Wait, what was that? Jin heard a bang. It sounded like a gun shot. Wait, that meant that mysterious guy was close. Well, Jin better pick up his pace. Even if he ended up getting winded after this, he had to find out who that guy was! He ran and ran until he finally reached the area. He saw the guy fighting another one of those big creature things. Jin watched the guy's movements. He was pretty fast, and he was fighting as though these things didn't pose a threat. He's strong. That was the only thought going through Jin's head as he watched the guy quickly kill the thing with one shot.
Jin was just standing there staring in awe when he finally noticed that the guy was staring back at him. He could sense his reiatsu, and it was pretty high. It was really high for someone who wasn't any other race. He had to be human or something. Jin couldn't sense any shinigami or hollow reiatsu from him. But if he was human, how did he have such power?! Man, this was something that Jin couldn't even comprehend. He should probably just ask the guy who he was and see if he would get answers. He hoped he didn't try and attack him. He put up his guard just in case, preparing himself in case he did get attacked. "I'm Jin Yamada. If I may ask, who are you?" Jin asked, introducing himself beforehand. Maybe he could also get an answer as to what these things were at the same time? "What are these creatures, and why did they randomly attack tonight?" Jin asked.
"I'm tearing it all down. No structure. No Gods. No Masters. Just pure Anarchy..."
The Phantom Reaper was looking at Jin, but then he looked down at his gun, which he held in his hand. "What an ugly color..." he noted. He looked back at Jin. "They call me the Phantom Reaper." He appeared to be relatively knowledgeable on who Jin was. He basically seemed to know who Jin was, the Bount Leader. Had they met before, maybe? Uncertain. At any rate, he quickly cocked his head to the side to excuse himself, and walked into some kind of nearby building. A guy with thick, almost medium length black hair and black eyes walked back out a few minutes later, wearing black jeans, and a black t-shirt. He still held the desert eagle, but it was gold now. "These creatures are called Akki. They're strong denizens from Hell that escaped. They're just here to feed and kill the way hollows do, except unlike hollows, they're strong. Even Shinigami will have trouble with them, so whoever's strong in the human world needs to take care of them. That leaves it to us, Jin. I'm Souzetsu. Souzetsu Masarao."
Meanwhile, what affected the Akki was the deception aura, not the slash. The slash barely did any damage, and was barely even successful of drawing a couple of drops of blood. The enemy's legs had that much muscle protecting them, that much tightness. Anyway though, he fell to all fours, groaning. He was nauseated? Something like that. Possibly even a bit motion sick. The Akki was strong, but now stuff was finally starting to get to him, and he didn't appear to like it. However, a powerful wind blasted over head. Something else was coming, and would be there in a few minutes. Craten should raise his guard.

The Akki had fallen, this was a good sign. Though after cutting through the back of the legs he noticed that there was little damage. It must be his powers working its gracious ways onto the Akki. Though his sword was meant for breaking through a defense rather than slashing, he would probably have a better time going for one of the better points for harming someone, their kidney's. Though this creature was different in physiology, it probably had some weak point like what hollows and shinigami did. To be check and attempt to injure the Akki more, Craten went to stab his sword into the Akki's kidney. Then he felt a large gust of wind, so immediately he drew back his sword and held it in front of him. He also took a few steps back and looked in the direction the blast of wind came from. However he made sure not to solely focus on that to be sure that it wasn't something to deceive him.
OOC: Is that last part of what Jin is thinking in this post going to happen some day? It would be cool if it did!
IC: Jin just stared at the man before him. He couldn't do anything else but stare. He didn't know what to say to this man. He seemed really mysterious and powerful. No doubt if Jin said the wrong thing, this guy would probably kill him. Jin wasn't trying to get killed. Though he didn't fear death, he feared not being able to complete his goals before he died. He would gladly accept death, but only after his goals were completed. And since at this moment they weren't, Death would have to wait a little longer outside of his door. Now with that all said and done, the man standing before Jin introduced himself. He called himself the "Phantom Reaper." Odd name. Seemed like even more testament to his strength. A phantom was usually like a ghost, silent and hiding in the shadows, and the reaper part suggested he was a killer. So this guy was a very efficient killer. He either killed from the shadows without leaving any trace to his existence or killed so quickly and efficiently that no one knew that he had even been there. It was probably the latter since he was standing here now, visible to Jin. If he killed from the shadows, Jin wouldn't be here talking to him now.
The next thing he knew, the Phantom Reaper cocked his head to the side to excuse himself. Jin nodded, understanding the signal and let him go. He assumed he was going to get something or something like that. Next second, some new guy was walking out. He wasn't dressed like the Phantom Reaper, but Jin could put two and two together to figure out that this guy was the Phantom Reaper. He was still holding a gun. It was too much of a coincidence for the Phantom Reaper to go in with a gun and a guy that was the same height and build as him walked out holding a gun as well. Souzetsu Masarao." Wait, this was Souzetsu Masarao. Jin didn't know him personally, but he had heard him speak over the phone. When Jin had first called Death Inc. to speak to Death-Sama before actually going to meet him. "I...know you. You're the guy who answered the phone when I called to speak to Death." Jin began.
Whoa, it seemed so many new things were happening lately. What was up with these Akki and Hason. Where were these new races coming from? They just seemed to suddenly appear out of nowhere. Had they been in hiding before? Jin didn't know. He was a little worried about them too. The Akki and the Hason were both creatures from hell. That wasn't good. Not good at all. Was Hell this easy to escape from that two new races were able to do it? "What?! They're from Hell?" Jin asked in surprise, his eyes widening. "I thought Hell was supposed to be inescapable. How do they get out?" Jin asked, murmuring the last part to himself. He had thought about something as he had asked that question. His former teacher, Kassen Oro. He was in Hell as well, sent their by the Game Master. Jin wondered if Kassen Oro would come back as well, maybe as one of these Akki or something. Jin didn't doubt it. Kassen Oro was strong, but then again, he was in the deepest pits of Hell, Tartarus. But did that really make a difference for Kassen? He was a survivor. As a Bount, always being hunted, he had to make surviving his life. The strongest Bount to ever live. He even had his powers augmented by the Game Master. With powers from all of the races, who was to say he couldn't escape? Jin wouldn't be surprised if Kassen Oro showed up one day and challenged him to see how strong he had become. To see if he was really ready to lead the race to salvation. If that day did come, Jin would be ready! He would prove to his old teacher just how strong he had become!
"I'm tearing it all down. No structure. No Gods. No Masters. Just pure Anarchy..."
Souzetsu shrugged. "I'd probably shoot you if you weren't an upcoming Executive in Death Inc. It's not that cool to have people know I'm an assassin." Well, that much was pretty easy to piece together. He had loved ones, he wanted to protect them. Total anime Batman or something like that. Protect those close to him by keeping his assassin identity a secret. To have earned an assassin nickname though, some kind of title, how many people had this guy efficiently killed? Really, how many? Well, in the meantime, he also got around to explaining a few things about Hell. "Hell is inescapable." he said. "The only reason anyone would be exiting would be if they were allowed to leave. It's entirely possible that Lucifer himself is allowing a few Sinners to leave, for whatever purpose. I heard that a portal opened up in Menos Forest for Sinners to leave. A select few are being given access to the portal."
Wait, Lucifer was letting people out? That couldn't be good. "Don't worry about it. No one from Tartarus is getting out. We'd already be dead if that were the case. The monsters there are averagely stronger than the Shinigami Captain Commander." Well shit. Right on cue, a black Garganta tore open. Someone else was coming. Souzetsu whirled around to see as a large, hulking figure stepped out. Who was coming?! The guy was large, wearing shinigami type sandles, and gray sweatpants. He wore a blue sleeveless robe, and his skin was sort of orangish. The face was distorted and rather ugly, the eyes a glowing yellow. He had heavy muscles, and was definitely seven or more feet tall. His hair was red, in a short spiked pony tail. He was really buff. The muscles were most noticeable. Who was this guy?! He had two swords crossed and sheathed on his back. "You're right about all of that. Lucifer is letting the strongest of us out. I've come from Las Noches bearing two messages."
Meanwhile, the big Akki was already finished against Craten. But, he wasn't done. Oh, no, not even close. One more enemy stood before him. With black, diamond-like spiked skin, glowing red eyes, and eight horns on each side of his head, pointy ears, this guy looked strong. He had a very skinny figure, but was around nine feet tall. He had chains hanging from his arms, and a huge grin plastered across his face. He had white teeth, perfectly straight, even if the rest of him was utterly hideous. Well, Craten was hideous too. Two hideous guys fighting each other. This guy didn't look the same as the other one. He looked stronger. He was grinning at Craten. "Hey..." he said. "You a Failure? One of them Failure race people? The ones that get eaten up by their reiatsu?"
Post by Craten Jiko on Mar 22, 2011 21:25:05 GMT -5
Suddenly another Akki had appeared in front of Craten. He was tall and skinny and looked stronger. In fact he felt stronger as well as his tone seemed to reflect it as well. He was asked if he was a failure, this was odd since not many knew about his kind or if he was one. "Maybe I am. What's it to you? What are you even?" Craten stated and asked. Though he did ask he wasn't simply going to let this creature push him around. A flood of white reiatsu rushed from Craten at the second Akki, hoping to catch it in the same trap as his friend. Since the other Akki didn't seem to be doing very much movement Craten figured he was done for now, but in order to be certain he stayed where he was so that the effects would remain. If the flood hit the second Akki, it would feel as if it was just a gust of wind. He wasn't sure if the other Akki had watched him or not, but he was pretty sure that he hadn't if he had just shown up.

This new Akki swiped his hand across the air as the wave came, and blasted it apart with some kind of spontaneous release of his own reiatsu. "You can't be serious." he said. "Do I look like the melee type to you? No. I'm a lazy fighter. That's why I'm so thin. My senses are top notch. Trying to sneak your reiatsu like a wind ain't gonna work on me." Oh, crap. He saw through Craten and destroyed the wind. That wasn't good at all. It hadn't penetrated. It hadn't penetrated. It hadn't penetrated! How could Craten counter? He should be panicking possibly around now. If this guy could diffuse his waves, then all he had was a sword. But if this guy was tough, then didn't that mean there was a good chance that Craten would take that one hit, and die? One hit was death to all Failures. "It'sa good thing you're a Failure. Now I know. I hit you once, you're dead."
No worries. He has a lot of SP, but I purposely geared him to be rather weak. He also doesn't have a lot of reiatsu. Saisei Oni is hard for him to keep up. He'll be a huge challenge for you, but it's not impossible to beat him.
Whoa, where did that come from? "Then I guess I'm glad I took the position, though I understand what you mean." Jin said with a smile when Souzetsu stated that he would have shot Jin had he not been the upcoming Executive for Death Inc. That was a little scary to be honest. Anyway, Souzetsu then began explaining what he knew about the Akki. He confirmed Jin's belief that Hell was inescapable, but then he increased Jin's fears by saying that Lucifer himself may have been allowing a few of these Sinners to leave. Wait, what?! Lucifer was letting these guys out?! Why?! Man, if that guy was letting these guys out himself, then that meant something big was coming. Was Luficer going to wage war on the Human World and Soul Society or something. Maybe Soul Society since everyone was always waging war on them. It seemed like they'd never get a break from wars, but then again, they did stab most of the other races in the back. From the Vizard to the Mod Souls to the Bount. It was a never ending list.
"Don't worry about it. No one from Tartarus is getting out. We'd already be dead if that were the case. The monsters there are averagely stronger than the Shinigami Captain Commander." Well, that was good to hear. Jin was relieved to hear that part, though a little saddened. He was relieved since no one that strong would be able to get out, but he was also saddened because Kassen Oro wouldn't be able to come back. He missed his old teacher. He wanted to fight him and show him the powers he had gained before he had died. He was the one that was supposed to have defeated his master. That was how it was for True Bount. The student always defeated the master so that there would only be one True Bount alive. True, there was only one alive now, but still. Jin was the one that was supposed to have made it like that. Jin was saddened that he couldn't show Kassen that he was ready to lead now. He was busy reminiscing these things when suddenly, a black Garganta tore open near them.
"They've come for me..." Jin stated as he whirled around to face the newcomer. The person who stepped out of the Garganta, however, wasn't Kuroi who he had been expecting to come after him personally to kill him. He had pretty much betrayed Sonken Kouhai by joining with Death Inc., but who could blame him! He would rather be in an organization where people didn't look down on him and his race rather than allying with a race that looked down on him at every step. Jin just stared at this man that stood before them. He was so tall. Jin, only being six feet tall had to look up at the man that was standing there. Well, at least he looked like a man. It would be rude to call him a thing despite the appearance he had. It was like that creature Jin had fought before. "You're right about all of that. Lucifer is letting the strongest of us out. I've come from Las Noches bearing two messages." Whoa. Talk about right on time. He he had two messages? Jin was sure he already knew what one of the messages were. This guy was here to give him his death sentence from Kouhai himself.
"I'm tearing it all down. No structure. No Gods. No Masters. Just pure Anarchy..."
"Lucifer is releasing denizens of Hell to watch the world burn." The Akki said. said. "In other words to entertain himself. I don't want you to run and squabble over a nonexistent world destruction threat. And now to my messages. The first is from Sonken Kouhai, King of Las Noches. Death Inc won't succeed with its plans. He has already become aware of them. If you pursue it, you will be slaughtered mercilessly. All of you." Oh, well that was pleasant. Kuroi couldn't have said it more threateningly, himself. This big guy was strong. "I will also inform you, Jin Yamada, that there is a price on your head. The Espada and Envainar will be hunting you. And you will lose your head to us." He shifted his robe shirt a bit, simply so that he could reveal his bare chest a little bit more to both Souzetsu and Jin. What became visible soon was one of those "oh shit" moments.
There was a large black tattoo "1" plastered across his chest, directly over the heart next to a hollow hole. He let the robe shirt slip back into place. He was number one. If he wasn't an Espada, he was that other thing he had mentioned. Envainar. It didn't take a stretch of imagination to assume Kouhai had mobilized a top ten for the Akki as well. "I am the Primera Envainar. Grimoire Acero." Oh, shit. This really wasn't good. For multiple reasons. For one thing, Grimoire here was the strongest Akki. For two, he had said Espada and Envainar both would be taking Jin's head. He was an Envainar. It didn't take a stretch of imagination to realize of course that it would be Grimoire momentarily pursuing Jin. Oh, wow. Really really bad news. This guy was, to say the least, probably a true monster in combat to be at the top like that. What on Earth would happen?

Craten watched as his flood was destroyed in front of him. That’s not good at all since now he had nothing to attack with except his sword. Well maybe that would work better than it had the other one he had beaten. Though he said his senses were top notch so maybe that meant all his senses. If it did then attacking with a sword was useless, but if it didn’t then which sense was the top. It didn’t matter anyway since he seemed to know his one true weakness. Running would be pointless as he wasn’t all that fast anyways plus leaving the other Akki would only allow it to get up and be able to attack again. That would be worse. He had to think and fast so he would be able to defeat him and move on.
Well maybe a light attack and then a counter attack would work for him since that was usually a good way to strike someone. He would have to be careful though as to not get hit by a counterattack of this Akki. Craten decided to give it a try and so he went and slashed across the Akki’s stomach. He only did so lightly, with only enough strength to cause a small wound. He hoped that the Akki wouldn’t take the attack seriously which would allow Craten to deal more damage if he was able to get a good hit in.
First Akki Deception post Count: 6 Phase 1: (1/1) Phase 2: (5/6) Phase 3: (0/3) Phase 4: (?/?)
OOC: I'll post in the canon later. I have class now.
IC: Oh snaps! That was Jin's response to both things that the nameless Akki before him had stated. First that Lucifer wanted to watch the world burn, and second that Sonken Kouhai had put a hit out on him. Jin kinda saw the latter coming, but never anything about the former. His eyes widened all the while as Grimoire spoke, and even as he introduced himself as the Primera Envainar. The Envainar, as Grimoire stated, were another group of beings hierarchically ranked by strength, except these beings were Akki. The new race of beings released from Hell. That was what made Jin fear for his life even more. The fear that had now come over him was that he wouldn't be able to bring his race to salvation before he was killed. He couldn't let them kill him before he could save the Bount race! No! He couldn't let that happen. He just had to get stronger. That's what it meant. He had to become strong enough to fend off the Espada and Envainar that came after him. That was the only thing he resolved to do.
Jin tried to lose his shocked appearance and stared at the Akki with determination and some kind of strength that he pulled up from the depths of his soul for that moment. He was kinda scared right now, so it was hard to look really determined in this kind of situation. "Tell Sonken Kouhai that after I save my race, I will come willingly. That there's no need to hunt me." Jin said. He hoped that Sonken Kouhai would allow it. He doubted it, but then again, Sonken Kouhai was the type to find some kind of pleasure out of everything. He might even allow it. Who knew? Jin was going to test the waters and see just what this man, Sonken Kouhai, would allow. If he agreed, then Jin would be able to save his race before he died. If not, then Jin would die without achieving his goal.
"I'm tearing it all down. No structure. No Gods. No Masters. Just pure Anarchy..."
Instantly, a fist slammed into Jin, smashing him several meters away into the wall. Fast! Grimoire was really really fast! His nose had been shattered instantly by the hit, and it had come out of nowhere in an insane burst of speed. Okay, it was common knowledge that in reiatsu and speed, Kuroi was pretty good. If Jin did some sensing, first thing was first. Grimoire was faster. Next thing, Grimoire's reiatsu was stronger. Stronger than Kuroi's. Kuroi was the Espada that, time and time again, Jin had failed to defeat. He'd never been able to so much as scratch the Segunda, who beat him near death every single encounter, and annihilated him completely. And Grimoire had superior reiatsu to that guy. Whether or not he was stronger didn't even matter. He was within the same league. "Silence." Grimoire said coldly. "There will be no demands from worthless garbage such as yourself." Oh, shit. Grimoire wasn't a kidder.
Kuroi just intimidated with words and glares, and then he went for the kill. Grimoire was more brutal. He did damage before killing. He was messy. Kuroi was efficient and clean. Therefore, Grimoire was less merciful. Souzetsu was instantly in between Grimoire and Jin. Okay, Souzetsu had the same speed as Grimoire. He had a gun aimed at Grimoire. Suddenly however, orange flames materialized in front of Grimoire, moving to surround Souzetsu. Souzetsu jumped away with great speed just in time, right before something got him. Then, it became apparent that those weren't flames. They were Grimoire's arms, striking out so quickly and with such fluid mastery that they appeared to be flames when in movement. "Jigoku No Ato: En-No Kobushi." Souzetsu landed next to Jin with a skid. "We might need to run." he said.
Meanwhile, the Akki simply stepped aside, easily evading Craten's blade. He'd seen everything coming a mile away. The problem here was that his sensory abilities were very good. He knew what it was Craten was going to do with each move. After that, he slammed his fist towards Craten. However, Craten should be aware that basic and predictable counters would not work on this guy, and so he should do something outside of the box. Basically if he tried to do something typical to counter a simple punch towards him, then he'd most likely die against this AKki.
