Shikitsuhiko resumed meditating as the silence set-in following Myza's departure. It was soon again disrupted by a shrill voice over a loud speaker. He was still as he listened to Myza declaration of combat. Such pettiness was of no interest to him. He would not allow himself to be drawn into the puerile and imperious behavior that seemed to personify many other Arrancar. There was nothing he felt he needed to prove, especially to the likes of Myza. He served Kouhai and no one else. Despite his disinterest, it seemed others did not share his sentiment.
He could feel another approaching and wondered what precisely was wanted. Would this be a benign encounter or would he have to endure more senseless antagonism and grandstanding. "This location seems rather popular today." He stated plainly as Sargon approached.

It had been yet another dreadfully boring day in Las Noches with virtually nothing to do, but wonder or stay in his chambers. It had been some time since either of his Fraccion had done anything to impressive him and although he was continuing to train Zegram and whenever Aurora would get over her latest fit towards him he'd continue hers as well it still wasn't and wouldn't be enough regardless. The time had come for Sargon to potentially move on once again. The palace of the Arrancar was such a dull location even if a minor amount of the others had at least the potential to entertain him.
He had been staying around for the same reason that he had even returned to Las Noches; entertainment. However, it seemed that he was the only Espada with such a thing in mind as most of the others were content to do very little and maybe once in a while enjoy themselves by doing battle against a minor foe. Sargon hadn't attacked Soul Society or the Vandenreich Empire or even the Human World in what felt like ages. It had been so long since he deduced the palace of the Quincy to little more than a dripping hot mess of earth. Everything was boring and most of the others were simply annoying.
The small minded little girl of the Espada Myza once again would place her ill informed, overconfident, shrill voice across Las Noches declaring a challenge towards the new Fourth of the Espada the position directly below his own to a battle. It didn't go without notice that she claimed Sargon to be a mistake and it went with absolutely zero fucks given as Sargon walked throughout the halls boredom bringing about more of an effect on his mentality than the claims of such a simple minded sup'd up skank.
As he made it into the sunlight of Las Noches Sargon would look out at all of the sand surrounding the palace. Exhaling in boredom he struggled with himself internally at the thought of simply turning all of the sand into lava and seeing how everyone would react. He knew that many would die and others would be mad. He frankly didn't give a shit about them. It was the possibility of others surviving and trying to stop him that was appetizing. It would so much more entertaining than this mistake he had made in rejoining Las Noches.
It wasn't long though that Sargon heard the voice of a male near him and when he turned slightly in order to look in the direction of the voice he saw the Fourth in the common position of meditation. Based on his words Sargon had to assume that the Fourth had been here for awhile now and this had been where Myza had met him and things obviously hadn't gone that well. "Can't say if it is or isn't. Just another boring place in this boring palace." Sargon felt like at least for the moment perhaps his boredom could be abolished by this new Arrancar. "Welcome to the Espada Cuarta. Feel free to open the Septima spot if you so wish. No one would blame you."

Silence had always been his biggest crime. Even during his mortal life he possessed such restraint that it kept him from speaking truth even in situations marred with lies an deceit. Things appeared to change for the better after becoming a Hollow. He was soft-spoken and reserved, but his contributions became deliberate and thoughtful. He was careful with his words, always has been. Despite his careful attention to phrasing, he found himself compelled to examine and respond to situations with the utmost truth. He was again confronted with such a situation as his fellow Espada spoke of treason.
Killing among the arrancar of Las Noches was common, but Shikitsuhiko believed such behavior was wasteful and juvenile. There were rare exceptions when arrancar deserved to be eliminated, either as a result of repeated failure or treason. Having a flawed personality or impaired social skills was not a strong enough argument to kill another arrancar, especially an Espada. The cannibalistic nature possessed by hollows simply transformed when they became arrancar, and this is how it took form. Shikitsuhiko felt no desire to confront the Septima Espada or deal with her as Sargon had implied. She had talents and until those proved useless to Kouhai she would remain as she is now.
Shikitsuhiko scoffed audibly. "She's quite hyperactive and rather insecure. Nevertheless, I have no motive for engaging a fellow Espada nor do I care to indulge." He paused for a moment before continuing. "You seek excitement. I assume such excitement comes in the form of battle. Surely there are foes on opposing sides eager to prove their worth and equally foolish enough to try their hand at an Espada. Foolishness certainly is limitless. My recent interactions have proven that much of others."

Sargon continued to stand overlooking the sands of Las Noches remembering how millennia ago it still pretty much looked the same and yet he knew that the vastness of the sand was now greater than it had been in the past even if it brought him just as little enjoyment. He had been hoping that the new Espada the Cuarta would be somewhat entertaining and yet it didn't come as a surprise when the Arrancar at least during these first few moments seemed to be very complacent.
Sargon had met with the previous Cuarta who was at the moment the Segunda who still would rather ploy his plots and deal behind the scenes then make a major direct action against the enemies of Las Noches. While Sargon respected the raw power of the Segunda the both of them hadn't ever really gotten along all that well and Sargon had the feeling that the new Cuarta was more than likely going to end up in the same situation. He was calm and intelligent something that Sargon didn't have a problem with, but when he made it clear he had no intention of facing down any of the Espada a large portion of his interest was lost.
Even when Sargon wasn't doing battle himself he had learned to feel at least some entertainment when witnessing a battle between at least somewhat competent entities which he felt the Cuarta and perhaps the Septima could achieve. The Cuarta continued to speak though declaring that he felt Sargon was seeking out excitement which was obvious given his facial expressions and body motions. It was what came afterwards that Sargon actually felt the Cuarta didn't quite understand. "Perhaps if I got a Sternritter or two away from their palace they might try to face me."
"Once you've done certain things though it becomes harder to find challengers who are as you put it foolish enough to stand and fight." Sargon thought for a moment at the prospect of opening a Garganta to the Vandenreich Empire and staying for awhile to weaken them once again until he had his fill of tormenting them. The idea of it actually brought what felt like a tiny flame to his heart and yet that flame was quick to fade. "Well since I'm here Cuarta I'll extend an invitation. Would you care to join me and a Fraccion in an upcoming raid?"

"Sternritter." He said plainly. "They can be powerful foes. You think it wise to draw them out and fight more than one at a time?" Shikitsuhiko did not doubt Sargon's potential, but was of the personality where careful contemplation and caution factored into every decision. Even so, he could not fully understand his fellow Espada's desire to battle. Seeking battles for the purpose of entertainment was a waste of his talents, and certainly a waste of his time. He wouldn't necessarily voice this to Sargon, feeling it was not his place nor necessary.
Shikitsuhiko adjusted his posture and directed his face toward Sargon. "A raid?" He questioned. "What is this raid in which you need assistance? Do you not have faith in your fraccion to aid in this endeavor?"

Sargon continued to look out at the boring sands of Las Noches while listening to the newly appointed Cuarta of the Espada. "You're correct the Stern Ritters can be powerful adversaries indeed and that's what makes them so enjoyable. Believe me most of them aren't all that entertaining if you actually speak to them. No the only use they serve is to be entertainment or in a rarer case be useful in growth of power." Sargon inhaled heavily and then thought over everything that hadn't been happening in the last few months.
"As for the raid I'm thinking of returning to Soul Society or perhaps the human world. Either way I have confidence in my Fraction, but I know they won't be enough to bring down an entire division by themselves. Kill a few hundred Shinigami perhaps. The Cuarta and his Fraction as an addition though. Soul Society is always plotting and always moving. Attacking them on a periodic basis slows them down." Sargon just thinking over the last time that he had attacked Soul Society started to feel like more of himself. The fog that was clinging to his mind was started to clear and his normal personality was starting to surface once again. It didn't matter now what the Cuarta said he was going to attack if for no other reason than to feel like himself again.

Shikitsuhiko projected his consciousness into the environment, sensing everything around him. He allowed his senses to embed themselves into the very air he was breathing. Into the ground beneath his body. And yet, Sargon's words continued to drill into his meditation. His body still and eyes closed, Shikitsuhiko responded softly. "I no longer have a Fraccion. I imagine she is wallowing in self-pity and self-loathing right about now, which is precisely where she should be."
He inhaled deeply before continuing. "Even if she weren't traitorous, what need would I have to participate in an unsanctioned invasion on the Soul Society?" Admittedly, while he seldom acted on such a grand scale without direct orders from Kouhail, he was even less interested in waging war with Shinigami. Senseless battle was beneath him. He required reasoning and rationale before making such a dangerous decision. He could sense Sargon's thirst for battle. It was as insatiable as the women's desperate plea for control.
"I'm surprised you aren't interested in sewing similar seeds among our newest members." He said. It appeared their numbers were growing. It had been a long while since a new member was anointed as Espada. He figured Sargon would want to have them accompany him as well. Perhaps they were more easily convinced, though Shikitsuhiko could only surmise at this point. He didn't know them any more than Sargon did.

Looking out over the vast desert of the bright sand that layered Las Noches Sargon listened to the words of one of the newer Espada. He hadn't even been an Espada for very long and yet based on what he said it seemed he had cast his Fraccion aside like a worthless object. Sargon actually made a mental note of such a possible action knowing that it actually caused his opinion of Shikitsuhiko to raise. Based on everything else that he had learned about the entity through this conversation he wasn't anyone that Sargon felt would be very interesting or worth while, but the mere fact that he could potentially be ruthless gave at least a bit more interest as it opposed the rest of what he had heard from him.
However, the feeling that perhaps this new Espada might be someone that could be interesting or even a powerful entity to watch for in the future was quickly diminished as Shikitsuhiko spoke once again and made it very clear that unless he was ordered to do something or got permission to do something he wasn't going to be up to do it. This spoke volumes in Sargon's opinion to his personality and spirit as an individual. Following the orders of another to the point that making your own decisions no longer mattered that is the marking of a true subject, servant, property. Perhaps he was already that to the current king or maybe just enough of himself was alive inside, but in the scope of things to Sargon it didn't matter either way.
"I believe I gave you at least some level of benefit towards Las Noches if we attack Soul Society once in a while just a moment ago. I'll repeat myself only this once since this is the first time we've met Cuarta. By attacking the Shinigami we acquire their attention. Soul Society like any other kingdom only possesses so much of a population with limited attention. By constantly attacking them we not only lower the population, but place further limitations on what they may be developing or planning. As for needing such a trivial thing as permission that's not required normally. Something you may learn quickly here is that as Espada we have free will. You might want to try it out some time."
"The numbers of the Espada do seem to continue to grow rapidly these days. Inspecting the newly appointed may provide at least a myopic amount of entertainment." Sargon thought it over for a moment wondering whether or not Kouhai had actually found some powerful Arrancar or even Hollows that he had transformed out in the desert above. It wasn't impossible for such a thing to occur. Sargon knew very well that there were powerful entities out in the vast wasteland of Heuco Mundo. Finding them that was the issue. Turning he began to make his way back inside. "Well then Cuarta lets go find the new members."

Shikitsuhiko spared no reaction, choosing instead to leave Sargon wondering. He didn't much care for obtaining the attention of Shinigami. Truthfully, Las Noches has never lost the gaze of the Soul Society. Their actions and past crimes were far too egregious to be overlooked. As of late, Shinigami were overly self-involved and focused on fighting amongst themselves. There were conceited that way. Despite all of that, to do as Sargon suggested sounded fruitless and lacked the reasoning Shikitsuhiko expected.
"I am exercising my free will by choosing to remain here." He said plainly as he continued to meditate. "I trust Lord Kouhai's wisdom and judgement. This selection likely possess merit, otherwise he would not have chosen them." Shikitsuhiko was vocal about his loyalty and support of Kouhai, but even he had doubts. Not even Kouhai could predict the longevity and usefulness of an arrancar. He merely relied on a face value appraisal. It wasn't Shikitsuhiko's responsibility to question his decisions and therefore he had litter interest in examining newly appointed Espada.
It was clear Sargon wanted to see what new potential had entered their ranks. Shikitsuhiko suspected his curiosity was not of an innocent nature. It was fueled by pride, a desire to control, and competition. These three traits bore deep within the Espada, but not Shikitsuhiko. He was prideful in some ways, but cared not for controlling others or competition. Appraising their worth was of no interest to him. For the first time, he broke his posture and turned his heard toward Sargon. "You'll be disappointed to know that meeting the newest members is of no interest to me. I will allow you the glory of instilling fear in them. Such a task is better left to you anyhow. If after that you desire that I accompany you for a mission related to the Soul Society, I will consider it." He responded before returning to his meditation.

Everything around the dimension of the Hollows had been boring for awhile now perhaps meeting these new espada could provide him with at least a meager amount of entertainment for a moment. He had come here and found the new Cuarta, spoken to him for a short period of time. In this short amount of time he had learned what he felt was enough about him as an entity to know that he wouldn't disobey an order from the current King of Las Noches. While he could tell that this entity possessed quite the powerful soul he was nothing more than a follower. Another ant serving yet another false King.
Sargon started to make his way back towards the inner workings of Las Noches when he heard the vague sound of Shikitsuhiko moving slightly. He stopped and listened with his back towards the Cuarta. Throughout this conversation the Tercera had been polite, respectful and tolerant of the Cuarta aspects of the Tercera that normally only his trusted Fraccion were fortunate to experience. First impressions were something that one could never truly replicate and Sargon made it a habit to allow someone at least a small degree of intolerable actions during the first meeting and at this very moment as the Cuarta he had reached his quota.
The Cuarta would easily be able to pick up that suddenly the temperature of the area suddenly was skyrocketing raising by fifteen degrees in a moment. The heat of the area simply continued to rise as Sargon's reiatsu flexed revealing that if there was any Espada to ever be questioned or feared it was him and only him. The stone of Las Noches that made up the ground that he stood on was burning turning a dark grey color that was spreading away from him. The walls that made up the entrance to Las Noches itself were acting beginning to melt dripping down in front of Sargon as if instead of stone they were simply water dripping from ice.
"I'll make this clear Cuarta. No one allows me to do anything. I do as I please whether they agree or not. I'm not like the rest of you that follow Kouhai blindly. Permission is not something I require. You should learn quickly exactly how to speak to others if you plan on hanging onto your position. The last Cuarta felt the urge to question me and he didn't remain here for very long. Next time we meet I won't be as leniant with you." Sargon began to step forward inside of Las Noches as the air felt as if it was fire itself. The balcony now burnt grey as it retained the heat of hot coals. It would remain for a few more moments until Sargon was inside of Las Noches. The air would quickly cool while the balcony would retain the heat that flowed through it and the wrapped figure of the stone solidified.
