This was the time to push everything aside for Asmoskon to rise past his limitations. This was easier said then done and Asmoskon knew this for sure due to the fact that the limitations were still as such and he hadn't surpassed them already. Now here he was miles away from Tokyo in order to train and obtain the talent that his grandfather and father had spoken of so much during his childhood. It was this power Asmoskon knew he would need to make more of a difference to help others and protect the innocence of the human world from any and all of dare to harm them. No one seemed to be anywhere close by or within the small forest Asmoskon had chosen to train within on this day which made things even more perfectly suited to push past everything holding him at his current level of power.
Focusing his reiatsu into his left hand Asmoskon formed his bow seeming to appear from nothingness itself to the natural human eye. The pitch black longbow was something that Asmoskon always found quite odd about himself why when he felt so strongly about protecting others and the wellbeing of everything around him would the very thing that he uses to do so be such a color. Grasping the grip of his bow Asmoskon takes sight of a specific tree only fifty meters or so away an easy target for any Quincy. However something easy wasn't going to help Asmoskon push past his own limits and as such the young Quincy had thought through the previous night what exactly he would need to do to increase his power in a swift fashion. Rushing to the right while keeping his eyes focused on the same tree that he had select only a moment before Asmoskon pulls back with his right hand on the black bowstring channeling his reiatsu causing the dark red energy to manifest.
Breathing heavily Asmoskon lend down on the ground holding his bow in his left hand with his right hand placed on the ground to support his weight. Asmoskon stares toward the tree that he had been firing off at as his target over the last twenty minutes which now lay on the ground with multiple sections of its body suffering from holes in some form or another. In truth Asmoskon was not satisfied with the results that he had witnessed from his training however brief it may have only been. So far all the young Quincy had done was move as swiftly as possible to the side and change direction randomly while continuing to fire at the single target while attempting to cause as little damage to the surrounding trees and miss as little as possible. This training while many may see it as pointless or not extreme enough to actually wield results had been a test. This training had been a test for combat treating the main tree that now lay on the ground as the enemy while all around him would be considered innocence.
While Asmoskon had been successful after a fair portion of time in bringing the large tree to its end the surrounding tree had also taken some form of damage from scattered arrows that Asmoskon had fired incorrectly while rushing throughout the surroundings. "Every Action Causes a Reaction" those words had been spoken to Asmoskon by his grandfather and were his guide throughout all of his life something he wasn't ever going to abandon. Taking in a large gulp of fresh air Asmoskon rises to his feet once again and begins to sequence again choosing another tree while rushing throughout the forest. Evading all the tree and roots possible treating them as threats and objects that would impede him in actual combat Asmoskon made the scenario feel much more real and much more difficult.
The repetitive action of placing his fingers on the bowstring while focusing his reiatsu into the form of a single arrow and drawing back on the said reiatsu arrow's notch was one that Asmoskon had already integrated within his mind at a young age as something as simple as breathing yet his fingers were beginning to hurt from the constant tug. Yet another tree was his target now and now at one hundred yards away the scenario was something Asmoskon was finding to be far more difficult. Focus, channel, draw, aim and release all in the same pattern with the success rate increasing just as the pain in his right index and middle fingers did as well. Asmoskon knew this wasn't going to increase his skills all that much however with the same movements that his grandfather had taught him and because of that the movement had to get one step harder. Backing up to the left Asmoskon repeats the actions as swiftly as possible treating the very distance from the ground as the time between life and death.
Asmoskon continued to jump to each side over and over again some times even leaping across the air rolling on the ground and with one knee placed on the ground below him giving him a good position would fire right away. Breathing heavily once again Asmoskon realized that if he were in fact going to need maneuvers like the ones that he was executing currently throughout all of his battles that he was going to need to increase his physical condition at another time. The standard training of utilizing his reiatsu arrows through the medium of his bow Asmoskon knew was becoming successful yet was at a slow pace. The young Quincy knew he would need something far less predictable that could aid him through his weaknesses and obvious battle style. Thinking back to the lessons of his grandfather and father before Asmoskon searches throughout the records of Quincy history stored within his own mind.
Versteckte Pfeil a simple Quincy technique had popped to the surface of Asmoskon's mind from the depths below. Asmoskon recalled what this techniques specific purpose and action was and had decided to give it what energy he had left in order to learn this technique. He needed something that would give him an edge against those that wouldn't be expecting an arrow once they closed the distance between themselves and Asmoskon and this was that technique one that would allow him to manifest an arrow from his bare hand. As the pitch black bow disappears from Asmoskon's grip he takes in a breathe and searches for the feeling of his reiatsu and how it feels to manifest and shape his reiatsu into the form of an arrow. In truth due to Asmoskon learning how to do so when he was too young to actually remember it now made the boy overlook the simple action of feeling his arrows as he creates them.
Concentrating while focusing his reiatsu into the single point of his hand Asmoskon extends his right hand outward in an attempt to fire the reiatsu out in the form of an arrow only to fail. Realizing that there must be something else that he is missing Asmoskon starts once again from the beginning. Thinking more carefully on how he manifests his reiatsu into the form of a small arrow on the side of his bows like always he knew the difference couldn't be that much different with simply doing so from his own hand. Extending outwards once more toward a distant tree Asmoskon manifests and launches a much thicker arrow from the palm of his hand. Only extending in actuality a total of ten feet Asmoskon knew that he had yet to master the Versteckte Pfeil, but the basics he now understood.
Over the next hour Asmoskon remained concentrated and focused on his improvement of his reiatsu and being able to utilize it. In that hour Asmoskon had continued to practice the Versteckte Pfeil one time after another with a small amount of time between the practicing of the technique for Asmoskon could tell. From the very first time that he used the technique that massive stress was being placed on the muscles of his arm. After the third time that Asmoskon had used the technique he felt that his understanding was increasing as well as his method of using the technique yet the pain in his right arm was also increasing drastically. Once the third attempt was successful Asmoskon had chosen to use his left arm in order to continue practicing the technique and not place further stress on the muscles of his right arm.
The point had been reached however that Asmoskon had reached his barriers once again toward practicing in a single weekend day. Both of his arms now in considerable pain due to the large amount of attempts at the Versteckte Pfeil and how exactly to perfect its usage. Though still far from mastering the technique Asmoskon had come to understand it far more than its first use. Over the last few uses Asmoskon had felt that while the pain continued to increase the actually thought and concentration needed to form the technique had dissipated from how large it had been only a few hours earlier. Walking back through the forest Asmoskon got on his motorcycle and rode back to Tokyo understanding that for the day his training must be halted and his body restored.
Early in the morning the following day Asmoskon once again rode to the same forest that he had trained in previously. The previous night Asmoskon had been exhausted from training to control his reiatsu and develop his skills as a Quincy causing him to simply fall asleep once he arrived at his apartment. On the way to the forest as he rode through Tokyo Asmoskon had made sure to grab a sandwich that was filled with protein and carbs in order to provide his body with enough nutrients for the full day of training. Now standing in the same spot that he had finished his training the day before Asmoskon though about what he might need in the future when dealing with threats. What were his weaknesses and how could he overcome or simply evade them in order to become more effective in dealing with harm.
After a few minutes of thinking through how as a Quincy Asmoskon had been taught to fight threats something popped into the corner of his mind. As a Quincy Asmoskon focused most on distance combat yet if in a situation where the surrounds were dark Asmoskon would be next to helpless due to lack of vision. This was troubling at first for Asmoskon due to the fact that he hadn't realized it before, but now was the time to erase that flaw. Something had to be thought of in order to provide light in situations that Asmoskon would need it, obviously the young Quincy could simply buy a flashlight or something yet he was also in need of further reiatsu mastery.
It had taken about half an hour for Asmoskon to think of something that might provide him with light that could also help him experiment with his control of his own reiatsu to greater heights. Placing his right out in front of his body while he concentrates his reiatsu Asmoskon attempts to shape his spiritual energy into a orb just within the grasp of his palm. This while many my find easily accomplishable Asmoskon felt a degree of difficulty with due to the fact that he honestly never shaped his reiatsu into anything other than an arrow of some sort. The first few tries ended with Asmoskon failing completely, being unable to shape his reiatsu effectively enough causing the technique he was attempting to learn to fail.
Over the next hour Asmoskon continued to practice until finally the sign of a small orb in the center of his right palm became visible. Once the small orb formed Asmoskon could see that it was illuminating only a small portion of his hand and was in fact glowing itself. Focusing more clearly on the orb now Asmoskon realized that it was expending its own size. As the orb continued to expand Asmoskon witnessed that its illumination was covering much more as well. Once the orb grew to the point of Asmoskon's own hand the young Quincy felt he had gained what he needed and cancelled his concentration of reiatsu causing the orb to disappear and the illumination to fade as well.
Now with some form of illumination at his disposal no matter the situation Asmoskon went to the next weakness he understood he had that most Quincy to his knowledge also shared. The matter was that while Quincy are best at distance that provides a huge disadvantage to hollows that are incredible swift something Asmoskon had been told by his father. Not everyone fights with distance forms of combat and many only chosen or can battle in melee form something Asmoskon as a Quincy wasn't fairly trained in. Just as the young Quincy had recalled the Versteckte Pfeil by searching through the records of his mind he now remembered the technique known as Hohle Schneide something he felt would aid him in the future and must be acquire at the moment.
This was something Asmoskon wasn't completely sure he was ready for due to his harsh training yesterday however he wasn't the type of person to let one barrier slow him down from breaking through another. Concentrating his reiatsu into his hands Asmoskon imagines in his mind the form of a sword "Smite the enemy with hollow steel". Speaking the incantation of Hohle Schneide Asmoskon could feel a change in the reiatsu concentrated toward his hands yet just as he felt an even greater change was about to occur the feeling vanished. Slightly frustrated with at how close he seemed to be to activating and acquiring the technique he sought on the first attempt Asmoskon began once again.
It had been another few hours of training the Hohle Schneide at a low rate something Asmoskon wasn't proud of or thrilled about. Over the last few hours Asmoskon had gotten closer and closer to achieving the technique yet always failed toward the last few moments. After each few attempts Asmoskon would sit and rest waiting for his reiatsu to come back to him and start anew. Doing so once again Asmoskon focuses on the image of a sword in his grasp and speaks the incantation of the technique. Opening his eyes and looking down at his right hand Asmoskon grins as he witnesses the dull silver blade in his grasp.
