"Taien Hadohou, Vice-Commander of the Kidou Corps. Name and rank, would you kindly?"
This was unexpected... Was he captive for something internal affairs related? No.. Wait, no. That wasn’t the Kidou Corps’ motus operandi. That was squad six’s thing, right? And they’d know his name and rank anyways if he was being interrogated. The man’s tone didn’t seem worried, however.. That meant he wasn’t a captive? Why should he be, after all? He managed to answer before the guard appeared.
“Oroki, Kisaku.. Third seat of the Expedition Squad.” He explained, slightly breathless for some reason... Not having his usual spiritual pressure, it felt like the very air around him was heavier than it normally was. He was still having issues acclimating to the changes. Beyond that, he felt like every movement he made was in slow motion. Like moving in syrup, it was very disorienting to him, and actually threatened to make him sick, along with the lack of his senses and the fear that it caused him.
By the time Taen went to help him out, he had whole new questions to ask, now knowing that Taen was a fellow captive, just like him. “W-where am I? What’s happening?..” He asked, primarily to Taen but he knew the guard was still there, judging by the brief conversation him and Taen just had.. An answer from either would suffice. After he was helped to his feet, Kisaku tested his bindings once again, struggling lightly.. Wincing a bit. If he could just reach his zanpakuto...
If he could just reach his zanpakuto, 'what?', he realized. Megami-Kumo was an amazing blade, but she couldn't even help him in this situation... He still had to find out where he was first before he tried to escape. If he was still in the soul society, he wouldn't dare an attempt. That would incriminate him when to his knowledge, he'd done nothing wrong. Something gave him the feeling however, that this wasn't the Seireitei. The eerie nature of the guard, the use of iron manacles... Nothing fit.
In this sick gameworld however, it wouldn't be long before he got a very different view on things. This wasn't the soul society. And this wasn't a prison he wanted to be in.
