-Basic Information-
Name: Zegram Hebi

Blood Type: O
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Appearance-
Height/Weight: 6ft 2in/180lbs
Physical Description: Zegram's style can be described as suave and sophisticated. Zegram does try to make himself look nice, he doesn't try that hard. His green hair is usually in a mess in front of his yellow eyes. His slightly pale skin is kept clean after a fight. Though he doesn't have much when it comes to muscle mass, he keeps his slim body in shape leaving not a single ounce of fat on his body. His thin lips are often found in a small charming, yet sometimes creepy smile.
Zegram usually has a calm, charming smile on his face. He keeps tries to keep a friendly look and air about him as he travels around in public. When he is deep in thought or concerned about something, it will mostly show on his face as him starring off into space with his lips in a thin line. Zegram's hole is on the right side of his chest symmetrical to his heart. His mask fragments come down from the corners of his mouth meeting down at his chin.
Zegram wears a two piece black suit with a white dress shirt. He wears a black tie around his neck matching his black jacket. His black pants are always pressed and smooth. The bottoms of his pant legs covers the upper part of his boots. Zegram wears a black fedora that is one of his most prized possessions. He wears a silver arm band of a snake eating itself around his right upper arm. He also wears a pair of black, leather fingerless gloves over his hands.
Zegram can also be seen in more casual clothes as well. When he knows he will do nothing but relaxing, he will either wear a sleeveless shirt, or his dress shirt with most of the buttons open revealing his slightly muscular chest, and his sleeves rolled up over his armband. He would ditch his tie wearing a pair of jeans. His dress boots are replaced with comfortable shoes. He keeps his fedora on him on all times. He will sport a pair of sunglasses to cover his eyes from the blazing sun of the human world or just to look cool in the eternal night of his home world.

-Personality-
Dislikes:
Damage to his Fedora: His fedora is the only piece of clothing that he wears that he does not allow to get damaged. He also gets a little perturbed if someone takes it without his permission. The fedora was his mother's father's hat. Though he never new his grand father, it was a procession he kept of his mother's who he loved more than anything.
Uptight People: He finds people who are too stuck up no fun to be around. When he dated a high class girl, he had to spend time with other upper-class people who were mostly up stuck up and up tight. He tried to get along in his own way, but was looked down on for his poor upbringing.
Children: What's to like about them? Their loud, messy, and annoying. Since they are of little use objectively, he doesn't care for them and find them a hindrance.
Sweets: He does not have a sweet tooth at all.
Rap and Pop Music: He does not care for rap or pop music. He finds it annoying and unpleasant most of the time.
A-holes: Generally he can't stand ass holes, but he would not show it unless they really aggravate him.
Abusive Individuals: He will move to defend anyone who is being abused physically, verbally, or emotionally, and he will seriously harm if not kill the abuser. His father was one such individuals who abused Zegram and his mother.
Lack of Information: When he is given less than ideal amount of info to work with, he gets frustrated and prone to not cooperate with strategies or orders. He had been a part of operations where
The Cold: Being of Reptilian decent, he hates cold weather. Anything under 65 is chilly to him.
Primate-like Hallows/Arroncars: It was one of these hallows that killed his mother. He hates them with a passion and would kill them on site.
Likes:
Women: He likes all manner of women. This is the exeption to his dislike for uptight people he wouldn't mind so much since he could still get a reaction from them.
Snakes: He loves snakes of all kinds, from the pit vipers, to the cobras, to the constrictors. He liked them since he was a kid. He found them fascinating through he didn't get a chance to pursue his interest.
His Fedora: His fedora is his favorite article of clothing. It was his grandfather's fedora on his mom's side. It is the only thing he has to remember her by. He also grew up during the time when they were popular.
Classical/Jazz Music: His favorite music. He grew up when Jazz was becoming popular and found it a nice change of pace from the music of the time. When he hangs out in the world of the living, he listens to the classical music of Beethoven and Mozart and found it soothing.
Tart/Spicy Food: He loves spicy and sour food. He would always try to push himself to the next level of tartness and spiciness.
Information: He loves information. If he was given the chance to gain any info on anyone he might come across he will take it. He found information more valuable than pure strength. Why try to force through a situation when it can be avoided with the info?
Warm Weather: Being opposed to his hatred of the cold. He loves warm weather. Anything above 75 is highly preferred to him.
Flaws:
Womanizing: Zegram likes to flirt with women. He will go after pretty much any woman even while in combat.
Perfectionist: When he is tasked to do something, he has to do it right. Its not OCD levels of bad where if the slightest things is wrong it has to be redone, but he does like to
Semi-Bipolar: When he is in battle, his personality completely changes from when he is socializing. When he is in battle, his personality goes from a mild mannered, womanizing, smart talking, gentleman, to a completely psychotic, unpredictable sociopath. He will show no mercy to anyone and finds enjoyment in peoples pain.
Apathy: He simply doesn't care to empathize with peoples problems. He would care if they were a pretty woman of course.
Condescending Tone: Zegram may talk to people in a condescending tone making people think he thinks he is above them. This is unintinional though he does think highly of himself.
Habits:
Singing: Zegram will start singing along to a song he likes or just whenever it pops into his head. His mother would often sing no matter how she felt. She taught Zegram that singing can be a good way to release all the pent up emotions in him. At first it was more of a therapeutic thing, then it became something he just did whenever he thought of a song he likes.
Hat Twilling: Zegram will twirl his hat around his index finger when he is waiting. He likes to be doing something no matter how trivial when he is waiting for something. He does not like to be sitting around with nothing to do.
Info Psyches: If asked certain topics, or about something he swore to secrecy, or something he just doesn't want anyone to know, he will reply with "That...is a secret" or any other witty denial. He found this to be a way to keep people's cooperation. Their reasons for knowing what he knows does not interest him, this usually makes them want to work for the information in one way or another.
Polite Bow: When he meets a pretty girl, or anyone of note worthy importance, he will bow and remove his hat. When he was dating an upper-class girl, he made sure to show everyone the proper respect for her sake. That just naturally went along with his strong politeness while he is around women.
Primate Insults: When he insults people he will do so my comparing them to apes or monkeys. Since they relate to his father, he sees monkeys and primates to be one of the lowest forms of life. So of course he will use them to insult people he does not like.
Fears:
Isolation: Zegram fears being isolated from everyone more than anything. The lack of companionship or interaction will drive him mad. He will start talking to himself or people who are not really there. He will call for his mother, the one person that he thinks showed him any true love and kindness.
Mongees: One of the greatest predators to Snakes. It makes sense to be cautious of them though he acts more with aggression than fear. If he saw a mongoose in the human world walking around or attacking a snake, he would kill it without hesitation. They seem to be aggressive towards him anyway so he feels no remorse about it.
Being Killed by Primates: This would be the ultimate insult to him. It could also mean that he was killed by his father twice. He does not want to give his father the satisfaction for being the cause of his death for a second time.
Goals:
His main goal is to be able to manipulate the balance of the worlds with information. He has no desire to rule directly, but he will relish being able to cause anything to happen behind the scenes. This gives him the rush of being in power without the direct responsibility for anything that were to happen if things went wrong. At least that's what he rationalizes.
On a side note, he also wants to have his own harem of beautiful women to cater and love him. Its the dream most womanizers have. Though Zegram is capable of settling for a single girl, it is a nice fantasy to have a harem to cater to his every whim.
He also wants to hunt down and kill his father who was also tuned into a hallow and became an arroncar. He hates his father so much that he wants to erase him from existence. He wants to make him suffer for all the years Zegram's father made Zegram and his mother suffer.
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Aspect of Death: Deception
Overall Personality: Zegram uses a modified golden rule policy when it comes to his attitude to other people. His attitude towards them basically boils down to how they act towards him. In his mind, "Do to others what they do to you." If someone tries to deceive him, he will do it right back. If they are kind and honest to him, he is the same to them. It is important to note that his attitude is different from his emotional state. Just because someone gets mad at him, doesn't mean that he will get mad back. He will do what he came to do with his usual smile on his face. When Zegram does decided to get back at someone, he usually does it behind the scenes and indirectly. He will try to make his enemies miserable in any way that plays against their weaknesses. Only when Zegram is pushed to the limit will he ever confront his enemy head on, but it is always on his terms.
When he is socializing with people in general, he can be a fun person to be around. He has his sense of humor, which can be dark and twisted at times. Watching people hurt themselves, is hilarious to him, especially his enemies. He is not afraid to approach people just because they may be important or anything like that, especially if he has business with him, and more so if it was a beautiful woman. He will get into some mischief from time to time especially when some buddies are involved. Only a few things make him tic. If someone messes with his fedora, he will reveal a sudden flash of anger and would just as quickly be just as he was before. As if nothing ever happened. He will also defend a woman's honor when it is called for. If it is something he will not stand for, its disrespect to a woman.
When he is around women he can be called a player. He will do anything he can think of to woo his target from giving gifts, to singing, to public displays of affection even if that means humiliating himself, or acting slightly out of character. He Though he does not care for the uptight women as much, he does respect them immensely. When a woman can show that she won't be taken lightly, that makes her even more desirable in his eyes. He will see them as playing hard to get, and will always accept the challenge. Though he could be called a womanizer, no one can't say he doesn't have a respect for women. He is a gentleman to ever girl he tries to court and treats them with the upmost respect. He can be persistent, but never to the point of becoming a stalker or creep.
When he is on the battlefield he is a completely different person. The man that could feel compassion, love, and respect those around him is replaced by a mad man who only craves for battle and death, and suffering. This doesn't mean he goes berserk and rampages around the battlefield. No, he is smart. He plans every move he makes, maybe several in advance if he knows his opponent, or is facing a worthy adversary. He will toy with his victim before finishing them off. Once the battle is over, he tries to act like his usual self, but those perceptive enough can see the forlorn in his eyes. Its like a case of Dr. Jekle and Mister Hyde. He can be kind and gentle and eve loving, while his other half is inhuman, cruel, and antagonistic. The two are complete opposites it can be the same that they are the same in some respects.
When Zegram has a clear advantage, or waiting for someone to die by a poison, he can get a little cocky. He will drop his guard and taunt his victim. He is incredibly sadistic ad cruel while in such a position. He will either just describe how a person will die with agonizing details, or tell them what he plans to do next, especially if it involves someone that his victim is close to. He may also kick the victim while he or she is down, and just cause all manner of pain. All the wile with a wicked, snake like smile spread on his face. He can go from being gentle and whispering softly, to screaming loudly and violent at a drop of a hat.
When Zegram is near any primate looking hallows, he is always on edge. He knows that it was a primate hallow that killed him and his mother. He also knows that his father was that hallow. As far as Zegram is concerned he would see them all dead. He will not allow them a quick death either, he will slowly kill them in the most painful way possible if he had his way. Being around a voriaty of different hallows while in the Escudo HQ, he will restrain himself from physically harming a primate hallow, though he will give it quite a lashing with his forked tongue.

-Powers-
Fighting Style:
Zegram relies on his speed and wits in battle. He will try to analyze his opponent as they fight looking for any weaknesses that his opponent may not be aware of. Zegram uses a lure and counter style of fighting one on one and multiple opponents. He also tried to maneuver an opponent the way he wants him to gain the advantage. Zegram isn't above using dirty tricks to gain an edge in a fight. As he sees it, the only winner is the one still alive, and he will do whatever it takes to be the one alive. Each move he makes is calculated and deliberate, but still has a certain style to it.
Zegram's lure-counter strategy relies on trying to predict his opponents next move while keeping him self protected. He will purposely make an opening for his opponent to attack trying to make it look like a legitimate mistake. If his opponent takes the bait, he will block or parry the attack and counter while his opponent is still trying to recover. If the opponent does not go for the opening, for one reason of another. He will try to roll with that attack regardless, but of course it will be more difficult coming up with an effective counter on the fly.
Zegram will also try to make his opponent move in a way that will give him an opening. He can do this in a variety of ways. He will attack high with a bunch of attacks bringing his opponents guard up before coming low under his opponents guard. Or use his Ceros and Balas to make his opponent think he will fight at long range before darting in and cutting them down. All these types of strategies are open to consideration for him. He has no preferences, as long as they get the job done.
Zeferoth will also integrate his poisons in battle with deadly efficiency. If he is fighting an opponent who is faster than himself, he can use his inhalant venoms to slow them down, or disorient them giving him the chance he needs to strike them with either another poison attack, or a cut from his sword. If the opponent is physicaly stronger than him, he will need to rely on out maneuver him and out witting him. he can use his venoms to cause intense pain giving his opponent other things to pay attention to than himself while he ends the fight quickly and decisively.
Zegram will prefer to strike from his opponents blind spots,(sides or back) rather than staying in front of them hashing it out. He will use his Balas and Ceros at a distance to try and get them off balance so to speak. Once they are moving or unsure where Zegram is at, he will strike from the sides or the back. When he has to get in close with his Zanpakuto, after he blocks or parries an attack, he will move the sides sticking as he moves in a circular motion to the sides of his opponents. This also makes it easier to find places to strike his opponents with his poison for the best effect.
This fighting style translates the same way when it comes to multiple opponents. He will move around them all trying to stay out of the middle of them. This way he can keep a better track of them and keep them tripping over each other while keeping the engagements to a minimum. If he can get them all lined up exactly where he wants them, he would use either a cero blast or one of his inhalant poisons to affect all of them at once. Then he can commence finishing them off at his leisure. He will mostly kill all but one quickly and toy with the remaining one until he decided to kill him.
Zanpakutou Appearances:
Sealed: Doku Kiba's sealed form is that of a katana like most zanpakutos. The blade is white like a tooth or fang. The hand guard is in the shape of a snake's head with the fangs forming the hand guard itself. A pair of ruby eyes adorns the snake's head which is covered in black scales. The handle is the body of the snake slightly curved for an easy grip. Past the grip, the snakes body curves and winds another few inches. At the end of the snakes tail is a rattle much like a rattlesnake's that actually rattles.
Primera Etapa: When Zegram is in this form his lower body, from the waist down, becomes serpentine. His long snake like body is five feet long and a foot and a half thick. He his tail body is covered in white scales which act like chain mail. Along his body are black diamond marks going about from where his hips would be to almost the end of his tail. At the end of his tail is a heavy set of scales layered over each other like a rattlesnakes rattle. This could be used to distract opponents, or he could use it as a heavy club. The raddle itself is colored in bright red scales so that it would catch the eye of the opponent unless he was really focused.
Behind Zegram's head is a large cobra's hood. On the inside of his hood, are two large red eye like marks that are remarkably hypnotizing of stared into for too long which stands out against the pitch black scales contrasting to the white scales everywhere else. He has a half red, half black diamond mark on his chest Black scales form zigzagging patterns down and around both arms ending in a large triangle on the back of his hands. A forked tongue will dart from his mouth quickly tasting the air. Zegram's zanpakuto also goes through a minor change. The blade changes to make it look like a snakes fang. It keeps its sharp edge allowing him to slice like before while being good at piercing. Inside his mouth are two large fangs that he could use to bite into people. His head becomes fore snake like completing the copra like form.
Zanapkutou Release Name: "Bite into your enemies, Doku Kiba!"
Overall Ability: Zegram is able to produce various venoms and poisons within his body which can be delivered into his opponents body once he wounds them. Each poison has its own effect on the body. He can deliver the poison into any contact with his body or his sword, by are born toxins, as well as he is able to pierce the skin and find his opponents blood. Since the toxins are made from inside his body, he is immune to them incase he injures himself along with his opponent.
Primera Etapa Overall Ability: Zegram's control over his poisons is heightened, and his understanding of how they work increases significantly. In addition to gaining more ways of delivering poison to the enemy and more varied poisons, Zegram gains the ability to mix multiple poisons together. He can stack up to three different poisons this way, allowing them all to be delivered with a single delivery method. If a poison is only available in one state, the other poisons must be capable of taking that state, or they cannot be mixed (he cannot mix a gas with two poisons that are only liquids). Mechanically speaking, this mixing automatically treats the individual resisting the poison as having 1 less Poison Resist for each additional poison, as the poisons function as if they were a different poison than immunities are developed against. Mixing poisons costs 100 reaitsu per poison added, and there is a cooldown associated with this mixing. Although he can mix up to three poisons together in one turn, Zegram must take at least two posts before he can mix another batch if he does so. When combining poisons with each other through the usage of his Primera Ability, the activation time of all of them is combined, potentially delaying poisons a significant while. He can only combine poisons that all share a single delivery method. Beyond that, the individuals who are then affected by the mixed poison must resist each poison separately, or suffer the effects of whichever one they failed to resist. As mentioned, resisting via Poison Resist is made more difficult.

Release Technique:
Tech Name: Bane Blade
Effects: This technique is a weapon generation technique, but one with a terrifying twist. This technique creates a weapon made out of poison that has been frozen in place, allowing it to function as a sword. It’s durability as a weapon is equal to his Spiritual Pressure, although Zegram’s usage of it is still tied to his physical capabilities as normal. The sword is limited in it’s ability to cut, however. Although it’s capable of drawing blood, it cannot cut further than that. Drawing blood however is all it typically needs. Upon striking an opponent or opening a wound, Bane Blade allows Zegram to immediately chose one of his poisons and apply it to that individual. Of course, he can only apply contact poisons if he strikes the individual, and bloodstream poisons only if he opens a wound. Finally, and most disturbingly, blocking the blades can have unhealthy side effects. As the blades grind against other things, such as clashing swords or armor (and armor techs), they disperse particles of themselves as a powder into the nearby air, that allows it to be easily inhaled. Upon them doing so, Zegram can effectively release an inhalant poison directly towards his opponent, in a fine cloud of particles invisible to the naked eye. The sword lasts for seven posts, and has no special combat capabilities.
Drawback: This technique costs 300 reitsu to activate. It can be shattered if someone exerts a greater force on it than it’s durability, just like most weapons. It cannot inflict wounds greater than a small cut, although it’s ability to apply poisons is it’s greatest asset. The sword only lasts seven posts. Zegram can summon a maximum of four swords this way per thread. Once he summons two, the next ones are brittler, with durability equal to half of his Spiritual Pressure instead. The poisons that they inflict are resistible as normal, and cost an increased amount, given the ease of selection and infliction. The poisons cost 150% of their normal dosage each time he inflicts them with the usage of a Bane Blade.
Tech Name: Venomous Vestments
Effects: This technique is used in conjunction with any of Zegram’s various Contact Poisons. What it does is form a thin membrane over Zegram’s skin, filled with whatever poison he currently has brewed when he activates this technique. This membrane is located over whatever armor techniques he currently has active, such as Hierro, and transfers the poison to whoever, or whatever, touches it. This means if someone strikes him with an unarmored fist, they will instantly be exposed to the poison in the membrane. However, this also means that if he strikes someone and makes skin contact, he inflicts the poison. The Venom Armor has four charges worth of poison in it, although poison does not stack but simply refreshes in duration. Once those charges are depleted, the membrane runs out of poison and is functionally useless. After five rounds, the membrane is harmlessly absorbed back into Zegram’s skin.
Drawbacks: This technique costs 250 reitsu, in addition to the costs of brewing the poison, and only lasts for five rounds or until the charges are depleted. For each charge that hasn’t been expended when Zegram reabsorbs it, he must wait one post before creating more poison, as the poisons are processed within his body. Only contact poisons can be used this way. This technique can only be used twice a thread.
Tech Name: Combat Cloud
Effects: This technique is a more forceful way of delivering any of Zegram’s inhalant poisons. What this technique does is create a cloud of poison, whichever poison that Zegram has currently brewed. This cloud expands from Zegram’s pores until it surrounds him, 35 feet in every direction. The cloud is colorless, although it has a distinct odor of rotten meat, which can be noted with at least a 200 Senses. Anyone who opens their mouth, whether to speak, or breath, or do anything, in the cloud is instantly subject to the cloud’s poison. However, the cloud is capable of doing other things to get the person to inhale. If someone who Zegram is aware of holds their breath in the cloud, he can produce an acidic effect, at the cost of some of the cloud’s duration. The cloud typically lasts for 6 posts after he activates it, but he can expend one of those posts to inflict intense pain upon each of the people currently in the cloud, other than him, that are holding their breaths. This pain, if not resisted, will certainly cause people’s mouth to open to make noise, thus causing them to ingest the poison.
Drawbacks: This technique costs 300 reitsu in addition to the costs of brewing the poison, and lasts for 6 posts, less if Zegram activates the effect. It cannot differential from friend or foe, and thus isn’t a wise idea to use when allies are around. It can be detected with at least a 160 senses, or a 200 Energy Sensory. The poisons also can be resisted normally, and only 200 poisons can be used this way. Once this technique runs out, Zegram must wait another 5 posts before activating it again
Tech Name: Poisonous Pet
Effect: By far one of Zegram’s oddest techs, this tech is similar to Bane Blade in the sense that it generates an object out of poison. However, the object it generates is not a weapon, per say, but a snake who follows Zegram’s orders. The snake takes the shape of a king cobra, albeit a large one of about four feet in length. The cobra is made out of solidified poison, with physical durability equal to his Spiritual Pressure, a Speed of 300, and a Strength of 50. This cobra has within it a unique venom, an is actually technically a nonlethal weapon. The venom will be posted below. Cobras have a 1 in Stealth.
Drawback: This technique costs 300 reitsu to activate. Zegram can only create two pets per thread, and each of them last a maximum of 6 posts before they vanish. Although the cobras do follow his orders, they are only capable of following very simple ones. They can stand still, attack, guard Zegram, and hide. They have no skills other than Stealth, and no spiritual stats. Their perceptions are limited to things that Zegram is aware of, they do not have autonomous sensory capability. Furthermore, creating cobras is extra taxing on Zegram’s stamina, as is ordering them to undertake actions. Each action ordered takes 25 reitsu.

Other Techniques:
Technique Name: [Bala] (Bullet)
Class: [6] [Cannot be learned until class 6]
Technique Type: [Hollow Technique]
Technique Element: [None]
Technique Description and Effects:
An Arrancar-exclusive technique that hardens the user's Reiatsu and releases it like a swift blast of spiritual energy. While the technique is not nearly as powerful as a Cero, its speed is 20 times faster and allows for it to be fired in quick repetition. The orb of reiatsu fired varies in size and strength, some Arrancar creating one the size of a basketball with the rough power of a massive punch, and others creating Bala with enough power to blast holes in adversaries. Some Espada can create Bala as large and powerful as an average Arrancar's Cero.
How to use technique:
The user must first aim and then fire the technique, as is custom of any projectile type.
Technique Drawbacks
50 Reiatsu cost.
Technique Name: [Cero (Zero)]
Class: [4]
Technique Type: [Hollow Technique]
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects:
Available only to Hollows or Arrancar of at least Gillian status, Cero is the signature technique of higher level Hollow races. This concentrates their reiatsu into a condensed blast of light which fires out, usually from the hands or similar body part, though many can use it from their chests, feet, mouths, or other appendages. Color is usually red, but many Arrancar have learned how to alter the color of their fired Cero. When charging it appears to be an orb, but when fired is a large, very wide beam. It has a distinct high-pitched sound when charging, and a very low growl when fired. Anyone can hear either, and thus discerning a Cero is very easy. In power, weaker Cero explode on contact with targets, but some Cero have enough power to keep going after hitting a target, and simply consume and disintegrate it.
How to use technique:
Aim body part at target and charge the technique, then fire. In speed, takes a few seconds total.
Technique Drawbacks
Reiatsu cost of 200, despite being class 4.
Technique Name: [Sonido (Lit. Sound Step)]
Class: [4] - 7-1.
Technique Type: [Hollow Technique] - Kidou, Quincy Technique, Bount Technique, Human Technique, Hollow Technique, Other
Technique Element: [None] - If any
Technique Description and Effects: [What does your technique do? How strong is it? What is it's range of abilities? List these things below.]
A powerful technique, Sonido is a step that increases movement speed for a single step. Essentially, it magnifies the speed of just that one step, by 13 times. Each step for Sonido costs 100 Reiatsu. Additionally, this technique does not take up a technique slot.
How to use technique: [How do you use this technique? List below.]
Just use it and drain the Reiatsu.
Drawback: [What are the disadvantages and drawbacks of your technique? Don't forget that the drawback must be equal in strength to the technique. List everything related to the drawback below.]
Reiatsu cost.
Technique Name: [Hierro (Harden)]
Class: [3]
Technique Type: [Hollow Technique]
Technique Element: [Metal]
Technique Description and Effects:
Hierro is an Arrancar technique in which the user's reiatsu condenses, creating a steel-hard skin strong enough to block a Zanpakuto. This also allows them to fight some of the sword-wielding Shinigami barehanded. This technique guards against reiatsu based and melee techniques. If the user has 150+ reiatsu strength superiority to the enemy, then the user is totally undamaged by all attacks from the enemy. This means an Arrancar is essentially invincible based on Hierro for some time. At 75-149 reiatsu strength advantage, damage is very minor, but present. A large slash could be a tiny cut. At less than 75 advantage, there is resistance to damage from the Hierro. Small resistance.
How to use technique:
Always active. Doesn't use reiatsu to keep active, uses reiatsu strength for strength. Permanently active as soon as it is learned.
Technique Drawbacks
Must deactivate this to use High Speed Regeneration. Reiatsu is lost upon deactivation, reiatsu equivalent to the technique class, which is 3. 400 is lost upon deactivation. 400 is then also lost upon reactivation in the same thread. Final stage release bypasses Hierro automatically by default. (Bankai, Fullbring Stage 2, etc.) Vizard Bankai does NOT bypass Hierro. Vizards, even if they have not yet become full Vizards, must use their mask to bypass Hierro. Those facing Hierro can gradually adjust to it per combat hit against the enemy, though within a certain post limit. Let's say Person A has Hierro, and is fighting Person B. If Person B hits Person A twice with attacks, then after 8 posts of their combat have elapsed, then Person A's Hierro counts at 80% of its strength (100 Reiatsu strength would be 80). After 12 posts of combat, if Person A has been hit at least four total times, then Person B can now treat Hierro as if it is simply 60% strength (100 Reiatsu Strength would be 60). After 16 posts of combat, if at least six hits have been landed, Hierro stops working against Person B.

-History-
Birthplace: New York, New York, USA
Current Residence: Escudo HQ/ Roaming
Memorable Figures:
History: Zegram was born in the world of the living in early 1930. He grew up in New York, New York during the height of the depression. It was a time where honest work was hard to find, and a more primal time for Americans. Zegram would use his intuition and street smarts in order to obtain everything that his family needed to survive. His father worked long hours at the steel mills, so he wasn't around all that much. His mother was ill a lot, so it was up to Zegram to take care of himself. He did anything he had to do to get food. That mainly consisted of either running deliveries for food, or stealing what he needed. His first theft was the local general store. The owner still had a fair amount of business and income. Zegram was just six years old, but he was already a quick, nimble runner. He used the adults as cover as he darted between them snatching what he could carry and stuff in his pockets. The store clerk didn't even realize what he was up to. He was like a shadow as he made his way out of the store with his ill-gotten loot heading home to cook for his mother
Zegram returned home after taking a long, roundabout way, so that he wouldn't be tracked back to his house. Their hose was a small shack more than a house. When he opened the door he walked into the living room which was also used as the kitchen and dining room. Adjacent to the right about mid-way into the room was the only bathroom, and all the way in the back was the single bedroom where all three slept. He set all the food on the counter before heading back to great his mom. She was a beautiful woman with long black hair and pale skin. Her lips were a pale red, but were once as vibrant as a ruby. Her eyes once a bright blue and full of life, now were closed most of the time and the spark gone from her eyes. Zegram walked up to his mother who stirred hearing his footsteps. She opened her blue eyes and smiled weakly seeing her son. She extended her hand to him placing it on his head running her fingers through his green hair.
"Oh Zegram, are you done with work already?" Zegram was always careful with what he said around her. He kept it a secret that he had been stealing from the grocer and others who were not paying attention. As far as his mom knew, he was out doing odd jobs around town for whatever could be spared. Zegram held her hand feeling her shiver. It was the dead of winter and the house got very cold. All she had over her was her thin clothes and a raggedy blanket. Zegram wasn't much better in his miss-matched outfit of old clothes. Some of which were too small for him.
"Yes mother, I helped the grocer take some produce out. He said I could keep what I could carry when I was done." He could never fully lie to his mother. He relied on half-truths to keep her from knowing what he truly did. She wouldn't be able to take the worry about him if she knew. "I will go and make you some soup." He kissed her forehead running off back to the kitchen. Zegram got to work fixing the soup. He had to make two batches. One for him and his mother, and the other was for his father. Zegram made sure to not to mix them up. Zegram hoped he would like it. It would be his last meal he ever ate.
Zegram's father was an abusive drunkard. Whatever money he made working at the steel mills were spent at the closest bar and whatever girl happened to be out at the time. He would physically, verbally, and emotionally abuse both Zegram and his mother. Zegram still had a few bruises and marks from the last time he stood up to him. Zegram knew that he couldn't take on the large burly man physically, but he could take advantage of his stupidity, allergy, and poison. Zegram got a hold of some poisons and slipped it into his soup before he came home. Zegram made his and his mother's soup with cauliflower. His father was violently allergic to it. When his father came home that night, Zegram had just put his bowl on the table, and was about to take his mothers to her.
"Welcome home sir, how was work today?" He asked politely. He forced a smile on his face. He father would beat him every time he didn't call him sir. He was ashamed of having a skinny weakling for a son, and reminded Zegram every chance he got.
"None of your business boy!" He snapped. "Is my food ready?" Zegram nodded not looking him in the eyes.
"Yes sir, its already on the table for you." Zegram's father pushed him roughly out of his way, as he made his way to the table. Zegram nearly dropped the bowl of soup for his mother. He managed to catch it and walk inside the bedroom. This is it He though with a wide snake like smile. His smile returned to normal once he was inside the room with his mother. He helped her sit up and fed her the soup. He did not mind helping her though he did wish he could watch his father's death. His mother would say something that caught him off guard.
"I think something is wrong with your father, can you check up on him?" Zegram never understood why she cared for that abusive drunk, but he got up and headed back to living room. He stopped for a moment when he realized it. The tone in her voice. It was not her sweet caring tone that she usually has. It had an undertone of venom and understanding. She had somehow knew what he was doing and was allowing him to watch the death of the man that made their lives miserable. He proceeded to stand behind his father as he took his first bite. Soon he was coughing heavily clutching his throat. The poison he used would simulate his allergic reaction to cauliflower. His throat will start to swell as his skin discolors.
"You know it’s funny." Zegram said walking in front of his father confidently. "You throw you weight around here and act tough. You belittle me for being weak, but how is it you that is dying?" He taunted. His father tried to grab him, but Zegram was too fast, and his father's muscles were seizing up. "I truly hated you, I don't think that was a secret. You neglect and abuse us, but I can take it if it was only me. You hurt my mom and that was the nail that closed your coffin." He walked behind him whispering in his hear with a hiss.“You brought this on yourself, but I will take pleasure for every minute you are in agonizing pain.” With that said, his father starting having a seizure. Zegram just watched with a wicked smile on his face as he placed his father’s fedora on his head. He liked the fedora. It was actually his mother’s father’s hat, but the bastard took it because he could. He laughed lightly as the light faded form his father’s eyes. It was over. He had won.
Next to no one came to the funeral. The only reason it was even held was so no one suspected anything. It was at this funeral that Zegram first started to see spirits, or at least noticing them. Before he left he saw his father staring at him next to his grave. Zegram tried to ignore it and move on thinking that it was a trick of his imagination. Over the years Zegram saw his father time and again. It wasn’t until he was twenty one when things got out of hand.
When he was tending to his mother, a hallow appeared attacking their shack. It was as tall as a five story building and looked something like a mutated ape. It took his mother first since she was the easiest to catch. It devoured her easily. She was too weak from her illness to even resist. Zegram was too horrified to move. He eaten soon after. He was hallowfied clinging to his want to exist. He became a large snake like hallow. He lost track of the ape hallow that attacked him during his transformation.
As Zegram devoured humans one could notice a pattern. He never ate any women. It was only children and men that he went after. If he happened to encounter a hallow chasing a woman to eat, he would kill that hallow and devour it. It was certainly odd behavior. When it came to soul reapers, he was the exact same way. When a group or solo soul reaper would attack him, he would devour the men and only injure the women. He would hurt them just enough, so that that they couldn’t peruse him. There was one soul reaper in particular that confronted him that he could not bring himself to touch. She stood before him unfazed by his power which at this point was approaching Minos levels. He did his best to intimidate her, but she would not back down. She seemed to enjoy the battle as Zegram fought defensivly. It confused and angered the woman that he would not attack, and that she was having so much trouble bringing him down.
Her tanned skin was drenched in sweat. Her long raven hair blew in the chilly northern wind. They were at a stale mate. If Zegram would bring himself to attack the woman he probably would have been able to devour her. She glared at him as he waited to see what the woman’s next move was. He coiled around some buildings trying to anticipate her next move. She wiped her brow staying in a fighting stance trying to figure out why he wouldn’t attack her.
“Why, why will you not fight me!?” She shouted at Zegram. “Are you that pathetic of a hallow you can’t eat a woman!?” She said trying to taunt him. Zegram roared before his form starting to change as if in answer to her taunts. His body twists and convulses forming into a Gillian. Normally all Gillians look exactly the same, but his mask was similar to his original snake like mask. Before the soul reaper could attack or call for back-up, a hole tore open in the sky and a beam of light encased Zegram. He rose through the hole which closed behind him taking him to Huaco Mundo.
Zegram prowled the Minos forest hunting down and devouring other Gillian hallows. In this state he would eat anything and everything that he could catch to gain more power. He was relentless. He would only stop hunting for a few hours or so after each large meal like a snake does to digest his food. It wasn’t long before he changed form into the next form his adjucha form. He regained some of his planning and higher thinking abilities at this point. He used his wits and silver tongue to gather large packs of other adjuchas. He would gather these hallows to suddenly turn on them eating them all when they least expected it. His serpentine form became fairly infamous around the Minos forest making it hard to find large sources of food easily with the exception of the occasional group of Gillians.
Zegram was then forced out of the Minos Forest and into the endless desert. He wondered aimlessly trying to figure out what to do now. He knew that he could not keep this form for long. He was far too conspicuous and something was missing in this form. Frustration over took him for the first time in a long time. He slammed his fist into his mask cracking it. He stopped hearing the crack and carefully removing the loose bits. He blindly clawed at the mask. He found a small watering hole and saw his reflection. He smiled noting how good looking he was. He surely was able to get a few girl or two easily.
He stopped thinking on what he just thought. He hadn’t thought such things for a long time. He smiled and inspected his new body. His clothes, size, and facial features. He liked it a lot. He noticed a fedora among the remnants of his mask. He picked it up setting it on his head. Felling it on his head gave him a sense of comfort. He smiled and turned looking up to the moon and eternal night. It was time to leave his own mark in this place of chaos.
