Thread Title: Rockhead vs Disaster Fox Participants: Yetsuna Yshmir, Lagos Oscuras World: Human World Death Setting: Non Death Enabled Rating: R Location: This takes place within the crowded streets of Karakura town with several dead Shinigami littering the streets and destruction everywhere with humans quickly running from the scene or ready to be caught in the crossfire. This location is littered with skyscrapers and other sorts of obstacles such as cars and other what nots to exploit. Special Conditions: None Circumstances: Lagos Oscuras on her moment of boredom had went to Karakura town in the goal of killing some Shinigami, an old time hobby of hers. In this time Squad 3 had been investigating an odd series of spiritual pressures as well as exterminating Hollows seeing that due to the shortage of reapers, the hollow count has drastically risen in the past few months. Lagos had slaughtered several members of the squad with little difficulty and now the Vice Captain is to engage her.

In the world of the living, there was a hobby that Lagos Oscuras, the Fraccion of the Cuarto Espada was seeking out the Shinigami within the area. She enjoyed killing them in her spare time and she was already well aware that they were weakened in number and strength due to the invasions of both Kuroi Naito as well as the Vandenreich Empire. Lagos therefore was jumping on the bandwagon thinking, why not lower the numbers of the death gods by more? Thus here she was in the land known as Karakura town, looking for trouble. She found that killing Shinigami was a wonderful thing to do and she decided to bring two weakling arrancar subordinates for the ride seeing they absolutely begged her to do so.
She wore her cyan handled blade on her right side and wore the white and black robes that seemed to be the fashion sense for the Arrancar within Hueco Mundo. At the moment she had been walking through the street, releasing her spiritual pressure out onto the environment, causing glass to shatter loudly and the cmeant itself begin to crack. She cared not for the well being of humans and frankly neither did the Arrancar that accompanied her. With a loud sigh, she had looked to the two weaklings at her side. “Go crazy and do as you wish. I have other business to tend to.” After her defeat at the hands of her master, she had found now was the time to release some pent up energy out on the world in front of her. Easy enough.
It seems though that fun had come to her as several Shinigami had immediately appeared in front of her with swords drawn. “Ah yes...the pleasure is all mine Shinigami. Thank you for not having me waste my time having to look for all of you.” She seemed playful in nature but with a hint more seriousness than before. She had learned from the last time what her mistake was in her battle against Shikihitsuko, her Espada. She figured that at times she needed to stop treating everything like a game and instead focus on the task at hand. She was going to instead do both and enjoy killing all of these Shinigami at the same time doing her mission.
“Allow me to introduce myself to all of you before I send you to the depths of hell. My name is Lagos Oscuras, Fraccion of Espada#4 Shikihitsuko Isayama.” Immediately the first few Shinigami charged into her and there were screams of pain and torture a few moments later. Lagos had stood there soon enough completely clean and devoid of injury as she looked rather bored at the lack of excitement. None of the Shinigami in front of her were able to put up a good fight based off the look of it. She had slaughtered eight members of squad three and the one medic that was assigned with them at the moment. They lay strewn on cars, one with his face shoved into a building, and others were completely shredded apart by the look of it. Yetsuna Yshmir would soon be able to gaze upon this scene as Lagos would be the only figure there at the time.
Lagos wanted something challenging but yet also something to give her a thrill. She wanted to feel as if she was alive, and what better way than engaging someone in combat that was near the captain’s class. She could sense Yetsuna approaching simply from her fine tuned senses and the spiritual pressure was so large that even an idiot should be able to sense it coming from a mile away. Turning to the woman's general direction, her eyes had widened slightly but not in displeasure. This spiritual pressure was even larger than hers and so it would give Lagos a bit of a thrill to fight for. Hopefully her opponent would give her a challenge seeing it wasn't every day one ran into a spiritual pressure as large as this.

Recently there had been a spike in the number of hollows in the area around Karakura, the cause mostly being attributed to the disappearance, and likely killing, of other shinigami assigned to that area, all of them unseated, but capable enough to handle any hollows that would appear in the town. As was typical squad 3 was sent to investigate the disappearances and find the culprit, most people suspected an arrancar because of the penchant for hunting shinigami, but several of the shinigami sent to investigate never reported in. The order was made to deploy battalions of shinigami instead of solo acts and to send in squad 3's vice captain; Yetsuna.
For the most part her orders were to search the area, coordinate the foot soldiers and medics, and acts as the fast response unit if/when the enemy finally came around again. It took a few days, but eventually the enemy did show up again, and from her guess they weren't really making any attempts to hide their presence from anyone in the area, which likely trying to attract attention, and that whatever it was was likely strong enough deal with the foot soldiers deployed with Yetsuna, even in battalions, which was a problem because she was too far away to intercept the creature first. Part of Yetsuna hoped that whatever squads were nearby would be smart enough to notice the obvious trap and avoid the area until she could intercept whatever was there, but she knew the members of squad 3 fairly well by now and, even if they knew it was a trap, they were likely to respond to whatever the threat was.
She dashed towards the source of the reiatsu, but she could already feel a group moving to intercept before she could, and in that short moment her heart sank slightly, all of the shinigami sources were snuffed out in an instant. "God damned idiots," she thought to herself, chiding the stubbornness of her squad mates for walking into the trap. Yetsuna hated losing men under her command, it was part of the reason she liked to only work solo or in small group, it allowed her to actually defend and protect the people she was with, but with large groups and scouting parties that wasn't really possible. Despite the desire to protect her men she wasn't so naive as to think she could defend everyone, decades, centuries, had thought her such a though was a childish dream, but losing men still hurt her.
Her frustration was interrupted by two more signatures heading her way, both originally masked by the larger one. Off in the distance Yetsuna saw two arrancar heading her way, neither seemed overly strong, and both seemed border line mindless with blood lust. Yetsuna's blade began to expand and grow across her back, forming into her armor. The two creatures closed in Yetsuna summoned a set of spiked stone gauntlets over each arm and continued to dash towards the two approaching enemies, she was going to end this quick. Once within striking range She lashed out with her fists, striking the first one with a hard upper cut followed by a heavy jab to the chest, both blow resulting in the familiar feeling and sound of crushed bones and sending the first arrancar flying to the ground at a high speed, if it wasn't dead it at the very least wasn't going to be able to move.
The second one attempted to take advantage of Yetsuna's perceived open defense while she struck down her friend, but the shinigami was more then prepared. As the other arrancar began to swing with its blade Yetsuna's elbow shot out, catching the monster in the solar plexus and stopping it dead before delivering a heavy upper cut to it jaw, causing several of its teeth to shatter before a wide arm swing caught its temple causing it to also go flying towards the ground at a high speed. With both mooks taken care of the geomancer's continued her dash towards the stronger presence to intervene before anyone one else lost their life.
When she arrived she found a picture that was a bit too familiar from a few of her past adventures; body parts, blood, and corpse were strewn about the area and in the middle of it was some monster. Several times in the past she has seen a scene like this, and every time she lamented at the needlessly excessive carnage the beasts wrought. Yetsuna was a fighter by nature, and that brought with it carnage, but she avoided torturing her enemies, mess with them sure? but rarely, if ever, did she do harm for harms sake.
In the center of all the blood and gore was an arrancar, like most people had theorized and she had figured after the two mooks had tried to attack her, arrancars only tend to follow other arrancars. Yetsuna's voice was flat, noticeably absent of its normal warmth and cheer she typically even showed her enemies, "You're the one that's been hunting shinigami the past few days?" she said fairly sure she knew the answer already. Internally the shinigami was debating how to deal with the creature, kill or capture, leaning heavily on the kill considering the slain shinigami around them and squad 12's lack of any needed research specimens.
She was also already trying to gauge her opponents abilities, her reaitsu strength and density hinted that she might be a caster or an elementalist like herself, but based on the bodies laying about chances were she had enough physical abilities to go toe to toe in physical combat, taking out a squad of unseated shinigami wasn't exactly the hardest thing on the planet to do, but to take them out and cause such carnage while doing to meant she had a overwhelming clear physical superiority over them. Overwhelming physical strength was something she could easily deal with, speed tended to be slightly more problematic, so she'd have to watch careful for any sudden moves until she knew more about her opponents abilities.

The woman in front of her was rather beautiful and looked charming in physical appearance. Why, she would be willing to take this woman out to bed and a glass of wine if she weren’t a Shinigami. However, other than that, this seemed to be a competent combatant as she seemed rather...strong. This would be her first time fighting a Shinigami of the Vice Captain class, but she identified her position rather easily by the badge all Vice Captains carried upon them. Of course they would have to wear it on duty and Lagos was ever so pleased to be meeting such such a foe. She wanted to have some fun with this woman, or perhaps if she were willing, they could skip fighting and find somewhere more private to divulge in better pleasures.
“Why hello there Shinigami. Why are you here may I ask?” That was a bit of a joke of course as Lagos turned her way to look at the woman before stepping on the skull of a fallen Shinigami, making it turn into paste underneath her boot heel. “Are you lost by any chance? I seem to have found myself in a junkyard as all this trash had been in my way.” She wore a light smile on her face as she kicked the said corpse aside on top of a car, causing the alarm to go off. Her fox skull mask had seemingly chuckled with it’s sharp teeth rising and falling. Thus, the confrontation between a broken mask Hollow and a death god would begin.
If only Shikitsuhiko-Sama were here to greet her at this moment. How he would deal with this pathetic Shinigami in seconds and allow the fun to continue. Oh yes, how she would enjoy that rather much. Lagos had flicked the blood off of her left hand before giggling perversely at the thought. Oh yes, how she would enjoy having him here, but unfortunately that wasn't an option. Oh how she was going to enjoy telling her master the events of this day. She was going to tell him of how she had engaged a Shinigami Vice Captain. Oh...how rude, she almost forgot her guest. "You wear the badge of a Vice Captain. May I ask what your name is and what squad before we move past the formalities? My name is Lagos Oscuras, and I am Fraccion of Espada#4. As for your question. Have I been hunting Shinigami for the past few days? No I have not although this group had approached me and I found it wasn’t hard to extinguish them."
Yetsuna would at this moment see Lagos ogling her with her cerulean orbs. There seemed to be a change of demeanor as the Arrancar Lagos had bowed. “I apologize. These were your subordinates after all. I didn't really plan on killing them this way but it is my duty as you can guess. I would like to ask if perhaps you would like to forget fighting and killing each other for a moment as it seems you have killed two Arrancar on the way here. I am rather...interested in you.” Lagos had stared at the armored heroine especially around the chest and nether regions. “Perhaps you would like for us to help each other feel good if you understand my message? I feel all pent up and stressed as of late.” She grinned as she stepped closer to Yetsuna with a small smile as she winked foxily. “A kiss from a beautiful and powerful woman would be most appreciated right now.”
She would await a response as she was also looking at the woman. The spiritual energy she had was unrestrained and so she raised her eyebrow in confusion at the armor. “Is this your Shikai miss? Or should I say, beautiful. It fits you rather nicely may I say.” She wanted a response to see if they might have a chance to find a nice private place to just relax. Although depending on her demeanor, Lagos just might ask for a training spar or battle afterwards so that she could get a feel. Her master Shikihitsuko already knew Lagos’ preference to women and so perhaps the fox woman would have some mixed details on what she was doing on this date that is if she was ever asked. Mmhm...now she wondered if Yetsuna was interested in her as well. “Are you perhaps interested in me?” She gestured to her body as she loosened the utility trench coat revealing some of her effeminate curves.
Lagos predicted her enemy was a physical fighter based off the release and she looked physically strong despite her strong spiritual pressure. Her release looked interesting and she wondered what armor could do for the woman. It didn't seem to benefit any combat benefits in fighting other than protection and it certainly didn't seem out of the ordinary for any release. She had gauged out Yetsuna fine enough as Lagos had crossed her arms over her chest, wondering if she and the beauty could get to know each other more "personally." She really didn't have any issues fighting the Shinigami or making love. It really was whatever the reaper decided to do. Lagos had her hands at her side as she brushed her silver hair to the back of her head with her right hand.

Without a doubt that was one of the quickest and most severe 180's Yetsuna had ever seen an enemy do in her entire life, which fairly impressive considering she had fought a number of fickle opponents in her past. She herself wasn't above such changes of heart herself, more then once had she got into a fight with a shinigami with the brawl coming to an end between the sheet, but this arrancar's change was startling. One moment she is desecrating the remains of her allies and disrespecting lives, the next she was trying to hit on her, what's more she actually had the audacity to ask her if she found her attractive; her, the monster that was covered in the blood of her allies. The question was enough to make even Yetsuna seethe.
There were, of course, other factors to her anger as well, some of it was at herself for not getting here in time to save her charges from such grizzly deaths, another factor was the initial blast of disrespect that the girl had shown at her arrival, and there was also the casual dismissal of having killed eight people and acting like because Yetsuna had slain two arrancar in her dash to get her they were now some how even. All of the girl's words only served to make Yetsuna more infuriated with her. To her the arrancar's apology had meant nothing, not after how she had acted initially, if she hadn't soured her first impression so heavily there was a small chance that she would have been willing to hear what the girl had to say about killing the shinigami, listen to some potential justification behind it, but there was no chance of that now.
She remained silent for a few moments after the arrancar had asked her question, her face unamused and unchanging before she began to speak, her voice measured, "No," she replied as her spiritual pressure began to build up, for the most part overwhelming the arrancar's, though not entirely, and resulting in more windows shattering as they buckled due to the force of her reaitsu. It was a rare show of force on Yetsuna's part to just let her reaitsu pour out of her at full volume, she typically kept it controlled to a reasonable volume, partially to minimize her intimidation factor, partially to minimize collateral damage, but at this moment she didn't care about either of those.
Yetsuna's shoulders rose and fell as she took a deep breath to reign her self back in slightly before speaking again, her head and eyes moving around the area slowly glancing at all the gore before speaking again, "You asked for my name?," she asked rhetorically, "My name is Yetsuna Yishnir, and yes this is my shikai, Ishio." she paused again before staring the girl straight down, "And I plan for both of those names to be the last one's you hear," she said her voice still incredibly measured. Yetsuna had every intention of killing the beast before her, but it wasn't really for her own personal gratification, though there would be a bit of that, no, she was going to end the monster so she couldn't kill anyone else.
As she finished speaking Yetsuna let out a burst of reaitsu and turned the ground under the girl into something much stronger and much more difficult to break. Immediately the ground reached up and clamped down around the girls feet in an attempt to root her in place, and unless the girl moved the moment the sand grabbed her foot she was going to find herself rooted by 600 strength sand that quickly climbed up to her mid shin, firmly locking her in place. That same moment Yetsuna's used a shunpo to close the distance between the two of them and reappearing behind the girl, her fist closing in at a rapid 800 speed and ready to make contact with the same amount of force.

A no was what she had received from the Shinigami and Lagos had giggled playfully at the rejection. “Hopefully when you return in the next afterlife as an Arrancar you will have changed your mind.” As the woman flared her spiritual pressure, some of the few remaining windows shattered and Lagos didn’t look too interested. “Your power is nothing compared to Shikihitsuko-Sama’s. I will remember the name of your Shikai and your name Yetsuna. I guarantee that Ishio and Yetsuna won’t be the last names that I hear.” She sounded the name off of her tongue before she closed her vest to keep herself nice and snug. She could sense that anger and bloodlust in the air. The anger that Yetsuna had was so delicious. Now to see what her enemy would do as she seemed to calm herself a little bit.
There was a sudden burst of Reiatsu that Lagos could detect, and with her instincts had saw the ground quickly morph at her feet. Using her incredible speed for a mere moment, she would seemingly blur out of sight to Yetsuna as Lagos leaped high into the air at around fifteen feet before retaining the airground. Then, quickly running up into the air, she stood at around nearly thirty feet, looking down at the armored woman. “Ah ah ah. Let’s not get so hasty now Shinigami. It was a mistake thinking you could catch me like that. Oh no. Because now that you’ve failed, I know the nature of your power.” Lagos took a few silent breaths before stretching her arms and legs. She wasn’t going to fight anywhere near the ground seeing she could have been caught if she had stayed maybe another second or so.
Lagos wasn’t going to waste the Reiatsu on this woman if she could help it. Lagos with her analytical behavior had found that the nature of her technique manipulated stone and the earth itself. That made a rather large amount of sense seeing the name of her Zanpakutou literally stated earth in its call. ‘I will force her to come to me and engage me in hand to hand combat and or use projectiles to face me. My Hierro will protect me from the hand to hand confrontation and so she will most likely use the stone as I predict. I’ll lull her into a false sense of security and then strike her when she is most open.' The voluptuous woman had grinned as she slowly drew the Katana that she possessed. She needed to use some deception in order to gain the upper hand.
“My movement is rather fast isn’t it?” She waited for the next pitiful attack that would be launched at her before figuring out what exactly she was going to do. She could release and end all of this, but what would be the fun in that? Yes, what would be the fun in that? She didn’t want to waste all of her precious energy on a foe that wasn’t even competent. With the deception of having told Yetsuna that what she saw was the speed of Lagos in her Sonido would perhaps make the woman think she was incompetent, weak. Lagos tried to recall everything she learned from Shikihitsuko and thus she tried to calm herself and focus on the task at hand. She could have fun later so long as she got the job done first. She shouldn’t let her guard down.
She could almost imagine Shikihitsuko chastising her for playing with her enemy in a battle that could mean life and death. Lagos had slowly drawn her Katana, a turquoise handled katana with a silver blade that shined in the sunlight. “Bala.” The tip of the sword extremely quickly formed and fired a projectile the size of a small car to slam into Yetsuna. The searing heat would be felt even if she were to defend herself with a wall or such made from stone. She wanted to see just how fast the stone could react as to gauge it’s capability as well as its resistance to destructive forces. Bala was incredibly fast and so she wanted to see if her foe would either dodge it or defend. The large projectile thanks to Lagos’ mastery of the technique had launched forward before creating a large explosive blast to envelop her. The heat of Lagos’ Bala and Cero had been enough to turn sand into glass in Hueco Mundo. Let’s see how Yetsuna’s sand would match as compared to her homelands.
Post by Yetsuna Yishnir on May 7, 2017 20:55:50 GMT -5
Some how the arrancar managed to dodge the trap Yetsuna had set in motion, through from the looks of it it appeared to be some incredible stroke of luck rather then any kind of skill. The fox's movement speed wasn't anything overly impressive, Yetsuna easily followed her movements as she made her way above the roof tops and hovered in mid-air. The shinigami knew the female hadn't used a step technique to evade, her movement speed was far too low for her to have used one, and even if she had top notch reflexes at the speed she moved there was no way skill was the deciding factor in her escape. Seemed like the universe didn't want this fight to be a one shot battle. Fair enough she could do this the hard way as well.
Yetsuna was now on the street surface looking up at the girl as she spoke, attempting to gloat about how her gambit had failed and she had betrayed the nature of her power somehow giving her an advantage, that cockiness of her's would come in handy when she showed the real abilities of Ishio, like his ability to summon stone. People always assumed because she was a geomancer that going airborne was a way to devoid her of her powers, but more often then not that thought always bit them in the ass, much to her benefit. The arrancar seemed to praise herself for her speed, something to made Yetsuna scoff quietly to herself, she had fought far faster opponents in the past, this girl wasn't going to pose a problem to her because of her speed.
The girl then paused for a moment leveling the tip of her blade at Yetsuna before she sensed a burst of reaitsu, it was a bala, she knew almost instinctively before the girl had even said the words. The technique was a favorite of arrancars due to its fast speed and high power, but its overuse also made it a fairly easy technique to recognize. Yetsuna had two easy options to use to counter, she could either summon a shield using her powers or dodge using a shunpo. In reality there was a third option and that was to just take the hit, but she had learn from past experience a lot of Hueco Mundo techniques tend to explode, and unless she covered her face it would do a bit of damage, and she didn't have the speed to protect her head.
As the bala let loose Yetsuna used another shunpo this time flying straight up into the air to get on level ground with her opponent, she was in an unarmed fighters pose, her eyes peering through the thick set of spikes on the ends of her knuckle weapons, "Hard to believe someone like you took down my squadmates," she said her voice even yet still condensing. The shinigami then used another shunpo this time to get behind the girl, but just as she appeared she'd disappear again, moving from behind to in front of her, her fist moving at 800 speed to make contact with the girls solar plexus with the same amount of force behind it.
Yetsuna was already feeling some of the strain from using her stone to move her body, it typically wasn't a move she liked to do for extended periods of time where it ran the risk of doing more harm then good. If the next blow or two didn't work she would have to shift back to using her own speed to power her attacks, not as strong, but better for a long term strategy, and while she was far from impressed with her opponent so far she wasn't so stupid as to completely underestimate her.

The Shinigami Yetsuna had used a Shunpo to evade the Bala, and as a logical result the Bala would slam into the earth she was previously standing on. Then, she made an observation as the Bala exploded. The earth down below seeing it had the strength of 600 apparently wasn't nearly as damaged as it normally would be. Just from that observation it told Lagos that the stone was strong and that she wouldn't want to be caught in something so durable. However, it seemed Yetsuna had appeared at level ground level to face Lagos face to face. The Arrancar made sure to keep an eye on the ground but yet to her slower opponent. She analyzed the speed of the Shunpo and it was slower than her Sonido for sure. Her enemy then assumed a fighting pose that Lagos assumed was boxing or some other ludicrous martial art. However, there was something that Lagos saw that was rather...interesting.
Her enemy had used stone to form spiked knuckles, but for what purpose made her curious. She wasn't going to let herself be hit by any of those attacks for sure. It was then that Lagos heard a statement of disbelief from Yetsuna saying she wondered how Lagos took down her squad mates. “Hard to believe? It's simply because most of them were trash. They came running at me and I took that opportunity to strike. It was easy...very easy.” Lagos grinned before making a statement. “I find it hard to believe that a woman with such...assets and majesty is stuck as a Shinigami. I will need to fix that soon.” the woman had then used her step technique to move at the speed of 2500 at Lagos which her eyes could track without too much duress seeing she's also fought faster people and moved faster than that regularly. The armored woman was stepping behind her, and Lagos’ eyes had followed with a slight twist of her head before watching her appear and then step a third time. The woman used her senses and practice of moving at fast speed to see Yetsuna was appearing right in front of her. It was an attempt to throw Lagos off focus so that she could reappear and then launch an offensive.
Lagos had at that moment saw Yetsuna move at a faster speed than she did normally. It was abnormal speed and movement and that certainly was interesting. Lagos’ eyes had widened at the speed she was sure Yetsuna shouldn't have, but in the end it really didn't matter. The fist was aiming to slam into her chest, and so she used the Sonido to appear to the side of whatever Yetsuna’s punching arm was at the speed of 4550. The sound of the Sonido was obvious but at this moment, Lagos’ blade was already aimed for a horizontal swing aimed to slice Yetsuna’s head off with a single slice. One thing though was that the blade was glowing yellow as she coated her blade within the power of Cero with her mastery. Seeing Yetsuna was already in the motion of punching, and Lagos was on the side of the arm making the motion, there was no chance she could raise her arm in time to defend herself. Lagos’ blade would swing and if her strike was successful, not only would Yetsuna’s throat be sliced, but a powerful Cero in the shape of a crescent would push on her whole being, blazing heat sending her crashing down to the earth and onto the ground before exploding.
Assuming she had another method of defending herself or even being able to block the sword in some other method, Lagos’ right hand would already have charged a very small compressed projectile masked in the presence of the Cero on her blade. “Bala.” A yellow Bala would fly from Lagos’ finger before it would slam into Yetsuna using its force and mass to slam the Vice Captain down to earth before exploding in a mass of heat. There was only one weak spot in the armor to exploit and that was Yetsuna’s head. However, an explosion and projectile of such mass and size as the Bala and Cero of Lagos would prove to be nigh difficult and impossible to dodge even if using the Shunpo seeing the size of her Cero was formidably larger than Bala and her Bala was the size of a small car. Thus Yetsuna would most likely be struck by either or projectile.
Assuming this was the case, Lagos would look down to the Vice Captain with a look of boredom on her face. “Is that it? Don't you have any of those magical Kido spells or something to face me? If not, I'm sorely disappointed. I don't know if you are dead or not, but if you are alive then come and get me.” Lagos stood in the sky looking down on Yetsuna as a cool wind would blow through the air with Lagos taking deep breaths. Her chest would rise up and down rhythmically as she grinned. Hopefully Yetsuna would be able to get back up and force Lagos to enter Ressurecion. After all, having one's throat cut or maybe their head cut off wasn't always a sure way to kill someone. Lagos was not the kind to cut fun short and with Yetsuna being a rare treat of a vice captain, Lagos wanted to see more of what she could do. Hopefully she was still alive.

I'm gonna take this moment to drop this thread, I can already tell I'm not going to have fun with where this thread is heading (No, it has nothing to do with the fact I can lose this thread).
