Trying my hand once again at making a type! Reasoning behind this is the fact that we don't have a no-release mixed type. Both Kenpachi and Technique Master lean incredibly hard into their gimmicks, with little to no ability to do much of anything outside of that. To help with that, here is Resolved. While not nearly as statistically powerful as either of the aforementioned types, Resolved shines in its versatility, and like other no-release types, a lack of stat cuts. Though, for not having any kind of gimmick, this type doesn't have anything that it shines exceptionally well at, and instead retains Brave-equivalent stats. Naturally Vizard, Hollows, Mod Souls, and Failures cannot take this type. Beast-Clansmen were a bit of an odd-ball to add to this type, but my call with that is due to their release effectively being "extra" regardless, as their major benefit is the stats they're granted. While Brave doesn't inherently "break" with Beast-Clansmen, I've a very strong feeling the same couldn't be said for Resolved, especially with no stat cuts.
Type: Resolved
Description: Against all odds, you have never managed to manifest a release. And yet, despite that fact, you remain stronger for it. Solving conflict through sheer force of will and determination alone, you continue to beat the odds without any personal abilities.
Advantages:
Disadvantages: All Ranks: A Resolved character has no form of release. They are completely incapable of manifesting one, and are unable to take techniques that require them. In addition to this drawback, Resolved characters are required to have a number of points in Strength of Will, equal to their Rank.
Race Restrictions: Available to all Races except; Vizard, Beast-Clansmen, Hollows, Mod Souls, and Failures.
Starting Weapon: None.
