Height/Weight: [6’1”/ 210 lbs.]
Physical Description:
Face Claim: Obito Uchiha
Douma’s body is special. That’s not to say that he is exceptionally handsome or tall or burly. While he is decently muscular, he’s not exceptionally defined. He is fairly tall, but the man doesn’t stand face-to-face with Yao Ming or Shaquille O'neal. He definitely turns the eyes of women with his good-looks and overall attractiveness, but he doesn't have divine beauty. His body is certainly special, but only because of the nature of the actual body. Not its outward appearance.
Douma’s new form is artificial. The body was based off that of a Kasumi’Oji Shinigami that Douma slayed. However, through his powers, he was able to create a new mirror body. Everything that Douma’s body is made from is an artificial replication of a real, organic body. Only his exterior appears “normal.” However, everything inside his body other than his nostrils, ear canals, and mouth, have a reflective surface. He has a mirror heart, mirror muscles, and even mirror blood. Otherwise, his body acts and functions just like any other would because it holds the core of his soul, but when he enters release, his body may be able to act as a weapon too.
Douma’s face, or the face of the body he created, is rather attractive. A solid 7 out of 10, and there’s a few reasons why three points were taken off. His black hair is short and smooth, settling itself in orderly chaos above his eyebrows. His facial features are gentle around the cheek bones, chin, and nose, giving him a youthful appearance. Maybe a few years ago, he would have been some sugary eye-candy that really pulled the attention of the ladies.
The main reason why Douma’s face isn’t completely attractive is the damage done to the entire right side of his face. It seems like, in some dangerous battle, it was completely and utterly scorched. The epidermal tissue never seemed to heal properly, so the skin is paler and loose with several lines revealing folds in the skin. It makes what could have been a handsome face seem dark and scary.
Speaking of dark and scary, let’s talk about the eyes, because those stand out above all else. His right eye is blood red. Not bloodshot, just completely red, with black tears equally distanced from each other around the pupil. The dark anger in his gaze seems to emanate from that one eye, like all his rage and hatred is condensed and held behind that pupil. The eye’s positioning on the burnt side of his face only makes it seem more malevolent.
Douma’s left eye is completely different from his right. It lacks any color, taking a pale white hue. However, black rings formed with the pupil at their center. The eye is empty of any emotion. It is simply cold and distant, judging all those around it. Watching indifferently. That eye expresses Douma’s elite nature. He is gaze is like that of a God, deciding who he allows to exist or who he decides to eliminate.
Those two eyes are the only features of his face that peer through the mask he wears. Douma’s iconic mask is all the world knows of him. It represents him. The mask itself is bone-white and covers the top of his head, almost like a helmet. It has the same rings as his left eye, though the tears on his right appear as holes. Two act as slots for his eyes while the third appears black on his forehead. It combines both aspects of his eyes, clearly depicting the nature of the Angel of Silence.
The rest of Douma's face isn't terrible. His eyebrows are thinner than most guys, but not artificially thin and tended to. His nose is relatively normal. If anything, it's a bit on the smaller side regarding how much it arches outward and a bit longer than average noses. Those details are small and only apparent when the nose is examined very closely. He also doesn't have any of those unpleasant nose hairs poking out of his normal-sized nostrils. He isn't a very hair individual overall. While he could grow out a notable mustache or beard in a week if he desired, he keeps himself well shaved. There is only a slight stubble after not shaving for a day, but he usually doesn't go out without tending to his facial hair.
On the topic of hair, he's ironically hairier in other parts of his body. His chest has good deal of black hair forming small curls all around it, as do his pits. Other places have hair too, but that might not be too appropriate to include in the app. He might not have the most muscular body, but he is certainly fit. His body is nicely toned without excess fat poking out. However, he's not skinny to the bone. His abdominal muscles are nice and flat with the lines hinting toward a two-pack lightly etched into their shape. All in all, his body's pretty attractive.
Coming back to hair, there's some of that all along his arms as well. Well, not all along his arms. Mostly between his elbow and wrist with only faint hairs coming off the base of his fingers and knuckles. His arms are a couple of inches longer than normal for his height, giving him slightly more reach in battle. They're still firm, however. He's got substantial biceps that form a curve on his upper arm as well as triceps. However, he's not much more muscular than a man with good fitness. He doesn't have the strength of an professional athlete but rather someone who wins amateur leagues. His hand-size matches the length of his arms, making it easy for him to palm a basketball. His hands are smooth and gentle, showing that he didn't do much labor with those hands. He always had a nice pair of white gloves when he wielded his sword, though small bumps began appearing when that body became Douma's. The masked man didn't live with the same easy lifestyle as the nobles.
But yeah, let's get back to hair because that's so interesting. He's got hair on his legs. And I'm not talking about his thighs and groin, you pervert. Let's keep this strictly at the knees and below. Hair runs down his legs, though there isn't so much that it forms a jungle. It's enough to notice though. The hair mostly sticks to the side of his legs with his shins, but some dot his round, dense calves. Most of the hair stops at about his ankles, though some is present at the top of his foot and the knuckles of his toes. His feet are nice and smooth at the bottom, as opposed to rough and exerted. It shows that he didn't have a very difficult past. Instead, as a Kasumi'Oji, he always had shoes to protect his feet.
Douma's attired usually didn't vary. He wore black pants almost all of the time. Those pants were always the same though. They varied between jeans and other fabrics, but the fact that they were either black, carbon-colored, or dark grey never changed. Above the belt that secured his pants around his waist and weapons on his hip, Douma usually wore a shirt of some kind. Whether it was long-sleeve or a t-shirt depended on the day. Usually, the shirt too was black or another dark color. However, there are cases when that may not be true. Over the shirt, he wore one of two trench coats. Sometimes, it would be one made of a cotton-like fabric that kept him nice and warm. The other was far thinner, though its smooth, plastic-like surface opposed the rain and wind. Both were black and both kept him warm. If it was particularly wind, he might pop the color to protect his neck.

Dislikes:
The Primera Espada, Adalo De Mona - After Adalo easily defeated Kagami, he developed a distinguished hate for the self-proclaimed King of Arrancar. It became Kagami's goal to bring the man down by surpassing him in every area. That includes strength, influence, and legacy. Douma would become a name that everyone feared.
The Moral - There is no room for ethics in the real world, and Kagami learned that lesson quickly. The only way to survive was to grow stronger as quickly as possible before getting consumed by a more powerful being. If people deem taking short cuts as unjust or illegal, then they deserve to die for their weakness.
The Weak - Douma's goal is all about expansion, and he has no room for weakness among his allies. If Douma affiliates himself with anyone, he's going to make sure that they can hold their own against big sharks. And if someone begs for mercy, then they are too weak to live the remainder of their pitiful life.
Saeki Kuchiki - The most manipulative, twisted woman Douma has ever come across. With her incredible ability, she has the power to take the strongest man and bend him to her will. He feared her as much as he hated her, and for good reason. He only works alongside her because of the benefits she offers. But as a person, he can't stand her.
Charity - Douma doesn’t do anything just because of some good will. He always needs something in exchange. He’ll either call for a favor in the future or create close business ties with others. However, he doesn’t just hand out charity or expend resources for any reason other than to help himself.
The Gotei 13 - Douma, a long time ago, was apart of this corrupt establishment. Each of the captains with each of their squads could do whatever without being checked. They argued that they were protecting the human world, but Soul Society is more focused on pushing its own agenda forward. He knew how the political atmosphere in Seireitei functioned and the impurity that stained it. The Shinigami were just a bunch of hypocrites.
Las Noches - Las Noches has the opposite problem that Seireitei does. It is far too chaotic. There is conflict between the Espada and constant disagreements in interest that hurts the efficiency of the group. It’s a flawed system, but at least it’s honest. And at least Douma can still work with the individual Espada if they have similar interests.
The Kuchiki - Well, not all Kuchiki, but most. Sozen Kuchiki is the most manipulative at all of all recognized Kuchiki, though his sister Saeki is a cut above even him. Hokori is a vile blind dog that follows Sozen's will. Some Kuchiki might not be people worth Douma's deliberate hate, but the concept of them prioritizing their family above all else doesn't make sense. Sozen trains them as members of his personal army, and even then, Douma will surpass each and every one of them.
The Vandenreich - Back when Kagami Murai was alive, he had an unpleasant experience with a Vandenreich attack that led to the destruction of his suit and mockery from Sozen Kuchiki. While he also hates the Vandenreich for their false religion and misunderstanding of “God,” the former reason also contributes to his contemptuous attitude toward the Vandenreich.
Himself - Douma hates himself. Self-loathing is a core piece of his anger. He hated himself as Kagami for losing Manami, for losing to Hokori, and for losing to Adalo. That self-contempt has turned into an integral part of his character that drives his hate forward.
Alcohol - It takes disgusting. Each shot is accompanied with a repulsive after taste. Beer is absolutely disgusting. Wine's taste is a bit more pleasant, but only the best wines. The rest aren't worth the affects of alcohol. Kagami spent all his time drinking to forget his past and enjoy the present. Douma plans on doing the opposite. It was all about working toward the future. He'd never succumb to the attractions of alcohol again.
Sunny Days - Douma hated it when there wasn't a cloud in sight and the sun warmed everyone up. He didn't mind it getting a bit hotter, but it was disgusting to think that the weather had such a strong affect on peoples' attitudes. They were happy for no reason. It was an empty happiness. The only happiness worth achieving for him was accomplishing his goal of defeating Adalo De-Mona.
Empty Words - Kagami used to talk a lot. Douma can't stand it anymore. He only speaks when he has something to say. If people start spouting empty words, he'll eliminate them. It's as simple as that. And if they talk big about their fighting ability, Douma will put it to the test. Actions speak louder than words.
Likes:
A Good Fight - Douma has a lot of pent up rage, and fighting against powerful opponents allows him to turn that rage into an outlet. Sometimes, if he finds himself against someone that puts up a half-decent fight, he may even elongate the battle to truly make his foe suffer and understand his strength.
Illegal Items - There's a lot that is produced in the black market that Soul Society could never comprehend. Douma is constantly discovering new illicit goods that he could benefit off of by smuggling, shipping, and even producing himself by taking over a manufacturing faction.
People with Spine - Douma appreciates it when people stand up for themselves and don't take shit. It earns his respect, even when they are his enemy. However, it won't draw any mercy from the criminal. He has his own goals and agendas, and even if he respects someone for sticking to their resolve, if he is more powerful, he'll erase them.
Power - Might is right. That is the only law that governs this world. Douma hopes to acquire as much power as possible and create an unstoppable force behind him that no one can oppose. Not Soul Society, not Las Noches, and not Adalo.
Exotic People - Douma is always looking for new business partners to add to his network of mutually beneficial relationships. The more interesting the people he finds are, the most variety he has among his allies, and the stronger his criminal army gets.
Anarchy - Anarchy is an interesting guy. He holds an incredible amount of power, yet plays the game differently than Douma. Rather than creating a criminal organization behind him, he acts as an individual, and he does so with the power of an army behind him. He’s an ally Douma appreciates. That doesn't mean he trusts him, though.
Favors - When Douma does something “nice” for another person, although it may not seem like it at first, he’s going to be receiving some form of compensation. Sometime in the future, he will remind the receiver of his “good will” of their debt and ensure that they pay it.
Hotaru Masurao-Kuchiki - She was Kagami’s only friend, and a there’s still a reluctant affection for her in the masked man’s heart. He can’t hurt Hotaru, she meant too much to Kagami for Douma to eliminate her. He'd rather avoid her to prevent the non yet resolved internal conflict between Douma and Kagami.
Silence - Actions speak louder than words. If Douma can help it, he'll speak through his actions. It was more effective that way. Kagami used to make threats and build himself up, and so Douma can't stand that anymore. In addition, when it's quiet, it's easier for him to gather his thoughts and plans. He could build toward the future he desired.
New Toys - When I say toys, I'm not referring to actual toys. Action figures, dolls. No, not those toys. We're talking about new technology. He likes to see what was just released into the market, both legal and illegal. It gives him an edge over others. Best of all, he likes it when he finds a manufacturer to make the toys he dreams up a reality.
Pain - Douma can't explain it. It's something that's left over from Kagami's weakness when he desired death. And when Kagami died, Douma rose to replace him. Still, with all the pain Douma experiences, a part of him seems to believe that he deserves it. Douma just uses it as an advantage to pump adrenaline through his system. If anything, it makes him feel more alive.
Meats- Most people praise sweets and deserts above other foods, but Douma prefers savory meats. It's in his nature to be a carnivore, and meat overall just offers more nutrition and benefits. It's more filling. And if there's an expert behind the grill, Douma might even be blessed with a bloody medium rare.
Feeling Powerful - Believe it or not, Douma likes to enjoy himself. He doesn't spend his life working without leaving any time for play. In fact, he likes to intertwine the two. Douma has fun when he raids operations of competing black market groups, slaughtering individuals that try to stand up to him by the dozen. It reminds him that he's strong. Standing at the top of his own group of criminals makes him feel powerful as well. It's all about power.
Flaws:
Cold - Douma is powerful, but he's dark. It's difficult for anyone to work with him due to his cold nature. Even those who hire him on a regular basis have come to fear the man. He turns all away unless he explicitly needs them. He's a very unlikable person.
Only Loyal to Himself - Douma acts solely out of self-interest, so any alliances or deals he make do not necessarily bind him. His fickle nature has made people wary of him, further distancing himself from connections that could strengthen him. He only makes ties with those who benefit him. If there's no point in the alliance or he has a reason to do so, Douma will break any alliances.
Proud - Douma is arrogant. He refuses to accept any form of help that would place him at the receiving end of assistance. He refuses to demote himself and only acts as an equal or superior to others. Therefore, he misses out on potential alliances and loses opportunities to grow stronger under the supervision of a more powerful being.
Trust Issues - Douma doesn't like putting faith in people. They're unreliable and driven by their own agendas. After all, Douma prioritizes his own goals above anyone else's. He doesn't expect any less from others. For that reason, he needs to carry all the weight on his own shoulders. If he isn't strong enough, then he'll just get stronger. He refuses assistance.
Habits:
Staying Quiet- Douma is the biblical name for the Angel of Silence, and it is only appropriate for Douma to take on a tacit nature. He depicts words through actions often, making talking pointless. He's not mute, but he speaks minimally.
Having Others Act on His Behalf - Douma is a strategist. He has so many agents doing his bidding for him so that he can manage the entirety of his operations. He only does a task in person if it’s absolutely essential or, for whatever reason, he is in the mood to.
Violence - Sometimes, Douma is unnecessarily violent. He doesn't need to cross that line and spill blood. He does so anyway because he can. He's strong enough to do it, and if others aren't strong enough to defend themselves, they deserve to die.
Recruitment- Douma is always trying to expand on his network of individuals he can reach out to. After all, the vast majority of the underworld is made up of petty criminals without much to bring to the table. When Douma encounters unique or notably powerful person, he has a habit of approaching them and making an offer. If he can provide them something they desire, he can call upon them for a service in the future.
Bragging- Douma doesn't talk very much. In fact, the only team he truly has a conversation is when he is trying to recruit others. In this time, it's apparent that he thinks very highly of himself. There's nothing he can't offer or get his hands on, and there are few more powerful and dangerous than he is. Even if Douma his military genius and analytical ability are rare. Douma loves reminding himself and others of his superiority.
Flaring his Reiatsu- When Douma refrains from speaking, he often reacts with reiatsu flares. With his incredible spiritual pressure, doing so is often overwhelming to those nearby and allows him to intimidate enemies. His reiatsu's incredibly dark to those who are able to sense it, especially because part of Adalo De-Mona's own reiatsu has tainted his soul. When Douma uses the red cross on his wrist to expand and darken his aura even more, he is a truly menacing sight.
Fears:
Douma has no fears. He's not allowed to. If he feared Adalo, he would never be able to meet him in battle face-to-face and emerge victorious. If he feared isolation, he could never leave his only friend, Hotaru, behind in pursuit of more power and influence. If he feared death, he would never get himself into uncertain situations where odds weren’t in his favor. If he feared losing control, he wouldn’t make loose alliances with those that were strong enough to kill him. If he feared the darkness, he wouldn’t spend nights alone in it. If he feared silence, he wouldn’t block out all sound until the fortitude of his sanity was tested. If he feared realizing unyielding love for his ex-fiancee, Manami, he could never fight a battle against her and the Primera Espada. Douma couldn’t afford to feel fear.
Goals:
Surpass Adalo De-Mona - Adalo took away the only woman Kagami has ever truly loved. To make that worse, he warped her and turned her against him. It was Adalo's fault that Manami nearly killed Kagami, and for that reason, Douma was born for the sole purpose of rising in power in the criminal world while Kagami dominate Soul Society. Both aspects would make Kagami more powerful that Adalo could ever be so he could exact his revenge.
Create a Criminal Empire - Douma has a plan in the works. He’s making connections with powerful individuals across the three worlds while simultaneously recruiting criminals of all status and backgrounds, as long as they work under him. He’s taking down black market competitors and creating an illegal empire large enough to wage war on any of the major facts. Once the organization reaches the size and strength he desires, there won’t be any organization that can stop him.
Becoming More Powerful than Anyone Else- Douma is on a power trip. He tells himself that it is just about defeating Adalo, but that's only partly true. He seeks to become the most powerful individual of all the worlds. For example, Douma detests Saeki Kuchiki not only because she sent Kagami to Adalo De-Mona to die but also because of her unstoppable power. She can raise an army of the strongest fighters in a matter of days and bring a man down to his knees with only words. He detests Sozen Kuchiki and his family because of their strength, influence, and arrogance. It all leads back to him wanting to become the strongest there is.
Having Influence Within Dominant Organizations- As mentioned above, Douma is always making new ties with people in key place. For example, when he first encountered Ryunosuke, Douma created an alliance with the high-ranking Espada, giving him information into the affairs of Hueco Mundo. He allied with Jin because of the other man's power. He accepted Jin's request in assisting Uzaki Enterprise against the Vandenreich because of Uzaki Enterprise's resources. Soon, his roots will spread through every major organization.
Make History- When Adalo De-Mona died, Douma realized that there was a chance he wouldn't have the opportunity to defeat the man in head-to-head battle. From that point on, he decided that there was another aspect of his desire for power. He needed a legacy that surpassed any other. He needed to become an icon that people would look back at in thousands of years and immortalize as a symbol of power while Adalo De-Mona is forgotten within his shadow.
Alignment: [Chaotic Evil]
Overall Personality:
Douma acts differently depending on the situation he is in. During combat, the man is very cold and distant. He is calculating and analytic. Detached but focus. He will hardly talk if the fight is serious. In fact, he doesn’t talk in tense situations at all. Especially when the balance of power in the circumstances are uncertain. When there are too many factors in the air for him to predict an outcome and he is left in the dark, waiting to see how the situation plays out, Douma won’t say a word.
When the balance of power is pointing in Douma’s favor, however, he would grace those nearby with his voice. His speech is a sign that he is in charge and that he’s calling the shots. The Angel of Silence only emerges when he is a simple mercenary or assassin. When Douma takes charge and speaks, he doesn’t do so smugly. He merely address the fact that he is in command and continues from that point forward, like leading is natural to him.
Douma is a very selfish individual. As mentioned above, everything he does has to benefit him in some way or another. Favors are just another way to create debt of the receiver that can be called upon at any time, and taking advantage of favors others’ owe him is one way he manipulates others in order to push his own agenda forward. He is constantly trying to twist the wills of others so that they carry out his motives.
The criminal mastermind largely creates his network through mutually beneficial business partnerships. All individuals can be bought in some way or another. Some desire money. Others seek power. Price and form of currency are just variables. After Douma finds their price, he ensures to buy out his allies so that they can assist him. At the end of the day, they each get what they want, and Douma especially draws himself closer to his ultimate goals.
Douma has to change his personality slightly to get people on his side. He needs to seduce them in a way. Luckily, he's good at getting a read on people's desires and lures them in with what they want. It's all about how he presents himself and how he feels about them. He makes people feel like they are valuable to him, and that isn't a lie. He tries to reel in those who have something to offer and contribute. A unique skill set. He paints himself as the person who recognizes and appreciates their skill as well as the man who can provide them with their deepest desires.
But what type of man is the mercenary truly, behind the violence and the manipulation and the ambition? Firstly, he is cruel. Douma has no rules that he goes by. There are no moral restrictions that prevent him from seeing his goals through all the way to the end, by any means necessary. That makes Douma a very dangerous individual. Ethical arguments don’t apply to him considering that he made the rules. Angels have no religion to follow.
Douma is all about power. He works to increase his own scope of influence and decrease that of his competitors. Therefore, he hates it most when there are people more powerful than he is. Especially someone like Saeki Kuchiki, who offered to use her immense knowledge of the universe to train him. He refuses to elevate her to a mentor position and take the role of a student under her due to his pride. Acquiring power through his own means is more important to Douma that growing as powerful as possible, but barely so.
There's still a man behind the mask, however. If we inspect Douma as a man and nothing more, he seems almost pitiful. A self-loathing is concentrated in his soul, revealing how dangerous to himself he is. Douma doesn't care about preserving his own health. He has goals in mind and he'll pursue them to the end, even if it kills him. In fact, he's eager to die in the future once he has sought his revenge. That is all he is, a vengeful demon reacting to the pain within him and his self-hate.
Douma's detest for himself comes from a continuous internal conflict that he has been faced with since his conception. Douma and Kagami are at war with one another. Douma's revenge and hate is far more dominant than anything Kagami can combat him with, and so the former Vice Captain is suppressed and silenced. However, Douma still fears that Kagami will resurface, and so he has done everything in his ability to eradicate him and create a new identity.
If Douma ever had a soft spot in his heart, it is gone. There is no one who can draw pity from him. Not children. Not mothers. Not the crippled. He treats himself like an agent of God, and God isn’t selective. There are no rules of war that God abides by. He is all powerful and decides who He allows to live and who’s life He strips from them. Douma is that will of God.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fighting Style:
Douma’s fighting style can be summed up with a few words: Controlled. Precise. Ruthless. He is a person driven with a focused anger, and his combat reflects that. All of his boiling rage and fury is directed and concentrated toward his goals and tasks at handing, acting as a powerful motivation backing up his raw power spiritual, analytical brilliance, and combat strength.
Kagami has had a fortunate history that provided him with several opportunities to study combat in general. This transferered to Douma, making the criminal highly trained in the arts of swordsmanship as well as a few different types of martial arts. However, he has also been exposed to the more rough, unrestricted fistfights of local bars when he's been at the wrong place at the wrong time, or maybe the right one. He learned how to defend himself well, and when it came to drunk fights, the first thing he taught himself was how to dodge wild hooks and uppercuts thrown by angry men who's coordination has been clouded by alcohol. He later learned to apply those dodging techniques into fights against more sober opponents with more control of themselves in battle. But one can't dodge forever, and not only did those bare fights act as lessons in how to block a punch and take a punch, but his sword training showed him how to block a stroke of other weapons. Overall, he knew how to play the game of battle: Defensively.
Douma specializes with a light, short sword or even a katana. And, for each of those weapons, his swordsman skills must be adjusted to suit their smaller sizes and the traits that come with them. First of all, their feather weight gives the blades much faster speed and more maneuverability. Each stroke of the sword hisses in the air, slicing through the wind as it travels at his enemy. Although the swords don't pack quite the same punch as heavier weapons, they really don't need to. The beauty of the sword is that despite the strength behind the slash or stab, it will cut the skin in the same way. Strength is irrelevant. Speed is all that matters, and when speed and a sword meet, the ultimate weapon is created.
However, although the traits of a short sword provide many advantages, they have several disadvantages as well. The first one being their lack of strength relative to other heavier weapons. Therefore, a smaller blade must always rely on its superior speed. If a sword stroke is blocked, Douma will, if he can see a clear opening, launch another controlled, yet rapid attack. That way, the heavier weapon would have less of a chance of responding quickly enough to block it effectively. That way, Douma might be able to land a nice blow on his opponent.
Outside of plain swordsmanship, fighting style is like clay. It is flexible easy to mold for different occasions. When it is heated, it is just as flashy and reflective as clay, as well as equally strong. The only difference is that Douma’s fighting style does not shatter. He has so many different applications and can be modified for so many different situations that there is always some sort of way that Douma can fight, despite whatever his opponent may throw at him. Such an elastic fighting technique is one of the things that makes Douma a formidable opponent to all.
First, let’s take a look at his options for a physical battle. He himself lacks exceptional strength and relies on speed to hold his own in fights. However, at high levels of combat, it’s not unusual for him to come across opponents with divine speed and strength at a level that he can never hope to compete with. Therefore, Douma uses his mirror soldiers that spawn from his release to fight on behalf. Their exceptional physical capabilities make them the perfect super soldiers to follow his bidding.
Douma has other options regarding physical fights. From Saeki, he learned of the Dark Edge techniques. He now can spawn enormous monsters the size of buses to fight his battles for him. Each creature has incredible speed and strength of various forms, making them ideal for displays of raw power. Their ability of flight is also beneficial in non-spiritual battle.
However, the physical abilities of the Dark Edge creatures are not nearly as valuable as their other abilities. Each has unique traits and powers behind it, making it a fearsome enemy to deal with individually. However, all three Dark Edge creatures summoned together, with their different traits and attributes, make them a ferocious force. Enemies have to deal with those three monsters under Douma’s command while simultaneously worrying about Douma’s individual combat capabilities and his mirror clones. He fights as a general, commanding and leading his army to victory.
However, the unique aspect of the Dark Edge techniques is that Douma can absorb his conjurations in order to increase his own strength. When he absorbs a Dark Edge creature, he retains their unique abilities as his own, giving him their powers for his own personal use. The more creatures he absorbs, the stronger he gets. It is a system that gives him ever more versatility in his combat style.
When in release, Douma focuses primarily on his mirrors. The early stages of his release and parts of the later levels allow him to spread mirrors all around, either by summoning flat mirrors in space, controlling their movement telekinetically, or giving other objects that come into contact with him or his mirrors a reflective surface. The more mirrors there are, the more dangers the enemy has to watch out for. Not only can he use the reflective glass to impale foes by causing mirrors to spring from them but he also can combo the mirrors with offensive non-release techniques such as Kido, making the mirrors truly dangerous.
While in his release, Douma focuses more on a defensive approach that leads to a counter-attack. The mirrors are effective in keeping him alive and safe in very close and dangerous situations while simultaneously giving him the opportunity to respond with an offensive campaign of his own. The same mirror that appears to parry an attack can have a sword emerge from it with lightning speed, threatening to impale the nearby foe if they can’t back off in time. Messing with the mirrors is dangerous.
Bakkoto Sealed Appearance:
The sealed Bakkoto is nothing special. In fact, it’s not even noticeable unless Douma allows for people to see it or flashes it accidentally. Bakkoto are artificial parasites that feed off of a host and are usually attached to their host’s body in their sealed stage. Douma’s bakkoto is also integrated into his body, acting as a part of him rather than a separate weapon. In this case, it has embedded itself into his right palm.
The Bakkoto takes on the appearance of a metallic black cross emerging from the skin on his palm. It doesn’t cause him pain, but the weapon his fused with his skin, tendons, ligaments, muscle, and bone. It has become a part of the structure of his right hand. The cross is not just a simple two lines. Each of the four ends of the black metal concludes with a curved triangle tip. An ebony circle encloses the point of intersection of the cross as well. Overall, the bakkoto acts as a representation of his holy identity: the Angel of Death.
The Cross
Bakkoto Release Appearance:
The released form of Douma’s Bakkoto appears as a blade, his usual weapon of choice. The blade jumps out of his palm immediately, allowing him to grab it or even impale his unsuspecting opponent by releasing. The sword is about two and one half feet, on the smaller end for a scimitar. However, Douma always fancied lighter, one-handed blades with more maneuverability than lengthy swords.
The hilt of the blade is made of the same slick, pure black metal of the cross that resided in Douma’s right hand. It is perfectly molded to fit the rogue Shinigami’s hand, making the weidling of the weapon as comfortable as possible. At both ends of the hilt are pieces of silver that highlight and emphasized the darkness of the weapon while providing decorative contrast. There is no cross-guard, and Douma doesn’t require one. He is too experienced and skilled to make such mistakes.
The actual blade is, true to its form of a scimitar, curved and single-edged. However, it is extremely sharp along all parts of its edge and has a tip that can penetrate some of the most powerful defenses. Any weaponsmith or sword expert would be able to realize the beautiful steelwork behind the blade. However, rather than having a steel blade, the Bakkoto’s blade appears to be made of a mirror, making it reflect light with every flashy slash.
The Sword
Bakkoto Overall Ability:
Douma’s power is, at its core, the opposite of his previous release. Kagami Murai once fought with his dazzling mirrors that reflected light, catching the awe-filled eyes of on-lookers. This new bakkoto, on the other hand, goes a different route. Rather than being bright and appealing, it is dark and frightening. Instead of reflecting light, Douma’s power consumes all unfortunate enough to get too close. Such is the nature of black.
This power can be referred to as “Dark World.” Sound familiar? Adalo’s own Primera Etapa is known as “Black World,” and because Adalo corrupted Douma’s soul with his reiatsu, The main parallel between the powers is the mechanic through which they’re executed. While Adalo creates Black Spots, Douma creates Black Zones. These Black Zones have a point from which they extend. Anything within the boundaries of the Black Zone is automatically colored black. From that point on, the various abilities the bakkoto offers can come into play.
Class 7:
The first stage of Douma’s bakkoto is, as expected, the simplest. In fact, it barely scratches the surface of what his power truly means. First, Douma’s body and his sword completely turn black. Also, physical contact between Douma, his weapon, or any of his non-release creates a black mark in the exact place where that contact occurred, though spiritual stat superiority is required for that black mark to be made. In case of Douma's non-release techniques, they are considered black marks while they're active as well. By paying 50 reiatsu, Douma can cause any of these black marks, including himself, to automatically become adhesive and stick to anything with a force equal to his highest spiritual stat, although this can be countered with superior strength. He can negate the adhesiveness whenever he chooses. If he wants the target to stick for more than a post, he must refresh the cost each additional post.
Class 6:
This is where the Black Zones first form, using points of contact from the previous level as the anchor. Each black mark will be the center of a Black Zone, which extends for two meters in every direction from the anchor. Anything within the Black Zone automatically turns black, though this can be resisted with spiritual stat superiority. The previous level’s ability can now be applied to any physical object within the Black Zone. Also, anything that Douma selects within the Black Zone will passively suck in small amounts of mass such as the air particles and microscopic specks, increasing the weight of any objects in Black Zones by 10 pounds each post. This weight change remains even after targets leave the Black Zone, though it can be resisted by spiritual stat superiority.
Class 5:
Black Zones now expand a distance of five meters from the anchor. In addition, their passive mass absorption ability in the previous level is enhanced so that it stacks 30 pounds per post. By paying 100 reiatsu, Douma can magnify the absorption, causing objects in the Black Zone to pull all things toward them with a force of 300. This suction can have a range of anywhere between zero and five meters depending on what Douma chooses.
Class 4:
Black Zones get even bigger at this level, stretching 10 meters from the anchor. Most importantly, Black Zones can literally consume things at this point. Anything in contact with an object in a Black Zone can be sucked at the speed instantaneously for the price of 200 reiatsu, though the object being consumed needs to be smaller than the consumer. Its weight is also absorbed. Douma can will any object that was sucked in to be released either slowly or thrown out from any point of the object within the Black Zone with the a force equal to his offensive stat by paying another 200 reiatsu. If he is trying to absorb another individual or his release weapon, Douma must have both offensive stat superiority and the target must be in contact with a black mark, not just something within the black zone. If the target is already imprinted with a black mark, they must make contact with another black mark. This absorption only works on physical objects, nothing spiritual. When any individual consumed by another object cannot uses any of their sight, only other senses and energy sensory, to perceive the world outside of the object that consumed them. In addition, they cannot uses techniques unless the offensive stat of the technique in question is greater than Douma's own highest offensive stat.
While this ability is useful for dodging and defense, it is possible for someone inside another entity to forcefully be thrown out. If the consuming object for whatever reason, reaches a point where it is equal in volume or smaller than the person or item it absorbed, that item must be pushed out of the object immediately. For example, if Douma is absorbed into a piece of the ground within a Black Zone and an enemy fires a high-power Cero right at the point where he entered the ground, as soon as the part of the ground that is within the Black Zone ceases to have a greater volume than Douma, he will be forced to exit the ground at any point, possibly forcing him to take a hit from that Cero. In addition, as long as Douma doesn't have 50% offensive stat superiority, targets can break out of another object by flexing their reiatsu or strength, although takes about two seconds before working.
Class 3:
This stage introduces a new aspect to Black Zones: weight shift. By paying 300 reiatsu per object, Douma can redistribute the weight as unevenly as he wishes. For example, if the target is a person, he can make every part of that person's body completely weightless except for their head, which would hold all of their total weight. This shifting of weight occurs at a speed equal to Douma's highest offensive stat. It can only be used once per post. Spiritual targets and their release weapons can resist it unless Douma holds 50% stat superiority over them. However, if they make contact with a black mark, he can then redistribute their weight using just his offensive stat superiority.
This ability typically allows for weight redistribution of one individual item or object within the Black Zone. However, if two items are in contact within a Black Zone, weight can be transferred between them. For instance, if Douma is standing on the ground within his own Black Zone, he can transfer all of his mass into the ground, making him completely weightless while the ground simply gets heavier. As soon as the region of the ground that he transferred all of the weight into is no longer in a Black Zone, this ability’s effects will end, returning Douma’s weight to normal.
Class 2:
Dark World grows truly fearsome at this next level. First of all, at class 2, the volume limit on consumption is completely removed, so a pebble at this stage can hold an entire person, though it would have the combined weight of both. Next, Black Zones expand significantly. They now extend fifty meters in every direction. Normal offensive stat superiority is now required for Douma's ability to affect other release weapons, not 50% superiority. This doesn't apply to other spiritually aware individuals. However, targets need 50% stat superiority to resist being absorbed or having their weight shifted if they make contact with a black mark. Most importantly, the weight distribution effects are improved on. Weight transfer no longer depends on physical contact between items in Black Zones. In fact, weight can be transferred between any objects in any Black Zone without physical contact between them.
Class 1:
Dark World also grows more specific at this last level. All forms of physical matter are subject to the power, even at the molecular level. That includes the air particles flying around. Not only can individual air particles consume other items or objects but they can also have a role in weight distribution and transfer. Douma can target a region containing air in a Black Zone and shift weight of other objects into that region.
On top of that, Dark World can do more than just shift the concentration of mass. By paying 800 reiatsu, he can completely suspend the weight of all things within Black Zones. After doing so, he can either instantaneously redistribute this weight or withhold it for a maximum of three posts before being forced to transfer it. Douma cannot transfer it freely to someone or their release weapon within the black zone without 50% offensive stat superiority. However, if a target is in contact with a black mark, they must have 50% stat superiority to resist the weight shift.
Zero Stage:
An enormous Black Zone instantly forms, creating a sphere with a radius of one mile. Anyone trying to exit this sphere will find that the border is protected with an incredible force equal to 3x Douma’s own spiritual pressure that affects both matter, reiatsu, and even intangible entities. If Douma survives in this sphere for three posts, that same force exerted on the edge of the Black Zone will press down on everyone and everything in it, pushing not down but toward the center of the Black Zone. All things in the Black Zone will compress into each other like a black hole is drawing them in, and after that force ends, all within the Black Zone simply disappears. Nothing remains except an empty hole in that enormous sphere.

Technique Name: [Silent Pain]
Class: [3]
Technique Type (Kido, Hollow/Arrancar Technique, Human World Dweller Technique, Other): [Other]

Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): [Insert Below]
Pain is the most basic hindrance to mortals, especially in combat. Some have trained their minds and bodies to suppress such pain, but there is only a certain degree of discipline that one can reach before their mind and body must succumb to the cries of their body. The nature of this technique may act like a tool or a weapon, depending on how Kagami chooses to use it. As its name suggests, it deals with silencing pain rather than noise.
Kagami initiates this technique with reiatsu contact. The user's release weapon must make contact with either the opponent or their weapons, and this technique successfully becomes infused in them. After it is ingrained in the opponent, Kagami has to ability to completely suspend all pain from the opponent’s body. This does not apply to mental pain, but solely physical pain. It doesn’t give them any form of pain tolerance. It simply makes the pain disappear.
Well, not completely disappear. You see, the pain is still there. It is just suspended for a short period of time. When Kagami chooses, he may make all of the pain that the target may otherwise have experienced flow right back into them all out once in a concentrated wave. When it is mastered, he may even choose to target the pain in only one part of the body, though this prevents the target’s body from feeling the pain in the rest of his or her body. Furthermore, it can even be used on Kagami himself to negate the limits of the pain he himself is experiencing.
How to use technique (How is it activated?): [Insert Below]
Listed above.
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) (Insert Below)
Firstly, this technique has a limiting nature. Kagami can remove all the pain in the target’s body for only a maximum of five posts, and at the end of the five posts, regardless of Kagami’s will, the pain will rush back to the target. Anytime before that five posts, Kagami may choose to cause the pain to rush back to the target for a cost of 200 reiatsu or 300 reiatsu if he chooses to direct where the pain is felt, though doing so ends the technique no matter how many more posts is left in its duration.
Those with pain tolerance are capable of withstanding some of the effects of this technique, though that is dependent on the level of pain and the level of pain tolerance. For example, even someone with a Pain Tolerance of 3 wouldn’t be able to stay conscious after experiencing the pain of a life-threatening beating all in one sudden wave. The resistance of Pain Tolerance will be dependent on the judgment of the user of the technique, the target, and possibly a moderator if an agreement is not reached between the first two. Anyone with more than 25% the offensive stat of the user is completely immune to this technique’s effects.

Technique Name: Wrath of Ira
Class: 1
Technique Type (Kido, Hollow/Arrancar Technique, Human World Dweller Technique, Other): Other
Usable By (Technique is available to which races?): All Races
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect):
Ira, the Roman spirit of rage, was believed to strip any mere mortals of their rational and force them into a blind rage. Wrath was is one of the most dangerous sins because not only does it hurt you but it damages all those around you as well. That is the nature of this ability. It takes otherwise sane and reasonable individuals and makes them insane with anger.
Anyone with 50% offensive stat superiority are immune to the effects of this technique. However, for those who do not meet this requirement, there are various ways this ability can be used to affect targets, and that depends largely on the class of others. Anyone class 4 or below can be subject to the affect of the technique if Douma pays 600 reaitsu that releases a high-frequency sound similar to that of a dog whistle that can be heard for a half-mile around. Any of those individuals of the specified classes that hear the frequency will suddenly have a complete personality change. Their blood will pump several times faster as they push themselves to their physical and spiritual limits. Their sole goal becomes causing as much destruction as possible. They will attempt to take the lives of any nearby people, and if they can’t find any living targets, they will attack nearby buildings and structures to just wreck havoc. After approximately six posts, they will burn themselves out and collapse from exhaustion caused by the affect of the spell. Until then, they will have a 3 in Pain Tolerance and Strength of Will.
Now, we move on to how it works against tougher cookies. Corrupting them with the Wrath of Ira is significantly more difficult, and Douma now needs a mechanism to begin the effect. The ability is still sound based, but the sound must come from more than just Douma’s reiatsu. Now, a reiatsu clash between him and his opponent is required. This occurs if any technique or release from Douma and his target come into contact. He can then pay 600 reiatsu, no matter the result of the clash, and the contact then produces the same frequency that can only affect the person who’s reiatsu clashed with Douma’s. For example, if one has an ability that changes the environment and Douma uses Kido against the new environment created by the opponent’s reiatsu, he can pay the additional cost to create that frequency. This does not apply to physical contact.
So what happens if someone above class 4 hears the whistle? That all depends on their class. At class 3, the victim will experience an increase in heart rate build up of unexplainable anger, and loss of rational, developing a 3 in Pain Tolerance and Strength of Will. After two posts, the first effect will begin. They will be come obsessed with attacking Douma or whoever their initial target was, doing so as brutally as possible. Their fighting style begins to focus on bombarding or their enemy without letting up, much like a Berserker. After 4 posts, the second affect begins and they turn into the crazy individuals that attack anyone or anything near them without a second thought. After six posts, they burn out and pass out from exhaustion. For someone that is Class 2, the time lapse becomes 3 posts for the first effect and 6 for the second. For someone at class 1, it is 4 posts for the first effect and 8 for the second. For those at class 0, it takes 8 posts for the first affect and 16 for the second, though it’s doubtful that the fight would last that long. If Douma is killed or loses consciousness, the ability ends. Each time another clash of reiatsu occurs, Douma can pay an additional cost of 200 after the initial cost of 600 and increase the post count by 1.

Listed above.
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) (Insert Below)
Most drawbacks are listed above. The reiatsu cost adds up if he tries to speed up Wrath of Ira’s effects on others. It strengthens the resolve of anyone without a 3 in Strength of Will already and bumps their Pain Tolerance to 3 if it wasn’t their earlier. In addition, there is high risk for Douma. If his target is stronger than he is and he cannot hold off their relentless attacks or incapacitate them with their 3 in Pain Tolerance and Strength of Will, he puts himself in jeopardy. In addition, those under the effects of this technique do not discriminate and can go after Douma’s allies as well.

Technique Name: [Dark Edge]
Class: [4]
Technique Type: [Other]
Usable By: [Rogue Shinigami]
Technique Element: [N/A]
Technique Description and Effects: [Insert Below]
Dark Edge is a very high level technique which allows the user to absorb summoned entities  and utilize their powers. If the user summoned said entities, then there is no reiatsu cost to using Dark Edge. If attempting to absorb an enemy's entity, costs full 600 reiatsu cost and cannot be done on release abilities (ex. if the bankai is a dragon, it can't be absorbed. Same goes for Bount dolls). This can be used both on living entities and recently dead ones. Also, any entity consumed by Dark Edge can, for the amount of life force equivalent to the reiatsu cost of a traditional technique of its class, be summoned again, or in other words revived.
How to use technique: [Insert Below]
If used on the user's own entity, the user reaches out to the nearby entity (must be in visual range), which then disperses into raw life force that is instantaneously pulled into the user's body. If used on a foreign entity, it must first be hit with a directly offensive attack (ex. Hado or physical contact).
Technique Drawbacks: (Insert Below)
It can only be used on entities of inferior class to the user, and if the summoner or a foreign entity possesses a higher offensive stat compared to the user's, regardless of what the offensive stat is, it cannot be absorbed. In addition, Douma can only drain life force from a foreign entity once. The rest of the time this technique is used in the same thread, Life Force from foreign entities is not drained.

Technique Description and Effects: [Insert Below]
Dark Blade
When activated, summons a large black wyvern, roughly the size of a school bus. The wyvern possesses 400 in strength, 800 in speed, 200 in both sensory stats. 0 in ES and HE. Its offensive strength is equal to the user's reiatsu strength. The wyvern, called Dark Blade in name as well, has a special ability. It can cast the user's Kido spells (or a default Sokkatsui blast). These always cost the same amount as the normal spell and come out of the user's reiatsu pool as well as the creature's life force. However, when utilized by Dark Blade, these spells take on a special property if reiatsu cost of the technique is doubled. They pass through all other spells. Meaning, if Dark Blade casts a Sokkatsui, and it is about to clash with a Shakkaho, the Sokkatsui will simply phase through the Shakkaho and keep going. The only spell it does not phase through is Hierro or other armor-like techniques.
Dark Blade can also use Dark Edge.
How to use technique: [Insert Below]
Dark Blade is summoned not by sacrificing reiatsu, but by sacrificing life force. The amount of life force sacrificed to summon Dark Blade determines how much it has to spend on techniques. There is a 300 life force minimum required to summon the creature. If Dark Blade is absorbed by Dark Edge, the absorber gains 50% of Dark Blade's current remaining life force. Anyone that uses Dark Edge to absorb Dark Blade also gains the property of being able to spend 50% extra the regular cost while a spell they have cast is already out to make that spell disappear and reappear five feet forward, or in other words teleport.
Technique Drawbacks: (Insert Below)
Dark Blade lasts for 7 posts at a time. When absorbed by Dark Edge, its properties exist in the user for 5 posts. Use of Dark Blade requires life force, and is incompatible with reiatsu. Thus, those who use Dark Blade will fatigue more quickly and burn out the very essence of themselves for doing so. Dark Blade's spells cannot phase through another spell with a 2x offensive stat superiority to the user's. Also, every single use of Dark Blade reduces the user's lifespan by one month.

The wyvern possesses 200 in strength, 1100 in speed, 120 in both sensory stats. 0 in ES and HE. Its offensive strength is equal to the user's reiatsu strength. The wyvern, called Dark Knife in name as well, has a special ability. It can cast the user's Kido spells (or a default Sokkatsui blast). These always cost the same amount as the normal spell and come out of the user's reiatsu pool as well as the creature's life force. If Dark Knife is injured, its injury instantaneously blasts out a pink colored mist in the direction of whatever injured it at a speed of 800. An enemy hit by this mist will instantly lose reiatsu equivalent to their most recent technique utilized. If Dark Knife is killed, its body explodes instantaneously into this mist. In the case of injury, mist extends ten yards. In the case of death, twenty all around. If killed and exploded into mist, its life force can still be absorbed by Dark Edge. Anyone with offensive stat inferior to the amount of life force Dark Knife currently has remaining (except when superior class to the summoner of Dark Knife) is susceptible to this mist's effect.
Dark Knife can also use Dark Edge.

Dark Scythe, however, can imbue its spells with a special ability for quadruple the reiatsu cost. Any enemy struck by Dark Scythe's techniques can't use anything above the class of the technique that struck them for their next three posts. This is nullified by class superior to the summoner or 2x offensive stat superiority. It also does not function against Hakuda or any other physical based techniques, even reiatsu using physical techniques. It does not work against releases.
Dark Scythe can also use Dark Edge.
How to use technique: [Insert Below]
Dark Scythe is summoned not by sacrificing reiatsu, but by sacrificing life force. The amount of life force sacrificed to summon Dark Scythe determines how much it has to spend on techniques. In other words, unless any other existing spell strikes this spell that is considered one or two pseudo classes up from 1, the spell will count as if it holds two class advantages over anything else that it strikes. Class 0 will still win out over class 1^2.

Technique Name: [The King’s Circle]
Class: [1]
Technique Type (Kido, Hollow/Arrancar Technique, Human World Dweller Technique, Other): [Other]
Usable By (Technique is available to which races?): [All Races]
Technique Element: [None]
Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): [Insert Below]
Combat is like a game of chess to Douma. There will always be a series of moves followed by counters. Of course there are checks in between. He is the black king and he commands his pawns to fight on his behalf. This technique focuses on empowering his soldiers and allies while weakening himself, placing him closer to the role of the king.
This technique begins with a circle being drawn on the ground. After this technique’s activation, Douma may not exit that circle without breaking the technique. All the creations he calls forward with his abilities are suddenly connected and empowered. More specifically, they empower each other. The stronger his allies and soldiers are on their own, the stronger they each become. Each individual empowered entity will gain an ability or trait from other empowered entities. The new power they receive is limited to a or non-release technique or stat boost. Non-release technique sharing is straigh-forward. With stat boosts, however, one may recieve 50% of one of the empowered entities stats as long as that increase does not bypass the 3x limit. Douma decides how the new powers are distributed. Each empowered individual receives a maximum of one trait from another, and this trait can come from anyone under this technique. Furthermore, all fatigue is suspended for all those under this technique until it ends.
How to use technique (How is it activated?): [Insert Below]
This technique begins when a circle is drawn on the ground. That circle may have a radius of no larger than seven meters, making it quite restricting. Furthermore, after one post, it will be fortified with reiatsu so that it cannot be destroyed except for by an attack with a superior reiatsu strength. Once the circle is fortified, it may be activated at any time. If an ally hopes to be empowered by the technique, they must insert their reiatsu in some form in the circle as it is activated.
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) (Insert Below)
After the traditional class one reiatsu cost is paid, a post count begins. When no other characters are under this technique, it has a maximum duration of 8 posts. Each character reduces the duration by 2 posts, so when three other characters are under this technique, it has a maximum duration of 2 posts. Only 3 other characters and their own summoned soldiers may fall under the affects of this technique. When this technique ends, all of the fatigue that was suspended from those benefiting from the King's Circle will suddenly be placed on Douma, almost certainly putting him out of commission or making him pass out. In addition, Douma receives no empowerment nor can he empower one of the entities under this technique with one of his own trait or ability. While he is in the circle, Douma's own spiritual stats are cut in half, though his soldiers with abilities or stats based off his spiritual pressure do not suffer the same cuts. The biggest drawback of all, however, is that Douma is a sitting duck. Escaping a large-scale attack is difficult in that circle with the faster he grows tired, and blocking it less likely with his lower statistics.

If necessary, this can be used for 1 v 1, 2 v 2, 2 v 1, or 3 v 1. The 2 v 1 and 3 v 1 can be used only in a situation where the user is the outnumbered entity. The Circle of Evil's class is always at least class 2, but its value is the same as the highest class of ability the user can call upon. Thus, users must be at least class 3. Regardless of class, however, the Circle of Evil costs the 1200 reiatsu of a class 0 technique.
The Circle of Evil can be penetrated only by superior class. This means no one can exit or enter without having superior class to the Circle of Evil. Furthermore, regardless of class or offensive, it cannot be destroyed or turned off, even by the user. There is no time limit on it. Thus, everyone within the Circle of Evil is trapped until the battle ends. The Circle of Evil recognizes a winner when one hits 0 reiatsu or is incapacitated to a point of no longer being able to fight. Those defeated within the Circle of Evil will find something quite nasty. The Circle shrinks around them and encloses around them. This cannot be stopped in any way. The person defeated within the Circle of Evil has their spiritual powers stripped away from them, and their release powers then become usable by their opponent. Until the wielder of those spiritual powers is killed, the original user cannot get them back.
Within the Circle of Evil, the user's abilities are all counted as the same class that they are. Meaning, if one is class 1, even their Byakurai is class 1. Furthermore, the user also receives the ability to use life force to cast techniques of any kind. Within the Circle of Evil, the user will become flooded by a feeling of boundless stamina, adrenaline, and a power high. This feeling may even persist for a few posts after the Circle of Evil has ended, assuming of course that the user was the winner.
How to use technique: [Insert Below]
The user must pay the reiatsu cost, and then clap both hands together. From there, green light will emerge from them and the circle, whose total size becomes roughly the length of a basketball court for 360 degrees all around, ensnares the user and their desired opponent.
The Circle of Evil can only be used in a DE or DP thread, and only against major NPCs. It can be used against RPCs only if there was player agreement before the thread. It can only steal an RPC's powers if there was agreement beforehand by players that power stealing would be a possibility within the battle. Furthermore, powers stolen can only be used in adventures, unless the opposing player agrees that they can be used in PVP. Typically, this technique is also usable only in adventures (except against NPCs in PVP) unless opposing player agrees to the technique's use in said thread.
Technique Drawbacks (Insert Below)
The power high granted by this technique makes the user feel as if they have infinite, boundless stamina. That, however, is not the case. Their stamina IS depleting, and by acting off this power high, the user is depleting themselves quickly. That, however, is an effect of this technique. They become far more reckless due to the influx of power, and are willing to expend a lot of energy due to the feeling that their newfound power is infinite. This technique is also inescapable to the user, and comes with the danger of the user losing their powers to the enemy. Additionally, the more life force the user uses up, the more evil they become. This comes as a percentage of user's life force used up. Say the user of Circle of Evil has 1000 life force, and uses 800 of it in battle. That's 80% of their life force. When Circle of Evil ends, they will become 80% darker and more evil.
This technique's stamina cost is enormous, but the user will not feel that. Thus, it is very easy to way overexert oneself in the technique or after it has ended. The Circle of Evil also corrupts and eats at the user's soul, twisting it. The soul becomes more and more mangled and damaged as uses stack, which causes the user's personality to twist and their physical body to wear down if they use it over and over again. The mechanical effect of this worn body is organ failure after 8-10 total uses of Circle of Evil. At this point, they may need a new body or some sort of advanced healing process. A full healing thread can be done if it lasts 4 pages, and it can only be done after 8 uses.

Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): [Insert Below]
Everyone is already aware of the inherent cutback effect those with high spiritual pressure can inflict on enemies with lower spiritual pressure who attempt to physically attack them. This technique is a step above the basic level of cutback that is usually nullified by releasing. This time, as long as the user is at the same level of release or a greater one than the enemy, this technique may come into play. If both are at the highest form of release available to their race, even if the classes aren’t equal, this technique may still apply.
Unlike traditional cutback, this is not permanently active. It can only be turned on for a moment, and in a limited area. By focusing reiatsu into a limb, his head, or his torso, the user may allow cutback to take affect against an incoming attack. Better yet, if the attack is physical but traditional cutback wouldn’t normally apply, it will act as an invisible skin defense for just as long as it’s active as long as the difference between the user’s spiritual pressure and the opposing offensive stat is at least 150.
How to use technique (How is it activated?): [Insert Below]
Stated above.
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) (Insert Below)
The first drawback is the reiatsu cost. By paying 400 reiatsu, Ultimate Cutback may protect one part of the user’s body for the remainder of the post. However, there is a catch. After that point, he may not use this technique for one full post before it is available again, and in that “rest post,” if the user takes a hit, the damage from this hit would be doubled. He’d experience twice the pain, bleed twice as much, and the attack would even hit twice as hard. A punch with 100 strength behind it would do as much damage to him as a 200 strength punch. Each time the technique is used, its reiatsu cost goes up by 100 until the end of the thread. In addition, while ultimate cutback is active, other techniques that channel through that part of the body cannot be used. Lastly, focusing such a large amount of spiritual energy in a single location is draining to the user’s stamina, so spamming other techniques while Ultimate Cutback is active is tiring.

Technique Type (Kido, Hollow/Arrancar Technique, Human World Dweller Technique, Other): [Cinematic]
Usable By (Technique is available to which races?): [All Races]
Technique Element: [None]
Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): [Insert Below]
Kagami isn’t always a Shinigami serving the Gotei 13. He has another life as a criminal involved with affairs in the Black Market. Therefore, he created this technique to help him conceal his identity. The first thing it does is change his reiatsu. His aura is now crimson red and emanates a hateful, vengeful attitude. Anyone with remote skill in energy sensory feel an evil in Kagami, though he will still be recognizable and identifiable based on his reiatsu. This technique only changes his physical appearance and doesn't alter his reiatsu other than its color and 'feel.' His voice becomes muffled and deep, further hiding his identity and making him even more intimidating. His Zanpakuto changes from its jade color to a black hilt and black blade, both when it is released and unreleased.
Kagami’s appearance also completely changes. His clothes are replaced completely. He now wears black jeans, a black shirt, and a long, black trench coat that conceal his weapons at his waist. He has a white mask with a circular, spiral formation centered where his nose may be. However, the mask has no facial features other than slots for eyes in the shape of tears. These three slots sit at equal distance from each other. Two are positioned where Kagami’s eyes are, and the final slot is at his forehead. The mask covers the top of his head as well, so the only parts of his face that may be seen are his eyes, which have also transformed. His right eye is blood red and his left eye is plain an empty white and has the same circular pattern as the mask.

How to use technique (How is it activated?): [Kagami must say “Douma” to switch into this form. He can use the same method to switch out of it. This transformation occurs in an instant.]

History:
Kagami Murai is Dead
And that is where the tale of Kagami Murai ends. He no longer exists, and in his place is the Angel of Silence: Douma. Douma was the one who left that hospital, not Kagami, and he’s the one who returned to the world. Assassin. Mercenary. Smuggler. Criminal mastermind. He may have been called an angel, but he was the devil to anyone who crossed his path. It was all about power. He wanted revenge for all the suffering and pain Adalo caused Kagami. He donned a mask and made it his goal to become to most feared individual across the three worlds.
The Angel of Silence
The Life and Death of Ren Kasumi'Oji
Ren Kasumi’Oji was born to Ryota Kasumi’Oji, the youngest of Yoshihiro Kasumi’Oji and his siblings. Ryota understood that there was no viable path between himself and his desired position as Head of the Kasumi’Oji family, and so he used his cunning and intelligence to escalate his position in the family as much as he could. After all, Yoshihiro was most responsible for the face of the family. The Head negotiated with other Nobles and maintained the Kasumi’Oji presence within the Gotei 13. However, that was only part of the family. The illicit business that the House of Kasumi’Oji controlled was more expansive than their legal trade, and that’s where Ryota placed his focus.
Ryota was responsible for the black market business that the Kasumi’Oji family profited from. He oversaw the development of their infamous signature weapons, the bakkoto. It was Ryota who communicated with Lord Callus, establishing the distribution agreements for these illegal parasites. But his authority wasn’t just limited to the bakkoto. Ryota was the head of all of the illegal Kasumi’Oji projects. He decided which items would be sold for profit and which would be further developed for the family’s private use. Ryota Kasumi’Oji was dubbed by his enemies as the King of the Underworld.
As Ryota made a legacy for himself, he too bore children. The first, Yuka Kasumi’Oji, was one of the most brilliant minds of the family. It was her destiny to replace her father and take charge of the research and development projects for her family. However, Ryota had another son, the last of his two children: Ren Kasumi’Oji. This boy was different. He wasn’t as smart as his sister or cunning as his father. He seemed only part human, lacking ambition and desire completely. Ren Kasumi’Oji was nothing more than a weapon, and a powerful weapon at that. It was his destiny to be a blade on behalf of his family, and he embraced that role.
As a child, Ren did not have friends. The closest thing he had to a companion was his sister, but Ren and Yuka did not get along. She was manipulative and bright. Ren was blunt and powerful. When he was ten and his sister was fifteen, he had already achieved a level of proficiency with several basic kido. His sister would try to trick him, but the moment he realized that she was toying with him, Ren was quick to punish her. The Kasumi’Oji family was notorious for cruelty, but Ren was a step above most members. He had no trouble with the concept of death. Yuka hesitated to kill even animals at an early age, but Ren murdered them for sport.
But Yuka and Ren both went separate ways. Yuka headed her own research projects, focussing on tapping into life force for the purpose of artificial biological creations. Ren, on the other hand, pursued a less complicated path. He had one purpose: destroy enemies of the Kasumi’Oji family. At the age of sixteen, his father provided him with a parasite that buried itself in his chest, its roots spreading throughout his body. Since birth, he had been training in the kido arts, swordsmanship, and vita sollertia techniques. Now, he was ready to test his skills against true enemies. Everywhere that Ren went, he left a trail of blood behind him.
For decades, Ren was a powerful tool for his family. He eliminated opponent after opponent. Anyone who attempted to compete with the Kasumi’Oji family was eliminated. Those who made the mistake of attacking and stealing from their facilities met a certain death by his blade. And his ability was unique, for the more individuals that he killed, the more powerful he became. Ren was on the level of a Captain of Soul Society. Despite his power, he was still an outcast within the family. Everytime he returned to the manor, judgemental eyes watched him. They whispered amongst each other. “That’s him, Ren Kasumi’Oji. The Reaper” “He’s a monster.” “Why does he need to come back. I wish they’d lock him up outside the manor and only bring him out when he’s useful.” But Ren didn’t care about their whispering. He didn’t care to win their favor. Their words didn’t hurt him, for he knew that none had the courage to say such things to his face. He was strong and they were weak. That’s all that mattered.
Ren lived such a life for scores of years. Eventually, his father passed away, and Yuka succeeded him. Ren began taking his orders from his sister as well as both Azumi and Taiho while each held the position as Head of the family. He never failed. Each target was killed with a perfect success rate. Ren Kasumi’Oji was a monster who only knew and understood murder. It’s what he did best, and it’s what he would continue to do for the benefit of his family.
One day, Ren was given a new target: Douma, the Angel of Silence. A underworld mercenary and smuggler. Douma’s operations were growing in size, and the arrogant man began stealing Kasumi’Oji clients and attacking shipments of Kasumi’Oji weapons and drugs. He needed to be put down so that the family could survive while the seat of the Head was empty. And so he worked toward systematically bringing the Angel of Silence down. Ren attacked several of Douma’s smuggling activities. He made enough noise to draw Douma himself out, forcing them into one-on-one combat.
Of all of the enemies that Ren had encountered in the past, Douma was the strongest. He may not have been the most powerful, but he was cunning and tricky to fight. Ren felt like he was battling a more powerful version of his sister combined with his own cruelty and heartlessness. As the battle raged on, both combatants were successful in landing blows. Douma suffered many cuts, but Ren took more injuries. The right half of his face had been scorched by Douma’s flames, leaving charred and wrinkled skin. Ultimately, he fell to the Angel of Silence. Ren Kasumi’Oji was dead.
But he also lived on. Douma saw the defeat of such an individual as an opportunity. With his mirror bakkoto, he was successful in creating a mirror copy of the Kasumi’Oji assassin. After his battle with Basilisk, Douma’s body was close to death, but he called his Ren Kasumi’Oji clone forward and transferred the remainder of his soul into that body. Now, Ren Kasumi’Oji wore Douma’s mask. His previous identity didn’t matter. He was the Angel of Silence.

-Appearance-
Height/Weight: [6’1”/ 210 lbs.]

-Personality-

-Powers-
Fighting Style:
Other Techniques:
Technique Name: [Silent Pain]
Class: [3]
Technique Type (Kido, Hollow/Arrancar Technique, Human World Dweller Technique, Other): [Other]
Usable By (Technique is available to which races?): [All Races]
Technique Element: [None]
Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): [Insert Below]

Technique Name: [Shokan: Dark Blade]
Class: [2]
Technique Type: [Other]
Usable By: [Rogue Shinigami]
Technique Element: [N/A]
Technique Description and Effects: [Insert Below]

When activated, summons a large black serpentine dragon, roughly the size of a school bus and about thirty meters long.

If at least three Shokan: Dark creatures are in play, and one of them uses Dark Edge to absorb the other two, then the user can use Dark Fusion to absorb them and not only gain all of their powers, but class up the user's spells to count as two classes above their original class. If the technique is class 2, it counts as "class 1^1," and if the spell is class 1, it counts as "class 1^2." This essentially means class 1 plus two added pseudo classes. In other words, unless any other existing spell strikes this spell that is considered one or two pseudo classes up from 1, the spell will count as if it holds two class advantages over anything else that it strikes. Class 0 will still win out over class 1^2.
How to use technique: [Insert Below]
Stated above. Costs 4000 life force.
Technique Drawbacks: (Insert Below)
Dark Fusion lasts for 7 posts at a time. Also, every single use of Dark Fusion reduces the user's lifespan by two years. On top of that, the 4000 life force cost is incredibly detrimental to the safety of the user. When used, it replaces all other abilities the user picked up from Dark Edge.

Technique Name: [The Circle of Evil]
Class: [2-0]
Technique Type: [Other]
Usable By: [Any race]
Technique Element: [N/A]
Technique Description and Effect: [Insert Below]
The Circle of Evil conjures a circle of green light around the user and any designated enemies, repulsing anyone who isn't invited and welcomed into the circle.

Technique Name: [Ultimate Cutback]*
Class: [1]
Technique Type: [Other]
Usable By (Technique is available to which races?): [All Races]
Technique Element: [None]
Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): [Insert Below]

Kagami Murai is Dead
Side Note: For starters, I can't believe that I found this burried under the bricks that used to make up the Satou Family Manor, but I'll explain that part later. Finding this journal had just made me reflect (( pun intended )) on all that's happened. Looking back, I've made so much progress but haven't changed a bit. It's nice to see where I come from and to relive my past, both its positive and negative moments. I can't say that I have no regrets, but I know it's best to keep my head up with a smile and just move forward. There was this quote I came upon recently, and I'm not that type of person but this one just stuck in my head. It went something like "You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching, love like you'll never be hurt, sing like there's nobody listening, and live like it's heaven on earth.” I mean, I as long as you replace love with drink, I think it's pretty appropriate. Life moves on and mine's just getting started.
Entry 1
I guess I should start by explaining why I'm writing in this. First of all, my parents are staring at me eagerly, practically looking over my shoulder to try to get a peak of what I'm saying. This is what I get for my 12th birthday? Honestly, that sword I saw earlier would have made a much better gift, but apparently they had hoped this would be special. And how could I say no with those excited grins lighting their faces up like a Christmas Tree. So if they actually expect me to write out my story in this, I'd better start from the beginning.
I was born on February 2, 1927 in Hiroshima. My mother, Kana Satou, is the only daughter of one of the last great noble families of Japan, which apparently put much strain on her from my grandfather, though he passed away long before I was born. After just a little while, she was the final member of the Satou noble household, and I was meant to succeed and inherit the riches our family treasures as well as the mansion we currently live in at the heart of Hiroshima. However, instead of marrying into another aristocratic family like she should have, she fell in love with my father, Yousef Murai. He was a recent immigrant from the Middle East, but I suppose his comical attitude somehow stole my Mom's heart. I don't see how that could have worked, but I'm not gonna complain considering that without them, I wouldn't be here. They tell me stories about my birth, and how they see myself as a reflection of them with both my Dad's gray hair and my Mom's piercing violet eyes. Murai already means mirror, but I guess repetition doesn't hurt. They felt like Kagami, Japanese for Mirror, would do perfectly for my first name. Kagami Murai, Mirror Mirror. I guess it has a bit of a ring to it.
Edit: I guess somehow my name means more to me than I thought. That day had practically decided my Zanpakuto's outcome, and I'm not gonna complain. Mom, Dad, thanks. I hope you guys are fine in Rukongai, and maybe I'll be lucky enough to run into you. I miss you guys...
As the future head of a rapidly decaying family, I have to go through a lot of ancient traditional training that I couldn't talk my parents out of letting me skip. Since I started walking, they taught me a wide variety of languages including Japanese, English, Arabic, French, and Spanish. I get to be home-schooled just so my parents can teach me those specific skills as well as more generic school topics like Japanese History, Mathematics, Literature, and Sciences. But the fun only started when I turned five years old. I received heavy training in swordsmanship as well as close combat, though the swordsmanship was what I excelled at. As soon as I reached the stage in martial arts that my parents deemed "satisfactory." By the time I was eight years old, I practically ate, breathed, and slept swordsmanship. I even study styles from various countries as well as fencing, which I like to switch between to form my own style.
I think this is enough to get me started. Parents are really starting to bother me about what I wrote. According to them, this is what will be used as my records as the head of the Satou House, though I honestly don't know how much longer this family's nobility will last. Well, I'd say wish me luck, but that'd just seem weird considering that I'm not talking to anyone in particular. And on that note (which I did not just use to fill up space to make sure my parents deem this entry worthy), I'll be returning to my birthday celebration. Salam!
Entry 2
Damn, I haven't found this thing in a while. Apparently, I was supposed to be updating this regularly. Oh well. But I can't say that I'm not guilty for ignoring it for so long. So why not fill in the long gap I've left in the legendary life of Kagami Murai. For starters, I'm now eighteen years old. Today specifically is July 31, 1945. All that's been happening was this big war against the United States, but I haven't been too involved in that. Technically, because of my "special situation" as head of the Satou Family, I'm excused from participating in the Navy, so I get to continue studying and learning back here.
But lately, I've just had so much free time that I didn't know what to do with at first. And then, in the past month, I've made a habit of heading out to this local bar on my free nights. Boy, I didn't know the meaning of drinking until I turned that place upside down. Wine that I had tasted before at my home just wasn't even closely related to the beer and gin I had been introduced to at this place. But when my visits got more frequent and my intoxication level got higher, I found that running into some drunk idiots was one of the most entertaining parts of the night. Fights against drunkards are pretty simple, even if I can't seem to stand straight myself. But I've found that winning is relatively easy and I've built quite a reputation at the bar in just a few weeks. My visits became more frequent and before I knew it, I started going there every night.
My parents never found out, of course. However, there is one person I couldn't keep this from: my fiancee, Manamati Itou. She was the daughter of a member of the Itou Household, and my mother believed that the best way to save the Satou Family was to merge it with another Noble Family. I didn't need an arranged marriage to fall in love with her immediately, though she did need a bit of convincing. But I did win her over eventually. And she loved hearing the bar stories, especially about all my great fights. Though she always lectured me about not sticking my head out too much. Though have I really gotten into trouble yet? I think I should be set if I keep doing what I do.
Manami and I are meant to be married in a week, so my life's finally about to take off. I'm a little nervous, since she's probably gonna make me stop heading to the bars as often. And, odds are that I'll eventually become the leader of her Family. It's just more responsibility to pile on, really, but if it makes her happy, I'll do it. After all, that's practically my job now. Until next time, au revoir!
Edit: God, I was an idiot. I died three days later in the bombing of Hiroshima. The wedding never happened. My life was over in literally a bright flash, so the bomb must have practically detonated right above my head. I mean at least I got a quick end. But everything was gone, my parents, Manami, me... I don't know why I'm confessing this to a sheet of paper but I learned a big lesson from the pain I went through after all of that. Manami was one of a kind, and if I ever find her again, maybe we can pick back up where we started. Otherwise, though, I can't seem myself with anyone else. That's the main reason I don't get serious with the girls I meet, and why I probably never will.
Entry 3
So I've updated you (not sure what I mean by "you") on how my life met a sudden and abrupt end, like having your meal ripped right out of your mouth before you even get a chance to swallow it. However, little did I know that I'd be served another course. The next thing I remember after the explosion was finding myself in the middle of one of Rukongai's districts. I could barely take in the change of setting from my quite room at what used to be the Satou Manor to the wild and busy streets of Soul Society. However, a loud, obnoxious voice on my left was kind enough to comfort me.
I think the first words Damon ever spoke to me were "Why are you staring with your mouth open? Are you retarded or something?" Was I pissed off. I jumped to face him, my face red with rage, and prepared to unleash a fury of insults until I was struck dumb by his expression. I couldn't have predicted that he had a stupid smile planted on his face. My first thought was what on Earth gave him the right to call me stupid? But, we got to talking and he explained this whole death situation to me. He had to go through it too, a long long time ago. This guy was from Ancient Greece, the type of person I had to study about for a good year in my childhood. Honestly, he was just a normal guy, so that was a big waste of my time. But I can't say that I didn't take a liking to him. When I asked him if he wanted to grab a bite considering that my stomach was rumbling, he flashed me another one of his dumb grins.
And that pretty much started our journey together in Soul Society. We applied together to begin training as Shinigami. Apparently he had taken decades his reiatsu to discover that he had some reiatsu and had pretty much procrastinated becoming a Shinigami since then. His favorite excuse was that he needed a proper drinking partner, and that's when I came along. Right off the bat, I knew I was going to like this guy.
Entry 4
Finally found time to put in another entry. In the past few weeks, I've either been working nonstop or dealing with a killer hangover. The rest of my time is dedicated to nights that I can't seem to remember to clearly. Some people tell me that I have a drinking problem, and I'm suddenly starting to think that maybe they aren't wrong.
Anyways, back on topic. I still need to fill you in on everything you've missed in the past... how many years? Damn its been a while. In my last entry, I introduced you to Damon, and since then, we've pretty much become best friends. Of course there are others I talk to and hang out with in Shino Academy, but none are nearly as noteworthy as Damon. For the most part, though, I found him to be not only a great friend but the perfect rival.
The strange part is that it's not like we're competing for the best in a certain subject. Wherever he exceeds, I seem to lack. And wherever my strengths lie, he is struggling. That way, he can help me work my ass of to catch up to him in say reiatsu control and Kido practice. However, I on the other hand give him a hand in swordsmanship and other combat courses as well as our more tedious classes such as History and Hollow Knowledge. In other words, I am hopeless with controlling my reiatsu, even suppressing it is impossible in my case. And Kido is too difficult for me to get the hang of so I work on perfecting just a select few. Damon, on the other hand, is my polar opposite. Though he can make his reiatsu tap dance if he wanted to, he can't seem to get in touch with his Zanpakuto spirit easily. And when it comes to close-combat, he can't hold is own to well. But with each other, it seems that we can help patch up our weakness. It's a pretty great relationship, not to mention how much fun we have in the mean time. Damon has become my brother and I couldn't have asked for a better sibling.
This Shinigami Academy thing hasn't turned out to be too bad overall. Though I'm starting to get near my last year so I should really be deciding which Squad I want to join. Actually, I should have decided a long time ago but better late than never, right? Honestly, after hearing about the reputation of Squad 9's Captain, that would be my first choice. Who wouldn't want to have a drink with the Lion Captain Raion? But my instructors have begun to pick up on my skills as a tactician and aparently that isn't too common. They highly recommend me joining Squad 1. I figured that I am a Shinigami for a reason and even though Squad 1 might not be as fun, I would be contributing more there. So that pretty much led up to my choice after my graduation and my initial acceptance into the First Division. I'll tell you the rest later. Siyonara!
Entry 5
So, like I said earlier. I did eventually join Squad 1. It's been two years since then and Damon and I have been lazy as shit lately. We've barely done anything for the Squad and mostly went on basic patrols. Overall, it didn't seem like we had much promise as Shinigami. However, just a few weeks ago, I was invited to serve under the fifteenth seated officer in a small routine mission against a recent outbreak of hollows.
Honestly, I was tempted to decline it (like I had 90% of the other opportunities I was offered) until I discovered that Damon was one of the other Shinigami invited. We talked it over and as reluctant as we were, we ended up deciding that we had to actually start acting as Shinigami or our whole efforts would have been wasted. After all, how else are we supposed to actually become the strongest in the Gotei 13? That is the dream we had been working towards for a long time now and we've procrastinated long enough. Sometimes, I wish we had laid back a little longer. That mission was the last time Damon and I would ever fight side by side.
When we first arrived at the site, there were a few stray Hollows in unpopulated urban area. For the most part, our battle took place over the rooftops of the remote town. It was the middle of the night so we didn't have to worry much about nearby humans roaming the streets. What we did have to worry about, though, was the ambush that was waiting for us. Before we knew it, five Gillian emerged out of no where. The Giant beasts roared in the night sky and blasted Cero all over the place, taking out two of our nine Shinigami in seconds. That was all the wake up call we needed to recovered our wits and defend against the giant Menoses.
Just as the fight broke out, I was fairly certain we were not going to survive. Our Squad 1 leader was more competent in war strategy rather than close combat and wasn't used to seeing the fierce battle from the front lines. However, he managed to hold is own against one of the Menos while the other two were engaged with four other Shinigami, Damon, and myself. Those four Shinigami from various squads were continuously getting pushed by back one of the Gillian while Damon and I weren't fairing too well against the other. He would strike it with Kido and get its attention while I attacked from up close. However, I had to stay nimble or I wouldn't last long. And that was one tough Gillian. There was one point where it hit my arm with a burning Cero that made it difficult for the limb to even lift my sword. I had to switch my Zanpakuto to my weaker left hand and keep fighting, because Damon needed me.
That man was firing off Kido like there was no tomorrow. The sad part for him was that there wasn't. Is strikes kept bouncing off the demon's mask as it stared at him, unentertained. The hollow seemed to decide that it was done playing and turned to me. I could have sworn that it was smiling under that bone-white mask. Glared back, my bleeding arm hanging limp at my side, as it charged up and launched another Cero directly at me. I had to accept my fate, but someone else didn't. The next thing I saw was Damon leaping in front of me, maintaining a Bakuda shield on his wrists. However, his defense shattered and just before his body was fried by the Gillian's reiatsu, he smiled and mouthed a few words with his last breath. Those were his last words and I couldn't even make them out from the noise of the explosion.
I can't even explain to you what happened, but something inside my head clicked. And I heard a sweet voice speak to me, one that had only appeared in a few blurry dreams before. It told me "We'll avenge him together. You and me. Kagami Murai and Shinkiro Mai." Next thing I knew, my blade was glowing and then sparkling. All of a sudden, its shape changed in my hands and I'm staring at this Jade sword with a hilt that was pretty much molded to fit my hand. And I felt this new power surging through my body. I can't explain how i knew what to do but I caused a mirror to appear directly behind the Hollow and one directly next to me. From there, I fired a Hado spell into it and it reemerged behind the Gillian, striking it on the back of its head. Apparently, the Hollow was quite damaged from the technique but I was too fueled with anger to let it recover. I struck it down with one final slash and it vaporized into black dust. I was done with the monster.
Our Squad 1 commander was close to death and obviously needed assistance. I helped him out and together, we ended up eliminating the remaining hollows. But we weren't without casualties. A party of nine turned into a funeral for six held by the remaining three. I didn't shed a tear over Damon, I knew he wouldn't let me. So I gave him a nod farewell and silently buried him along side the remainder of our allies. What I had discovered that day really was not worth the price, but at least one of us could finish our dream. I will become the strongest Shinigami someday, for both of us....
Entry 6
Life has moved on, and since that fatal day against the Gillian. In fact, after the tragedy of Damon's death, I had earned myself a new nickname in the Gotei 13: Mirror Mirror. It suit me well. Not to mention the fact that I had built up quite a reputation in Soul Society. People had heard of my unique reflection-based power and I was considered to had one of the most beautiful Zanpakuto in all of Seireitei. Life was good.
And to make things better, I had spent all of my free time enjoying myself in the Human World. I went to many nightclubs and bars where I would spend multiple nights in many strange and unusual places, including the houses of many lucky women I had met that night. My only problem was that I was utterly broke. I figured if I was to find a place to stay, I might as well start with my old family mansion. However, I wasn't surprised to find that it was as demolished as it had been when I died. After all, that was only seven years ago. But what I was surprised to find after looking through the rubble for a couple of hours was that this little notebook was somehow still intact. That's when I had started to fill in my story once again, just in case I was going to be remembered for something. And that's about all my life has come to so far. The next time anything big happens, I'll be sure to fill you in. But until then, later.
Entry 7
A lot has being going on, so I figured that it's time to write some of it down so that when I become famous and eventually die, the world has this record of my thoughts and such to look back on. So, firs thing's first. I met this Arrancar by the name of Col Arana in New York City. Guy's a monster. The fight was pretty even, but he hadn't even released and I was fighting all out with my shikai. Eventually, he managed to land a cut to my wrist so I figured that it was time to back out of an uneven fight. Then, thing's started getting trippy. As I began to retreat, he trapped me with Bakudo. The Arrancar could use Kido, and that just spell out bad news. I had to fake my death by leading him to believe that his Cero killed me. The guy's still out there, and I'm hoping to find out more about him.
And I had a run in with another Arrancar, too. This one wasn't quite as mysterious and unknown considering how many times she had invaded the Rukongai several times. The Septima Espada, Myzaraphinston Synderfell, and I crossed path's in Karakura. She put up a fight, but cockiness eventually brought her down. She was trapped by my mirrors and impaled in every inche of her body thanks to my brilliant Zanpakuto. But the bitch felt like opening up some past wounds that hadn't completely healed yet. She picked up on Manami and tried using that knowledge against me, but I put the bitch in her place. She won't have the guts to ever bring something up like that again to my face.
Let me add Quincy to my list of dislikes, as well. In a Central 46 member's wedding, the Vandenreich decided to attack, a manuever that only served as a distraction so that they could steal the Hougyoku. Those Quincy ripped up my suit, but I made sure to kill them after that. It all would have been fine had Sozen Kuchiki not called my suit cheap. That bastard just started a feud right there, and he could expect me to send him a formal challenge in due time. The Head of the Kuchiki family better prepare to have his ass handed to him my the Mirror Master.
Speaking of Kuchiki, not all of them are bad. I met Takehiko Kuchiki on a mission in Vegas, which ended giving us plenty of cash. On top of that, I got the guy in a dress. That was worth the trip. I also met the famous Anastasia Kuchiki, who I practically knocked out half of Seireitei for and only received a kiss in exchange before she skipped out on me. I should have known better, but I owe her too. She got me access to the Kuchiki Library, where I learned about Sozen's sister, Saeki Kuchiki. She just might be able to help me find Manami. Maybe...
Entry 8
Things went wrong very quickly. Now that I'm back in Soul Society, I've got access to this agin, so let me fill what's happened. I captured Sato Hoshi, a criminal Saeki requested that I bring to justice in exchange for her information. She sends me to meet Manami in a distant Rukongai district where I find that Manami and Adalo are having sex. I don't know what happened, but something in me snapped. I was yelling. I was denying it all. I couldn't take it, so I attacked Adalo, but I had no effect. And, as relaxed as ever, he crushed his eyeball and smeared his blood on my face. I couldn't even move, and Manami easily used some sort of beam technique to burn a hole through my chest. I passed out.
When I woke up days later, I was in a Rukongai hospital. Hotaru had apparently been watching me, but while she was out, a stranger gave me a mysterious Red Cross and provided some underworld connections. Once I had recovered, I left the hospital without any warning. I didn't even tell Hotaru. In that time, I had -

Maybe...

In that time, I had -
And that is where the tale of Kagami Murai ends.
Chapter One
Douma was born with the visit of Lord Callus. At the time, he was an anonymous figure that the recovering Kagami Murai didn’t recognize. He opened up a new path, one where the hateful Angel of Silence could thrive and grow powerful: the world of crime. And so the stranger gifted Douma a blood-red cross that allowed him to flex and darken his reiatsu around him before sending the man off into the Underworld.
Douma made his first appearance in the most significant event to occur in Seireitei in decades: an invasion and break-out. He worked alongside Kento Sasaki and Anarchy in order to free the Senzaikyu Prisoners, an effort orchestrated by none other than Saiki Kuchiki. As much hate as he had for her, Douma found himself attracted by Saiki’s offers. She taught him horrific techniques buried by their creators, Sozen Kuchiki and Sonken Kouhai, the Dark Edge techniques. More importantly, she taught Douma how to locate Manami. Kagami kept struggling to emerge and chase after his lover, but Douma suppressed him. He instead developed a plan that would allow him to grow more powerful than Kagami Murai ever could.
Douma began recruiting allies and expanding his ranks while training, allying with individuals such as Ryuunosuke Hamada, a member of the Espada, and Anarchy, one of the most powerful mercenaries in the underworld. Eventually, he was able to orchestrate a cooperative mission with Seireitei - the rescue of Kagami Murai from the Black Parade, a black market organization. With the help of Hotaru Kuchiki and Aevus, “Kagami Murai,” a mirror clone of Douma’s body, returned to the Gotei 13 as Captain of the 13th Division. As a test of his power, Douma flexed his strength before an audience in his battle with Squad 2 Captain Harle Quinn, defeating her without even releasing bankai. But that wasn’t enough power. His zanpakuto was too limiting. Douma needed more strength, and there was no cost he wouldn’t pay. Not even his life. And so he embraced a bakkoto after the design of his zanpakuto. With the mirror parasite embedded in him, Douma and Kagami made an agreement. They would find Manami. Kagami would attempt to find closure before vanishing forever.
Chapter 2
Douma and Manami met in an abandoned city, but it wasn’t Douma that Manami faced. Instead, Kagami reemerged for that battle. On the other hand, Manami wasn’t the enemy either. No, Kagami was fighting against Manami’s darker half: Basilisk. She was powerful, forcing Kagami to use all of the techniques at his disposal. However, in the end, Basilisk manipulated his feelings for Manami, luring him into a trap where a dark secret is revealed. Adalo inserted a piece of himself into Manami, using her as a vessel. It was Adalo that defeated Kagami, not Manami or Basilisk. And that only fueled the fiery rage that drove Douma.
And so the Angel of Death transferred his soul into a new body, that of Ren Kasumi’Oji. However, Basilisk had destroyed his bakkoto, so he gained a new, more powerful parasite. This power, however, was an alternate, stronger version of Adalo’s “Black World.” Douma superior “Dark World” was made to bring down the Arrancar King. With his new powers, he carried the dead body of Kagami Murai to Seireitei along with his allies, Anarchy and Ryunosuke Hamada. Together, they laid waste to all of the Squad 13 facilities, leaving Kagami’s body behind. Afterward, Douma continued expanding his connections. He made alliances with both Shizuka Sanamizu, the Xcution assassin, and Aevus, the Shinigami with a hollow reiatsu within him.
As his operations grew, he was drawn into larger illegal affairs. (( I’ll continue this section as his history expands more ))
