"Come on. Fix your tie. You want to look presentable don't you?"
"You know I am not a big fan of interacting with people in a social setting."
"Yes I know. But this is your Co-Worker is it not? She was even graceful enough to have invited me along. Isn't that sweet? I knew you could make friends in your work environment. Whether it took a month or years. I believe you can achieve it."
Pavel and Valentina stood in a gorgeously lit bathroom with marble floors so polished you could see the reflection of the ceiling chandaleirs. The bathroom walls were painted yellow with a single painting of a field placed directly infront of the toilet. Valentina stood next to Pavel as he stared in the large mirror. His face as blank and unemotional as ever his hair combed neatly to the right. Pavel was dressed in his "normal" attire or what Valentina would consider his formal attire. A black suit jacket, black slacks, white dress shirt and a red tie. Once he was sure was dressed properly he placed a silver watch onto his left wrist and turned to Valentina. To him this was his normal attire something that he wore everyday whether it was for a mission or if he was in a casual setting. But the way Valentina looked at him it was as if she was looking at a movie star who had just stepped out of the limosouine. Cameras flashing to catch every angle of the man.
She was looking at him with such love and admiration all he could do was look a little to the left to avoid eye contact. She was dressed in a light blue dress that went a little past her kness. The dress itself had sleeves that extended to the elbows. What she wore over the dress was a red rain jacket that was reflected a little of the light. Her hair left alone waved behind her. And her little squared glasses rested just below her eyes. She only needed them to read and could see relatively fine without them. Valentina placed her hands onto Pavel's cheekse and raised them a little. Making Pavel smile a little. "And what did I tell you about smiling? Smiling a little will make you a lot more approachable." Pavel placed his hands onto her arms and continued to stare at her. As if he was telling her to stop without really telling her to stop. She smiled in return "And what did I tell you about those eyes. If you just fishstare at people it will make them uncomfortable. Stare at them as if you want them to approach you. Not as if you were dead."
He smiled just a little and she removed her hands. Valentina was an idealist. She imagines that the world can and will be a better place if people were just a little nicer to each other. If people were just a little kinder to one another then everyone will be better people. She believed that if everyone tried that anyone can be a good person. And because of that she was also idealistic when it came to interacting with others. Formality when meeting people related to work, this is why she was dressed in a light blue dress and black flats while Pavel wore jet black dress shoes. The way Pavel looked at Valentina was as if she was the lit fire in a cabin that has been blocked off by a snow storm. His only form of light and warmth.
"And no accents too. I know you, Pavel. I know when you have your fake accents and I know when you are being genuine. So please be genuine with this person and I will guarentee you will get along with them more. Trust me! Ehe" she said with a little giggle. With that they were off. When Pavel and Valentina were invited to dinner they decided to take a decently sized room in Tokyo. Apparently Hebika has been residing with XSG # 2 Shizuka in Karakura town. Rather than staying there Pavel wanted Valentina to enjoy being in Japan a little longer. To see the lights, the colors and to see the people. She did not like venturing too far from home but with Him she was fine with leaving home just for a bit.
The drive to their destinationw was brief but to both of them seemed just right. With their car passing many of the shops and stores with people walking by. Many dressed in long coats and a scarf around their necks. It was fall after all and the temperature was beginning to drop. As they passed the trees on their way there, the couple would see the beautiful orange of dead leaves falling to the ground. Reminding a little bit of home when the fall would come and they would just stay in their communal apartments when they were younger. By the time they got to their destination Pavel seemed a little more relaxed. By the time they got to the door, Valentina held onto Pavels arm as he knocked on it. When there was an answer Valentina was the first one to bow, trying her best to speak Japanese as she only knew Russian fluently. "It is pleasure to meet co-worker. My name is Valentina and thank you for having us over."
