Plotline: [Let's discuss a typical evening for spiritual beings here. Oakland is a shit hole. Everyone knows it. So why would anyone, especially with great power, live here? Because in the criminal life of Oakland, life is booming for spiritual beings, many of whom have become inconspicuous criminals supporting drug trade or gangs. And, if you're of enough power, you can also support higher echelon gangs that are exclusively spiritual. That's where we are right now.

In Oakland, a gang called Brothers Grim is known for exporting and importing high intensity black market spiritual drugs to and from the human world to Seireitei, and vice versa, for a variety of clientele. Today, they're here to smuggle drugs into the Seireitei. That's what it seems like. It's another normal day. Normally, only basic level Soul Reapers would be here to stop them.

But, if you're in the "know," and you're high enough rank, you're informed that today is unusual. Supposedly, though you're unlikely to have been told what, they're smuggling "something else" with the drugs. You know this because Uzaki Enterprises members and a Soul Reaper team have established a headquarters near one of the known meeting places for the smugglers. They're going to stop the operation in its tracks, and seize the drugs and "something else." If you're not convinced that it's unnatural, also note that some special muscle has been hired today to assist. Las Noches and Xcution have sent people to help ensure this operation's success. Whatever this "something else" is, they want it in Seireitei. Free agents have also been hired by both sides. Some free agents were hired by Brothers Grim who really are there just for a paycheck. Some are actually double agents, or in other words they're spies that were put there to foil the operation.

So, here's how it works. If you're from UE or Seireitei, you're trying to stop this drug shipment. If you're from Las Noches or Xcution, you're assisting it. And if you're from any other organization, or you're a free agent, you get to choose who you're helping. But, this thread won't be ending with just that operation.]

Kagami Murai… Soul Society is problem wondering where the hell he is. After all, he’s currently the best military strategist that the Gotei Thirteen has. He’s amongst Soul Society’s strongest, especially out of those who aren’t Captains. He does the heavy lifting and takes on leadership roles, but… where was he? Kagami had seemed to disappear out of the blue. It all happened the night after he took Hotaru Kuchiki, Squad 11 Third Seat to dinner. He vanished with no footprint, leaving just a bottle of wine for his last date. But then Kagami went back into Soul Society’s radar a week later when Aoi Kuchiki had encountered him during a hostile meeting with Adalo De-Mona, where he almost lost his life.

With a hole through his chest, Kagami was carried by Hotaru Kuchiki to the Rukongai West District Seven Hospital, where Sozen was also able to account for Kagami’s presence. Hotaru Kuchiki, for the most part, overlooked his recovery when suddenly – he vanished… He had three days left before he was due to be released, yet he left without a word. Seireitei could not account for him during the couple of months that have passed since he left the hospital. As of now, he is marked as MIA, and Captain Commander Ningen hasn’t commented on taking a replacement. Perhaps he, along with a few admirers of the Lieutenant, were all wondering…. Where is Kagami Murai?

A man walked down an ally in Oakland, wearing a black trench coat and black shirt beneath it. Even his jeans were black, matching the sketchy, dark appearance he took on. The trench coat hid his belongs that were strapped on his waist. He had a pouch containing his kunai and other small items. A mirror boomerang was attached at his belt. Two swords were held at his hips, the one on the left a one-handed katana-like weapon with a dark green handle and sheath to match and the one on the left some sort of one-handed blade with a black handle and a simple leather sheath.

But the man’s face… something about it was troubling. First and foremost, it was hidden by a horrendous white mask. The mask was simple, and its round frame and surface were only decorated with small slots for the eyes. However, the left slot was broken, like a black plague had corroded its edges and formed a crack below it that mimicked a hollow tear. But it wasn’t the broken eye that was scary. It was the fact that whatever tore away at left eye and killed a part of it could not reach the right one. There was something about that other eye that was untouched by the darkness. Or maybe it had already been consumed by it.

Kagami’s identity was well protected with his makeshift disguise. All he knew was that he had been offered a job within the Human World’s Black Market. Kagami had some experience shopping in the Black Market in Soul Society, and this one, he found wasn’t very different. It gave him insight on how the market functioned. How he could destroy it. How he could build it back up to be better and stronger than ever before. This was all preparation for a much larger goal. It wasn’t just a job.

The Vice Captain, if he could still refer to himself with that title, rounded the corner of the narrow, unlit path. He was finally there. To his left, he found a rusted iron door leading into a large building that appeared to be an abandoned factory of sorts. He relied on his energy sensory to determine who was nearby and who was already in the factory. No matter what his senses picked up, Kagami knew that this was the location. The instructions he received from his employers, the Grim Brothers, couldn’t have been more precise. This was the building. No matter who or what he would find in there, Kagami was ready. After all, he had already faced monsters and demons. He had already died. He was just a phantom. He had nothing to lose but his vengeance.

The night had just begun, and Marcus was already fed up with it. He couldn’t stand another hour more, but they had only been on stake out for twice that duration. He wasn’t physically exhausted or mentally fatigued, though the issue was definitely mental. The Fullbringer was used to working on his own and executing solo missions, which almost always ended in his favor. But now, Kazura threw a curve ball at him. He was to go on this assignment with none other than the chief of security, Yoko Kusanagi.

How did Marcus feel about Yoko? Well, that question was complicated. Before that night, the man hadn’t even met Yoko in person before. Their paths just never crossed, for he was always working in accounting and doing missions abroad while she stayed close to Kazura at all times. She had the better job, but Marcus was willing to do Kazura’s bidding while she was fortunate enough to keep him safe. But her reputation seemed slightly intimidating. Yoko was rumored to be very stern and — well, Marcus has heard her be referred to as a bitch once or twice. But never in a bad way, for those who complained still seemed to admire her. Marcus had almost been looking forward to their first meeting. Almost.

It would have been appropriate for the two greatest forces of Uzaki Enterprise, Kazura’s right and left hands, to form an instant chemistry and friendship that could only serve to better the organization. However, Marcus didn’t take a major factor into account: his social disabilities. The man struggled with a deterring stutter and severe social anxiety that made it incredibly difficult to communicate with others. Most of that disappeared when Harle was around, but sadly, they were apart too often. Marcus’s mental distress was too heavy of a burden for him to carry on his own, and he had cracked once or twice privately. But he always maintained his composure during work matters.

As they sat situated in the eighth floor of an office building, Marcus stared at the warehouse across the street through a pair of binoculars. He occasionally ran his gaze around the building and checked other near by buildings, but the warehouse across the street was the main focus. However, a bead of sweat was running down his forehead. Why? Because Yoko was in the same room as him, along with a couple of Shinigami represenatives. But they didn’t matter to him. He just couldn’t handle the intimidation that Yoko’s presence brought.

So he sat there in silence the whole night, unintentionally ignoring her. She may speak to him, but Marcus was socially retarded. He couldn’t carry out a conversation if his life depended on it. So, Yoko might ask how his day was. “Okay.” What he liked to do outside of work. “Nothing.” How life was going. “Okay.” If he wanted a coffee. “No.” It can’t be helped, Marcus was just the least amiable person in Uzaki Enterprise because of his nonexistent interpersonal skills. But when any fighting broke out, Marcus would find that he and Yoko spoke the same language.

Nighttime, stakeouts, and drug dealers. Three of Yoko’s least favorite things were packed into one lovely little mission. She hated the night for a multitude of reasons, but chief among them was that it was harder to spot people. Then there was the lack of sunlight in and of itself. One of her strongest abilities only functioned at full power in direct sunlight, so she was a little bit weaker at night. It was an undesirable trait, but she had to deal with it nonetheless. It wasn’t all bad though. Night meant people often got a bit careless. People assumed they were safe because of the darkness, but they couldn’t hide from Yoko. She had senses on par with a wild animal, and that meant she should see in the darkness nearly as well as in bright sunlight.

Even if she didn’t have that advantage, she had prepared enough that it was a non-issue. She wasn’t just some run of the mill soldier here to wait it out and then jump at the bad guys. No, she was the goddamn Chief of Security for Uzaki Enterprises, and she had prepared as if her reputation was on line. They had gotten tipped off to expect something unusual tonight, and a chartered jet had gotten them there well enough in advance for Yoko to scope out the location before anyone else arrived. She had 20 sticky cams handy, and that had been enough to cover every inch of that building, inside and out. Sure, there was a blind spot here or there, but short of a secret passage, there was no way to navigate through that building without being on camera.

The Chief had set up a base of operations inside an office building, across the street from the warehouse they were watching. Her phone was connected back to the same server that her cameras were all connected to, and that phone was hooked up to a large TV. From that one screen, she could effectively see everything going on inside and outside the target building. It was all set up in a back part of the office, away from any windows. No one outside that office would be able to tell all that equipment was set up from just looking in a window. It would take a security expert to detect the sticky cameras as well. Each was no larger than a silver dollar, and was placed inconspicuously.

On top of her picture-perfect surveillance, she also had one other useful asset on this mission: Marcus Cole. Her own strength was impressive, but Kazura had insisted they go together on this one. Yoko had read the file on Marcus, and done her homework well. The two had never met in person, but like most other employees she had a file on, Yoko already knew quite a bit about her counterpart. Most importantly, she had a decent grasp of his capabilities as a fighter. With what information was available, she knew what to expect of him in battle. She was familiar with his… issues… when it came to socialization as well. That was fine. She didn’t talk without reason, and his personality probably meant he would follow her orders in the field without much hesitation. That was perfect.

For a good chunk of that evening, Yoko sat, alone, in the back room. The glare of the screens washed over her, but she didn’t get bored of watching them like most others would. No, Yoko was calm and collected, as she always was. She knew the importance of this assignment, and there was no way something as pathetic as boredom would stop her from carrying out her mission. Eventually though, she disconnected her phone from the TV and walked out of the back room. Boredom had not overtaken her. It was simply time for phase two. A target had been spotted approaching the warehouse, so Yoko moved to a better position.

What could be better than a big TV with all the cameras on it? A silenced sniper rifle of course! Yoko had set this up in advance as well. She had a perfect view of the main entrance to the warehouse, as well as a good shot at the front half of it through some windows near the top of the building. She couldn’t see too far inside with the angle she had, but it was enough to work with. And of course, her preparations here were just as well thought out as with the cameras. Her entire rig was hidden under a blackout curtain, so she wasn’t easily visible from the outside. Underneath that black cloth was Yoko, her rifle, and a pair of spare magazines. She had the gun loaded up with explosive rounds to start, but she had standard bullets and seki seki rounds pre-loaded and ready to go at a moment’s notice.

All she had to do now was wait for the ideal shot.

For the sake of this thread being a little more fire, I'mma add a firepower scale. This goes for ALL firearms, including releases. If you have anything gunlike, this applies. I'm scaling based almost on real life gun speeds.

ANY handgun, for purposes of this thread, moves at 3200 speed. Why? Here's why. Average hand guns hit about 750 MPH, just under the speed of sound. For argument's sake, we'll say that any handgun is Mach 1, or the exact speed of sound. The average human, by Zou's scale, runs at about 12 MPH. "Average" is 50 speed. The speed of sound is about 768 MPH. Divided up, that's about 64. 64 x 50 is 3200. So, 3200.

By that scale, a rifle, which is averaged at 3000 MPH, translates to 250 x 50. 12500 speed. What is essentially just over Mach 4. This applies to any sniper rifle round.

So, based on all these calculations, here are approx. speeds for all gun types.

Hand Guns - 3200

Rifles - 12500

SMG - 3000

Machine guns of any kind excluding SMG - 4000

Shotguns - 2500

Rocket launchers will be 1500 speed, just to balance those a bit. XD

OOC: I posted this intro BEFORE Asmo posted because I wanna get the ball rolling. Asmo will now post based on this post, and I'll post after Asmo, and then the post after that will be Kagami/Marcus, then Yoko, then I'll post again. This is followed by Asmo, then Kagami/Marcus, then Yoko, then me again, and after that we'll figure out the rest.

The warehouse that Kagami would initially enter housed several people already when he first got there. It was a grim looking gray box without many features, and only a few large boxes with covers of some kind on them. Presumably, these were crates of material of some kind. Kagami would get there and find one...two...three...four...five... six total guys present already. They were all pretty intimidating looking, though Kagami, depending on who you were, might be even more intimidating. Well, as said. Depending on who you were. As he walked in, the other six turned to look at him, as he made their group number a total of seven.

"OHHHH SHIT!" One of those present exclaimed. "AWWEEE SHIT!! AHA!! AHAHAHAHA!!!" He was a young black gentleman in ratty jeans, a loose white t-shirt, and a black puffy vest. He had cornrows, stud earrings, and a beanie that was only half worn on his body. When he spoke, he had one golden tooth, and on his muscular arms he had a cross tattoo on both sides. Under his left eye, he had a teardrop tattoo. He had a gun holstered on his leg, and on his belt. "HAHAHA!" he exclaimed. "AWWWW SHIITTT!!! THIS GUY IS OUR NEW MUSCLE? AHAHAHAHA!" He went up close to Kagami, but didn't touch him, or get within touching range, and swatted the air in a lax manner at Kagami and laughed. "Yo yo, name's Darnell," he said.

Darnell continued laughing hysterically. "Dis nigga! AHAHA! Klu Klux Klan mask n everything! Foo's a straight up cruise control OG nigga. Dis is HELLA Halloween right here." Darnell pulled out a black flip phone, flicked down his speed dial, and called someone. The phone rang a couple of moments before someone picked up. "EYO, Freddy! You seen dis nigga befoh? One in the mask? Nigga lookin' like the phantom of the opera at prom! Dis guy our muscle?" After a few lines of conversation, Darnell put his cell phone away, still laughing. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry..." he apologized. "Just ain't no niggas who dress like you, man. Dafuq you supposed to be, man? The ghost of Christmas past?"

"Now, now..." a more polite voice said. Wearing sunglasses, a black dress shirt and pants, yet white suit vest and white tie, out came someone else. In dim sunglasses, with neat blonde hair, a man who appeared to be about twenty two or twenty three years old. "There are plenty of unique people in this world... It doesn't mean that he can't hold his own in a fight." Darnell was still laughing in the background at Kagami's appearance when the guy in the suit walked up to him, and offered his hand to be shaken. "My name is Kento," he said. Then, he nodded at a few other guys around the place.

A slightly skinnier black kid who was probably about eighteen, wearing track pants, beat up sneakers, and a tank top and gold chain. "That's Tyreese," Kento said. A man of about twenty in a red tracksuit with cornrows and studs in his face. "That's Johnny." A man who was about 45 wearing a black leather coat, white jeans, and a black beret. He was Caucasian, with a very grisly face, covered in stubble. "That's Petrov." And finally a man of about thirty, black hair, Asian, quiet in the corner, in a red jumpsuit like Johnny. "That's Hanzo." Introductions done, Kento looked around. He seemed to mostly be in charge.

"For the moment, I'm in charge. Our supervisor for this operation will join us later." He was interrupted by Darnell exclaiming, "DIRTY. SLUTTY. FREDDY." Kento chuckled. "Yes, that's his name. They call him Dirty Slutty Freddy. He'll be meeting us at the mid point of our operation. Our man that can get us into the Senkai Gates has never let us down, but Freddy doesn't want to take any chances with something this important, so he's waiting with our guy." That was how it was looking to be so far, but then Darnell exclaimed. "Eyo! Ain't we down a nigga? Where's the other guy? Foo's late."

"Oh..." Kento noticed. "You mean Asmokon? He had another mission before this. He'll be here in a few minutes, and we can start."

This entire exchange could be seen on Yoko's cameras, which would have picked up the entrants. Kento had been the first to enter the warehouse. He had done it through a back door, meaning that Yoko couldn't snipe him from there. Everyone else had entered through that door, too, one by one. Darnell, Petrov, Hanzo, Johnny, Tyreese, and then the man in the mask. And, according to Kento, one more was supposed to be coming. While they had entered through the back door, the only way for them to load the enormous crate of drugs in the middle of the room out was through the larger front door, which Yoko's rifle was trailed on.

In addition to Yoko's cameras being on her phone, others in the HQ were using thermal vision to look inside, and others had placed bugs in the place to hear conversation. Everyone had binoculars or some kind of a way of looking farther than possible, and one of the computer monitors in the room picked up feed from Yoko's cameras to transmit on. A computer screen next to it ran analysis on each of the people there. In total, including Marcus and Yoko, both from Uzaki Enterprises, there was one more from UE, and two from the Seireitei. The introductions had been done days before the stakeout had even started.

The remaining guy from UE was an American associate of Kazura's named Daryl Cross. This man, roughly thirty six years old, was a very competent agent who at the moment was wearing infiltration gear. Black from head to toe, a bullet proof vest, etc. He just didn't have the helmet on, but he had one. Along with him were two Soul Reapers in Soul Reaper garb, Ken Shiro and Umagi Naga. Ken Shiro was bald, extremely muscular, and had a Zanpakuto on his back. He appeared to be a very seasoned veteran. Umagi was much smaller, with very long black hair, and two Zanpakuto at either side. He also looked very seasoned.

"Is that Kento Sasaki?" Umagi asked when Kento first appeared on camera. "Computer running," Daryl said. After a moment, "Yes, confirmed. Xcution's #1 man, Kento Sasaki." That was ominous. For the number one guy in Xcution to be there was troubling. It meant it was a big operation. Others began filing in. "Cross check all of them," Umagi ordered. He was the one supposedly in charge of the whole operation. Daryl spoke in reply bit by bit as each one entered. They were all recognizable people in the underworld, which indicated that this was really a big operation being pulled off.

"Darnell Higgs. Fullbringer. Up and coming enthusiast of Brothers Grim. Kill count thirty two. Tyreese Jones. Fullbringer. New kid on the block, has yet to make an actual kill. Little brother to a more experienced veteran of Brothers Grim. Johnny. No last name. Nakabakki. Mixed in with a Soul Reaper. Last we checked, kill count stands at a hundred and sixty seven. Petrov Vladik. Bount. Member of several different high profile gangs and cartels in the underworld over the last few decades, but we believe he has been operating as he does for at least two centuries, maybe more. No kill estimate, but he's probably the strongest guy there. Dealing with him will be difficult. Hanzo Zoro. Mod Soul. Kill count of about sixteen. And, Kento mentioned Asmokon. Confirmed Quincy, kill count unknown."

There were a lot of players on this field map. There was a lot going on. They were about to have a hell of an operation. With Yoko trained to snipe, and several other high level Soul Reapers and Fullbringers present, that probably meant that this would be over quickly. Once those guys walked out of that door, Yoko's rifle was going to blast their heads off. At least one would die, and the ensuing chaos would allow the rest of the team to swoop in and take them out. Still, they had vehicles stationed outside the HQ just in case they needed to give chase. Just another day in the office.

The new Major of Xcution was his former ranking in the human organizations that had sought him out and persuaded him to join their rankings on the behalf of the human world. Asmoskon had recently been promoted to the ranking of Major something that very few actually acquired even with nature born talent. Over the last few weeks Asmoskon had been busy doing a multitude of things. The first being the well needed recovery of his body which had gone through abuse from suicide missions and stress inflicted upon him by the dark and twisted visions of his loved ones.

That stress had stopped a few weeks ago however when he and Hotaru had confronted one another again and finally settled things. In truth it had been a horrific battle that left both of them near death yet when it was done Asmoskon finally saw that there was hope in the world. He and Hotaru were once again one and when he was busy being the Major of the military he was once again the protective, caring boyfriend to one of the few female Vice-Captains of Soul Society. That alone had been enough to truly aid him in his recovery and now it seemed like he was once again at the pinnacle of his power.

That was fitting to say the least and he was glad of that fact for he had received orders to protect a special shipment of cargo that was supposedly being smuggled into Soul Society. Asmoskon had no problem with doing such a task as it was his job to do such a thing. He had done far worse during the last couple of months when he had tracked down so many of the Vandenreich Quincy and many others and simply killed them in cold blood. Killing was no longer something that would stay his arrows as it was burned into his soul. So now it just seemed that all those that would try to bring down this shipment would have to deal with Xcutions newest symbol of strength.

Asmoskon moved throughout the town jumping from rooftop to rooftop one after another knowing that he was going to be reaching the area within the next minute or so. In about another thirty seconds he saw the warehouse and made his way to the rooftop. He was clad completely in black nothing of his appearance was visible only the armor of pitch black known as the Anzug Abgleich. When he landed on the rooftop the black cape settled down and moved over the majority of the suit acting like a cloak. Asmoskon had his plasma blades set on his waist along with his special quiver on his back filled with the fifty custom arrows that he felt would be most suitable for this type of assignment.

As the men inside all began to speak to the arrival of Kagami Asmoskon made his way into the warehouse from a side window. His armor was useful in helping him hide his presence and moving with at least some type of stealth even though that wasn’t his best skill. So as he made his way inside Asmokson heard the sound of voices and moved over towards them from above. He wasn’t walking on the ground or anything like that he was focusing the reiatsu of the air to walking across it within the warehouse until he was standing above the group looking down on them.

He was taking notice of all of them that were talking. There was a total of eight of which Asmoskon only recognized a single person. He had been listening the and language that had been being used was a type that Asmoskon hoped would not continue for if it kept up like that he wasn’t sure he would be able to restrain himself from shooting the man through the chest. Most of them seemed to be low in priority as far as Asmoskon deemed for only two of them peaked his interest and would be suitable challenged in his eyes. The first of which was obviously Kento who Asmoskon knew was an agent of Xcution as for what division he was apart of he was unsure.

The only other individual down below was one wearing mainly black attire yet a white mask. He definitely stood out that much was for sure and because of that he acquired Asmoskon’s interest. He was thinking over how this mission would go depending on the fact that Kento and himself were here. However, that calculation couldn’t in truth be done at the moment for Asmoskon was unsure if there was even a one hundred percent guarantee that there would be an attack on the warehouse. If such a thing happened to occur though it seemed there would need to be an impressive strong offensive to take down both Kento and himself along with the man draped in black.

A few moments later and Kento explained that Asmoskon was going to be arriving any minute now and was most likely late due to the mission he had before this. Asmoskon thought over the idea that he might be late which would have been a possibility if it hadn’t been so easy to kill a few dozen Arrancar who just didn’t understand that attacking a small town over and over again was going to get them killed eventually. Such arrogance was one thing that Asmoskon couldn’t understand all of those idiots had known they were outclassed yet believed victory was more then likely simply due to them outnumbering him. Numbers are meaningless only power determines the outcome of who survives.

Right after Kento spoke about him Asmoskon dropped from the ceiling of the warehouse down to one of the crates that had a cover on it. He was right near Kento and a few others that were gathered in the warehouse. He landed in a squatting manner and then stood upwards almost immediately looking over at Kento. “When is Freddy going to be ready to actually get this done Kento?” Asmoskon’s voice was altered by his suit and came off like that of a confident old general. He was standing with his arms crossed over his chest and his cape now behind his back nearly reaching down to the crate itself stopping just above his ankles.

"I'm hurt you forgot to mention I was also in on this operation..."

The voice that spoke in that moment would cause everyone in the room to turn and stare. That voice, which sounded synthetic and modulated, would cause all heads to turn. It might even cause some panic for those that had been on edge. For that voice had come out of nowhere. No one in that room had expected the voice of a ninth person. No one had probably even expected a ninth person to be in on this operation. And yet, the voice that spoke from the shadows of the warehouse could not be denied. All eight men in that room had heard it. Who it belonged to was the question. They would soon find out.

He made his appearance soon after that, stepping out from the shadows in the back corner. When he had gotten there no one knew. How he had been there and none of them knew was anyone's guess. How he had been so silent up until now was also a mystery. Anyway, he made his appearance at that moment, stepping out of the shadows in that corner as if he himself had been apart of them. As if he was made of shadows himself. The black hooded cloak he wore blended in well with the darkness, but the white gloves he wore were in contrast to that darkness. The white mask he wore on his face with the large red 'A' etched into it also stood out beneath the darkness of that figure's hooded cloak. He stepped out then for all to get a glimpse of him.

"Ah, forgive me for lack of a proper introduction," he said after stepping out. "The name's Anarchy. I'll be another one of your escorts on this pleasant evening." he added while bowing. Anyone who was anyone in the underground world of the Black Market would recognize his name. It was a name that struck fear in many of the mercenaries familiar with this shady world. There were many rumors that surrounded the name, yet none had ever been face to face with the one who called himself by such a name. Anarchy was an enigma. A shadow. An anomaly amongst the mercenary. He was called in when no one else could get the job done, but no one had ever actually seen him in person. In terms of reliability as a mercenary, many rumored him to have taken the place of the Phantom Reaper. Those that had once employed that skilled assassin were now employing Anarchy.

This time, however, he wasn't being assigned to kill. This time, his mercenary skills were being used for something else. He had been hired for a different purpose than he was used to. Kazura Uzaki had promised to pay him well for his services. The two of them had come to an agreement to do business together, after all. Kazura trusted his employees to get the job done, but he also wanted someone on the inside, who knew the layout of this underground world. Thus, he had employed the likes of his business partner, Jin Yamada, to pose as the mercenary Anarchy and infiltrate the operation. The two employees he sent would have no details of the identity of the inside man, only that Kazura had another operative helping on the operation. And from there, it didn’t take long to get the Brothers Grimm to hire him. His strength had been needed on this operation tonight. He would act as their body guard of sorts. He would be another one of their 'muscle'. He was called in by them to make sure that everything went smoothly, with a large sum of money as his reward if things went right, of course. And so, he had accepted both missions in that way. And that was how he was here now, in this dark warehouse, with eight other men.

Anarchy stood up from his bow and his head turned in the direction of the armored Quincy. "Asmoskon....I didn't expect to be seeing you so soon..." the modulated voice said again, this time addressing the Quincy that had just appeared in the room. Asmoskon would remember him well. Very well. This was the man that had almost killed him that night. That night, when the young Quincy should have died. Yet here he was, alive and having recovered from their bout. Underneath the mask, the Bount smiled. Underneath the mask, Anarchy smiled because he knew that Asmoskon would remember him well. He couldn't have forgotten him so quickly, could he? The Bount, having addressed his former prey, turned his head and gazed out from behind the mask at all eight men standing before him. It would be a fun night. Anarchy, no Jin Yamada, the man beneath the mask, was sure of it.

Unlike its predecessor, however, its color is black with a red button on both disks. When these buttons are pressed, the yoyo enlarges to become two giant two feet wide, one inch tall black circular disks. It looks nothing like the yoyo it once was. With a twitch of the string, blades can also pop out along the two thick disks. Item Description: After studying the Quincy ability to draw in spiritual particles, Gatz was able to design this cloak for Anarchy. The cloak itself reaches down past the knees and is completely black with a hood attached to the back. What makes it special is the property it has. When around someone of a different race, the cloak will draw in the ambient reiatsu of the individual giving off any form of reiatsu and cloak the user in this reiatsu so that the reiatsu signature given off by the user becomes that of the individual giving off reiatsu. If no reiatsu is being given off, the cloak can instead use the stored reiatsu from a previous encounter. While the cloak is active, the user should suppress their own reiatsu or the cloak will not function properly. When it comes to using techniques, only general reiatsu techniques can be used; the reiatsu of a race specific release will overpower the cloak's own reiatsu signature. Only those with an energy sensory of more than 200 can detect the actual reiatsu signature of the user.

Item Description: A featureless white mask with only eye holes for the user to see through. The mask itself is made of a durable titanium alloy which is quite strong while remaining light-weight. When exposed to high levels of heat, the titanium alloy retains its strength and does not deteriorate. The only other feature on the mask is a large red 'A' within a red circle. This covers the majority of the mask, centering at the forehead. The bottom part of the 'A' is broken up by the eyeholes and continues underneath them, where it joins the red circle outlining the entire letter. The mask itself allows the user, with a touch of a button along the side to switch between normal vision, infrared vision, night vision, and zoom vision for viewing in greater detail. The mask is also equipped with a voice modifier to change the user's voice and a filter for gases.

Item Name: Wire Launcher Gauntlet

Item Description: The wire launcher gauntlet is a piece of equipment for Jin Yamada. It is a metal silver plated arm brace with the Bount symbol etched onto the side facing away from it's wearer when worn. On the side facing towards the wearer, there is a small circular hole, half an inch in diameter, near the wrist area. A brown leather attachment extends from the wrist up to the wearer's middle and ring fingers, wrapping around them. Inside of the gauntlet, 150 feet of steel wire is spooled 75 times around a thin circular disk on the underside. Release of the wire revolves around a complicated launching mechanism activated by varying movements of Jin's middle and ring fingers. The wire ends in a barbed hook, which is designed to connect to the loop on the end of Jin's yoyo. The launcher fires things with 300 strength.

Item Name: Propulsion Boots

Item Type: Locomotion Item/Weapon

Item Description: These boots were modeled after the gloves Jin once had during the time when C-weapons were around. The boots, however, are much more upgraded and cooler looking than the gloves were. Overall, they look like light armor for his feet. They're black and shiny all over and tall, reaching just below the knee. They're made of some kind of light metal that avoids overheating. There are straps at the top in the front and back to lock the leg in once it's in there snugly. At the sole, there are vents built into five separate locations. There are vents in the front ball of the boot, on both sides, in the back of the heel, and in the center of the foot. Gatz designed the boots in a way so that it absorbs heat from Hitze or the surroundings and uses that to power itself, which prevents any type of reliance on electrical battery power.

The cool thing about the boots is that with a tap of his foot in a certain spot, Jin can release the heat building up in the boots from one of the five vents as bursts of flames which are backed up by his reiatsu strength. The concentrated bursts of flames that the boot releases propels him at twice his speed as a result of concentration and force. When he's using the flames for attack rather than propulsion, the flames shoot out of all five vents to form a burst of flames the size of a Cero! Normally when moving around, the flames only shoot out of the middle vent, which is largest, while the vents on the four sides only allow for change in direction.

"There's another one," Ken said. "Holy shit..." Daryl replied. "That's Anarchy." A moment of shock passed by, and also this is text to separate the dialogue. "Anarchy?" Umagi asked. "A very high profile black market dealer. Drugs, powerful items, you name it. He's usually just a gun for hire, and today it just so happens that Brothers Grim paid him the most. If he's here, we're going to need some backup. We've deduced that he's at least as strong as a Seireitei Captain, maybe stronger." That made things very complicated. There was already one player in that warehouse with that kind of strength--Xcution's number one man: Kento Sasaki. For there now to be two like that made this a lot harder.

"Freddy gave us permission to begin when all members had assembled," Kento said with a smile to Asmokon. "And I do apologize," he said as well, turning to Anarchy. "I wasn't informed that you would be joining us. If you're here, I'm confident that failing this mission won't be a likely scenario." For Kagami, who was also standing there, Kento's manner might remind him of someone he had met before. Well, plot twist. Kento had been trained since he was fifteen by Sozen Kuchiki, who had been in and out of the human world, and trained Kento whenever he came to visit. Now in his twenties, Kento had adapted many of his mentor's social traits.

"Yoko, get ready," Umagi ordered, referring to her rifle. Probably bad for a Soul Reaper to be ordering around an agent of Uzaki Enterprises, but technically, Umagi was the squadron's agreed on head. These terms had been accepted by UE too. They were all professionals. Acting professionally as a unit was their advantage over that more beat gang of criminals over there who probably didn't have any real semblance of teamwork. "Marcus, I want you as her back up. Ken, flank them. Daryl, coordinate. I'm going to prepare my power for when they get out of there..." They all had a role in this. And somewhere in there, Daryl also signaled for back-up of some kind.

"Eyyyy yo yo yo yo yo!" Darnell exclaimed. "What in holy Jesus fuck is this? Kento, man, what the fuck?" Darnell motioned to Kagami. "It's one thing to have OG Lush over here moppin' up the vibes n making us all Mr. Ratburn, but dafuq with these other guys, man?" Darnell motioned to Asmokon and to Jin. "Now we gotta have the fuckin' blue n red M&M's joining us too? Nigga, this Halloween shit gettin' kind of old. Is everyone from Xcution or whatevs fuckin' like this? I can't even pronounce they damn names. Ass moh what? Ass-Moh? AH-NNAR what? Sounds an awful lot like some anal fufu to me, Jimmee Holmes." Yup. Oakland is a shit hole.

"Their assistance is invaluable," Kento explained calmly. "Asmokon is a wonderful shot, and you'll be glad to have him on your side if they try to stop our operation. Anarchy is extremely powerful, and I wouldn't doubt that he can take on an entire opposing squadron by himself." Kento walked over to some of the supposed covered crates, and whipped off the covers. Surprise! They weren't crates. They were cars. Nice, black sedans. Sleek. Beautiful. Shiny. "The contents are in the cars," Kento said. "Three cars. Only one has the stuff. The other two are diversions, of course."

Kento motioned to Darnell and Kagami. "You two will ride together with me. The second car will be Tyreese, Asmokon, and Johnny. The final car will be Petrov and Hanzo with Anarchy." He didn't really ask if they could all accept that. Fact of the matter was that Kento was the one calling the shots right now, until Dirty Slutty Freddy made his presence known. "EYOOOO! OG LUSH IS WITH ME! HEYOOO!" Darnell patted him on the back as they got into the cars. So, all that was left to do was start the operation. Everyone loaded into the cars. Kento was one driver, Hanzo was another driver, and Tyreese was the last driver. The large front door, or garage I should say, opened up to the warehouse, and the cars all began to move out.

"If you have a shot on any and I repeat ANY of them, take it now!" Umagi ordered to Yoko. "I repeat, if you have a shot on any of them, take it. NOW!"

As soon as the garage opened, both teams recognized that the other existed and was in range.

Kagami’s energy sensory was far sharper than the average soul’s, so he had a general idea of what would be waiting for him when he entered the warehouse. Six other men spun around to meet his gaze. There was a tense moment of silence as the normally dressed people examined the appearance of their new, masked ally. Kagami’s gaze brushed over each of them briefly, for he didn’t have much time to do anything else, for that moment of silence was quickly broken by an unrestrained laugh coming from one of the members within the warehouse.

Kagami met the man’s taunts and jokes head on. For a while, his face was blank behind his white mask as the dark-skinned man continued to make wisecracks. However, an unsuppressed grin crawled onto his features, stretching from ear to ear. The mask would hide his amusement, so Kagami felt no need to fight the grin. After all, a lot of the jokes were pretty witty. He was the first member of the little criminal squad Kagami was going to be a part of for at least the evening to make any noise, and it was nice to see that at least one of them had character.This Darnell guy is funny… I hope I get the chance to kill him.

And then a familiar face stepped forward. This man’s eyes were calm and focussed, and he seemed to quiet Darnell with an air of unmistakable confidence. Kagami gave off that same charismatic vibe, but it was always different to see it in effect from someone else. Especially someone with such a notorious reputation. It was Xcution’s number one man.Well, well. I knew Xcution was getting involved, but to think that they threw Kento Sasaki into the mix. This going to be a fun night.

But Kagami’s energy sensory picked up other nearby presences. One sat quietly up in the network of metal rods and pipes at the warehouse’s ceiling. Kagami wasn’t exactly sure who this man was, but he didn’t have the skill in reiatsu suppression or stealth to hide from the Vice Captain. His reiatsu had the unmistakable qualities of a Quincy. Were they working with the Vandenreich as well? No, that group would never get involved in such an affair. Kagami wouldn’t look up, for that’d give the man away too soon. Instead, he’d watch as Kento introduced all the members except for the dark-skinned man who spoke out first. Names didn’t matter, though. Kagami sure as hell wasn’t going to share his.

But what really interested Kagami was their supposed leader for the night. Dirt Slutty Freddy. Maybe names didn’t matter, but he chose a peculiar one to go by. Kagami could only hope that he was strong enough to command the group. After all, if the Vice Captain saw any chance to turn on them and benefit himself, he sure as hell would go for it. He was a selfish guy, but that’s what this business was about. And just when he thought he couldn’t care less about the members who were supposed to come by that night, a certain name came up.

Asmokon… Is that really him? Kagami had heard that name before just a few months ago, when he was still recovering in the hospital. He was half-asleep when it left Hotaru Kuchiki’s lips as she slept, and something about the intimacy and delicacy with which she formed the name told Kagami that he was the man she was in love with. Kagami had no clue if they amended their relationship yet, but he knew that Asmokon was important to Hotaru. Kagami had a sliver of honor left, and he knew that he owed Hotaru an unplayable debt for saving his life. Maybe he could start making it up to her by watching out for this Asmokon guy. He’d be a burden, but Kagami knew that he couldn’t face Hotaru again if Asmokon died when he could have saved him.

But wait, that wasn’t the only presence Kagami felt. There was a reiatsu signature coming from a dark corner in the warehouse, and Kagami turned his body to meet the person just a second before the stranger made his presence known. "I'm hurt you forgot to mention I was also in on this operation..." This man was masked like Kagami, but that wasn’t what was intimidating. The way he spoke to Kento Sasaki like Xcution’s strongest was just another man to him. He could be stronger than Sasaki. Anarchy… Kagami recognized him as a Bount from the feel of his reiatsu, but that wasn’t the only surprise that the man had up his sleeve. He knew Asmokon. From the way he spoke to the Quincy, Kagami was certain that they had, in fact, had a certain intimate meeting. And suddenly, it clicked for him. The symbol on the mask coupled with his name revived memories from Soul Society’s most-wanted list. Anarchy was definitely towards the top of that list. He was some sort of assassin and mercenary capable of going toe-to-teo with Seireitei’s strongest. How was Asmokon connected to such a powerful, underground figure? Anarchy, you’re dangerous. I’ll have to keep my eye on you.

But Anarchy wasn’t the only danger. Kagami had been aware of a reiatsu presence in the building nearby. There were at least a couple of spiritually powerful people that had been in that office building for quite some time. Possibly an opposing force? Was an ambush eminent? All signs pointed toward a ‘yes’ for both those question, and Kagami knew he would have to be careful. His initial plan was to let the rest of the part exit first and take any hits from a hostile party. However, Kento had already assigned groups to travel in cars that were hidden under covers in the factory. Kagami was to accompany Kento and Darnell. His car was definitely the ‘fun’ car, but he had one qualm: if Kento was with him, he was definitely a target. The Vice Captain would have to be cautious.

As each individual headed to his assigned car, Kagami approached Asmokon’s back, slowly but firmly grabbing the man’s arm from behind to stop him just for a second. Kagami’s action wasn’t hostile. In fact, they were sefless. He was risking his anonymity by taking such a defining characteristic action. No one would other than the Quincy would hear Kagami faintly whisper, “Be careful.” However, everyone would know at least a word was spoken between them. But that was no matter. As long as Asmokon was safe at the end of the day, Kagami had repaid his debt to Hotaru. Without giving Asmokon a chance to respond, he left to his designated car, where Darnell was waiting to slap 'OG Lush' on the back.

The Vice Captain slid into the backseat of the car with Kento at the driver’s seat and Darnell right beside him. Good. If anyone’s going to get sniped tonight, it’ll be one of them. But, just to make sure I don’t have to take a bullet for one of them… The mask man sat behind Darnell. After all, if any of them were to be targeted, it would be Kento. Killing the Xcution figure wouldn’t be easy, but Kagami didn’t want to take a stray bullet. He was safer behind Darnell. Was this his only defense? Oh, oh Hell no. After all, they say that the best defense is offense. And just to make sure he was prepared for when conflict broke out – which was inevitable – the Vice Captain as already filling the car with a gas emitted from his skin. Only those with an energy sensory of 200 could see the gas, so the odds were that Darnell and Kento would be oblivious to the otherwise undetectable technique. But it wouldn’t matter if they knew about the technique or not if they didn’t make it out of the block alive.

Marcus sat alone by the window. He hadn’t bothered to even introduce himself to the Soul Society representatives. After all, they both looked so strong and serious, just like Yoko. Marcus really didn’t want to put the mental strain of striking up a conversation with them on himself. He hadn’t even said hello to the other Uzaki Enterprise member, Daryl Cross, who seemed familiar, though Marcus hadn’t learned his name until that night. The other four members of the stake out team watched the screens as each member, one by one, walked into the warehouse. Marcus felt like an idiot watching the warehouse through his binoculars, but he didn’t realize Yoko was going to bring her surveillance gear. He was more used to observing from the shadows, anyway. It was just a matter of time before he’d get a chance to leave the office and finally do something he was good at.

However, Marcus had to join them by the screens when they identified each and every member of the criminal party. He needed to know whom he was dealing with, so he peered over Yoko’s shoulder to get a good look at their faces. Most were people he had never even heard of, but there was one name he had heard several times. Kento Sasaki was not someone to take easily, and Marcus couldn’t help but clench his fists at the thought of having to take on a major Xcution figure head one. Was he scared? No, not even remotely. He wasn’t scared to die for Kazura. He was just upset that he would have to go all out and then some if he wanted to bring Kazura Kento Sasaki’s head.

It is undoubtable that the second the man by the name of Dirty Slutty Freddy arrived, the stakeout team would have to prepare to meet Grimm Brothers’ squad. Marcus was ready to be dispatched at a second’s notice, and all he needed was the order from Yoko. He was capable of acting on his own, but she had the heavy guns. If they could time their attacks right – her sniping and his close-quarter engagement. With some help from the Shinigami and Daryl Cross, they just might get rid of that mysterious shipment and kill some big, infamous figures. Marcus got excited just thinking about how happy Kazura would be with him.

Finally, it was time for them to take action. Marcus was paired as Yoko’s support, a role he was happy with. She was going to be essential for the mission, and with all those guns, Marcus knew that he would have to take on the role of protecting her if anyone targeted her. Her job was to take out as many criminals as possible from a distance, and Marcus’s job was to protect her. It was ironic how the Chief of Security for Uzaki Enterprises needed a bodyguard.

What was Marcus’s plan? He was primarily a close-ranged shadow. He was great with sneak attacks and one-on-one fighting. If the going got tough, he was going to help with their escape and protection. His release was perfect for hiding and concealing people. It would block out senses, letting Marcus soar to the rescue of his allies and make a rapid retreat possible while the rest of the enemies were still blinded.

But hopefully it wouldn’t have to come to that. Right now, Marcus had to be thinking about how to eliminate the escorts and seize their packages, not how to retreat. It was time to fight. He loaded the kunai canon built into his battle suit with four kunai. With each touch, he placed a different Ninja Art technique into two of the four kunai. One had Flash and the other had Jet. The kunai would only be necessary if Marcus had to make any ranged attacks. Otherwise, his focus would be fist-to-fist fighting.

And then Umagi gave the order to Yoko. It was time. The Fullbringer placed the visor of his battle suit over his eyes, concealing those ice-blue gems he gazed through. His escrima sticks were firmly strapped to his waist and the remainder of his kunai were also ready to be retrieved from his hip. All that was left for Yoko was picking a target, pulling the trigger, and initiating the bloodshed. People were going to die that night, and Marcus knew for certain that he wouldn’t let any harm come to an Uzaki Enterprise affiliate. His fist is their shield.

From the first moment that one of them had appeared on camera, Yoko had been looking for the answer to one important question: Who gets the first bullet? With her reiatsu suppressed, and her body and rifle both hidden beneath a shroud, she was effectively unnoticeable to most. Not just most humans either, she was unnoticeable even to most of the spiritual folks in attendance. Of course, those with the right skills, or stats, could spot her. She wasn’t trained in stealth, but she knew what she would look for if she were in their shoes. The Chief hadn’t earned her place at Kazura’s side without a good deal of talent in those matters. Without a doubt, she was one of the best in the world at finding those who didn’t want to be found, and that meant she could imitate the best of them with enough time to prepare.

Everything had been made easier because all the prep time as well. She’d already scoped out their warehouse, and that meant the cars didn’t come as much of a surprise to her. The smell of petrol and rubber wasn’t easy to hide. Besides, whatever they were transporting, unless it was just going to next door, it was going to need a way to get there. Unless they planned on having a person carry it, they needed vehicles of some sort. Helicopters were too conspicuous, so cars were the obvious choice. That one detail gave away so very, very much. Once the Chief had figured she was expecting cars, she’d eyeballed the size of the front door. It was the only place big enough for a car to get out, and it was wide enough to fit three fairly comfortably at the same time.

Before it had come to that moment, she’d run through it hundreds of times in her head. She had pictured three cars, probably something generic looking to not attract attention, lined up in front of the door. As soon as the door opened, she’d open fire. Double tap the driver, and then one for the passenger. Her sniper, sadly, had only three shots available to it without a reload. Nothing stopped her from reloading, but she’d have to completely adjust her aim by the time that was completed. So, realistically, she had enough firepower to take down two targets before the got too far. The swing in aim between a driver and passenger, at this range, was minimal enough to be done in a fraction of a second.

What was most important in this plan was picking the targets. There were several important considerations. First and foremost, would the first hit be lethal? If it wouldn’t be, the second shot had to be guaranteed fatal damage. If neither shot in the double tap was guaranteed to kill the target, then firing was effectively worthless. The entire purpose of the opening shot was to lower their numbers. Next on the list: could a single bullet kill a passenger in that car? If she could kill a driver, but not a passenger, then it wouldn’t have the maximum possible impact for an opening attack. If she wanted the best bang for her buck, she needed to be sure she could kill both a driver and a passenger before either even realized what happened.

After that, the biggest criteria was the power ranking. Obviously, it was best to kill the strongest people possible with this attack. That meant she had to factor in the strength of each driver, and all of their passengers. Based on the group that had showed up, the most dangerous three were Anarchy, Kento, and Petrov. From the kill counts she’d been given, it was safe to assume that they were all fairly dangerous, but those three seemed to be in a league of their own. However, out of those three, only one was human. That was her target, because humans tended to actually die to a bullet wound. Yoko hadn’t fought a Bount herself, but if the were anything like the other spiritual races, they probably had something that made a normal gun ineffective against them.

That was what she had planned, and that was what she executed. She didn’t need to wait for an order to fire. They had discussed various plans and tactics ad naseum. All that was needed at that moment was for her to line up a shot, and pull the trigger. Even before the door had started opening, she’d been getting an approximate line of sight. She had seen it all unfold on her phone’s screen, so she knew exactly where the cars were. The time it took for everyone to get inside the cars was enough for her to adjust her aim to the general vicinity of Kento’s position. Final adjustments were made as the door slid up.

It helped that it was a really large, mechanical door. The single door was wide enough to let all three cars out at the same time, so it was insanely heavy. Even with the powerful motor pulling it open, it still moved rather slowly. That meant she had enough time to fine-tune her aim before she was visible. Barring some sort of weird seating configuration, it was easy enough to see where the driver would be based on seeing the lower part of the car. Once she had gotten the horizontal axis right, she adjusted upwards ever so slightly to get the sight right where Kento’s head would be. At this distance, right across the street, but up eight floors, it was a minute adjustment.

As soon as he was about to be revealed, the Chief fired. She didn’t wait for his head, the actual target, to be visible. All she had seen was his chest and neck at the moment that she pulled the trigger, but adjusting for where his head was didn’t take much effort. It’s not like Kento was made of silly putty or anything. That first shot raced off at a blistering speed of 12,500, which probably exceeded the speed of even anyone’s step technique. It was timed so that the bullet slid underneath the bottom edge of the garage door by only a tiny margin, and went straight into the windshield of Kento’s sedan. Thankfully, it wasn’t bulletproof.

The first shot shattered the windshield and sent razor sharp shards of glass towards everyone inside the car. But wait, a bullet wasn’t normally that strong was it? No, it wasn’t, but Yoko had used her explosive rounds. These blew up on contact. The first round had hit the windshield and exploded right there. That meant it wasn’t just glass flying into Kento Sasaki’s face. No, there was shrapnel and heat as well. That first shot wasn’t fatal, but it would still suck. Razor sharp shards of glass and shrapnel were flying right at the man’s face. Trained warrior or not, the human reaction was to at least blink, and probably flinch considerably.

If Kento blinked, those shards of glass were the last thing he’d ever have seen. A second bullet followed the first a tiny fraction of a second later. Yoko had pulled the trigger as fast as her 450 speed let her. With her strength, there was absolutely no recoil to ruin her aim. The kick of a sniper rifle was notable, but she was strong enough that she’d have to be hip-firing an artillery piece before it ruined her accuracy. In this case, neutralizing the recoil was just a matter of brute force. And that second bullet, right on target, that was the real threat. If Kento didn’t have a way to stop the projectile’s 600 penetrative power, he was dead. If nothing was done, the round would penetrate his skull and detonate, turning his brain into a slushie. Death would be instantaneous.

Honestly, the plan had a fairly high chance to succeed. Humans, unlike many other races, lacked any kind of skin defense. Their bodies also tended to actually die from things like this attack. What made is so likely to succeed was just the raw speed of the attack though. With a speed of 12,500, the bullet was just over 83 times faster than Kento was. Hell, it was over 8 times faster than his top speed in Bringer Light. At that insane of a speed, he’d need to use Bringer Flash to even stand a chance at blinking his eyes before the shots reached him. The reaction time required to avoid something like that would be a feat of legends, and the speed required to dodge it would be a second legend.

Was Kento Sasaki as legendary as the rumors claimed?

Even if he was that good, Darnell probably wasn’t. The third shot, though it did take a quick second to set up, went straight for the gangster’s chest. It was the same type of round that had probably done in Kento, but the haste in aiming the shot with Yoko’s imperfect talent meant a body shot was the best bet. There was a chance he’d survive, but if he got hit, he’d have a hole in his chest that’d make a hollow’s look cute. The explosive rounds she had used could put a three inch hole in concrete, so they weren’t exactly kind to the human body. In the end, all three shots were fired off in only a second or two. Both of them had virtually no time to react, and they were trapped in place by their car. That was the worst part for them. If the weren’t in a vehicle, they might’ve had a chance at dodging, but the car just made them sitting ducks.

WITH A THUNDERING CRACK, THE OPERATION BEGINS. HOWEVER, THE GANGSTERS HAVE NOT COME UNPREPARED. KENTO SASAKI IS THE #1 MAN OF XCUTION, WITH UNIMAGINABLY HIGH SENSES FOR ANY HUMAN. SOME MIGHT DESCRIBE IT AS NEARLY GODLIKE SENSES. A MAN WHO CAN HEAR MUTED FOOTSTEPS IN THE RAIN. A MAN WHO CAN DETECT ALL INDIVIDUAL HEARTBEATS WITHIN A CERTAIN AREA, INCLUDING YOKO'S. LISTENING TO THE HEARTBEATS OF OTHERS IN WHAT SHOULD BE A DESERTED AREA, KENTO KNOWS IN ADVANCE THAT AN ATTACK IS COMING. LISTENING TO THEIR HEARTBEATS, HE CAN HEAR YOKO'S FLUTTER JUST SLIGHTLY AT THE MOMENT WHEN HER BREATH IS HELD TO PREPARE FOR A SHOT. HE CAN HEAR HER FINGER TOUCHING ON THE TRIGGER, AND THE BEGINNING OF A CLICK AS THE GUN BEGINS TO MOVE. KNOWING THIS, KENTO TAKES ACTION.

"Sniper," Kento said as he kicked open the door and rolled out of the car, even before Yoko have finished pulling the trigger. The first shot rang out, Kento's timing having been perfect enough to evade it. It would go straight through the window, shattering the glass, and straight through the seat that Kento had occupied only a moment before, missing Xcution's #1 man, who, taking that time, had rolled behind the car, taking a hidden position so that he had cover, before any aim could be adjusted. The second shot, therefore, would also miss Kento, who had taken cover, and could not be hit.

"HOLY FUCKING SHIT," Darnell exclaimed as an impressive aura blew up around him. It was a large white aura of reiatsu, and it completely repelled all of the glass debris, the blast of the bullet, and the bullet itself. Martial Discipline: Ken. A mighty technique that had become more and more common in the human world as time had passed. Many high level organizations had begun to reject applicants for lacking the technique. If Darnell knew this technique, it had to be assumed that he wasn't a nobody. He was strong. Being able to repel Yoko's shot, Darnell rolled out of the car, a smirk coming up onto his face.

"GO GO GO!" he exclaimed to the other two cars with a grin, pulling the hand gun out from under his holster. He didn't need to tell them, though. The other two cars had sped off as soon as Yoko's shots had taken place. This left Kento, Darnell, and the ghostly and disguised figure of Kagami behind. Kento had cover, but he knew the location of Yoko and the HQ now. And so did Darnell after seeing those shots. Darnell had Ken active, effectively neutralizing many guns, but Kento didn't seem to possess or want to use the technique. The car teetered a ways, and a whooshing sound could be heard.

Darnell, handgun out, motioned to Kagami. "EYO! OG LUSH! GRAB THE ARTILLERY FROM THE TRUNK!" If Kagami did this, he'd find that there was an RPG in the trunk, and that he could aim it at the HQ and take shots. Yoko, Marcus, and Daryl were the only ones left in the building. Ken and Umagi had already disappeared. Ken had left to flank them, and was presumably in hiding somewhere, waiting to take on Darnell, Kagami, and Kento when the chance arose. Umagi, upon saying that he would use his power, had disappeared, transfiguring into black smoke. While Kagami and Darnell were doing what they were doing, the building that had been the HQ suddenly shook.

Behind it, Kento had appeared. How he had gotten there wasn't known at this time, but he was there, and he was wearing some kind of gloves. He had punched both hands against the back of the building, which no one was guarding, and after two seconds, the building felt huge impacts that began to crack it and dismantle it, and suddenly shattered everywhere from cracks and began to collapse. Marcus, Yoko, and Daryl were in danger of the building killing them as it collapsed completely on them. Daryl was the first to get out, using Bringer Light to appear in front of Darnell, pulling out a metal chain necklace.

A burst of green light transfigured Daryl's necklace into a crossbow with a trigger, and he took aim at Darnell, who rolled aside as the crossbow fired at where Darnell had stood only a second before. As the arrow with a jade green tip struck the car that had been behind Darnell, it embedded in, and nothing further happened. Maybe that was all it did. Maybe it wasn't. Darnell took aim at Daryl with his hand gun, but Darnell took cover behind a nearby metal barrel, so that Darnell's shot hit the barrel and bounced off. Yoko and Marcus now had to decide where they were going to go, and who they were going to help.

Meanwhile, Jin would be in one of the cars that had taken off. They made it only two minutes before the car suddenly exploded. The explosion had been from Umagi, who had turned into black smoke and clogged up the interior until it exploded. Petrov, a Bount, had simply slunk into darkness the split second he saw fire begin to appear, making him immune to all of the incoming fire damage. Hanzo was not fortunate, and was killed immediately by the explosion. What happened to Jin remained to be seen, though, as a Bount, it was likely that he could just do as Petrov did.

Upon surviving the blast, if he did, they would see Umagi reforming from the black smoke that he had been before, this time holding a sword. That was some kind of advanced step technique he was using, or some kind of new Kido spell. It was making him a lot more dangerous just by virtue of the fact that he could dissipate the way many Bount could. Therefore, the battle that would ensue was about to be very difficult. But, they were all in luck. The car with the drugs and the other object was the one that had made it speeding away. Umagi's best interest was to defeat Jin and Petrov quickly and move on.

Meanwhile, as the car Asmokon was in continued forward, the explosion of the other one in the background, Tyreese's eyes went wide as he saw what he was presented with: A huge police intersection in front of them. Someone had connections, and had created a blockade of over twenty police cars, and presumably twice that many officers behind the doors, with handguns. They had cover, and were ready to fire on the car. Tyreese grinded to a stop, and the police made a demand of the car Asmokon was in. OAKLAND POLICE DEPARTMENT. STOP NOW. GET OUT OF THE CAR WITH YOUR HANDS UP. Attack, flee, or something else?
