Bleach: Online World is a fun and exciting way to exercise your creativity and escape into a world you help build! It is an expansive roleplay experience depicting the entire Bleach Universe, but this time we control what happens. This is a great place to meet new people, make friends, and come to have fun and relax for a few hours as you lose yourself in the mind of a character that you design!
Here, you decide your own destiny as you forge your way through Soul Society as a Shinigami, or through Hueco Mundo as a Hollow. Travel the world as a human, or corrupt it as a Bount. Hunt your prey and escape your enemies as a Quincy, or put on your mask and roar as a Vizard. Whichever path you choose, your role in this expansive, alternate Bleach universe is up to you! There are no canon characters to deter or impede you, and everyone can help each other build their story! So what are you waiting for? Hop on in, and get started!
V5 upgrades are actually going fairly smoothly overall. To fix 99% of spoilers, just modify and save changes to your post without actually doing anything. Aside from that, it's a kinda complex debugging process. PM me if you have specific posts that are being derpy.
Types have been reorganized and clarified. Check out Section 7 for more info. TMs have been nerfbatted a bit, and the Empath type was added.
Additionally, I am sweeping inactive characters. If your profile accidentally vanished, let staff know and we'll get it back from the Old Characters board. Additionally, I am fixing spoilers and coding in the accepted characters, so that's why every app under the sea has an edit by me.
Z asked me announce things, but I'm really tired at the moment.
Pie is tired, so Z's hijacking this announcement.
Sections 1 and 2 have been edited and reorganized.
Section 1 is still "Character Creation and Information," but is now more of an introduction to the site.
Section 2 is now "Race and Release Information," and contains both information on each race as well as their release and leveling path. Still prone to some reorganization. Battle Mechanics is now an unnumbered section for the moment while I finish my updates.
Section 4 is also updated for those who missed it, with Types being organized and some minor tweaks made, particularly to Technique Master.

We are going to be trying a new method of requesting staff for gradings. Previously, you just kinda left a thread sitting there (for apps/techs), PMed a staff member, or posted in a random thread. This was rather awkward for a number of reasons. Staff had to check a bunch of different places to see if they needed to do anything, it was impossible for staff to know if someone else was already working on a grading, and sometimes things just got buried. There was also the issue of people only PMing one staff member who wasn't there, or PMing all of the staff, most of whom logged in after something had already been graded. It worked, but there was definitely a lot of opportunity for us to streamline the process.
The solution we are using is that the report a post feature, found under the gear icon on the top right of each post, next to the like and edit buttons, should now be used for all grading requests. The report reason should read "grading request." I know it's a little odd of us to use the feature in this way, but in the end, it should make the grading process more efficient than it currently is. This will make things a lot simpler for staff, as well as give us access to some tools that our old method doesn't. For staff that are reading this, if there's any work to be done, you should see a little number next to the admin button in your navigation bar at the top of the screen. The posts will all show up under security, reported posts.
Clarified a few things about classes of releases with Zou. Section 2 has been updated to include the following information:
Primary fullbring is class 4 for purposes of a clash at level one. Level 2 fullbring and secondary fullbring are both treated as class 2.
Primera Etapa and Segunda Etapa for Arrancar are the same class as whoever is using them. Primera Etapa caps at class 1 for this, but Segunda Etapa can be treated as Class 0.
Mod Soul techniques were, at some point, mistakenly moved to the wrong levels. Mod Souls get level 1 of their technique at class 7, and level 7 is unlocked at class 1. At class 8, they have no powers, just like a class 8 human. For clashes, mod soul techniques are the class that a given level is unlocked at. For mod souls who have already started threads at class 8, you can just keep using your technique for those threads, because, well, this one is entirely our bad and it would be insane of us to punish you guys for our mistake.

Per Kento, weapon master description was outdated. You get 4 total release techniques that can be distributed however you wish. The 2 shikai/2 bankai was a relic from when you were mandated to have 2 shikai techniques and 4 bankai techniques.
Old medic description was vague. Talked to Zou about it. Medics are permitted to have one offensive property or technique, the same as support types. The type has been updated to reflect this.
New amendment! Limiters have been reworked. No one was really using them, probably because they were outdated and did bizarre things like reduce 50 strength characters to the point they couldn't move. Limiters are now officially optional, and completely arbitrary flavor details. If you want to use one, you can reduce your power as much or as little as you wish, and not all stats need to be adjusted by the same amount. DMs can still impose limiters at set values if they want though, because DMs have power like that within their own threads.
