Well, that was taken care of, no doubt about it when he saw the head of Aega land on the pier. Way to lose your head in a fight. Literally. A bad pun yes but it had truth behind it. Zieg landed back onto solid ground, his shikai breaking apart and his zanpakuto returning to his right hand, now having to reactivate it if he desired to fight in shikai. He was trying to refrain now for using reiatsu for a bit, planning to mainly use the gauntlents he wore to combat whoever came next, but he might need his shikai soon too. Speaking of too soon, they were already faced with another fullbringer it seemed. Damn it, another one already? These guys were persistent on stopping him and the other shinigami from getting to their headquarters. "Not happening." Zieg snapped back in response , swinging his blade around once and pointing it at the fullbringer. He was getting quite sick and tired of these guys getting in there way, and they were only at the halfway mark! He had no idea what this guy's abilities were, but no doubt he was about to find out. He kept in mind of the gas station and made plans to utilize it in the near future, but now they had to face this guy and find out what he could do so they could attack and plan accordingly.

Ren's coat started whipping about in a horrifying wind, ghastly and hot as he slipped on a white demon mask, and raised his hands. There was some kind of wire cord in between his hands. Ren stared out at his three Shinigami adversaries. Apparently, his ability was a lot deadlier than he'd let on through his original appearance. Sparks began igniting along his black gloved hands and along the wire cord, and the air around them started to heat up. This didn't look good at all. Not even close to good, in fact. Ren didn't look very happy.
The sun was in the middle of the sky at that point, and in a couple of hours would be setting. Its glorious golden light fell upon the buildings to make large, stretched out shadows as Ren's wire cord instantly burst into flames, crackling and sparking with red energy. "The birth mother of our earth: Fire." Ren said. His cord was gone, replaced instead by flames dancing across his body. His black coat had also been replaced, and instead he wore a coat that was identical, except a burning reddish orange, made of fire. This was his power. To be clad in fire. That wasn't good for these three. A fire user would prove to be very deadly.
"Ren..." Rin was angry. Incredibly angry. There was yet another one of these humans. What exactly were they hiding that they needed to send them? Orange eyes looked over their opponent apprehensively. Kaname used an element...and so did Aega. If Kaname was earth and Aega was metal, then what was Ren? He looked like he had rage almost like her own. Those eyes were proof of it. Perhaps he was lightning? No...fire? It was either one of the two. He just struck her as the type to have a power like that. It was just a guess. She listened to him as he spoke. He was probably right. Rin herself was low on reiatsu as well as Zieg. Kaen was strong, but if these enemies got stronger as they moved on, it might be too much on him. If there was more people similar to Ren coming after them (which she didn't doubt there are) then they were in serious trouble. Ne...What a troublesome situation!
About a moment later, Rin's suspicious were confirmed. He was fire. "Ne, Kaen-san. Be careful with this one...Don't be afraid to do anything horrendous to him! she said the last part with a smile. Basically, she was telling him to make the bastard suffer and die. That was all that Rin wanted right now. These humans were so very annoying and they got on every little bit of Rin's nerve.
The most annoying thing about fire would have to be that it was like AIDS: It spreads. YEAH. Not only that but it's slowly killing you. Okay. Maybe a sexually transmitted disease wasn't the greatest idea, but it sure as hell gives you a good enough idea of how bad the situation is, doesn't it? This meant that distance was probably key to winning this fight. Rin switched her weapon to a set of throwing knives. 8 each. She threw three at Ren's thigh, three at his left shoulder and one at his stomach. Dodging would be difficult considering the fact that she aimed at three different spots. She really wanted to see the extent of his fire powers. What exactly could he do? Rin made a point to keep a distance from Ren. She had to make sure that she would be able to dodge any attack he had coming for her. Rin. Ren. This was going to get confusing.
All of the blades struck the flames, and simply disintegrated completely against them. That was how hot they were. In a single burst, they were blazing. In that magnificent heating, they were nothing. Surrounded and covered by the flames along his entire body, Ren didn't even need to move. He simply started walking forwards while the blades met their marks and failed to pass the hot fire. An impressive man, Ren thundered forwards instantly, his movement bringing him forwards at his top speed. So it was his turn to attack, then. Ren was going to show them his full power.
His fist was lashing out towards Rin's face, since she'd attacked first. She'd feel it before it was even within five meters of her, the heat erupting off of his body. If Rin got hit by that, she wasn't going to make it out with anything less than a permanent scar from the burn. Even a short contact with those flames would permanently damage her. She had to be sure to avoid being hit by Ren's awesome power, or she'd surely face dire consequences. Ren's Remaining Reiatsu: 1800 Reiatsu
Kaen gave a small grin when Zieg gave such a defiant reply. How typical of the 11th squad Vice Captain to say such a thing. It was exactly as Kaen had expected of him, and he was glad that the man voiced Kaen's sentiments on the matter. He looked the man over as he activated his Fullbring power. Fire, huh? Kaen grinned a little bit at that. "That's ironic. Kind of funny that a guy named Rai uses fire, right?" He told Ren, already having forgotten his name. "But you probably get that a lot don't you?" Well, if he was fire, Kaen couldn't resist.
Kaen drew his zanpakuto from its sheath and flipped it into a reverse grip, holding it with the back of the blade touching the outside of his arm. "Burn Hachiryuu!" Kaen proclaimed as his zanpakuto leapt to life in a blaze of orange reiatsu. Kaen could tell this guy was serious, and if he was a fire type user, Kaen felt there would be none better than he to take the front lines, even if he was less skilled than the two Vice Captains. As he finished his release, he heard his Vice Captain begin to speak to him.
So... don't be afraid to maim him? Kaen's face split into a devious grin. Awesome. Glad to see we're on the same wavelength." Kaen said to his Vice Captain as she launched her attack. He was quite surprised to see her attacks rendered ineffective by the flames around Ren, and then looked at his zanpakuto. "Oi, old man. Think you can handle this?"[/i] "Is that a joke, boy? I've seen candles that burned hotter than this child!"[/i] Kaen held his grin. "Glad to see you're on board.[/i]
He saw Ren move to attack Rin, and his eyes widened in surprise. "He's fast! He looks about as fast as me!"[/i] Kaen went to protect his Vice Captain, lunging between Ren and Rin, and shaping a flame as he did so. Ren's blow would find itself deflected by a literal shield of fire that Kaen had shaped from his zanpakuto. He hadn't been sure if he could take the blow head on, so he had modified the shield to be particularly curved in order to deflect the blow. And since the shield was attached to his zanpakuto it kept his hands free. And Kaen knew this shield wouldn't be taken out so easily. You can't burn a flame afterall, no matter how hot one's own flames may have been.
Kaen then initiated his counterblow, attempting to exploit the opening that the missed punch would have left. No doubt Ren would have been surprised to see his punch deflected... heck, he may have even been surprised that one of his foes could create a suitable defense against his attacks! Regardless though, a deflected punch should have left him momentarily open, and Kaen aimed to target that opening, attempting to shield bash Ren in the face-- hard. If it connected, Ren would feel as though he had been hit with an actual shield made out of steel! And if he didn't have his own immunity to the flames of others, then he'd likely suffer severe burns from contact with the weapon as well! As they say, fight fire with fire, and that's what Kaen planned to do! While the extreme heat around Ren made the counterattack uncomfortable, Kaen was used to extreme heat, due to the simple nature of his zanpakuto, as well as training against it. While it was noticeable, he wasn't especially hampered by it.

Ren didn't give any verbal response to Kaen's words, nor did he show much reaction other than to quickly retract when his punch was blocked. He was probably used to shock, or at least a master of masking it. He might even have legitimately felt no shock. He seemed to be the type of guy that was deployed as an assassin constantly. When Kaen aimed to shield bash him though, Ren of course displayed an ability that would leave Kaen baffled, and possibly even a little bit impressed.
He punched forwards as Kaen aimed to shield bash him, and the shield of flames broke formation, the flames roaring up Ren's body, and changing in reiatsu. They became Ren's own flames, adding to the power across his body, and giving him additional strength with which to strike. In the process of attacking, Kaen was left with no way to defend himself against the incoming punch. Rin, who was in the middle of having just been protected, wouldn't move fast enough. Zieg probably could try and land an attack in the meantime, but he couldn't be able to protect Kaen.
Ren's fist dead on impacted, sending Kaen flying backwards into a nearby concrete wall. Luckily for him, he was a fire user, and since some of his own flames had gone into this, he was a bit more resistant. Still, what was blackened and reddened and left was a large burn across the chest that steamed and smoked and probably stung like the electric power of a thousand jellyfish, though in hindsight this was probably underestimating the pain, and it was by far not even close to exaggeration.
Ren had the ability to absorb other flames and add them to his power. To be clad in flames, that was his ability. Not only did he have his own flames, but he could turn other flames into his own flames, adding to that which clad him. It was in fact, a very impressive power. Most people just tried to shape flames or control raw flames or something like that. Ren used extremely hot flames that he covered his own body with, and he took on the flames of others to increase his own offensive ability as well. A truly original fire user.
On top of that, after striking at Kaen, he had another attack coming. He flipped towards Rin, moving his leg down to slam towards her head. His whole body besides the head was already covered in flames, and so if his leg hit Rin's head, it would burn her and kill her as well anyway. So of course, she had to find a way to defend herself against the incoming attack. That, or Zieg had to do it. Kaen wouldn't make it on time because of what had just happened.

Zieg glared at the male fullbringer while he activated his ability. Fire, oh joy, this was going to be a pain. Fire was one of the strongest elements one could utilize and this guy had it. Not only that, but no doubt he had sub categories, like the previous fullbringers, that gave him more powers. Zieg couldn't really choose what those could be, the only ones that came to find were magma, lava, lightning and possibly heat. If this guy could radiate heat from himself, similar to a certain bount leader's doll's abilites, then this guy was going to be more trouble. There was really only one option on Zieg's mind: hit this guy as hard as they can. On the up side, he had his r-weapon so this was a good advantage on Zieg's part. The down side currently was that his shikai was up, so he had to either go shikai or bankai. He wanted to go bankai if another fullbringer showed up after this, but if he had to, he would activate his shikai. Zieg's attacks, for now, would be revolving around his r weapon rather then his zanpakuto.
Speaking of zanpakuto's, Zieg noted that the new guy: Kaen, had a fire type of zanpakuto. Good, a fire user would be helpful against another fire user. However, no doubt, Zieg assumed that the fullbringer's fire was stronger. Why was this? Well, because he was a fullbringer, one that looked to be stronger then the former. Still, helpful to have a fighter with fire on their team. Zieg took guard as Rin threw several knives at the fullbringer, in which his flames disseminated them away. Well, that was going to be a problem number one: breaking through his fire shield. Zieg had to at least try and penetrate it with his r-weapon before making his final decision to go shikai or not. He most likley would in any case, for this fullbringer seemed to be one in which shikai would come in handy. Seeing that Ren was making his way towards Rin, Zieg began to move to intercept, two Raikohos beginning to charge on his gauntlets. However, on the opposite side, Kaen had intercepted the attack before he could get any closer, due to his speed advantage but he now had been knocked out of the way by the fullbringer. Seeing as the fullbringer was still there, Zieg assumed he was to make an attack for Rin, for she was the closest and was his first target anyway. Zieg had to intervene, now in a closer range then he was before but still about a meter away from her. He drove his two fists forward into a punching motion, both at his body, at the mid-air fullbringer, who was just performing a flip at Rin and attempting to leg drop her from above. As he performed the punching motion, two raikohos thundered out of his gauntlets and blasted straight for the attacking fullbringer. Upon contact with him or the flames, they would erupted with explosive power, driving both him and Rin away from eachother and quite possibly damaging the human since the attack's reiatsu strength was equal to Ren's own. "Never underestimate your opponent; no matter how weak they way seem."
There was a problem on Zieg's end. Raikoho simply was consumed and obliterated by the hot flames. Even with equal reiatsu strength, Zieg should be able to see now what it was that gave such power to Ren, and made him so formidable. It wasn't that the fire was a formidable power, it was that it was a formidable fire, and it wasn't being used raw or shaped like most people did it. It was clad around Ren, and it was a strong clad. He used it to aid in his attacks, sure, but moreover he used it to defend himself. Sure, the blast drove away Rin and Ren, but the issue was that Zieg was running out of steam. So was Rin. In the end, both Vice Captains had wasted their power against the first two. They barely had any reiatsu remaining. And, even though he was new backup, Kaen wasn't going to be able to help them through the rest of this. Kaname had said it earlier.
There were six total. Ren was number 3. He was pushing them to their limits, which had been reached by the end of Aega. Aega would have pushed them even farther if they hadn't gotten Kaen in the form of backup. Therefore, instead of continuing here and dilly dallying to their deaths, they should probably take some opportunity for two of them to distract Ren, one to open/request a Senkaimon, and then all three to flee. It was the logical choice to abandon this mission. There was no way that they were going to get through it alive, definitely not.
OOC: Right, I'm just ending this here. Rin's being too slow, plus you guys made lots of mistakes. It's obvious you'll die if this canon goes on. +150 CTP only. Mostly because you failed the mission.
