Character Name: Ryunosuke Hamada
Previous Real Age: 150
Current/New Real Age: 151
Previous Age of Appearance:[/b] 22
Current/New Age of Appearance: 22
New Ideals/Personality:
Completed Goal:
1) Get A Better Spot
New Goal:
1) Establish Criminal Influence Further. Ryunosuke has an in with two of the five most dominant figures in the Spiritual underground, and hopes to expand this influence further. Now, the question is, will he start dealing with illegal affairs himself, or is he just going to stick with assisting people who are personally doing illegal things? Ryunosuke, despite his position as the Segunda, doesn't see himself as a leader per se, but rather as a hitman in the service of a greater cause. So, likely, for the future, he'll stick with a simple goal: become allies with Satsujun, Kayneth Wayne, and Anarchy.
Dislikes:
Whatever Dickbag Zarpa Has The Number 4
New:
12) Whichever Asshole Zarpa Has The Number 2. Inheriting Kuroi’s position hasn’t come without a cost to Ryunosuke. Kuroi made a lot of enemies in his time as Segunda, and made a very large name for himself in the process. Based on what Ryunosuke has learned, there exists a group of Arrancar out there, dedicated to killing the Espada, and Ryunosuke is certain that whichever one has the number 2 probably has it because of how much they dislike Kuroi. Which is gonna make their attacks on his life that much more frustrating.
Flaws:
6) Tangled Web Of Lies. Ryunosuke is making alliances with numerous people, many of whom have conflicting goals. At the moment, he’s navigating it successfully, and given his strength relative to a large number of them, he’s confident that if worse comes to worse, he’ll be able to beat down one or two of them. But right now, it could all blow up in his face if he’s not careful. At some point, lies are going to conflict, promises are going to oppose each other, and Ryunosuke is gonna have to burn one, or several, of his bridges.
New Appearance:
Of course, since he's received a promotion, Ryunosuke has had his Espada tattoo changed. Whereas before, it was only visible when his shirt was off, and was a Four, now that he's the second strongest Espada, he can't quite hide his status like that anymore. Now, the tattoo is clearly visible on the palm of his right hand, so that it's the last thing that people see before he unleashes a Cero the size of a mountain in their general direction. The two is blocky, and clearly stylized.
In addition, Ryunosuke no longer wears his rings anymore, as the jewelry doesn't really do it for him. They're locked away, in safe keeping, in his room in Las Noches. He still wears his dog tag necklace, of course, but now wears it wrapped around his left wrist, instead of hidden and around his neck. He reinforced it with Sekki Sekki powder, obtained from Takashi Kuchiki, so that it wouldn't shatter when he fully utilizes his power, but beyond that, it is unchanged and normal.
Another thing to note: Ryunosuke has started to reveal that he possesses a second type of reiatsu. The first type, the quicksilver type, is the one that is known to all who he has met. It is the reiatsu of his Deception aspect of death. But now, Sargon has learned that Ryunosuke possesses a second, secret reiatsu. The secret reiatsu is crimson in color, and feels burning hot, like someone is being smothered in flames. But simultaneously, it feels solid, spiked even.
This reiatsu is Ryunosuke's True Reiatsu, when he is not lying to himself and others. It is the reiatsu of Revenge. But he has to suppress it, not let it be apart of himself, for if he reveals it, he is in danger of the great Demon of De-Mona taking note of him. And so he crafted the technique Reiatsu Lie in order to conceal the nature of his reiatsu.

What kind of update: Rank Update

Reasoning For The Promotion:
Ultimately, Ryunosuke’s promotion wasn’t strictly a reward for him, but a punishment for Kuroi. After Kuroi’s failure and defeat at the hands of Sozen Kuchiki, and his subsequent fall from grace in the eyes of Sonken Kouhai, Ryunosuke continued to preform admirably in the field, and his repeated instances of clear loyalty, a trait rare amongst the Arrancars of Las Noches, caused him to rise in the eyes of Kouhai. Of course, before the promotion, Ryunosuke was still only the Cuarta, and thus Sargon, the Tercera, would be a traditional choice for Segunda.
But Kouhai is one of the best readers in the three worlds who doesn’t utilize energy sensory to know exactly what people are thinking and acting. And with the spot of Segunda open, after Kuroi’s switch to being an Envainar, a replacement was needed. By giving the spot to Sargon, and recognizing his power, Kouhai would have promoted the Arrancar’s delusions of grandeur, and increased the likelihood of a rebellion. But Ryunosuke needs Kouhai to get his girlfriend back, and has a loyalty to him that even Kouhai finds strange.
Given Ryunosuke’s ability to match Sargon blow for blow, there would be little sacrifice in power in promoting Ryunosuke instead. And so, Ryunosuke was offered a chance at glory. A mission, under Kuroi’s supervision, that would determine whether he was capable of functioning in the big leagues or not. And although the results aren’t fully settled yet, it’s hard to say that he hasn’t been impressive.
