A female dressed up as if she was going into battle walked through the main city below the Fire Lord's palace. The place she walked through was more of the main street where vendors had their stands and sold their merchandise. Not many people knew her since she liked to keep to herself. She only talked to the people she knew and even with the people she knew, she was enigmatic. Being an orphan and not knowing her true origins was one her inner-scars that kept her back socially. Most people would think she was a traveler and little did they know she was the unknown daughter of the Fire Lord. Her brother had most of the fame so not many people knew of her, except the ones in the palace. She liked it that way... who needed flame and glory when she considered herself a master when it came to fire bending. She could defeat almost anyone of these nations and with war about to explode all over the world... she was ready. Kana walked up to the end of the road flipping part of her hair behind her. The wind picking it up along with the scarf, as she stopped suddenly and looked around.
Kana made sure no one was around her as fire started to circle around her legs. Then it blasted out, shooting the female straight towards the sky. She was sick of the royalty she was around at times and needed to be in a more hectic environment. At times things were too quiet in the palace. Kana landed on top of a stone building as flames surrounded her. The flames dispersed away quickly and she jumped off the building. The female landed on the grounded and kept on walking, there weren't much to do as she waited for battle. Kana wasn't disloyal, but simply did not have allegience with any nation. She fought as a rogue mercenary as one could call it.

A male figure sat on a large plain of solid rock near Gaolin, deep in meditation. He was averagely thin and darkly-skinned due to his long hours he has spent in the sun. He posses a potent muscular build, as well as blond spiked hair and a pale blond goatee. He currently was wearing a pair of tan cotton shorts that covered half his knees and a dark tan sleeveless shirt, along with a pair of leather gauntlets that had stones set in the knuckles of it. Kazan meditated on a regular bases, to hone into his earth bending abilities. A breeze rolled by through the area and he opened his eyes, revealing them to be hazelnut. He slide his feet apart into a horse stance and brought his fists up into a fighting guard.
He suddenly swept his fists down, two columns of earth rising on either side of him. He turned, smashing his fists against the middle of them and upon contact, they snapped in half. After his second punch, he spun and thrusted his fist forward, the four halves rocketing forward and crashing into a wall of earth. Kazan opened his fists and thrusted his palms forward, then slowly closed them while pulling back as if he was grasping something. As he did this, the wall of earth trembled and many rocks of various sizes slid down from it in a rock slide. Kazan spun around, the rocks encircling him then then lased both his fists outward on either side of him, the rocks scattering and crashing into nearby walls and trees. "That is enough for now." Kazan thought inside his head, turning and began making his way back to the village.

"Never underestimate your opponent; no matter how weak they way seem."
Solex was standing to the side when he spotted the earth bender, who had yet to notice him. In his own mind, Solex already had a guarantee of victory. This was not a master earth bender. Compared to Solex, this man before him was nothing. Quickly, he flicked his left leg up in an axe kick, bringing it up and then back down to the ground, keeping it straight throughout the entire kick as it struck back down onto the ground. An enormous twirl of fire rushed out as this happened. He had orders to capture all benders that he found. This meant that he was supposed to capture this earth bender. The only exception to this was fire benders. He was also allowed to kill benders and bring their corpses, though capturing them alive was better. Solex knew that all of the other kingdoms had similar orders. Ever since the avatar was killed, and the war broke out, everyone had been against each other, a world war.
Everyone accused each other of killing the avatar. Without the avatar, there was no balance. To redeem itself for the war begun ages ago, it would be the fire nation that defeated all other nations, and restored peace once more. The twirl of fire only moved a few feet in front of him, since he held it back. He didn't want to alert the earth bender just yet. Then, after a few seconds of deep breathing, Solex rushed forwards. Flames gathered underneath his feet, and he left a huge trail of fire as he skidded down. His speed was doubled because of the "skating" that he was doing as a result of the fire. He spun in the air as the flames disappeared out from under his feet, and he released flames from each fist, and double snap kicked in the air to release more flames. Two twirls of flames, and two fireballs were rushing towards Kazan. Solex landed on his feet, palming another fireball towards his adversary.

Kana walked to the outskirts of the large city that contained the great Fire Lord's palace. She started to exit one of the large gates that opened. There weren't many people leaving the city due to the war and she watched as they let in a huge cargo. She could care less what it was and simply waited for it to pass. The female fire bender started to head for the gates as it took time to close. Kana neared the gate and the guard questioned her. He stopped in front of her and gave her a small shove. The look on the fire bender's changed from distant and calm to irritated. She brushed some hair out of her eye's view and stared at the man. "Hey! What's up with the armor? A pretty girl shouldn't be entering a war zone!" he growled at her. "My business is not yours, it should be to catch other elemental benders right?" Kana said before shoving past him with her shoulder.
The man was obviously annoyed as his eyes started to grow with anger. He quickly turned around and shot couple sticks of fire at Kana. The female did not even bother to turn around and could be seen walking at her same pace. But behind her trailed some fire that turned into a small wall of fire. The wall of fire caught the spikes of fire and ate them. Kana stopped for a moment and spikes of fire poked out of the wall. There were too many to count and the guard knew what was coming. The flying short spears of fire pierced their target to the ground. Luckily, or precisely by Kana, the man had no vital damage and did not have any serious wounds. He simply would start to burn until one of the other guards helped him. It seemed that would be their main objective for none of them seemed to believe they were strong enough for the mysterious fire bender.
Kana arrived at the open space outside of the capital city and looked around. It was then she noticed something oddly shaped flying through the sky. The female moved her feet back a little and positioned herself momentarily. From beneath the fire bender a huge burst of fire exploded, shooting Kana into the air. There was a small trail of fire as she flew in a direct arc towards the air bender. As she was reaching the point of fall, she watched a fire bender from beneath attacking someone. It seemed the air bender had assisted in the man's safety. It would seem this was a battle... it was a time of war and although she did not choose sides, battle was a favorable hobby. Kana learned little scholar-wise, growing up in a time of war. She only looked forward in protecting herself for she was the only one left in her biological family. She would attempt to finish this fast, not wanting to waste time in battle. Kana did not hunt for the fun of it, but it was her survival instincts that told her. The female reached back her arm and thrust it forward as she was descending from the sky. Her arm shot out a small pillar of fire aimed directly for the air bender. As she fell through the sky she aimed her hand down, for her recoil to fall upon the two fighters on the ground. She didn't know who they were, nor did she care. There was much dust and debris in the air that was slowly fading from the various attacks that were used.

OOC: Please note, even for a fire bending master, generating flames without movement, and using it to catch attacks and retaliate, as well as creating something as large as an enormous pillar of flames, are both taxing things to do. Your character would surely be winded from such massive fire bending. Only during Sozin's comet do things like this become easy, trivial.

What the fire bender's mistake was underestimating an opponent, especially an earth bender. An earthbender's training revolved around waiting and listening for the right moment to strike, and when that moment comes, the earthbender strikes with deadly force. Kazan heard a hiss of flame, since fire was not exactly the quietest of elements, plus Kazan had seen a flash of flame so he would of been alerted even if there was no noise. He turned his head towards its source, seeing the firebender unleash flames from his leg. He presumed this one meant to ambush him since he had not introduced himself and didn't decide to fight him head on. Kazan faced him, taking a side ways horse stance and lifted his fists into a fighting guard as the firebender started to come his way and launched his attack. he bent low and punched the ground, the earth forming around his arm into a gauntlet and at the same moment, the rock beneath him shot upward at a angle backwards, launching him into the air back towards the wall of earth.
Kazan saw the airbender arrive and disperse the attack by the firebender, however he heard another hiss of flame, this time in the air and saw another fire bender arrive, heading towards the airbender. "Defend yourself, Airbender!." Kazan barked as he punched forward with his gauntlet arm,the lower half of the earth gauntlet breaking off into a large plate of earth and flew under and against the attack of the flying firebender several feet above the airbender, blocking the fire. After he launched it, he landed infront of the earth wall and smashed the back of his fist against the wall and several plates of earth flew from it, aiming and heading at the flying firebender one at a time. His earth gauntlet reformed from the rocks of the wall and a large plate of earth broke off of the wall. He leapt on it as it landed on the ground and it started moving across it rapidly, heading towards the side of the airbender so he may support him. He kept an eye on both the firebenders, ready to defend and retaliate accordingly.

OOC: Okay, I will take that into consideration. I never really finished watching Avatar, only got interested in the beginning then lost inerest. So if I'm making mistakes just let me know, and I made sure it wasn't any devastating attacks. Thats why I made sure that it wasn't a "pillar of fire" but just a "small pillar".

The earth bender was moving towards him? That was a fiery mistake that Solex wouldn't allow his enemy to make, and get away with unscathed. He instantly let the jets from his feet end, skidding him on the ground. Another enormous twirl of flames lashed out of his right foot this time, as he sweep kicked at the ground. The earth bender would have to jump quite high to evade it. Causing earth to shoot up from under and launch him would cause Kazan to go too high, too far from his earth to bend. This was something Solex was counting on. At the same time, he rolled his palm across the air, a steady stream of fire forming in front. He smacked his palm through the air, aiming at the air bender. The flames charged forwards. First, they would also run over the earth bender if he didn't do something, and second, they continued towards the air bender. The target however, hadn't exactly been the airbender. It had been the glider.
The flames hit the wooden staff, quickly igniting it and burning it out of use. Solex couldn't have the air bender flying, now could he? Solex rose back up, stomping on the ground. A wall of flames exploded up in front of his body, and then faded. He exhaled through his nose, and fire rolled out of his nostrils, small puffs. Solex then proceeded to inhale, breathing deeply. He let himself go fluid with everything around him, allowing the fire to move through his body like his life blood. This was a fundamental part of the technique that he was about to release. Solex figured that it would be far grander if it was used during Sozin's comet. But, that wouldn't happen for a while. Solex was going to use this anyway. It wasn't like it wouldn't be powerful. It was stronger than anything the earth or air benders here could cook up.

Lang was surprised by the addition of another fire bender, He know was worried that he was out matched, He had no problem with running if it came to that. He was also surprised by the fire attack from the first fire bender he encountered, His staff was caught on fire, He quickly swirled his hands around in a rotating motion again, Putting out the flames, But it was to late, The glider was badly burnt, But from this point it was at least fixable should he find the right person to do so. He stomped his feet flat to the ground bending down abit, Closing his eyes and bringing his hands infront of his face palms together, his middle and pointer fingers on each hand being the only thing pointing up. He rotated clockwise bringing his left foot infront of him spinning more to have his right foot infront of him, Also Swinging both of his arms in a circular motion in there respective directions over his head, The sending his hands forward as his right foot came to be planted on the ground, A strong gust of wind was pushed at the Fire Bender, Hopefully knocking him back for a few moments. "Earth Bender! I know that all of the nations are at war right now, But if we want to get out of this we need to help each other out, Ill use my Air bending to Increase the effectavness of your Earth Bending attacks! Lang was hoping the earth bender would allow this temporary alliance. he knew he could not take either one of the fire benders on his own, they both seemed to be master, While lang was only Intermidiate.

The female firebender had her usual emotionless expression as she neared the ground. Kana watched as plates of earth rushed at her at one at a time. The fire bender twisted to the side, dodging the first plate. Her hands then flamed with lava, it would seem like fire at time to others. She punched the next incoming plate, crumbling parts of and the rest simply passing by her arm. Kana's lava engulfed fist had simply incinerated and burned through part of the rock. She then swung her arms as if a boxer in quick motions to sent out fireballs that would collide with the earth plates from hitting her.
It was then the female started to walk closer to the three benders. She did not notice the two foreign benders, but she did notice the fire bender. She recognized him instantly, he was basically... her step brother. She was an orphan, so she wasn't blood related. Kana's relationship with him wasn't too well or too bad, it was more neutral than anything. Especially since Kana had a misanthropic mentality that kept her from really putting herself out there.
Kana simply made eye contact quickly with Solex before returning her eyes back to the opponent. She didn't need to greet him, they already knew they simply never looked at each other as siblings. The female fire bender would have probably decided to fight all three of the benders in a free for all. If it wasn't for Solex, she couldn't return to the palace to have the royalty know the two master fire benders were fighting against each other in a time of war. It was then Kana instantly spun around using her left hand and forcing three fire balls that spinned around one another as it traveled to the air bender. The balls then split up couple feet away from the air bender and surrounded him triangularly. The fire seemed to die out slowly before shooting out to the middle target, Lang. On impact with either the air bender or one another, it would make a small explosion that wouldn't affect anyone nearby.

Kazan grinned, relishing in the fact the fire bender decided to face and attack him. "Airbender, use your bending on me and create a tornado around me when i say now." Kazan said to Lang as he passed by him and only said it loud enough for it to be audio able ONLY to Lang. He had after all, wanted the fire bender to attack. He presumed the royalty of the fire nation were far too spoiled and uneducated in the knowledge of other benders besides fire. He also believed that the fire bender did not count of an earth-air combination, an earth-shattering mistake that Kazan would use to his advantage. He continued forward on his slate of earth towards the fire bender, even as the twirl of flames was unleashed at him. When he saw them unleashed, he pulled up the slab of earth he was traveling on using his legs, his feet magnetized to it. "Now!" Kazan shouted, signalling Lang to do the task he instructed.
If the action was successful, the tornado of increase Kazan's speed drastically, giving the fire bender hardly any time to react to an attack like this fully. The tornado would protect Kazan and the slab from the flames. Also, the fire would encase the outside of the tornado, giving the illusion that Kazan had been engulfed in the flames. Kazan would propel through the attack and immediately, slam into the firebender, sending him either skidding or flying back several feet at the most. The fire around the tornado would also scorch him if he did not find a way to lessen to damage. Kazan detached himself from the slab after the attack and leapt out of the tornado, landing skidding on his feet. Kazan did all this while the airborn fire bender was busy with his plates of rock. He whirled around towards Kana as he heard her approach and release the fireballs at Lang. Instantly, Kazan smashed his fist onto the ground and a wall of earth burst up from the ground a foot away from Lang, surrounding him in a circle. When the fireballs seemed to die out then suddenly went to impact on Lang in the center, Kazan thrusted his fists out towards either side of him. While he was doing this motion, the earth wall spread out several feet, colliding with the fireballs and protecting Lang. Kazan stood up and opened his palms, moving his hands around in multiple directions. While he did this, the earth wall broke off into dozens of spears of earth. Half of them went rocketing for Kana while the other went towards where Kazan would be.
"Never underestimate your opponent; no matter how weak they way seem."
Lightning charged across Solex's hands while he was preparing his special fire technique in his body. This allowed him to blast a fast, powerful bolt straight into Kazan's forehead just as he started his movement with the rock slab. It happened the instant he started to open his mouth. The lightning was too fast for him to dodge (especially since he was moving towards the one firing it!) There were multiple extra factors that came in. Kazan spoke while the twirl was coming out, and then was just starting to move as the staff was burned. This meant that when he got into a full movement, Solex was already almost done charging his advanced fire technique, plus he was able to get the lightning out. And, again, due to the speed of the lightning; there was no way to dodge. And, again, the lightning allowed no time for a defense from Kazan. It was too strong for his defenses anyway, being what could be considered the most advanced fire bending technique, and it was coming from a master. Also, since he had to put out his burning staff, Lang's tornado was going to be delayed a couple of seconds.
Then again, Lang wouldn't have been able to get it out fast enough for the lightning anyway, even without the delay. And, the tornado would not have been very large if he wanted it to be strong. At his level, he would have been unable to make something like that. It would have been small anyway to maintain a good amount of strength. So, essentially, this was Kazan's death. Solex was ordered to bring benders back alive, but he was allowed to kill them. Unless Kana had a sudden change of heart, the lightning's attack blasted a hole directly through Kazan's forehead, leaving steam emitting from a cauterized wound that went all the way to the brain and past it, out the other end of the skull. This stopped all of his attacks. And, as that ended, Solex took a good look at Lang, and also past him, locking eyes with Kana. He knew who Kana was, and she knew who he was.
While they had essentially been raised the same way as siblings, his neutrality towards her wouldn't change. The only one that he really cared about in that regard was the prince himself, whom he considered a brother. Solex didn't like the way Kana operated, or her attitude and personality. He also knew that if it weren't for their orders and this war, she would attack him too. Solex didn't think she could beat him, but it would be inconvenient to have her attack him. But, due to the war, they were allies, two fire benders working against an air bender and earth bender, capturing dead or alive. As for Kazan's belief (though Solex did not know Kazan had thought this) of fire benders like Solex and Kana not knowing about combinations, he was dead wrong. Being brought up in the palace was the complete opposite of being spoiled in terms of learning to bend. The truth was that the Fire Lord was supposed to become the strongest fire bender in the kingdom, and was supposed to be capable of also fighting all other benders at master levels; and come out on top. As a result, he was trained very harshly. And, Solex had trained with the exact same people as the prince, and under the exact same methods. Solex knew all about fire bending, but he also knew all about the various ways that other bending could be used as well.
So, a combo would not have surprised him. In the mean time, Solex released a gigantic fireball from his mouth. He had been charging it for a while, building up a large mass of power for it. He roared as he released it. Starting as a small jet stream, it quickly erupted into a gigantic, molten ball of flames and heat, rushing towards Lang. It was the size of several boulders. During Sozin's comet, fire benders like Solex could make it the size of a large meteor (I.E. Irou did this when retaking Ba Sing Se). However, it was not Sozin's comet. But, nonetheless, it was worth using this power. It was large, and it was easily stronger than anything that Lang could possibly create with his bending. He would be unable to block it. Dodging was his only option, and the fireball was fast, powerful and hot. Even if he did dodge it, some part of it would probably damage him in some way because of the size and speed. A master fire bender used a technique like this, and he did it well. He had taken time to charge it, as opposed to the other benders who had tried to use everything in an instant. Solex had been the superior bender in this case. Also, due to the fact that the fireball was super powerful, the tornado was completely destroyed as it struck it. (Even though the tornado was no longer necessary for the air-earth strategy anyway, due to the certain 'lacking' of a key part of that strategy.)
