Thread Title: When Opposites Meet (R NDE) Participants: Jak vs. Izanami World: Human World Death Setting: Non Death Enabled Rating: R Location: The dark streets of Karakura Town at night. The autumn air is crisp and cool. Clouds rolled through the night sky obscuring the moon and stars even more Special Conditions: N/A Circumstances: Jak just wrapped up a fight reminiscing about his past. During the fight, he let some of his energy loose able to be sensed by anyone in the area. Sensing something dangerous in the area it would make sense for izanami to check things out.
Jak moved his head to the side avoiding a punch from a punk kid. Another one tried to charge him from behind aiming to kick the nakkibakki square in the back. Jak would quickly grab the arm of the punching punk, and quickly toss him into the other punk. The two hit the ground with a thud. The rest of the group hesitated. They could barely fallow the movements of the half demon, and that was with him slowing himself down. Though this fight was not challenging at all, it brought back memories.
Jak would recall all the times that he had been in similar fights throughout his life. He had always been a kid prone to action. When someone would pick a fight with him, he would always answer them. It didn't matter how many there were, didn't matter how big or strong they were, Jak would always fight them. No matter how many times his mother would scold him for fighting. He may have fought whenever someone wanted to, he would never go out and pick a fight. He was too gentle for that.
Jak was always picked on, and feared for his arm. Everyone from kids his own age, to the adults around him always thought that he was some sort of freak. As Jak would grow, so would his resentment to the world. It wasn't until his mother's death when he was a young teen that his anger really took hold. After that he would go out at night looking for punks like these to fight to vent his anger out on. It would work for a while. Then as his powers grew, so did the power of his opponents. He would go from fighting street punks to hollows.
It was that little hobby that lead him to take a job with U.E. helping people with their spiritual problems, and getting paid for it. It was a sweet deal. He snapped back to reality to find that all of the punks were fleeing. Those that were not unconscious were carrying the ones that were. "Man things really have gotten real easy for me." He said to himself. He beat them up and didn't even have to concentrate to do it. Maybe he needed to lay off them for a while. Then again, it wasn't like he was looking for a fight anymore. He just liked to walk at night.
Jak looked at his right arm. It was glowing a little bit. It seemed that he had let his reiatsu flare up when he wasn't paying attention. Jak would keep his senses sharp, and his wits about him. He was on the look out for hollows more than anything else since they love to come and eat anything with the slightest bit of spiritual energy. He had just gotten done with his warm up, now he would need to find something to fight now that he had his blood pumping. "Come on hollows. Show me what you got tonight." He called challenging them.

Karakura is Under MY Protection ރ
I'm my own Person now. One that will destroy any who seek to harm Karakura
☠
Nami walked throughout the sleeping town of Karakura in the late chilling time of the year that caused her skin to shiver just a tiny amount bringing to attention that she might have worn something a little more helpful. It had been some time since she had been out walking around by herself as she had spent the better part of the last month trying to learn what it meant to be a human and how to live like one. She still couldn't grasp many of the basics and yet there was progress regardless of who looked upon what she was now an individual and not just a weapon something that she was never meant to become.
It was a strange sensation to be walking freely without either of the other two with her to look after what she was doing. This was something that Nami felt she needed to do in order to truly figure out what she should and shouldn't be as a person and not just a tool. She was no longer under the control of Satsujun or anyone else in Xcution and yet there was still the possibility that Soul Society was going to treat her the same way. The thought had been crossing through her mind since she had decided to switch sides and become one of their Substitutes in Karakura, but it seemed they weren't particularly intent on telling her what to do and who to kill like Xcution.
All she had been told was that her duty was to protect Karakura Town from spiritual forces that would wish to do harm to the normal people and other allies of Soul Society. She was suppose to kill any Hollow that arrived in Karakura or Arrancar that much she knew for sure and had been doing over the last month without fail. Red had been very helpful in everything and Nami was finally starting to feel in every manner of speaking. So now as she walked throughout Karakura she thought it strange that she sensed what felt like something similar to a Hollow yet much darker and different.
Whatever it was she couldn't take the chance of it hurting any of the people or damaging Karakura since it was her job to protect everything in the town. She wasn't very far from the reiatsu that she was able to pick up and after a roughly a minute of running Nami stepped around a corner onto a new side walk to see what looked to be a young man. There was some blood on the ground around him and yet no body nor anything else. There was no mistaking it though this individual was the source of what she sensed.
Nami noticed something else though the right arm of this guy was glowing and from that glow she could see that the color of the arm was different from the rest of his body. Nami had never been assigned to kill a Nakkabakki or anything else from Hell in her time under Xcution's control so this was the first time she had come across one and she in all honesty didn't know what he was. He didn't waste any time though giving her more information as he screamed a challenge up at the air to any Hollow in the area to fight him. Nami didn't know what was going on, but she couldn't allow this guy to possibly bring Hollows into Karakura. "This town doesn't need more Hollows. Now who and what are you?" Nami spoke standing roughly fifteen feet away from the guy from behind.

Jak looked around waiting for the inevitable hollow attack. Oddly enough the night was rather still. He would relax his body, but still stay alert just in case. Some hollows were smarter than others after all. After a while, he figured that maybe this time, the hollows were not going come for him. Maybe he has grown too strong for most hollows to even try and take on. A wide grin would spread across his face. Maybe things were finally looking up for him. He could still feel something around him, but it didn't seem like a hollow.
"This town doesn't need more Hollows. Now who and what are you?" He turned seeing a woman standing a fair distance from him. She seemed rather rude, but then again he did just shout for hollows to come at him inviting them to fight. Jak just shrugged his shoulders at her first comment. "True, but hollows are always here, might as well kill them sooner rather than later." It was her question after that that bugged him slightly. Who was she demanding who and "what" he was without introducing herself first?
"You know that it is usually polite for people to introduce themselves before asking for another's. Jak squared up to her crossing his muscular arms across his chest. His leather vest kept him warm enough in the cool autumn air, and his jeans were dirty and torn from digging in the dirt, and all the fights that he had in them. His black sandals were held securely around his feet. The thick black chains around his right arm would shift slightly with Jak's arm movements clinking and clanking slightly.

Nami watched closing expecting at any moment for this guy to suddenly appear in front of her or for his body itself to vanish. She didn't know what he was or why he had just screamed towards the night sky begging Hollows to attack him. Such a thing was without any sort of logic which was something strange to her. Not the fact that he had done something illogical that wasn't surprising in the least she had seen it done by many things. What was surprising to the young girl was the fact she felt this way. Even when she had fought against others that did things without meaning or logic she felt nothing, but she just knew it to be worthless and didn't feel anything about it. Now it was like a sensation was coursing through her like she for once was judging someone and not being judged.
The guy though was quick to counter what she had just said and it brought Nami back to the matter at hand which wasn't herself. It seemed that this guy didn't have any problem bringing Hollows into Karakura just because normally they would come here anyway. Nami knew that he wasn't wrong there were always going to be more Hollows coming to Karakura due to the fact that they could never be completely wiped out and they came here of all places more than anywhere else in the Human World. She didn't quite get the motion that he maneuvered though shrugging his shoulders it didn't make sense it didn't serve a purpose so why did he do it?
The guy seemed to think that he could talk to her however he liked though even though if he could sense reiatsu it'd be obvious that she was a Fullbringer and thus posed no threat to Karakura. This guy was something else that Nami hadn't sensed before and hadn't been taught about which made him a threat. "I'm not usual. Who and what are you?!" Nami shouted at the young looking guy feeling the emotion by the name of anger starting to emerge from her core. It wasn't boiling or even hot compared to what she felt for others that gave her this sensation it was more like a humid day in summer how very strange it felt.
Nami wasn't intimidated by this guy even after he tried to make it perfectly clear that he believed himself capable of defending himself against her. He had a good physical build which implied that he had physical strength superior to what Nami could muster up now. What was strange though was still his arm and the metal chain that seemed to be wrapped around it. Nami was getting the feeling that she was going to find out this guys race through motion and not words. It didn't matter though that was how Nami had always come about information.
Post by Jak Halcom on Oct 17, 2016 21:27:25 GMT -5
It seemed that the girl didn't get the hint or didn't care. "I'm not usual. Who and what are you?!" She was clearly insistent that he answer her no matter what he said. Jak rubbed the back of his head with one of his hands trying to figure out the best way to answer her. He looked her over with his crimson eyes. There was nothing on her, that he could see, that showed him what group that she belonged to. There was no evidence that he should conceal that he was half demon, but noting showing that he should tell her either.
"I am just a mod soul trying to live life as peacefully as possible." He really hoped that she was the type that would be satisfied with that. His tone was trying to be sincere enough, but he couldn't help but sneak in a hint of sarcasm. He was having a good night too. Cleaning the streets of the scum and villainy, ready to take on any hollows that would normally be prowling the area by now. However he was not completely opposed to the idea for fighting the girl if she persisted. If things ended here fine, but he will see it through to the end if needed.
He had a feeling that the hollows were cleared out for the time being. Unless he get some "exercise" he just get more and more restless, until he decided to find a fight himself. Part of him wanted to see her fall for the half assed ruse, but at the same time he wanted her not to be. He never met the girl before, and already she seemed to have a bone to pick with him. Might as well see if he couldn't get a rise out of her as well. "Now that I told you what I am, what about you? What gives you any authority here?"

Nami continued to stand roughly five feet in front of this muscular individual that as time passed seemed to get more and more annoyed. For whatever reason he didn't like getting questioned or perhaps he just didn't like the way that she was asking him? Nami didn't really understand yet at the same time didn't think it mattered in the least especially considering there was the fact that he might be one of the things that she was meant to get rid of in Karakura Town. She was the appointed guardian over the town at all times by Soul Society now and while she had been a warrior for Xcution she had always taken her orders seriously now was no different.
The guy moved one of his hands to the back of his head and appeared to be rubbing it as if it brought him . . . something? There didn't seem to be a point to the motion nor the action so why he was doing it was beyond Nami's understanding. It was true though that this guy wouldn't be able to find any sign of faction on Nami's attire due to the simple fact that she was facing him. The substitute badge that Amagai had bestowed upon her that signified her as a substitute Shinigami was attached to the back of her leather skirt almost like a belt or purse yet tight around her waist so that it wouldn't move or make noise. Nami by the same notion though couldn't see anything on the guy that would give away if he was a foe or just a simple spiritually aware human.
The chain on his arm though was giving her enough information to go on that he wasn't some ordinary human. That was when what she had just been thinking though was confirmed by the guy in front of her. It seemed that he was a Mod Soul. At the remark about trying to live life as peacefully as possible though Nami's void eyes shifted slightly in stern irritation. "Trying to get Hollows to attack Karakura is no peace." Nami was making it perfectly clear that she didn't like how this guy was acting nor what he was saying since his actions were proving what he was telling her was in fact to the truth.
As the guy asked what gave her any sort of authority in Karakura. Nami started to realize that this guy was just going to keep causing trouble even if it was passive aggressive trouble towards her. She had sensed Mod Soul reiatsu in the past though and what she had sensed from this guy wasn't the same. After he had been lying to her over the past few moments lying about what he actually happened to be wasn't out of the question either. It seemed that Nami was going to have to be forceful in order to get the information that she needed to know, but just to be safe she'd ask him one more time.
"What I am and how I have the authority over Karakura makes no difference to something like you. I know you're not a Mod Soul or at least that's not all you are. This is the last time I ask nicely. What are you?" Nami was making it very clear to this guy that if he kept lying to her this was going to end up in a fight between them. While anyone else might have found how Nami was acting to be rude in her own mind she was in fact being nice just like she had said. If she were still nothing more than a weapon this guy wouldn't have gotten a chance to speak combat would have began before he got that chance. It was time to find out though whether it would still come to that or if he'd tell her the truth.

"Trying to get Hollows to attack Karakura is no peace." Jak just rolled his eyes. Obviously his explanation earlier about hollows being inevitable was lost apon the woman. He never said he desired to fight them, but knew that it was coming sooner or later. "What I am and how I have the authority over Karakura makes no difference to something like you. I know you're not a Mod Soul or at least that's not all you are. This is the last time I ask nicely. What are you?" This girl was quickly getting on his nerves. He let his anger start to show on his face. His eyebrows furrowed, as he glared at her. If she thought she was getting something without giving anything she was mistaken.
"Then it seems we are at an impasse. IF you are unwilling to divulge anything about you, I feel no reason to continue talking about me. I was having a good night before you showed up, and I am not going to let you ruin that for me now. We are done here." He turned his back to woman and started to walk back the way he had originally came before fighting the punks from earlier. Who did that girl think she was? He asked himself. Who was she to interrogate him like that? He kept his senses directed behind him. Normally he wouldn't have even turned his back to her. He would have fought her right there if he wasn't in such a good mood earlier, and if he didn't have many better things to do.

Nami had been restraining herself over the last few minutes from the sensation to simply attack what she sensed coming from this guy. She still couldn't tell exactly what he was due to her inexperience with dealings of the demonic races. She could tell that he hadn't been lying about being a Mod Soul, but she already knew that he wasn't a pure one and because of his resistance to inform her of what he actually was Nami had to assume the worse.
This guy had attacked normal humans and while he hadn't killed them or harmed them in any serious way she couldn't be sure that he wouldn't do so the next time. Even her mind which lacked the understanding of other individuals that thought with emotions and not through logic she knew that such a thing was still possible. This all brought her to the final conclusion that she came to as the guy began to walk away, he was a threat to Karakura Town.
The short blonde haired female was still new to the sensations that others knew as emotions and one that continued to overwhelm her naturally calm if not blank mind was anger. Right now it was beginning to bubble yet not nearly more than a light burn as she held no true anger towards this guy. He was simply a threat to the area that she had been issued to protect. This was her purpose and he was a threat to that purpose.
While he had turned his back to her Nami had felt that it would have been a perfect opportunity to manifest her Fullbring and simply kill him. However, she felt perhaps it would be better to get information from him if at all possible. This was something new another thing that she had never done prior to being captured by Amagai and joining Soul Society. She never thought about gathering information from any of the targets that she had been assigned to kill from the organization so this was a first.
That's why instead of manifesting her Fullbring right away and going to a quick kill slash with the large claymore Nami instead flowed her reiatsu into the ground below her feet. Executing Soul Dominance Nami would command the soul of the earth directly in front of this guy to rise up in the form of a stone wall that was slightly wider than his body while being just a bit shorter than his full height. If all went well then this guy was going to be stopped by the wall or walk right into it.
Nami would manifest her Fullbring in the next instant the long claymore being held in her right hand at her side as she starred at the tall strange entity. "I'll ask you one more time what are you?" Nami was trying the best that she could to be logical and avoid killing this thing, but it was falling into the category of things she was meant to protect Karakura against which meant that pretty soon she would have no reason to talk or hold back.

This was a surprising amount of maturity from Jak. He wasn't usually one to walk away from a fight, but some fights were just not worth fighting. He took a couple deep breaths to calm his nerves. He could feel himself shaking from trying to contain everything. He could her his chain rattling slightly. He closed his eyes and tried to focus on the calming techniques his old martial arts master taught him. He took another deep breath thinking of a life in the turbulent wind coming to rest in a gentle stream. The stream carrying the leaf down river to a still lake. That is what he focused on. The calm surface like glass reflecting the images of the trees and animals around it.
Then something shattered the image. He felt something going on around him and stopped. He opened his crimson eyes to see a large wall of stone suddenly erected before him. It was slightly shorter than he was, but just as thick as he was. The anger came filling back. He felt something else from her as well. It didn't seem quite like a release, but something similar to it. "I'll ask you one more time what are you?" The question held the threat of combat, but this time, this time Jak was willing to oblige her. He slowly turned himself around with a large grin on his face. She finally gave him a reason to fight her. She just had to push him this far.
"Why don't I show you instead." He said darkly. His reiatsu suddenly flared to life, and his arm started to burn brighter than ever. The glow would travel throughout his body as his entire body started to heat up. His body would then be hot enough to catch fire, but the fire did not burn him. He would grow another foot right before her eyes, and a second pair of arms would sprout just under his normal pair of arms. Black gauntlets with four katana like blades covered his hands which ringed together as he hit the blades against each other sending sparks in all directions. Chain tattoos would appear all over his body, snaking around his chest, arms and legs.
The released Jak would look down at her and growl popping his neck in anticipation. A pair of large wings would sprout from his back blazing with intense heat. It seemed that he set the very road they stood on fire. "Know that you brought this on yourself." He said before seeming to disappear using the mod soul step technique, Caelumintro, to move past her in a blink of an eye. If she had stayed where she was when he passed, she would get burned by the trail of fire caused by her wings. He would also be moving faster than the usual Caelumintro. His peonix wings allowed him to move four times as fast when using any kind of step technique. If she got burned by the fire, she would suffer moderate soul burns on top of physical burns by the train of fire spanning eight feet from his body to wing tip.

Nami had commanded the soul of the earth just beyond this strange boy causing it to rise upwards in the form of a wall that just now cut off the movements of the individual in front of her. Nami wasn’t sure what he was if perhaps he was something like her or something else entirely that she had never encountered, but what she did know was she had to find out whether or not he was a threat to Karakura.
She had been assigned as the protector of Karakura Town by Amagai who was allowing her to live her life as a human being and not a weapon. This was her duty and above all even her curiosity to learn what it meant to be a human Nami felt that fulfill her duty was the most important thing she could possibly do and she wasn’t going to let anything keep her from doing just that.
The individual turned around though now displaying a wide grin across his face that to a normal person would cause discomfort or perhaps signal a warning to them yet for Nami it held no intention nor meaning. Her lack of social skills and development around others left her unable to perceive the significant of the grin or anything meant by it. To her it was just another facial expression that she didn’t understand.
That was when the individual declared that he was going to show her what he was and Nami was able to sense the massive spike in his reiatsu signature that signals to her he was releasing his true power. Grabbing ahold of her dog tags the tiny metal objects manifested themselves as Nami’s Fullbring the massive claymore held in her right hand across her body as the individual in front of her grew and his body changed.
Nami was at a loss for what this boy actually was for this transformation wasn’t something that she had ever been taught by the organization or faced off against in battle. The closest thing she could compare it to was the release form of an Arrancar yet that didn’t seem to fit either as the sensation that she was getting from his reiatsu was vastly different than that of an Arrancar. Whatever he was though it was sure that this battle was now unavoidable.
This guy in front of her was quickly changing in appearance going from a male that was only a small amount taller than her to one that was much bigger with an additional set of arms. The additional set of arms looked to be exactly the same as the ones that he had possessed from the start, but now both of his arms appeared to be equipped with bladed weapons. He was definitely turning into an opponent that Nami knew she would have to face off against seriously from the start and not hold anything back.
She knew that she more than likely had to get some distance from him though when his body began to ignite with flames yet he didn't appear to be harmed in the slightest. He possessed what seemed like multiple abilities confined within a single body which was something that Nami hadn't actually come across prior in her experience as a weapon. Massive tattoos that appeared to resemble chains spread across the now massive body of muscle in front of her that was literally on fire and Nami although unafraid knew that caution was in her favor at the moment.
She focusing her reiatsu the Fullbringer clad in black leather would vanish from Jak's sight just as he had looked down at her and started to growl. The large wings that would sprout from his back just as he executed his own step technique forwards leaving nothing, but the flames of his body in the location that they both had just been occupying. In the following moment Jak would more than likely reappear some distance away from where he had been standing while Nami would reappear near an alleyway.
Holding her pain inward by biting down on her lower lip which now began to bleed heavily the blonde Fullbringer pulled off the left leather arm band that was engulfed in flames. Nami's left arm was burnt. Her left hand was already starting to turn a different color as the flames as scorched her flesh leaving it blistered and purple with the veins clearly visible and pain overwhelming the section of her body. Up her left arm suffered similar damage yet the further up the less damage seemed to be present until past her elbow there wasn't any damage from the flames.
Looking down at her arm Nami exhaled her breath slowly turning to see the trail of flames in the street that whatever that boy was had left behind in his path. Whatever he was he wasn't weak and he was fast enough that he managed to injury her even while she had executed Bringer Light. This didn't look good, but Nami had a duty to protect Karakura and right now this guy was some sort of threat at least in her eyes as the guardian of the human world city.
The alleyway that she had appeared near Nami quickly ran into turning right in order to hide herself from sight. She knew that if the guy was able to sense reiatsu he'd be able to find her, but as far as she knew staying out of sight would buy her at least a few moments. Once she was inside of the alleyway Nami would use soul command to increase the height of her jump enabling her to reach the top of the corresponding building to her right. Now roughly thirty feet off the ground Nami was able to look outwards and try to find the threat.
She was ready to face him down or at least as she as she could be now that her left hand was virtually useless. Her Fullbring though that was active and would enable this guy to pinpoint Nami so long as he could sense reiatsu. Nami had witnessed his speed in this form and was planning on him appearing either in front of her or behind her as she stood right near the ledge of the building. Her senses all put on high alert Nami would wait for the approach of this foe and then counter him in one single stroke of her claymore.

Once Jak had finished his step and looked around for his opponent. It seemed that she was not too keen on giving him a good fight. He growled irritated. She was the one who wanted this fight, so why isn't she fighting him? He knew that she had her release active, and even with his limited sensory skills, he could track her. His head snapped to the ally where she ducked into like a rat trying to flee the cat. His first instinct was to go in after her. She would have a harder time swinging her large sword in the tighter space. He shook his head. No it was no fun to try and catch her. He could sense where she was going anyway and could just intercept her.
He ran at the building that she was going for and used his mighty strength to rocket straight up into the sky. He reached a couple stories into the air before he used his wings to take over the ascent. It was slower for him to use his wings, but he was already above her, so it wasn't like he needed to be in any sort of rush. He kept track of the female fighter. He felt her making her way up the building. He smiled evily as he put the bottom set of hands in a circle aiming at the roof waiting for her to land. Once she had landed on the roof, he would rotate both his upper set of hands around, one in a clock wise motion and the other in a counter clock wise motion. With a flick of his wrist he brought his fingers up and a geyser of fire would erupt around her.
If she did not move out of the ten foot circle, she would be roasted alive by the flames shooting form the roof. No doubt the sudden flames would also give a scare to anyone on the top floor of he building. It wasn't Jak's fault. It was her's for getting into such a position. If anyone was hurt because of this fight, it was all on her. That was what Jak kept telling himself. Still he doubted the purpose of the fight. He knew that she wasn't going to let him walk away when he tried. It had to be her fault. Still was there more he could have done to avoid it? Jak kept an eye on the building below him. He was not going to let her get away from him, and surprise him with a sneak attack.

It seemed that this boy was more than just bigger and more aggressive than her Nami realized now as she turned into the dark alley of the Karakura streets that she had been upon when she came across the boy when he had beaten up the normal humans of the town that she had been ordered to protect above all else. Nami had at first only seen him as someone that was bigger than her physically, possibly stronger than her yet beyond that all she could tell was that she could tell he felt similar to a Mod Soul. She had fought against a few Mod Souls in the past while the organization had been in control of her yet this boy didn't feel the same way.
She could tell that there was something different about him and had been able to tell that since she had first sensed his reiatsu. At the moment it was quite clear to her that she should have investigated him further prior to engaging him in combat. This new form that he had taken on in front of her was obviously some sort of release. What release it was though was something that Nami hadn't faced off against in the past. She had fought against the forces of the Vandenreich, the Soul Society and even Hueco Mundo. All of the races that aligned themselves with those groups had faced off against Nami and yet she had never faced off against any sort of release like this one.
The closest thing that she could compare it to was a Arrancar's release yet that was definitely not what this boy was for he felt far more like a Mod Soul than a Hollow or any kind. Her side was in pain from the burns that she had suffered from the boy as he had executed some sort of step technique in an attempt to strike her right away. Even though she had executed Bringer Light she hadn't been fast enough to evade him completely which meant that she was at an extreme disadvantage. He possessed more arms and seemed to have the ability to generate fire from any part of his body meaning that close combat while her strongest method of combat might be suicidal to attempt against him.
Nami couldn't tell the exact location of this boy based on her ability to sense reiatsu all she knew was that he was coming near her still meaning that he was taking this battle seriously and was going to do everything that he could to emerge victorious. Getting out of the alley Nami jumped from it using the soul of the cement beneath her feet to enhance the height that she was able to achieve enabling her to reach the top of the building to her right. That didn't seem to help her though as she landed on the roof of the building only to see the large wings of fire that emerged from the boy fly up on her right side. This boy knew right where she was and although he had believed he'd get there with a few more moments to spare he was in the better position.
He wasn't standing on the roof of the building he was flying and at the moment he held his hand out in front of him and then Nami felt the spike in his reiatsu. She knew that something was going to happen right now and she'd be safer to simply get to a new location. So even though she had just gotten onto the top of the roof Nami motioned forward placing her claymore tip against the roof of the building and then keeping her right arm flexed and straight Nami executed a forwards flip with her claymore supporting her body and enabling her to reach a greater height and distance than she would have been able to achieve with only her hands.
As she moved upside down she could feel the heat of the fire that suddenly shot upwards from the section of the roof that she had just been standing upon. It was hot and while she had only just barely managed to get out of the way it was causing slight pain across her skin from the sheer heat that it possessed. Inhaling as much oxygen as she could while she flipped herself out of the way of the flaming tower that this boy had just summoned in an attempt to attack her. Nami as her feet touched back on the roof turned and faced the boy that was starring at her without a doubt now and began her attack against him.
Exhaling towards the boy suddenly what appeared to be snow would be sent flying outwards right towards him. This boy was using fire which meant that Nami might have a chance to overpower him with an ice like technique such as this which if successful and hit this boy his body would freeze causing potentially major harm to his body. Nami had to think of some way to make sure that close combat could be achieved without risking herself against this guy would she would have to actually accept the fact that she might lose against him. For the moment though holding her Fullbring in her right hand while the snow was sent flying towards this boy Nami continued her attempt to protect Karakura Town.
The twisted grin never left Jak's face as he felt the geyser of fire erupt on the roof top, even if the woman was able to avoid the attack by back flipping away from it. Now he was starting to embrace the fight, he didn't care who started the fight, he wanted to see it through. This was the fight that tonight was leading up to. The woman was agile, he would give her that. It would seem that she would be no slouch in close quarters combat, with that big sword that she has been carrying. He wanted to get up close again, but it seemed that she was too cowardly to do so, or rather, his own flames may be making her keep her distance. That gave him an idea.
Jak had a little more time left in this form, might as well make the most of it. He watched the woman land on another rooftop farther away from him, and release some sort of snow from her mouth. Jak didn't know what that was about, but he didn't want any part of it. He hated the cold, almost as much as he hated shinigami. Using his mighty wings, he was able to ascend and avoid the shot of the snowy stream, requiring a small burst of movement to make sure that nothing got too cold. He was higher up now almost forty feet. He would flap hard with his wings sending down feathers of fire raining down upon the fullbringer. This would shorten the duration of the wings slightly, but he wasn't worried.
Twenty long fire feathers would fall down onto her position, attempting to cover the this room in fire as well. She claimed to be the protector of the city, but how many buildings would be engulfed in flames by the time she is done dodging? The amount of collateral damage would be lower, if she took the hit! He would fly to keep up with the woman, keeping his distance, just in case that she tries to shoot anything else at him from a far. The fires that he had caused were starting to spread down the buildings roof tops. The occupants were fleeing the fire escapes spilling into the streets below. The wailing of scirencs could be heard, and people pointed and stared at the two combatants, those who were not more concerned with the fire burning their stuff.

She had jumped onto the new rooftop only a moment ago and now utilizing a technique that she had only learned a week or so ago Nami spewed out a massive amount of winter essence towards the adversary. Almost right away though Nami could see that her attack had failed as the opponent was visible up in the sky above her aim. She was ready to alter the aim of Frigid Soul so that the white foam would be sent upwards at him when she felt his reiatsu spike once again.
It was obvious that he was preparing his own attack against her and due to what she had seen so far in truth she wasn't all that sure what he was going to do beyond another fiery technique. Kneeling downwards Nami placed her left hand on the roof that she stood upon and executed Soul Dominance. As the feathers of flame were descending down towards her Nami would fall from the roof as its body opened up beneath her similar to how a mouth would open allowing her to get inside of the building where the flames couldn't reach her.
This was where the battle really mattered. Nami was out of sight yet knew the general location of her enemy. She ran through the hallway of the building until she found a window and looked around quickly. After a moment she was able to see the enemy. Focusing her reiatsu Nami wasted no time as suddenly there would be the loud sound of a window shattering only for Nami to appear directly in front of the flame winged white haired adversary with the bad attitude. Her claymore posed horizontally Nami thrust the blade forwards set to strike the boy in his stomach. In he moved in any direction her blade would surely still gain a glancing blow which would be all she needed from this point on.
