So that was Kazura’s plan. He aimed to create a wall between himself and Windstarke using Soul Dominance to cause the floor to rise up. It was a good plan, but would only work if he had the Reiatsu Strength to reinforce the wood. As a result, in just a few short moments, the wood wall was being splintered and cracked, beginning to break in places. But Kazura wasn’t intending to just remain hidden behind the wall he made. His plan was to try and create a fire to warm himself up against Windstarke’s, though very weakened, temperature stealing effect.
But Kazura had made a mistake. He tried to create fire. As he vibrated the wood to create fire, the moment those heated tongues licked at the very air Kazura would witness fire itself become ice. Frozen in position, the flames that Kazura hoped to gain warmth from frozen and become a...dark patch? It was obviously ice, but something that was weird about it. Windstarke’s ice was called Black Ice for a reason. It was a special material that absorbed light, creating spots of darkness where light couldn’t reach. The same was happening across the gym as well. Black Frost was beginning to accumulate on the walls, floor, and ceiling of the gym. The lights were blacked out, beginning to cast the room into darkness.
Kazura wanted to approach Luke and Windstarke to use his Stand to deliver a battle ending blow. Unfortunately, his plan didn’t work. The fire he created had turned to ice. The wall he created with Soul Dominance was breaking from Windstarke’s Reiatsu Strength enforced winds. But that wasn’t all the Doll did. ”Hmph. Rakete.” Kazura would hear the Doll say, just as six free floating concentrations of blue reiatsu appeared around the bird before forming into thick, sharp tipped, icicles of Black Ice. Without hesitation, those six ice missiles were launched at a staggering speed of 700.
They were launched directly in Kazura’s path, requiring him to either break off his intended path to avoid them or risk what would happen next. Whether or not they pierced through the wall, landed near him, or just hit the wall the results would be the same. The missiles would violently explode with the full force of Windstarke’s Reiatsu Strength. Luke was...moderately confident Kazura would be fine. Regardless, he decided to finally say what he had been thinking about all this time. ”Would you believe me if I told you I’m not very good at interviews? I get hung up on questions, especially when I don’t have any real answers. I know that, right now, I’m not qualified to be one of your Managers. I was mulling over asking you about it because I wanted to you take notice of me.”
“Like I said earlier, I want to do more for this company and for you, and everyone. If I approached you about a promotion you’d look over my work, realize I hadn’t done enough, then give me something to do.” Luke explained, as he watched and waited to see what Kazura would do next.
