Thread Title: Science vs Royalty Participants: Keira vs Takara World: Human World Death Setting: Non Death Enabled Rating: PG-13 Location: A long abandoned asylum. The decaying three story domed building is used as a home and laboratory for a particular Failure. A large fountain, long since dry, stands cracked in the front gate. There are many holes in the walls and roof of the asylum revealing the night sky. Special Conditions: N/A Circumstances: Takara had been walking throughout Karakura Town around mid day when she had sensed the reiatsu of a Fullbringer inside of an abandoned Asylum. After tracking down the source of the reiatsu and finding its location Takara felt the reiatsu fizzle out more than likely meaning the death of the Fullbringer. She could sense multiple other race's reiatsu emanating from within the Asylum yet could tell that all were coming from the same location.
After going back to the Uzaki main building Takara spoke with Kazura on what she had sensed to get his opinion on the matter. The possibility of a Failure torturing, kidnapping and killing Fullbringers in Karakura Town had to be investigated. So Takara has been requested to go back to the asylum and capture the Failure doing her best not to kill it for the safety of all Karakura.

Takara sat in the back of the limo that she had gotten in roughly ten minutes ago back at the front of the Uzaki building here in Karakura Town. It felt like time itself was moving slowly as Takara sat in the seat awaiting the destination that she had come upon earlier in the day. This assignment wasn't like a normal one that she could handle easily with confidence simply due to what she was more than likely going to be going up against. A Failure was a race that many individuals couldn't hope to beat in terms of raw power yet that wasn't what had Takara so uneasy. She was confident she could defeat anything the problem was how she could do so without destroying all of Karakura including herself.
Like many of the races that inhabited any number of the spiritual and physical world Takara had information programmed into her mind prior to her actual consciousness had become sentient. This throughout the time that she had awoken from her imprisonment had proven valuable against many adversaries and Takara hoped that it would continue to do so even now and further into the future. She knew that Failure's had some of the most potent and powerful Reiatsu yet that it also caused their bodies to be unstable. The problem was just that based on what she knew whenever a Failure's skin is broken their reiatsu causes them to explode normally in a huge explosion destroying everything around them.
The limo pulled up in front of the abandoned asylum and after a few moments Takara placed her hand on the handle of the door to her left and opened it lifting herself out of the seat and onto her feet. She was dressed in the normal attire that she preferred normally not changing into anything less suited to her liking for anyone. The long purple dress that revealed the sides of her breasts in the middle along with her two jems wrapped around her neck and the heels upon her feet that gave her a few extra inches of height.
Takara had been half expecting the Failure to be awaiting her arrival as it was possible that it could have sensed her earlier in the day and by all means could do so right now, but there didn't seem to be anyone at the front door or hiding inside as Takara could see through the darkness thanks to her superhuman senses. She could smell the scent of a female though which more than likely was the Failure and not the Fullbringer that she had sensed during the day. That individual had left behind a scent though and it wasn't pleasant. Takara stepped forwards towards the asylum making sure to keep her senses tuned as she made her way inside of the asylum to confront the Failure on what she had sensed earlier.

The screams of the fullbringer echoed through the halls of the asylum. The fullbringer was strapped to a table which was modified to be resistant to physical strength far greater of that of a typical human, as well as being resistant to spiritual attacks as well. From being a fullbringer herself before she became an unstable failure, she was aware of the ability that fullbringers poses, allowing them to control the souls of objects around them. That knowledge and foresight was what kept the fullbringer bound to the table. She even went the extra mile as to identify and separate the fullbringer with his fullbring. It was on a separate table being analyzed.
The fullbring was a rub-ix cube. It was old and well used if its appearance was any indication. The square stickers were curled and torn, and the colors of the individual squares were faded quite a bit. The mechanisms inside of the cube were well worn as well. It was harder than usual to move the sides of the cube. The cube sat solved under a scanner which hit the object with a pale blue light. The scanner was analyzing the residual reiatsu signatures from when it was released into its weapon form against her. She solved the cube several times when she started experimenting on the fullbringer himself. She needed something to do while the tests were going. Unfortunately, the cube itself only lasted a few minutes before she was bored again. She sat on one of her reiatsu hands reading one of the books she had acquired through questionable means. Her thoughts drifted from the information in the book to her fight with the failure.
The fullbring, when used against her, was able to trap her in a sub space. From what she experienced, each color square represented its own kind of trapped room, with the exception of white, which were safe rooms. The Cube would constantly be turning and rotating trying to solve itself. When one side was all one color, all the rooms associated with that color's effect would intensify. It was a neat little power. She wondered if she would be able to make a technique similar to it. The fullbringer was confident that the traps would kill her quickly, not realizing what she was. What he didn't count on was the sheer strength of her flood. Though Keira had fun keeping up with the puzzle cube and staying safe, she did grow tired of wasting time. She would use her arms, as well as some well placed Kidou, to smash through the walls of the cube and attack the fullbringer himself.
He went down like a glass jawed boxer once she got out. She was hoping that he was capable of a bit more, but oh well. She would carry him back to her asylum while he was unconscious to preform her usual routine of setting up the experiments and having them wake up bound and ready to go. The tests have gone on for about ten minutes now. She was on the third one, and now his screams were starting to grow really irritating. She wished that could knock him out again, but these tests yielded better results when the subject was conscious. She gripped the book tightly before slamming it down on the table with a loud thud.
"Can you shut up for five minutes!?" She shouted at the tortured man. "Yes this shit hurts, but it is necessary for me, and the world at large, so suck it up buttercup and keep it down!" Maybe the last few months of experimenting on any being that she was able to catch was starting to take its toll on her. She was able to stand the screams, and focus on the goal of stabilization single mindedly no matter who it was being experimented on. Now though, it was a chore to get through one experiment. Maybe she was going soft. Maybe these seemingly endless tests were just not giving her the results she wanted as fast as she wanted them.
Suddenly she felt someone approaching the asylum. Her head snapped up, and she moved the reiatsu hand over to one of the large windows to see who was coming. She could clearly see a female walking up and standing in front of the asylum. Keira watched starting to lift one of her fingers to aim a lighting bolt right between the eyes of the female. Keira could tell immediately that she was no random human. Her energy sensory was telling her that it was in fact a mod soul. This would be the second one that she would run into. The first was an...interesting specimen. A cocky bastard who was injured during an incident in Osaka. Keira found his pill before something could happen to him and put him in a rather cute amalgamation stuffed animal. She would bring him back to the asylum for testing, unfortunately, Keira lacked the proper restraints and he got loose. They fought briefly, but in the end he just left. This intrusion may yield a possibility for another chance to experiment on a mod soul.
She sighed shaking her head. She had enough of experimenting for stabilization for a while. Though, the fact that she was here, and clearly knew that Keira was as well was a problem. One that she would unfortunately have to deal with. What a pain. When the mod soul turned to leave, the monitors keeping track of the fullbringer's vital signs flat lined. She hoped that it was just a coincidence, and not the mod soul interfering with her science. She turned and turned everything off and saved the data that she had collected. There was nothing left to do now but despose of the body with the rest of them. She pulled a lever and part of the floor opened up. The table would rotate vertically automatically undoing the restraints to let the corps fall into the shaft.
It was some time later before Keira felt the same presence again. Keira looked out of the window and saw a limo driving up to the asylum. If she didn't know better, she would have sworn it was that fullbringer woman again. Keira decided that it would be best that this altercation be handled outside, away from all of her data and equipment. She sighed taking a jolly rancher out of her coat pocket and popping it into her mouth. She sucked on it for a bit as she rode on her reiatsu arm down the long silent halls of the asylum. Keira had defended her home from numerous would be intruders since she started living as a "free" woman. She had no intention of letting that streak go unbroken.
Keira was still on the second floor when the limo stopped and the mod soul stepped out. Keira got a good look at the mod soul. She noted her appearance with her chest revealing purple dress, and her two necklaces. She also wore heels to this fight. Keira couldn't help but smirk. The woman clearly thought herself high class. She appeared far more so than Keira did. Keira wore a simple, tattered, white dress under her large lab coat. Her dark pink hair was dull from the dirt and grim that she has to contend with. Keira was not one to try and impress. She prioritized practicality over fashion, though sometimes she thought she could acquire some better clothes. She would continue down into the lobby and ride out of the front door to meet her "guest".
"If your with the church, i am not interested in any religion your trying to sell, if your trying to sell something you got five seconds to pitch, and if your with the government you better start running now." She might as well start off with a joke, even if it carried a threatening tone. She sat on her reiatsu arm like a queen would sit on her thrown. She moved the jolly rancher from one side of her mouth to the other waiting for the mod soul's response. She was constantly on guard, even if it did not look it. Her attention was squarly on the woman, making sure that she didn't do anything that Keira was not prepared for. She would give her a chance to leave on her own before she would make her leave.

She hadn't been out of the limo for more than a few moments when it had taken off and left her here in front of the asylum that would no doubt be playing host to a battle between whatever kind of Failiure was using it to play scientist and herself. This was the kind of thing that Kazura seemed to want from Takara lately with her talents lying in different fields than the majority of the other members of UE. She had been asked to handle the strange disappearances happening to spiritual entities in and around Karakura Town which had led her here.
Now as she made her way up towards the asylum entrance she spotted the sight of the Failure girl with her dark gritty looking pink hair, white lab coat, dirty dress and not much else moving towards her on what appeared to be a floating hand of reiatsu large enough that she could ride on it as if it were a magic carpet. It was obvious that this Failure possessed the some sort of ability that had allowed her to pick up on the fact that Takara was in the area. She hadn't been in front of the asylum long enough for security cameras to give this Failure enough time.
While Takara knew that she had to possess someway of knowing that she was in the area she wasn't sure which it would be though. She couldn't tell just by looking at her if she possessed heightened hearing or developed reiatsu sensing like herself. There was always the possibility that this Failure had developed some sort of technique to scan the area around her for reiatsu signatures. While it wasn't likely as Takara hadn't sensed the reiatsu of the Failure spike aside for once which she assumed had been to construct the hand she was currently on. It didn't matter in the long run the Failure was here now.
"Shut up you dirty little slob. I assume it's you that has been abducting the spiritual aware only for them to be found later deceased. I'm here to inform you that you have two choices. Leave Karakura Town or better yet Japan or stay here and die tonight. I'll give you a moment to make up that ugly colored head of yours." Takara wasn't someone that would tolerate the way that this Failure had just spoken to her. It didn't matter that she didn't know the Failure all that did matter was that she got this done fast enough that she could continue doing what she felt was important not only for herself, but for all Mod Souls.

Keira ignored the insults slung at her by the mod soul woman. Keira liked to think herself above slinging insults like a chimpanzee slings its own feces. She rested her chin in her palm looking down at her with a cold glare. This one had some nerve, and didn't seem to be near as classy as her outfit suggested. She was also disappointed. She was hoping that she wasn't just another intruder demanding she leave or die like some cleche hero. She sighed lightly. Well it looks like this one is just like the others. At least the other mod soul gave her some sort of interesting interactions. Oh well. There was nothing she could do about that. She just had to drive her off, or capture her like all the others.
She started with a sarcastic slow clap. "Well done detective. Figure that one on your own, or did you have help from whatever organization sent you?" She was clearly unfazed by the threat. "By the way, very original, 'leave or die' not like I hear that every other Thursday. You look slightly smarter than the average neanderthal that try to kill me. I am sure you can guess what would happen if you succeeded in carrying out your thread. I give Japan a reenactment of the atom bomb, and wipe the city you are trying protect off the face of the planet." She took a moment to take a deep breath. She was starting to agitate herself. "And for all those beings I abducted, trespassers who did exactly what you are doing. Am I not supposed to defend myself and spare the Soul Society a sudden surge of several hundred thousand souls?"
Keira glanced behind her at the decaying asylum that she had called home and lab. Though she done well enough with the scraps to fix the structure itself, but also building and maintain her equipment, it was ill suited for the work that she desires to do. It also holds nothing but bad memories for her, something that she could stand to get away from. The fact was that she had no where else to go. This was her home for years as a patient, no prisoner, of the asylum. As full of bad memories as it was. It was the only place she has to call her own. Though if she had the choice, and the opportunity to leave she would. Maybe this mod soul could provide that opportunity.
"I am not unreasonable though," She continued. "If you, and your superiors are willing to give me an appropriate laboratory, away from any cities or innocent people, and the materials to continue my studies, then I will gladly wash my hands of this horrid town and asylum." Her demands were simple. If they want her to move out so badly, then they would need to supply the accommodations, and something to keep her busy. She waited pulling out a jolly rancher and popping it into her mouth while she waited. The sour blueberry flavor flowed over her tongue. The sudden jolt of sensation kept her mind sharp and alert.

Takara standing at the base of the asylum that this pink haired failure she believed had been calling home for some undetermined period of time. She had offered the failure the option that she gave to all entities that she knew she was going to have to face down with the exception of shinigami. The failure though didn't take Takara's words as the gracious opportunity that they were, but instead as an insult to her own strength.
It was quite a sad thing as Takara could feel the strength of this failures reiatsu which was admittedly fairly potent by any measure. It wasn't the most potent that Takara had ever sensed, but it was enough that she knew taking a direct hit from a powerful enough reiatsu technique was severely wound if not outright kill her so taking this failure seriously was a necessity.
Takara was fine with allowing this failure to say the words that flowed throughout her fragile little body up to the point she compared herself to the legendary atomic bomb. It was at that point that Takara for the first time during an encounter against a spiritual entity that she burst out laughing at the failure. "You an atomic bomb huhuhaha" The mere comparison was enough that Takara's typical stern and serious emotions were wiped away with a mixture of amusement and contempt.
Takara a female usually someone who practices the prime and proper decor of fashion and royalty was behaving more along the lines of a bully with a foul mouth. After a few moments she ceased her laughter and starred angrily towards the failure. "Don't insult the atomic bomb by comparing its majestic beauty to your average meager existence. You'll never reach the beauty that is the atomic bomb."
Takara starred in a way that showed her anger at the disrespect shown to her by this Failure. It was as if her eyes were daggers being aimed at the soul of the Failure. "While you stand there attempting to insult my intelligence simply to cling to whatever intelligence you may have yourself you should have already realized that until the others you claim threaten you so often. . . I'm more than capable of eliminating you without endangering the pathetic insects that live in this city." Takara although vague was confident that when it came down to it she could just as she said take this pink haired Failure down without causing her to explode.
Takara giggled slightly as the Failure mentioned Soul Society only to stop a moment later and continue to stare the Failure down with a look full of contempt. "You speak of Soul Society like I should care what happens to it. Perhaps you're not aware we Mod Souls have no love for our former home. The arrancar can destroy it. It can flood itself with souls or it can stay as it is until the day comes when someone else manages to destroy it. Either way eventually Soul Society will fall for everything they've done."
Takara stopped for a moment giving the Failure a sly smile as her eyes narrowed for a moment. An idea was forming within her mind. "Perhaps we can come to an arrangement. I can find a place for your research that will keep you from anyone finding you. So long as you don't preform any experiments on Mod Souls." Even though Takara was forming the idea in her mind still she knew this Failure could prove useful, but if she ever found her experimenting on a Mod Soul she knew that eliminating her would be the only outcome.
Takara would pause for a moment allowing the proposal that this Failure more than likely didn't believe anyone would be willing to make with her due to her ill deeds. "In return I would like to have full access to your research. Also I believe I could use someone like yourself in the future. So how about it? Partner?" She might not have made it sound very beneficial with how she spoke, but if this Failure wanted some place better than this run down dump where she wouldn't be found by the typical spiritual entity that this offer was the best thing she'd likely heard in awhile.

Keira seemed to have struck a nerve with the mod soul. The next thing that Keira knew, the mod soul woman was going on a tangent how she didn't compare to the super weapon of the past and blah blah blah, Keira had stopped listening at that point. She knew that this proverbial dick measuring contest was going to get neither of them anywhere. They could sit here and talk about how powerful they are, and how inferior the other is in comparison, but what would that do other than waste Keira's precious time. Keira's interest was waning fast, she barely even noticed that she noted her destain for the soul society. Not that Keira cared either.
Keira did notice the sly smile that Takara had on her face. "Perhaps we can come to an arrangement. I can find a place for your research that will keep you from anyone finding you. So long as you don't preform any experiments on Mod Souls." Already the deal was changing, and not in Keira's favor. Yes the mod soul said they would find her a place where she would not be disterbed, but was why she came, now she wanted to add barring Mod Soul's from her experiments? This Woman had a lot of gal to be pushing for more. Keira didn't care that it was already more than most people would offer her at this point, but she knew a raw deal when she heard one.
"In return I would like to have full access to your research. Also I believe I could use someone like yourself in the future. So how about it? Partner? That word, partner. Did she truly believe Keira would have accepted such a deal. The thought made Keira laugh loudly. She wiped an imaginary tear from her eye, as the laughing fit died down. "Partner, you call this a partnership?" She suddenly grew deathly serious. "So far I have heard three things you want from me." She held the index, middle, and ring fingers on her right hand. "One, you demand that I take the trouble to relocate my lab for your own convenience." She pulled one finger down. "Two, you ask that I refrain from experimenting on mod souls." And finally she had one finger left up. "And on top of that, you want me to share the my research, the sole thing that I hold over my own life for your benefit!?" She was practically shouting out of anger.
"Lets get one thing straight Mod Soul, I will sooner blow myself up and the town itself with me before you see a word of my research." Keira leaned back in her arm chair and turned it around turning her back to the mod soul. Normally anyone would think that turning one's back to their enemy was a terrible idea, but it was one of the safest things for Keira to do. She took a deep breath letting out slowly before quickly turning back around to face the mod soul. "By all accounts, this deal is not equal. Unless you got two more things that are of interest to me, then I will have my leave. Begone from this Asylum. If you remain I will treat you like I do all trespassers." She turned her back again and started to head back inside. Should have just blasted the car while it was outside the gates she muttered. She would keep her senses trained on the mod soul for any act of aggression. Nothing will get by her.

The interactions as well as the atmosphere of the area around both of the females continued to gain a type of stressed and tensed sensation as the two personalities clashed against one another. Takara hadn't expected her order to be met easily especially with someone that she could feel was so proud. The fact that she tried to laugh at her proposal though was enough to cross a line in Takara's opinion. When the Failure turned and began to walk towards the entrance once again Takara could see that she was still on edge ready to defend herself should she be attacked. At least she wasn't proud enough to leave herself open. Connecting to the Omega Arsenal Takara's reiatsu signature would spike for a moment as she manifested a cannon from what looked like the American Civil War era.
The cannon while a weapon of brute force that had been designed to bash through hard structures and rows of opposition wasn't directed directly at the back of the Failure. Instead the primitive yet powerful weapon would fire releasing from its body a somewhat large ball of iron that would soar through the air up above the Failure and would impact the body of the asylum causing the front section to crumble down towards the Failure. If she kept walking she'd have to deal with the rumble falling down on her. If she stopped short though the rumble would simply block off the entrance of the asylum. "Don't walk away from a conversation it's rude. Now let's come to an understanding. You can't stay in Karakura otherwise soon a large party from one of the major factions will get tired of having their followers vanish which will ultimately lead to your capture or extermination."
Takara stopped speaking for a moment in order to let the logic of what she had just said to sink in. There would be no doubt that what she had said would eventually happen, but that was easy to know and the Failure more than likely knew this bit of information already and would plan accordingly. "I know a place where you can easily keep your presence safe while still continuing to capture and experiment on test subjects you may find. I have no problem with you testing on any race other than my own. If you don't wish to agree to share what you may learn than fine."

A shinigami could cut the tension in the air with their zanpakuto. The two women would not back down from their positions. Keira was done with the conversation. Nothing had been done but waste her time, which could have been spent better on her experiments, or at least getting around to building those perimeter defenses. A spike in the mod soul's reiatsu caught Keira's attention. This pill had some balls on her, Keira thought turning around quickly to see a civil war era cannon aimed at her. No. Judging from the angle of the barrel it wasn't aimed at her but... The shot rang out sending a large iron ball flying at her asylum. Keira may have hated the structure, but she had an undying love for everything inside of it.
Keira would quickly calculate the speed and trajectory of the iron ball and summon another reiatsu arm up on the wall of the asylum. The iron ball would be easily caught by the reiatsu arm. A high pitch ringing could be heard, but no structural damage was caused by the projectile. Keira was infuriated. Now the mod soul had attacked her laboratory, which was effectively and attack on herself. Keira gave the walking puppet a death glare that would end all death glares, and Takara would be able to sense a murderous intent radiating from the diminutive glowing girl. Keira would like nothing more than to shove this iron ball straight up that gigai's ass, but she held her self in check...for now.
Takara would go on about how eventually the major factions would come to directly deal with the failure. Keira thought that she had been over that already, and just let her talk while barely keeping her anger under control. Keira had already dealt with many would be assassins long ago, and if anything the flow of wannabe heroes have been stemming due to their losses. Maybe Takara was getting at larger players entering the arena, but Keira didn't care. She could take on anyone that would challenge her. There was still one question that Keira needed to ask however. "And where exactly, do you intend on sending me?" The question was spat out with enough venom to kill a small country, and Takara would be aware of Keira's growing impatience and rage. "The last place people sent me to for my own good stands before you, you should choose your words with care before answering."

Just as she had thought this Failure was an entity that could think and react swift enough that large projectiles wouldn't work against her if a battle did ensue between the both of them. The reiatsu hands that this Failure was able to form was able to grab a hold of the cannon ball stopping it easily which meant that it possessed a fairly large amount of physical strength. Based just on that Takara knew that if one of those hands got a hold of her she'd be crushed and likely done for which simply meant that it would be best to keep her guard up.
The anger was written across the face of this Failure now and Takara despite growing frustrated herself would try to enlist the aid of this Failure still. It seemed that the Failure while incredibly angry at her was still willing to continue the conversation. She wanted to know where Takara intended on sending her now that her Asylum was becoming such a place of frequent conflict in the spiritual community. "There is a small island off the course of Japan's southern most prefecture. I've already scouted the area for just such a situation and there's an empty hospital on the island where you can continue your research."

Keira watched the mod soul woman closely. She was watching for any signs of aggression, as well as, any openings that She might easily exploit when negotiations broke down. Keira should be crushing that things pill for shooting at her lab. The only thing that kept Keira's anger in check, was the prospect of finally moving out of this asylum, and into something more suitable for her needs. That was the only reason she cared to know where Takara had intended on taking her. Apparently, they were prepared for an occasion such as this, she didn't know if she should be flattered or taking this as a sign of aggression. When the mod soul told her, she only felt insulted.
The island location was good enough. Isolated enough where she should be able to conduct her experiments in peace, and still be able to move about unhindered, but it was the specific location that was an issue now. Some abandoned hospital. One no doubt any better than the one that she had spend so long repairing into working order herself. Keira was not pleased. Her hand squeezed the iron ball until it was crushed into pieces within the large fist of the hand. "I am afraid that will not do." She stated in a cold even voice. "Why would i move all my equipment, all of my samples, everything, for a place that is no better than where i am now?"
Her pink eyes bore into the mod souls. Keira didn't like her. Keira trusted her even less. For all Keira knew, the mod soul woman would just leave her in the middle of no where making off her all HER hard work. All her secrets, all her plans. No. She will not have them, nor will she be made a fool. "Unless you are able to provide me with a proper laboratory, and provide proof of such a facility right now, i will not hesitate to toss your broken body back over those gates." Keira was ready. She was done talking, and done with this artificial life form. "Unless you can give me something of interest, we are done here. Leave, and be neighborly and never come back."

Dealing with other females was always such a pain in the ass. Takara had only ever really met a handful of females that weren't completely irritating. She had been trying to be nice and perhaps had overplayed her hand herself when she had shot at the asylum yet this Failure was simply rude. Now as she demanded that she be given a facility that was in full operation. Something like that wasn't out of the realm of possibility nor was moving to a location other than the island which seemed to be the case.
Takara was honestly thinking of just where she could send the Failure to continue her research when the Failure had to threaten her once again. "Continue to threaten me and lose the chance to increase your standing in this world. If you want a fully operation facility ready for your arrival than the only current location would be in South Korea. I have a facility there I can lend to you for the time being." Takara sighed wanting this to just be over by now as negotiations with this Failure was simply annoying.
"Before you decide know that if you leave Karakura and work alongside me than in the near future I'll provide something to you that you won't obtain without far more difficulty." Takara would wait knowing that the Failure would say something along the lines of what could she possibly give her that she couldn't take for herself. "I'll give you a Captain of Soul Society for your experiments. I'll also share information directly from Division Twelve once it's obtain. In exchange you won't harm any Mod Souls."

Keira could sense that she was still there un-moving. She was getting tired of this intrusion and waste of valuable time. Her coffee was probably sludge at this point. Keria couldn't help but brurst into laughter when the artificial soul said something about losing her chance to increase her standing in the world. What did she care about the world. She couldn't care less if the whole planet, and everyone else on it was eaten away by hollows. Still she did not turn around. The facility in South Korea was a bit more promising. At least it would be a proper upgrade for what she needed. Then the pill woman said something that caught Keira off guard.
She had started with the whole "I can get you something" routine, which she wasn't going to entertain. She just motioned impatiently for her to continue, when she obviously expected Keira to come back with the same cliche "What can you get me?" come back. She had promised not only information directly from Squad-12, but also a captain for her to experiment on. Keira turned away again trying to come to terms with what Takara had just offered. Her mind was already thinking of ways to use a captain, and the information taken from the Soul Society might prove useful to her as well, and all she had to do was promise to not harm mod souls.
Keira turned back around suddenly standing up now. She deactivated her flood and approached the shorter woman looking her square in the eyes. For Keira, this was a huge sign of respect. She was basically coming face to face without her safe guards out of trust. "Very well, I think we have an arrangement." It was like a switch had just been flipped. "Shall I but on some coffee for us, or are you looking to set up the move as soon as possible?" She asked cordially. She swallowed the last of the jolly rancher waiting for Takara's reply.

It seemed that negotiations hadn't completely broken down and despite all of the disrespect and tension between both powerhouse females Takara was able to propose getting Keira a fair bit of information and even a Captain of Soul Society. Takara had been more than confident in the fact that capturing a Captain would be enough to win Keira over to his side. Now as the Failure approached her Takara grinned and held out her hand.
A small shake of the hands would solidify the partnership. "A cup of coffee while I explain the plan which will lead to our success sounds grand." Takara would wait for Keira to lead her into the asylum. Although it was run down and definitely not Takara's cup of tea she was fine with spending some time inside in order to iron all the details out with Keira. "Don't worry about the move I've already inform my movers to come and pick up your things. They should be here within the hour."
