This is a fated meeting, James is trying to understand more of the world and to become strong enough to protect it but he cannot do it alone. He hears Zachariah on the phone talking of the tails of a man with the last name "Uzaki." And after some research finds an address that matches up with the name. He needs allies, but similarly to Captain Wonderful, He wants to know if they are willing to stand with him, and so the incurring madness ensues.

Sitting on the couch as a stuffed animal, odd sensation to be a stuffed animal. Jem turned his head and listened. He could hear bits and pieces of Brother Zachariah's conversion with Another Brother of the Veil. Was it Uriel? The other brother was a funny but imposing mod soul. Six foot tall and hmmm what was the word to describe Uriel... It'd probably be imposing, Uriel was almost three hundred pounds of solid muscle. Of Jem's Father's group, Uriel was the bruiser of the group. His power was dangerous to those that didn't understand it's concept. Jem remembered Uriel explaining it to him, Righteous blaze. His powers were what allowed him to stand toe to toe with some of the hosts of hell single handedly. He wondered where Uriel and the others were, somewhere with a phone obviously. Uriel's dark skin and golden eyes were probably standing out unless he was wearing his shades.
What could they possibly be talking about that could last for two hours though, their travel planning never took this long. Jem let the TV keep going as he slid off of the couch and snuck towards the kitchen, he had to jump over the one squeaky board. It took him a few tries before he learned which one exactly was the squeaky one that could tip off Brother Zachariah to his approach. He couched to floor and listened through the crack at the bottom of the door. Sometimes while this stuffed animal thing sucked, it did come in handy sometimes. Jem shivered in anticipation of having his own body, and being able to listen in. Brother Zachariah's voice was strained and fast, as if something was bothering him. "They shouldn't be this close, There's no need. Any hollow that springs up is easily dispatched by any of the many spiritual entities in this area." There was a pause, Uriel was talking and yet Jem couldn't hear him no matter how hard he tried. "It's true, they could be beefing up their patrols due to the amount of spiritual activities lately. And even more, I witnessed briefly one of them fighting what looked like Uzaki Kazura. Yet i didn't sense reiastu on his person at all, I hurried home to check on James so I didn't see the outcome. But it's true they're getting restless to be coming in groups like that."
At that moment, flashes of fire swirled through the mod soul's mind. His plushie slumped over as a surge of hatred and evil fought it's way to the surface... Kill... Destroy.... Must... Destroy... Thoughts of everything, everyone he knew peeling away piece by piece, until nothing but skeletons remained and even then the dust that their bones made were no more, and yet it all happened in what seemed like seconds. Nothing he could do could stop it and worse was that he didn't want to. He wanted to kill, to destroy and leave nothing behind. It was worthy of destruction, worthy of hel-- NO!!!! He shook his head and noticed that Brother Zechariah was still talking. But the clock on the stove showed that he had passed out for about ten minutes. He struggled to his feet and heeved himself up the stair, damn that she-demon. Damn her for what she did to him, though he would never say it aloud. He hated himself for what he had become. As if something evil had turned him from his course.
He made it upstairs and got on his computer, it had taken him almost twenty minutes to get to the appropriate webpage. He hated being trapped in this plushie when stuff like this came to light. He couldn't type like a regular person. And if he asked Zachariah for help and told him what to search, the brother would know that he had listened in. So it took a while to get where he wanted to go. A Google search proved to be useful, he was able to use the name he could remember. Uzaki, to find what looked to be a business address. Uzaki Enterprises. He memorized the address, and a route that wouldn't take too much trouble to get there and would provide plenty of shelter from the prying eyes of normal humans. Now there was nothing left to do but go there and try to find an ally in this Kazura Uzaki like he had in Captain Wonderful. Jem shook his head, Captain Wonderful was an odd fellow but a good one at heart. At least, Jem thought so. He turned off his computer and jumped down crossing the room, grabbing his light string and pulling it. The lights went out and Jem jumped into his bed, too small to be a fit in anything but a toy box Jem's eyes closed and he fell asleep...
The next day, Jem jumped out of bed. Running over to his window, he lifted the window and jumped out the window. Everything going, oh dear... A gust of wind caught the plushie mid jump blasting him off balance. This was not good, he was gonna! -slam!- He hit the privacy fence across the way in the back alley. owwwwwwwwwwww.......................... He thought to himself, that one hurt. Well, kinda hurt as pain was different in a plushie form. It was pain in the mind as there really was nothing in the body to actually feel. He hit the ground and scrambled up, dusting himself off. He needed to get going before Zachariah woke up and noticed him being gone. He ran up the alley to the street corner. He looked around, there were small groups of people. But his window was closing. He needed to catch a ride on the bus, rushing across the sidewalk he leaped onto the bumper and wrapped his arm on the back advertisement sign sliding his body behind it, lodging himself and hiding from view. Stage one complete!
Traveling through town was easy enough, he just stopped moving and pretended he was just a doll to anyone who managed to actually see him. Though by the time most did, the bus was already moving again, it took him two circuits to get the stop right. He was worried he'd never get himself free at the right stop and have little to no people around when he did. But the third time was a charm, and he scurried into cover as he made his way closer to the door. He watched and waited and a half hour later he was able to sneak past the doorman. On his way he noticed the directory, Kazura Uzaki - CEO. That meant Kazura was probably at the top of this thing, how was Jem going to get up there...? His best bet was going to be the elevator, and his luck was semi-holding as the lobby was almost empty.
He edged around the entrance hall, getting closer to the elevator. Hmmm maybe not. He saw the stair well down the hall from the elevator doors. It saying maintenance use only. He edged past the elevator staying out of sight of human eyes and got into the stairwell. He didn't look up but he was sure that there was probably a gazillion stairs. His irritation flared again, and with it the sensation to rip burn and destroy. His legs wobbled and he put a digi head to the wall to steady himself. Get it together James... He began to climb, it was tiring work as while he was fast as a human he wasn't as big as one and so he had taken a bit of effort to travel the flights of stair possible. Though even as he reached the top of the stair well it became apparent the stairs didn't go all the way to the top he would still have to take the elevator.
He exited the stairwell and sneaked as stealthily as he could into the elevator. Shadowing a young man, he road the elevator up to the top floor. The floor of Kazura Uzaki, the young man stopped at the receptionist's desk and began talking about paper's Mr. Uzaki needed to sign. Kazura used that moment to sneak past and into Uzaki Kazura's cracked door. He had made it, turning around he was excited to be able to say that he had accomplished something. He took in the grandest of the office. But he was wearily nervous. Behind the desk was the man that he could only guess was Kazura. Yet, Kazura looked barely older than someone in his twenties? He was barely more than Jem was in age? probably? Physically? or was it mentally? Jem couldn't remember, as being in a plushie kind of squashed that of train of thought. He needed to be careful, he didn't know how sneaking in there would be taken. Or if Kazura even noticed him at all. After all, Jem couldn't sense a lick of reiastu from the human.

Fullbring... was an interesting power. Taking on the responsibility of protecting the human race to the best of his ability, Kazura Uzaki: CEO of Uzaki Enterprises had decided that he would accept the energy that he had been rejecting for so long. He felt dirty, felt corrupted, felt diseased, but he knew that it had been his last resort. He had bitten off more than he could chew and had targeted a Shinigami noble to try and obtain research, and to try to purchase a Zanpakutou. The former went as well as it could for challenging an opponent who would not back down, would not show mercy, and would not relent. The latter... failed miserably. The swords could not and would not be parted from their owners by money, or by force.
Kazura was in his lab very early in the morning, analyzing the belt that had been transformed into his sealed Fullbring. He ran test after test on it, but could come up with nothing. It had some spiritual energy to it, but no more or less than Kazura himself was exuding at the moment. The whole concept of reiatsu wasn't foreign to him, but the feeling of it existing in his own body felt strange and foreign. He wasn't quite sure who he was any more. Was he still a billionaire, yes, was his name still Kazura Uzaki, yes, but was he the same man who fought injustice with just the works of his hands? Was an outpouring of reiatsu the same as building something with sweat and tears?
That last question had yet to be answered.
After another unsuccessful trip through the lab, Kazura gathered up some tools and equipment and brought his toolbox up to his office. He knew that today had a fair amount of paperwork as he had to go through all the legal bureaucracy in order to sell his new line of firearms to the public vendors. He hadn't yet had any success in the spiritual market, but the random citizen needed the protection that guns could provide more so than the spiritual community did. Either way, it was going to be profitable, but take a fair amount of paperwork in order to provide. Upon reaching his office, he collected the first stack of papers from his secretary and entered the private room.
The toolbox was left alone for a moment as he filled out some forms and signed some things, and out of habit he turned on his security cameras and thumbed through his upgraded modes. After Kazuko's arrival and explanation of Gigai, he had made sure that he was able to detect Shinigami who were not wearing the flesh suits, just in case they wanted to spy on him or invade his home base. He hadn't noticed anything weird yet, as it was still early in the morning and Jem had yet to appear.
When the paperwork was finished, for the moment, Kazura opened up his toolbox and pulled out the components he had placed in it. He wanted to work with his two models of guns, making sure that he was fully aware of how they worked inside and out. He wanted to be so proficient with disassembling and reassembling them that demonstrations of the weapons would become easy at conventions. If he could take it apart blindfolded and put it back together, then he'd easily be able to show curious customers the insides, put them back together, and have a live demonstration within seconds.
While idly practicing with his guns, Kazura noticed some abnormal movement on the security screens. He scanned through the different filters, not seeing any heat signatures or a shinigami, but was definitely picking up movement. Something with no body heat is moving down there, and it can be seen without spiritual eyes... What could possibly be travelling so auspiciously but also being completely undetected by my employees who are moving where they need to go? After studying the screens long enough, Kazura found the perpetrator. In his maintenance stairwell was... a toy? It looked like a stuffed toy from some children's show, but was definitely moving and acting with sentience. It rested, moved, and struggled with determination to get up the tall steps.
It eventually reached the top of the stairwell, but it wasn't done with its destination. It sneaked into an elevator behind one of Kazura's interns. Blasted Karakura High students... They really should watch their surroundings more often... Obviously this plushie was headed straight for the top, so Kazura acted quickly. He pressed the button for the windows to shift into the tinted mode, and pulled out one of his extra battle suits. He ripped the thing apart, tearing out the cameras and projectors. It didn't take long before his chair was projecting an image of him sitting in it and having a pen pressed to paper. He made the image look as though he was in deep focus, then set it on a permanent loop as he hid in the corner with the door cracked open.
Just as he thought, Jem wandered into the room underneath the gaze of his secretary who was far too short to see over her desk to the floor. Even if she had been twenty feet tall, this thing knew what it was doing and crept to the side of the desk's wall. Note to self... motion detectors on the bottom of the desks. Will also catch any mice that wander in here, so that'll help two things. Unsure of how to neutralize a toy effectively, Kazura merely shut and locked the door with one hand while grabbing Jem by the back of the neck in the other. He didn't have the time to try any fancy combat moves, just enough to hoist the thing off the ground and whisper into it's... ear hole thingy.

Nothing, no reiastu... except there was... oh no... A hand descended upon Jem. It was faster than him and gripped him around his neck and the lower portion of his head due to his small size. Almost like a ghost he heard someone speak directly into his ear. "So what do we have here? A toy gone rogue?" Jem, sad to say lost his composure. "Ahhhhhhh!!!!!! Let me go, let me go you, or... or... or.. you'll be sorry. This is not cool, why are you hoisting me up like a ragdoll, I have feelings too you know!" Sadly if a plushie could cry, he would have at that moment. His arms and legs were flapping around comically.
To Kazura it would seem almost like he had just picked up someone who was possibly 12 or thirteen. But in reality Jem was older, he was just freaking out. His awesome spy mission was ruined at the final hurdle. He was so close, he needed to talk to Kazura. "Look just let me go, I need to talk to him." He was gesturing to with his wargreymon head to Kazura, well the image of Kazura. Oddly enough, he couldn't see the real Kazura due to the way he had been grabbed by the human. He could only assume he had been caught red-handed by one of his bodyguards. "Please I need to speak with him, he knows about the shinigami!"
He was almost shouting and his voice was resonating within the toy due to intensity of his speaking. His panic gave into fear, and his fear turned into something darker. The voice came back into his mind, his body going limp as it gained volume in his head. Fear... Destroy... Destroy... All... Fear..., Kill... Burn... Destroy!!! To Kazura holding him, he suddenly after mentioning shinigami went weak and reiastu started to pour off him, first white and then turning reddish black. It wasn't hurting Kazura to touch it, but he could feel the pain and the fear, the evil when the black reiastu began to seep out, it was sinister and sickening.
Jem himself was whimpering, "No..., no... can't... won't... can't... destroy... please... stop..." The plushie was rough, maybe? But it was clearly infused with reiastu, and somehow alive. This wasn't normal, okay... a plushie talking and walking and being sentient in the first place wasn't normal. But Kazura probably was used to the spiritual world weirdness, and by those standards this wasn't normal. What was going on with this toy? Back in his mind, he could still hear the voice, the growling and screaming that was his own. It felt different yet similar, as if the evil voice was his own but not his own. It scared Jem, everything at that moment scared Jem.
To Kazura, the plushie was limp with the occasional twitch and of course the whimpering. Jem was at his mercy, but there was no denying the pain in the voice coming from the toy, The reiastu that was seeping out was starting to turn white again and then sputter out. It was of course up to Kazura for the next course of action, as even with the Toy seemingly regaining consciousness, asking for someone that sounded like "Zachariah" It didn't seem very threatening. What would the human do?

For some reason the Digimon toy was looking for Kazura. The thing kicked and complained and squirmed as it was held dangling off the ground, but the fight didn't last for long. "Please I need to speak with him, he knows about the shinigami!" Kazura was intrigued that this doll knew about the spiritual race, and very surprised when the whole plush figure went completely limp at the mention of the word Shinigami. Jem started to twitch and mutter while reiatsu poured off of his body in various colors.
Kazura tossed the doll aside, making Jem bounce a little against the ground. "Well you've found me. What do you want?" The human admired the tenacity of the little guy for coming all the way up the building just to see him about Shinigami, while also dodging all of his employees, however, he wasn't about to let himself be covered in that kind of hurt and afraid reiatsu. It didn't take long for the red and black reiatsu to fade back to white and then sputter out, so hopefully the toy would have the mental(?) faculties to be able to hold a conversation.

Jem opened his eyes, it was dark… or his face was against the floor. He put his hands to the floor and pushed up, his arms shaking. It made no sense really, that a toy’s arms would be shaky but they were. He pushed himself up onto his hands and knees. Looking up, he saw the man who had grabbed him was… Kazura? Looking over at the desk, the other Kazura was still writing or appeared to be writing, No reiastu… perhaps a video recording? It had taken him too long to put together such a thought when it came to the technology. He looked around again, nothing else really that threatening and the voice were gone. The human was looking at him expectantly, leaning against his desk. "Well you've found me. What do you want?" Jem struggled to his feet.
He was about to speak but then stopped, what did he want? He wanted answers, but were those answers the ones he wanted? How did Kazura know about the Shinigami as a human, and how did he know about the spiritual world? More to the point, how did he fight a spiritual being when he had a material body? There were so many questions bubbling to the surface now that he was faced with someone of intelligence. Not that Captain Wonderful was stupid; he was just… well he found it hard to focus in Jem’s opinion. Not only did he find it hard to focus, he really didn’t know much when he did focus. Hmm, he was distracting himself.
“Why don’t we start with how you even know about Shinigami?” Jem stood up to his full one and a half foot height. He was a large plushie, but by god he wouldn’t look helpless. The Shinigami were supposed to be invisible to humans, not to mention they were supposed to be able to interact with them in any physical way. “What is more, how do you know about the spiritual world?” There were stories of humans that could detect spirits but from what he’d learned. They were normally sheltered people, nothing like a big fancy CEO of a big fancy company. “Also, how could you fight against them? Your body is made of material particles right? Spiritual bodies shouldn’t be able to so carelessly interact with humans like you.” Or so he thought, perhaps he was wrong. Perhaps it wasn’t as complicated as he assumed. If it wasn’t maybe they had seen more spiritual races then he’d realized, all of them just masking their reiastu.
“You fought them right? My guardian saw you fighting them. He said it was amazing, that no human should have done that well, let alone be able to fight at all.” His voice had a hint of exasperation and admiration; he respected Kazura even though he didn’t even know him. It was because of the fact he was able to stand up to the Shinigami when he needed to instead of being steam rolled like Jem would if he tried at this very moment. He shifted his weight from one foot to the other, keeping his eyes on the human before breathing. Though, in a plushie he didn’t need to, at least he was pretty sure he didn’t need to. “I came here to find allies, our world. The physical world is in danger of hollows, I want to help, but as it stands I’m too weak to fight by myself. So I’ve come looking for allies. That’s why I snuck up here; it’s why I came to see you.”
He paused letting the human answer, to him Kazura looked barely older than he was or how old Zachariah told him he himself was. He knew the age groups by watching countless faces pass by as he stared on unable to inhabit a gigai body. He wanted a body so bad, his eyes flicking over his form. He enjoyed being in an Omnimon, as it was preferable to something like a unicorn or a doll. You could say that Zachariah spoiled him in that regard, but at the moment that wasn’t what was important what were important were Kazura’s answers. He could shed light for Jem that had long been a form of darkness. Though there were still dark spots, the demons, the half breeds, and his kind. So much was being kept form him.
Post by Kazura Uzaki on Sept 3, 2014 22:09:37 GMT -5
This felt extremely silly, however, Kazura rested up against the wall as the toy picked itself up off the ground. Could this be advanced robotics of one of Kazura's competitors? An ambush that was meant to intimidate him or even kill him so that his company would die? If so, then why would the thing have mentioned the Shinigami? Jem seemed to hesitate, as if there wasn't a good answer to the question the fullbringer had asked... or there were too many answers. Kazura quickly found out that it was the latter possibility, that this toy had a ton of questions to ask. “Why don’t we start with how you even know about Shinigami?”
That word choice, "why don't we start with", could only have meant there were quite a few questions to follow. Kazura waited for the end of the question, then spoke quickly to interrupt Jem's train of speech if he was just going to rattle off questions. "We'll trade questions, you and I. I know of the Shinigami because I have seen them and they have seen me." A cryptic answer, possibly, but one that conveyed all of the information necessary. Kazura had seen the Shinigami, and the Shinigami had noticed that they had been seen. "Now for my question. What is your name?"
“What is more, how do you know about the spiritual world?” A tricky question, because Kazura only knew of the "spiritual world" from conversations with what he saw as enemies. He knew of the Hollows that were a threat and a poison to his world, in his mind, but he knew actually very little of the Soul Society, and nothing at all about Hueco Mundo. He didn't even know that Hueco Mundo existed, even though he has his Batcave located there. "Ask the right questions in the right way, and even those who you consider your enemy will spill all kinds of secrets. My second question. What is your Quest?" Another vague answer, but Jem could always waste more questions if he wanted to, trying to get clarification.
“Also, how could you fight against them? Your body is made of material particles right? Spiritual bodies shouldn’t be able to so carelessly interact with humans like you.” Kazura chuckled. "Ah ah ah! That was two questions." Joke aside, Kazura had a lot of memories to sift through with the most recent two questions. He remembered John the Quincy who was capable of cutting through his armor like butter. He remembered Grin who had moved at such blinding speed and pumped out such serious gravity that the Uzaki inventor was flattened. And worst of all... he remembered Souza. But he put that last thought out of his mind.
Kazura had to press his questions quick or he would find himself interrogated further by the curious plushie. "What is the average windspeed velocity of an unladen swallow? Just kidding. What are you? Wasting his first question of the pair for the sake of a joke, the really important question was that second one. It would give Kazura a greater insight into why this toy was in his office. “You fought them right? My guardian saw you fighting them. He said it was amazing, that no human should have done that well, let alone be able to fight at all.” Kazura was strong enough to stay calm at that last question, but inside he was more saddened than encouraged by the account of the "guardian" of the toy.
"Depends on your definition of the words "fight" and "well", but yes, I have engaged them in combat." Now that Kazura had gotten the basis of an understanding of who and what the thing in front of him was, it was time for a more targeted question. "What do you need from me?" It seemed that the answer to his question already came as part of Jem's thought out inquiry, because the toy responded without a lot of hesitation. I came here to find allies, our world. The physical world is in danger of hollows, I want to help, but as it stands I’m too weak to fight by myself. So I’ve come looking for allies. That’s why I snuck up here; it’s why I came to see you.” Hmmm... Interesting. Another ally and employee would be interesting, but this was a toy. Sure he could employ a Rogue Shinigami that couldn't be seen by any of his non-gifted staff, but seriously, employing a walking Digimon toy?
Kazura was quite a selfish guy, which was why when Jem said he was looking for allies the human construed that as "I want to serve under you because I am weaker and less cool and less awesome." The fullbringer got up off the wall and mentally willed the bookshelf in the back of his office room to open up revealing a secret elevator. "Well then I've guess I better take you down the express elevator then. I've gotta see what you're capable of before I decide if you can join me or not." Without even missing a beat, and revealing his narcissistic and self-centered attitude, Kazura simply strode across the room into the elevator, waiting for the mod soul before pushing the bottom most button. When they got to the bottom of the basement of the tower, they'd exit the elevator into a large dojo like area perfect for moving around.

Hmm, Jem was being rude. He had sort of steam rolled Kazura’s questions before he took a breath, he of course had heard all of Kazura’s questions. But he was saving his answers to the end, or trying to. "We'll trade questions, you and I. I know of the Shinigami because I have seen them and they have seen me." The human, Kazura proposed they would answer each other in turn. Jem sighed in his mind; he knew that this would have a chance of happening. But as for his answer, it didn’t answer much. He was spiritually aware. That was for sure, but was it happenstance that they did battle? Perhaps he had the luck or bad luck to run into them, or did he seek them out willingly? "Now for my question, what is your name?" Oh, what would Jem answer to that…? He couldn’t just give out his name willy nilly again a second time could he? Captain Wonderful said that heroes never gave out their secret identity. On the other hand, he did come here looking for Kazura’s help. Some trust had to be extended. “Jem… My name is Jem; it is nice to meet you.”
He asked his second question, to which he received a cryptically long response, “Ask the right questions in the right way, and even those who you consider your enemy will spill all kinds of secrets. My second question, what is your Quest?" If he wasn’t going to be serious, Jem wasn’t going to pose an answer to that question. I mean, it had some strategic value in the wording; perhaps he thought Jem was an enemy in disguise? He would soon prove the human otherwise. He hadn’t threatened what Jem cared about, and he wanted to be sure that allies could be found. So he was willing to put trust into this human, he was young and the naivety of that trust could abused or manipulated possibly. Jem was however on his toes, so as not to reveal any secrets that were not his. He asked his next two questions, quickly too without need for pause and before Kazura could attempt to ask any of his own. But that wasn’t something Kazura missed either.
The human chuckled at him, "Ah ah ah! That was two questions." He seemed to pause at the questions Jem posed after his next joke; honestly it was like he wasn’t taking it very seriously. Jem’s mind tinged on frustration, if he wasn’t going to take this serious how they were going to get anywhere in the future. "What is the average wind speed velocity of an unlade swallow? Just kidding, what are you?” Seriously… now he was starting to get the reference. This human was quoting Monte Python and the quest for the Holy Grail, really? Did he think this was a joke; yes it was a funny movie. But now was not the time to be quoting such things…. Pause! Hold up, back up. Jem mentally slammed on the brakes to the last question. That was a serious question, or rather the second question at the end. What was he? It was true he looked like a toy and if you ripped him open he would have white fluff, just like a toy. But Jem had nestled in all that white fluff, his pill self. Jem’s true form, small and helpless outside of the fluff of the plushie should anyone attempt to harm him.
“I am a mod soul. Our full race name, are modified Souls. We as a collective are a race of souls created by the Shinigami. However, as my guardian has educated me. We as a race were supposed to be eliminated as the project that led to our creation was dubbed immoral.” His tone was soft and full of sadness. It was a sad tale after all. The mod souls were created to serve the Shinigami, and the Shinigami had casted them aside only to be killed by their creators through no fault of their own. It was not their fault that they existed, yet they were hunted down like animals. The horror was, they were anything but animals. “Though through it we were created with not only the powers to serve, but with the mind to make decisions and we grew to love, to hate, and we developed the will to want to survive. I am a part of a race that has been hunted. We have survived on the fringe for years, yet we have survived. And it is for that survival I have come before you now.” It wasn’t a childlike voice that spoke this truth, but one that spoke of maturity and forethought for something larger than he should have been capable of. Perhaps there was more to this plushie than Kazura first thought of.
His next question produced a solemn glance from the human, so he smudged the details of the fight and he was trying to seem more likable to the human. It seemed it was a bad experience for him; perhaps it was why he looked downtrodden all of a sudden. "Depends on your definition of the words "fight" and "well", but yes, I have engaged them in combat." Hmm, Jem was right. He had lost against whichever Shinigami he had fought against, and the way that he said it. He not only lost, his pride had been hurt as well. Hmm, perhaps Jem could help with that. “Shinigami can be self-righteous and they can be cruel but their objective is none the less pure. To cleanse our world of the hollow and their kind, but some lose direction and some only follow what they wish for selfish gain. It is an odd collective, or so I think. But I’ve never actually met one yet.” This was true, Zachariah always made sure that there was no reiastu to sense in the area by suppressing theirs whenever he sensed a Shinigami’s reiastu in the area. However, he had to believe from the stories they couldn’t all be bad. There were after all, some actual bad Mod souls, just as there were good mod souls, but Jem didn’t feel like mentioning that at the moment.
His next question asking what Jem wanted was swiftly answered in kind by his speech about his quest for allies. He seemed to consider it for a moment, before a bookcase opened up behind the Mod soul. Jem wandered what it could be, but Kazura wasn’t one to disappoint or keep him waiting. "Well then I've guess I better take you down the express elevator then. I've got to see what you're capable of before I decide if you can join me or not." Join him? Why was everyone so intent on them making Jem join them? Why couldn’t it be a mutual thing? Jem audibly sighed; Kazura seemed a little full of himself. But that wasn’t a deal breaker, at least not yet. Jem needed to see where this would go first. He wasn’t strong enough to head out on his own. So he’d have to figure out where this went, whether it was for good or ill but he was pretty optimistic. He crossed the room and rode the elevator down to what seemed like a basement level. Upon exit he walked into the large room, he gave it a once over.
It was a dojo, one large enough for several people too. Plenty of room for open combat in various methods he figured. But the mats would help the cushioning of any throws or falls anyone training here would receive. He walked in curiously making sure to mind his step, but he did turn and look over at Kazura’s face gauging his expression. It was probably a curious thing, though this guy fought against Shinigami and possibly Hollows. So he probably wasn’t surprised at all. “You said you wanted to see what I was capable of?” Jem inquired, “What exactly did you want to see?” He was being forward and honest with Kazura, and he expected the same curtsey, though he wasn’t sure he was getting it… maybe all Kazura saw was strength? He’d find out soon enough, after all it was what he was here for.

“I am a mod soul. Our full race name, are modified Souls. We as a collective are a race of souls created by the Shinigami. However, as my guardian has educated me. We as a race were supposed to be eliminated as the project that led to our creation was dubbed immoral.” ... Another race, like the Bount, created by the Shinigami and then cast off as if it wasn't worthy of life. Already Kazura had added another crime of the Shinigami to the growing list and he hadn't even really judged the character of this "Modified Soul" yet. "Though through it we were created with not only the powers to serve, but with the mind to make decisions and we grew to love, to hate, and we developed the will to want to survive. I am a part of a race that has been hunted. We have survived on the fringe for years, yet we have survived. And it is for that survival I have come before you now.” This was a noble cause. Kazura approved.
In response to that answer, Kazura had a few quick words. "First Bount, now Mod Souls... Where will the destruction of the Shinigami end..." After saying that, and then mentioning the less than successful fights he had, Jem thought it best to deliver a mini lecture on the purity of Shinigami actions which he ended with "But I’ve never actually met one yet.” This caused the human to chuckle. "Then how can you pretend to know that their objective is pure? I know that you have been hunted, but so have I. They systematically get in my way when I try to assist protecting this world. It's selfish and unwise to reject help." The Fullbringer was quite against the Shinigami at this point in time, something that Jem seemed to share, which would probably bring them closer together as friends in the future, but for now they were simply interrogating the other for the information they sought.
“You said you wanted to see what I was capable of? What exactly did you want to see?” Ah, the million dollar question. That was the question Kazura was more than happy to hear. And more than happy to respond to. He cleared his throat before launching into a seemingly scripted response. "You see, Jem, everyone has potential and everyone has talent. Especially you. However, not everyone has talent in all things. Some people are quiet and make for poor figureheads for a mass speech, however, put them in a 1 on 1 mentoring situation and they will shine brighter than the one who can speak to millions. The man paused, waiting for his words to sink in, even though they weren't all that difficult to understand. It was a pretty simple message. "I want to see what you are talented at. What do you take pride in doing? Are you more like the speaker to millions, or maybe you're the speech writer? Whatever it is, tell me about what you are talented at, and show me if you can."

One thing that Kazura would have noticed now that was slightly hidden was upon entering and leaving the elevator. The mod Soul had knocked three times upon the door frame, He listened to the human, “You see, Jem everyone has potential and everyone has talent. Especially you. However, not everyone has talent in all things. Since some people are quiet and make poor figureheads for a mass speech, however, put them one on one mentoring situation and they will shine brighter than the one who can speak to millions.” He paused, and Jem started to feel this would be a bit more complicated than he had originally thought. Jem frowned internally, how much of himself would he have to expose? But, wasn’t this what he wanted? He was coming here for allies, but you never received something for nothing. And if he wanted an ally, he would have to trust in Kazura.
“I want to see what you’re talented at. What do you take pride in doing? What are more like, the speaker to millions, or maybe more the speech writer? Whatever it is, tell me about what you are talented at, and show me if you can.” He sat down on one of the mats cross legged; it honestly wasn’t much of a difference height wise. He pondered the question for it was something that he didn’t honestly want to do. He was shy and though he wanted allies, he didn’t want to have to go through interrogation to get them. Perhaps, though he was just looking at it the wrong way. He was looking at it as if he was being questioned and had no choice but to spill everything. He for now would give Kazura the answers he needed but he would keep some things hidden. Some things he didn’t even trust himself with, he couldn’t speak of it.
He chose his words with care, “I am young, but I am a warrior. My guardian exists within a group of warriors known as the Brothers of the Veil. It is our job to eradicate the spawn of hell whenever it is able to bubble up to our plane of existence. I love cats, and I have a talent for reading situations both combative and non-combative. I’m also trying to develop a weapon, and from it a style. Known as the Gunchaku Style, to work in concert with the Shaolin Kung-Fu I have learned. Once I’m strong enough, I’ll be able to inhabit a gigai.” He paused letting that sink in, and if Kazura didn’t ask what a gigai was, he’d continue but if he did. He’d explain. “A gigai is a faux body. A sort of fake body that the true me can inhabit and it looks and feels as if I’m human. Though the faux body or gigai, I can freely interact with both the material and spiritual world.”
He looked up at the human and extended his hands, “There is one more thing. I have other abilities that tie into destruction. That is to say destruction on its highest form, so far I can only effect things of the material world and only that which my hands touch. But if I do and I’m strong enough, whatever section of whatever I touch with my hands ceases to exist.” That was the linchpin of James’ fighting style, no matter what attacked him. He would always be able to break them in the most primordial way, and it sickened him. That was what his power was, it was pure uninhibited destruction. But it wasn’t what he was. He was his own person, he would overcome the evil inside him, and he would be a protector of the world and his people. He got to his feet after a few moments. “You wanted me to show you, and so I shall."
His reiastu began to pump out again, white fire this time. Though it was merely the formatting of his reiastu taking a physical form he looked like he was bathed in flames. His voice sounded far away and resonate, “Destruct Level 1 activate.” His cape flapped from the expended power and his hands were covered in an expanding shroud of ethereal flames. “This is that power, Kazura. This is the power of destruct. Once I attain my faux body it will become even more powerful, though I still have room to grow in this plushie. Now, how would you like me to demonstrate it?” He looked serious as he looked at the human. Destruct was a serious thing, not to be taken for granted, but Jem would show Kazura what he needed and then make him an ally.

The plushie sat down crossed legged on the floor, which was odd but Kazura rolled with it. It was really strange talking to a toy, and if Kazura hadn't already seen absolutely crazy things in his short "spiritual life" so far, he'd be checking himself into an asylum right about now. Or firing the maids for drugging him with hallucinogens. Some sort of mixture of the two responses, most likely. Regardless, Kazura chose to sit down as well, as to portray that he and the toy were talking as equals. Sure, the Fullbringer was bigger, richer, and had actual flesh, but he would at least hear what Jem had to say as an equal, not as a superior lording over the toy.
Jem's description of himself was fascinating to Kazura. He counted himself a Warrior, even when he was in the form of a toy, he claimed to be part of a group that sought out and destroyed denizens of Hell, and he had a desire to make a weapon, among other things. Kazura could empathize with feelings and desires to be Warrior like, even when others might consider him weak, and had a particular distaste for Hell and its denizens. Just thinking about Discord and the other creatures who attacked Karakura Town made Kazura grit his teeth. He had been too weak, hadn't had enough allies, and was unable to save either Alpha or Beta.
Kazura would investigate further on the weapon that Jem wanted to create later, once the Mod Soul had explained what his Talents were. When Jem mentioned Destruction, Kazura's attention was definitely piqued. This would be interesting. Something the man never saw before, potentially. On command, the toy summoned white flames of energy around his hands, stating that it was capable of just destroying whatever it touched if there was enough power involved. When asked on how the toy should demonstrate, Kazura had the perfect plan. He stood up quickly, with a huge smile on his face. "Batter up!"
Lifting his foot off the ground like a Baseball pitcher would, he Commanded the soul of the dojo's floor to send up a baseball sized hunk of wood into his hand. With his average strength, he tossed it at Jem. It would barely bounce off of the toy if it struck him, unless Jem had really bad traction and strength, but it was moving slow enough that the Mod Soul had plenty of time and speed to react to it and hold out a hand powered by Destruct to collide with it. When the wood was destroyed, Kazura would definitely speak out of fascination and interest. "From where does this level of Destruction come? I've not seen anything like it."

OOC: Sorry, Sick, Short Post is Short!
Jem looked at Kazura, he raised his hands and took his stance. The wood flew towards Jem and his training took over, he struck out and attacked the wood. There was no resistance, and the wood floated by his hands and body passing harmlessly by. Jem finished the strike and ended his attack stance. Kazura spoke, "From where does this level of Destruction come? I've not seen anything like it." Jem looked at his hands and then to Kazura, his pupils dilating. He could see much more clearly, his senses were enhancing. His instincts becoming sharper, the mod soul could feel his powers increasing naturally. "Mod souls were a means of warfare, we were all given a power that we could use in combat somehow. My power, was changed when i was infected and tortured by demon reshi taint into the power you see before you."
He looked past Kazura and his eyes turned to the past. "It has not been without its sacrifices, I hear voices, see things. There is an evil that taints my soul, and I do everything I can to forestall it. But I fear that one day, that darkness will flare out of me and I'll be unable to stop it." He lowered his hands and the destruct continued to burned. "Grab whatever weapons and Armor you need, I'll show you that nothing can stop this power once it begins to take effect." Jem waited, there would be some waiting for Kazura to get the things he needed. But Jem's power would soon show him that there were some things in the world that could destroy everything.

Jem told Kazura that he had been tainted with demon reishi, which was an interesting concept, something that the inventor would love to experiment with some day, but not something that he felt like messing with before he had a very extreme laboratory with extra safeguards. And he really didn't want to test it right now either, especially on a single piece of his precious machinery. When Jem suggested that he grab any weapons and armor that he might need, Kazura put his hands up defensively. "That will not be necessary. I've seen what you can do, and don't think that any of my inventions be thrown away needlessly for me to see it again. I'm very proud of what I've made, and would hate to see it destroyed by your extremely Powerful Destruction."
Kazura was completely sincere with his praise of Jem's abilities. Absolute power like that was rare, and significant. With the right kind of application, no lock would be able to bar him, no door stop him, no cage bind him. He could go where he wanted, when he wanted, and be tough enough to hold his own if he got in trouble along the way. He could be a very useful ally. "I definitely can see that you would be a great ally. Let me show you what I can offer to a partnership." Kazura slid his belt out of the loops, showing off his sealed Fullbring to the mod soul. Activating it, a battle suit overtook his body, equipped with electrical circuits all down one side of his body.
"This is my Fullbring "The Manifest Power of Science". With it I can move around any of my Technological Creations, of which the number grows more and more. Would you like a demonstration of some of my inventions, or is this releasing of my Fullbring enough?"

Jem deactivated his destruct and the ethereal flames flickered and died, the plushie looked up at the Human with pride in himself. He was happy that someone looked at his power and praised him with honest sincerity, not thinly veiled disgust. It was something to note, however that Kazura was a human with spiritual capabilities and Jem was eager to see what he could do. How did Human manipulate the spiritual world for an actual release? In this James was completely ignorant, and this was sure to be a learning experience. He was giddy inside, learning, to making allies, to being able to show his power was actually usable for good. But he was getting distracted, he focused back on Kazura.
He needed to be polite and not get distracted when Kazura was talking, and he was right. Kazura wanted to see what Kazura would do. The human’s hand slit to his belt and he began to undo it… Jem’s eyes got wide and suddenly he felt very small. Wait, why was he taking off his belt?! Was he going to take off his pants?! W…Wh…What?! He started to fidget back a little before the belt became a source of reiastu amplifying out over the room. He looked on in confusion, until the belt changed forms, coating the human in a sort of battle armor. He noted the circuits dotting the one side of Kazura’s body. He looked like a cyborg.
Kazura spoke again, “This is my Fullbring, ‘the manifest power of Science.’ With it I can move around any of my technological creations, of which the number grows more and more. Would you like a demonstration of some of my inventions, or is this releasing of my fullbring enough for you?” Jem pondered the question. It was true this was astounding, he murmured “Fullbring huh?” So this was the release of the humans, Fullbring, and interesting concept indeed. Before he completely seemed like he was spacing out staring at Kazura he answered.
“Yes I’d enjoy to see how your fullbring works, it interacts to the world. But, it’s not dire at the moment unless you feel yourself that showing me is no problem. I’d like to see what else, weapons, armor, and spiritual technology you’ve been able to come up with. If I may make suggestions to any that I can to help you. Being a spiritual entity does have its advantages I guess.” He paused. “Unless you have something else in mind?”

OOC: Wow, longest post ever for me
Kazura was more than happy to show off his tools to the stuffed animal. Panels opened up on the wall by mental command and an assortment of weapons and armors emerged, moving as if they were on strings. Various battle ready armors moved around the room, alongside boots, gauntlets, and helmets. Bows with laser arrows notched on the strings, various kinds of tools, and guns with various kinds of ammunition also moved around the room like a fashion show. "The selection is small, however, my research grows more and more daily. I've been working on a large line of products that have not yet been put to prototype stage."
