Section 4: Types and How They Affect Your Character

Types relate to character personalities, which basically refer to the type of person someone is. For example, Naruto is a clown. He has inner emotional turmoil and strength, but has a happy and foolish exterior. Types can be chosen for a character in order to alter Stats based on whatever Type is picked. This essentially means that some Stats may be weakened if they are deemed less important in order to strengthen more relevant ones. Type effectiveness will vary based on Rank. There are four Ranks with Rank 1 being the weakest with the least amount of benefits, and Rank 4 being the strongest with the most amount of benefits. These can be seen in the spoilers below. If you do not see your Rank listed, please ask a staff member for clarification. Until you receive it, assume you are Rank 1. Type changes must have a strong In-Character reason. At least three threads showing the development of a character towards the path the user has chosen are required. Additional rules are mentioned under the Type "Non-Typed," but this is the most important. These threads may be any types of threads so long as they show the IC changes that are pushing your character towards the Type you want.

Types I: Non-Typed

Non-Typed Type is a default baseline with nothing special for or against it. It is one of the weaker Types due to a lack of distinct advantage and is mostly a beginner Type. However, it has the advantage of developing characters towards a personality and build. This will later influence their abilities, meaning that, despite its initial weakness, it is a great tool for character development.



Type: Non-Typed

Description: Unchanged from the normal, this is an average person with nothing special about them.

Advantage: All Ranks: No Stat changes. Stats remain at assigned SP levels.

Non-Typed have a unique advantage. They are able to change their Type at given points without the requirement of a Change-It-Up. This allows a character to develop over time and discover a Type that works best for them, growing to fit that mold. There are a few rules restricting this:

• Non-Types are prohibited from changing into Prodigy (both), Technique Master, Soul Specialist, and Perma Release. Other Types are subject to their normal requirements.
• Type changes must have a strong In-Character reason. At least three threads showing the development of a character towards the path the user has chosen are required. These may be any types of threads so long as they show the IC changes that are pushing your character towards the Type you want.
• Characters must first reach the level of their primary Release or a significant development point in order to change Types. Classes required are as follows:
• Class 7 - Rogues, Bount, Failures
• Class 6 - Beast-Clan, Hollows, Arrancar, Quincy, Akki, and Nakabakki
• Class 5 - Fullbringers, Mod Souls, and Saika
• Class 4 - Shinigami, and Hason

Characters can only change Types upon gaining a new Class. This means that they have to change Types when they go up in Class or wait until the next Class-up.

Disadvantage: None

Types II: Physical Types

Physical Types are those who excel in melee combat, focusing on their Speed and Strength more than anything else. Types in the Physical Types category focus mostly on these two Stats. If any Type refers to “Physical Stats,” it means Speed and Strength, while “Spiritual Stats” refers to Reiatsu Strength and Spiritual Pressure. “Sensory Stats” refers to Senses, Instinct, and Energy Sensory.



Type: Berserker

Description: Someone that is so physically strong that they don't even need the help of other attributes. They can just get by purely with Strength. Usually, these people end up being the minions of more intelligent individuals.

Advantage:

• Rank 1: 150% increase to Strength (100 Strength would be 250). Berserker gains 1 free point in Pain Tolerance which doesn't count towards their SkP total. This cannot increase Pain Tolerance beyond it's normal cap.
• Rank 2: 350% increase to Strength (100 Strength would be 450). Instinct is increased by 25% (100 Instinct would be 125). Berserker gains 2 free points in Pain Tolerance which doesn't count towards their SkP total. This cannot increase Pain Tolerance beyond it's normal cap.
• Rank 3: 550% increase to Strength (100 Strength would be 650). Instinct is increased by 50% (100 Instinct would be 150). Berserker gains 3 free points in Pain Tolerance which doesn't count towards their SkP total. This cannot increase Pain Tolerance beyond it's normal cap.
• Rank 4: 700% increase to Strength (100 Strength would be 800). Instinct is increased by 100% (100 Instinct would be 200). Berserker gains 3 free points in Pain Tolerance which doesn't count towards their SkP total. This cannot increase Pain Tolerance beyond it's normal cap.

Disadvantage:

• Rank 1: Speed and Spiritual Stats are decreased by 50% (100 would be 50). Senses and Energy Sensory decreased by 50% (100 would be 50)
• Rank 2: Speed and Spiritual Stats are decreased by 60% (100 would be 40). Senses and Energy Sensory decreased by 50% (100 would be 50)
• Rank 3: Speed and Spiritual Stats are decreased by 70% (100 would be 30). Senses and Energy Sensory decreased by 50% (100 would be 50)
• Rank 4: Speed and Spiritual Stats are decreased by 80% (100 would be 20). Senses and Energy Sensory decreased by 50% (100 would be 50)

Race Restrictions: Available to All Races

Initial Weapons: One Starting Weapon (i.e. one Zanpakutō, one Doll, etc.)

Type: Brave

Description: These are the brave heroes that venture out into the front lines of battle. While they're very skilled and quite strong, they aren't the brightest. Just look at some of the protagonists we've seen.

Advantage:

• Rank 1: Select one Physical Stat to increase by 50% (100 would be 150). Increase the other Physical Stat by 25% (100 would be 125).
• Rank 2: Select one Physical Stat to double (100 would be 200). Increase the other Physical Stat by 50% (100 would be 150).
• Rank 3: Select one Physical Stat to increase by 150% (100 would be 250). Increase the other Physical Stat by 75% (100 would be 175).
• Rank 4: Select one Physical Stat to triple (100 would be 300). Double the other Physical Stat (100 would be 200).

Disadvantage: Drawback for all Ranks: Halve the Spiritual Stats of a Non-Typed character (100 would be 50).

Race Restrictions: Available to All Races

Initial Weapons: Can start with two, though this is optional. A Shinigami of this Type can develop two different Shikai with different abilities that merge together in Bankai, while a Bount can start with two Dolls instead of one and end with a total of four Dolls. No new Release technique slots are gained, so techniques are spread thinner among more weapons. Bonus weapon is limited to Shinigami and Bount.

Type: Fighter Version 1

Description: Fighters have given up most Reiatsu-based abilities. They focus solely on their own ability to fight and their 'weapons'. From the beginning, Shinigami cast aside Kidō. Arrancar would cast aside Cero, Bala, etc., but Movement abilities, such as Shunpo, are not affected. They are only able to fight using weapons strictly meant for them. Zanpakutō are spiritually connected with their wielder. Arrancar Zanpakutō are the sealed state of their true being. Quincy have their bows and Bounts have their Dolls. They are much stronger mentally and love fighting. Vizard are effected by not being able to use Kidō, but they can use their Vizard-based Reiatsu abilities like Vizard Cero and Vizard Mask.

Advantage:

• Rank 1: 50% increase to Physical Stats. (100 would be 150)
• Rank 2: 70% increase to Physical Stats. (100 would be 170)
• Rank 3: Double Physical Stats. (100 would be 200)
• Rank 4: 150% increase to physical Stats. (100 would be 250)

Disadvantage: Drawback for all Ranks: No Kidō can exist for the user, nor can any magical spells. Stepping techniques can still be used, but nothing beyond that. No Hadō, Bakudō, or Kaidō. No Bala, Cero, etc. Fullbringers can use their racial basic Soul Command, but no techniques that expand upon it. Remove 25% from one Spiritual Stat. Spiritual Pressure can only go up to 150 after Type and Healing Expertise and Energy Sensory can both only go up to 50.

Race Restrictions: Available to All Races.

Type: Prodigy Version 1

Description: Someone that has been very skilled and incredibly good at learning since a young age. This is a very rare person to come across. While these people are skilled and powerful, they may be severely unbalanced by weakness in other measures. Their strength magnifies consistently with age.

Advantage:

• Rank 1: 50% increase to either Speed or Strength (user picks in pre-approvement) of a Non-Typed character (100 would be 150). 50% increase to either Energy Sensory or Senses (user picks in pre-approvement) of a Non-Typed character (100 would be 150). Capable of using higher-Class techniques a Class early (capable of using Class 2 techniques at Class 4 instead of Class 3).
• Rank 2: Double either Speed or Strength (user picks in pre-approvement) of a Non-Typed character (100 would be 200). Double either Energy Sensory or Senses (user picks in pre-approvement) of a Non-Typed character (100 would be 200). Capable of using higher-Class techniques a Class early (capable of using Class 2 techniques at Class 4 instead of Class 3).
• Rank 3: Triple either Speed or Strength (user picks in pre-approvement) of a Non-Typed character (100 would be 300). Triple either Energy Sensory or Senses (user picks in pre-approvement) of a Non-Typed character (100 would be 300). Capable of using higher-Class techniques a Class early (capable of using Class 2 techniques at Class 4 instead of Class 3).
• Rank 4: 350% increase to either Speed or Strength (user picks in pre-approvement) of a Non-Typed character (100 would be 350). 350% increase to either Energy Sensory or Senses (user picks in pre-approvement) of a Non-Typed character (100 would be 350). Capable of using higher-Class techniques a Class early (capable of using Class 2 techniques at Class 4 instead of Class 3).

Disadvantage: All Ranks: A character may not “avoid” drawbacks by leaving the Stat at 0. A Prodigy v1 must put at least 25 points per Rank (up to 100 SP at Rank 4) in the Stat being decreased. Characters of this Type cannot take points in either Calm Mind or Lack of Fear (or equivalents thereof), and are also prone to mental instability and mental games.

• Rank 1: Select either Spiritual Pressure or Reiatsu Strength to decrease by 33% (100 would be 66). Healing Expertise and Instinct are decreased by 33% (100 would be 66).
• Rank 2: Select either Spiritual Pressure or Reiatsu Strength to decrease by 45% (100 would be 55). Healing Expertise and Instinct are decreased by 45% (100 would be 55).
• Rank 3: Select either Spiritual Pressure or Reiatsu Strength to decrease by 60% (100 would be 40). Healing Expertise and Instinct are decreased by 60% (100 would be 40).
• Rank 4: Select either Spiritual Pressure or Reiatsu Strength to decrease by 66% (100 would be 34). Healing Expertise and Instinct are decreased by 66% (100 would be 34).

Race Restrictions: Available to All Races.

Initial Weapons: Can start with two, though this is optional. A Shinigami of this Type can develop two different Shikai with different abilities that merge together in Bankai, while a Bount can start with two Dolls instead of one and end with a total of four Dolls. Type: Runner

Description: This Type is particularly good at running and possesses a decent amount of stamina that allows them to move at greater speeds without tiring themselves so easily.

Advantage:

• Rank 1: 75% increase to Speed (100 would be 175). Increases “efficient” running speed to 350, where the first stamina increase begins at 450.
• Rank 2: Double Speed (100 would be 200). Increases “efficient” running speed to 400, where the first stamina increase begins at 600.
• Rank 3: Triple Speed (100 would be 300). Increases “efficient” running speed to 500, where the first stamina increase begins at 700.
• Rank 4: 250% increase to speed (100 would be 350). Increases “efficient” running speed to 600, where the first stamina increase begins at 800.

Disadvantage: Drawback for all Ranks: Halve the Strength of a Non-Typed character (100 would be 50). Half Reiatsu total but not Spiritual Pressure. If you have 200 Spiritual Pressure, instead of having 2000 Reiatsu you would only have 1000.

Race Restrictions: Available to All Races

Type: Weapon Master

Description: A master of weaponry and the usage of tools and arms. This is someone that relies very little on techniques and other things.

Advantage:

• Rank 1: 75% increase in Physical Stats (100 would be 175). Capable of "transferring" Zanpakutō spirit to any melee-based weapon medium. This means that one can unlock two Zanpakutō with the same Release and abilities and wield two of the same Zanpakutō, though in different mediums. Have two of that Release at one time. Alternatively, one can have a non-sword weapon as their Zanpakutō. An Arrancar with this Type may transfer their Resurrección to another weapon, but may not use it to activate multiple Resurrección. They merely get a unique weapon with it. A Bount with this Type can duplicate a single one of their Dolls, including all techniques inherent to that specific Doll. This essentially gives them an additional, but identical, Doll.
• Rank 2: Double Physical Stats (100 would be 200). Capable of "transferring" Zanpakutō spirit to any melee-based weapon medium. This means that one can unlock two Zanpakutō with the same Release and abilities and wield two of the same Zanpakutō, though in different mediums. Have two of that Release at one time. Alternatively, one can have a non-sword weapon as their Zanpakutō. Can transfer Zanpakutō spirit to projectile weapon mediums (a bow, pistol, etc. Not the projectile itself). Disadvantage: Drawback for all Ranks: 50% decrease in Spiritual Stats (100 would be 50). Only allowed to learn up to 12 non-Release techniques total. Only allowed four total techniques between Shikai and Bankai. Arrancar lose one technique from their Resurrección, and Bounts lose three total techniques divided evenly among all of their Dolls. All Release abilities must be melee-based. Maximum of 100 in Energy Sensory.

Race Restrictions: Only Shinigami, Arrancar, and Bounts can be this Type.

Types III: Spiritual Types

Spiritual Types are those who excel in various ranges of combat, making use of their ability to manipulate Reiatsu and their powerful spiritual talents. Types in the Spiritual Types category focus mostly on improving their Reiatsu Strength and Spiritual Pressure. If any Type refers to “Physical Stats,” it means Speed and Strength, while “Spiritual Stats” refers to Reiatsu Strength and Spiritual Pressure. “Sensory Stats” refers to Senses, Instinct, and Energy Sensory.



Type: Cripple Version 1

Description: Someone who is incredibly powerful in the Reiatsu arts since they can no longer fight against enemies physically due to handicaps. These include being paraplegic or something similar.

Advantage:

• Rank 1: Double Reiatsu Strength (100 would be 200). Double Energy Sensory (100 would be 200). Capable of learning three additional non-Release techniques.
• Rank 2: Triple Reiatsu Strength (100 would be 300). 150% increase in Energy Sensory (100 would be 250). 50% increase in Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 150). Capable of learning three additional non-Release techniques.
• Rank 3: 250% increase in Reiatsu Strength (100 would be 350). Triple Energy Sensory (100 would be 300). Double Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 200). Capable of learning three additional non-Release techniques.
• Rank 4: Quadruple Reiatsu Strength (100 would be 400). 250% increase in Energy Sensory (100 is 350 instead). 150% increase in Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 250). Capable of learning three additional non-Release techniques.

Disadvantage: Must be handicapped in such a way that physical combat is impossible. Examples include legs that are either gone or won't work, arms that are either gone or won't work, broken neck, etc. This character never gets a usable physical weapon. Only allowed the first stage of Release. Bounts can have only one Doll.

Race Restrictions: Every Race except Hollows, Mod Souls, and Failures.

Initial Weapons: One Starting Weapon (i.e. one Zanpakutō, one Doll, etc.). Impossible to use physically.

Type: Cripple Version 2

Description: Someone who is incredibly powerful in the Reiatsu arts since they can no longer fight against enemies physically due to handicaps. These include being paraplegic and blind or deaf.

Advantage: Advantage for all Ranks: Quadruple Reiatsu Strength (100 would be 400) and double Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 200). If blindness is chosen, quadruple Senses (100 would be 400). Triple Senses if deafness is chosen (100 would be 300). This Type gains a 50% increase in Energy Sensory (100 would be 150). These cripples are special since they are able to unlock their Bankai and have multiple Dolls for Bounts.

Disadvantage: They are unable to use a set of limbs like their arm or legs. They are also required to pick being either blind or deaf. Physical combat is not allowed. They must have a different means of fighting such as Kidō. Strength and Instinct are decreased by 80% (100 would be 20). Speed and Healing Expertise are decreased by 50% (i100 would be 50).

Race Restrictions: Available to All Races

Initial Weapons: One Starting Weapon (i.e. one Zanpakutō, one Doll, etc.). Impossible to use physically.

Type: Mystic

Description: Mystics serve as your typical “casters”. These are the folks that are generally found a bit further from the heat of a fight, focusing more toward ranged combat through the utilization of their spiritual capabilities. While incredibly spiritually-apt, Mystics tend to be lacking quite noticeably with their physical capabilities.

Advantage:

• Rank 1: Select one Spiritual Stat to increase by 50% (100 would be 150). Increase the other Spiritual Stat by 25% (100 would be 125).
• Rank 2: Select one Spiritual Stat to double (100 would be 200). Increase the other Spiritual Stat by 50% (100 would be 150).
• Rank 3: Select one Spiritual Stat to increase by 150% (100 would be 250). Increase the other Spiritual Stat by 75% (100 would be 175).
• Rank 4: Select one Spiritual Stat to triple (100 would be 300). Double the other Spiritual Stat (100 would be 200).

Disadvantage: All Ranks: 50% decrease to both Physical Stats (100 would become 50).

Race Restrictions: Available to All Races except Beast-Clansmen and Failures.

Initial Weapons: Can start with two, though this is optional. A Shinigami of this Type can develop two different Shikai with different abilities that merge together in Bankai, while a Bount can start with two Dolls instead of one and end with a total of four Dolls. Type: Prodigy Version 2

Description: Someone who is extremely skilled and has had a natural talent for things since a very young age. These individuals have skyrocketed ahead of their peers thanks to this natural talent. However, this talent is a double-edged sword that has occasionally caused them to become too accustomed to having it easy and not having to work hard, which can come back and bite them.

Advantage:

• Rank 1: 50% increase to either Reiatsu Strength or Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 150). 50% increase to either Energy Sensory or Healing Expertise (100 would be 150). Capable of using higher-Class techniques a class early (capable of using Class 2 techniques at Class 4 instead of Class 3).
• Rank 2: Double either Reiatsu Strength or Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 200). Double either Energy Sensory or Healing Expertise (100 would be 200). Capable of using higher-Class techniques a class early (capable of using Class 2 techniques at Class 4 instead of Class 3).
• Rank 3: Triple either Reiatsu Strength or Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 300). Double either Energy Sensory or Healing Expertise (100 would be 200). Capable of using higher-Class techniques a class early (capable of using Class 2 techniques at Class 4 instead of Class 3).
• Rank 4: 250% increase to Reiatsu Strength or Spirit Pressure (100 would be 350). 250% increase to either Energy Sensory or Healing Expertise (100 would be 350). Capable of using higher-Class techniques a class early (capable of using Class 2 techniques at Class 4 instead of Class 3).

Disadvantage:

• Rank 1: Select either Strength or Speed to decrease by 33% (100 would be 66). Instinct is decreased by 33% (100 would be 66).
• Rank 2: Select either Strength or Speed to decrease by 45% (100 would be 55). Instinct is decreased by 45% (100 would be 55).
• Rank 3: Select either Strength or Speed to decrease by 60% (100 would be 40). Instinct is decreased by 60% (100 would be 40).
• Rank 4: Select either Strength or Speed to decrease by 66% (100 would be 34). Instinct is decreased by 66% (100 would be 34).

All Ranks: Select either Energy Sensory or Healing Expertise (whichever was not boosted) to be decreased by 66% (100 would be 34). A character may not “avoid” this drawback by leaving the Stat at 0. A Prodigy v2 must put at least 25 points per Rank (up to 100 SP at Rank 4) in the Stat being decreased. Description: One that possesses a strong will and determination that gives them high spiritual power. They become so confident in their power that they lose sight of the world around them, and, as a result, tend to be less perceptive than others.

Advantage:

• Rank 1: 25% increase to Spiritual Stats (100 would be 125).
• Rank 2: 50% increase to Spiritual Stats (100 would be 150).
• Rank 3: Double Spiritual Stats (100 would be 200).
• Rank 4: 150% increase to Spiritual Stats (100 would be 250).

Disadvantage:

• Rank 1: 25% decrease to Senses and Instinct (100 would be 75). Healing Expertise is locked at 0 regardless of Stat boosts.
• Rank 2: 35% decrease to Senses and Instinct (100 would be 65). Healing Expertise is locked at 0 regardless of Stat boosts.
• Rank 3: 50% decrease to Senses and Instinct (100 would be 50). Healing Expertise is locked at 0 regardless of Stat boosts.
• Rank 4: 50% decrease to Senses and Instinct (100 would be 50). Healing Expertise is locked at 0 regardless of Stat boosts.

Types IV: Sensory Types

Sensory Types are those who excel in using their observational and mental skills in order to take stock of the world around them and turn that information into an advantage. Sensory Types promote Senses, Instinct, and Energy Sensory. If any Type refers to “Physical Stats,” it means Speed and Strength, while “Spiritual Stats” refers to Reiatsu Strength and Spiritual Pressure. “Sensory Stats” refers to Senses, Instinct, and Energy Sensory.



Type: Empath

Description: Empaths are those who are particularly attuned to the emotions and feelings of others by being able to feel these things as if they were their own. Empaths in the spiritual world become even more attuned thanks to a surprisingly sharp ability to sense the souls of others, allowing them to become much more aware of everyone and rapidly interpret those feelings to their advantage. However, they work best in individual situations. In a crowd, the rush of feelings and emotions can become overwhelming to those not steeled against it.

Advantage:

• Rank 1: 50% increase to Instinct and Energy Sensory (100 would be 150).
• Rank 2: 75% increase to Instinct and Energy Sensory (100 would be 175). The user may treat their Light/Dark Aura as though they are at 60 around characters whose Class is lower than the user's, allowing them to better understand the intentions of others as well as their motivations.
• Rank 3: Double Instinct and Energy Sensory (100 would be 200). The user may treat their Light/Dark Aura as though they are at 80 around characters whose Class is lower than the user's, allowing them to better understand the intentions of others as well as their motivations.
• Rank 4: 150% increase to Instinct and Energy Sensory (100 would be 250). The user may treat their Light/Dark Aura as though they are at 100 around characters of their Class or lower, allowing them to better understand the intentions of others as well as their motivations. They can also resist most forms of emotional distress.

Disadvantage: Drawback for All Ranks: Decrease one Physical and one Spiritual Stat by 40% (100 would become 60). Those of this Type are more prone to cracking under pressure around multiple people due to how well they receive emotional input from those around them. They become stressed easily in crowds.

Type: Lost Sense

Description: This person has lost one of their senses, but is incredibly advantaged in other ways. These people are often more powerful than they let on. As they gain experience with this Type, they become more and more acute in every other way.

Advantage:

• Rank 1: This Type loses either sight or hearing (selected during pre-approvement). This may seem to be a disadvantage, but the result is that their senses triple to make up for the lack of other senses (triple if blindness is selected {100 would be 300}. It's only double if deafness is selected {100 would be 200}). There's also a secondary thing one can pick with this Type. If you pick to become blind, you're eligible for "semi crippled", which puts you in wheel chair confinement (legs do not work). If you are confined to a chair, Reiatsu Strength and Spiritual Pressure go up by 50% {100 would be 150).
• Rank 2: This Type loses either sight or hearing (selected during pre-approvement). This may seem to be a disadvantage, but the result is that their senses quadruple to make up for the lack of other senses (quadruple if blindness is selected {100 would be 400}. It's only triple if deafness is selected {100 would be 300}). There's also a secondary thing one can pick with this Type. If you pick to become blind, you're eligible for "semi crippled", which puts you in wheel chair confinement (legs do not work). If you are confined to a chair, Reiatsu Strength and Spiritual Pressure double (100 would be 200).
• Rank 3: This Type loses either sight or hearing (selected during pre-approvement). This may seem to be a disadvantage, but the result is that their senses quintuple to make up for the lack of other senses (quintuple if blindness is selected {100 would be 500}. It's only triple if deafness is selected {100 would be 300}). There's also a secondary thing one can pick with this Type. If you pick to become blind, you're eligible for "semi crippled", which puts you in wheel chair confinement (legs do not work). If you are confined to a chair, Reiatsu Strength and Spiritual Pressure double (100 would be 200).
• Rank 4: This Type loses either sight or hearing (selected during pre-approvement). This may seem to be a disadvantage, but the result is that their senses increase by 500% to make up for the lack of other senses (500% if blindness is selected {100 would be 600}. It's only 400% if deafness is selected {100 would be 500}). There's also a secondary thing one can pick with this Type. If you pick to become blind, you're eligible for "semi crippled", which puts you in wheel chair confinement (legs do not work). If you are confined to a chair, Reiatsu Strength and Spiritual Pressure double (100 would be 200).

Disadvantage: Physical combat is impossible if the wheel chair is selected. Secondary wheel chair disadvantage is that this person loses their ability to move quickly and use stepping techniques. Blindness or deafness are disadvantages already.

Type: Strategist

Description: A thinker. This is someone that is generally more aware, has more intellect and planning ability than others, and is quite intelligent and adaptive. Quite a few of them are good in battle, but most of them tend to stay on the sidelines. Well-paid generals are usually this Type. As this person goes up in Rank, they spend less time on the battlefield and more time planning, which may dull their Senses.

Advantage:

• Rank 1: 50% increase to all Sensory Stats (100 would be 150).
• Rank 2: Double all Sensory Stats (100 would be 200).
• Rank 3: Triple all Sensory Stats (100 would be 300).
• Rank 4: 350% increase to all Sensory Stats (100 would be 450).

Disadvantage:

• Rank 1: 25% decrease to Physical Stats (100 would become 75).
• Rank 2: 25% decrease to Physical Stats (100 would become 75).
• Rank 3: 40% decrease to one Physical Stat and 25% decrease to the other (100 would become 60/75).
• Rank 4: 45% decrease to one Physical Stat and 30% decrease to the other (100 would become 55/70).

Types V: Mixed/Choice Types

Where the previous Types had specific categories they focused on, the following Types are hard to pin down to one specific area in which they excel. This is due to working on advancing multiple categories of stats either by choice or by design. If any Type refers to “Physical Stats,” it means Speed and Strength, while “Spiritual Stats” refers to Reiatsu Strength and Spiritual Pressure. “Sensory Stats” refers to Senses, Instinct, and Energy Sensory.



Type: Cunning

Description: This is someone who fights people in a clever, indirect way. People of this Type are better at reading situations and individuals and possess powerful spiritual powers. However, as a downside, they do not cultivate their physical prowess as much, and in focusing into one of their spiritual capabilities, they lose some potency in the other area.

Advantages:

• Rank 1: Increase Energy Sensory or Instinct by 50% (100 would be 150). Increase Reiatsu Strength or Spiritual Pressure by 25% (100 would be 125). Gain 1 free point in Analyzing that doesn't count towards your SkP total.
• Rank 2: Increase Energy Sensory or Instinct by 75% (100 would be 175). Increase Reiatsu Strength or Spiritual Pressure by 50% (100 would be 150). Gain 2 free points in Analyzing that don't count towards your SkP total.
• Rank 3: Double Energy Sensory or Instinct (100 would be 200). Double Reiatsu Strength or Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 200). Gain 3 free points in Analyzing that don't count towards your SkP total.
• Rank 4: Increase Energy Sensory or Instinct by 150% (100 would be 250). Double Reiatsu Strength or Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 200). Gain 3 free points in Analyzing that don't count towards your SkP total.

Disadvantages: All Ranks: A maximum of only 6 Skill Points can be spent on "Battle" and "Body" skills, with the exception of Battle Analysis and War Strategy.

• Rank 1: 25% decrease to 1 Physical and the non-increased Spiritual Stat (100 would be 75).
• Rank 2: 40% decrease to 1 Physical and the non-increased Spiritual Stat (100 would be 70).
• Rank 3 & 4: 50% decrease to 1 Physical and the non-increased Spiritual Stat (100 would be 50).

Type: Fighter Version 2

Description: Fighters are people that have given up most Reiatsu-based powers. They focus solely on their own ability to fight and their 'weapons'. From the beginning, Shinigami cast aside Kidō and Arrancar would do the same with Cero, Bala, and other techniques. Movement abilities, such as Shunpo, are not affected. They are only able to fight using weapons strictly meant for them. Zanpakutō are spiritually connected with their wielder. Arrancar Zanpakutō are a sealed state of their true being. Quincy have their bows and Bounts have their Dolls. They are much stronger mentally and love fighting. Vizard are affected by not being able to use Kidō, but they still can use their Vizard-based Reiatsu abilities like Vizard Cero and Vizard Mask. This does NOT lock out Reiatsu-based Releases, merely non-Release abilities that manipulate Reiatsu.

Advantage: Advantage to All Ranks: Each level of Release gains an additional technique. That means that a Shinigami would receive one additional technique for Shikai and one for Bankai. Arrancar get an additional technique for Primera Etapa and, if they have it, Segunda Etapa. Bounts gain an additional technique per Doll. Akki gain an additional technique for each level of Saisei Oni. Nakabakki gain an additional technique for each level of Saisei Oni, as well as the bonus to the Release granted by their non-Akki parent. Rogues, Hollows, Quincy, Mod Souls, Hason, Fullbringers, and Failures do not receive any additional abilities.

• Rank 1: 35% increase to one Physical Stat and one Spiritual Stat (100 would be 135). It takes 50% more Spiritual Pressure than normal for a Fighter to suffer cutback (instead of 150 Spiritual Pressure disadvantage causing cutback, it would require a 225 Spiritual Pressure difference).
• Rank 2: 50% increase to one Physical Stat and one Spiritual Stat (100 would be 150). It takes 50% more Spiritual Pressure than normal for a Fighter to suffer cutback (instead of 150 Spiritual Pressure disadvantage causing cutback, it would require a 225 Spiritual Pressure difference).
• Rank 3: 75% increase to one Physical Stat and one Spiritual Stat (100 would be 175). It takes double the Spiritual Pressure than normal for a Fighter to suffer cutback (instead of 150 Spiritual Pressure disadvantage causing cutback, it would require a 300 Spiritual Pressure difference).
• Rank 4: Double one Physical Stat and one Spiritual Stat (100 would be 200). It takes triple the Spiritual Pressure than normal for a Fighter to suffer cutback (instead of 150 Spiritual Pressure disadvantage causing cutback, it would require a 450 Spiritual Pressure difference).

Disadvantage: 25% decrease to the Physical and Spiritual Stats that were not increased (if Strength and Reiatsu Strength were increased, then Speed and Spiritual Pressure will be decreased. 100 would be 75). Reiatsu-based abilities are lost: Kidō, Cero, Bala, etc. Fullbringers can use their racial basic Soul Command, but no techniques that expand upon it. Fighters are unable to make non-martial or non-weapon techniques. Characters with this Type are limited to a 0 in Healing Expertise and a 50 in Energy Sensory.

Race Restrictions: Available to all Races except Beast-Clansmen

Initial Weapons: Can start with two, though this is optional. A Shinigami of this Type can develop two different Shikai with different abilities that merge together in Bankai, while a Bount can start with two Dolls instead of one, and end with a total of four Dolls. Note that these Releases share Release technique slots, so techniques are spread thinner among more weapons. Only Shinigami and Bounts can get this bonus.

Type: Freak

Description: This is someone that freaks everyone out. Not only is this one's personality socially disabled and easily misunderstood or hated, but it's someone with powers that are completely unbalanced. The weakness could completely compromise the person's strengths, but the strengths could also overrule the weakness. This person is in black and white, either a pushover to someone or a god to another. This person is scary no matter what happens, or even just creepy, insane, terrifying, and can never truly be part of any society.

Advantage:

• Rank 1: 25% increase to Strength, Reiatsu Strength, and Energy Sensory (100 would be 125).
• Rank 2: 50% increase to Strength, Reiatsu Strength, and Energy Sensory (100 would be 150).
• Rank 3: 125% increase to either Strength or Reiatsu Strength (100 would be 225). Double the other (100 would be 200). Increase Energy Sensory by 75% (100 would be 175).
• Rank 4: 175% increase to either Strength or Reiatsu Strength (100 would be 275). Increase the other by 150% (100 would be 250). Increase Energy Sensory by 125% (100 would be 225).

Disadvantage: Drawback for All Ranks: Healing expertise is forever stuck at 0. Release costs 50% more Reiatsu. Personality requirement: Prone to make stupid decisions, take hits, and act like a freak that everyone is afraid of or disrespects. Also prone to crack under intense pressure.

• Rank 1: Decrease Instinct by 25% (100 would be 75). Decrease Spiritual Pressure by 25% (100 would be 75). Senses cannot exceed 150.
• Rank 2: Decrease Instinct by 25% (100 would be 75). Decrease Spiritual Pressure by 25% (100 would be 75). Senses cannot exceed 150.
• Rank 3: Decrease Instinct by 33% (100 would be 67). Decrease Spiritual Pressure by 33% (100 would be 67). Senses cannot exceed 150.
• Rank 4: Decrease Instinct by 33% (100 would be 67). Decrease Spiritual Pressure by 50% (100 would be 50). Senses cannot exceed 150.

Type: Generalist

Description: Generalists are good at a lot of things, and are bad at other things! These people are generally the kind of people who, rather than train extensively for a particular thing, pick up lots of little tricks to help them by in life. They're not the best, but they're also not the worst. They aren't usually the kind of people who strive for the best, enjoying a happy medium instead.

Advantage: Advantage for All Ranks: This type is unaffected by the drawbacks of having high HE. A character who takes this type can forgo making an Overall for their release powers, and can take a different theme for each of their individual techniques. This is optional.

• Rank 1: Choose one Stat; Boost that stat by 25%.
• Rank 2: Choose one Stat; Boost that stat by 50%. Boost another by 25%.
• Rank 3: Choose one Stat; Boost that stat by 75%. Boost another by 50%. Choose one more; Increase it by 25%.
• Rank 4: Choose one Stat; Boost that stat by 100%. Boost another by 75%. Choose one more; increase it by 50%. Increase a fourth one by 25%.

Disadvantage: Drawback for All Ranks: User must have 25 in each stat that you are either boosting or cutting, per rank(100 at rank 4). Stats that have been boosted cannot be cut. Can only choose one stat between He and Es to cut.

• Rank 1: Cut any stat that isn't He or Es by 25%.
• Rank 2: Cut any stat that isn't He or Es by 50%. Cut another that isn't He or Es 25%.
• Rank 3: Cut any two stats by 50%. Cut another by 25%.
• Rank 4: Cut any three stats by 50%. Cut another by 25%.

Description: A genius. Incredibly gifted and powerful. However, as opposed to a prodigy, this is someone that got where they are through effort, not naturally. They do not seem to have much room left for improvement. The only thing that can really happen is this person's stamina improving.

Advantage:

• Rank 3: 150% increase to either Physical Stats or Spiritual Stats (100 would be 250). 150% increase to either Healing Expertise or Energy Sensory (100 would be 250). Allowed to have two more techniques than usual, meaning 22 total instead of 20.
• Rank 4: Triple either Physical Stats or Spiritual Stats (100 would be 300). Triple either Healing Expertise or Energy Sensory (100 would be 300). Allowed to have two more techniques than usual, meaning 22 total instead of 20.

Disadvantage: Drawback for All Ranks: A Genius must put at least 25 points per Rank (up to 100 SP at Rank 4) in the Stat being decreased. Genius Type is only available to Ranks 3 and 4. Beast-Clan is not able to increase Spiritual Stats for Genius Type, and must go with a Physical Genius.

• Rank 3: 33% decrease to one Physical or Spiritual Stat out of whichever one was not increased (100 would be 67). 33% decrease to whichever Stat out of Healing Expertise and Energy Sensory wasn't tripled (100 would be 67). Tires easily. 12 consecutive posts of combat is enough to tire this Type severely. 6 consecutive posts of combat fatigues this Type and requires 2 consecutive posts to rest. Once 6 posts of battle have been exceeded, the user's Primary Offensive Stat is halved, being Strength for Physical Geniuses or Spiritual Pressure for Spiritual Geniuses, as well as current reiatsu (300 Spiritual Pressure and 2000/3000 Reiatsu would be 150 Spiritual Pressure and 1000/3000 Reiatsu). Upon taking the posts to rest, the user's Offensive Stat is restored, but lost reiatsu is still lost.
• Rank 4: 33% decrease to one Physical or Spiritual Stat out of whichever one was not increased (100 would be 67). 33% decrease to whichever Stat out of Healing Expertise and Energy Sensory wasn't tripled (100 would be 67). Tires easily. 14 consecutive posts of combat is enough to tire this Type severely. 8 consecutive posts of combat fatigues this Type and requires 3 consecutive posts to rest. Definition of Combat Post: Any post where the character is involved in a combat sequence or defense-of-combat sequence. In other words, guarding, attacking, charging Reiatsu, and taking action aggressively or counter-aggressively are all combat posts. A non-combat post is simply a post where none of these are in play. A character is virtually doing nothing in said post. Controlling foreign entities, such as a Senbonzakura-style entity, also counts as a combat post.

Type: Lunatic

Description: Someone who is utterly insane and fights in a confusing way, exactly like a lunatic. Has the kind of abilities that totally throws off enemies.

Advantage:

• Rank 1: Triple one Stat by (100 would be 300). Release costs decrease by 50%.
• Rank 2: Quadruple one Stat by (100 would be 400). Release costs decrease by 50%. People treat their Battle Analysis as 1 lower when trying to predict the Lunatic’s battle capabilities and behavior.
• Rank 3: Increase one Stat by 350% (100 would be 450). Release costs decrease by 50%. People treat their Battle Analysis as 2 lower when trying to predict the Lunatic’s battle capabilities and behavior.
• Rank 4: Increase one Stat by 400% (100 would be 500). Release costs decrease by 50%. People treat their Battle Analysis as 3 lower when trying to predict the Lunatic’s battle capabilities and behavior.

Disadvantage:

• Rank 1: Decrease all other Stats by 30% (100 would be 70).
• Rank 2: Decrease all other Stats by 50% (100 would be 50).
• Rank 3: Decrease all other Stats by 60% (100 would be 40).
• Rank 4: Decrease all other Stats by 75% (100 would be 25).

Type: Roughneck

Description: They go by many names. Delinquents, thugs, punks, hard heads, whatever kind of name you give to the prideful, stubborn, son of a bitch that just won't stop beating their head against a wall to get things done. A roughneck is someone set in their ways. They want to do things their way and damned be those who want to tell them otherwise. These are your sort of characters that want to punch their problems away, but what makes them stand out is their incredible ability to stay in a fight. They don't give up.

Advantage:

• Rank 1: 25% to either Strength or Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 125). 50% increase to the other stat (100 would be 150).
• Rank 2: 25% increase to either Strength or Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 125). 75% increase to the other stat (100 would be 175).
• Rank 3: 50% increase to either Strength of Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 150). 100% increase to the other stat (100 would be 200).
• Rank 4: 75% increase to either Strength or Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 175). 125% increase to the other stat (100 would be 225).

Disadvantage: Drawback for All Ranks: Roughnecks cannot acquire Techniques higher than their current Class. Any Techniques that are higher than their current Class are not available until they are the proper Class.

• Rank 1: 30% decrease to one Physical Stat or one Spiritual Stat (100 would be 70). Pick either Senses or Instinct and cut it by 25% (100 would be 75).
• Rank 2: 40% decrease to one Physical Stat or one Spiritual Stat (100 would be 60). Pick either Senses or Instinct and cut it by 25% (100 would be 75).
• Rank 3: 50% decrease to one Physical Stat or one Spiritual Stat (100 would be 50). Either pick the Sensory stat that is reduced by 25% and now reduce it by 50% or pick the other other stat and reduce it by 25%.
• Rank 4: 50% decrease to one Physical Stat or one Spiritual Stat (100 would be 50). Either pick the Sensory stat that is reduced by 25% and now reduce it by 50% or pick the other other stat and reduce it by 25%.

Type: Shadow

Description: Assassins, spies, and saboteurs make up this Type. These people specialize in slipping in unnoticed and carrying out their missions with ease. If confronted directly, they are far from helpless, utilizing their skill with their blades or other weapons to fend off enemies until either victory is won, or they can slip away once more. In the Seireitei, many of these Types are Squad 2 members. Despite their obvious combat advantages, most Shadows work with limited pools of Reiatsu, meaning that they must make every strike count. Prolonged combat tends to wear out Shadows, though not as severely or quickly as Geniuses. Their released weapons and powers are often potent, though this comes at a reduced rate of Release. Though their Spiritual Pressure is relatively low, this is actually a boon to some Shadows, allowing them to slip past enemy sensors and appear weak to foes upon their first meeting. From the start of their lives, they have always lived as quiet, silent folk. Not freakish or strange, but merely a little more shy and prone to enjoying privacy and deception. People who would always try to find ways to physically and metaphorically hide.

Advantage:

• Rank 1: 50% increase to Speed and one Sensory Stat (100 would be 150). 30% increase to either Strength or Reiatsu Strength (100 would be 130).
• Rank 2: Double Speed (100 would be 200). 50% increase to Strength or Reiatsu Strength (100 would be 150). 50% increase to one Sensory Stat (100 would be 150).
• Rank 3: 150% increase to Speed (100 would be 250). 60% increase to Strength or Reiatsu Strength (100 would be 160). 50% increase to one Sensory Stat (100 would be 150).
• Rank 4: Triple Speed (100 would be 300). 80% increase to Strength or Reiatsu Strength (100 would be 180). 50% increase to one Sensory Stat (100 would be 150).

Disadvantage: Drawback for All Ranks: 50% decrease in the Stat that didn’t receive the boost between Strength and Reiatsu Strength (100 would be 50). Spiritual Pressure is reduced by 40% (100 would be 60). Healing Expertise is limited to 50. Reduce the two Sensory Stats that aren’t boosted by Type by 25% (100 would be 75). Release is cut in duration by 3 posts, allowing only 7 posts of Shikai, 7 posts of Bankai, etc. Bount Shadows are limited to 7 posts of release with their Dolls instead of the usual unlimited amount. Mod Soul Shadows, who don’t possess active Releases like Bounts, Shinigami, and Fullbringers, are instead taxed an additional 35% for the techniques that incorporate their powers. Arrancar Shadows do not have a set maximum to Release duration, but simply have their Class-based maximum reduced by 4 (maximum 12 posts at Class 1).

• Rank 1: 4 posts of consecutive combat fatigues this Type. After the actions taken in their last post of combat, BEFORE the opponent’s post, their Speed is cut by 30% (100 would be 70) and their Spiritual Pressure is halved (100 would be 50). Stat boosts applied to Strength, Reiatsu Strength, and the Sensory Stat are voided. In order to recuperate from these Stat losses, a Shadow must rest for 4 posts. Lost Reiatsu is not regained. Maximum is restored.
• Rank 2: 6 posts of consecutive combat fatigues this Type. After the actions taken in their last post of combat, BEFORE the opponent’s post, their Speed is cut by 40% (100 would be 60) and their Spiritual Pressure and remaining Reiatsu are halved (100 would be 50). Stat boosts applied to Strength, Reiatsu Strength, and the Sensory Stat are voided. In order to recuperate from these Stat losses, a Shadow must rest for 3 posts. Lost Reiatsu is not regained. Maximum is restored.
• Rank 3: 8 posts of consecutive combat fatigues this Type. After the actions taken in their last post of combat, BEFORE the opponent’s post, their Speed is cut by 50% (100 would be 50) and their Spiritual Pressure and remaining Reiatsu are halved (100 would be 50). Stat boosts applied to Strength, Reiatsu Strength, and the Sensory Stat are voided. In order to recuperate from these Stat losses, a Shadow must rest for 2 posts. Lost Reiatsu is not regained. • Rank 4: 10 posts of consecutive combat fatigues this Type. Other Requirements: Must have points in Stealth equal to the user's Rank, and must have one point in either a martial arts or weapon category. At Rank 3/4 the second requirement increases to a minimum of two points in either category.

Description: Someone who is well-rounded in most ways, but does have that one flaw. Usually part of a main force. But there are also those that rise above the normal rank and file, and as a result acquire more strength from their combat experiences.

Advantage:

• Rank 1: 50% increase to any one Stat (100 would be 150).
• Rank 2: 75% increase to any one Stat (100 would be 175).
• Rank 3: Double any one Stat (100 would be 200). 25% increase to a second Stat (100 would be 135).
• Rank 4: 150% increase to any one Stat (100 would be 250). 50% increase to a second Stat (100 would be 150).

Disadvantage:

• Rank 1: 30% decrease to one Physical Stat or one Spiritual Stat (100 would be 70).
• Rank 2: 40% decrease to one Physical Stat or one Spiritual Stat (100 would be 60).
• Rank 3: 50% decrease to one Physical Stat or one Spiritual Stat (100 would be 50). 50% decrease to either Senses or Instinct.

Type: Soul Specialist Version 1

Description: This is someone who initially appears weak when sealed. These people specialize in their Release. Sealed, they appear weak, may be childish, etc. However, their Release is rather strong.

Advantage:

• Rank 1: Double either Spiritual or Physical Stats by (100 becomes 200). Increase Release duration by 25%.
• Rank 2: Increase either Spiritual or Physical Stats by 150% (100 becomes 250). Increase Release duration by 50%. Increase a Sensory Stat by 50% (100 becomes 150).
• Rank 3: Triple either Spiritual or Physical Stats by (100 becomes 300). Increase Release duration by 75%. Increase a Sensory Stat by 75% (100 becomes 175).
• Rank 4: Increase either Spiritual or Physical Stats by 250% (100 becomes 350). Double Release duration. Double a Sensory Stat by (100 becomes 200).
• Note: When Spiritual Pressure is restored to full value, current and maximum Reiatsu are both increased accordingly. i.e. if 200 Spiritual Pressure is regained, then 2000 Reiatsu will be added to both current and maximum Reiatsu. This only applies to Spiritual Pressure restored as a part of this Type's mechanic.

Disadvantage:

• Rank 1: When sealed, all Stats are treated as their base SP values and all non-increased Stats are cut by 50% (100 would be 50). When the user Releases, they do not gain full power instantly, but return two Stats to their full values per post. Limit of 3 release durations per stage per Adventure/Quest (can be waived by the DM for especially long threads in the Special Conditions if desired). Once the release ends, stats slowly decrease back to their Sealed values. 1 Stat is sealed at the end of each post.

Note: For Fullbringers, only Primary Fullbring restores stats.

Type: Soul Specialist Version 2

Description: Someone who has focused all of their power into their Release. For this reason, they are extremely weak in their sealed state, but have exceptional power after Releasing. Someone of this Type relies on their Release a lot more then others and is basically useless without it, but they are some of the most fearsome fighters once they have Released.

Advantage:

• All Ranks: All bonuses are granted upon activating Release. Triple Strength during Release (100 would be 300). Arrancar will have their Reiatsu Strength tripled during Release, while all other eligible races will have their Spiritual Pressure tripled during their Release. Able to stay in Release form twice as many posts then normal.
• Note: When Spiritual Pressure is restored to full value, current and maximum Reiatsu are both increased accordingly. i.e. if 200 Spiritual Pressure is regained, then 2000 Reiatsu will be added to both current and maximum Reiatsu. This only applies to Spiritual Pressure restored as a part of this Type's mechanic.

Disadvantage: Drawback for All Ranks: Decrease Stats by 33% (300 would be 200) in sealed form except for Strength, which is reduced by 75% (100 would be 25). Only allowed one Release level. Energy Sensory cannot go above 0. Character must be unable to formulate elaborate plans while in their Released form. NO TACTICIANS. Characters of this Type are insane and are prone to make stupid mistakes in battle such as attacking friends or causing self-injury by mistake.

Race Restrictions: Available to all Races except Beast-Clansmen, Vizard, Mod Souls, Hollows, and Failures.

Type: Support

Description: These are the Types of characters that never directly fight in combat. They have and use abilities that support their allies, changing the tides of battle with merely their presence. They can have abilities that range from healing, to shielding, to buffing an ally's power. However, they are almost useless without an ally to help, as they rely on said ally to defend them when the need arises. They will never be found on the front lines, yet their abilities directly influence the battle.

Advantage:

• Rank 1: 50% increase in any two desired Stats (100 would be 150).
• Rank 2: Double any two desired Stats (100 would be 200).
• Rank 3: Double any two desired Stats (100 would be 200), plus 25% increase to one more (100 would be 125).
• Rank 4: Double any two desired Stats (100 would be 200), plus 50% increase to one more (100 would be 150).

Disadvantage: Release cannot be combat-based and must consist mainly of support moves. Support Types cannot possess more than one direct offensive ability in Release, with the exception of Mod Soul Gigas and Nakabakki, which gain one for each of their two ability sets. Support types will have one Physical or Spiritual Stat decreased by 50% (100 would be 50). Senses or Instinct is decreased by 50% (100 would be 50). Increases from Advantages cannot be made to any Stats that have been cut by Disadvantages.

Types VI: Special Types

These Types are special ones that have very specific requirements like age, former Type requirements, or unusual Stat categories that make them unlike many of the others. If any Type refers to “Physical Stats,” it means Speed and Strength, while “Spiritual Stats” refers to Reiatsu Strength and Spiritual Pressure. “Sensory Stats” refers to Senses, Instinct, and Energy Sensory.



Type: Aged

Description: At the final phase of one's life, they becomes utterly ancient. At this age, they should have a physical appearance of 70-140, and age should exceed 1700-2000. These people, through their countless experiences, have become incredibly powerful.

Advantage:

• Rank 3: Double two stats among Strength, Speed, Reiatsu Strength, and Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 200). Double Energy Sensory (100 would be 200).
• Rank 4: Triple two stats among Strength, Speed, Reiatsu Strength, and Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 300). Triple Energy Sensory (100 would be 300).

Disadvantage: Drawback to All Ranks: Aged individuals, despite their capability, are quite brittle. While they're quite skilled at dishing out damage, they struggle to take it back in turn. Their stats are treated as 50% lower (after type) for the purpose of calculating damage against them and their defensive techniques. 50% decrease to Senses (100 would be 50). To be this Type, the user must be completely blind. Available only to Ranks 3 and 4.

Type: Entrepreneur

Description: Entrepreneurs are those who reach for the stars, for fame more so then power. This is the person you would see plastered over many billboards, shown on many commercials, or just very well known for being top in their business career. They understand the value of money, they have an even greater ability to earn it. Beating out most of their competition with their ruthlessness and cunning, wowing future investors with their charisma and hunger to do more. These are the people who aim to improve the present and head it towards the future. While some of these were people born with a silver spoon in their mouth, some were born in the streets and fighting their way to the top.

Advantages: Advantages For All Ranks: Characters can hold twice as much Ryo as their maximums would normally allow. Double the amount of Ryo earned from every thread that would grant Ryo as a reward (this does not include a character's starting Ryo).

• Rank 1: Increase one Sensory stat by 25% (100 would be 125). Gain 1 free point in Charisma that doesn't count toward your SkP Total.
• Rank 2: Increase one Sensory stat by 50% (100 would be 150). Gain 2 free points in Charisma that doesn't count toward your SkP Total.
• Rank 3: Increase one Sensory stat by 75% (100 would be 175). Gain 3 free points in Charisma that doesn't count toward your SkP Total.
• Rank 4: Increase one Sensory stat by 100% (100 would be 200). Gain 3 free points in Charisma that doesn't count toward your SkP Total.

Disadvantages: Disadvantages For All Ranks: Release costs double to activate.

• Rank 1: 25% decrease to Strength or Reiatsu Strength (100 would be 75).
• Rank 2: 25% decrease to Strength or Reiatsu Strength (100 would be 75).
• Rank 3: 50% decrease to Strength or Reiatsu Strength (100 would be 50).
• Rank 4: 50% decrease to Strength or Reiatsu Strength (100 would be 50).

Race Restrictions: Available to all Races except Hollows and Bount.

Type: Exception

Description: These people are usually the most powerful among a group. The exceptions to rules that previously governed everyone else. They're unbelievably strong, and usually end up being extreme villain types that need to be overcome by an overpowered but sudden increase in power. These guys are massively strong.

Advantage: Advantage for All Ranks: Triple two stats (100 would become 300).

Disadvantage: Drawback for All Ranks: Locked to 15 SkP. Non-release technique slots are also halved. An Exception can opt into reducing a non-boosted stat by 50% in order to instead Quadruple one of the boosted stats (100 becomes 50, 100 becomes 400, respectively). This Type is not available to RPCs. If you're a Dungeon Master in a thread and need a plot-related, temporarily overpowered enemy to give your participants, you can use this Type. Only one NPC per thread can have this. No long term plot-based NPC can use this.

Type: Experienced

Description: An older person, one that has finally reached a level of power and a maturity that truly earns them the title of "respectable." These characters must be calm, wise, and dignified, rather than hyper or rash like those of the younger generation. Generally, these people appear to be between 45-65, and for Shinigami, their actual age tends to be 800-1300 years.

Advantage:

• Rank 3: Advantages for All Races: Double one Physical and one Spiritual Stat (100 would be 200). Step technique speed is increased by x3 (10x would be 13x), though costs remain the same.
  
  Races With Release Techniques: Gain two additional release techniques as a part of the user’s lowest stage of release. (Shikai for Shinigami, Primera Etapa for Akki, Nakabakki, and Arrancar, and Infernus for Hason. Only one Bount Doll gets these extra techniques.)
  
  Races With Property-Based Releases: Gain one additional property for the user’s lowest stage of release. (Fullbringers get an additional Property for Fullbring Level One, Quincy get an additional Class 4 Property (Form, Firing, or Power), Saika get an additional Dark Skill Level 1, Rogues get an additional Class 4 power, and Mod Souls get an additional Level 4 Ability.)
• Rank 4: Advantages for All Races: Triple one Physical and one Spiritual Stat (100 would be 300). Gain 5 additional non-Release technique slots. Step technique speed is increased by x5 (10x would be 15x), though costs remain the same.
  
  Races With Release Techniques: Gain two additional release techniques as a part of the user’s lowest stage of release. (Shikai for Shinigami, Primera Etapa for Akki, Nakabakki, and Arrancar, and Infernus for Hason. Only one Bount Doll gets these extra techniques.) One additional release technique is also gained as a part of the user’s highest stage of release. (Bankai for Shinigami, Segunda Etapa for Arrancar and Nakabakki, Quarta/Quinta for Akki, and Supremus for Hason. The same Bount Doll can gain this additional technique, or one other Doll can gain this technique.)
  
  Races With Property-Based Releases: Gain one additional property for the user’s lowest stage of release. (Fullbringers get an additional Property for Fullbring Level One, Quincy get an additional Class 4 Property (Form, Firing, or Power), Saika get an additional Dark Skill Level 1, Rogues get an additional Class 4 power, and Mod Souls get an additional Level 4 Ability.) One additional property is also gained as a part of the user’s highest stage of release. (Fullbringers get an additional Property for their Fullbring Level Two, Quincy get an additional Class 2 Property (everything except Soul Property), Saika get an additional Dark Skill Level 2, Rogues get an additional Class 2 power, and Mod Souls get an additional Level 6 Ability.)
  

Disadvantage: Drawback for All Ranks: 50% decrease in Instinct, Energy Sensory, or Senses (100 would be 50). 50% decrease to Strength or Speed (whichever one wasn't increased. 100 would be 50). All Releases are increased in cost by 50%. Only 3 and 4 can pick this Type. This Type has a special "fatigue." Instead of fatiguing continuously with combat, this Type has "breakdown fatigue." Once combat is initiated, it begins until there is a minimum of four posts of consecutive resting and non-combat. If 4 posts of resting are met fatigue resets. Drawbacks for fatigue are done in groups of 5.

• 5 posts - Fatigued, greatly drained of stamina and energy. Movement becomes much, much harder. Increased step speed can only be used twice a post.
• 10 posts - One stat increase, chosen by the player, is lost. If Spiritual Pressure is chosen, current and maximum reiatsu are reduced to the new reiatsu maximum limit. (I.E. if SPPR is 600 with 4,500 reiatsu remaining; upon the 10th post the stat becomes 300 and the maximum reduces to 3,000 reiatsu.) Fatigue is huge now. Can no longer continue to fight at fullest. Increased step speed can only be used once every post.
• 15 posts - Alternate stat increase is lost. If Spiritual Pressure is chosen, current and maximum reiatsu are reduced to the new reiatsu maximum limit. (I.E. if SPPR is 600 with 4,500 reiatsu remaining; upon the 10th post the stat becomes 300 and the maximum reduces to 3,000 reiatsu.) Fatigue is massive. Movement becomes ridiculously difficult. Increased step speed is lost.
• 20 posts - Body begins to break down. Bones are more brittle, so they begin to wear, crack, and snap. Things can break more easily as the body begins to knot up and immobilize itself.
• 25 posts and beyond - Body gradually begins to shut down in movement and function, and can no longer work for physical movement or combat.

Race Restrictions: Available to All Races except Beast-Clansmen, Hollows, and Failures.

Type: Gadgeteer

Description: These are the people who are always fiddling with something, tinkering with a new toy, and splurging all of their money on the latest gadgets. You'll never see these people without an item in hand for any situation and they seem to be better at using them than everyone else. They are such frequent customers at Urahara's Shop that they get the VIP treatment and receive a discount on all purchased items. On the other hand, they tend to be reliant on items since they cannot match up to the raw power of others without them.

Advantage: At all Ranks, anyone with this Type can pay Reiatsu to increase the IP value of their items. To use this ability for one post, the cost per post starts at 50 Reiatsu for a Class 7 item and increases by 25 per Class. It costs 75 Reiatsu to power up a Class 6 item, 100 for Class 5, etc. The boost varies with Rank. As Item Power is not a Stat, this does not count as a Stat boost.

Rank 1: Can use items one Class greater than their own and items cost 20% less. +20% IP to boosted item. This applies to a single, non-consumable item at a time, or a stack of consumables.
Rank 2: Can use items two Classes greater than their own and items cost 30% less. +30% IP to boosted item. This can be applied to two non-consumable items at a time, or two stacks of consumables. Any combination of the two.
Rank 3: Can use items two Classes greater than their own and items cost 40% less. +40% IP to boosted item. This can be applied to two non-consumable items at a time, or two stacks of consumables. Any combination of the two.]
Rank 4: Can use items two Classes greater than their own and items cost 50% less. +50% IP to boosted item. This can be applied to three non-consumable items at a time, or three stacks of consumables. Any combination of the three.



Disadvantage: At all Ranks, learning techniques is much harder. If you attempt to learn a technique and the disadvantage would push it beyond Class 0, add an additional 50 TTP to the cost each time. Reiatsu recovery abilities for Gadgeteers recover 25% less reiatsu. Arrancar do not get infinite reiatsu when released.
Rank 1: Learning non-Release techniques is harder and costs as much as if it were one Class higher.
Rank 2: Learning non-Release techniques is harder and costs as much as if it were two Classes higher.

Type: Leader

Description: These people are charismatic or dominating speakers with brilliant intellectual thinking. They know how to win people to their cause, organize them, and lead. They can take control and often start as a small fry that later becomes successful through hard work and their ability to rise.

Advantage: Advantage for All Ranks: 150% increase to one Stat (100 would be 250) and double another (100 would be 200).

Disadvantage: Drawback for All Ranks: 50% decrease to one Physical or Spiritual Stat that was not increased (100 would be 50). 50% decrease to any Stat except Energy Sensory or Healing Expertise, or, as long as the decreased one is not increased already. Must be Rank 4 and within the top three members of a group or organization. For custom organizations, only those in head positions with numerous subordinates can take this Type.

Special Requirements: One can switch to this Type after reaching the desired Rank. However, to do so, they must have had a specific Type. One cannot switch into Leader Type from Freak, Lunatic, Berserker, Aged, Non-Typed, Fighter of either Type, or Soul Specialist of either Type.

Type: Medic

Description: The healers of the wounded. These guys go out to the front lines and have the strenuous job of healing half-dead people. Most Squad Four members are of this Type.

Advantage:

• Ranks 1 and 2: Triple Healing Expertise (100 would be 300) and 50% increase to Senses and Instinct (100 would be 150) to help with healing.
• Rank 3: Quadruple Healing Expertise (100 would be 400) and 50% increase to Senses and Instinct (100 would be 150) to help with healing.
• Rank 4: 400% increase to Healing Expertise (100 would be 500) and double Senses and Instinct (100 would be 200) to help with healing.

Disadvantage: Drawback for All Ranks: They are terrible at combat and have halved Physical Stats (100 would be 50). They are not allowed to have a combat-type Release. Only a healing-based Release is allowed. However, their healing Release can have ONE offensive property or technique. "Offensive" means "Combat Capable," which includes techniques that could be described as "defensive". The entire Release needs to be based around healing, with one allowed exception to that. Medics are not fighters, nor are they defenders.

Type: Skilled

Description: Skilled Types are those who are inherently advanced in the mind. They are able to understand and master concepts and apply them soon after. These concepts can range from ceramics to swordplay. Typically, they were better in school and are able to integrate into social systems. However, key components of the individual's ability or physical aptitude are sacrificed in order to achieve this masterful "jack of all trades" figure.

Advantage: Advantage for All Ranks: Gain 1 extra SkP per Class starting at Class 4. By Class 0, five extra SkP are gained. Can earn through threads an additional 10 SkP rather than just six. Total at +15 extra SkP. Instead of a final 25 possible, 40 are possible. Can have as many skills with a "4" as desired. If changed from this Type, SkP must be re-allocated among current Skills to account for the lost SkP. Any SkP beyond cap is lost instantly.

• Rank 1: Gain 1 new SkP every 6 threads instead of 8. Increase one Sensory stat by 25% (100 would be 125)
• Rank 2: Gain 1 new SkP every 4 threads instead of 8. Increase one Sensory stat by 50% (100 would be 150)
• Rank 3: Gain 1 new SkP every 4 threads instead of 8. Select any one Skill. The SkP put into that Skill counts as double its value. This means 1 will count as 2, and 2 will count as 4, but will still only take up 1 or 2 SkP, respectively. Cannot use 3 or 4 on the doubled Skill. Increase one Sensory stat by 75% (100 would be 175)
• Rank 4: Gain 1 new SkP every 3 threads instead of 8. Select any two Skills. The SkP put into those Skills counts as double its value. This means 1 will count as 2, and 2 will count as 4, but will still only take up 1 or 2 SkP respectively. Cannot use 3 or 4 on the doubled Skills. Increase one Sensory stat by 100% (100 would be 200)

Disadvantage: Drawback for All Ranks: In addition to the techniques lost per Rank, lose an additional two more. Release loses 2 technique slots. This means Shikai/Bankai only have four total techniques to distribute between the levels, Resurrección has only two for Primera Etapa and one for Segunda Etapa. Fullbringers who use this Type lose access to Willpower and Output. Quincy who use it cannot use Gintō, and Reiatsu taken in by the Quincy Cross is halved. Mod Souls cannot use Output or Willpower. Bounts can only have two Dolls with up to 8 techniques between them. Vizard are stuck to Shinigami restrictions.

• Rank 1: Lose two technique slots for non-Release techniques.

Type: Struggler

Description: Strugglers are individuals who have been abandoned by the graces of fate. These are people who have been cast onto the border between light and darkness. These are those who have been branded with a curse. These curses are unnatural in nature, incapable of being explained by rational science. A curse is not some sort of physical deformity, such as a lazy eye or missing an arm, but rather some sort of supernatural occurrence that thrusts the individual into a life of hardship. Many Strugglers live short lives incapable of tolerating their hardships. Many take their own life or fall to their curse. However, those that struggle on grow into mighty beings with wills of steel. These characters face their troubles with weapon in hand, pushing forward.

Advantage:

• Rank 1: 50% Increase to one Physical or Spiritual Stat (100 would be 150). 30% increase to an opposite Stat (if Strength was chosen, boost either Reiatsu Strength or Spiritual Pressure and vice versa. 100 would be 130).
• Rank 2: Double one Physical or Spiritual Stat (100 would be 200). 50% increase to an opposite Stat (if Strength was chosen, boost either Reiatsu Strength or Spiritual Pressure and vice versa. 100 would be 150).
• Rank 3: 150% Increase to one Physical or Spiritual Stat(100 would be 250). 50% increase to an opposite Stat (if Strength was chosen, boost either Reiatsu Strength or Spiritual Pressure and vice versa. 100 would be 150).
• Rank 4: Triple one Physical or Spiritual Stat (100 would be 300). 75% increase to an opposite Stat (if Strength was chosen, boost either Reiatsu Strength or Spiritual Pressure and vice versa. 100 would be 175).

Disadvantage: Drawback for All Ranks: Any character that takes this Type must create a Curse called Osen. This may differentiate between each character, but its name and overall effect must be the same. Osen causes misery, mayhem, and hardship onto its owner. It is a Curse, not a technique any character can control. Osen can be anything; causing someone to turn to stone at midnight, being incapable of drinking water, causing skin to become burnt in the sunlight. As the character both Classes- and Ranks-up with this Type, the Osen will also become stronger. This takes up one Technique slot for the character. No weaponization of the Osen is possible. It cannot be transferred in any way. The Osen supersedes all other techniques, including Releases. It is not possible to be worked around.

• Rank 1: 30% decrease to one of the Stats that did not receive the boost (100 would be 70). Reduce two Sensory Stats by 25% (100 would be 75). Must have at least 1 point in Strength of Will.
• Rank 2: 40% decrease to one of the Stats that did not receive the boost (100 would be 60). Reduce two Sensory Stats by 25% (100 would be 75). Must have at least 2 points in Strength of Will.
• Rank 3: 50% decrease to one of the Stats that did not receive the boost (100 would be 50). Reduce two Sensory Stats by 30% (100 would be 70). Must have at least 2 points in Strength of Will.
• Rank 4: 50% decrease to one of the Stats that did not receive the boost (100 would be 50). Reduce two Sensory Stats by 40% (100 would be 60). Must have at least 3 points in Strength of Will.

Types VII: Limited Types

These Types can come from several sections, but they have one primary defining characteristic: There is a limit to how many characters may possess this Type at once. These will be listed along with characters who currently possess this Type. If any Type refers to “Physical Stats,” it means Speed and Strength, while “Spiritual Stats” refers to Reiatsu Strength and Spiritual Pressure. “Sensory Stats” refers to Senses, Instinct, and Energy Sensory.



Type: Fractured

Description: Those who are defined as Fractured possess an unusually strong spirit, strong enough that it cannot be easily contained in a single body. As a result, the user's soul is split into two portions; one that exists within the body, and one that forms a separate spiritual body outside of the original. The original tends to be protective of their split self for multiple reasons. The companion holds the power of the owner's Release as well as a large portion of the original's soul and spiritual energy. However, this separation also causes the split to, over time, develop a personality and emotional pattern all of their own. This gives many the impression of two separate, yet inseparable, beings that work together in a strange symbiosis. This is especially apparent during Release when the two portions of the soul become one once more, forming a single being until the effects end.

For Shinigami, this split often manifests in the form of their Zanpakutō spirit's true form while it tends to take on a humanoid figure similar to a child in appearance in Arrancar. Fullbringers find their souls developing into an animal form that represents their spirit, such as a bird for those who are more free-spirited. Even Vizard can manifest their Zanpakutō, though the one behind it is often their Inner Hollow, frequently giving them more of a monstrous counterpart than that of a normal Shinigami's.

Advantage: Advantage for All Ranks: Upon assuming this Type, the user can choose the form that their split soul's appearance takes on based on the criteria above. This spirit is able to fight alongside the user, possessing its own SP pool equal to half of the user's total SP before Type. This SP is assigned to any Stats besides Spiritual Pressure, but all Stats are limited to a cap of 300 SP before Type. Type bonuses and penalties apply to the spirit just as they do to the user. Spiritual Pressure is determined by taking half of the user's Spiritual Pressure after Type, locking the spirit's Spiritual Pressure at this value (if the user has 600 Spiritual Pressure after Type, then the spirit will possess 300 Spiritual Pressure). This value can only be changed as a result of CIUs to shuffle Stats or via techniques that project one's spirit into a manifested form. The latter will alter a spirit's Stats according to the technique (Spiritual Projection, for example, states that the spirit has the same Stats as the user), but projection techniques used by the Fractured Type can only last a maximum of five posts before needing to be refreshed, regardless of greater maximum duration normally. This is due to the natural instability of a separated soul. This spirit also possesses its own Reiatsu pool based on its Spiritual Pressure, and can use any techniques that the user possesses as long as it meets the requirements.

• Rank 1: 50% increase to either Spiritual Pressure or Reiatsu Strength (100 would be 150). 35% increase to either one Physical Stat or one Sensory Stat (100 would be 135).
• Rank 2: 75% increase to either Spiritual Pressure or Reiatsu Strength (100 would be 175). 50% increase to either one Physical Stat or one Sensory Stat (100 would be 150).
• Rank 3: Double either Spiritual Pressure or Reiatsu Strength (100 would be 200). 75% increase to either one Physical Stat or one Sensory Stat (100 would be 175).
• Rank 4: Double either Spiritual Pressure or Reiatsu Strength (100 would be 200). Double either one Physical Stat or one Sensory Stat (100 would be 200).

Disadvantage: Drawback for All Ranks: For a split to even occur in the first place, the user must have a very strong IC history or a series of IC threads that build up to the point of the split. Upon the split, one non-Release technique slot is immediately taken up by the companion. Additionally, the user has their maximum Reiatsu halved as long as they are separate from their other half (1000 would be 500). During Release, maximum Reiatsu is restored, and any Reiatsu that the companion had upon activation is added to the user's current amount. Upon separation due to Release's end, Reiatsu is split evenly between the two. If the companion is incapacitated to the point of being unable to participate in battle, Release cannot be used. If the companion is injured at the point of Release, then injuries are carried over to the user and remain there even at the termination of Release. Finally, if the companion is killed, then the user is unable to use their Release without a significant rest period (NDE) or two completed threads aside from the one in which the companion was killed (DE).

Additionally, the two individuals must possess distinct and unique personalities, as they often develop their own nature as time goes on. The companion is often very aware of their status as a portion of something bigger, rather than a whole, and this tends to affect their personality. As the companion has their own personality and their own ideals, which may contrast with the user's own, they may refuse to aid their other half in certain situations. Finally, there is a maximum of five characters with this Type at a time.

• Rank 1: 30% decrease to the Spiritual Stat that wasn’t increased (100 would be 70). 25% decrease to either one Physical or one Sensory Stat that was not increased of the same type as the one that was increased (100 would be 75).
• Rank 2: 40% decrease to the Spiritual Stat that wasn’t increased (100 would be 60). 30% decrease to either one Physical or one Sensory Stat that was not increased of the same type as the one that was increased (100 would be 70).

• Rank 4: 50% decrease to the Spiritual Stat that wasn’t increased (100 would be 50). 50% decrease to either one Physical or one Sensory Stat that was not increased of the same type as the one that was increased (100 would be 50).

Race Restrictions: Available only to Shinigami, Vizard, Arrancar, and Fullbringers. Only five Fractured Types may exist at a single time.

Type: Kenpachi

Description: This is someone who is so powerful that their soul prevents the formation of a Release and denies them fine Reiatsu control in exchange for immense power. They are rare, and there are few of them scattered throughout the Three Worlds.

Advantage:

• Rank 1: Increase Physical Stats by 75% (100 would be 175). Choose either Spiritual Pressure or Reiatsu Strength and increase it by 50% (100 would be 150). All Stats increased this way get 50 SP added to them before Type bonus. This may go beyond the normal Stat cap.
• Rank 2: Increase Physical Stats by 125% (100 would be 225). Choose either Spiritual Pressure or Reiatsu Strength and increase that by 75% (100 would be 175). All Stats increased this way get 100 SP added to them before Type bonus. This may go beyond the normal Stat cap.
• Rank 3: Increase Physical Stats by 175% (100 would be 275). Choose either Spiritual Pressure or Reiatsu Strength and double it (100 would be 200). All Stats increased this way get 100 SP added to them before Type bonus. This may go beyond the normal Stat cap.
• Rank 4: Triple Physical Stats (100would be 300). Choose either Spiritual Pressure or Reiatsu Strength and increase that by 150% (100 would be 250). All Stats increased this way get 200 SP added to them before Type bonus. This may go beyond the normal Stat cap.

Disadvantage: Drawback for All Ranks: No Release. Shinigami of this Type can never become Vizard. No fine Reiatsu control, which means no Kidō, Vampire Techs, Gate, or anything barred by Fighter Type, as well as other techniques that could require precision and control. Additionally, the Kenpachi suffers fatigue, much like a Genius Type, although several things about it are different. They can suppress this fatigue by limiting their Stats, and the fatigue reduces all boosted Stats. They do not regain stamina with rest posts. However, Kenpachi do get an "overall power" which is unique to each one, using their raw energy in combat. This is generally pure force or power, as Kenpachi lack fine control, meaning that these attacks are as rough and powerful as the user's spiritual power. When Spiritual Pressure is held back, the user's maximum Reiatsu is decreased as normal and the current cannot be higher than this new maximum. However, when the Kenpachi goes all-out, they regain all Reiatsu they lost above the lowered maximum. For example, if a Kenpachi was at 6500/8000 and dropped down to 6000/6000, they'd regain the 500 Reiatsu they lost from holding back.

• Rank 1: They must hold back at 350 in all increased Stats if they don’t wish to fatigue themselves. They have 3 posts at full strength before all increased Stats are reduced by 20% (100 would be 80), and another 3 posts before all increased Stats are reduced by 50% (100 would be 50). After 9 posts at full strength, they cannot continue fighting. Their body just falls apart.
• Rank 2: They must hold back at 500 in all increased Stats if they don’t wish to fatigue themselves. They have 4 posts at full strength before all increased Stats are reduced by 20% (100 would be 80), and another 4 posts before all increased Stats are reduced by 50% (100 would be 50). After 12 posts at full strength, they cannot continue fighting. Their body just falls apart.
• Rank 3: They must hold back at 650 in all increased Stats if they don’t wish to fatigue themselves. They have 5 posts at full strength before all increased Stats are reduced by 20% (100 would be 80), and another 5 posts before all increased Stats are reduced by 50% (100 would be 50). After 15 posts at full strength, they cannot continue fighting. Their body just falls apart.
• Rank 4: They must hold back at 700 in all increased Stats if they don’t wish to fatigue themselves. They have 6 posts at full strength before all increased Stats are reduced by 20% (100 would be 80), and another 6 posts before all increased Stats are reduced by 50% (100 would be 50). After 18 posts at full strength, they cannot continue fighting. Their body just falls apart.

Race Restrictions: Available only to Fullbringers, Bount, Shinigami, and Saika. There can be a maximum of five Kenpachi at a time.

Type: Perma-Release

Description: This type is similar to the Soul Specialist in that the individual focuses most of their power into their Release. Unlike the Soul Specialists, though, this manifestation of power represents itself in a permanent Release. This direct focus on their Release makes it difficult to learn and master many techniques. In exchange, their spiritual weapon tends to be more potent than others of its level.

Advantage: Advantage for All Ranks: The individual possessing this Type is always in their first stage of Release or simply pays no Reiatsu to enter their first stage of Release. This means that they can start a battle already in their first stage, or simply enter it whenever they want. This comes with all the normal advantages of being Released. First stage also refers to only the Primary Fullbring.

• Rank 1: 50% increase to Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 150).
• Rank 2: Double Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 200). The Class of all Releases is increased by 1 up to a maximum of Class 1.
• Rank 3: 150% boost to Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 250). The Class of all Releases is increased by 2 up to a maximum of Class 1.
• Rank 4: Triple Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 300). The Class of all Releases is increased by 3 up to a maximum of Class 1.

Disadvantage: This Type must spend 50% extra TTP to learn any extra techniques outside of their Release. This Type is limited on what techniques it can actually learn. For Shinigami, all Kidō techniques that are Class 2 or higher are unable to be learned. Fullbringers of this Type can learn Willpower, but cannot learn the “Gate” portion of it. For both, a character is limited to a maximum of ten non-Release techniques. This applies to ALL non-Release techniques except for the racial step technique that does not take a slot. Concealing Reiatsu is impossible for those who possess this Type due to their innate inability to contain the massive amount of Reiatsu they expel. Shinigami Permanent Releases are limited to four techniques split between Shikai and Bankai rather than the normal six. Those who have this Type are typically unable to control their Reiatsu very well.

Race Restrictions: Available to only Shinigami and Fullbringers. Only five Perma-Release Types can exist at a single time.

Type: Technique Master

Description: This is someone who has actually forfeit the majority of their race's abilities, particularly Release abilities, to use a wide range of techniques at a very high level. As a result, however, their spirit tends to be unstable, putting them at risk.

Advantage:

• Rank 1: Double Reiatsu Strength and Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 200). Gain double the non-Release technique slots (the limit for this character technique-wise is 40 instead of 20. This does NOT apply to the techniques gained from Training Tier, too). Can learn any technique at any time through training as long as the character has the Reiatsu to use the technique in actual combat.
• Rank 2: 150% increase to Reiatsu Strength and Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 250). Gain double the non-Release technique slots (the limit for this character technique-wise is 40 instead of 20. This does NOT apply to the techniques gained from Training Tier, too). Can learn any technique at any time through training as long as the character has the Reiatsu to use the technique in actual combat.
• Rank 3: Triple Reiatsu Strength and Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 300). Gain double the non-Release technique slots (the limit for this character technique-wise is 40 instead of 20. This does NOT apply to the techniques gained from Training Tier, too). Can learn any technique at any time through training as long as the character has the Reiatsu to use the technique in actual combat.
• Rank 4: Quadruple Reiatsu Strength and Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 400). Gain double the non-Release technique slots (the limit for this character technique-wise is 40 instead of 20. This does NOT apply to the techniques gained from Training Tier, too). Can learn any technique at any time through training as long as the character has the Reiatsu to use the technique in actual combat.

Disadvantage: This person never gets a Release-type weapon. People of this Type cannot become Vizard or Zero Division. Technique Masters suffer from a malady that makes it difficult for them to use the techniques they have too excessively. Due to being at disharmony with their race's spiritual abilities, which causes a lack of Release along with Shinigami Technique Masters not having a Zanpakutō spirit to help stabilize them, all Technique Masters have a limit on how often they can use their most powerful techniques and draw upon the full extent of their strength. This malady shows itself in a limit in how often they can use techniques of the highest caliber, varying with their current Rank:

• Rank 1: The user can only use techniques equal to or greater than their own Class a combined three times total between rest periods. Techniques one Class below their own can be used a combined total of four times, and techniques two Classes below can be used a combined total of five times. Techniques three or more Classes below can be used without restriction.
• Rank 2: The user can only use techniques equal to or greater than their own Class a combined four times total between rest periods. Techniques one Class below their own can be used a combined total of five times, and techniques two Classes below can be used a combined total of six times. Techniques three or more Classes below can be used without restriction.
• Rank 3: The user can only use techniques equal to or greater than their own Class a combined five times total between rest periods. Techniques one Class below their own can be used a combined total of six times, and techniques two Classes below can be used a combined total of seven times. Techniques three or more Classes below can be used without restriction.
• Rank 4: The user can only use techniques equal to or greater than their own Class a combined six times total between rest periods. Techniques one Class below their own can be used a combined total of seven times, and techniques two Classes below can be used a combined total of eight times.   Additionally, a higher Class technique use can be used to cast a technique of lower Class than current if the latter is already used up, for example, a equal or higher class technique use used on a one class below technique without changing the class of the technique used.
