Devouring random spirits? Yeah, that's not gonna fly. Not when Jin is around. He was going to help and protect those spirits. He was a Bount, and his goal was to protect his race, but while he was at it, why not protect the humans as well. Those who were strong and had power were supposed to protect the weak. That's what Jin came to believe after his training. The power he had gained from it was to protect the weak, and that was what he was going to do now. He walked the streets of Tokyo, searching out these beings who were wreaking havoc here. They weren't going to devour anymore random spirits. Not under his watch.
Jin stopped and stood, gazing around at the area. He could feel reiatsu all around. Powerful reiatsu. Whatever it was that was causing this would be powerful. He couldn't mess around too much with these things. He knew that these beings would be troublesome if he didn't take them seriously. This was bad. Jin didn't even know anything about what was causing this. He knew that Shada Hollow could be seen by humans, but if they were causing these attacks, then there would be much more panic than there was now since they would be seen as they attacked. The Shada Hollow couldn't have been causing this. He had a feeling it was something else. Something really powerful and much different from what he knew existed in all three worlds.

Craten decided to take a walk around and see what the disturbances outside were all about. He had sensed something going on, with the different reiatsu's seeming to appear and cause havoc. Craten's continuous release of reiatsu would probably attract anything that could sense reiatsu. This could be to his advantage since it would draw out the things causing trouble. Although he was not strong, his power was and that would allow him to defeat his opponent if he came upon one. The fact that he stood out made it all the better in this situation since he would be spotted and targeted easily. If it wasn't for his bluish-white skin and bald head, it was the bluish-white knight armor he wore. Thought the giant sword on his back would certainly be something that stood out as well. Craten however didn't care as he walked around rubbing his stomach in search of the issue.
"UURRRAAAAGGGHHHH!" a voice yelled, punching towards Craten from out of nowhere. It was coming, a huge fist. Literally, gigantic. The fist was larger than Craten's whole body. He REALLY had to find a way to get away from this attack. If he got hit by that fist, he was going to explode and die like all Failures would. Then again, even if he was a human, it would probably kill him. Anyone could tell that the fist had enough power to shatter all the bones in a body with a single blow. That was how tough the punch was. The one that it belonged to was roaring. The fist was black, and so was the skin of the Akki with blue spiked hair, long, and glowing red eyes. He was HUGE, muscular, and HUGE. Literally over twenty feet tall. Whatever the hell he was, this guy was a GIANT. How had he grown so big?! Did Hell really create monsters like this?! What made it worse was that the large chains were wrapped around his arms. It would hurt even more with a chain punch.
Meanwhile, two enemies simultaneously appeared next to Jin. One of them was a big guy like who Craten was fighting. Identical in appearance, even. The other was smaller, but his fingernails were clawed, and his body was yellow. He was bald, his eyes glowed red. He was muscular anyway, and his skin was scaly, spiky scaly though. The guy was ugly, as all Akki were. His chains were wrapped around his arms. The yellow Akki roared, but suddenly died, falling to the ground with a hole in his head. A bullet hole. From a gunshot. A man in a black leather coat (unzipped), a black underarmor long sleeve, black leather pants, and black boots stepped out. He had short and thick hair, almost at medium length though, and his face was concealed by a white phantom mask. He looked at Jin and Jin's opponent, and then started walking away. The big Akki ignored him, and punched towards Jin.

Jin stopped and stared at the two new enemies who appeared before him. They both looked pretty ugly, but then again, they also looked pretty strong. Who were they? What were they? Jin simply stared at the two, unsure of what to say or do. He didn't want to attack first because he wasn't sure what these things could do. His best bet was to let them attack, but it would be pretty troublesome since there were two of them. He silently moved his hands into the pockets of his trenchcoat, acting as if he was just resting them there. In actuality, he was moving his hands into his trenchcoat to grip the convert-a-weapon within it. If he was attacked, he wasn't going to be defenseless. He continued staring, waiting for a movement from the two when suddenly, the smaller being fell to the ground dead. Jin saw a figure dressed in black suddenly step out from nowhere. The figure stared at Jin before walking away. Who was that? "Hey wa-" Jin was about to call out when suddenly, the big one punched towards him. Jin quickly jumped to the side, moving away from the fist. He just barely made it.
He landed, skidding away as he pulled the convert-a-weapon from his trenchcoat. It instantly transfigured into the forked tonfa blades with the golden hilts, and he gripped both in each hand. This one looked tough. He wasn't going to underestimate it, and so he decided to release. He could then take out this guy and find out who that other guy was. Jin didn't think that he was an enemy because he had taken out one of these things, but Jin still wanted to know who he was. He should probably worry about one thing before the other though. It would be best to focus his attention on this thing first. "Ziege Dich, Hitze" Jin proclaimed as he pulled the golden yoyo from his pocket and let it fly forward on the string. From it was released a yellow misty humanoid figure which disappeared as soon as it had appeared. As soon as the figure disappeared, the air around Jin grew misty and hazy. It would be pretty hard for his opponent to see him now to land a hit. The air around his tonfa also grew hazy and misty. They were glowing with a golden aura as well. He was focusing heat into them so that he could have better cutting power. "So I guess its you causing all the trouble around here...?" Jin asked. He took a defensive stance, gripping his tonfa blades by their mounted hilts so that the blades were pointing in a reverse fashion. This guy. He troubled Jin. He didn't seem like he would be a pushover.

Craten hearing the yell of the Akki, instinctively dove out of the way. During the dive he curled into a ball and rolled as he hit the ground. Then he popped up and looked at the Akki that had just thrown the punch. He had never seen an Akki before and in fact he actually didn't know what it was. It was very large, but they say the bigger they are the slower they are. Though Craten wasn't all that fast himself either so he would have to rely on his powers for now. "Now I see the issue. Your what's been making all the reiatsu fluctuations around me. Well now it's time for you to go," Craten said. He drew the sword on his back and held it in his right hand. As he did so he released a white flood of reiatsu towards the Akki. If the Akki was struck then all it would feel like was a small breeze. Maybe not even that because of how large he was. However it still would do its worth if he was struck. The chemicals in Craten's reiatsu would begin to be absorbed into the Akki's black skin and start changing into proteins to attach themselves to the cells in the Akki's body. Once that would happen the true Deception would begin. "Let's see what your made of," Craten stated.

Both Jin and Craten made the same mistake. They assumed they could just jump out of the way and avoid everything. With such a massive fist from such a massive enemy, it was OBVIOUS that the enemy's physical strength was insane. And, it was. The punches from both Akki resulted in massive blasts of rubble and rock as the ground beneath shattered. The force of the attack blew air up everywhere, and it sent Craten flying away. His reiatsu got into the enemy, but he was being blasted towards a wall. Not good. If he hit the wall, that would be enough to make him unstable, and he would explode and die. If that happened, clearly he was dead and couldn't do anything. The giant Akki roared and started beating on his chest. He roared again at Craten. "PUNY BALD ONE, DO YOU HONESTLY BELIEVE YOU CAN DEFEAT ME WITH SOME WEAK REIATSU WISP THAT CAN'T EVEN DAMAGE MY SKIN?!"
Meanwhile, the masked figure looked back as Jin said wait. It was in that moment that Jin would catch a glimpse of the mask, the phantom-like, emotionless mask, before of course his adversary's punch hit the ground. The force of the blow sent him back, straight into a wall behind him. The ground shattered and pieces of debris and rubble and asphalt flew everywhere. Ah, right. The physical strength was enormous. The Akki was clearly very strong. It continued to roar and beat on its chest. "DARK SKINNED OLD MAN!" he roared at Jin. "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU CAN DO TO ME WITH THOSE PUNY BLADES?! YOU CAN DO NOTHING! NOTHING AT ALL!" The Akki roared again. He was clearly pissed off. Wait...did he just call Jin old?! He called him an old man! Jin wasn't even that old! Well technically he was. But he didn't look it! That was a bit offensive.
Both Akki are Berserker Types. Class 2. 1200 SP each. They both share these stats. Don't worry. While they may be Class 2, I used the Berserker Type because it creates weak enemies. These guys are barely the strength of a Class 6. The only thing they have is physical strength. With their speed, as you can see, that's easy to defend against. Look out though, because they do have high speed regeneration.

Jin pushed himself up from the rubble of the wall he had crashed into. He stood up, keeping his eye on the beast in front of him. That was one strong punch. I didn't even get hit by it and I was sent flying back. The wind force from it was strong. That means I can't mess around with this guy. Jin lifted his right arm, holding it at chest level with the tonfa blade held in a reverse grip. "DARK SKINNED OLD MAN! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU CAN DO TO ME WITH THOSE PUNY BLADES?! YOU CAN DO NOTHING! NOTHING AT ALL!" Jin heard the taunt clearly, and he simply smiled at it. "Hmph. We'll see about that." Jin said, focusing heat into the tonfa blades, which then started to glow with a radiating golden aura. "Don't worry if you smell ashes in the air. You'll get used to it when you become apart of it." Jin said, retaliatating with his own taunt. He was gone, moving at full speed after that. This guy was big, really big, and so he figured that there wasn't much speed behind him. Jin was able to dodge that punch. It was the wind force from it that had actually gotten him. That meant that this guy had alot of strength. More of that than speed.
Jin was going to use the speed to his advantage this time. Plus, with the air around him being distorted by his doll, it would be even harder to see him coming. Jin rushed in towards the Akki's right, and quickly slashed forward as he neared. He was five feet from the Akki then, and as he slashed, a large blast of orange mist was released. It rushed forward towards the Akki, it's size compressed slightly and shaped to resemble a blade. The large mist was now a wave, rushing into the Akki standing before Jin and threatening to consume it in it's heat. The powerful aura of heat surrounding the mist was strong enough to form a distortion around it as it came. It made it appear larger than it actually was. It looked as though a large tidal wave was flying towards the Akki at such close range. "Hitzewelle Zwei." Jin muttered as he slashed. Jin then stopped himself and leaped backwards, moving away so that he wasn't hit by that large fist in retaliation if the beast did survive. He wasn't going to count it out yet. It seemed to powerful to be defeated by that. Jin had aimed to kill it, but still, he felt as though it would survive. There was alot of mystery behind this creature that made Jin so weary.
"I'm tearing it all down. No structure. No Gods. No Masters. Just pure Anarchy..."
The Akki that Jin faced immediately died. It was big, but too slow, and it didn't have a thick hierro since Akki do not have hierro. As a result, it was completely destroyed, burnt to a crisp. The first blast didn't do much. Sure it scattered burns, but the Akki just roared and screamed, punching wildly around the air, almost hitting Jin several times. The air force was even enough to knock him down not once, but twice. However, as the last attack hit the Akki, he screamed. His body started burning, and after a few seconds, he wasn't ash, but he was burned, and on the ground steaming. Naturally, he was already dead just from that. It was rather impressive to start with, though obviously some people were far more impressive. Future Jin had held a mastery of Hitze far beyond anything that the present Jin could currently accomplish. Grobe Fazit had been proof of that, along with the compositions.
As for the figure, he just started walking away, ignoring what had just happened behind him completely. The coat swayed with his movements. Who was that guy? Why was he there? Why had he helped out Jin earlier by killing the Akki? Plenty of questions. But, with this guy leaving like nothing happened, not even a word, would Jin really get to ask all of them? The guy had also taken out an Akki like it was nothing. The smaller Akki had probably been to make up for the lack of speed of the big one. Jin would have had a lot more trouble if it hadn't died. Obviously, this guy was strong though to have taken it out in one hit. He probably could have taken out both Akki in one hit, but he'd let Jin have the accomplishment of taking out the large one. So then, what would happen now?
As the ground exploded, Craten used it to launched himself up and on top of the building that the wall belonged on. However the amount of force was enough that he would have continued moving backwards at a very unwanted rate. The moment he landed on the building top, Craten slammed his sword into the top of the wall. He slowed himself down, leaving a gash in the roof of the building. Craten watched as the Akki beat his chest and claimed his power was weak. "Only the deceived shall be the one to fail," he said as he stood and faced the Akki. For what the Akki didn't know was that now he was in trouble. Having not tried to block Craten's reiatsu, he led himself into a doomed path. Craten jumped off the building and landed in front of the Akki. He had to be sure that the punches wouldn't be near him or else everything would just become worse. In order to avoid these attacks he would have to run and get behind the Akki. This didn't look to be the problem since he was large and usually large creatures such as him with extremely strong physical strength would be slow. In assessing this he took off, running around leaving a good amount of distance between them. It would take him a second or two to get behind the Akki, but this was all he needed since the second phase was taking place as he did this. If the Akki tried to attack, it would be at a slower pace and allow Craten enough time to avoid. However to the Akki it would be that he just missed. Then his balance would begin to go and it would feel to him like he was stepping on gelatin or foam. This was where Craten was the most deadly.
"Ehhhh?" The Akki demanded. "You think something stupid like that will stop me?" He felt things slowing, he felt the ground wobbling. Obviously. His balance was tipped. But, he didn't seem to care. "The world is spinning, BUT I'M STRONG! I'M SURE IF I KILL YOU, IT WILL ALL STOP SPINNING!" The Akki laughed, and blasted both fists into the ground at once as Craten neared. The ground around him shattered completely, leaving an enormous crater. A powerful wind blasted Craten away, and huge chunks of rock and rubble flew at him. He was heading for a building again. However, that wasn't all. From all sorts of directs, large rocks were coming his way. If any hit him, that would be enough force to end this. The force would cause instability, and he would die. That was one of the bad parts about being a Failure. One hit spelled death. And this Akki's physical strength might just get him the one hit.
OOC: Don't forget to keep track of your deception's post count. Put it at the bottom of each post.
Jin stood, twirling his tonfa blades by their mounted hilts. He was waiting and watching to see if his enemy was dead. He had went for the kill, but he was being cautious with these guys. He had never seen any type of spiritual creature like this, and so he was very wary of their abilities. He watched as it screamed out in pain, punching out in random directions. Jin was sent flying back by the bursts of air that soared out from the punches. Strong punches they were. He was sent to the ground once, twice, three times. He decided to just take a knee and wait it out. Finally, when he saw the creature fall to the ground, steaming profusely, he decided to stand. He had been battered not by the creature's punches, but by the wind force generated by them. That was a testament to the creature's skill. Jin stood and began walking over to the creature, forgetting what he had wanted to do after defeating it.
"A tough opponent you were, but just what on Earth were you?" he contemplated as he stood over the downed Akki's body. The burns on it were severe, but the heat hadn't been strong enough to turn it completely into ash. That was another testament to its powers, and to Jin's lack of mastery over his own. Jin hung his head for his downed opponent and then finally remembered what he had in mind to do after defeating his opponent. He quickly looked up, now searching for where the man dressed in black had gone. Where'd he go? He was just here a few seconds ago. Why did he just kill that thing and walk off as if nothing happened? Who is that guy anyway? Jin closed his eyes, deciding to search out the man's reiatsu. He could feel an exceptionally powerful reiatsu. One that felt as though it wasn't being held back. He had never felt such reiatsu here in Karakura Town. Maybe it was the man's, maybe it wasn't. Jin had a lead now, and so he would follow it. He rushed off, still wielding his tonfa in each hand with his doll still active around him. If this guy wasn't an ally, then Jin would have to be ready. He chased after the reiatsu, rushing off to where he thought the man had gone.

"I'm tearing it all down. No structure. No Gods. No Masters. Just pure Anarchy..."
Bang! A shot occurred, echoing out. Jin's movement would have to increase in speed if he wanted to reach wherever that had come from. It had sounded like a very loud gun noise. Wait, a gun? Was it some unrelated murder from humans? Couldn't be. It was a very peaceful area. Why would a murder ever take place here? But, when Jin got there, it became clear that it was the masked man. He held a silver and black desert eagle hand gun in his left hand, and he was moving around wildly. His speed was insane! He far surpassed Jin in every way in terms of speed. And obviously he was skilled, because he was taking on a third of those giant Akki that had showed up. He jumped high over its punch, landing on the arm itself, the barrel of his gun aimed at the mouth. He squeezed the trigger without hesitation, not even saying any words of victory or seeing off. That blew a hole in the Akki's head, and blood splattered out.
The masked man back flipped off, landing on the ground, on his feet. He'd killed that Akki effortlessly. Jin had had to try a bit. It had been generally easy compared to a fight at Jin's level, but it wasn't totally easy. It had taken Jin a bit. And yet, here this guy had beaten down the Akki like it was nothing, killing it in an instant. There'd been a bullet hole in the Akki's chest as well, dead on in the heart. This meant that the earlier shot had been a heart shot, but it hadn't brought the Akki down. However, that just proved something. With that gun, this man was accurate. His powers seemed to be pretty high level for one thing, but he wasn't a Shinigami or anything. He was clearly a human. His reiatsu was not that of any other race. He was human, no doubt about it. So then, who was he? He was just standing there, looking at Jin, who had approached him. What would happen?
Post by Craten Jiko on Mar 13, 2011 21:26:47 GMT -5
Since the Akki was being slowed by Craten chemical reiatsu, he was able to read the Akki's movements and determine that he was going to smash his fists as soon as he got close. In order for him to take advantage of this and get behind the Akki quickly he choose to jump up and above the Akki's fists just as he slammed them down onto the ground. In doing this, the blast of wind shot Craten up into the air, but due to Craten's momentum it shot him over the Akki and behind him. By being behind the Akki it saved him from being not only blasted into the wall, but from the rubble that the Akki caused. Once he landed he spun quickly and slashed into the back side of the Akki's knees, if it even had any, but still the back of the legs which would cause the Akki's movements to slow even more if the slash landed. To be sure not to be backhanded by the Akki if it turned around rapidly, Craten moved back a bit and gripped his sword with both hands. If the Akki did try to backhand him, he would simply slash and attempt to remove the Akki's fist.
