The Demon's Carnival [R, NDE, Medium-Hard]

Jin smiled when Rin agreed to work together with him. Now, they would be on the same page. That was good. Jin hoped that they could take out whatever threat arose at midnight. They had to or Karakura Town was finished. The two continued walking until they exited the House of Mirrors. Jin looked around, and then he felt it. A sudden compelling feeling that made him move on his own. Jin didn't know why he was doing it, but his body was moving, walking towards somewhere. He ended up walking behind some tents with Rin, and then the next thing he knew, he began feeling sleepy and tired. He couldn't keep his eyes open anymore. "What's going o-" he began, but then fell asleep midsentence. His eyes closed, and he slumped to the ground.

When Jin next woke up, he didn't know where he was. He looked around, groggy as ever while trying to figure out where he was now. He blinked his eyes a few times, and that was when he saw it. The large clock that he was facing. However, it wasn't the large clock that shocked him. It was the time now visible on the large clock. It was now 11:59 pm. In a minute, it would be midnight. This was not good. Not good at all. "Rin...it's almost midnight." Jin said, trying to wake the sleeping figure of Rin next to him. "This is bad. What happens now?" he asked out loud, more to himself than to Rin.

The minute hand started to move. It struck midnight at the 12, and the hour hand slammed onto it as well. At first, nothing happened. Only the dead echo of the tolling bells in their deep voices, crying into the night. The very first one was loud enough, but there were eleven others. Twelve total tolls, and it was truly a terrifying few moments, for there was nothing there, nothing but the echo as everything seemed to remain normal, and yet the feeling that something horrifying would happen continued to remain there. And then it happened. All at once, it happened, and everything turned upside down.

The whole area became coated in a red veil suddenly, as if everything was captured in a dim red light. And suddenly, the rides, the clowns, everyone that worked at this Carnival, changed. Their eyes turned all sorts of demonic, some with hollow eyes, others with solid black eyes. Some with glowing red eyes, others with glowing blue. Clowns began hopping around, pulling out chainsaws and knives and all sorts of weapons. Townspeople were running around screaming as those of the Carnival shoved metal into their flesh, carving them apart. A little boy watched his parents as they were cut in half, before a clown snuck up behind him with a malicious grin, and hurled a molotov onto him, setting the little boy ablaze.

A baby was ripped in half and eaten by one monstrous looking thing, and a woman was being raped by one clown at the same time as a lion was raking its mouth all over her head, tearing at her hair and drawing blood from her face, almost about to rip the head off completely. It was a horrible sight, but nothing was so bad as people burning, flaying, and dying all at once. All sorts of deaths were taking place. And, suddenly, a clown on a pogo stick began bouncing towards Rin and Jin, holding a chainsaw and laughing as he moved towards them.
