His reiatsu appears with a golden brown hue and has a very sinister and cold feeling to it.This is why at a quick glance he seems very rough and intimidating. The fact that his narrow, piercing gold eyes would often remind one of a predator doesn't help in the slightest, as his eyes truly do seem like they’re filled with dark and malicious secrets. He also carries himself with a great air of cockiness and arrogance, always standing straight and with his chest puffed out, often doing his best to use his height to look down on others if possible and bowing up to those who he can't.Accompanying his cocky attitude, his usual default expression is what can only be described as a shit eating grin, often showing off his set of pearly white teeth and rather sharper than normal canines. His face is also quite intimidating, with a scar across his bottom left cheek, that only goes to further enhance his rough and tough demeanor and persona he carries himself with.As far as Alex's outfits go, he's usually seen wearing very casual clothes. Starting from his footwear, he tends to either don a pair of black leather, steel toed, combat boots with the laces wrapped around and stuffed into the lip of the boots or a simple pair of dark gray sports shoes. Moving on up, Alex only ever wears shorts if they're gym shorts and he's currently at the gym but outside of that he wears nothing but various styles and types of jean pants. Moving to his torso, he's usually sporting muscle fit t-shirts and hardly ever wears anything else. He also sports a few piercings in his ears.The one article of clothing he's almost never seen without is his green leather fur lined jacket. Of course, depending on circumstances and occasions, he can be somewhat presentable, having a few different suits in his wardrobe that, when worn, can allow him to pass off as appearing somewhat professional and respectable. At least in terms of fashion.All in all, Alexander uses his size and looks to present himself as a confident and rough looking individual that most normal folk wouldn't want to get mixed up with. Likes:✕ Fighting - Alex was raised to be a soldier, a great fighter, and while he may not have been a fan of the methods used to achieve instill him with such great combat prowess, he would be the first to admit that he enjoys fighting, regardless of his opponents skills. Whether he’s outmatched or facing a completely unskilled fighter, Alex takes on any challenge he can.✕ Sports Bikes - Alex loves these kinds of fast and speedy bikes, even owning one himself that he is customizing to his liking. He enjoys the thrill that it gives him when he hops on and just takes off on it, pushing it to its limits without regard for others or road laws. Whenever he needs to clear his head he often hops on his bike and takes off.✕ Spicy Food - Alex’s preferred foods and meals tend to be spicy, from the lowest to the most extreme scale. What most folks would find unbearable or disgusting, Alex enjoys the piquant, hot, fiery, burning taste of spices. Anywhere he goes that has spicy foods, he'll be sure to order it and he often goes out of his way to include spicy stuff in his meals.✕ Partying - Alex enjoys going to night clubs and other places with loud music and cheap alcohol. Whenever he gets the chance to relax and isn’t assigned any kind of missions, he likes to go out and be a party animal, being as wild and unrestrained as he can be. If someone is looking for Alex during his free time then they're sure to find him at whatever club has the biggest party.✕ Slasher Films - A fan of the thriller and horror genre, Alex loves slasher films, especially the Friday the 13th. While he does enjoy all types of horror movies, ranging from monster flicks to psychological thrillers, he tends to be more a fan of the unstoppable stalking killer. He often likens himself to these types of horror stars due to their durability.✕ Greek Mythology - While not exactly an academic, Alex does enjoy the epics of Greek mythology, especially the ones that end in ironic tragedy. He also enjoys the Ancient Greek's take on how the world and everything in it came to be, always attributing every good and bad thing to their gods. He admires their ability to shift blame onto some imaginary beings.✕ Martial Arts - Paired with his love of fighting, Alex enjoys practicing and studying as much martial arts as he can. He does what he can to keep his skills sharp and honed to the very edge, often shadow fighting. He'll even test out new skills and methods that he's personally developed during real fights, even when he's in danger.✕ Working Out - Also going in hand with his love of fighting and martial arts, Alex understands that he needs to keep his body in shape and it helps when he enjoys doing that as well, knowing full well what the benefits are. He prides himself on his physical fitness and how his body looks, although he makes sure to keep himself to where his muscles all look natural.✕ Hollows/Arrancars - While he doesn’t like when they target him, he admires the way they live and the rules of their very existence: only the strong prevail. It’s a philosophy that he understands and has even had to practice growing up. Should he ever have to, he wouldn't mind working alongside Hollows or Arrancars, as long as they didn't try to eat or kill him but he knows that's always a risk with them.✕ Extreme Sports - This is paired with his love of sports bike in that Alex enjoys the adrenaline rush and high risks situations that comes with participating in these sports. If he's not riding his bike, partying at clubs, fighting in underground fighting rings, or practicing his martial arts and working out in the gym then he's most certainly out doing some kind of crazy and stupid stunt.
Dislikes:✕ Halloween - While most people dislike Halloween because of the terror and spookyness that comes along with it, which Alex would genuinely enjoy. No he dislikes the holiday for a whole nother set of reasons and that being that it’s ruined by his own existence. He was born on Halloween and he was never a fan of his birthday nor the memories that accompany it.✕ Vandenreich Quincy - While he’s never met any personally, he’s heard of the tales of the Quincy who serve their Holy Emperor like some sort of god. From what he knows of them, he hopes he never has to deal with them as he thinks they’re all just a bunch of crazy cultists serving an even crazier self-proclaimed god.✕ Laziness - Alex hates being lazy, always trying to be productive or busy whenever he has free time. If he ever finds anyone that he knows or close to him being especially lazy and unproductive then he’ll also try and inspire others to get past their laziness and do something useful with their time in a meaningful way.✕ Sweets - Alex is not a big fan of most sweet things. While he finds some tolerable, he tends to decline most candies and pastries offered to him, mostly because he just doesn’t enjoy the overwhelming amount of sugar in them and how they taste, as well as their poor nutritional value.✕ Adopted Father - Another group he’s never really met but he knows their type. People who think they’re taking the moral high ground and justify their actions through their own skewed standards of the world. He also hates this when someone does it in a fight as history and personal experience has often shown that this just leads to the obvious and most likely victor’s downfall and subsequent death.✕ Speeches - Long, boring monologues or elaborately set up plans and briefs, Alex hates having to sit through both, especially when he could be doing something better with his time. And should the former happen in the middle of a fight, well that’s a sure fire way of pissing him off and getting him to go at you with much more force than before.✕ Waiting - Again, Alex hates sitting around and doing nothing, always wanting to do something better with his time than just sitting on his ass for something to happen. If it were up to him, he’d make shit happen, get the ball rolling and see where it goes from there. It’d be a lot more entertaining that way.✕ Leashes - Not in the literal sense, Alex hates being restricted and told what he can and can’t do, preferring to be left to his own devices unless he is properly incentivized to do whatever the hell it is that someone wants to do, and even then he’d prefer to achieve whatever goal or mission he’s given his own way.
Flaws:✕ Arrogant - Alex is quiet the arrogant bastard with him thinking he’s the best fighter and assassin there is, and he’s never had a reason not to be with all his experiences and evidence pointing to this being true although he’s only ever tested himself against people from the Living World and has yet to fight very many other spiritual beings.✕ Flirty - Alex is the biggest flirt and he’ll often chase after a pretty face. Pair this with his arrogance and stubbornness and it’s quite hard to get rid of him if he’s taking a liking to you although more often than not, he’s simply just flirting to be an annoyance or to tease you. Still, that doesn’t change the fact that he does flirt quite often with those he’s attracted to.✕ Stubborn - When Alex makes his mind up or sets himself out to do something, it’s very hard to get him to change course. And when it comes to fighting, he’s even more stubborn, like he doesn’t know when he’s outmatched or that it’s wiser for him to stay down. Instead, no matter how many times you beat him down, he’ll keep fighting to the bitter end, whether that be running himself into exhaustion or being met with death.✕ Pervert - Going along with his flirting, Alex can also be a bit dirty minded and is never very subtle with his hints and intentions. More often than not, he’ll make a few dirty jokes here and there while he’s flirting with you and he seems to have no shame about it.✕ Blunt - Alex prefers to be straightforward, often getting right to the point of matters, whether this be in his personal life or with his jobs. He hates tiptoeing around subjects and people and often gets in trouble or makes certain situations worse thanks to his bluntness and unfiltered comments.Habits:✕ Flirting - Again, Alex has a habit of often flirting with those he thinks are pretty or cute and chasing after them, even though he’s not ever really looking to pursue anything long term or permanent. He just enjoys being a flirt and teasing others, especially if he’s able to get any kind of reaction out of them.✕ Smoking - Whenever he’s especially annoyed or pissed off, or just really bored, he’ll often go somewhere private and smoke a cigarette. He does his best to cover up the smell and not smoke as much as he does but it is one of the few stress relievers that doesn’t involve him beating in a skull or destroying another punching bag.✕ Cracking his knuckles and neck - Whenever he’s anxious and is feeling ready to just leap into action and start throwing punches, Alex will start cracking his knuckles and neck, also using it as an intimidation tactic to warn others that he’s ready to get things started in a physical and beat down sense of the word.✕ Messing with his hair - A habit that’s come from him letting his hair be as long as wild as it is, he’s often pushing his bangs out of his face, especially during a fight. Or he’ll just end up fiddling with it whenever he’s bored, like having to sit through speeches. He’ll also, very rarely, take the time to straighten out his hair and untangle it when he’s especially annoyed.✕ Glaring - Whenever he's deep in thought, Alex ends up glaring without really meaning to and is just something that happens out of habit. Those that don't know him could often mistake this for him being upset with them or even just dislike him, although most of the time he isn't even aware of what he's doing or that you've noticed him doing so, although he wouldn't really care if you had a problem with it.✕ Grunting - Alex being as disrespectful as he is, will often respond to questions and comments that he doesn't really care to answer or doesn't want to answer with nothing more than a few grunts or growls if he really doesn't like the individual or whatever was asked or told to him.Fears:✕ Being Weak. - Due to the way he was trained and all the psychological conditioning he'd gone through from a very young age, Alex never wants to be seen as being weak in any way, shape or form. Whether he be physically or mentally weak, he won't allow himself to be portrayed in that light and will do whatever he can to correct it if he ever is.✕ Adopted Father. - With as much hatred as he has for the man who brought him up there is an equal amount of fear, for Alex has personally seen and experienced the cruelty of the bastard he regretfully calls his father. This fear is also what causes Alex to be cautious in his approach to trying to thwart his father's plans instead of doing so as hastily as he usually does.✕ Claustrophobia. - A fear that he developed due to several punishments he'd received when he was younger and has never grown out of. While he's somewhat aware of it, he hasn't really confronted this fear and isn't completely aware of how bad his fear is, unaware that should he get be in a confined space for too long he'll end up freezing in place and panicking.✕ Emotional Attachments. - As much as Alex parties and enjoys the occasional flirting and hookups, Alex does his best to keep most people at arms distance from him, worried about what might happen if he let someone get close and become important to him. There's also a dose of paranoia fueling this as well as he figures an attachment like that could be used to get to him more easily.✕ Being Found. - Not very many people actually know Alex's name as he often just goes by the nickname that he earned when he was still young, "Manes", taken after his head of long and wild purple hair. He has gone by it since then and it's what many have only ever known him as. Only a select few know his real name either by them learning it or he himself disclosing it to them.Goals:✕ Assassinate at least one important high ranking member of another faction. - What better way to prove one's own skill as an assassin than by completing a job that requires him to kill some high ranking official or member of the other factions within either the living or spiritual world. However it wouldn't be enough to just kill them, he'd have to do it without alerting others and silently extracting himself once the mission was accomplished.✕ Become a reliable assassin. - Alex wishes to prove himself as a successful and trustworthy assassin that can and will get any job he is presented with done, whether it be from personal clients or from his superiors. When it comes to all matters concerning this, it is probably the only time Alex seems to act with a modicum of professionalism.✕ Create his own martial arts. - A goal that is fueled more so by jos own ego than anything else. While he's trained in a couple of different styles of martial arts and hand to hand combat, he figures that there have to be other methods of fighting that would fully make use of his combat prowess.✕ Kill his Father. - While he did manage to escape from his adopted father's grasp, the old bastard is sure to still be alive and most certainly plotting some way to bring Alex back into his clutches and punish him. Alex isn't going to sit idly by and let that happen. Whenever he's not taking up contracts or completing work assignments, he's doing what he can to take steps towards taking out his father.✕ Dismantle his Father’s Empire. - He knows he won't be able to achieve his goal of killing his father as long as the old man has his extensive resources and networks that his criminal empire provides him with, so most of the steps Alex takes towards killing his father are also steps taken towards destroying this underworld empire as well. Once this is achieved then his father will be severely crippled and Alex can begin taking proper steps toward killing him.

Overall Personality:In all, there are two sides to Alexander "Manes" Keres. The first is the one that most people who run into him or have only met him a few times will interact with and that is the side of Alex that enjoys to live his life and party when he can, however he can. Most would assume that Alex is just some free spirit with a rough face and he's fine with people assuming such things as he often hardly ever sees these people more than a few times. Those who Alex has to regularly interact with are those that he is and has most likely worked with for a good while and if they do then they've seen the side of Alex that takes his job and position seriously and professionally as well as with a certain degree of pride.Depending on who you are and if you are interested in him, Alex is likely to just flirt with you just to get a reaction or simply ignore you altogether if you don't. Regardless of whether you are interested in him or not, as well as if you just met him or have known him for quite a while, he'll always be straightforward and blunt with you, not really caring how you feel or would be affected by this bluntness. Aside from that, if you're someone he knows and works with then he usually stays professional and hardly ever flirts, although he is likely trying very hard to keep quiet if there's anyone that he has a liking to.Alex hardly ever actually takes a real liking to anyone but there are a few ways one could put themselves in a good light with him and maybe even get along with. Those being people that have either reciprocated his flirting in kind, give him a rather amusing reaction to his flirting, or in the cases of those having to work with him, showing and treating him with the respect that would come with his position will often have him thinking more highly of you, even if he doesn't express or show it.Most people who meet Alex in the club and nightlife scene wouldn't really have to worry about staying in his good standing as he likely forgets about them within the next couple of days. However, unlikely as it is, if one has made a rather good impression on him during one of his nightly escapades and they are trying to keep in touch with him as well as stay in his good graces then they'd have to seek him out. Depending on how they go about this, that in itself may impress Alex and have him thinking more highly of you although he may be somewhat more suspicious and cautious of you than the first couple of times he may have met with them. To alleviate this suspicion, simply expressing that you wish to party and enjoy his company as he goes about bar and club hopping is the right way to go.When it comes to those that work with him, then expressing and showing a passion for the field you work in as well as just wanting improve yourself in terms of whatever it is you specialize in will definitely make him think even more highly of you and he might even offer to help however he can, whether it be with training or acquiring materials and information that you may need.Of course, as hard as it is to get on his good side and make him think of you in a positive light, it is very simple to get on his bad side and piss him off. The quickest and easy way to do this is by simply acting as if you're inherently better than him just because of who or what you are. While only a few can get away with acting like this with him, just because of certain scenarios or situations, those numbers are still very little and Alex will not put up with it.Continuing to belittle him, even after he has shown it isn't warranted, is a sure fire way to having Alex simply hate you. If you're a superior or have proved yourself to actually be better than him then he will be somewhat less hostile but still won't like or think very much of you if you continue to insult him in ways that besmirches his skills. There's also the fact that if someone who is above him tries to use their power over him as a way to leash and restrict him then he'll more than likely just end up disobeying anything he's told.Along with that, if someone who knows his actual identity as well as has connections to his father and threatens to rat him out can consider themselves on his hit list. Any kind of blackmailing like that will surely mean you have a death wish and that you truly have no intentions of treating Alex as an ally. If that's so then he will do what he can to put you in a coffin that he'll lock up tight and toss into an underwater trench.Aside from that, there are a few small things that can also get to him although these are more like small annoyances than something that would drive him to killing you. He'll often shut up bullshit whenever he hears it, not really wanting to deal with running circles around people. That ties along with him hating when people hesitate in whatever they wish to speak about and instead just "beat around the bush" so to say.When it comes to his personality quirks, Alex is often messing with his hair whenever he's bored or just has nothing to do. While he actually makes an effort to keep his hair somewhat neat and presentable nowadays and as much as he hates keeping his hair like that, he'll often just mess with it and end up leaving it looking like a mess one way or another. Aside from that, there isn't really much else he's seen doing unless he wants you to notice him.As mentioned before, while Alex may be a huge flirt, he hardly ever really lets anyone get close enough to him for his flirting to ever really get beyond that. There's also the fact that he actually does consider himself to have a certain type of guy he wishes to be with if he ever did allow himself to get close enough to someone. However, the odds of that happening while his father is still alive are very low and being his friends is also equally rare as he tends to just act like an ass with everyone he isn't forced to work with.With all that being said, Manes is a closed off individual that makes himself appear much more easy-going than he really is as he leads his darker and shadier life with his goal of eliminating his father and proving his worth in Xcution fueling most of his decisions and how he truly leads his life. For those that do get to know him, they'll realize how lonely he can be sometimes and how much he wants to make connections but holds back thanks to all his fears and hardens himself due to it.✕ POWERS ✕
Fighting Style:Having been raised to fight from a young age, he has learned several styles of martial arts, hand-to-hand combat with blades as well as being made proficient with multiple firearms ranging from hand guns to long range rifles. He was also taught how to kill quickly and cleanly although he tends to not really make use of that knowledge, tending to favor a more drawn out and bloody engagement when and if he can. With all these skills under his belt, Manes' has the makings to be a very proficient fighter, experienced combatant, and efficient killer.Despite his skills with range weaponry, Manes' prefers to be a physical fighter although he’ll often enhance his physical attacks with an array of spiritual powers and techniques, although he'll also occasionally use a handgun alongside his hand-to-hand combat. However, should a specific mission or opponent call for it he’ll resort to using long range, high powered rifles to pick off targets, although this is much to his dismay as he prefers to be in the heat of the fight rather than at a safe distance.Depending on whether he’s fighting to take out a target or someone who he just felt like fighting usually determines his approach to a fight. While he has his opponent on the defensive and they’re not a target, he'll be much more aggressive and pressing forward with his attacks, aiming to intentionally inflict as much damage as he can without debilitating his opponent, often sticking to just purely physical moves. Once he thinks his opponent can't put up an adequate fight any longer, he'll then act swiftly and move in for a single finishing blow, which will usually be aimed to knock his opponent unconscious.Should his opponent be a target however, then he’ll be much swifter in his attacks and try to keep the fight as short as possible. He’ll usually aim to strike while his target remains unaware of his presence, always aiming for his first strike to be either a fatal one or severely debilitating. If they survive that then he’ll quickly do what he can to overwhelm them with attacks, ranged or melee. In fact he’ll often use weapons and other items to help him accomplish such a task if required.Should he take on an opponent or target that was more than he'd expected, then he'll begin to rely more heavily on spiritual methods of fighting, usually enhancing himself or his attacks to do so. In these instances, he’ll also likely end up resorting to using his primary Fullbring to help him withstand the attacks of his opponent if they are a much greater caliber than he could normally withstand.His biggest weakness tends to be his temperament as well as being a human, meaning he wouldn’t be able to withstand as much damage as he’d like or that he thinks he can take, often overestimating his actual abilities when compared to other spiritual races. Compare this with his stubborn nature and one could easily goad him into taking an attack that he shouldn’t try and take.When it comes to working with others, it depends on their station and level of power compared to him. And while his powers could make him suited well to working with others in a team, his personality and nature make it nearly impossible for Alex to do so effectively as he’ll usually insist on doing his own thing or being the one in charge if they are of a lower station than him or just viewed as weaker by him.Overall, Manes is a highly skilled killer and fighter, who is trained in both melee and ranged combat, that prefers a straightforward method of approach to get the job done but when push comes to shove, he’s willing to do what it takes to accomplish the mission or take out his target at any cost. Just don’t expect him to try and get along with others, even if he really needs to.
Main Fullbring: Golden Hide of Nemea{Sealed}While his powers are dormant, Manes' fullbring looks like nothing more than a worn and weather, green leather, fur lined jacket which he wears everywhere. It was one of the first things he had earned and gotten for himself, his first semblance of independence from his father and something he has cherished and held onto all throughout his life. The fur lines the edges of the hood, the wrists and along the center of the coat. It also has a few patches of fabric sewn into it, showing how much use and wear it’s been through.{Stage One}When he releases Fullbring Level One, the jacket turns into a traditional looking Greek golden breastplate with an engraving of a lion's head etched into the center. His forearms are also protected with golden bracers while his hands are encased in a pair of golden gloves which have a claw upon each finger. Moving to his lower half, he wears a pteruges, a leather skirt, that reaches all the way down to his thigh, these being black in color instead of gold. Moving down to his legs, his armored protection has also manifested here as well as golden shin guards.
Level One Property: Golden Hide of Nemea, while appearing and seemingly acting as a rather overly decorative armor, has a hidden ability to it that only becomes apparent after some time in an engagement with Manes’. Whenever a portion of the armor is struck by any kind of outside force, spiritual or physical, the armor absorbs all the kinetic energy and stores it within the armor for Manes’ to use later as Momentum. While the armor doesn’t completely cover him at this stage, any section that does, including the nonmetal portions, have this absorption ability. Momentum scales in percentages, based off his OS, with 100% of his OS equaling 100% Momentum, although Momentum can exceed 100% and caps at 3x his RS (200%). For every attack sustained by the armor, the amount of Momentum stored is based on the strength of the technique or attack used. If the attack’s OS has a difference of 100 less than Manes’ own OS or exceeds it, then the attack loses 10% of it's Momentum which is then stored in the armor while attacks that are much less than that will have 20% of their Momentum absorbed by the armor. This does not negate the attack in any way but merely lessens the impact strength and force with which Manes' is hit with. Collisions with hard surfaces or objects at speeds of 300 or higher will also be absorbed by the armor, storing 15% Momentum for such instances.
While the armor has Momentum stored up, the user can spend Reiatsu to increase the impact strength of their natural melee attacks (punches, kicks, headbutts, ect.). Doing so also makes their physical attacks spiritual in nature, substituting Strength for Reiatsu Strength while using Momentum. This increase is equal to Manes' RS plus the amount of Momentum used from what the armor has stored, the effect starting at 25% for 100 Reiatsu and then increasing in increments of 150 Reiatsu for every additional 25% Momentum used. The downside to using this is that the user will experience stamina drain at a slightly increased rate and once the user expends Reiatsu to use Momentum, that Momentum is then deducted from the armor.{Stage Two}When he releases his Fullbring into Level Two his armor changes drastically into a full suit of golden plate armor that reaches from head to toe. Starting with the most notable change, his armor now provides a helmet that takes on the shape of a lion's head, with the mouth being able to open and close. Attached to the helmet is also a wild and luscious mane of hair that reaches around his neck and down his back like an actual lion's mane would. Next, his torso is now completely covered by the armor as the breastplate is now accompanied by a large pair of pauldrons with leather strips that stick close to his arms, which is also being covered by a light layer of interlocking chains. The chains lead all the way down his arm and into the gauntlet that also has the same clawed fingertips as its previous stage. Finally, his legs and feet are also completely encased in metal, while still maintaining the pteruges that now appear as a more decorative piece rather than actual armor.Secondary Fullbring: Maw of the Lion
Level Two Properties:{The Claws That Pierce The Hide}The first additional property added onto the armor by the second level of release allows Manes' a finer control of the Momentum stored by the armor. By spending 175 Reiatsu and deducting at least 50% Momentum from the armor, Manes' can imbue an object with the amount of Momentum deducted. The OS of the object then becomes equal to the Momentum deducted. Objects enhanced with Momentum in this way can be used for attacks or as a shield against lesser OS attacks. These items have no set class and have a durability equal to the Momentum spent. Manes' can also split the Momentum used to increase the speed of thrown objects but for a Reiatsu cost of 200, while not exceeding twice the objects base speed. However, should Manes' be struck with these objects, then the armor will be unable to reabsorb the Momentum of these objects. This cannot be used with onsite items.{The Arrow Ricochets Off The Hide}When being struck by an attack while the armor has at least 100% Momentum stored, then Manes' can spend 200 Reiatsu to release all the Momentum stored in an explosive wave of force with a 30 feet radius. He can increase this by 15 feet for every 50% of Momentum expended after the initial 100%, increasing the base cost by 50 Reiatsu for every 50% of Momentum used. This wave of force has an OS equal to Manes' RS plus the Momentum that was expelled from the armor and a base speed of 800, which increases by 25% with every 50% of Momentum spent. This explosion of force cannot be directed however and goes out in all directions with Manes' at the center. Additionally, expelling Momentum like this leaves the armor temporarily unable to absorb anymore Momentum for the next two post, as it needs to cool off.{A Flash Of The Hide}Whenever Manes' uses a stepping technique he can pay 200 Reiatsu and expend Momentum to add to the speed of the used stepping technique. For every 15% of Momentum expended, increases the stepping technique's multiplier by x1, to a maximum of x10. Increasing the speed of stepping techniques in this way causes quicker stamina drain and counts as two uses of a stepping technique in a post.{Sealed}When sealed, Manes’ secondary fullbring appears as a sterling silver ring with an oval onyx stone in the center of the ring, resting on the index finger of his right hand. It’s one of the other few items he keeps on him at all times, an accessory given to him by his adopted father as a sign that he intends for Manes to take over the underworld empire he has raised.{Maw of the Lion}When released, the ring covers Manes’ hand and becomes a silver, black and gold gauntlet in the shape of a lion’s head with its mouth open as if roaring fiercely. The eyes of the lion occasionally glow with green energy. The inside of the lion’s mouth can’t be seen very well but it occasionally sounds like a low, rumbling growl can be heard emitting from it.Other Techniques:
Property: Maw of the lion is a much simpler fullbring, although it still uses Momentum. When at least 10% Momentum is stored in the armor, the eyes on the Maw of the Lion will glow green. Once they do Manes' can then use the stored Momentum to charge and fire a more focused blast of force that is similar in speed to a shockwave. The OS of this force wave is still equal to Manes' RS. He can is this by expending additional 10% Momentum, which can then be added onto the OS of the shockwave, to a maximum of 2x RS. Firing these force projectiles costs 100 Reiatsu and for an additional 100 Reiatsu, increase the speed of the shockwaves by the Momentum used, up to double the speed of a shockwave. History:{Chapter Ⅰ}Alexander Keres never knew his real family. In fact he’s not even sure if Keres is his true family name as it was the only thing he’s been addressed as by the people who ran the orphanage, whom he was certain had been the ones to give him the name. The orphanage itself was rather poorly maintained by the people who ran it and they were just as bad as the housing itself as they never seemed to actually care about the children that were left there.
This neglectful environment caused all the children to grow up with the mindset of having to defend themselves as the older and bigger ones would often bully and beat up on the younger, smaller and much weaker children, Alexander included. However unlike most of the kids at his age, he learned to fight back much quicker and with a lot more aggression and ferocity than just about every other child in the orphanage. This would often lead to some kids having to be hospitalized and eventually drew the eye of an odd visitor to the orphanage.
After one of these many brutal fights between the children, the orphanage had gotten some rather unwelcome visitors. At least that was the impression Alexander had gotten from the way that the owners of the orphanage were reacting to the group of imposing men that had knocked on the doors of the entrance. When Alexander finally got a good look at them, he could tell they were the unruly type as they all looked big and imposing. Their leader was the most intimidating of all not from his looks but from his presence. He was definitely a man with a lot of power and he knew it.
Alexander watched from a hiding spot as the owners of the orphanage quickly paid the leader quite a large amount of cash, which only made him wonder why they lived in such poor conditions if they had money like that stashed away. However Alexander was still a bit too young to understand what he was witnessing. His spying was quickly interrupted as the friends of a particular bully he'd not only injured but embarrassed in front of all the orphans pulled him away to try and get their revenge.
The ensuing fight went like how many other of Alexander's fights went; bloody and brutal. While he'd been too busy fighting for his life, Alexander's ruckus had drawn the attention of the group and their leader who was quite impressed with the ferocity of the young boy. A decision had been made then and there that would forever change the boy's life and he soon found himself being carried away and thrown into the car with the men. It seemed he was being adopted.
Alexander soon learned the name of his adopter, Armando Venturini, as well as learning that his new adoptive father was the head of a rather large crime family. Turns out the Venturini sponsored a number of businesses all over the world and occasionally some of their beneficiaries decide not to pay the family back and go rogue. Such was the case for the owners of the orphanage who’d had a previous business with the Venturini that they’d skipped town on which led to the day that Alexander had been adopted, where they had tracked the owners down to get their retribution.
Of course, Alexander wasn’t all too excited to be adopted by Mr. Venturini, especially after hearing that it was a bit of a hobby of the Venturini leader to take in strays to then recruit and train into valuable members of the family. In fact there were still many other kids that Alexander had met that were around his age during his years growing up under Armando’s care although he’d hardly gotten along with any of them as it seemed like the best got some sort of favoritism. He’d left one hellish household just to end up in another.{Chapter ⅠⅠ}A month or so after Alexander had arrived at the Venturini Manor, he was then put into several more than questionable classes although he was still made to learn normal things as any other child his age would however at a much more rapid pace and falling behind in his studies meant a rather unforgiving punishment during his martial lessons. To top it off he was also now on a very strict and disciplined schedule, his every hour, minute and second planned out for him.
To say his life quickly became even harsher was an understatement. He was a rather poor academic which quickly became apparent to his tutors after the first few lessons. This didn’t help out his martial lessons at all, which much to his surprise and shock, he was also struggling at despite his abnormal strength. Sure for a kid his age and size, he had quite an advantage in terms of power however all the martial arts lessons were taught in a mixed group of younger and older kids, with the instructor often pairing the poorer performing students up with older, more experienced and trained teens who had no qualms about using their full might against a smaller and weaker opponent. They especially didn’t hold back when they realized that Alex was quite strong compared to his peers and would use many different techniques to embarrass and take him down.
Add this with the punishments from his poor academics, and Alex quickly grew even more bitter and hateful towards his peers as he grew into his early teens. At this point he’d paid attention to what they were taught during their martial arts classes, picking up and utilizing techniques used against him. He’d subjugate every opponent with brutal and precise moves, having no mercy or sympathy for anyone. He was also the top of his group when it came to academics, impressing all of his tutors and peers. He had also begun his training with live weapons, quickly doing what he could to master that to avoid further punishment, showing promising results.
By the time he’d reached his mid-teens, he’d been selected as one of the top candidates from his group to begin learning how to harness his spiritual powers, an aspect of training that had surprised and shocked him yet something he quickly took too, seeing it as nothing more than another aspect of his life to now master. And so he worked hard at it to do just that, becoming quite skillful with all the base techniques he was taught.
Near the end of his teens, he was given something unexpected. Gifts from his adoptive father in the form of a worn, fur-lined leather jacket, and a single, silver ring with an onyx stone embedded in it. He was told that they were his going away gifts and the ring a symbol of who he was and where he was from, should he ever run into trouble. Confused by all this, it was then that Alex realized that he was now being given his first test as a member of his father's family. His first assignment; assassinate a rival in Japan and then return with proof. Failure to bring proof or to return meant death for him. But that was the least of Alex's worries now. In his mind, he was free. And so with his freedom, he took off to Japan, finding himself in Karakura Town and trying to figure out where to start his life.
