Kaen was surely a man with great experience and power. Senshi lacked both of these to some degree but was slowly inching her way up in life. He told her that treating her Zanpakutou as a ally rather than a tool was a good thing. He told her that she needed to align her desires with her Zanpakutou. That was a worrying thought seeing Shonin Joka was a rather...perverted sword. She didn't want to say it but that was reality and a rather sad one at that. Senshi wondered what Kaen’s blade was like as she was not aware of his sorrows. Crimson was not aware of the losses that Kaen had in his life.
However, as she was spoken to again Senshi listened intently to every word. He told her that victory was indeed hers and that she shouldn't sell it short. As for her curiosities on why he hadn't released, Kaen claimed that his release was so powerful it could very well destroy the entirety of the forest which he adored. Senshi widened her eyes slightly in awe at that thought as Shonin Joka spoke. “Eh. I could do that too. Heh.” Kaen was rather humble in her mind, he was just so great in so many ways. Shonin Joka unraveled and came back to her.
Senshi saw his shirt was in tatters and it seemed to be Kaen reflected his clothing. They do say that clothes make the man, and if that was the case then Kaen should be dead by now. The scars he wore on his skin were fresh and despite not having much medical knowledge even she could tell those wounds were not looked at properly. The burns were absolutely dreadful as she walked closer to the man to see them more clearly. There was not much she could do other than perhaps try to help with the burns and only mid sized slashes.
Kaen accepted her invitation to dinner and her eyes lit up with her cheeks flushing. This was the first time she's ever asked a man out on a date. He also accepted Senshi’s future challenge saying he would look forward to it. She didn't realize how dark it was getting as the sun was starting to set. She had the option to leave and navigate through night, or stay with Kaen a bit longer. “I-If I could I'd like to stay here w-with you. Nngh. I can make a tent.” She was so embarrassed as she felt foreign emotions she was not comfortable with.
Shonin Joka quickly released making it's six long blades before splitting again to make twelve long thin blades. Folding inward upon itself it it went around halfway around a tree to make a sort of odd halfway dome shelter with a triangle for them to crawl in and out of. This was a large enough shelter for both Senshi and Kaen to rest in for the night. “First time I've ever tried that. Thanks Shonin Joka.” The only response was a pat on the shoulder from a blade before Senshi spoke to Kaen. “Sorry for the shirt.”
