared to a Shinigami. Well, in truth, Luke was rather Shinigami like. He was trained BY a Shinigami. He incorporated a lot of Aevus's fighting style into his own attacks. But that wasn't what she was getting at. Clearly Shinigami was being used as an insult here. But what caught his attention, that caused his mouth to open a little in shock, was the confession that Eve was scared. Those amber eyes widened further with surprise, before drifting to the Bount now staring at her Doll. She was scared?

His eyes remained fixed on Timor as that realization just hit him like a professional baseball player hit a home run. Her response made sense now. She said barely anything to him since this fight started. She attacked him out of the blue...it made sense. Luke was a stranger who was so much stronger than her. Yeah, he scared off those Hollows, but he did so in a way that probably hit Timor with that fear as well. Luke never thought about that. He just thought Timor needed, you know, a little smacking around to calm her down. But to hear the Doll confess to Luke that its master was scared, and that this situation was escalating because he was being an asshole? I'm an idiot..

He had let it go to his head. He let those instincts take over. When Timor desummoned her Doll, Luke had removed the hood from his head so Timor could see his full face. Immediately his head was drenched, but the look of "I fucked up" was clear as day on his features. Even if Timor had started all of this, Luke hadn't helped much at all. He only escalated the situation. "Look...I..." Luke began to say, but then blinked when he saw what was happening to Timor. Actually...just what the fuck WAS happening to her? "Luke. Don't lower your guard. You can tell can't you?" Springflut warned. Yeah...this isn't a Bounts power.

The feeling was completely different as he watched Timor transform. He could see his own breath due to the drop in temperature. He narrowed his eyes and, instinctively, his right hands thumb pressed up against the guard of his Zanpakuto, unsheathing just a tiny portion of it. This...might call for him to step it up a notch. He could feel Jägers excitement, but he would continue to deny the Doll. He wouldn't use Jäger against this. Luke watched as a bow was formed during her transformation. Just what was this power? Everything had grown so cold that even the grass beneath them had become frozen and shattered. What had that chain been?

The bow was aimed at him, and an arrow created from seemingly nothing was fired at him. Luke frowned. With lightning quick speed, he drew the Zanpakuto and said the words. "Cast away, Mūnran'nā!" a light consumed the blade of the transformed sword that was accompanied by the release of a difficult to see wave of energy that slammed itself into the arrow heading his way. Mūnran'nā was capable of firing waves of energy that had a power equaling 2x Luke's Speed and 3x his Strength (total 1000). The force slammed into the arrow and, if it didn't just destroy it completely, would send the thing hurtling through the air with all the power behind it gone. Timor didn't have to worry, though, about any extra force heading her way. It had all been focused on that arrow.

Luke, however, came to realize something. Even if Timor WAS afraid. Even if Luke had escalated the situation, they were now in dangerous waters. Luke was facing off against a force he'd never faced before. One that, frankly, sent a really bad chill down his spine. He had no reason to believe that, in whatever transformed state that this was, she was going to just let him go. So Luke did what he needed to do. He hardened. He froze that human heart of his over. And then he moved. Once again he used Schiene to approach. At 7x his normal speed, approaching was very easy. It's what came next that wasn't. He got within reach of Timor. Whether or not she was able to react to him suddenly getting so close was on her, just as it was on her to react when that flash of light passed by her eyes. His Zanpakuto swung. Like a bolt of lightning it went through the air. But what did he swing at? Well, the one thing she had that needed to be dealt with. Her arm. Luke had aimed that swing to take off her bow wielding transformed limb. "HAHA HOLY WHAT!" Jäger screamed in excitement, if what Luke had done was successful.

When she noticed that sudden burst of force, she felt her spine tingle. STOP! That sudden shout hit her like a truck, and just as that arrow exploded before te wave of force could hit it, shooting out in every direction, reforming after the wave of force had passed, Timor had her aim skewed. that Arrow reformed behind the wave and then sped past Luke, missing because of Timor's doll's sudden shout, her eyes wide as she gritted her teeth. WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? STOPPING YOU! He doesn't wanna hurt y-

And suddenly Luke was upon her. Timor blinked, staring as that sword rose, it's blade gleaming in the light of thunder that rolled off in the distance, just as it swept down. The sudden bite of her body being injured, and then nothing. Timor was just staring at her own missing Left arm, and her oen gaze locked onto Luke, with how close he was. And it felt like an eternity. For those tiny miliseconds her head was silent, until that voice came very soft in her mind. ....I stand corrected.

POW! Immediately after her arm hit the ground, her left eye twitched and she fired her Kaite Starren, an invisible bullet of reiatsu that would slam into Luke's own left shoulder, before exploding into a massive burst of 15 cubic meters of ice, attempting to encapsule the entirety of his left arm in that ice, and hopefully, with his lack of spiritual defense there, shatter it, and everything fifteen meters behind it as she sought to obliterate the man. Her old battle instincts kicking her in the teeth as she staggered back as blood spurted from her new stump.

The cold was gone. The anger was done. She should have been more concerned with if he got hit. The attack was very fast. And at point blank range there was no reason it would be something that missed, it was even invisible to the normal eye, it was only slightly visible to those with high es or senses, and though Luke did fit the paramaters, he wouldn't have a lot of time to focus on the thing that he could only barely see. But in truth... she was focused elsewhere.

Her arm was gone. And shock was flowing through her body like a slow-spreading ice. But before that could happen. Before she could fee the cold embrace of unconsciousness slip over her like a veil. She clutched at that arm. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAA!" That visceral scream that would seem to drown out even the rain, the absolute agony in her voice, even WITH Shock, even WITH her tolerance to pain, the agony still hit her like a truck, and the paper-thin resistances she had stood no chance, she screamed for a full twenty seconds before that voice finally gave out.

She stared, directly ahead, her vision swirling as in the back of her mind, Affen was screaming, shouting at her to stay awake. To stay focused. To stay alive. But There was so much blood. She didn't even realize she HAD this much blood. It was all over the left side of her body, and she just....stared at it, even while the world spun and her face hit the ground. Even as the sand man took her to somewhere without any pain or missing limbs, there was still that tiny voice. Shaking. Scared in the back of her mind.

At this stage, her aspect of hell manifests in her eyes. Whenever Reptillia focuses her gaze on a target, she can cause an invisible pulse of her spiritual power, similar to a bala, to fire from her eyes. Upon hitting the targeted area, the spot immediately erupts in a massive torrent of freezing black water, engulfing it's surroundings before freezing, forming Black Ice with a durability equal to 100% of her offensive stat. This invisible pulse travels at 500 speed. This costs 200 Reiatsu and produces a volume of 15 cubic meters of Black Ice, and 30 cubic meters of Ice at Segunda Etapa.
These pulses of reiatsu are normally undetectable, but can be sensed by having 100 in senses and ES (Or 200 in either).

When you're in the heat of the moment you never get the chance to think about whether or not what you're doing is right. That's why it's called in the heat of a moment. A single second of thought can get you killed. When you see reports on the news about cops shooting people, you always hear people say "but you should have waited!" What they never understand is the cops don't have the luxury of waiting. A single second is all it takes for someone to either kill or be killed. That's what happened to Luke. He made a decision based off of the limited information he had. He didn't have the time to stop and think "should I do this" when he was facing off against a power he knew nothing about and, to be frank, gave him way too many bad feelings. Nothing he did, though, was something he felt good about.

Like a hot knife through butter his Zanpakuto went through flesh, blood, demon bits, without any trouble. Having frozen his heart over to do so, the look in his eyes in those moments were something intense. He didn't feel good at all about what he just did. His eyes met hers, and in that instant he noticed something. A surge of power in her left eye followed by it twitching. Luke tried to dodge. Really he did. But he couldn't get his left arm out of the way in time. Above the elbow his arm was struck with that freezing bullet, causing his own eyes to widen as he felt the cold chill surging its way through muscles and bone. Having moved, and his arm having been outstretched, Luke was spared the sudden explosion of ice from consuming his body.

The Bount turned to look at what had happened to his arm before the icy prison it was stuck in suddenly exploded, taking his arm with it in tiny bits and pieces. Slowly his eyes widened even more. Time seemed to stand still as he looked at the stub that remained of his left arm. Choking on a gasp, Luke suddenly let out that yell when the pain hit him. His arm was gone. His arm was gone! His fucking arm was gone! "What the dick tips was that?!" Jäger shouted as Luke dropped his sword and grabbed onto the stub. "Idiot! You let yourself get careless! Look what you've done to yourself!" Springflut yelled. Shut up. Shut up shut up shut up! He didn't need to hear this. He didn't need to hear this from them.

Growling, Luke slammed his jaws shut as the sweats began to break out. He wasn't going to go into shock. No. Fuck that. He wouldn't die here in a fucking mud soaked field and become fertilizer for a bunch of fucking weeds! Focus. Focus! Focus! Luke reached out. He reached out for the ambient reiatsu in the air. It was hard. Harder than it had ever been. It had never been so hard to maintain a grip over the reiatsu and pull it into himself. As he did so the bleeding stump, slowly, began to heal. New flesh began to cover over the wound. It still hurt. The nerves were still screaming in pain. "Aaaaagh come on you fuck!" Luke shouted at himself, trying to maintain focus over Immortality Drink. His arm was gone! It was actually fucking gone! "Focus!"

Didn't take long for the healing to finish. Luke let out a gasp and grabbed at the newly fleshed stump. My arm...my fucking...god damn arm! My arms fucking gone! Luke panicked, before those amber eyes locked onto the seemingly comatose Timor. It was all her fault. It was all her stupid idiot fault! Peeling his lips back into a snarl to reveal those teeth, Luke cursed himself for being so stupid. His Zanpakuto found itself back at home in its sheath, and as for Timor? Well that fine breasted lady was suddenly lifted over Luke's shoulder. "You're not dying...you're not god damn dying on me. Not after it cost me an ARM to save your fucking life!" Luke spat.

The prison was close. Not even five minutes away. Luke could make it before the shock took him. His will was iron. Those amber eyes glowed with his determination as he ground those jaws together. He'd force it. He'd break his fucking body if he needed to. "Wait...you're not-" "He is! Break a leg you stupid frog!" The Dolls spoke as Luke focused his energy. "Kaioken Times Three!" Luke shouted, activating Pulley not once, or twice, but three times. This caused his physicals to skyrocket. And what Luke did with that increased speed, was spam the fuck out of his Steps. Needless to say, he was...in much worse condition than when he started when he finally reached the prison.

He tossed his head to the side and heard a satisfying crack from it. At least he could move again. But he was certainly worse for wear. His left leg had been casted. He actually snapped one of the bones in his right leg with that Pulley and Step over usage. Various parts of his skin had been burnt away or torn, but he healed those himself rather quickly. Also his left eye was red. Not the blue pupils, but the white. He popped a couple blood vessels doing what he did to get Timor to the club. But the most serious injuries were his broken leg and the fact he was missing a fucking arm. When Luke woke up he...well...did not respond well to remembering he was weighing a couple pounds less now.

But he was pretty sure he was doing better. He was still rattled having to use his right arm for everything, but he was more concerned about the girl he brought to the club. Luke appearing, all torn up, with a random girl who was also in bad shape got quite a stir out of the club and the patreons. Taka, for some reason, wasn't at the club that night. But Luke sure as hell heard her screaming over the phone when one of the guys gave her a call when Luke showed up. Tapping his bare foot against the rugged carpet, Luke remained sitting in the private room at the lone table as he watched the medical professional finish bandaging up Eves arm. She still hadn't woken up, but Luke was told that she was, more or less, in the clear.

She'd passed out from shock. She wasn't dead. Luke was responsible for her condition, so he opted to stay and wait for her to wake up and explain to her just where she was. A cup of noodles, with a drink coaster over the lid, sat beside him as he waited for the noodles to cook in the boiling water. He'd put on a white t-shirt with some shorts, since that was the easiest stuff to work with considering his cast and...lack of a left arm. His sword rested against the table beside him. Just in case Eve woke up violent. "You're still too soft." Springflut chided, earning a narrowing of the eyes from Luke. There's nothing wrong with that. I'm still human. She's hurt because of me. I'm going to make sure she wakes up. Luke replied, once again trying to move his left arm but finding himself shocked when he remembered it was gone. His arm was gone...

[Eve Timor]

It was....soft. Wherever she was. Vaguely she remembered some strange dream. It was some pink haired woman telling her off. Telling her about how she was stupid, a pain in her ass. And then getting hugged. Which was mostly a lot of boob in her vision, and then everything went dark again. She was asleep, or something. She didn't know if sleep was the right thing to call it. But in those dreams she wasn't alone. In the dark throes of unconsciousness, she saw her. Sitting straight across from her. Herself. But also not herself.

She saw that black glass had spread over almost the entire body. And even a horrible, volcanic glass tail was wrapped around her own waist. And something about those eyes chilled her to her very core. And she felt, she knew, she understood....that it wanted something bad. As if this ....thing.... cared only about suffering. and that dead stare mad eit all the more apparent. She felt like....she should run. Like she should hide. But...

As she looked down, all she could feel was numb, and the sight of her own fingers cracking, and then shattering, layer by layer. Until her own scream woke her from the dream. Her eyes snapping open and her body lunging up into a sitting position, sweating as she panted, the dream lingering in her mind as she raised both her arms, touching her face with.....oh... She paused, and she stared for a moment. Her brain caught an error. Something wasn't right. Only one hand...

And she turned, staring at her own stump...

You deserved it Came that voice in her head, and Timor sighed softly, rubbing her face with the hand she still had, her shoulders slumping as she hung her head. This was definitely going to effect her job. She stared dully ahead of her, her eyes all but dead for several moments before she realized she wasn't alone. Her head turned and she was... amazed when of all people she saw HIM. Or well.... 85% of him. Her attention shifting to his own missing limb.

Her eyes locked into the fact that he was looking right at her, and she immediately tensed slightly, however it occurred to her that he didn't seem hostile. He seemed....watchful. Had....had he saved her? He was here, watching her, as if he were worried. And she felt a guilt worming up inside of her as it came to dawn that her fear had gotten the best of her. And now here they were. Both of them missing an arm. And her feeling.....out of place. Ahem. Fine fine fine.

".... Affenkonig says you have a cute butt." She muttered. Ignoring the 'aww yiss' that sounded in her head. You owe this boy a bellydance. Or at least a sticker. She argued, to which Timor simply rolled her eyes. She hadn't used a sticker in ages, and she wasn't gonna get back into that. Plus ew, gross, no. But she DID feel at the very least....that she owed him something. She supposed...for the time being, it coudl be her trust. And....

Luke felt a indescribable sense of relief when he finally saw her coming to. When she opened her eyes, a soft smile blossomed on the Bounts face. She was awake. Luke was glad. He was quiet while she looked around, noticing how she was looking at her own lack of an arm. It was funny. Both of them were missing an arm now. What a weird connection to have to someone. When he was finally noticed, Luke gave her an eyebrow wiggle half smile in greeting. She seemed panicked at first, but very quickly calmed down. Which was good. Luke didn't think he was in any condition to get in another fight with her. He could suppress her, this time, with gravity pressure...but he was sure if he did that a lot of the bar would erupt in chaos. And Taka would ram a heat javelin through his ass. If things got bad, well, thankfully she was back. She could help out.

He blinked with surprise, staring at her, when she suddenly commented how her Doll, Affenkonig, thought he had a cute butt. That got a chuckle out of the Bount. Yup. Her Doll was like Jäger. But didn't seem as annoying. "I worked hard for that butt. Glad someone's appreciating it." He joked lightly, trying to erase the tension in the room as best he could. When he heard that thanks, he felt like everything that had happened had finally been worth it. Luke smiled and though it was soft, tired even, it just bled with his natural light and charisma. "Ended up banging myself up something fierce getting you here. Was afraid one of us was gonna die." The Bount commented, rocking his casted up leg back and forth as he looked at it.

"Despite what I...well, we...did to each other, I'm glad you're alright." Luke said, turning to look at his noodles for a moment. Fiddling with the fork, he let out a sigh. "I was on my way back here when I suddenly felt your energy and those Hollows. I was there to help you out. Nothing else. I'm not sure if it was something I said, did, or if I reminded you of someone, but I didn't intend to provoke you like I did. I only wanted to help you out. I'm sorry. And to your Doll as well, for what I did to her back." Luke apologized, bowing his head towards Timor. He didn't feel like asking what it was that made her decide to suddenly attack him. He didn't feel it was important right now.

"You're free to stay here as long as you need. The doc who patched you up is off fetching you something good from the kitchens." Luke explained as he finally removed the drink coaster from the lid of his noodles and took a look. Ah, cool, they were done. As he lifted his fork to get himself a mouthful, he blinked. "By the way, I'm Luke."

She nodded gently at his response but she didn't laugh. Even though she was less...anxious and such, she still couldn't deny her nature. It was a cute joke, she was just a little hard to make laugh outside of her own weird, twisted sense of humor. And she had a brief moment of...confusion. At least when he mentioned that they'd done to eachother. And for a moment, as she tried to think back, she wasn't entirely sure. She had been terrified, she knew that much, but ...

The specifics were just gone.

She rubbed at her face and shook her head "I don't even remember what happened." What happened is you freaked out and blew his arm off. She frowned, rubbing her head a little and sighed softly. "I don't really remember all of it. IT's all sort of a blur. So... I'm sorry if I'm not entirely sure what you're talking about. I do remember that I attacked you. But....why is still fuzzy." She muttered.

At that Affen had nothing to say, and she did wonder. What was it that had scared her so much? she expected Affen to chime in. But there was nothing. Just silence. And that worried her even more. But for now she brushed all of that aside. Pulling off the covers, she grunted and stood up, glancing down at her outfit. Not what she had passed out in for certain. She had her jacket, and some shorts she didn't recognize.

"Did you....dress me? In trendy ladies clothing?" She murmured, confused. Nah that was the hot pink one. she paused, frowning a little before gently nodding her head. "Thanks Affen." she murmured, Luke of course would only get half of that, rubbing her chin as she looked at herself. He would probably wonder if this was what he was like sometimes. Then again, she hadn't even seen his dolls. Maybe they were not as nice.

At the mention of where she was, what had happened, and all the other information. She considered what she'd been told, her min munching away at these tidbits of information. So this was...what...like some sort of spirit club? Definitely a lot....different from the one she worked at. And definitely probably safer. But still... "Timor." She murmured softly, and laid back down, closing her eyes and letting out a sigh.

She felt...relieved. she'd survived at least. And thats when it hit her. She didn't actually know if she'd h ave been able to take on all those hollows. And more had shown up....right? She didn't remember exactly how many. But it had been a lot. And it occurred to her that she owed this guy a lot more than just saving her from the injuries he inflicted. but for now... she kept that to herself. Ignoring Affen smiling at her, she could FEEL that damn monkey grinning.

She closed her eyes, and in a few moments, she had drifted off again. Back into the deep. Back into the comfort of rest.
