Account Name: Hebi
Chat Name: ForgottenMercy
Position: Low Authority Mod
Time Spent on Forum: First Post July 3, 2014 (Close to 3 years) Approximately 8 Years active (I've had some segments of months or so here or there where I've been gone) back in the day.
Roleplay Time: 20 years of Text-based roleplay, originating on Gaia-online, whilst including things such as SecondLife and a number of other forums. I have been staff on several other Forums.
Characters:
Colt
Orina "Mizu" Tsuraiko
Reasons You Deserve This Position: I have a considerable amount of experience with roleplay in general, as well as positions of responsibility. Probably my FIRST taste of responsibility was on a Roleplay on Second Life at Jenova Crisis Final Fantasy 7 Sim. I started as one of only 2 members of the AVALANCHE group, both of us who then became leaders when the recent leader left. Between myself and my companion Chas we brought the group from a small band of just two characters harassing the Shinra base, to a full group which by the conclusion of the sim had around 10-15 members and Seven Ravens (A project which was originally an NPC endeavor, but I myself became the first RPC Raven and assisted in establishing the lore regarding.)
My next role was in my days as a Military Roleplayer, again on Second Life in a Military Sim called CTF. The position was of a Commander, which largely consisted of writing up training, protocol, and managing new recruits. Sadly the group was already small and somewhat on it's last legs on my joining, but while it lasted it was a larning experience.
Next up was a role in another Military, Vanguard. A MUCH larger military, I made it up to the rank of NCO. There my duties involved running trainings, keeping recruits and lower officers in line, as well as organizing Flight Training for the Luftwaffe. This came to be more fo an introduction to authority and responsibility, as it was my first regimented and more strict position than any before.
In more recent endeavors there were two Naruto sites which I unfortunately came to be in Mod positions within. However, as the nature of these experiences was..unpleasant, I will not mention them here. However I will note that within these sites I learned a good deal about balancing and grading, as well as maintaining patience with difficult members.
Lastly we come to our own Bleach site. And contemporary Relevent ecperience. On the three years I have been active on and off on this site, I have successfully created a number of characters, and even organized and directed the expansion of Hueco Mundo and organization into Las Arenas. I have considerable experience with powers and a considerable knowledge of the system (As I am often turned to by my peers when it comes to powers and techniques). Given the sheer number of times I have had my materials graded, I am very familiar with the process and feel that my experience speaks volumes for my capabilities.
Addendum: In recent years, I have been on several other sites over the past couple years, as well as having staff experience.
But more than any of my experience, I am a professional individual. While I have my own personal misgivings and at times can even become heated, this is from a personal stance. When it comes to staff work and any professional behavior as a representative of a member of staff on any site or entity of authority, I feel that the conduct of an individual should represent the site staff as a whole. While I may certainly have shown a lax and even wild side, I understand that being a part of staff puts one toward a standard of conduct. One that I fully intend on embodying in my day to day conduct.
Staff is an important part of any site, not only as a work force, but to ensure that roleplayers can feel confident that there is a proper structure and guidance to ensure the continued function and perpetuity of enjoyment for its players.
Other Notes:
I am fully prepared to partake in whatever tests or assignments required to demonstrate my capacity to perform the job.
