"Well, Jak, I feel this way because I know you don't mean anything bad by it. You probably intended to use your powers for good but they've caused you to stray from your original path. I only kill those who I am told to kill. And Shinigami, but that's because I hate them." Jak looked up at her. "You too huh?" he asked drawing his feet closer to him. "Maybe your right, but I just don't know how to get back on my path." He watched her approach him and take his arm pulling him to his feet. He took her arm as well allowing himself to be helped up. He was feeling a little better now. Though he still felt a little uneasy about his powers still being out of control. "I'm not going to hurt you, so don't worry. Besides, you know I could kick your butt. Do you really want to fight me?" Jak looked down again. This time to try and hide the slight smile that was spreading across his face. "No I suppose not."

He wasn't as dangerous as he made himself out to be. There were pros and cons to his powers but there was no reason for him to fear his own abilities the way he did. Shizuka could see that there was a small light within him that he needed to find because she could tell he wasn't a bad person. Jak needed to do some soul searching but it wouldn't be too bad for him. She had faith that he'd be able to figure all of this out soon and stop letting it bother him so much. Maybe if he trained himself to handle his powers more, he'd feel better about not losing control.
"I see that smile! So just cheer up and remember that you're always in control. You're stronger than that, okay?"
Shizuka was hesitant to offer training him because he probably wasn't the type to want to hurt someone who was nice to him. She wouldn't mind, but that may have to be a discussion for another time. It wasn't the right atmosphere, especially after she almost blew him up. Her attack was risky, but she knew he'd handle it and come out just fine. In the future, though, it may not be so easy. She'd have to see where he goes and how strong he gets on his own before she trained with him because learning how to control his strength was the first step.
"So what do you say? Let's revisit this later. Train yourself and grow stronger. Don't be so afraid of what you might do, but believe in what you can do. You'll be fine, I promise!"

"I see that smile! So just cheer up and remember that you're always in control. You're stronger than that, okay?" He looked up at her that smile still on his face. He did not know why, but he did felt a little comfortable around her. Her confidence in him kind of reminded him of his mother. Whenever he didn't think he couldn't handle something, she would always the'll him that he was stronger than the situation. That is just how Shizuka reminds him of her. It was kind of nice. He nodded feeling more confident, even if it was just a little bit. He realized that he could either let his powers control him, or he can take control of them.
"So what do you say? Let's revisit this later. Train yourself and grow stronger. Don't be so afraid of what you might do, but believe in what you can do. You'll be fine, I promise!" Jak clenched his fist looking at it a bit. He didn't know how much he could not worry about it, but he will need to face it regardless. "Of course. The next time we meet. Maybe you will finally see the real me." he said looking back at her. He turned with a wave of his hand heading back out of the street. He was tired. Hid body ached. He needed some sleep. He stretched and yawned as he walked down the deserted side walk hearing some sirens coming closer. He figured that someone must have called after the explosion.

Shizuka waved back as she watched Jak turn and walk away from her. The smile that was spread across her lips slowly faded as her expression became significantly more serious than it had been while she spoke with him. Her eyes were mature instead of friendly and everything about her showed that she meant business. Her posture changed as she put her left hand on her hip and sighed. Was she being fake in front of him? No, of course not. She genuinely meant what she said. Shizuka carefully pulled her phone out of her pocket and opened it up, sending a message to the anonymous Xcution line. She didn't know who received or sent these messages out, but it was the only form of communication they had.
As she typed, she assessed Jak's powers and what she felt was their level of strength. She wrote out any information she could think of that she remembered from their battle just moments before. Since this was her first time being in contact with a Nakabakki, the notes she took were crucial to her organization. She had only heard of this race before but as soon as she was able to link that encounter with what he really was, she knew immediately. Shizuka clicked the little blue SEND button and her message was delivered. She stood for a moment before forcing herself to return home, wondering if Jak even truly knew what he was and what his capabilities were. Next time she saw him, that would have to be a chat they'd need to have.
