Well, you guys voted and probably wondered what the heck we were going to do, so here it is! For three months, we will be entering a new TP rewards trial period! Once July 17 hits, we will formally decide whether we wish to move the forum over into this grading system or not. Until then, we reviewed how many points you guys get per paragraph (where paragraph grading applies) and found that we could do the following:
- In Solo Training and Joint Training threads, you were originally rewarded effectively 5 TP per paragraph written. At five paragraphs, you would have had 25 TP. Under this new system, you will receive 50 TP by default when you write anywhere between 2 and 5 paragraphs per post. For every additional paragraph written afterwards, you will receive 5 TP. For example, 7 paragraphs would equal 60 TP. For Solo Training, we advise you break up posts into multiple paragraphs and still require a minimum of 5 paragraphs per post. Joint Training rewards are still combined and awarded to all participants.
- In PvP threads, NDE/DP originally rewarded 10 TP per paragraph written. At five paragraphs, you would have had 50 TP. Under this new system, you will receive 75 TP by default when you write anywhere between 2 and 5 paragraphs per post. For every additional paragraph written afterwards, you will receive 10 TP. For example, 7 paragraphs would equal 95 TP.
- In PvP threads, DE originally rewarded 25 TP per paragraph written. At five paragraphs, you would have had 125 TP. Under this new system, you will still receive 125 TP by default when you write anywhere between 2 and 5 paragraphs per post. For every additional paragraph written afterwards, you will receive 25 TP. For example, 7 paragraphs would equal 175 TP.
At the moment, these are the only instances we’ve reviewed since they are the most common thread types used on our forum. If this system is formally adopted, we will review the other thread types and adjust accordingly.
Thank you for your creativity!
