Bounty Collection, Arcadus and Camilla vs Asmoskon DP

[Arcadus]

Arcadus arrives in the Human world, Specifically Karakura Japan. Looking around, Arcadus grimaced. With how spiritually relevant this town was, he figured there had to be some kind of open rift in town that kept dropping spiritual entities into it. That or it was effectively a world wide minority community for spiritual humans. As for the what and why, he was here to take in Asmoskon, the free quincy. Invevitably he was sure that some human world organizations would object, but they had little recourse against Los Noches regardless. 

Camilla was supposed to warp in soon, preferably to ambush their quarry, and he was supposed to draw them out. Him being the arguably more durable fighter, and they'd need to be fast about this if they didn't want to attract attention from the entire town. If that became the case he'd have to make sure to not throw out anything too large scale. Garandou might be out of the question, and realistically, he didn't know if he could charge a cannon in time to make it hit. 

Arcadus held his other arm, a casual hugging of himself. He was not used to being... nervous about a fight. Normally he relished the oppurtunity to pit himself, but with a partner, it felt different. Maybe he was worried about performance? Not usually a problem but this wasn't the normal situation to be worried about that kind of thing. Besides, if he and Cami do as well as they did against each other, they should have no problem handling this. 

It was supposed to rain today, and hopefully Asmoskon would try and end this quickly, but given they were a quincy, it was very likely they would try and drag this out. In either case, Arcadus walked down the street, looking into the ramen shop they were reported to run. If they didn't come out, he'd have to go in. While being indoors didn't really matter to him, considering the walls were made of concrete and not steel or seki seki, he wanted to keep his distance.

[Camila Adaronde]

Cracking her knuckles, and stepping through Descorrer, Camila made herself present within Karakura Town. It seemed that this was going to be a rather interesting fight, all things considered; such was the first time that she'd be able to square off against such a high-powered Quincy. She'd heard stories, but to experience it firsthand. It was an interesting notion.

Though, there was one bit of unresolved tension that needed to be talked about; the person whom she was here to meet with. "Been a while," she started, "how's life been treating you, Arcadus?" In truth, she hadn't particularly cared. At least, not in the traditional sense. There was a level of respect that she felt for the Arrancar, but such was out of his own personal strengths. It remained to be seen just how this whole situation was to follow.

Though, that was neither here nor there. Instead, she focused her attention to the busying streets of Karakura. Her sights were to be set on a Quincy within the town; Asmoskon Masurao. Someone whose name she'd seen before in the Bingo Book, back while she had the opportunity to look through it. Being on it herself now, and rather significantly, she hadn't the opportunity to look through it again in quite some time. Perhaps things would be a bit different in the future? Only time could tell.

"I remember you making mention of tactics to deal with this individual," she started, "what've you got in mind?" In truth, the thought of tactics concerned her little. The main focus toward this situation was whether or not she needed to watch herself due to the Arrancar's combative prowess. She knew full well that the two could've been prone to get in each others' way, just out of the nature of their abilities. That remained to be seen.

“So much for a relaxing day. Ren, Rin get below and have everyone bunker down for the next few hours.”

Since returning to Karakura, Asmoskon had been slowly returning to a life that consisted of constant battles to the death. Whether it was an attack from a small group of naive Vandenreich soldiers, an attack from one that knew what they were doing, or just some random stranger that happened to pick up on him, he didn’t make the first move. It was something that he hadn’t really started to do once again and even now with what he was feeling the notion of shooting first didn’t cross his mind. Instead though he wouldn’t sit here and wait for them like he did with all the others. The Perfect Broth had become too well known, a successful business in the last few months that he couldn’t allow to be taken from the twins who had become quite friendly with him.

Whether it was immediately or not Asmoskon couldn’t really tell, but once the Arrancar and Shinigami got within half a mile of the Perfect Broth he knew what was happening. Picking up on their reiatsu signatures right away, his talent for the skill enabled him to pick up on their race which gave him a bit more information than a novice may collect. These two moved together as they were told this wasn’t some random thing, nor was it a meet and greet from Las Noches or Soul Society. Neither of these two felt good either with both emanating violence and aggression.

Standing up from his stool Asmoskon walks out of the shop, out onto the street and begins walking only to stop about fifty feet down the road. Keeping his senses sharp and his eye peeled Asmoskon felt the two individuals approaching. Both of them possessed far above average spiritual aspects surpassing his own in both regards. That told him another little piece of info. There were two circumstances that he felt may be the most likely, either someone wanted to recruit him for something, or kill him for something.

Shizuka likely would come to talk with him personally if she wanted to entice him back into Xcution so these likely weren’t her play toys. That meant he had to keep moving and hope they would just follow along. Fighting against individuals with the power he could sense right now resulted in the surrounding area getting destroyed. The people of Karakura didn’t deserve that anymore than they deserved the constant Hollow attacks. So if he could get them away from the town he’d prefer it.

Either way though letting his guard down wasn’t an option, focusing his reiatsu into his back for a moment was the first choice in preparing himself. The next came with a quick gaze down at the ginto tube on the right side of his belt. As his index finger gently glides across the top. “Guren no Kamen.” A whisper directed down with his right hand held above and the next moment his mask tossed out into his palm. Pulling in the reiatsu from the environment around him through his cross then into himself, Asmoskon places the black and red spirit ore mask over his face knowing that now anyone and everyone spiritual would be able to feel his signature, but it would be that of an Arrancar.

Technique Element: N/A
Technique Description and Effects: Perhaps one of the most useful applications of Ginto in the modern age in the human world, this technique enables practitioners to seal objects inside the ginto. These items can be stored simply by putting them onto the ginto or placing the ginto onto them afterwards the item will seemingly slip inside the small tube. In order to take out an item from the ginto one must reach inside while either thinking about what they want or saying aloud the item. Once the user has become proficient in use they can say aloud the item they want and the ginto will spit it out for them. Once Mastered though the user can seal and release multiple items at once simply by thinking about it. By holding the ginto against them the user through thought can hypothetically change everything they’re wearing with a different outfit inside the tube.

How to use technique: Place items against the top of the ginto tube while either thinking or speaking aloud what you want from the tube.

Technique Drawbacks: Must be holding the tube. Can only store items up to the size of a fridge meaning that vehicles and massive weaponry cannot be stored.

{Guren no Kamen}Name: Guren no Kamen
Description: A thick metal mask of considerable weight with a very aggressive look to it with intense downturned brows. The face is very angular with a strong nose. The mask instead of having a mouth has four slit openings vertically that are only about the size of a pencil in thickness. The mouth looks almost like it’s screaming despite the mouth being partially connected. The mask is colored crimson red with pitch black markings that resemble many circles. The eye holes have black lenses that hide the eyes of the wearer. Once put on the mask stays attached using then reiatsu of the wearer like glue. It can be taken off when the wearer suppresses their reiatsu in the same manner as one would to hide themselves normally.

Bonuses: This mask is made from Spirit Ore granting it all the positives and negatives of that material. Additionally though the mask has been built with two other functions the first of which are the four slits over the mouth. By infusing reiatsu into the mask, poison is prevented from entering the slits. This enables the wearer to maneuver through poisoned areas without harm for a short period. So long as the poison doesn’t possess a superior OS/IP to the mask. (2 posts/costs 100 reiatsu, cooldown of 2 posts)
The moment the mask is put on the reiatsu signature of the user is altered in sensation to that of 100 Dark Aura and the feeling of an Arrancar. Those that can sense reiatsu will feel the wearer is an Arrancar with only those few truly gifted at sensing reiatsu being able to peer at the true nature. (+400 ES)
Any reiatsu type attacks that make contact with the mask are bounced back on the same path they traveled. This will cause projectiles such as Arrows or Beams to reflect back at the originator. Melee attacks that use reiatsu have the reiatsu portion reflected onto the user while the physical portion is unaffected. Reiatsu that isn’t inherently offensive such as smoke will stay near the mask, but will be kept a foot away. Attacks that possess superior OS or are Class +2 cannot be reflected. Increases the strength requirement to move by 25.

[Arcadus]

Arcadus looked over to Cami, smirking. "We blow him the fuck up, since its what we do best. Cut him down and try and turn him to ash. Collateral is a plus, since he'll likely fight more conservatively to keep us from hurting the mortals around here. Cero is probably a good hello, and we space our selves around him. Besides that? Poison him till he can't stand. I think that should suffice for tactics." Arcadus grinned as he pulled his artificial zanpakuto from his belt, the golden katana glistening in the street light. 

Surging forward, Arcadus went towards Asmoskon head on, letting Camilla circle around to his flanks or rear, given her higher speed. Stopping with 50 yards between himself and Asmoskon, Arcadus would stop and fire out a cero, the red blast erupting from his hand in the instant he aimed it. Holding his blade down at his side, he half expected his target to appear behind him and try and cut him down. Regardless, Arcadus knew that attempting to go all out this early was going to be foolish, but he at least wanted to start out strong. 

Cami was free to take her own options, and he'd spaced out himself from the quincy that he'd have good coverage. But in general, he'd not had much luck with simply blasting away at people lately, so he was on the lookout for something fishy. Camilla also seemed different from their last encounter, and while he was excited to see what kind of change she'd undergone, he was a bit apprehensive. Their last encounter had certainly put him on edge around her, given she seemed keen to get back at him.

Letting out a sigh as Arcadus charged on ahead, Camila couldn't help but smile. If nothing else, it was interesting seeing him getting into the swing of things against a unifying foe. Especially after their last little scuffle. If nothing else, Camila was curious to see where this was going to go. And, to kick some Quincy ass.

Though, that last bit felt a little ambiguous. While she couldn't normally feel any spiritual signatures - she simply hadn't cared enough to learn to do so - it seemed that there was one she could feel. One that picked up as an Arrancar. Strange, all things considered, especially since Arcadus had been heading directly toward it. If nothing else, there was little reason to believe that the Bingo Book had given them wrong information; their bounty had been here.

"Enshadow, Hikage Kubomi."

As she spoke, dropping her Zanpakutō into the building she'd been on, the tantō quickly found itself dissolving into the inky darkness beneath her feet. Within a short moment thereafter, another weapon was flung from the shadow, reaching around the girl's shoulder in height; a simple uchigatana. Blasting forward at her full Speed, Camila took the opportunity to close the distance as Arcadus' own laser had been fired off.

She took the time to wait for the blast to clear, the dust to settle, and the damage to be done. From there? She'd make her move in on the 'Arrancar'. The moment she caught sight of him, she took the opportunity to get within melee range, before delivering an under-head vertical attack against the man. Though, she wasn't expecting for her strike to reach the man successfully; no, quite the opposite. If nothing else, she was here to test her offense against the Quincy. Perhaps he'd hold up? Perhaps he'd crumble immediately? She had no idea, but she couldn't wait to spill some blood.

Leaping backward, Camila pierced her blade into the shadow of nearby rubble; given a number of buildings had just been blasted to pieces, that was going to make this whole excursion that much easier for her to deal with. As the shadow from the building found itself quickly absorbed within her own darkened blade, Camila took a deep breath. At a moment's notice, she was ready to enact her defensive abilities, should the situation require such an option. If nothing else, she wasn't going to let this Quincy escape.

"'Fuck is up?" She called out, holding her blade in front of her, "you're Asmoskon, aye? Man 'a the hour, n' the fuck with a bounty on his head?"

{Shikai Overall Ability: Hikage Kubomi (lit. 'Hole Shadow')}

The theme of Hikage Kubomi is the manipulation of shadows, their shapes, and their characteristic properties. Hikage Kubomi specializes in the physical characteristics; making a shadow more tangible, from an observable phenomena to a graspable one. When its release name is called, Camila drops her blade into her shadow which immediately becomes wispy or liquid like in nature, swallowing the blade entirely. From there, the shadow becomes darker and becomes a semi fluid and solid mass that Camila may shape into any form of her choosing so long as the weapon in question matches the dimensions or shape of Camila. For instance, if Camila were 6’0”, she may make a weapon of similar length or width. Camila may freely change the shape of her Shikai once per post, or may pay 100 reiatsu to do so more than once. Changing the shapes of shadows she manipulates is costless. While Camila has her release active, she is shadowless and do not cast one under any light sources.

The true power of Hikage Kubomi is the ability to make any shadow of which Camila touches into a physical and tangible object. A shadow is physically indestructible. While it can be stretched or distorted, it cannot be destroyed. Camila may turn any shadow she or her weapon touches into a viable weapon for techniques and by paying 50 reiatsu may rip the shadow from the object and incorporate it into her release. If the object the shadow comes from is destroyed, the shadow itself is lost and returns to the destroyed vessel. Shadows that are incorporated into Hikage Kubomi are stored within themselves but do not stretch as a normal shadow would; that is to say, there is no indication of how much shadow the girl currently possesses. Those looking to manipulate the shadows that Camila possesses require a superior spiritual Offensive Stat to Camila’s own.

Patience nor decorum it seemed weren’t aspects of the Arrancar not too far away from him now, picking up on the fact that he could sense the position of the Arrancar while hearing the noise that he made as he closed in on him Asmoskon turned. Witnessing a male with a look of superiority, almost like a lion that didn’t know what it was hunting. A golden blade in hand and yet that wasn’t the one being brought upwards along with the sensation of his reiatsu beginning to flare. Asmoskon wanted to keep damage and death to a minimum, but it seemed that despite his wishes the people of Karakura would suffer this time. The other though wasn’t anywhere to be seen although the sensation that he felt from her reiatsu told him she wasn’t holding back, he could feel her power bursting outwards as her zanpakuto was released upon Karakura.

He’d have to get somewhere quick that suited him better, from what he was sensing these two weren’t the sort that it would be wise to play with, finally he had something to practice against for that old man. His feet flickering right away Asmoskon would execute Hirenkyaku not to avoid the cero by rushing to the right or left where the buildings suffered extensive damage with some of them even being brought down. No, the best choice for an archer was to get the vantage point thus Asmoskon stepped upwards high into the air where he’d stand keeping watch from above as his pitch black longbow materialized in his left hand. His bow though wasn’t the only thing he’d unleashed with his Heart Property for the first time being brought to the forefront since his return to Japan.

The vertical eye opening in the center of his forehead would go unnoticed by those that sought him out as his Mask obscured its form. Just as Asmoskon’s face could no longer be seen nor could this eye, yet this eye gave him sight over everything even from behind the metal of his mask. Despite the fact that Asmoskon blinked one moment and the next his vision went from well trained to full with everything above, below, behind granted to him, he wasn’t going to take chances focusing his reiatsu for a moment while he watched the second appear and stab her sword into a piece of the now rubble. A cero with might that could bring down several buildings would be a problem so the sky was the best choice now. Pushing outwards his awareness just a bit Asmoskon pulled back his bowstring ready to begin his own response.

Standing in the air roughly one hundred feet above the tallest building in this section of Karakura, Asmoskon compressed his reiatsu into arrows between his fingers, unleashing them downwards on the Arrancar. Asmoskon wanted to make sure what he was sensing was correct, whether or not this Arrancar would stand there and take them to prove a point or avoid them as the distance between them would make it more than possible if his mind and eyes could track them. Immediately afterwards though Asmoskon replicated the motion firing off another five arrows in such succession that the ten would descend downwards no different than an automatic firearm. The second one that Asmoskon was more certain now had to be a shinigami would more than likely spot him, but with his arrows already on the way she’d have to avoid them first before making her move against him.

Technique Description and Effects: This technique is one that makes use of the body directly, using the user’s spiritual strength to increase the body’s capabilities in specific ways. Like Willpower, this technique comes in stages as well, but is limited to two:

•[Stage 1: Push]: This power coats the user in a sort of "Output Aura." It does two things. First, awareness can extend out by two more inches. This means someone will become more aware of an incoming attack two inches of distance from the attack earlier than normal. It means that one can try to use this to predict enemies, though not as successfully as actual prediction or reading. The secondary point expands "damage." Essentially, it bypasses defenses. A human using this is completely immune to cutback effect regardless of state, and this extends to weapon uses too. Hierro is also completely ignored during use of Push. This defense ignoring is only present during physical attacks. Reiatsu-based strikes can still meet Hierro resistance. This lasts for 5 posts, and costs 100 Reiatsu.

{Heart Property ----> Unparalleled Sight}
Asmoskon's Heart Property is one that grants him a vertical eye beyond any other in terms of sight for this eye can see all targets. The eye is located in the center of his forehead. How the eye accomplishes this is through a series of enhanced vision that the eye is able to activate and overlap on top of one another. There is one property that this eye grants Asmoskon that is always active and he himself can't actually deactivate. Full Field observation meaning three hundred and sixty degree vision is something that this eye always has, granting Asmoskon the ability to perceive everything around him. The second vision property that this eye possesses is a type of telescope vision. What this enables Asmoskon to do is freely choose to increase the distance at which he can view things in detail in the same manner as a telescope. The distance that Asmoskon is able to extend his vision up to is approximately two miles. When this property of vision is activated the Full Field Vision of the eye is disabled.

The third property of vision that this eye possesses is simply x-ray vision. This property enables Asmoskon to by focusing gaze through the matter of the dimensions ranging from simply seeing through the outer layer of an entities skin to the flesh beneath all the way to gaze through solid material such as buildings. Asmoskon's can't peer through entities that possess a higher spiritual offensive stat than himself. The Fourth property of this eye is known as thermal vision. While active Asmoskon is able to see heat in a spectrum of blue representing cold to red representing hot. The darker blue the more cold the temperature while the brighter red the more hot the temperature that he sees. This enables Asmoskon to more effectively find hidden targets.

[Arcadus]

The quincy disappeared, and as Arcadus sensed for him, and there he was, hanging high above Karakura, and as Arcadus gained a better image of their spiritual signature, they seemed to activate a kind of ability? It was hard to tell just by energy sensing alone, but Arcadus could also sense their bow being drawn and arrows being formed. Time to defend.


Arrows wizzed towards him. Throwing his sword wide, deflected a score to them, through less with his blade and more with his arm. The arrows, glancing off his musculature, did cut into his skin, bypassing his hierro. That technique again. Clearly a favorite of humans, quincy's especially. Well, so it is, and he'd have his counterattack in a moment. Taking a moment to charge a cero, Arcadus fired, letting it travel for a moment before stepping. 


This was going to be fun. If we're going to reduce collateral, and he's going to avoid my attacks, maybe he can't deal with his strength overall. That cero fired, Arcadus would watch for where Asmoskon would step to, making sure to sense where his presence popped up if he dodged the attack, stepping via Sonido to behind him. Asmoskon would see, with his heightened and opened senses, a bright white light flashing outward, as if standing on the sun, there was no visual sense of up or down, left or right. 

Having flashed out the strength of his rieatsu, Arcadus brought his artificial Zanpakuto down onto Asmoskon's collar bone. The intent was to bring the sword in his left hand down onto Asmo's right side. Killing him now would be no fun, and Arcadus figured a non lethal blow might provoke less of a sense of danger from within the quincy. Regardless, Arcadus knew he had to keep it slow. A quincy was best worn down before releasing, and easy options should be exhausted before pulling out larger stops.

If everything were to go as she wanted, she wouldn't've been blinded. But, unfortunately it seemed that Arcadus had other plans, here. "NGH, FUCKING LORD ARCADUS!" She shouted, allowing her shadows to take physical shape around her, "FUCKING WARN ME OR SOMETHING NEXT TIME!" Thankfully, her sensory capabilities weren't phenomenal, so this wasn't going to mean nearly as much to her as it would've to her opponent.

Though, that didn't mean she was going to sit idly by and let this Quincy just have his way with the two of them. Instead, she was going to take advantage of this down period, releasing a swarm of physically-manifested shadows from her Zanpakutō. Within a split moment, these shadows took form as a number of swarming ravens, swirling around her in order to cover her from incoming attacks. She wasn't going to get blindsided as her vision recovered.

As it did, however, she saw a number of arrows coming toward her. While it was a little later than she'd anticipated from Quincy filth, she wasn't going to discount the advantage such presented her. Piercing another shadow, and making use of Shunpō in order to blast upward toward Asmoskon, Camila took the arrows head-on, allowing her ravens to expand and soak the incoming damage from each arrow. While each raven persisted, they weren't long from being annihilated by Asmoskon's arrows once more. She'd have to think if she wanted to dish out noteworthy damage to the Quincy.

Manifesting a platform of shadow beneath her feet, not unlike the man's own Hirenkyaku, the girl took another step toward him through Shunpō, closing the distance once more in order to position herself about fifteen feet away from him, similarly landing on one of those platforms once more. The previous one had simply snuck back into her sword during the travel, only to manifest back out once again underneath her feet.

"I'll take your lack of response as a yes, aye? How 'bout you drop the mask, yeah? Show your fuckin' face why don't you?" She smirked, preparing an offense. Reshaping each of the ravens, removing their defensive capabilities and instead turning each of them into shuriken, the throwing weapons immediately fired at Asmoskon, aiming at various parts of the Quincy's body; namely, toward that mask he wore. She hadn't the slightest idea of what it might've done, but she knew full-well that it wasn't something she wanted to keep around.

Regardless of whether or not the shuriken she'd fire made their mark on the Quincy, she'd retract the shadow from each weapon back into her Zanpakutō, taking up a fighting stance in the process. Given he was a Quincy, she hadn't expected Asmoskon to be a close-ranged fighter, but anything was possible. Especially while he was pinging with Hollow reiatsu. Could that be something to turn against him? Only time could really tell with that one.

Technique Name: Shokan (lit. 'Household')

Technique Stages: Shikai / Bankai.

Technique Cost: 300 Reiatsu/post (150/post in Bankai).

Description: Camila is capable of turning the shadows they contact with Hikage Kubomi into a horde of black ravens, creating 1 raven for every half foot of shadow she has, that surround her. The ravens in question function at 600 Speed (800 in Bankai), and are capable of lashing out and assaulting Camila's targets. The ravens are incredibly capable of absorbing and nullifying impact, and can be used to intercept blows or projectiles with incredible ease. They have the same endurance and durability as the girl’s Spiritual Pressure, and when intercepting an attack directed towards Camila stretch and turn flat to gain as much surface area as possible. The ravens actively absorb and nullify physical blows and very little can pierce through their form. Multiple ravens can combine to become larger in size to have more mass, impact, or to repel larger attacks.

Drawbacks: While ravens are easy to create, they're also relatively easy to destroy, meaning Camila needs to be proactive in order to keep this technique functioning.

[✠Asmoskon Masurao✠]

Asmoskon watched as the arrows that he fired off at the Arrancar managed only to gently graze his body with at most minimal cuts with more than half of them getting broken apart by the blade he wielded. Asmoskon accomplished what he sought to gain from the projectiles, this Arrancar didn’t just possess mighty reiatsu, but his physical body had been honed as well. He was a foe that seemingly shoved everything else to the side devoting himself to pure offense while relying on the typical defenses of an Arrancar. Based on what he was sensing from his reiatsu and what he’d seen so far this one was highly aggressive and wouldn’t be waiting or planning out anything astronomical in brilliance to catch him off guard. Raw power was something that one of them possessed now it was time to figure out more about the other.

Just like that though Asmoskon felt the signature of the Arrancar spike once again to the same particular level it’d been only a few moments earlier. “Basic yet potent.” Another cero was going to be fired although with the distance between them and the position charge now Asmoskon knew there had to be something more. This Arrancar wasn’t completely brain dead so he wouldn’t waste his stamina to just cast off another cero with even less chance than the first one doing anything. Either way Asmoskon wasn’t going to let it be easy or welcome to attack him thus a singular arrow would be fired from his longbow down at the Arrancar this one positioned to go right through the cero, strong enough to survive the wave and thrust through it, out at the Arrancar’s chest.

Once firing off the singular arrow Asmoskon took to the next allowing his body to fall down from the sky to begin his descent then utilizing movement to accelerate himself just fast enough to get out of the cero’s range although he could feel the power emanating from it as it passed him. His vision was absolute. He could see the Arrancar and the Shinigami still and now it was time to handle the other. A zanpakuto that could give form to the shadows around them. A useful ability that Asmoskon had seen several times although the specifics usually were different to some degree. This one used them to intercept his arrows which gave him a bit of information about them.

Although the Arrancar standing as he was began to look different and then just like that there was the flash. In the next moment Asmoskon couldn’t see anything while his eyes began to burn with irritation similar to staring up at the sun for more than a second. It was going to take a couple of moments for his vision to return. Thankfully his mind processed the information without a flaw, going through everything that he could gather from his other honed senses with perfect precision. Just like that though Asmoskon heard the signature sound of Shunpo, focusing on the bottom of his feet the Quincy would stop once again aware that the Shinigami was only a short distance away from him now.

Sniffing the air, listening intently, these were the two of the five senses that Asmoskon could employ at the moment to aid him as his taste would be blocked for the most part by his mask. All the same though he couldn’t hear anything from the Shinigami beyond her shunpo, he didn’t need to though. He didn’t need to though as the information came to him through his nose along with a bit more fragrance than he’d expected. The shinigami was a female and her position could be closed in a moment. Pulling in the reiatsu of the environment around him Asmoskon exhales ending his Heart Property and with it his third eye closes.

Activating his form property his longbow disappears as he continues to face his head away from the shinigami, tattoos manifesting all over his body although neither of these two would be able to tell with his body covered by clothing and his face beneath his mask. In the moment that followed Asmoskon could hear multiple sources of noise all around him, the first of which was the signature noise of Sonidoalong with the spike in his reiatsu signature it was easy to pinpoint the position of the Arrancar behind him. Asmoskon didn’t have to do anything though as the ill intentions of the Arrancar triggered Tamashi no Sukuriputo. The crimson red circular symbol of the Masurao appeared from his back immediately with a backwards push away from him.

The Arrancar’s physical strength was superior without a doubt yet his downward swing wouldn’t have the distance to reach Asmoskon once he was pushed backwards and Asmoskon once again disperses the reiatsu beneath his feet allowing himself to fall down like a normal human again. Push extending his awareness even just a little gave him the edge he enjoyed to hear the ravens soaring towards him at a good clip. The small distance between himself and the Shinigami would normally have been a problem to handle yet his ears proved to be better suited to the situation than eyes. Each individual noise that every raven made with the flap of a wing was handled by his mind, painting a picture with the talent of an ancient legend.

The result would be these raven projectiles hopefully clashing against the Arrancar, forcing one of his foes to attack the other while Asmoskon thrusts his left hand upwards towards the Arrancar. Another small volley of arrows fired from his fingertips sent up as a direct follow up to the ravens. If they changed course or couldn’t hurt him then his arrows would hopefully accomplish it anyway with each aimed for his torso. As for the Shinigami well it wasn’t typically his style, but Asmoskon lifted his right foot up bending his knee and fired an arrow from the top of his foot aimed to strike the Shinigami in their gut. It’d take another couple seconds for Asmoskon to fall to the roof of a building although he expected it wouldn’t take so long for these two to follow up once again. Thus he began to absorb further reiatsu from the environment again.

Asmoskon's Form property is one that doesn't change his bow from a normal one into a different type of weapon whether it be meant for distance or melee range. In fact it doesn't even alter his bow into an item or type of clothing like many of the new Quincy. Instead Asmoskon's Form property actually takes the form of tattoo-like markings that cover the majority of his body ranging from his face, chest, arms, waist, hands, legs, thigh, shins and feet. Virtually every part of Asmoskon's body is covered at least to some degree in these markings that appear on his skin the moment he activates this property. What this property actually allows Asmoskon to achieve though is something completely different as now Asmoskon can fire an arrow from any of the markings on his body at any moment. These markings also offer Asmoskon a type of pseudo-defense that is constantly activated from the moment of activation. The markings are able to prevent Asmoskon's body from sustaining damage on the points covered from any type of attack. The class of defense these markings possess is the typical class 6. The markings lose this defensive property the moment that an arrow is fired from one of them. They regain the defensive property at the beginning of the next post. In order to reactivate the defensive property in the same post as firing an arrow Asmoskon must pay 100 reiatsu. This property effectively makes Asmoskon's own body his bow.

{Tamashī no Sukuriputo}

Technique Description and Effects: This technique takes on the appearance of a tattoo located on his back hidden from sight and one that very few individuals know about. This tattoo is the Crest of the Masurao Family which covers from the back of his shoulders down just below his shoulder blades to the upper middle of his back. Asmoskon actually has no control over this technique as he devised it to have a trigger situation that must be met in order for the technique to activate itself. In short when anything of danger reaches five feet from Asmoskon from behind the tattoo activates. Suddenly the crest of the Masurao family will appear behind Asmoskon as crimson reiatsu while rapidly rotating clockwise. Instantly the crest repels whatever activated it backwards with force equal to Asmoskon's Reiatsu Strength.

How to use technique: Listed Above

Technique Drawbacks: Costs 800 Reiatsu. The technique can't activate if the tattoo on Asmoskon's back is damaged in anyway meaning cutting his back can render this technique incapable of activating. Asmoskon has no control over the technique meaning it can actually be exploited against him. This technique isn't meant to cause harm so even though whatever triggers the technique may be pushed backwards with overwhelming strength the push itself won't cause any sort of harm. However, harm is possible if someone is pushed into an opposing force or obstacle that can't be moved by this technique. The greatest weakness of this technique is the simple fact that Asmoskon must fill the tattoo with his reiatsu prior to a threat appearing in order for it to activate. This must be done prior to every single activation as the technique will not activate unless this process is fulfilled.

[Arcadus]

Feeling his sword swoosh through air, and now seeing a dozen ravens formed of rieatsu swarm towards him, Arcadus floated in the air on a small stream of cero. Spinning and evading the birds wasn't his worst option, and as he flew back and Camila's ravens gained on him, he formulated a plan. He could sense arrows being formed and having seen their speed, decided to not attempt to counter them at this distance and angle. 

Stepping via sonido to infront of Asmoskon, they were both now on the roof of the building. Arcadus kicked off the air in a shockwave, using the momentum, to throw a cut at the quincy's midsection, a shockwave booming from the swing and leaping past it, the speed of the shockwave far greater than the Arrancar's sword swing.  Actually hitting him would be a plus, but mainly it was to let Cami attack without needing to defend or counter. However, this wasn't going to be something they could keep up. If this quincy could move automatically and had the senses to react the second either opponent moved, then they needed to hold him down. 

As for why he wasn't releasing, Arcadus reasoned there would be time enough for that soon, but right now he wanted to conserve rieatsu and try and force some options out of this quincy. He assumed Camilla would be able to disperse her birds or otherwise regain control over them, but they still were chasing after him. This was certianly more difficult than the bounty posters had made it out to be, but that was fine. He had other defensive options, but they would be better suited for rushing him down in release, or simply would force a change of tactics. Besides, Consume would be better used in closer quarters where absorbing an attack would actually make a difference. 

Going off of what he could sense, he could actually consume the arrows. Of course, at the distances that Asmoskon was shooting them, it was easier to simply step and avoid them. Of course as well, they were no where near close enough to wear him down. He was close enough to force Asmoskon to run or fight, and he wanted to give pressure while Camilla brought in a killshot. He'd ramp it up in a minute, and worst to worse the he could just activate the Angel.

As each shuriken missed its mark on her foe, aiming clearly toward the Espada, Camila retracted her shadows as she'd originally planned to do. She had no intention of letting her own attacks miss their mark like that, and had much more important things to utilize her powers on than something as cheap as that. Instead, she was going to be a bit busy in dealing with the incoming arrow.

Shifting the direction in which her platform carried her, the girl veered out of the way of the arrow, watching the Quincy start his descent toward the ground with Arcadus in tow. As the two seemed to be engaged in aerial combat, she had a trick of her own up her sleeve. Namely, she was going to pounce the very moment that Asmoskon had come close to hitting the ground.

Blasting forth through the air via Shunpō, and pushing off of her own shadow platform to reach the building the very second before Asmoskon did, she adopted an exceptionally low stance, standing directly overtop the Quincy's shadow. Enough to allow her to jab her darkened sword into the Quincy's shadow, and stand back up, now having donned a ravenskull mask. Taking a deep breath, before exhaling rather sharply, she turned back to face Asmoskon. From the very moment it touched his own shadow, Reishi surged through the building from her sword. He'd been bound in place.

Assuming everything went according to plan, and Asmoskon's own shadow began to revolt against him, Camila wasted no time in looking to pierce the Quincy's flesh with another blade of shadow. She wasn't looking to kill him here; no, she was aiming for the center of his abdomen, as to ensure that even if he'd tried to break free, the chances of him taking even a glancing blow remained quite high due to the noticeable speed differential. She wanted to poison the Quincy with her own toxic reishi. Regardless, she'd take the opportunity to absorb some ambient reishi through her mask, refueling her spiritual reserves in the process. "If you're not gonna fuckin' answer me," she said, "then I'll make sure you won't have another fuckin' word to say again, aye?"

{Kuronisei Shibari (lit. 'False Black Restraint')}

Technique Name: Kuronisei Shibari (lit. 'False Black Restraint')

Technique Stages: Shikai / Bankai.

Technique Cost: 100 Reiatsu.

Description: By making contact with an opponent’s shadow with a manifestation of Hikage Kubomi, Camila is capable of turning it into a physically tangible object that either wraps around an opponent, or embeds itself into the floor, turning into a semi physical surface; binding the victim either to a location, or wrapping around the victim entirely, encompassing their entire body. The shadow cannot be destroyed by means of pure strength, but can be stretched and pulled. The shadow’s elastic properties will move the binding back to its original location. When a victim is enveloped by this binding, they look completely black as if contained within a dark or latex suit.

Drawbacks: This may be overcome by having 1.5x spiritual superiority (2x in Bankai), paying forth 150 reiatsu (300 in Bankai) to disperse the shadow, or fighting in an area where their body does not cast any separate shadow.

{Hollow Wraith's Nectar}

Technique Name: Hollow Wraith’s Nectar

Class: 3 - 80 TTP for Proficient/Mastered, Learned automatically. Does not take a Technique Slot.

Technique Type: Hollow Wraith Technique.

Usable By: Hollow Wraiths.

Technique Element: N/A.

Technique Cost: 400 Reiatsu/post.

Description: A Hollow Wraith has experience in draining energy and life from their host, and they can use this knowledge in battle to further reinforce their strength and combat capabilities. By stealing the spiritual and physical energy of their foes, they are able to convert that excess power into a longer duration for their Wraith’s Façade. This allows a Hollow Wraith to further convert that mask energy into greater stats or more powerful techniques, depending on how they use it. This technique has two forms, one for draining physical energy, and one for devouring Reiatsu. The user must choose which of these forms is being used upon activation of this technique.

In its first form, the Hollow Wraith must make physical contact with their enemy and remain in contact for at least the duration of a post. For each full post in which they successfully do so, the Hollow Wraith will drain physical energy from their foe, reducing the target’s Strength and Speed by 10% for each post in which they are being siphoned. In turn, the Hollow Wraith can regain a post of mask usage by feeding on that energy, restoring their own reserves.

The second form can be used in any area that has been saturated in loose Reiatsu through the use of techniques and abilities. When this technique is activated, if at least 500 Reiatsu aside from Hollow Wraith’s Nectar has been spent between combatants since the user’s last post, the user can then take in and absorb the loose energy particles left in the air, drawing them into their body and converting them into further energy. This allows the Hollow Wraith to restore a post of their mask usage. Even better, if at least 1000 Reiatsu has been spent in this time, part of that spiritual energy can go towards compensating for the cost of this technique, reducing the cost of this technique by half.

How to Use: Absorb energy through contact or through absorption of loose Reiatsu, and convert it into energy that can restore mask duration.

Drawbacks: To begin with, this technique is expensive at Class 3, costing 400 Reiatsu per post it is active. Additionally, this technique cannot push the user’s remaining mask posts above six – the energy can only restore depleted posts, but cannot push the user above their limit to store for a more difficult fight by draining weaker enemies. Additionally, this can restore no more than a total of six posts in a single thread without a long resting period. Finally, this technique cannot be used at all if the user’s mask posts are already reduced to zero, as there needs to be a foundation upon which to convert the energy.

{Kurayami: Konuragiri}

Technique Name: Kurayami: Konuragiri (Darkness: Soul Betrayal)

Technique Class: 2 - 180 TTP

Technique Type: Kurayami.

Technique Element: Spirit.

Technique Cost: 600 Reiatsu, & 200 Reiatsu/post.

Description: A technique developed as a Vizard observes his own soul being controlled and manipulated by the Inner Hollow within him, he has learned to spread his own spiritual energy into another being's soul and take temporary control. Not quite the same as a puppetry technique, he instead instills a new will into the victim's soul, a will to turn on itself. This causes a form of inner turmoil that draws the victim into an internal battle with themselves, not in a literal sense but in the sense that they have to struggle to regain control of their actions. A victim suffering under this will have their limbs striking out at them with weapons, or struggling to strangle them, or many other ways to cause harm. The user does not have conscious control over how it happens, and merely plants the seed of an idea within the soul that takes root and later takes control.

When activated, this technique is dormant for two posts while the darkness is spreading in the victim's body. That means the post in which it is activated and the post after, this technique does nothing. After two posts, however, the victim begins to strike at themselves, their limbs acting of their own accord and out of the victim's conscious control. This lack of control lasts for five posts if unresisted, causing most victims to kill themselves before they can regain control if they simply let it happen. However, through effort and concentration (Strength of Will of 2 or higher), they can begin to struggle against the effects, forcing themselves into a deadlock rather than harming themselves. This does keep them immobile however, struggling internally to regain control, and as a result they are still left wide open against the user's own attacks.

How to Use: To use this technique, the user has to first have his mask active, and then build the dark Hollow Reiatsu within his body. From there, any physical or spiritual strike can release the “virus,” and two posts later the ability will take effect.

Drawbacks: The first drawback is the requirements for use of this technique; the use of any Kurayami abilities requires that a Vizard be wearing his mask. This technique also costs 600 Reiatsu to use, and an additional 200 Reiatsu per post to keep it active until a successful hit lands. Upon a successful hit, the virus is transferred and another hit will not trigger it again or affect another target unless the technique is used again. This technique can be resisted or fought off by having superior Spiritual Pressure or Reiatsu Strength to the user's Spiritual Pressure at any time; additionally, the power behind the technique decays over time, making it easier to break free. On the second post after activation, when the technique kicks in, it has the user's full Spiritual Pressure behind it. Every post after, it goes down by 20% of the max. (i.e. if the first post was 1000, then the second is 800, third is 600, etc). If the victim has superior Spiritual Pressure at any time, the technique immediately ends. Superior Class also reduces the initial Spiritual Pressure of the attack by 20% for each class the foe has above the user. Additionally, if the user's mask is removed or ends due to duration, this technique automatically ends.

[✠Asmoskon Masurao✠]

Enabling himself to fall down through the air in order to gain some sort of distance between himself and the Arrancar along with placing him in the path of the Shinigami’s attack, well that plan ultimately turned into nothing. Asmoskon with his eyes still closed remained focused and could hear once again the noise of Sonido. Right away that was it the Arrancar was upon him once again almost the exact same thing that just happened yet now he didn’t have Tamashi no Sukuriputo. This meant that if either of them attacked from his back he was open again. Although they didn’t have experience together, both of them it seemed were powerful enough that at once it was going to make him put in quite a bit of effort. The moment that the Arrancar was in front of him and they both stepped onto the roof of the building, Asmoskon could hear the sound of shunpo and knew the shinigami was behind him.

The next sequence of a moment had each individual doing one or more things in the same moment. The Arrancar immediately swung his zanpakuto horizontally with every intention of using his monstrous strength to cleave Asmoskon in two through his torso. The Shinigami’s reiatsu strength spiked to an astronomical degree, then thrust a blade down at his feet. These are the things that Asmoskon could tell were coming at him now using his sense of hearing, feeling and smell. This wasn’t enough; he was enclosed now on both sides by enemies and couldn’t rely on his form property alone to protect him, thus he had to start unleashing his power and hope he didn’t cause too much damage to Karakura. His reiatsu spiking just like the shinigami’s as Asmoskon activates Gate.

Squatting down Asmoskon felt the heavy impact of the Arrancar’s zanpakuto slamming into his left bicep yet the sharp edge would find it couldn’t penetrate through his tattoos. His clothing was cut as if it wasn’t even present and yet the markings were now sturdy enough that they would relent against the attack. The Shiniagmi didn’t stab him, but instead thrust her sword into the ground between his legs and then stood back up. It was in this moment that Asmoskon acted utilizing a technique that very few were aware he developed. His reiatsu rushing outwards as he thrusts his hands out. Normally one would expect an arrow and they’d be right now though the mass of black and red reiatsu would envelope the Arrancar and Shinigami’s legs.

His reiatsu acting similar to water bursting out from a balloon would make it incredibly difficult to actually avoid and then waving his hands together in a moment both of his enemies would be pulled off the roof top. Sent flying several feet away from him and yet more importantly towards one another. If they didn’t do something to establish themselves then they’d collide against one another. It wouldn’t be difficult for the shinigami though based on what Asmoskon had picked up so far about her. He stopped focusing his reiatsu the moment he used it to throw them thus ending his grip on them. Instead he now pulled his right arm back and then thrust it forward sending out a large arrow from the palm of his hand formed from fire. The arrow would hit both of them if they collided, but if he heard the sound of a step technique or nor collision then he’d make the decision to shoot at the Arrancar who from what he could tell was much less agile on his feet.

“You talk a lot for someone after a bounty. First time trying to take someone else’s head?”

It was at this point that Asmoskon was certain of two different things, the first was that his eyes were liekly better now and he could open them if he wanted too. He wasn't sure that was the best choice though given how much more aware he was right now using his other senses against two separate foes. The other fact was that he couldn't move his legs as easily as normal and there was one reason for it. That Shinigami's zanpakuto must be linking him or binding him to the roof of the building. He could feel the sword made of darkness and contemplated destroying it now, but waited as he stood back up and pulled in reiastu from the air around him now. Sure that the shinigami was going to speak once again and waiting to see if this Arrancar had the durability necessary to walk away from his fire arrow.

{Techniques}Technique Name: Geist Pfeil (Spirit Arrow)

Technique Description and Effects: When drawing upon their Letze Stil, a Quincy normally forms arrows of loose spiritual particles that are present in the area around them. However, this technique draws upon a different sort of spirit, using the user's own energy to form their arrows. Doing so alters the arrows in a unique way, allowing them to manifest in a form based on the user's spirit and personality, taking on properties that are different than a standard piercing arrow. This can even be used with the Versteckte Pfeil technique that allows a Quincy to fire arrows even without the use of their bow, with much the same results.

When this technique is learned, the user can pick one element and one effect from the lists below that matches their personality, and their arrows, when formed with this technique, will embody those traits. These cannot be changed upon learning. Mastering this technique advances both the elemental and effect properties to new forms, which will be listed in each individual category, but also increases the cost. Fortunately, the user can choose between the advanced and basic forms based on the situation of battle. Additionally, both Elemental and Effect traits do not need to be used simultaneously; one can embody an arrow with just one as needed.


Fire – An arrow released with this property will burn with incredible heat, and striking a target even with a grazing blow will leave a burn serious enough to cauterize the wound, often leaving these arrows embedded in seared and burning flesh. When advanced through mastery, this advances from simple heat to energy, forming bolts like lightning that move that much more quickly, snapping through the air and piercing through that which they strike. This advanced form causes an arrow to move 25% faster than normal, traveling at 1000 speed, and if it successfully pierces a defense even slightly, it will pierce all the way through due to sheer momentum. This doubles the cost of the arrow.


Technique Drawbacks: This technique costs 400 Reiatsu per post to keep active. Additionally, while activating the properties is costless, the advanced forms increase the cost of the arrows noticeably. Only one arrow possessing these properties can be fired at a time, and until that arrow hits something or is destroyed cannot be used, requiring the user to use normal arrows. Upon mastery, this is increased to two arrows able to be fired at once. Only arrows equal to or lower than the Class of the user can be fired, and any attempt to use stronger will cause the arrow to explode and create a rebound that damages the user's spirit, dealing incredible pain to them on a spiritual and physical scale. Finally, arrows using properties this technique overwrite a Bow Release's properties, including the ability to be guided and split aside from the Split property.

Technique Description and Effects: Through incredible effort and training that links the mind and body through the energy of reiatsu this technique allows the user to maneuver objects with an extension of their reiatsu. This enables the user to push/pull objects as well as levitate them with their mind as long as they stay focused and have the Reiatsu Strength to lift the object. In short this technique is a weak outline form of Telekinesis.

The force that can be exerted both with pull/pushing is equal to the Reiatsu Strength of the user comparable to the strength stat. The user can only levitate things that they would be able to lift if they Reiatsu Strength was treated as the Strength stat. The user can only use this technique through body movements such as their arms and hands unless they have mastered it at which point it can be done telepathically with thought. Moving on to very specific examples sense most people can think of a few times something like this has been done.

Different body positions or movements are able to focus this technique into specific telekinetic forms. The actual number of different executions is near endless and only bound by the imagination and concentration of the user. For example a user who holds out his hand and clenches the air can use this technique to create a force of reiatsu that acts like an extension of their hand. The technique will not push/pull like this technique's base intention, but instead will allow the user to act accordingly as if they had a hand that they can control with their own from a distance.

The amount of reiatsu that this technique requires to do certain things is dependent on the actual usage and how focused the user is at the time. When pulling/pushing anything it requires 100 reiatsu, levitation/control requires 80 reiatsu, specific branch off uses such as choking individuals requires 150 reiatsu. This also includes focusing the telekinetic force into defenses or other imaginative things. One thing that should be noted though is that a user can savor their reiatsu by not using this technique at the utmost degree of their Reiatsu Strength. If a user only focuses half of their RS or less then the costs of every action are halved as well.

How to use technique: This technique requires the focus of the individual on whatever they wish to move and how they want to move it or what type of telekinetic structure they wish to create.

Technique Drawbacks: The user can extend this technique a total of fifty feet for each level of skill reaching a maximum at one hundred and fifty feet. The major drawback of this technique is the amount of stress/pressure that is placed on the actual mind of the user. Any user that attempts to lift something that is beyond the strength of this technique will find they their mind is being torn apart much like how muscles would react. This along with the fact that when something over powers this technique is enough that the user will actually begin to bleed from their nose.

At this point most people should realize that this technique has a disadvantage that makes it not always even worth using in combat. Once the nose has begun to bleed the damage raises even further if the technique is even used again. The nose will continue to bleed and pain will extend throughout the body of the user every time it's used. If the technique is overpowered again the results skyrocket to the point that almost no one is strong enough to continue due to blood beginning to flow from their ears. Finally if continued the blood flows from these two sections while the pain has intensified if overpowered a third time though blood will flow from the bottom of the eyes and the user will simply shut down and drop unconscious regardless of skills. The only way that a user can be brought back during a thread is if they are healed in some manner time to recover will not allow recovery.
