Hiro choked on his own breath as he wheezed, awaking with a start. He was surrounded by nothing but darkness. He didn't know what was going on. He heard the sounds of other people's breathing, or something else's breathing, so he knew that he wasn't alone. He didn't want to alert the others yet in case they were animals or hostile or something along those lines. He quickly inspected his body. No wounds, nothing seriously wrong with him. He had a few bruises and a couple of scratches, but that was it. Hiro stood up silently. He tried to feel the reiatsu of the others. They didn't seem like threats to him. "Hello?" he called out, half hoping that there wouldn't be any answer. Of course, when an answer came, Hiro's hopes were shattered. Since the other half of him had wanted an answer, this wasn't too crushing after all.

"No one can help." Adalo said as he heard Hiro talk. He wasn't bloodthirsty right now. Actually, he hadn't been bloodthirsty for a long time. He didn't get bloodthirsty until he was in battle. The Segunda Espada had beaten it out of Adalo a few weeks ago. A few hours ago, he had struggled to resist capture, but had been taken to this dungeon. He had woken up however, and had gone through the same routine as Hiro. Nobody else had been awake, but nobody else had come to the rescue either. So Adalo was the seniority in the situation. "We're all alone with a few other people, Shinigami." he said. "Even though I am an Arrancar and you are a Shinigami, we will have to work together. First, tell me your name. I am Adalo De-Mona, Quinta Espada."

Dimitri had already entered into the dungeons, Hearing the Shreaks and crys of those less fortunate then him. He knew what he was here for, All those he heard screaming probably had no reason at all to be there. Dimitri was here to find out for the Soul Society what the Ogatago was up to, The Soul Society had reviced word of this Base being opened for unknown reasons, Ending up sending Dimitri along with some others, Or so he heard others came as well, Yet he had not run into any Shinigami yet, He had his hand resting on his blade as he pushed on through the darkness of the dungeon.

Zieg coughed lightly and covered his mouth for a moment with his sleeve. The stench of the Ogatago was definitely strong here as he continued walking through the Dungeon. He looked all around him, his senses alert and he himself was feeling quite paranoid in the darkness. The slightest noise made him nearly draw out his zanpakuto and hurl it at the source of the noise. He suddenly heard voices up ahead, quickening his pace till they came into view. He immediately recognized one as a arrancar and reached for his zanpakuto but then saw that he was talking to a shinigami. He saw that it was a vice captain, due to his outfit and walked forward. "I see we are all in a situation..." Zieg said with a slight nervous tone, his blue eyes focused on the espada. "Zieg Revolver, Fourth Seat of Squad 11, at your service." he stated, resting his sword hand back to his side.

"Never underestimate your opponent; no matter how weak they way seem."
OOC: I'm starting this early. I'd like to get the plot well on it's way.
IC:
Suddenly, from out of nowhere, an eyeball materialized, floating in the air and staring at everyone. It had a dark, dimly glowing red iris. A synthetic voice spoke, seemingly from the eyeball. "Hello there, Shinigami, Arrancar. Today you will be undergoing a certain experimentation, a game. You must clear the game that I have set before you. You will live if you can do this. If you do not solve the game, then you will die. If you try to escape, if you defy the rules of my game, I will kill you. Let the games begin, and good luck."
Very suddenly, the room changed. Those that were caged were no longer caged, all the injuries and whatnot any of the people there had were healed. Everyone was plunged into what appeared to be a room in a dome shape, with no absolute corners. It was a gray, blue, and black-silverish. The room was very large, and covered in what appeared to be golden hieroglyphics. It had no door. Up on the ceiling, there was what appeared to be some kind of puzzle. It seemed that it would have to be decoded. Instructions were written above the puzzle.
Select the three numbers that have a stake in death. . .
Post by hirokaname on May 22, 2010 21:08:27 GMT -5
Hiro didn't study too much in the Occult, but he knew the numbers that had stakes in death. All of them. The number of the True Shinigami - Gods of Death. The Number of Hell, and of Satan. The Number of Bad luck. He knew all of them, and all of them were on here.
"666", he said first. "4." he said next. "13" he said finally.
He had chosen all three numbers. There was no doubt in his mind that he was right. If he was wrong, Hiro would face the consequences and he would probably die. He prayed that he was right.
Each number lit up as a correct answer was given. Hiro was absolutely right. And now, it came time for a new puzzle. The room spun around, changing yet again. Now, a new puzzle was laid out. This was appeared to be a simple riddle. What the answer was, the four would have to find out themselves.
I exist in all things, and I am believed an illusion. But it is my counterpart which is the illusion, for it is limited by my appearance. Even in space and around everything I exist. I am what allows my counterpart to exist. Which each victory of my counterpart, it is I that is the winner. What am I?

OOC: Total Star Wars.

Adalo knew the answer to this. It was a part of his powers. It was an undefinable truth that he had known from the beginning of his days as a Hollow. People are comforted knowing that darkness is an illusion, and that light breaks that illusion. They feel relief when the day comes, ending the illusion of the night. But it is the light which is the illusion. Just as the sun sets each each, and the darkness comes in night, the day is limited by the light cast upon it. Even in space, it is darkness that surrounds everything, and were it not for the darkness, there would be no light that could exist within it. It is darkness which keeps light in existence. With each victory of the light, it is the darkness that wins. Adalo knew the truth, and there was nothing that could really stop him from giving the right answer. "You are Darkness." he said.
