Bakudō
Bakudō, the Path of Binding, encompasses a list of spells that are used exclusively for strategic advancement in combat. The majority of these spells are used to trap and bind opponents, but some have been seen to be used for escape or as defensive methods. Bakudō are typically used to hinder the opponent, are when used in conjunction with Hadō, are seen to create fearsome combinations.
Canon spells, meaning those actually portrayed in Bleach, are shown in white text. Customs, those which are site-exclusive and usually are made by members, are in ice blue. Custom Incantations, which are created by forum members, are in purple. These are temporary until the canon themselves gives the unknown incantations for spells.
{Class 7 (Bakudō 1-15)}
Technique Name: Bakudō #1: Sai (Restrain)
Technique Class: 7 - 10 TTP
Technique Type: Kidō - Bakudō.
Usable By: Kidō-users.
Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: 25 Reiatsu.
Description: Causes the target's arms to lock in place behind their back.
How to Use: Physical contact is required from the hand of the caster to any part of the body of the target.
Incantation: Incantation increases the strength behind the technique by 10%. (I.E. A reiatsu strength of 100 would instead be valued at 110 for this technique.) ("Man, shaped by Divine hands, revert to the form before limbs, clutch at your own throat and be afraid!")
Drawbacks: Reiatsu cost.

Technique Name: Bakudō #3: Sazanami (Ripple)
Technique Class: 7 - 10 TTP
Technique Type: Kidō - Bakudō.
Usable By: Kidō-users.
Technique Element: Spirit.
Technique Cost: 25 Reiatsu.
Description: Sazanami is a particularly simplistic and straightforward Bakudō that at first seems to have no actual ability about it. When activated, this Bakudō sends a pulse of Reiatsu out in a spherical ripple from the user’s palm. This Reiatsu has no actual effect on anything, traveling until it reaches another object with some form of spiritual energy. Once it has done so, it bounces in the direction of its origin, giving an idea of the direction of any nearby active spiritual objects. This excludes environmental objects such as buildings within Soul Society, which do not possess an active spiritual energy. Such objects simply cause the rippling Reiatsu to stop without rebounding. When mastered, this technique can also be sent through objects, such as the ground or a building, rather than stopping upon impacting them. Additionally, mastery allows a constant ripple effect for the duration of a single post, regardless of incantation, that originates from its casting point. The range of this technique varies by the Reiatsu Strength of the user; for every 50 Reiatsu Strength the user has, this technique has a range of one hundred feet in radius. The ripples themselves travel at an astounding 4000 Speed. Due to its incredible speed and the thinned-out nature of the Reiatsu, the technique is undetectable to any but the user unless one actively knows that it is there.
How to Use: The technique’s user simply raises their hand and releases a pulse of Reiatsu. The incantation can be spoken before or after to release it.
Incantation: When the incantation is used, the Bakudo creates a continuous ripple effect for three posts using its initial casting point as an origin. The user can intercept reverberations from the technique even if they have moved, giving a continuous feed of the directions of active spiritual energy. (“Throw the pebble in the pond; ripple across the still waters, trace the boundaries, return.”)
Drawbacks: Despite its speed, this technique’s effects are minimal. The pulse of Reiatsu is useful for tracking a target’s position or revealing cloaked targets, but unless the incantation is used, the cost of repeated use adds up.

Technique Name: Bakudō #4: Hainawa (Crawling Rope)
Technique Class: 7 - 10 TTP
Technique Type: Kidō - Bakudō.
Usable By: Kidō-users.
Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: 25 Reiatsu.
Description: A rope fashioned from the caster's Reishi is launched from their hand at the opponent. Upon impact, this then entangles the opponent and ties them up.
How to Use: This technique requires aiming with the hand, not unlike any basic Hado spell.
Incantation: Incantation causes the robe to elongate and gag even more of the target's body when used, and also ups the Kido strength by 10%. (I.E. A reiatsu strength of 100 would be counted as 110 instead.) Incantation unknown.
Drawbacks: Reiatsu cost.

Technique Name: Bakudō #5: Kaze Utsuwa (Wind Container)
Technique Class: 7 - 10 TTP
Technique Type: Kidō - Bakudō.
Usable By: Kidō-users.
Technique Element: Air.
Technique Cost: 25 Reiatsu.
Description: Kaze Utsuwa is a Bakudo that doesn't bind an opponent, but rather binds air within one's self. By taking a deep breath inwards and paying the reiatsu cost, a sphere of air is locked into the user's lungs, slowly releasing the necessary oxygen in order to breathe. This can allow the user to survive without oxygen, whether it be submerged in water or held in a head lock or whatever else that would restrict air flow, for five posts of combat at a time. Five extra posts of non-combat can be used up when learned, ten extra posts of non-combat when mastered. When only learned, the lack of the lungs inflating and deflating is shocking enough that the user must concentrate on the Kidō lest it dissipate. When it is mastered, the concentration is no longer necessary as the user is completely used to receiving oxygen in this manner. In order to refresh the technique, the user needs to breathe in again, so if they are still in an oxygen-free environment, then this technique will not be able to be activated in order to save them.
How to Use: User is required to breathe deeply inward before entering an oxygen-free environment.
Incantation: Doubles duration. ("O' Sea God, allow me to explore your vast oceans and coexist with the life bestowed upon it!")
Drawbacks: Reiatsu cost. Cannot be used in oxygen-free environments. Must be used before entry.

Technique Name: Bakudō #8: Seki (Repulse)
Technique Class: 7 - 10 TTP
Technique Type: Kidō - Bakudō.
Usable By: Kidō-users.
Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: 25 Reiatsu.
Description: Creates a small round shield of typically orange reiatsu along the user's wrist, not unlike that of a buckler. Typically useless against Kido, this shield repulses low level physical strikes, and sends electricity back into the attacker to result in low level paralysis and temporary numbness.
How to Use: Can be instantaneously cast, but is very brittle and weak without incantation and name being spoken. Lasts only mere seconds upon creation, and paralysis does not work on those with superior spiritual strength.
Incantation: Incantation allows shields to last up to twenty seconds at any one time, and increases its strength by 10%. (I.E. A reiatsu strength valued at 100 would instead be worth 110.) "Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini! Look upon yourself with horror and then seize your own throat!"
Drawbacks: Reiatsu cost.

Technique Name: Bakudō #9: Geki (Strike)
Technique Class: 7 - 10 TTP
Technique Type: Kidō - Bakudō.
Usable By: Kidō-users.
Technique Element: Light.
Technique Cost: 25 Reiatsu.
Description: Fires a red light from the caster's fingertips, not unlike a Hollow's Cero, though far smaller and weaker. Anyone caught in the red light will be paralyzed for one post. The paralysis can be shrugged off with equal reiatsu strength, but this takes a few seconds. Superior reiatsu strength of 25% or higher will allow a very fast removal of Geki's effects. 50% or higher makes it instantaneous.
How to Use: Requires the caster to aim, not unlike use of any Hado technique.
Incantation: Incantation causes technique's size to double, but does not include any reiatsu strength bonuses. ("Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini! Look upon yourself with horror and then claw out your own throat!")
Drawbacks: Reiatsu cost.

Technique Name: Bakudō #9: Horin (Disintegrating Circle)
Technique Class: 7 - 10 TTP
Technique Type: Kidō - Bakudō.
Usable By: Kidō-users.
Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: 25 Reiatsu.
Description: The second Bakudo of this number, Horin causes an orange tendril of condensed spiritual energy to spiral out of the caster's fingertips and attempt to enclose around and bind an enemy. These tendrils, once having bound a target, can merge to connect the targets.
How to Use: The caster needs to point at the victim, not unlike casting any regular Hado.
Incantation: If used, the incantation allows a 10% increase in reiatsu strength. (I.E. A reiatsu strength valued at 100 would instead be worth 110.) ("Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini! Look upon yourself with horror and tear out your own throat!")

Technique Name: Bakudō #10: Tsu No Seishin (Soul Steal)
Technique Class: 7 - 10 TTP
Technique Type: Kidō - Bakudō.
Usable By: Kidō-users.
Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: 25 Reiatsu.
Description: This is a simple Bakudō. Similar to Bakudō #11: Haihin, it doesn't seal the opponent, but a weapon; however, not the opponents, but the caster's own. This Kidō is very advantageous; it seals the user's Zanpakutō to their soul, making it impossible for anyone else to even touch it, a barrier forming that requires a higher Reiatsu Strength to break. The Zanpakutō remains; however, it is merely impossible for weaker opponents to even touch. Additionally, once, they may break the Bakudō to teleport their Zanpakutō to their hand. Doing this breaks the Bakudō. When cast, a stylized flame will appear on the blade of the Zanpakutō.
How to Use: State the name of the technique to activate it.
Incantation: Prevents the blade from being interfered with on a spiritual level as well. ("Like Excalibur, be cast into the unmoving stone, and there remain until there is need!")
Drawbacks: There is a reiatsu cost to this technique. Additionally, while this technique is active, its user cannot use release. This technique cannot be used if release has already been activated.

Technique Name: Bakudō #11: Haihin (Waste)
Technique Class: 7 - 10 TTP
Technique Type: Kidō - Bakudō.
Usable By: Kidō-users.
Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: 25 Reiatsu.
Description: This Bakudō is unlike any other Bakudō ever made. Instead of being used on another person, this Bakudō is designed to be used on an enemy’s weapon. Once cast, this Bakudō will create a small curse marking somewhere on the target’s weapon. Only in the instance of releases that merge the weapon with the body will this mark appear on a person. So, for example, this will appear on a released Arrancar or Akki since they lose their weapon in release. The seal appears to be a swastika, pitch black in color. But what does this Kidō do and how does one go about breaking this spell? Well, it’s simple really. This Bakudō is one that is designed to break. In fact, the whole point of this Kidō is to be broken by the opponent.
The method that one takes to break this Kidō spell is to simply use one of your weapon’s abilities. Basically any technique that isn’t listed in a character’s overall ability sections will shatter this Bakudō. But how exactly does this Bakudō hinder an opponent? Well, through the process of shattering the Bakudō, the technique they used to break it will be nullified. Meaning that whatever reiatsu or energy they used to activate the ability that shattered the Bakudō is lost. This Bakudō essentially makes the next Zanpakutō technique they use never happen. Other than that, this Bakudō is useless. One could fight an entire battle without using a single Zanpakutō or release technique and not even be aware they were being affected by this Bakudō.
How to Use: Requires physical contact with the adversary's weapon.
Incantation: Creates two markings, to negate the next two techniques. ("Stun them all with your blinding deception. Bite the night with your unfailing jaws and cause your enemies to cower in fear.")
Drawbacks: Can only be used once every five posts in addition to there being a reiatsu cost.

Description: Hides the target from sight, by bending light. The spell has the ability to mostly hide the presence and reiatsu of the user or specified object. Those with high level Energy Sensory will be able to detect the user. Costs 50 reiatsu per post to maintain. Users can be sensed by radar techniques (Pesquis) and with an Energy Sensory of one-tenth their Reiatsu Strength or greater. Its main purpose is to catch the opponent off-guard, cut off their assault, and give the user a huge opening to launch their own attack. What this technique does is it manipulates the ground between the user's feet, compacting the ground below the surface to create a small pit that has a radius of a meter and a depth of two meters. Otoshiana leaves just enough of the surface of the ground so that it can still maintain itself for a few moments before collapsing and revealing the pit just below it, and the user is then force to create a minuscule, unnoticeable gap between their feet and the ground with a little bit of condensed reiatsu. Therefore, when the opponent steps within one meter of the user, the ground beneath them will break and they will fall into the pit.
How to Use: The user must concentrate reiatsu into the bottom of his or her feet and activate the technique.
Incantation: Incantation doubles the size of the pit ("Deceive my foes with what the eyes cannot see, what the nose cannot smell, what tongue cannot taste. Let them fall into my trap.")
Drawbacks: This technique has the traditional reiatsu cost of a class 5 technique. However, its main flaw lies in its execution. The user must concentrate on maintaining the reiatsu beneath their feet, else they will literally fall into their own trap. In addition, in areas without air ground, the user would fall into the pit along with their opponent as long as the pit remains between them. Because of the focus required for this technique, the user can only move while keeping it active only if the technique is mastered. They cannot use any other techniques in the meantime, or they will be forced to split their attention and lose control, falling into the pit below them.

Technique Cost: 100 Reiatsu.
Description: This technique allows the user to create a reflective coating on the surface of the target of this Kido. It requires physical contact that must come either directly from the user onto the target or through the user’s weapon if it is in contact with the target. The target would now have a reflective coating that may cover up to a full surface area of 20 square feet, more than enough to cover a single person. Since the mirrors are hovering an almost minuscule distance above the target’s surface, they do not require reiatsu strength superiority. The reflective coating disappears after one post.
How to Use: Stated above.
Incantation: The incantation increases the reiatsu strength behind the technique by 20%. (I.E. Reiatsu strength valued at 100 is instead weighed in at 120.) (“Show the Priests sinning, the Heroes dying, the lovers cheating, the Jester crying. Show the world its true reflection.”)
Drawbacks: Other than the traditional Class 5 reiatsu cost, this technique cannot be used offensively on its own. In addition, it does not cover the eyes, ears, mouth, nostrils, or any other openings that one might have on their body when used on a person. Finally, it may be broken with an attack that has a higher offensive stat than the user’s reiatsu strength or a 2-class superiority.

Technique Cost: 150 Reiatsu.
Description: By infusing their lungs with Reiatsu, the user can expel a dense vapor cloud. The spray can vary in color and density based on several variables. The consistent effect is an obscured area, 6 meters in diameter, which can conceal those hidden within. The effectiveness of sight and smell for everyone are reduced within the haze. Sight only extends a meter and odors are masked by the vapor’s stench. The cloud will disperse after the Technique's duration ends.
This also has the effect of expelling toxins, dust, and other harmful irritants from the lungs, halting any ongoing effects caused by these foreign objects in the lungs.
Learned: The created cloud is a stationary sphere.
Mastered: The user continuously produces more vapor for the entire duration of the Technique.
How to Use: Concentration. the user must inhale a full breath; while noticeably focusing Reiatsu.
Incantation: N/A.
Drawbacks: Limited duration, 4 posts. Dispersible. Senses exceeding 200 can see twice as far; while Senses exceeding 300 are capable of discerning individual smells within the cloud. The cloud may be dispersed by Wind Techniques, Strength shock waves, evaporated by Fire Techniques, or even liquefied by Ice Techniques if any of these have at least 400 Stat strength. Additionally, removing irritants comes with its own drawback; if irritants are removed from the lungs, then they cause minor, temporary damage to the throat and windpipe, preventing any sort of vocalization until the end of the user's next post.

Technique Cost: 150 Reiatsu.
Description: This is a sealing technique. It is used not to seal the enemy however, but to seal another Kido. This has two distinct effects. The first is that it can be used to seal a Kido inside of an object, which for the next hour can instantly activate that Kido at any time at will of the user, even if left behind somewhere. It costs the cost of this technique and the cost of the Kido in question. That is one way of using it. The second is more effective. This can seal a technique inside of an enemy or an ally. The technique in question has its reiatsu broken down by the enemy or ally, who then gains extra reiatsu to use. The full reiatsu put into the technique, except for this Bakudo, goes into the enemy. Therefore, if Hado #88 was sealed in the enemy or ally, all of that reiatsu simply converts into 600 reiatsu for the enemy to use.
The trouble comes there. If the enemy or ally is given reiatsu that causes them to go over their current cap, they must spend all excess in their next post, or their body will explode from the excess and they will die. This can be used at the start of the fight as a bomb technique on suspecting enemies.
How to Use: To seal a technique inside of the enemy, the user needs to have physical contact with the part of the body that they will be sealing the technique into. They then activate this technique and pay the cost for it and the technique they wish to seal within the foe. Alternatively, the same is said of an object. Seal this into an object with physical contact with the object, and then use the object as one sees fit. The object automatically releases the Kido if the user gets up to a mile away from it. The object also cannot exceed the user in size.
Incantation: The incantation causes the class of the Kido imbued to go up by one, resulting in a higher class Kido for the cost of one class lower. For example, if a class 5 Kido is imbued, the incantation causes it to be valued at class 4 instead. It uses the same cost as a class 5 Kido however, the only extra cost being that of this technique. ("A dream within a dream, a heart within a soul, a core within a nucleus which in turn is within an atom. Within all there is still more. And within thee, I place this seal!")
Drawbacks: This technique leaves behind physical remnants of techniques. This means that if one were to use a stone based Kido that made stone, while the reiatsu would go into an ally, the stones would still form and remain behind. The same is true of an object, which would become filled by stones. This makes it highly implausible to use elemental Kido on objects or allies. Things such as fire, wind, or lightning, which are only temporary elements that cannot be long lasting can still be used, and they will have no remnants, and instead will just convert directly into reiatsu.

Description: By coursing Reishi throughout their entire body, the user can morph their physical makeup. There are two outcomes for this technique, Partial and Complete. Each has similar, yet different effects. Each has their own cost and drawbacks.
Partial: For 150 Reiatsu, the user can perform plastic surgery on themselves. Simple effects such as: reshaping facial features, recoloring the pigments of hair or skin, or the removal of excess weight. This ability cannot be used to provide enhanced qualities such as: increase bone or tissue density(Hierro-like effects or Physical stat increases), altering of internal organs(Sensory stat increases), the healing of injuries, or the production of new flesh(High Speed Regeneration effects).
Complete: For 300 Reiatsu, twice the usual amount, the user can turn their entire body into an animate, malleable slime. Able to pass through tiny cracks and able to move as a liquid.
Learned: The user may only activate the Partial effect.
Mastered: Physical stats are only reduced by 25% when using the Complete effect.
How to Use: Concentration. The user must focus Reiatsu into the portion of their body he wishes to alter.
Incantation: N/A.
Drawbacks: Requires at least 400 Healing Expertise. In addition, the Complete effects also: reduces both Physical stats by 50%, prevents the use of Cutback effects, and makes combat impossible for the user. Technique Name: Bakudō #64: Tousei Takai (Intoxication High)
Technique Class: 4 - 40 TTP
Technique Type: Kidō - Bakudō.
Usable By: Kidō-users.
Technique Element: Air.
Technique Cost: 150 Reiatsu.
Description: Tousei Takai is a flexible Bakudo, one that is used to ensnare and warp the mental abilities of the target that is caught within it. When used, this technique allows the user to release a constant fog of a red-tinted gas from their mouth until this Kido ends, which is two posts after its initial use. This fog will constantly spread wherever they go, leaving a trail behind them that will hover low to the ground, flying no higher than thirty feet above the ground at its peak. However, this cloud will remain for an extended period of time, namely a full five posts once the initial duration of this technique ends. The fact that this technique remains for such a long time, and can cover a fair area depending on how much the user moves around, makes this a very versatile and broad-spreading technique.
But what exactly does this cloud do? It fogs the mind. The victim has a hard time focusing once they are within this cloud, their vision blurring and their head spinning. This is just from the first breath, causing a fair amount of disorientation right away. But it gets worse the longer one is exposed to the cloud. After the second post of exposure, the victim loses their balance, causing them to stumble and easily collapse, making step techniques risky to use. Additionally, their vision begins to fade slightly, tinting everything a faded gray-red to further add to their blurred sight. A third post makes the victim unable to stand between the dizzying spinning sensation, their balance completely vanishing, and a sudden lack of focus that causes their mind to flit from one subject to another. Four posts, and the victim is practically a zombie, eyes drawn to the nearest shiny or pretty-colored object while they stumble around, unable to even walk thanks to their inability to balance. Battle Focus and Strength of Will can delay the effects of these symptoms, adding a single post per symptom for every 2 combined ranks in these skills (i.e. a 1 in both would cause the initial disorientation at post 2, balance and faded vision at post 3, and loss of balance at post 4, as the combined total is two ranks.)
The user is immune to this technique, as it is infused with their Reiatsu, and it can be blown away with a technique with a superiority of two classes or 25% higher Reiatsu Strength than the user's. Wind-based attacks, however, can blow this away with some ease, though the smoke is constantly being emitted, which can neutralize a single wind attack.
How to Use: Speak the incantation, and cast the spell. As long as the mouth remains open, smoke will continue to pour from it. Move around to spread the smoke over a large area.
Incantation: The smoke can be spread for an additional two posts upon use of the incantation, and the cloud's duration is doubled to ten posts after the spreading ends. (“Breathe in the mists of ambrosia, feel the mists fill your mind. Know the world, let it know you; spin to the ground like a dandelion tuft, stare at the sky and truly wonder at the nature of the stars.”)
Drawbacks: Reiatsu cost. Besides that, there are a few other drawbacks. First off, this technique is ineffective against opponents who can get above it, having a maximum height limit of thirty feet above a solid surface. Additionally, it can affect allies who are caught in the cloud, making this a double-edged sword. Finally, it takes a while for the strongest effects to kick in, meaning that the victims must be contained within the technique constantly to make full use of the effects.

How to Use: This requires the user's eyes to be focused on the target, and their casting hand to be aimed at the target as well. The six beams will then close in, but those who are quick enough or instinctive enough will be able to dodge.
Incantation: The incantation increases the reiatsu strength of this technique by 25%. (I.E. Reiatsu strength of 100 is instead worth 125.) ("Carriage of Thunder. Bridge of a spinning wheel. With light, divide this into six!")
Drawbacks: Reiatsu cost.

Technique Name: Bakudō #62: Hyapporankan (Hundred Steps Fence)
Technique Class: 4 - 40 TTP
Technique Type: Kidō - Bakudō.
Usable By: Kidō-users.
Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: 150 Reiatsu.
Description: A single rod of violet reiatsu is hurled at the target. On its way, it suddenly splits into several rods at once, which then pin the target to any nearby wall-like surface. Their body is then totally immobilized if this hits.
How to Use: It needs the caster to aim the casting hand at the target, not unlike any traditional Hadō.
Incantation: The number of rods is typically fifteen, but will double to thirty and will allow this to be used on up to two targets at once if incantation is used. Incantation unknown.
Drawbacks: Reiatsu cost.

Technique Cost: 150 Reiatsu.
Description: This is a much stronger version of Bakudo #4, one which does the same thing, but creates a gray cloth around the victim to indicate use of a different technique. Unlike #4, this requires a 50% reiatsu strength advantage to break.
How to Use: Unlike the original, this can be cast from a long distance, though in this case it can also be dodged. The casting hand must be aimed at the target.
Incantation: Incantation increases reiatsu strength by 25%. (I.E. Reiatsu strength valued at 100 is instead valued at 125.) Incantation unknown.

{Class 3 (Bakudō 66-80)}
Technique Name: Bakudō #66: Imosekai (Potato)
Technique Class: 3 - 80 TTP
Technique Type: Kidō - Bakudō.
Usable By: Kidō-users.
Technique Element: Potatoe.
Technique Cost: 400 Reiatsu.
Description: Imosekai is a Bakudo that is unlike any other. For proof, its elemental effect is potatoe. This Kidō has two activation methods, detailed below. When one is completed, and the Bakudo activated, the target feels a wave of nausea come over them. This is a fairly easily ignored feeling, but those targets of low constitution may vomit. If they do vomit, they will find that only mashed potatoes soaked in gravy pours from their throat. After the initial wave of nausea ends, the target's vision fades. They do not become blind, nor is their sense of sight impaired. What happens is that all of the colors that one sees fade until all that they see is shades of brown. With exceptional analysis skill, or focused eye, they should be able to keep on fighting as if nothing happened, but suddenly only being able to see in browns is shocking to say the least.
The second stage of this Bakudo is optional for the user, and requires the secondary incantation to be spoken. When the target’s vision has been only brown for at least 2 posts, and the secondary incantation is spoken, then the target's sense of touch fades until all that they touch feels like the coarse skin of a potatoe. This can be both a blessing and a curse, as they won’t feel any pain, but cannot easily feel things anymore. Manipulating weapons and such is difficult if they cannot easily acclimate to it.
If the target still doesn’t succumb for at least 4 posts after their touch has been made like a potatoe, then the third incantation can be used. It activates the final stage of the Bakudō. The target first loses the remainder of their senses (smell, taste, hearing, energy sensory) and finds themselves stuck in the form of a potatoe. This potatoe is indestructible save for reiatsu strength greater than 3x the user’s reiatsu strength, so unless someone far stronger than the caster of this Kidō comes along, they may permanently be a potatoe if they cannot break themselves out.
How to Use: The first way, the easiest way, to activate this technique is through skin-skin contact of the user and target. If this method is chosen, then the incantation is not required. The second method is to pick up dirt, state the incantation, and fling it at the target. If any dirt lands on the skin of the target, then the Bakudō is activated. The secondary incantation can be used after a minimum of two posts, and activates the second stage even if physical contact has not been made. The third stage requires physical contact to be made throughout the utterance of the incantation, and the second stage must have been active for 4 posts before it was started.
Incantation: Primary Incantation: “See this dirt? The works of the wind and the rains that struck down the mountains and brought them to their feet. Inside this dirt is the power of the ancient forces of change. And you shall know change. Let the Almighty One under the Ground be witness to this opening of your eyes.”
Secondary Incantation: “You heretic, you blasphemer. You who deny the vision of the Great Potatoe. You who make a mockery of his gift. You who have been given true sight, and yet reject it. Take on yourself the touch of greatness.”
Tertiary Incantation: “You have been judged, and found lacking. The Almighty Potatoe has deemed you unworthy of your current form, as you know not the true ways of life. Be gone from your comfort zone, be gone from your world of disbelief, and join into the folds of those who Know.”
Drawbacks: Reiatsu Strength superior by 50% of the users can break through this Bakudo, as can an Illusion Resist of 3. Has a sizable reiatsu cost for something that does not immobilize a target. The Third Stage cannot be resisted by Illusion Resist, and instead requires more than double the user’s reiatsu strength to break on their own.

Technique Name: Bakudō #67: Sukkiri Sekisho (Sneaky Someone)
Technique Class: 3 - 80 TTP
Technique Type: Kidō - Bakudō.

Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: 400 Reiatsu.
Description: This is a simple technique. It makes you completely transparent. This technique makes you intangible to any and all physical attacks. They all go right through you as if you are a ghost. By trapping yourself in a sort of unbreakable trap with your reiatsu reinforcing the trap. This trap locks you in a sort of ghost form. Anyone who is outside of the trap which is anyone cannot touch you. This also allows you to walk through walls that are even made of reishi or reiatsu walls and defenses. This lasts for 2 posts without incantation.
How to Use: State the name of the technique.
Incantation: Doubles duration of technique from 2 posts to 4. ("The darkness gathers, it blinds, it defrauds. Become the unseen, the untouched. Become cursed like those in far away lands. Fear, despair, and rot. There is no savior from penance.")
Drawbacks: The user cannot attack or charge reiatsu at all while this technique is active.

Technique Type: Kidō - Bakudō.
Usable By: Kidō-users.
Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: 400 Reiatsu.
Description: Gantoretto is a Bakudo used to protect oneself. It allows the user to form a barrier of super condensed reiatsu around selected limbs protecting them from harm. Gantoretto has the same Reiatsu strength as the user, 150% if used with the incantation, and can protect one limb, two if mastered. Any attack with a reiatsu strength equal to or lower than it will not be able to cut it. This Bakudo lasts for ten posts before the reiatsu cost must be expended again to refresh it.
How to Use: The user draws their fingers over the selected limbs and speaks the name or incantation.
Incantation: Incantation effect stated above. ("Winds rage and tempests blow, but rock stands and castles know that true strength is in solid defense.")
Drawbacks: The first drawback to this Bakudo is the size. It can only cover limbs, and two at most per use of it. Secondly, it only protects one side of that limb. For instance, if used on the legs it would either protect the shins and thighs or the calves and hamstrings. Also, this Bakudo has no offensive ability. It cannot be used against an opponent in any way except to guard against an attack.

Technique Name: Bakudō #69: Enerugīrīchi (Energy Leech)
Technique Class: 3 - 80 TTP
Technique Type: Kidō - Bakudō.
Usable By: Kidō-users.
Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: 300 Reiatsu/post.
Description: This technique is designed to wear out both the user and his opponents in the process, easily shortening the duration of what could have been a drawn-out fight. What this technique does is create a clear, glass-like barrier in the form of a dome with a radius of 200 meters, the center being the user. All those confined in this glass dome would be forced to pay twice the usual reiatsu cost for any and all techniques. This technique is exempt from that effect, though all other techniques activated by the user cost double the reiatsu as well. The user may end the technique at will, and the glass dome will fade into the air.
How to Use: Pay reiatsu cost and activate.
Incantation: Incantation doubles the size of the dome, giving it a radius of 400 meters ("Stamina trumps strength. Stamina trumps speed. Stamina trumps force. Let us take the punches until our foes cannot throw anymore, and only when they are breathless at our feet will we vanquish them.”)
Drawbacks: The largest drawback of this technique is its drain on the user’s reiatsu over time. Each post, including the post that is activated, the user must pay 300 reiatsu to maintain the technique. Another weakness in it is that the glass dome is easy to penetrate, and requires an offensive stat of half the user’s reiatsu strength to beat. However, anyone who breaks the barrier, including the user, would immediately lose 500 reiatsu. Lastly, the technique is draining to the user’s physical stamina. Moving at a speed over 300, rather than the 400, now fatigues the user.

How to Use: State the name of the technique while the casting hand is aimed at the target.
Incantation: The incantation causes the speed of the pillars to double, while also causing immobility in targets trapped by this technique. ("Walls of ironsand, a priestly pagoda, glowing ironclad fireflies. Standing upright, silent to the end.")
Drawbacks: Reiatsu cost.

Technique Class: 3 - 80 TTP
Technique Type: Kidō - Bakudō.

Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: 400 Reiatsu.
Description: As soon as the Kido is cast, thousands of metal feathers materialize all around the enemy. Each one releases a small beam of pink reiatsu onto part of the enemy. Thousands of them constrict the enemy in every last inch of their body, except for the head, binding them completely in paralysis. It also begins to send a "virus" type energy into their system, neutralizing the reiatsu that they can use to battle.
How to Use: Requires the user to aim at the target with both hands at once and cast the Kido.
Incantation: The technique can be nullified by superior reiatsu strength, but incantation negates this. The technique used with incantation cannot be nullified except by superior class. ("Your body will not be burned. Your soul will not be lain to rest. You will lay on the ground and continue to rot as the rain hits your corpse. You will be attacked and disgraced by the world around you, until all that is left is your rotting bones. There is no honor for you. There is no life for you. There is only demise and shame.")
Drawbacks: Apart from being left open, the user is also prone to losing mobility in the left arm and feeling in the rest of the body, a huge numbness. This also halves the user's speed, and immediately halves their spiritual pressure as well.

How to Use: Markings must be written out on the caster's arms while speaking or thinking about the message.
Incantation: This technique can be used on anyone within two miles of the caster if used with incantation. ("Black and white net. Twenty-two bridges, sixty-six crowns and belts. Technique Class: 3 - 80 TTP
Technique Type: Kidō - Bakudō.

Technique Element: Darkness.
Technique Cost: 400 Reiatsu.
Description: This technique has only been used once in Tite Kubo's canon, and thus the effect is rather obscure. Once this is cast, several small black tears of reiatsu form around the victim, connected by an invisible connection, each within a meter of the last, and one for each individual body part. The entire body is instantly sealed and immobilized. While this technique can be dodged by the quick or quick thinking, it is unique in its ability to delay being broken once a victim is caught. No matter the reiatsu strength, this technique requires four seconds at minimum to break. However, this is an easily dodged technique as well which is usually rare in connecting.
How to Use: The casting hand must be aimed at the victim.
Incantation: The incantation does not increase the reiatsu strength, but instead, if the technique is used with it, then every post of being caught in this technique, the victim's remaining reiatsu amount will halve from its current point. This is excluding the post of capture. Incantation unknown.

Technique Cost: 400 Reiatsu.
Description: This bakudo binds together the target’s wrists, elbows, knees, and ankles in thick, steel chains. What sets Gachan apart from other bakudo is that those who are trapped by it are unable to use any reiatsu-based techniques during this time, meaning that they cannot break the kidou using a kidou or cero of their own. Breaking this bakudo requires the victim to possess superior strength or reiatsu strength than the reiatsu strength of the person using this bakudo. Using the incantation causes the chains to strengthen to the point where a person will need 100 more strength or reiatsu strength than the user’s reiatsu strength to even attempt to break their bindings. During the time that the enemy is trapped by this bakudo, the user is unable to use any reiatsu-based techniques as well. If the user wishes to keep the enemy’s reiatsu abilities sealed for extended periods of time they must keep their hands clasped together in concentration.
How to Use: Requires physical contact with the target.
Incantation: Effect stated above. ("Honesty, guide me. Kindness, show your face. Laughter, fill everywhere with your presence. Allow generosity to sweep over yourself like a hurricane. Loyalty shall live forever. These elements fuel the fire of eternal magic.")

Technique Name: Bakudō #76: Reika Jii (Sub-Zero Sting)
Technique Class: 3 - 80 TTP
Technique Type: Kidō - Bakudō.
Usable By: Kidō-users.
Technique Element: N/A.

Technique Name: Bakudō #77: Tenteikura (Heavenly Rickshaws in Silken Air)
Technique Class: 3 - 80 TTP
Technique Type: Kidō - Bakudō.
Usable By: Kidō-users.
Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: 400 Reiatsu.
Description: Transmits messages mentally to anyone within an area of the caster's choosing. In addition to reciting the spell, the user must draw specific markings on their arms, which are animated by the spell to convey the messages. The messages can be spoken either by the caster or by another within the vicinity of the caster.
How to Use: Markings must be written out on the caster's arms while speaking or thinking about the message.
Incantation: This technique can be used on anyone within two miles of the caster if used with incantation. ("Black and white net. Twenty-two bridges, sixty-six crowns and belts. Footprints, distant thunder, sharp peak, engulfing land, hidden in the night, sea of clouds, blue line. Form a circle and fly though the heavens.")
Drawbacks: Reiatsu cost.

Technique Name: Bakudō #79: Shibarikuyou (Death's Blackening Grasp)
Technique Class: 3 - 80 TTP
Technique Type: Kidō - Bakudō.
Usable By: Kidō-users.
Drawbacks: Reiatsu cost.

Technique Name: Bakudō #80: Gachan (Crash)
Technique Class: 3 - 80 TTP
Technique Type: Kidō - Bakudō.
Usable By: Kidō-users.
Technique Element: Metal.
Drawbacks: Reiatsu cost. Otherwise, stated above.

Technique Name: Bakudō #81: Danku (Splitting Void)
Technique Class: 2 - 180 TTP
Technique Type: Kidō - Bakudō.
Usable By: Kidō-users.
Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: 600 Reiatsu.
Description: Creates a clear, very high and wide barrier of reiatsu instantaneously in front of the user. Can be used to block reiatsu attacks, low level physical attacks, and any Kido from numbers 1-89, though this is also still dependent on the user's reiatsu strength.
How to Use: This can be cast with mental thought, with hand motions, or with naming it. This requires no special movements for casting.
Incantation: The strength of the technique goes up 40% from incantation. (I.E. Reiatsu strength valued at 100 is instead valued at 140 during incantation.) "Barrier of dust, shield of north, protector of Men! Arise from ashes and reveal our weakness. Dissolve into air and hide our sins! On altars of greed we call you. In graves of virtue we worship you. Bind, scatter, reduce to ash! Cripple, crush, dissolve!"
Drawbacks: Reiatsu cost.

Technique Name: Bakudō #87: Tsutsumi (Bundle)
Technique Class: 2 - 180 TTP
Technique Type: Kidō - Bakudō.
Usable By: Kidō-users.
Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: 600 Reiatsu.
Description: In a similar manner to Bakudō 81, this Kidō creates a barrier after it is used. Unlike Danku, this barrier surrounds the user completely like a bubble. It is transparent and can be cast on other people if such use of it is desired. What this bubble-shield does is essentially block any reiatsu-based attack that comes into contact with it. Tsutsumi is capable of blocking any reiatsu attack for up to two times the user’s reiatsu strength (four times if used with incantation). This is clearly one of the leading Bakudō when it comes to blocking reiatsu-based techniques, however it possesses a significant weakness. Practically any physical attack can pop the Bakudō like a bubble. The barrier specializes in blocking reiatsu techniques and has completely forsaken the defense of physical attacks because of this. A punch or thrown weapon is enough to pop this Bakudō no matter how high the user’s reiatsu strength is.
How to Use: Stated above.
Incantation: Stated above. ("Heed the warnings of the deceased. A coffin among perils protects. Step inside the symbiont and dig towards the truth. Dancing on a thin line. Control the tiniest motions. Withhold the simplest needs. Give life everlasting.")
Drawbacks: Reiatsu cost. Provides zero defense against physical strikes.

Technique Name: Bakudō #88: Isshuin Kaze (Shadow Ties)
Technique Class: 2 - 180 TTP
Technique Type: Kidō - Bakudō.
Usable By: Kidō-users.
Technique Element: Shadow.
Technique Cost: 600 Reiatsu.
Description: Several tendril-like shadows form from either the shadow of the target or the shadow of the caster. The shadows then coil around the target and constrict them in place, causing them to be immobile. The tendrils are very flexible and are difficult to pierce. Can be destroyed only by superior reiatsu strength or superior class technique. Cannot be destroyed by physical means.
How to Use: Speak the Kidō’s name then press hands on shadow on the ground. Also to make the tendrils form from the opponent's shadow, he must touch their shadow first.
Incantation: Reiatsu strength of the technique increases by 40% during use of incantation. (I.E. Reiatsu strength valued at 100 is instead valued at 140.) ("Trap ye black dog, dark tower in the south. Floodgates of darkness, corrupted despair runs through the veins of the land. Colossus of clouds, smirking sins, eye of the tempest beast. Ruler of the land of darkness and bearer of the name of Obelisk! Bind thy enemy before me and halt their movement to the fullest!")
Drawbacks: Reiatsu cost. Requires focus, and leaves the user vulnerable during continued use.

Technique Name: Bakudō #90: Hisan Hebi (Flying Serpent)
Technique Class: 2 - 180 TTP
Technique Type: Kidō - Bakudō.
Usable By: Kidō-users.
Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: 600 Reiatsu.
Description: When this technique is used, it causes fifty serpents of Reiatsu to burst forth from the palm of the user, and fly at whatever target the user wishes. The snakes each have a small amount of poison that blocks Reiatsu from being used. Each snake can block 20 Reiatsu. The amount of snakes doubles to one hundred when used with the incantation.
How to Use: Gather Reiatsu into the palms, state the name of the technique, let loose onto whatever hapless sap that happens to be around.
Incantation: Stated above. ("Forgotten ruler of the lands below, awaken from your restless slumber and wreak havoc on the world above! Lay waste to the cities and towns of the surface, feast on its people! The circle of the nine cities lay broken and burning, the corpses of men and animals are strewn throughout the land! Ten shattered axles, three blood stained books, nine fallen souls, all lost to the scourge, the resonant cry that extinguishes hope for the few and the lost!")
Drawbacks: The palm that uses this technique becomes burned with first degree burns. In addition to this, some of the poison of the snakes gets into the users own Reiatsu flow, which causes Reiatsu costs to increase by 50% for three posts. When the incantation is used for this, the burns become second degree, and the costs become 75% more. Additionally, if someone has 50-100 more Reiatsu Strength than the caster, the snakes’ poison is reduced in effectiveness by half. If they possess double Reiatsu Strength, the snakes have no effect on the target.

Technique Name: Bakudō #99 Part 1: Kin (Seal)
Technique Class: 2 - 180 TTP
Technique Type: Kidō - Bakudō.
Usable By: Kidō-users.
Technique Element: Metal.
Technique Cost: 600 Reiatsu.
Description: Binds the arms of a target to their back like Bakudo #1: Sai, but does so with spiritual fabric and iron shafts. The fabric wraps around the body and then pins it to the ground while the iron shafts pin it even more in several overlapping “X” patterns on top of the body. Those caught in this technique are completely immobilized.
How to Use: This can be done by aiming the casting hand at the target, but if it is done this way then the bindings fall from the sky, allowing the technique to be dodged. If this is done through physical contact, it is impossible to dodge, and the bindings appear instantly.
Incantation: This spell can be broken with a Reiatsu Strength advantage of 50%, but the incantation makes it unbreakable. ""Gods, I forsake thee. God of War, your wrath consumes all. God of Chains, your bindings snap under pressure. God of Peace, your power is not found here. God of Mercy, you have left this world. I take it upon myself to be the Might of the God of War, the Bindings of the God of Chains, the Peacemaker when the God of Peace cannot, and the Hand of Justice when the God of Mercy will not. Technique Class: 2 - 180 TTP
Technique Type: Kidō - Bakudō.

Technique Element: Metal.
Technique Cost: 600 Reiatsu.
Description: This spell first covers the target from head to toe with a thick fabric (first song), and follows up by stabbing them with numerous metal bolts (second song). It finalizes by smashing them with an immense metal cube (final song). This Bakudo is unbreakable when it has been completed, regardless of reiatsu strength. It can be broken only through its caster's death or willing release. Reiatsu cannot be used and is completely sealed if this technique is complete. For every song that is allowed to land on the user, 1/3 of their reiatsu strength and remaining reiatsu is removed.
How to Use: This can only be used if Kin has already been cast, and is done through aiming the casting hand at the incarcerated victim. The first and second songs can both be broken by double and triple the caster's reiatsu strength respectively being flexed, but the final song is unbreakable.
Incantation: All three songs have different incantations. If the incantation is used for the first song, then the first song's reiatsu strength doubles. If the incantation is used for the second song, then the second song's reiatsu strength triples. If incantation is used for the final song, then all of the victim's stats will be burned away to 10 instantly while the victim is caught. Incantations unknown.
